I’ve been at this hotel for about a week and a half now. Overall stay has been great besides the incredibly rude front desk attendant that works the evening shift! The AC in my unit hasn’t worked since the day I arrived, only blows hot air! I’ve brought this to the front desk attention numerous times and I’m always told a maintenance worker will come service it, yet no one has ever come! Went to the front desk again tonight politely asking for a maintenance to service the AC and was yelled at by the extremely rude front desk attendant. This man has zero customer service and should not be running a hotel solely! I’ve witnessed him be rude to other customers/guest previous to my unsettling experience with him! Besides being extremely rude, he makes guest feel uncomfortable to ask for basic amenities that you’re paying for as a customer! It’s 9pm and my room is currently 80 degrees and still no maintenance has come. Other than this my stay here has been quite pleasant! Would absolutely love to stay here again if something can be done about this! Sincerely, a paying customer.

DONT NOT STAY HERE, I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE- TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE I stayed here recently for a couple days and everything was horrible. 1) An extra deposit was due at the front after paying a deposit online 2) The TV did not work 3) A humidifier was in the room hence they have mold somewhere 4. Paid for queen size beds and got too full size that were on the floor. 4) inhabitable, it should be condemned 5) no amenities, no room service 6) no one speaks English 7) Ants on the sink the the bathroom 8) shower was filthy, I showered with shoes on 9) Pictures on Google are not up to date If I could leave no stars I absolutely WOULD!!

I waited a while before posting this review because I wanted to see how I felt after I let things settle. Well here I am. I stayed at this hotel over new years while visiting Universal Studios. Huge mistake!! 1. I arrived the middle of the night before. I tried calling a few times to see if I could add pay for 1 extra night to stay early. No answer!! drove to hotel after resting at rest stop. The staff person was asleep in the worker area. he said I lied and didn't call until I showed him my call log. Then he said the phones dont work. 2. We got a room, it was horrible!!! there was black spots on the ceiling. The 2nd night I was there I woke up to use the bathroom and there was a friend in the bathroom that ran under the door. roaches!!! I didn't leave because I didn't know where to go that I could afford. I had already asked them to clean it cause it was pretty dirty. I did complain about the roaches. The next day I started feeling sick. I was afraid if I complained to much more would they kick me out or do something spiteful. The only plus, there was no bed bugs. The next day a friend came to my rescue and helped me move to a different hotel. We moved about 11pm. I never have been so happy to move hotels ever!!!! we went through every article we owned to make sure we didn't take any friends with us! Not fun at almost midnight. But I took like an hour shower when we got to our new place and checked everything again there too. A bit about me, I don't mind a budget hotel as long as there are no uninvited friends and it's clean.

We stayed here to go to Universal. They had a very convenient location. We got there and the shower curtain was ripped but they had maintenance there within 20 minutes to fix it. The next day my 2 year old had an incident with a blowout diaper and house keeping came and took care of it (which I felt really bad about). The pool was nice. Zero complaints about this place

What can I say, for the price, it's a good hotel to be around a busy and bustling area. I came here for an event at the nearby Orange County Convention Center, and this hotel fits the distance. I booked the double deluxe room. The first thing I need to get out of the way is that this is not a resort. The design is akin to that of a motel. 4 buildings, but all doors are exterior. The pool and bar are in the center. We stayed in building 4, which is a bit further from the pool. It was fairly quiet, but I would assume the noise might be higher in buildings 1-3 due to music from the pool. Cleaning staff and front desk were quite helpful. Food at their bar was fine. There is nothing to write home on, but fair. The people behind the counter, on the other hand, were helpful but not super pleasant. It's no top-tier hotel, but it's not a bad affordable option, especially if you plan to be out and about.

This is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. First of the rooms are really dirty and out-dated. We were placed towards the motorway end of block 4. The noise from the road behind is unbelievable. It's all night. They should seriously think about installing noise blocking within the room. You also have the noise from the dehumidifier that starts working during the wee hours of the night. We had to end up unplugging this. Whilst the maids do a good job it wouldn't hurt them to run over the floor with a mop once in a while. The safe doesn't work and it was held together by blue tack. Not joking. The pool is also very dirty and not once did I ever see a lifeguard pool side. The staff on the reception desk are amongst the rudest people I have ever met. The concierge man is even worse. The shuttle bus service that they promote at the hotel to Disney parks is terrible. It's either late or it doesn't arrive. We have had to pay nearly £250 to cover taxis for when the service never arrived. I definitely would not recommend to stay here.

