Sunset villas are set in a peaceful location on the island with beach and sea right outside your villa.
We had stayed in a deluxe villa for 3 nights which was further from the sea and had more trees around it. Ali there was our cleaner who was very personable and efficient. We then were upgraded to the sunset villas (which had the view I thought we had booked).
Although 400 guests the place is very peaceful and not crowded at all. Snorkelling is a must and seeing the stingrays at the pier at night.
Other sports available ie kayaking and paddle boarding and if course a swimming pool with bar.
Food is amazing with every type of food you could wish for. The Indian restaurant has very flavoursome food which isn’t too spicy.
We went every night to the sunset bar where staff gave good service and there was often a couple of singers there with a good range if music.
Overall a wonderful island to escape to if you need some time to relax, enjoy good food and the sunshine.

Beautiful island with amazing beaches and wonderful marine life! Good all inclusive package - food was great. Accommodation was clean and functional - not necessarily the most luxurious but more than comfortable. Great family rooms and friendly staff.

First time in Maldives for our family of 4 and it's as beautiful as we had imagined. Efficient seaplane flight to the resort. Very welcoming staff. Room had an outdoor shower which was uniquely refreshing, shame though that they only cater for 3 beds which means our 7 year old had to share with us. Room cleaner was fantastic and very attentive and the same goes for the Kid's Club staff. General food and drink choices were good. Beaches and snorkelling was awesome. Only slight dissatisfaction is not being able to see the dolphins as our complementary cruise was delayed until the afternoon where they were nowhere to be seen. We did ask reception if there's a chance we can be booked to another morning trip but was instantly turned away even though having spoke to other guests the subsequent morning dolphin cruises weren't even fully subscribed.
Overall happy with Meedhupparu but ensure you try to go on a morning dolphin cruise as you will not been given a second chance.

A beautiful place to relax. A very peaceful environment where you can relax. We chose this island for our honeymoon and we don't regret it. Clean beaches, beautiful sand, very good food in restaurants. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. A small minus was the lack of cold water in the bathroom in the room. I hope we can return to this paradise in the future! Thank you!

We stayed in the villas on the North side of the island on the beach . Very peaceful easy access to the reef and amenities. Would highly recommend the spa, Dwi have a very good magical foot and head massage, it was so relaxing and you could choose the pressure and adjust throughout, if you wanted. Very kind and professional staff.
