As both a travel agent and a Marriott Bonvoy card member, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Aloft Cancun, and I must say it was a refreshing and enjoyable experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s friendliness and professionalism stood out. Mario deserves a special mention for being exceptionally informative, accommodating, and helpful throughout my stay. He went above and beyond to ensure every question was answered and every need met with genuine care. I’d also like to thank Emmanuel for his wonderful restaurant recommendations, which made exploring local dining options a true delight. The hotel itself is clean, organized, and spacious, creating a comfortable and modern environment that feels both relaxed and efficient. Housekeeping was attentive, and the overall layout made navigating the property easy and enjoyable. One small area of improvement I’d suggest is the television channel selection. It would be great if the hotel incorporated more English-language options or offered closed captioning capabilities for non-Spanish-speaking guests. This simple update would make the entertainment experience more inclusive and convenient. Overall, my stay at Aloft Cancun was pleasant and memorable, and I would confidently recommend this property to both leisure and business travelers. The staff’s warmth, the hotel’s cleanliness, and its convenient location all contribute to a standout stay in the heart of Cancun.

Excellent resort. I am a former 4yr manager of the Kalahari Waterpark resort, the world's largest indoor Waterpark resort - 2000 rooms, 10k guests. I know excellence when I see it. The resort is amazing - the staff are helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The rooms are immaculate. I missed the sunset so no rooftop photo, but they have the best rooftop bar and pool in the entire Cancun hotel zone area. Highly recommended!

Amazing hotel for the price. Great experience. Staff was amazing. Mario was awesome and very helpful. Definetly the person to talk to for any questions or help with anything. Location is perfect with supermarket and restaurants,bars and night life. Ferry to Isla mujeres is right in front which is a must do. Open bar at hotel and included breakfast is definitely a plus. Looking forward to come back!!!!

This is a great hotel. People are very nice. Are there better hotels? Yes definitely! are there better ones for the money? No! They have a great location and have mastered the value proposition. I came to cancun to do stuff, not sit in an all inclusive and get wasted. However, this hotel has free drinks all day until 9pm and their breakfast is OK. Plus, you can take the red bus from the airport and it drops off with in a block. Just enter the cancun center and walk through to the hotel. The roof top pool is nice, nothing super fancy but a great place to relax at the end of a busy day exploring. Only down side is it isn't on the beach, but that is reflective of its price. Beachs are a 5 min walk in both directions, so is the ferry to Isla mujeras

Good location. Nice staff. Enjoyed the open bar and the breakfast. However, there were many issues at this hotel. TONS of loud construction happening throughout the day. So bad that we had to be relocated. Even after, it was still loud. The pool is really gross. Chunks of dirt and mold everywhere, along with hundreds of bugs. Probably hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. We got trapped in the elevator and had to PRY the doors open. Not a fun experience! We also got harassed by some European couple who were threatening and screaming at us for zero reason. We had to leave the rooftop area because the staff didn’t do anything about it and we felt uncomfortable. It looks nothing like the photos online. Not horrible for the price. I’ve stayed at worse places. However, if you spend a little more $ you can get a way better place than Aloft Cancún - and I’m saying this as someone who typically stays in MB / Aloft hotels.