The Avanti is very nice. It's located walking distance to the Orlando Ferris wheel. We payed a little extra for a jacuzzi tub room. It was so enjoyable! No complaints as we've stayed here a few times. Check it out!

I have never in my life been so disgusted when it comes to a hotel. At first when we walked in everything seemed fine. Staff was nice. It was late when we checked in around 10 p.m. We entered the room a smell hit and I knew immediately there was gonna be a problem. When I started to look around the room it was not clean. I picked up the pillows there was black stuff on the pillows, then I lifted the sheets….. I was horrified, there was something on the sheets that I can only describe that it possibly came from a male. It was all over the bed. There was hair in the tub and cracks, honestly I felt like we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I will say when we went to the staff they were nice but they realized quickly there was no fixing this, they did immediately give us a full refund which was great. Still doesn’t excuse the fact that we were stuck at almost midnight trying to search for another place to stay. The pictures of this place are super misleading. I’m very disappointed, this was not a great start to our vacation especially since we had to find another hotel for almost double the price bc it was last minute.

At the Avanti I planned a 5 day trip. Upon arrival I requested extra towels be left in the room & there wasn’t the room looked like it didn’t get cleaned there was a leakage from either the AC or the refrigerator when we arrived. I also went into the restroom where it looked as if it wasn’t swept or mopped the floor still had the previous guest hair in it. I asked for another room at the front counter & the lady told me that she would have maintenance & housekeeping come & check out the room while me & my family went out to do other things. Upon my arrival back I went into the room & they mopped up the floor where I believe the AC or refrigerator was, but it still wasn’t clean, so I had went back up to the front desk & demanded another room & that’s when I got it. I noticed a lot of the house keepers don’t speak English so it was very hard to communicate with them. I found for most of my stay that I would clean my own room because of the language barrier, but the housekeeping ladies that I did talk with they were very helpful. I didn’t get my extra towels so I just took them from the pool area or whenever housekeeping came around just snagged a few from them. I also feel like the times that me & my family were out & I’m talking about hours to come back & our room still wasn’t clean or our beds wasn’t made was insane. Also for the breakfast that I had paid for was insane. You don’t get what you pay for it was like the food was bland & didn’t have any taste so that was a waste. I feel like you’re better off just going to a restaurant everyday because the breakfast sucks & you can only get 1 thing off the list you have a choice between orange juice or coffee then you have a choice from a breakfast burrito now when they say breakfast burrito I’m thinking something with egg cheese & some type of meat,but no there breakfast burrito was with just egg & cheese it taste like the egg they served was straight out of the bag the pancakes were thin as wind. The breakfast sandwich was the same way with just egg & cheese just toasted it was really gross, but you’ll think that at that price we could’ve at least got a continental breakfast. I know they have enough money to even put waffle makers in so we can make our own.The selection they have sucks. I hate that I wasted my money on adding the breakfast because it was NOT worth it. I was on vacation & very disappointed. The Avanti location is what sold me because you’re right by everything, but other than that if you can look somewhere else because I felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth for what I paid.

I will never book a room at this hotel again. When I walked in, it looks shady as hell. The pictures online look nothing like the room that you receive. Upon entering the first room, I noticed the AC did not work, and there was water all over the floor, and the room smelled like mold and smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. I went back to the counter, and the guy was able to help me and gave me a better room on the third floor, but upon entering the hallway that led to the room because it wasn’t inside entryway, the carpet had dirt and trash and mold and roaches, and it smelled like a wet dog and a chemical that they might have used to hide the smell. Upon entering the room, I noticed there were roaches in my room , and I took a picture of all of them, and I know they were not the same roaches, because one was named Bob one was named Billy and the third was named Ed. I noticed some towels and washcloths were hanging off of the shower curtain rod, and there were pubic hairs in it. Also, the floor was nasty. I don’t think it was mopped. The bed was comfortable, but I was terrified to sleep because I did not want Bob Billy or Ed to visit me in the middle of the night. Clearly the hotel doesn’t care about our reviews because they said the same automated response to every review. Hey hotel? Maybe you should actually fix the problems that people are complaining about

