Describing this place as incredible is an understatement! There are so many amazing hotels and resorts in the UAE, but after a weekend trip to Al Maha, it easily takes the top spot. Everything from the location, the room, the views, the wildlife, the vibe, the food is beautiful. A special shout-out to all the staff. They elevate an already amazing hotel into something more and it was unforgettable experience thanks to them. Extremely friendly, attentive and helpful...it might be the best service I've experienced anywhere we felt so well looked after. I don't often say this about hotels (because they are so many to experience), but we will definitely be going back. 10/10.

If someone asked me to describe Al Maha in a single word, it would be sanctuary. My personal little island of calm and purity in a chaotic world – a place where nature allows us to interact with it in the most unique and unexpected way. This place isn’t about luxury or curated experiences in the first place – it’s about the unpredictable harmony between nature and us, humans. That said, the luxury, service, and pricing are exactly where they should be. A green oasis in the heart of the desert, Al Maha transports you to another reality. It’s an experience I highly recommend trying at least once. You’ll understand what I mean the moment you arrive – and then you’ll find yourself coming back again and again. As a returning guest who has spent numerous nights here across different seasons – both winter and summer – I can only express my deepest gratitude to every member of the team, who consistently go above and beyond to accommodate my every request. There have been many requests – one of the most recent was the organization of my birthday dinner in the desert, arranged on the shortest notice: just a couple of hours instead of the usual 24. Looking forward to my next stay, Alex

Great location and views- it is in the desert, plenty of wildlife like gazelles and oryxes to observe. The hotel has good service as can be expected at a well-run 5 star hotel. The property has Bedouin-themed ambience. Under 8 children aren’t allowed, so fantastic option for a quiet weekend since it’s just an hour’s drive from Dubai city.

From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The resort itself is breathtaking, offering stunning views of the desert landscape and luxurious accommodations. The private villas were beautifully designed, providing the perfect mix of comfort and elegance. The spa treatments were relaxing, and the dining experience was top-notch with delicious, high-quality food. If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat in the heart of the desert, Al Maha is the perfect destination. Highly recommended!

I normally don’t give reviews. But we just left this hotel today and had such a good experience that I absolutely have to! This is one of the rare hotels in today’s world where they ensure that you have the very best experience. Rooms are very well maintained. The private villas gave us an amazing view of the dessert. We really enjoyed sitting on the pool deck and having our coffee in the morning. Most of the people there have worked there for a long time. Several went out of their way to cater to my husband’s vegetarian restrictions. Joel, Anjal, Remy, Chandra, Swarnali were all extremely attentive and made our dining experience one of the best we’ve had. Mansour was also excellent with follow up and ensuring that our stay was perfect. The restaurant’s manager Prakash was very knowledgeable and the Exec Chef Piotr went over and above to print out recipes for me. And each recipe he printed was so tastefully done with pictures. The food is excellent and it’s a very laid back atmosphere so one ends up having a 3 hr dinner. We enjoyed our sand dune excursion with Rose who was very knowledgeable. All in all, I was a bit skeptical before we got there as I’ve never stayed in a hotel that’s part of a nature conservation program. But this Hôtel surpassed all my expectations. They excel at customer service and this was definitely one of the best stays we’ve had within the Marriott group.
