It says that the hotel has 5 stars, but that hotel is not even for 3 stars.
The hotel is terribly neglected, and if you look closely, it's not even a hotel, but a settlement in the hill.
ROOMS:
The rooms need renovation. In the semi-luxury apartment, the air conditioner is leaking, the telephone is not working, the door is creaking, the door is worn out...
FOOD:
The food is better in the student canteen. For example, the fish is DEFROSTED and tastes terrible... For the price they offer (and it's not cheap, 4000 euros half board for 14 nights), the food should be much better.
STAFF:
Very capable and professional.
MANAGEMENT:
I have never seen greater amateurism. For every 100 beds, they have one man who works and serves. Nobody comes for you, you come for the waiter.
The same applies to an Albanian who works as a technician for 800 buildings, buggies and all other jobs.
BEACH:
The sand is too dirty, the sunbeds are falling apart, the fast food is overpriced.

The worst 5star hotel I have ever been. No animation, live music was canceled because of football game, every day food was one and the same. Would mot recommend to anyone. I would rate the hotel as max 3 star.

Disappointing Stay at Alexandros – Not Worth the 5-Star Rating
I recently stayed at Alexandros for a week in the first week of July, and I must say, it was a highly disappointing experience. Despite being advertised as a 5-star hotel, I wouldn't even rate it 3 stars.
**Room Quality:** The rooms were significantly below average. They were small, had an unpleasant smell, and the safe box required an actual key – are we still in the Middle Ages? This kind of inconvenience is unacceptable for a supposed 5-star hotel.
**Staff Response:** When I raised these issues, the staff's response was lackluster. They "tried" to address the problems but didn't seem genuinely interested in improving our stay.
**Cleanliness:** To their credit, the rooms were clean, which is one of the few positives I can mention.
**Amenities:** The Wi-Fi in the room was either bad or non-existent, which made it extremely difficult to stay connected. The spa was out of service, and the gym was in a very inconvenient location.
**Hotel Condition:** The hotel's overall condition was fine for a 3 or 4 star not 5 star, and it had a good position, although not too close to the beach.
**Dining:** The food was average at best. The menu was repetitive, with the same options almost every day, and there wasn't a wide variety to choose from. This made dining at the hotel quite monotonous.
**Comparison to Other Stays:** Having stayed at numerous 5-star hotels before, I can confidently say that Alexandros doesn't come close to meeting those standards. It felt more like a 3-star experience, which was far below my expectations.

A Super wonderful hotel with a super relaxing and nice staff! We were (the family of 4)placed in a huge modern room with a garden view, which i think is much better than the rooms next to the pool (the cleaning lady did the excellent job every day). The food was really really good, and the staff at the restaurant were very patient and kind, especially two older gentlemen (seemed like kitchen/restr.chiefs) who were taking care of everything during our breakfast and dinner time (btw, pumpkin soup was the best!) The hotel pool and the beach is also great, the water in the pool is warm and clean and the same goes for the sea on the beach. The internet is more than perfect in the whole hotel resort and on the beach as well, which is not the case in most greek hotels. When we compare our stay at Porto Carras resort which was more expensive than here,we would always recommend the Alexandros Palace hotel for all the things I mentioned above, but mostly for the wonderful energy the hotel has.. This was our first time here but we will come back for sure🐠 thank you!