Really wish we has a better experience at this hotel. It is in the perfect location, being 8min down the road from universal and 12min from sea world. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. This was one of the worst hotels I ever stayed in. The pictures are old and do not accurately show the conditions of the rooms. The lobby was nice, but the staff were slow and rude at the front desk. On the way to the room the hallways are not clean and was cluttered with trash. There was literally 4 large trash bags completely full that sat in the hallway all weekend long (4 days straight). The towels in the bathroom were stained and didn't look clean. There were roaches crawling all over the bathroom. The only positive was the price point. I would not bring my family here or ever recommend this place to anyone.

This place is by far the worst I have experienced especially in the tourist area. Considering the price it's still not worth the stay. I spent most of the time in the parking lot or in my car just because I didn't want to be in the room. The room is full of filth, rust mold and probably asbestos who knows. My son has asthma and hasn't had a flair up in forever. As soon as we stepped foot in the place he started coughing and wheezing so bad. At first I had no idea why he was having such a bad reaction. Then I went to check the vents and they were absolutely filthy. I'm not a picky person, but the level of maintenance and care that this hotel needs calls for an immediate shut down and reopening. It's not about looks, it's more so this place is unhealthy and unsafe. This is my my first time writing a review on any hotel but this is by far the worst one I have ever slept in. I really wish I could've done a walk through before I booked, definitely would've saved me the headache, literally. The lobby looks very nice and the rooms are the total opposite, it's such a shame.

Please do not book at this red roof inn. We had a leaky wax seal on the toilet and had to keep towels down so I wouldn't fall since I am getting over back surgery. Had to put a $50 damage deposit which I should have gotten for the risk of staying there. I had a disabled room with nothing working in the room. They had to replace the TV and still did not know how to program it. No one spoke English well enough to be able to communicate with me. The coffee pot was not only rusted but full of calcium deposits with the look of coffee grounds in the water section. Fire hazard hair dryer. They told me that the room did not have a tub but a wheel chair accessible shower which was not true. I was able to use it with my husband's help. When I got out the tub leaked all over the floor. They didn't offer us anything else even though they were not full. Big difference from 3 years ago.

Cockroaches. Smelly. Used q-tips. Bathroom door rusted open. Cracks in the walls. Hard bed. Dirty sheets. This was without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I’ve stayed in hotels in rural Guatemala. Everything about this place was nasty—the bed, the sheets, the floors, the shower, the toilet, the sink, the fridge, even the dresser. I found several cockroaches during my stay. There was a used q-tip in the dresser. This place is absolutely disgusting. DO NOT come here, just bite the bullet and pay the extra $20 for the hotel next door. I thought I would get what I payed for. No. You would have to pay me to get me to stay here again. Take a look at the pictures, see if you can win at spot the roach. However, the people at the front desk were pretty nice.

The rooms are pretty nice for the price we paid. They even have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. I stayed in a double bed room. The rooms are pretty spacious! There were also two of us. The front desk service can be warmer, friendlier, and smile more to give a welcoming feeling to set the tone for the hotel. I’ve only seen 1 person working even when it’s really busy. Their buffet is really good! They have pretty solid food for this type of hotel! The service is really good too! Everybody says good morning to you when you enter! I really liked Joseph! He would go above and beyond! I stayed here for 5 days for a convention. This hotel has shuttle pickups and drop offs. They also have complimentary shuttle service to universal studios but you’ll need to book 24 hours in advance.

We stayed for one night with family, booked two rooms. The check in took a little while but not too bad. Staff were friendly. Plenty of parking on site. Even though we had one booking, the two rooms were very far from each other, in different buildings, which was disappointing as we traveled with two elderly ladies and thought we would be close by. But it was just one night so we didn't complain. There is a restaurant on site and it was very good with excellent service and good value. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the mall with plenty of entertainment, bars and restaurants. The rooms are a bit dated, more like a vintage motel style. But they were reasonably clean and everything worked. The checkout was as simple as dropping the key card into the box and we were on our way. Good value and enjoyable stay.

