Aeolos Beach Resort

The Aeolos resort is a nice place to stay with family. They have 3 nice sized pools (not heated). Room sizes are fair. The food was a bit of a problem in our experience. Most days it was the same thing being repeated. The meat options were poor; most of the time it was pork or fish, not much chicken options. The food was dry and lacked flavour, it was either overly salted or just bland. The range was decent, lunch and dinner options in the main food area were pretty much the same. There were pizzas, pastas and burger huts during the day. Pizza and pasta options were fair and looked tasty. The burgers were ridiculously small & were dry, the chips again had no flavour. A lot of the time I noticed plates and glasses were still dirty, specs of dirt, not horrible but not what you want to see when you pay a price and it's supposed to be a good service. The pools and space of the resort is what brings the review back up to speed. The pools are a good size & spread out over the resort. There was a good amount of bars as well. We were all inclusive so made the most of the drinks, however, as resorts do, it was mostly cheap alcohol so it didn't have much affect if you're looking to get a little tispy 😵‍💫 In all fairness they did have some branded booze, captain morgans white rum, baileys, martini is what we can remember. The rooms were a good size, bed was hard but we still found it comfortable. There was a large ceiling fan and ac in the room which was much needed. The bathroom was very small; the bathtub itself being tiny. It is definitely worth paying a little more for the sea view room and up. Seems the resort is expanding or updating as some new rooms were being built. Overall we would give the resort a 3. Not sure where people get a 4 or a 5 from, I guess many are easily impressed. For flights, all inclusive & transfers we paid around £700 each - this was for a Sunday to Thursday.

The resort is nice, the pool has amazing view and the beach is very quiet. The rooms are big, cozy and clean. The food included in the all inclusive was not good at all, seemed like they just boiled together everything that they had in the fridge. Almost no sea food, but a lot of junk food-pizza, pasta, French fries. The beverages…just don’t try them 😀 only the beer tastes like beer. The cocktails have the same taste, but different color.

Jacob and the Entertainment staff were so nice to the kids and offered lots of fun games every day. We especially loved their Show Time evening show.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this hotel. What was supposed to be a peaceful and relaxing vacation turned into a real nightmare. Things reached a peak one evening when, as I was sitting on the balcony trying to enjoy some peace, I was literally bitten by a rat. Yes, a rat! I felt a sharp pain in my leg, and when I looked down, I saw it scurrying away in fear. I went straight to the reception, and when I asked to speak with the manager, I was met with unbelievable arrogance. He tried to convince me that what bit me was not a rat but just a simple squirrel. Obviously, that was not the case. To make things worse, the staff, along with the manager, started laughing at me and telling me that I was just imagining things. When I raised my voice and showed them the visible bite mark, they started stammering and told me they were doing me a favor by allowing me to be taken to a clinic at the hotel's expense for tests. So, during a vacation for which I paid a considerable amount, I had to leave my wife and child crying to be tested for various diseases. When I returned, they offered me another room, much higher up (be aware, the hotel is located on some hills, and it’s a long walk up ramps to get back to the room). I politely refused; I only had two nights left of my stay, and I could bear with it. But more importantly, I wanted to prove their shamelessness. So, the next evening, I returned to the reception with clear videos and photos of the rat that left deep marks on my skin. They admitted that yes, it could be a rat, but then shrugged and said, "Well, the hotel has trees, and we must understand that nature follows its course." As if that wasn’t bad enough, every evening after 6:00 PM, a hotel employee would patrol the area on an old motorcycle designed to make a hellish noise. I found out from some of the other guests that this person was specifically paid to scare away the rats that roamed freely through the courtyard and even in the relaxation areas. Apparently, the problem was not new at all, and the employees admitted that the hotel was, for the most part, infested with rats. The entire experience was a complete disaster, and the manager’s attitude made everything ten times worse. Instead of taking responsibility and trying to solve the problem, he chose to lie to my face shamelessly. The fact that a hotel that claims to offer comfort and relaxation leaves its guests exposed to such risks is absolutely unacceptable. If you’re considering booking a room here, I strongly recommend avoiding it at all costs. Not only does the hotel have a rat infestation problem, but the management is utterly disrespectful and unprofessional. Stay away from this place at all costs! I am attaching the footage where you can clearly see the hotel's logo as well as the rat roaming freely on the balcony, even attempting to enter the room PS - unfortunately I can't respond to the claims coming from the hotel, a hotel that keeps telling me about squirrels and chameleons despite the images. Because I can't upload larger images and clips, I ask everyone interested to write to me privately. And there I will send them clips of the rat entering my room, but also the images of the motorcyclist walking around every evening and making noise. No, it's not imagination, it's just a lack of respect from the hotel and an unimaginable treatment of a human being
