Sky Views Observatory is definitely worth visiting, especially for the amazing views from the top. You get fantastic panoramic sights of Downtown Dubai, including the Burj Khalifa and the surrounding skyline. My ticket included entry, a drink, a food item, the glass slide experience, and a souvenir, which made it feel like great value. The glass slide was fun and a unique highlight of the visit. The only downside was the long waiting time. There was only one staff member taking orders at the restaurant, which caused delays, and the wait for the glass slide was extremely long as well. Because of that, I’m deducting one star. Overall, it’s still a great experience and something I’d recommend when visiting Dubai.

The ticket costs 159 AED, and the package includes access to the glass slide, Sky Walk, one main dish at the restaurant, and one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). The glass slide is fun but very short. Unfortunately, no personal photography is allowed on the slide, and the photo taken by staff costs 25 USD, which feels quite overpriced. The Sky Walk experience itself is absolutely stunning — the views are breathtaking and truly worth seeing. However, one important downside: photography is not allowed in the most impressive area with the clean glass wall and floor (without pillars), even though this exact spot is heavily advertised and shown in all promotional materials. This was quite disappointing. The restaurant food is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are friendly and helpful, which definitely adds to the overall experience. There is also a more expensive package (around 500 AED) that allows access to the outdoor area. I didn’t choose this option, so I can’t comment on how it is. Overall: Amazing views and a beautiful Sky Walk experience, but strict photo restrictions and expensive photos reduce the overall value. Still worth visiting for the scenery.

Great views of Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa, and the glass slide is a fun bonus. The experience feels well-organized and the photo spots are fantastic. It does get crowded at peak times, and the slide is over pretty quickly, but overall it’s a solid experience and worth a visit for the skyline views.

If you are looking for the absolute best vantage point of the Burj Khalifa and the sprawling architecture of Downtown Dubai, Sky Views Observatory is hard to beat. However, while the skyline is world-class, the hospitality during my visit was anything but. The View: A Photographer’s Dream Let’s start with the positives. The observatory offers a breathtaking, bird's-eye perspective of the city. Being directly across from the Burj Khalifa allows for some of the most iconic photos you can capture in Dubai. Whether you are there for the glass slide or the walk, the visual experience is undeniably a "must-see." The Service: A Series of Unfortunate Encounters Unfortunately, the stunning views were overshadowed by a consistent lack of professionalism from the staff. For a major tourist attraction, the level of service was surprisingly cold and, at times, aggressive. The Arrival (Bag Deposit): The experience started on a sour note at the bag deposit counter. The staff member appeared visibly irritated, going as far as smacking the table when receiving a retrieval card. More concerning was the lack of care for personal property; our bag, which contained a bottle of wine, was carelessly dropped onto the shelf. A simple "thank you" upon collection was met with total silence. The Observatory Floor: The attitude didn't improve once inside. Staff at the photo printing booths were particularly abrasive, raising their voices at visitors. It was jarring to see such hostility in a space meant for leisure and tourism, especially when the guests—ourselves included—were being perfectly polite. The Silver Lining: The Restaurant The only saving grace in terms of hospitality was the restaurant staff. Despite the venue being incredibly busy, they remained professional, attentive, and most importantly, served with a smile. It was a stark contrast to the rest of the facility and showed that good service is possible even under pressure. The Verdict Sky Views Observatory is a victim of its own success. While the location is spectacular, it is being ruined by poorly trained staff who seem disinterested in—or even frustrated by—the presence of tourists. Advice to Management: Invest heavily in customer service training. A world-class view deserves world-class treatment. Would I recommend it? Only if you can ignore the service for the sake of the photo. If you value a welcoming atmosphere, you might find the experience more frustrating than it's worth.

An unforgettable experience! Edge Walk at Sky Views is an incredible adventure! We went in the afternoon without a reservation, and to our surprise, the waiting time was short – around 20 minutes. The walk along the edge was thrilling and the views were absolutely stunning! I felt completely safe the whole time. We were given phone cases, so we could take our own photos even though a professional photographer was with us. Buying the official photos is quite pricey (150 AED for one or 500 AED for all), but we decided to get them anyway. It’s something to keep in mind when planning your visit. The photos turned out great – although, honestly, our phone shots were even better 😉 Still, the photographer captured lovely pictures of me and my husband together, which made it totally worth it.
