All the staff is extremely friendly. They took care of us so we felt like home. They have an eye and feeling for the smallest details. The golf arrangement we had was awesome! The restaurants and food are of high quality and what a variety! The service at the breakfast is amazing and very efficient. We loved the welcome drink by the management on Thursday very much.

We have booked 4 rooms for all our family, 7 adults and 4 kids, for a week, and it was really wonderful !! 2 rooms were connected by an internal door, all clean and shine. They clean day and night and attentive to any request 24/7. There is kids club with kids keepers, lot’s of activities and toys, so the kids were really happy and had a good time there, as well as in the internal warm pool. The gym is as well a good one. The food was gorgeous and for the dinner it was a different menu every evening, and we loved all. The location on the beach and so close to the center is a real benefit too. Management and staff are really attentive and responsive so quickly to which we were grateful. We do not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel as 5 shining stars! Thank you all, including the reservation manager, Elena, which assisted us so much!

Sadly, my reviews for a family visiting Alexander the Great hotel, don't compare with those reviews previous to mine. However, maybe a consideration for a family visiting Paphos and thinking this is the hotel for them... I came in with high expectations as per these reviews. As a family of 5, with 3 children under 6 years old, we were a little let down with how the team and the hotel handled families. Understandably the hotel is working to cater for all needs, however, as a guest with a family, it felt very much like families were the 'inferior' guests. Some of the areas for improvement: - Making the kids club more inclusive of all children (not just those more independent and confident in nature - this comment is specific to policies rather than the level of support provided by the staff)- Food quality was poor. Lots of 'left over' dinner food that was being reused for breakfast. A great initiative to reuse food, just maybe not for the customers paying €350- plus per night.- Have some administrative staff a little more receptive to feedback. Due to the hotel being how it presented to us, we requested a refund for the last night (to which the hotel kindly agreed to). However, during the process, we were told I may have to wait 24 hours to have a manager confirm a refund. When I questioned the hotel having a second in charge to make those decisions for a prompt response, I was met with a defensive and passive aggressive response - "Our managers entitled to a day off aren't they?!" (Maybe this works two ways however and my consideration was out of line...) Overall, for couples, the hotel would be a lovely option. For families, my opinion is its not the right hotel.

Such friendly staff, glorious food. I would highly recommend this hotel. The pool is amazing, the staff can’t do enough for you I hope I can go back one day It was a very special week with my daughter and grandson

Very nice hotel, food good and always hot, staff very friendly and always polite. Elena stood out to us in the restaurants, always working hard and pleasant. Pool area very good and clean, food and drink ordering via the QR code was great. Rooms always clean and tidy. All in all a great hotel.
