This place is magical. A WOW effect. The Staff goes above and beyond to cater to your needs. Rooms are comfortable, great size and super clean. The only downside was the food- quite average for a hotel of this standard. And fresh local produce is not put forward.There are olive trees everywhere, they produce their own olive oil. We had to ask to taste. There are herbs. Villages around have pomegranate trees, grow cherry tomatoes, goats, sheep, donkeys...Any milk, cheese, yogurt they produce? The menu should reflect the area’s rich local produce, which would have elevated the Alila experience and given guests a real taste of the region.

The staff are genuinely kind and attentive, always ready to help without being intrusive. My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, and the team went above and beyond with the most beautiful welcome decoration! The bathroom and tub were stunning, and our suite had a gorgeous cliff view with a huge terrace to relax on. The stargazing experience was a highlight, with a professional telescope that let us truly see the stars. Breakfast was also lovely. Driving up the mountain wasn’t as scary as expected — if you’re comfortable with mountain driving, it’s very manageable. Just be cautious, as some sections have pretty steep uphills. The only downside was that the restaurant menu doesn’t include the 22% taxes in the listed prices. Other than that, a magical and memorable stay.
