The location is great, rooms are clean, the lobby seems to be the happening spot with great music and ambience. It's a great welcoming entrance. Some things need updating in the room, they need lamps because either you get pure brightness with the lights on or pure darkness when you turn off with one switch. The pools need major work, it's dated, dirty and looked closed at night. They had no lighting and the swim up bar look closed all day but apparently they open till about 3 or 4 p.m?? Why so early?? The pool should usually be the happening spot in hotels like this. But it had no ambience, no music playing, no lighting and the waterfall wasn't working. The whole time I was there I thought the restaurant they had was closed because they weren't lit inside. I don't understand why they had the lights off in the restaurant. The welcoming staff should have let us know that they have a different Cuisine every night at the restaurant. Luckily they had a slew of restaurants across the street. I see that they're doing some sort of Renovations so hopefully the pool will be next.

What a great experience. We had nice room clean great maid service. Very friendly staff we loved Cheryl our breakfast waitress was friendly. Our pool bartender Jerry was a terrific guy. Loved the access to market, shopping and restaurants. Boardwalk right down the beach was wonderful

Lovely spot right on the beach. We had a sea view which was just gorgeous. Other people reported issues with fresh towels but we were only there 4 days 3 nights so didn't change ours for environmental reasons. Vegan food a slight issue but again we did B and B rate as wanted to spend our money eating benefitting the local businesses so not an issue. Staff very helpful locating almond or soya milk for breakfast. Room was huge aircon excellent TV plenty of choice. Lovely outdoor pools always got a sunbed no problem. We would definitely come back

We had high hopes for Accra beach hotel, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing.Our daughter got sick on the plane and was throwing up constantly. Her being so weak, we just wanted to check in and get her rested. From the start, check-in was a disaster — we had to wait nearly two hours because they didn’t have clean sheets ready for our room. After a long day of travel, this was not the welcome we expected. Things didn’t improve once we got to our room. The rooms are very dated and not particularly clean. It felt like they hadn’t been properly maintained in quite some time. To make matters worse, we didn’t have any towels in the room. We requested them in the morning before heading out for the day, but when we came back around 4:00 PM, we still didn’t have any.Basically we had towel issues every day. For a beach hotel, not having towels available is unacceptable. The overall lack of organization and cleanliness really soured our stay. We definitely wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be returning.

I really enjoyed my solo stay at Accra Beach. The breakfast was so tasty and the view lovely - friendly staff. However, pool bar service was poor the day I went so went to a nearby spot off property instead. The room was spacious and comfortable. The shower fixtures could be better.
