Hudhuranfushi also has an excellent location for seeing more of traditional Maldivian life. Visit the capital city of Male to see the National Museum, Presidential Palace, Esjeshi Art Gallery and the Grand Friday Mosque.

The resort is getting dated now & needs some love. The setting is unbelievable, the grounds, views & beaches are out of this world. The food was excellent, however, their labelling was very poor. I ate gluten one day & was very ill even though I only ate gluten free marked items & used common sense. The welcome was not great. You are marched up to the office you pay your green tax before you are given keys to your room. Check in process took far too long & people with beach villas were served before over water villas. Overall our experience there was excellent.

Water Villa: Luxurious amenities, including: - Tea/coffee machine - Fruits - Refrigerator with drinks (including 1 champagne bottle) - Bath robes - Huge bathrooms with bathtubs - Amenities like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tooth kit, sewing kit, and comb 3. Staff: Polite, happy faces, and attentive service. 4. Resort Facilities: Beach villas, pools, sports activities, snorkeling point. 5. Boat Service: Efficient airport transfers and resort ferry. Food: 1. Variety: Banyan and Sunset restaurants offered diverse dishes, including an Indian food section at Banyan. 2. Pizza Bar: Good 3. Overall Food Quality: Despite variety, food didn't meet expectations. 4. Special Honeymoon Dinner: Cake and dinner were disappointing Overall Experience: Best experience! Luxurious stay, amazing staff, and beautiful resort. Despite some food issues, the overall experience was memorable. Definitely worth visiting at least once!

My wife and I chose Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi for our latest trip to the Maldives—just the two of us, no kids—and honestly, it was perfect. The whole island has this cool, surf-friendly vibe that’s super chill but still feels special. The staff were so kind from the moment we arrived. Everything is green and peaceful, like walking through a tropical garden. Food? Amazing. So many good options, especially and surprisingly, for my celiac, gluten free wife.  She says it was the best pizza of her entire celiac experience (past 5 years). The live acoustic music at night made it feel even more memorable. We loved the sunset cruise and the noontime snorkeling at the nearby reef. Also—the outdoor shower in our villa? Both spacious and spotlessly clean, fantastic design. 10/10. We loved every moment and already want to come back.

Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi is an absolute gem! My partner and I had the best holiday experience, and a big part of that was thanks to the amazing staff. A special shoutout to Pradeep and kisha, who made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Their constant smiles and helpful nature made our stay even more enjoyable. The resort itself is beautiful, with white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. We stayed in a beach villa, which was spacious and spotless. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to suit every palate. One of the best things about the resort was how well-organized everything was. The front office staff, in particular, made everything so easy, from check-in to helping us book activities. Their warmth and professionalism really set the tone for a fantastic stay. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable vacation. We can’t wait to return!

The resort is a 30 minute speed boat ride from the airport. The setting is quite nice and there are many choices of accommodation types. All meals and drinks are included and we didn’t have any issues being served drinks in a timely way. The rooms are quite dated ( we had a beach room ) although they are well sized. Our bathroom was outside with the toilet which was unusual but quite nice. There is a stocked mini bar ( no charge ) with beer and soft drinks. The beach is close and you can snorkel from straight off the beach at high tide. There was plenty of choice in terms of food but only one coffee machine for several hundred people. There was invariably a queue in the morning waiting for that first coffee. Personally I found the meal times too late - 7:30am for breakfast and 7:30pm for dinner although there is a grill bar and a pizza place if you don’t want to wait. The restaurant was so amazingly hot. It had small fans up so high that you couldn’t feel the breeze. It wouldn’t take much to fix it and make meal times bearable. The service was mixed and we particularly found reception unhelpful. We wanted a late checkout and asked from the day we got there but had to wait until exactly 7:30am on our last day before anyone was able to make a decision. What should have been an easy decision when we arrived became more complicated by the time we left because of the closure of Heathrow Airport and the flow on. We managed to finally get a late checkout and checked twice with reception that someone would get our bags. They kept nodding and smiling but when we got to the speedboat - no bags! They eventually turned up but no explanation and no apology. It was a disappointing end. All in all I’m not sure how the resort stacks up against others in the price range. We had a nice holiday but it wasn’t memorable. It’s not somewhere I would particularly recommend.
