I had a truly wonderful stay at Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa in Abu Dhabi. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Azim handled our check-in with a calm, courteous voice and remarkable kindness. Even after our checkout, his thoughtful attention made a lasting impression. Eko, who assisted us with luggage and buggy rides throughout the resort, was also incredibly friendly and helpful. We truly appreciated his support. Special thanks to David as well — he was enthusiastic and patient while teaching our child how to ride the FlowRider, making the experience all the more memorable. The sunset views were breathtaking, and the spa facilities were excellent — a perfect place to unwind and relax. While the breakfast was a bit minimal and could be improved, the dinner at the Italian restaurant was a highlight. The dishes were well-prepared with appropriate cooking times, precise plating, and ideal serving temperatures. The doneness of the meat was just right, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. Overall, this was a fantastic stay. Every detail, from the hospitality to the dining, made our desert retreat truly special.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, made even more memorable by the outstanding service we received. Manager Azim was incredibly welcoming and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout our visit. A big thank you as well to Sanka, our butler, whose attentive and warm service truly elevated our experience. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of — we couldn’t have asked for more. A lot of bees and lizards due to the area cause inconvenient to stay at the pool on our room. Also the breakfast needs to have more variety. Room service food is too expensive.

Warm welcome with chilled apple juice upon arrival — a lovely touch. Despite being just a Gold member, I was treated with full recognition and upgraded to a desert view room. The young staff who showed us to the room was attentive and explained everything clearly. Dining was excellent, with both the server and manager showing great care and warmth. The hotel design blends traditional Arabian charm with modern luxury beautifully. Just note that the location is remote — it’s best to pre-arrange taxis with the front desk. A peaceful, well-run desert retreat.
