Our stay at this all-inclusive resort on Isla Mujeres was nothing short of exceptional, and the staff are the true reason this place deserves five stars. From the moment we arrived, every single person we encountered was genuinely warm, attentive, and eager to make our stay unforgettable. The service never felt forced or scripted—just kind, thoughtful, and personal. Whether it was at the restaurants, the bars, the pool, or housekeeping, the staff consistently went above and beyond, remembering preferences, checking in without being intrusive, and making us feel truly cared for. Their positive energy and pride in what they do completely elevated the experience. The resort itself is beautiful, relaxing, and exactly what you want from an Isla Mujeres escape—but it’s the people who make it special. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our return. If you’re considering staying here, do it—you’ll be treated like family from start to finish.

Our stay at Almare Luxury Resort was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the service was splendid, with staff going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The 24-hour room service was especially impressive and incredibly convenient, and the food truck on site was a fun and tasty option that we ended up enjoying more than once. The servers and bartenders deserve a special mention as they were always very kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which made the experience feel warm and personal rather than overly formal. The atmosphere of the resort is calm and refined, perfect for unwinding. The view is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking sights of the ocean and crystal-clear water right at the beach. Spending time by the water felt peaceful and refreshing, and it was easy to disconnect and fully relax. This resort is definitely ideal for people looking for rest and relaxation, not for those seeking a party scene. We also enjoyed some memorable activities during our stay, including scuba diving, which allowed us to explore the beautiful marine life, and driving around town in a golf cart, a fun and easy way to discover Isla Mujeres at our own pace. The only downside of our experience was the limited selection on the restaurant’s menu. While the food wasn't bad, we hugely preferred the food truck options, and overall having more variety would have made dining on-site better.

Almare is the definition of luxury!!! This was one of the best experiences we've ever had at an all inclusive resort. First, we need to acknowledge how amazing the staff was. The service was incredible throughout our entire stay and they were so attentive. Every single day we looked forward to seeing Karen, Alejandro, Claudia and Edgar at the beach beds/beach bar. They were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, so attentive, we never had an empty drink (lol!) and we can't wait to go back and see them. Noe and Emiliano at the front desk /concierge were also so helpful with every question we had and always did their best to find solutions quickly. Eddy, Laura, and Alan were also THE BEST!!! The amenities are top tier, loved the spa treatment, even though it was pricey it was worth every single dollar, especially being able to use the hydrotherapy services after. We also loved the food offerings, especially at the rooftop restaurant Seasalt. Definitely looking forward to our return as this ticked all of our boxes. Our only call-outs would be the music... would love to have more a vibe going on throughout. The music from the neighbouring resorts/beach clubs helped during the day but at night, would love to have something more upbeat, especially at the Lobby Bar!! Otherwise, 10/10... can't wait to go back.

Not a fan. Felt more like a hotel stay than an all inclusive resort. Our group of over 200 people reserved the entire resort, I would be surprised if any from our group return. Many ordered take out or pizza from town, as food options were limited, and always cold or room temp, many got ill while here. A call to room service said "we do not provide room service", there is a button on the phone and a room service menu in the room! Staff was friendly and always noticed an empty drink, however they would take 20-30 minutes to return. Most in our group left the resort daily only to return at night because there is literally nothing to do. There was not even music at the pool bar. We reserved a golf cart for 24 hours and our reservation was given away. There were thefts on the ferry dock, and from luggage in a room, another had to fight a $2000 charge on their credit card from the resort at checkout. Water pressure in the shower is minimal. Mini fridge poorly stocked:1 diet Pepsi, 1 -7 up, 2 waters, and 2 beers. (no liquor or wine in the room like other resorts) Our fridge was not cold, maintenance took a look, put a thermometer in, took a picture and left, that was all we heard about it. To get ice you have to fill your bucket at a bar, which has irregular hours and if you needed ice after 9pm you may be out of luck if the bar decided to close. The hours bars and the 2 restaurants advertised did not match the hours they were actually open, and they were random each day. A sandwich from the coffee shop - Mayo with cheese and a piece of lettuce, not even a full piece of cheese. We did find a small package of skittles and gummy worms for the snack in our room when we arrived. Positives: Staff was friendly, resort and rooms were clean, the views are spectacular. There is plenty of shade available, and we never had to struggle to find a spot by the pool or beach to sit or find shade. The outdoor furniture was the best we had at any resort we have ever visited, nice, comfy and clean cushions, and the heavy duty towels were nice and absorbent. The drinks were well made and mostly consistent. Most resorts give a plastic bracelet like you are at a county fair and you have to keep track of your room key. This resort had a nicer bracelet that also functioned as a room key, which we appreciated. HUGE POSITIVE: we did not smell marijuana a single time at this resort, which is a very nice change. Overall this resort had a lot of false advertising. We would not consider our experience a luxury or culinary experience, there was entertainment only 1 night on the beach, it was a nice 20 minute fire show, even though the website says nightly entertainment. It seemed as if they were not prepared for the resort to be filled with visitors. The resort had a very solemn vibe, we are used to an upbeat resort that encourages socializing and fun. If you are looking for a quiet get away to sit deep in thought and meditate this maybe the resort for you, its just not what we look for in our vacation.

Outstanding! I have been to Cancun area many times over the years. I would say this has been the best experience! White glove service from airport to resort and back. The staff is truly professional, friendly and personal. You are a friend from the moment you arrive. All the meals coffee and drinks have been top notch. From the simple to complex of dishes the food has an amazing fresh flavor. So many activities I was unable to participate in half of them. Something for everyone.