Overview : quality reflects lower cost. If you're looking for a nice resort, you need to keep looking. Rooms were a little run down and felt dingy. The location is great, I was down for a conference and it was a 20 minute walk from my room to the conference. A lot of very loud, not considerate guests were present on my floor with yelling, laughing, and partying went on till well past 2 every day. The 24/7 shop on site was great, usual hotel markup prices, but you pay for convince. Personally, I'll spend the extra 20 bucks a night and find a better place next time. If you're on a budget and are just looking for a place to crash at night after a day of wrangling kids, this might be your jam.

Me and my friends, plus other students & teachers stayed here for 3 days. Our rooms, in Block A, seemed fine when we arrived, just a bit creepy seeming and smelled strange – but once we came back from Universal Studios on our first day, four of the rooms that other students were staying in smelt like strong urine and marijuana. All people in those rooms moved to Block C instead for just the night. That same day, late into the night, housekeeping knocked on our doors and tried to come inside – and teachers had to come in and refuse to let them into any of them as we were sleeping. Another instance with housekeeping was that they knocked on a door which my friends were staying in, in which they refused to let them in – telling them to ‘Go away’ – in which they just promptly unlocked the doors and came in anyway, all people in this room were under age and one of them were confirmed to be changing. The second day we went out and then came out later in the morning, housekeeping had been and my room seemed fine – until we noticed that our microwave had been used and that my perfume had been stolen. Plus they had left a small black comb on our desk – all roommates agreeing that it wasn't any of ours. Also at that time a water bottle had been stolen from our other friends fridge, as there had been three and she came back to only two. It was a very jarring experience as it was many of our first times in America, and multiple of us did not feel safe. I would not recommend this hotel at all. This Is Not Team Skibidi Certified

The room was okay but nothing great. The check in staff was fast and friendly. The housekeeping people are terrific. The location is amazingly close to a strip of restaurants across the street and very close to the convention center. Parking was free.

I noticed a lot of people complained about the rooms being run down. For what I paid for the room I think it was definitely worth it. If you want a real resort, pay real resort fees. The location was perfect. I honestly didn’t even need a rental car we could walk almost everywhere we needed to go. The kids loved the pool. I noticed someone said something about the musty smell in room 811. I had that room for two days and ended up switching because the ac stopped working. That room did have a mildew smell that was really bad, the shower curtain did not fit(it was actually odd), and the drains did suck but again the hotel was cheap and clean so we were willing to deal with it. When the ac stopped working I went to the front desk and they ended up moving me downstairs. This room ended up being way better and smelt better. I actually wish I would have complained sooner. Everyone who worked there was extremely nice and housekeeping checked my room everyday for the 4 days I was there. I actually came early and they let me check in early. Overall it wasn’t a bad hotel.

We stayed in room 811 for 3 days for reference. We didn't book this room ourselves. We used points and had our "concierge" book for us. Never again!!! The pros are the location of the hotel (off of International Drive and right next to Icon Park). You can walk there easily and not have to worry about the crazy traffic or parking. Also the location of building 8 is right by the pools and fitness center. So that was a HUGE plus. And the pools and hot tub were nice and clean. The problem is the cons FAR outweighed any pros of this place. 1. The room smelled so musty. The stench was awful and the rooms are pretty dated. 2. The shower curtain barely grazed the top rim of the tub, so water went all over the floor every time we took a shower. How expensive is it to replace with a longer shower curtain? 3. The tub drained so slowly that water filled up to my ankles when I took a shower. 4. There are 2 electrical outlets on the nightstand and both were old and loose, so our plugs would not stay plugged in and we could not charge our devices. 5. There is a sauna and steam room, but both of those were broken in the ladies restroom in the fitness center. 6. We only got new towels (no turn down service at all) one day out of the 3. 7. We could not get towels at the pool area the 2 times we visited the pool. The towel shed was empty and there was no one working in the area.

Hotel is dated - think old school Florida, but our room was very spacious and clean. Great pools with multiple relaxation areas. Doors stick and bathroom was tiny (but clean). Would have been nice to have a microwave in room. The staff here have been FANTASTIC!!!! We are here for the week for a work event and everyone has been so nice and helpful.

