Overall, a great stay and I recommend this resort. We were here to surf mostly but enjoyed lots of other aspects of the island. It was the staff that really made it though. Surfing - we are pretty beginner surfers, but still loved our experience here. We went out about 5 times to Ninjas - a five minute boat trip - it ranged from large (for us) to very small and from just the 4-5 surfers from our resort to 30+ from a variety of boats. It was pretty consistent and great fun pretty much the whole time. Lohis also looked great most days, and never had more than 5-6 surfers on it, but too big for us. The surf guides were great - especially Smiley who was with us every day. Water sports - the staff here were great - very helpful and good communication. The Nurse Shark tour was outstanding, probably the best fun snorkeling I have had - to be so close up to so many sharks and stingrays was amazing. Snorkeling off the beach was fun too - not much live coral, but lots of fish. Pool - impossible to get a pool chair most days, especially if you want shade. Dont expect any food or wait service for cocktails either. Oh, and take your own towel, we were never offered one.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi. As an expat traveling with my family, this trip was very special for us, and the front desk manager (Dussi) went above and beyond to make it even more memorable. He kindly upgraded us to an ocean villa and ensured we had access to full facilities, which made our stay absolutely perfect. His thoughtfulness and hospitality made us feel so welcomed and cared for. Our kids had the best time and enjoyed every moment, which made the trip even more meaningful. I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and support. This resort is already beautiful, but the warmth and service we received truly made the difference. Highly recommended!

Paradise on earth, an amazing resort with beautiful coral reef and natural view. Had lots of fun with family. Great crew and staff, they were fabulous all throughout. Always on their toes to serve with a smile. Kudos to the pool side bar staff and special mention to the poolside bartenders Muizz, Roshan, Nisala. They concocted delicious cocktails on the drop of a hat. Don't go by the negative reviews, they may be just pissed off disgruntled guests looking for discounts but we're not entertained. The complete crew is lovely and most welcoming. You will not regret coming here.

We had a great stay at Adaaran Hudhuranfushi! The best part of our experience was our butler, Dilan. He was outstanding, always courteous, quick to respond, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. His service really made our trip feel special. The food overall was good, though a bit standard. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely enjoyable. The snorkelling was amazing, with plenty of sea life and even a few shark sightings, which made it really memorable. Our room was nice and comfortable, though fairly simple in design. One thing to keep in mind is that around the ocean villas, there are a lot of dead corals close to the water. While it looks interesting, it makes snorkelling there tricky since the corals are sharp and can hurt if you’re not careful. A small downside is that there’s no room service and no option to get food or drinks delivered to the villas. Since the restaurants are a bit far, going back and forth can get tiring, especially if you are staying in the ocean villas. On the positive side, the resort has two great restaurants with bars. One serves burgers, hot dogs, and other quick bites, while the other serves pizzas. Both spots have beautiful ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere, making them wonderful places to unwind with a drink. Overall, I would rate our stay 8 out of 10. The service and snorkelling were excellent, the food was decent, and while there are a few areas to improve, it’s still a lovely island getaway that’s well worth visiting.

Service: The hotel staff is generally polite and responsive. I would especially like to highlight several employees who truly made our stay comfortable. A special thanks to the Russian-speaking coordinator, Ksenia, who helped us choose an excellent bungalow and promptly resolved any issues that arose. In the Indian cuisine restaurant, we were very impressed by the waiter, Hareez. His efficiency and attention to detail made every one of our lunches and dinners a truly pleasant experience. I would also like to acknowledge the work of the bartenders: Muizz, Mushil, Pasan, Suranga, Rathnayaka, Mohan. They work tirelessly, and the bar assortment is delightfully varied. A separate thank you to the chef, Sanya! His skill in preparing pasta made me see this dish in a new light. I was willing to stand in line specifically at his station just to taste his culinary creations.
