We stayed at this luxury resort to celebrate my friend's birthday and wow! Our entire stay was delightful from the ferry trip to the island and back. Our suite was spacious and super clean with a nice jacuzzi tub. We had a fully stocked refrigerator and cozy chairs on our balcony. There are no complaints with the staff at Almare. Everyone worked extremely hard to accommodate us. The meals were unique and tasty however it would've been nice if there were all day buffet options. Overall, I'd book again.

I recently stayed at Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort in Isla Mujeres, and it was one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. The resort is absolutely beautiful, with a calm and refined atmosphere that makes it easy to relax from the moment you arrive. Everything feels intentional, from the design to the materials to the way the light hits the ocean. The food and drinks were incredible. You can really taste the quality in every single thing they serve. Nothing felt cheap or watered down like at some other all-inclusive resorts. BOGA was perfect for breakfast with a great mix of fresh fruit, pastries, and cooked-to-order dishes. The Seasalt rooftop restaurant was the highlight of my stay. Dinner there felt special every night, both for the view and the creativity of the food. During the day, the pool bar became my favorite place to be. The service was quick, the food was fresh, and every drink was made with care. The people working at Almare are what make it truly stand out. Alan, the Food and Beverage Manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything about our stay was perfect. Karen, who took care of us while we were in the beach cabanas, was so sweet and attentive. And Rafael, the bartender, made every drink with such skill and energy that seeing him was always a highlight of the day. It’s rare to meet people who love what they do as much as this team does. I also went on a private kayaking tour with one of the managers, and it ended up being one of my favorite moments of the trip. Every manager I spoke with seemed genuinely invested in making the resort grow into something even better, which makes me excited to go back and see how it evolves. If I had to give one small critique, it’s that there is usually only one restaurant open for dinner each night. It didn’t take away from the experience at all, but it’s something to know if you like a lot of variety. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and felt luxurious in every way. Every part of the resort feels new and cared for. As someone who usually stays at properties like the St. Regis or other high-end Marriott hotels, I can honestly say that Almare exceeded every expectation. It’s the kind of place where you feel looked after without ever feeling crowded or rushed. I can’t wait to come back.

Gorgeous resort with top-notch service — food and amenities need a boost ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Almare Isla Mujeres is a stunning property that delivers exceptional service in a truly beautiful setting. The team members were consistently warm, professional, and eager to make our stay special. Our room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable, and the main pool area was lovely — the semi-heated water and calm turquoise ocean made it easy to relax and enjoy the view. The bartenders were also a highlight, offering skilled mixology, a strong liquor selection, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails. Where the experience fell short was in dining and amenity variety. The food presentation was beautiful, but the quality and selection were limited. With inky two restaurants, the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus remained static and repetitive. The rooftop pool was much smaller than expected, with bar service beginning late in the day and inconsistent attention once open. Lastly, there were no general hot tubs unless you held elite status AND specifically requested access to the spa. Overall, Almare offers a first-class setting and outstanding hospitality — however, the food must be addressed to have the potential to stand out against the very best all-inclusive experiences.

Was picked up at a partner hotel for the hotel ferry and service provided was already top notch. Provided a free drink and took the boat ride over. All luggage was handled by staff. Provided a quick tour of the resort and shown to the room where they provided me an upgrade as an ambassador with Marriott. The resort is very clean for it to be open air. Weather was wonderful and beach was clean. Some parts are rocky but compared to other resorts this time of year it was great and cleaned up as much as possible. They provided free paddle boards, snorkeling gear, kayaks and took us on a short trip. This service was great and the entertainment crew did a great job even though occupancy was low at this time. All the Food was fantastic and everything tasted fresh! All the servers would remember us mostly and my girlfriend’s gluten free allergy was no worries! I forgot to reserve twice for dinner but no issues with getting us in. Before or after dinner we would enjoy a few drinks with Eli and Joseph at the main lobby bar. Those guys are fantastic and so personable and made the BEST drinks. The golf cart is quite expensive but convenient. If not in your budget staff will help get you a taxi to get into north part of the island which is only $10z I would definitely visit again. If your looking for a relaxing time with no worries and this is the place to be.

Real quiet and peaceful place. Not over crowded. Food is always made fresh when ordered, not buffet style. Staff is very welcoming. Rooms are very nice, everything looks clean and kept up. They provide a private ferry boat from cancun to the island. You just need to make arrangements from airport to resort port. Overall great place if you are looking for a nice clean and quiet get away.
