Don’t waste your money. Dirty, over crowded and poorly located. From the moment we got there the reps and activity sellers told us never to come back, it’s a terrible resort and not a great area. This came to be true. The room was ok though not particularly clean. The food was very disappointing and bland, it clearly sat out unattended for hours and was reused. It’s not safe for children as there’s absolutely no health and safety management! Right next to the kids area is an open gate onto a worksite and an open door into what was once an indoor pool that now lays empty with a loose net covering and a rooms that pilled high with storage. The male staff that tended the only outdoor bar are rude and unprofessional, they will flirt with you in the slimiest way. The coffee machine at said bar smells like foul milk and rot, which means anywhere in a 5 meter radius is unbearable. You can tell this has never been cleaned. The best thing about this hotel is the Turkish spa and the treatments you receive, which are lovely. Though when we stayed there was an incident with a strange Turkish man who urinated in the sauna and was walking around the spa when we received our treatments making me very uncomfortable and the staff had little intention to intervene. The pool is quite nice too but it’s massive and again, there is only 1 bar and 1 person at a time serving. There’s no poolside/table service and if you want anything other that the 1 beer or 2 premixed “cocktails” you had to pay. Though they spoke little English to asking what they have/can make is futile. There’s not a menu/drinks list in sight so it’s all a guessing game and you get a tiny plastic cup that last about 4 sips after all the effort. Not exactly “all inclusive”. I will not return and advise any western travels with standards to avoid. It’s cheap but not cheap enough to warrant the quality.

I was afraid to choose this hotel because of the reviews. But in the end I chose him and didn't regret it. I'm also picky when it comes to hotels, so I still don't understand why there are such bad reviews. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is nice. Everywhere is clean, because they are constantly cleaning (men) in and around the hotel. The rooms are spacious. As for the cleaners (women), they are willing to clean nicely only for a tringelt. I was disappointed by the food, because it happened several times that it was cold. There is a selection, but the dishes are often repeated. Overall, I am satisfied and would like to come back.

I was a little disappointed with the hotel. The rooms are ok but not enough lighting in the rooms to get ready properly. Does need a major update and clean as I found a lot of hair tangled to the bed stands. The corridors leading to the rooms have very low lights sometimes you have to use your own phone torch to guide you the way and the lifts are such a pain doesn’t come efficiently- The food was the most disappointing not enough variety seems like there’s loads but it’s just for the presentation. The food needs a little more seasoning otherwise you just tend to eat chips the whole entire time. If you’re looking to be a tourist best not to stay here as theres not a lot to do in the area your pretty far from the main city. It’s very quiet and has minimum shops or markets. Wi-Fi in the lobby is a pain - you can purchase Wi-Fi to your room but who wants to stay in their room. I’ll end on a positive note the pool area is nice and lively - great music and they have daily activities or games in the pool. Staff are friendly and nice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at this hotel. Other reviews moaned about grumpy staff but some smiled and some didn't, so what they are there to work! And as for moaning about going to the spa for pool towels...get over yourselves. The pools were fantastic though. But for a 5 star hotel to only have one local beer in small plastic cups is not on, especially the plastic wastage. The food was ok but definitely not aimed at Brits, more locals and eastern europeans. The hotel itself was clean and very pretty. Rooms were very spacious.

From the moment we arrived, the problems began. The security personnel lacked English proficiency and directed us to an insecure parking area, causing concern for the safety of our vehicle. Upon reaching the check-in counter, we endured an excruciating two-hour wait, only to be assigned a room that was located on the opposite end of the massive hotel complex, without any assistance in carrying our heavy luggage. To make matters worse, only half of the elevators were operational, leading to frustratingly long waits. The functioning elevators were often unclean and emitted foul odors, which was unpleasant. The entire hotel seemed to be in a state of disarray, with drink spillages creating sticky floors and unlit corridors, creating a rather unsettling atmosphere. Our group of 19 family members faced a mix-up in room allocations, causing further inconvenience. Upon entering our assigned room, we encountered unsanitary conditions, with yellow stains on the toilet seat and leftover food debris around the sink. We were forced to request room changes multiple times before receiving one that met basic hygiene standards. To make matters worse, our balcony was infested with ants, making outdoor relaxation impossible. We endured this annoyance without any assistance or resolution from the hotel staff. And to add insult to injury, once the toilet roll ran out, they did not provide us with replacements for the entire week of our stay, leaving us in an utterly uncomfortable situation. Throughout our stay, the pervasive, unpleasant odor throughout the hotel premises was unsettling. The swimming pool areas were slippery and unsafe, posing risks to guests. On the third day, our air conditioning ceased to function during sweltering temperatures, and despite multiple complaints to the reception, the issue was not addressed promptly, causing discomfort and health concerns. The quality of food was subpar, with the appearance of reheated leftovers during meal times. Additionally, our rooms were cleaned only once during our stay, and room service failed to provide fresh towels or change bed sheets, even upon request. Moreover, prior to the receptionist's assault, the hotel manager, a woman, physically assaulted my wife by throwing a pen directly at her face during the confrontation. It was a highly aggressive and dangerous act that put my wife's safety at great risk and added another layer of distress to the already horrifying situation. In that harrowing and terrifying moment, I was gripped by an overwhelming sense of dread and believed that entering that room, accompanied by an assailant wielding a shoe as a weapon, could result in grave harm or even worse. It was a distressing ordeal that no guest should ever have to endure, especially in a foreign country where we felt utterly vulnerable and unsafe. Regrettably, the local police, who were eventually summoned to the scene, failed to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation. This left us feeling abandoned and helpless, with our safety and well-being blatantly disregarded. This entire experience has left my family and me deeply traumatized and profoundly disappointed. We entrusted Thomas Cook to provide us with a safe and enjoyable vacation, but the conditions and the appalling treatment we encountered at Xafira Deluxe Resort & Spa were far from acceptable. The woman I the picture who was meant to be a manager was the lady who attacked wife with a pen.