Started off on a bad foot. Lady at the desk was more concerned about her phone than me, a paying customer trying to get her attention. Got to my room, beds smaller than expected. Toilet disgusting (and broken), tons of water stains on the bowl. Water came out brown from the shower at first. Random flip flop under the bed. Left the restaurant cause it was way overpriced and there was condiments on the napkins. Seems like majority of the staff didn't care to help me either. I had to ask 3 different staff members for a high chair. One pool was closed and the other way overcrowded. I had to pay the resort fee despite using no resort amenities. Not even a mini fridge in the room. Beds extremely uncomfortable. Would NEVER do this again. Absolutely abysmal.

More like a motel than a hotel/resort. Everything is a little shabby. Was in town for a conference and liked the location, but should've just stayed further away at a nicer spot. When I got to my room the bed wasn't made, looked like housekeeping missed it. Called down to ask about it and they said they'd get me a different room... But when I got to the desk they were annoyed with me and told me I needed to wait for housekeeping to inspect the room before they'd give me a new one. Leaving this review as I'm waiting in the lobby, 20 minutes later, to see if/when I will get a room. EDIT: There were several people at the front desk whose rooms hadn't been made up. Pretty sure I got the last available room after waiting around 40 minutes. My new room was much nicer than my original - must have some newer buildings than others. Still never coming back.

The 2 bedroom luxury suites are very nice. They are basically two adjoining rooms. Each room has its own living area, which also contains a small kitchen. There are no dishes of any kind, but I read that you could ask for them at the front office. The heated pool is open from sunrise to sunset. The breakfast area has lots of seating. It is mostly breads, pancakes, and cereal. Each morning, there was at least one type of protein, such as greek yogurt and sausage or eggs. The location is great. It is easy to get in and out of and close to many places to eat. The area felt very safe. You have to have your room key to enter the building and work the elevators. Parking was convenient.

Overall, it was serviceable for a short stay to visit the Universal parks, but for the price we paid I was underwhelmed. Our non-club suite (intermediate room class) was spacious and clean, but dated. The beds weren't the most comfortable, and no comforters were provided. Oddly, the kitchen features a stove but no cookware, or even plates/glasses/silverware. Housekeeping only every three days was also rather stingy, especially for non-long-term guests. Worse yet, certain items (ie towels) could be picked up at the front desk, but others (ie additional shampoo) could only be delivered to your room. There didn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to it, at least from a guest experience prospective. The breakfast was decent but had limited options - no meat options were served any of the four days we ate there. The included park shuttle was appreciated, but only offered one outbound and inbound time per day, and the inbound time was ridiculously early for anyone looking to spend a full day at the parks (5 pm). Lastly - NO gym access included, unless you get a top-level club suite! This was utterly ridiculous - I've never been to a hotel that offered a gym but only to certain guests. Service was friendly, location was convenient, and the facilities were fine overall. Just a few simple changes (daily housekeeping, properly stocked kitchens, a few options for shuttle times, gym access for all) would make this an excellent choice and a great value.

I was concerned due to bad reviews before checking in here. But after staying for 5 nights, I felt quite satisfied. The room I stayed was the luxury room (70 m2) that is so large, clean and comfortable. The staff is nice and approachable whenever I need something. The only thing I don’t like is the breakfast that is so poor in menu. Overall, the experience was good with a decent price.

My recent stay at the Ramada Plaza was a complete disappointment, marking it as the worst hotel experience I've encountered. The room was far from clean, with trash left in dresser drawers and noticeable mold and grime in the tub. Despite my request, the front desk was unhelpful in providing replacement towels, displaying a lack of concern for guest satisfaction. Compounding my dissatisfaction, I discovered some of my personal belongings missing during my stay, which left me feeling uneasy and violated. The lobby atmosphere was concerning, resembling more of a halfway house with people loitering and sleeping, further contributing to my sense of discomfort. Safety and security were also major concerns, evident in the poor condition of the facility and parking areas. As for breakfast, the quality was abysmal. I strongly advise against staying at the Ramada Plaza. The lack of cleanliness, security, and service make it an unacceptable choice for any traveler.

