It's a nice resort! Rooms are amazing, pools are very nice, location is good (though not near any ATMs, FYI, so stock up elsewhere if you want to hang out at a cash-only beach shack). In-house restaurants were pretty mixed. We liked the breakfast (lots of variety and good South Indian options), but the service for lunch/dinner was insanely overbearing - every time we started serving ourselves from our shared dishes, they'd rush over and offer to help. Like, do you think I'm five years old? I can serve myself. Why would you run over, ask me where I want you to serve my curry, then slowly, painstakingly, spoon some of it onto my plate, when I could just serve it myself wherever I see fit? Leave me alone! The restaurants also have zero atmosphere whatsoever and they're very expensive. Food is fine but not exceptional. I would recommend just staying here for the rooms/property and eating elsewhere. Martin's Corner is nearby and serves very good Goan food. Oh, and stay away from the salon services if you don't have Indian hair - they seemed to have zero idea how to deal with my partner's hair and ended up botching her haircut.

We had a wonderful stay at Alila Diwa Goa! Everything about the experience was excellent – the spacious and comfortable rooms, the delicious food, the beautiful pool, and above all, the warm hospitality. The staff here truly go the extra mile to make guests feel special. A special mention to Mr. Sourav and the front office team, who were extremely courteous, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. What impressed us most was their thoughtfulness – we casually mentioned an item during lunch which wasn’t on the menu, and to our surprise, the team specially prepared it for us at dinner. This gesture truly reflected their commitment to guest satisfaction. The combination of a relaxing environment, great amenities, and such a caring staff made our holiday memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect Goan getaway!

Alila Diwa Goa is one of the most exceptional luxury resorts we’ve ever stayed at in Goa. From the very start, the excellent service and warm hospitality made us feel like it was truly a home away from home. The staff are remarkably courteous, professional, and attentive, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with large washrooms and top-tier amenities that reflect true luxury living. Everything here breathes comfort and elegance. Dining at Alila Diwa is an unforgettable experience with three outstanding restaurants. Vivo offers a lavish spread of global and Indian dishes with wide variety. Spice Studio celebrates authentic Goan and Southern flavors, while the Edge Pool Side Bar and Restaurant is the ideal spot for delicious meals and refreshing drinks by the poolside. The culinary offerings are remarkable — from Goan specialties and South Indian favorites to North Indian classics and Continental delights, with both rich vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.A special mention to the amazing team who created a real “Wow” moment for us. Soumen, Saurabh, Mohit, Payal, and Meenakshi from F&B, Christopher from the Front Office, and Veronica from the Kitchen went above and beyond to ensure our experience was memorable. They truly deserve a big pat on the back 😊. If you’re searching for a luxurious yet warm getaway in Goa with world-class service, spotless rooms, and gourmet experiences, then Alila Diwa Goa is the ultimate destination.

The overall ambience of the place is good. The food is superb and they serve large variety and the staff is very helpful and cordial. The property is about a km away from the beach but they have carts ready to take you to the beach almost instantly. The rooms are spacious and clean and the toilets are top notch. Location is a bit out of the city but you will love it for its quiet environment. The beach is full of stray dogs and you should be aware of them. You can catch the local fishermen go fishing and photograph the whole process while at the beach in the early morning. The property has good number of rooms and can be used for corporate accommodation. I stayed there for three nights last weekend and the experience was soothing and relaxing.

Beautiful boutique holiday spot, we stayed in the small private resort part of the Alila which was perfect and exactly the p&q we wanted. The rooms were lovely but some of the finishing touches left a lot to be desired, could use a refresh. Our balcony was lovely to sit on but sadly there was maintenance work going on directly outside making it less private and serene. The food options between 4-5 and canapés between 6-7 were beautiful bites to try, nothing was too much trouble. Also got to try some lovely Indian wine and local Feni alcohol. Breakfast had multiple a la carte choices from local to international. As we were only there 1 night I was able to choose multiple and thankfully that wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend trying one of the lassi drinks. We chose this hotel as Uber doesn’t work in Goa making it harder/more expensive to get around by traditional taxi and the Alila offered free round trip airport shuttle from GOI. There was also no trouble rearranging our transfer last minute due to us missing our flight because of delays and we communicated via WhatsApp. Overall a lovely stay, ideally would have liked some day tour options provided to us but these weren’t discussed or offered.
