My husband and I went for a 3 night stay at Al Maha and could not be more satisfied with the hotel, the customer service, and the overall experience. The room was very nice with a lovely view and quite large pool. However, the best part were the animals. the gazelle and oryx roam free around the resort and we saw many come right up to the pool. Astonishing. The restaurant, however, is the true gem of this hotel. With its new head chef and newly revamped menu, the food is wonderful. We were there on a full board stay, and we could not have eaten more amazing food if we tried. If you are a vegetarian, I highly recommend the cauliflower steak. Many places have this dish, but none taste like this. During our stay we decided to get room service, and after a series of mishaps (waiting too long and getting sub par food at that), I went and spoke with the hotel manager AND the food and beverage manager. Some hotels apologize when things go wrong, but this resort and its staff went above and beyond. They explained the situation yes (new menu in the restaurant but that room service had not been revamped yet), but went out of their way to rectify it all by giving us a very good lunch in our room with no surcharge and a free bottle of sparkling wine as well. I cannot say enough about the customer service at this resort. They understand how to treat their guests well, and I will be forever grateful. It was a wonderful stay and I would recommend this resort to anyone.

Al Maha is a magical place—beautiful and endlessly fascinating! The service there is outstanding; everyone is so friendly and helpful, and they go above and beyond to ensure you feel completely at ease! We have never experienced anything like this anywhere else in the world! From the incredibly warm welcome, to the many "extras" and the fact that we were given our preferred villa, right through to the fantastic food—everything was perfect! Rafique, in particular, took exceptional care of us! Outstanding service!!! Thank you so very much!!! This place casts a spell on you from the very first minute. The gazelles, the oryx antelopes, the many different birds, and so much more—it is truly enchanting. The activities are all wonderful as well; we especially loved the sunset camel ride! Al Maha feels like a second home to us, and we can hardly wait to return!!! Thank you, Mr. Mohamed Mansour, for your kind email correspondence, your warm welcome, and your attentiveness! I took my partner here for his birthday and it was such a special time! From the moment we arrived we were graciously greeted and welcomed so kindly by Roshan and started our vacation off perfectly. He even gave him a surprise at dinner for his birthday! It was unbelievably thoughtful and delicious. The villa was gorgeous and a the perfect getaway we needed from the city. So private, serene and exciting being in nature in the middle of the desert. We could see the wildlife from every angle. So refreshing. The food at the restaurant was exceptional at every meal and with full board we got so much high-quality food with each seating. I also have to shout at Gita at Al Diwaan, she was so so sweet and attentive at our breakfast and lunch seatings and took such good care of us and our requests! The spa experience was also wonderful, I didn’t want to leave! The only negative part of the entire experience was that there were a lot of flies which is just the nature of being surrounded by beauty and wildlife at all times, which is definitely what we call in our family a “champagne problem” and should definitely not deter anyone from enjoying the amazing amenities, experiences and facilities of Al Maha Resort. I can’t want to go back!

Our stay at Al Maha was truly magical and exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, everything felt perfectly curated for comfort, privacy, and a unique desert experience. The staff were exceptionally professional, attentive, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even expressed them. This level of service made the entire stay feel effortless and deeply relaxing. The activities were a highlight of the trip. I would especially recommend the camel trekking experience - it’s a peaceful and authentic way to explore the desert landscape. The falcon show was equally impressive, offering a fascinating glimpse into local heritage and traditions. Overall, it was an unforgettable escape, and we are already looking forward to come back ❤️

We did not stay at the hotel, we only ENJOY the full spa day with a 3 courses lunch and the infinity pool. The service was nice and so polite, food/restaurant for lunch was amazing and so tasteful. The pool has a crazy desert view with wildlife coming to us. Spa was really nice and so well equipped. We asked to visit one of the villas and they nicely accept. I dreamed of having a stay there now. Do not hesitate to go end enjoy their Spa-cation. Other details: they transport you through the resort via buggy, gym is well equipped, sunscreen at disposal, small boutique of souvenir, the 20min dust road to arrive to the resort is fun.
