We have booked 4 rooms for all our family, 7 adults and 4 kids, for a week, and it was really wonderful !! 2 rooms were connected by an internal door, all clean and shine. They clean day and night and attentive to any request 24/7. There is kids club with kids keepers, lot’s of activities and toys, so the kids were really happy and had a good time there, as well as in the internal warm pool. The gym is as well a good one. The food was gorgeous and for the dinner it was a different menu every evening, and we loved all. The location on the beach and so close to the center is a real benefit too. Management and staff are really attentive and responsive so quickly to which we were grateful. We do not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel as 5 shining stars! Thank you all, including the reservation manager, Elena, which assisted us so much!

I originally booked my trip to Paphos as a last minute solo holiday. Having never been to Cyprus before, I was keen to find somewhere that seemed safe for a female solo traveller and the reviews for Alexander the Great made it feel like the right choice for me. In the end, my sister decided she wanted to tag along so I added her onto the booking and what an amazing time we had! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by a porter who took our luggage and then we were quickly checked in and given a welcome drink. The porter then showed us to our room, whilst giving us a brief tour of the facilities. We stayed in Room 45 which was one of the cabana rooms with private plunge pool and we were absolutely delighted with it. While the room itself wasn't the largest, it was more than enough space for the two of us. The bed was huge and there was plenty of wardrobe storage for our clothes. The bathroom was a great size with a whirlpool bath, large walk in shower and plenty of toiletries were provided plus huge towels, slippers and robes. Everything was spotless and housekeeping did a great job every day - including bringing us chocolates in the evening! Outside our room we had comfy sun loungers, plus a stunning sea view (with Paphos Castle visible in the distance!) and it was facing the serenity pool in the adults only area. Sunbeds are allocated to guests and there are QR codes attached so you can order poolside drinks as you wish, but they also have super attentive staff who will come and take drinks orders also. The flavoured ice teas and caramel iced lattes are lush (for those like me who don't drink alcohol!) Food wise, the buffets were great and had plenty of choice. Breakfast was lovely, we also tried room service one day which was brilliant and we also ate at the Greek, Italian and Asian restaurants which were delicious. I also visited the spa on one day and had the Tension Release treatment which was a full body scrub, mask and massage and my massage therapist was amazing. I'd highly recommend it! The hotel location is also absolutely perfect. It's only a short walk to visit Paphos Castle and local shops/bars/restaurants and there's a mall nearby plus various tombs/catacombs etc. depending on what you like to do. As the hotel is right on the beachfront, it's really easy to walk around and find everything. Overall, I was so happy with Alexander the Great and will definitely be back again soon! I'd also be more than happy to visit again solo as I really did feel safe and looked after by the whole team. Thank you!

We were very pleased with this Hotel, so much so we will be booking again next year if they have the availability when we are able to go. The staff & service by all was great. The location was only a short walk to the centre and the room was great & comfortable. The food was good & plenty of choice, the Italian Al la Carte was fantastic 👌 😋 😀 Overall a great Hotel.

I had an unforgettable stay! Upon check-in, we received welcome drinks, and the hotel surprised me with a free upgrade to a "sea facing" room with a private pool. The staff were super friendly and attentive – one even brought me chocolates on my last day! The heated pool was perfect for winter, and the hotel is right by the beach with stunning views, plus it's walking distance to the town center. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and thoughtful details like two types of pillows made my stay extra comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for its great service, location, and amenities!

Cyprus Muska is freely available on street shops. Unfortunately not in the hotel. For Vegetarians it is better to just book breakfast only. We learnt that for vegetarian meals one has to order these well in advance - however there is no vegetarian menu given or told about. Catch 22 situation. The stay was pleasurable apart from not getting Vegetarian meals at par - reminds of Colonialism and a Colonial rule!