Visited here from NY for 3 days. Now when I go on vacation I want to enjoy myself not work. They do housekeeping every 3 days which is definitely not fair to guests that are not staying a long time. We couldn’t get our sheets changed, bed made nada. Had to ask for towels and rags. No one comes to your room to even ask if you need anything. The front desk receptionist was very snobby. I don’t even remember her name but I know she wears glasses. The room wasn’t cleaned very good and had a lot of mosquitoes 😩 The only great thing is the hotel is located on the strip around almost everything. The pool and jacuzzi were very warm so that was a great thing

Please listen to all of the bad reviews here. I ignored them and it was a huge mistake. We were instructed to not put the ac below 72. The ac never got cold enough. Purchased a fan hoping to circulate more air. The hotel was very humid and muggy. We were all sweating through the night. We had no hot water for 2 days. There was a ring of dirt around the bath tub. Only 2 towels available but 4 people.. Stains on the beds. We had 3 beds and only 2 blankets. We asked the front for another blanket and they said they didn't have any… so went to the store to buy our own blanket. coffee pot with no coffee. So once again went to the store to buy coffee but the coffee pot ended up being broken anyways. When complaining about any of this hoping to have it fixed, the only response we really got was “thanks for your feedback”… hot water started working again 30 minutes before check out. Clearly not enough time to finally get the showers we needed. I will gladly pay more to stay anywhere else next time we come to Orlando.

Cockroaches! In all my years of travelling around the world, this is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel with cockroaches. At check-in, the TV in the lobby was playing Super Troopers and we eventually had to ask the front desk to change the station due to the nudity and mature content our young kids were being subjected to as we waited for our room (for those not familiar, it contains nudity and many, many sexual references/acts). We were disappointed to find many large stains all over the carpet in our room, the furniture was also stained and very worn. Our kids were horrified, we figured we'd try to make the best of it and leave our shoes on while in the room. Until! The second night we arrived back late in the dark and flipped the light switch in the room to find cockroaches scurrying along the kitchen counters. Heck NO. The only saving grace was that the front desk staff were willing to refund us the following nights so we could book elsewhere. When I mentioned the cockroaches, it was clearly not a surprise to them as all I got was a tepid "We're sorry to hear your stay was less than ideal" (paraphrased). Do not recommend.

Stayed here for 2 days with my sister and partner. When checking in the guy was very friendly with the people in front of me but did a 180 when I got to him. Right when you get into the room the smell of cigarettes just hits you in the face, it was also a none smoking room. When we went into the bathroom they left opened already used soap out with no extra soap to replace it. Told the guy about the smoke smell so he wouldn't blame us along with the soap, he didn't seem to care about the smell but brought us more soap. We used the "kitchen" area to make some food and one of the burners were out. If I'm being honest, out of the whole room, the refrigerator was the cleanest. When I went to check out I used the stairwell, while going down i found a cigarette that was just recently used. All the pictures you see on their website is completely outdated and does not look that nice. This place doesn't look nice and lively like the pictures, rather dark and unwelcoming. I don't understand how this place has 3.9 stars, but if I could I'd give it 0 stars.

We were a group wanting 4 rooms, walked in to check with the front desk, stood there for 13 minutes while the rest of the group waiting outside , the front desk employee had one customer only who looks like been there for a while , all of my time standing looking him in the eye , the employee didn’t even bother to greet or say hi or acknowledge my existence as a customer who’s walking in, I swallowed it for 13 minutes and tried to get his attention many times but nothing! Not even a “I’ll be right with you “ clearly that gave me a clear message about the service we were gona receive and just walked out with the group to a hotel right next to it in which they were busy a little at the desk but greeted and acknowledge us as a customer . When you are in the hospitality business their are basics , and sky suites didn’t have it for sure. I urge you to invest in your employees and in the employees selection HR process.

The only upside was location. This hotel is truly something else. Can’t turn down ac can’t jump in pool bus unfriendly staff and even owners I guess up stay try and make it seem like it’s okay and it’s my fault. Don’t waste your time with this place. NO BREAKFAST either.

Excellent location. 6 minute drive away from Universal. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and entertainment in walking distance. Safe,gated parking with 24hr security at the entrance. Large pool and plenty of deck chairs Updated windows in the rooms (you will not hear the highway from I4) They have a small grocery store with a large wine and beer selection.

Title: A Delightful Stay in Orlando During my recent stay at this hotel on International Drive in Orlando, Florida, I was impressed with the overall experience. The hotel's prime location put me close to the city's heart, within easy reach of major attractions. My room was spacious and impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. The staff deserve special mention for their politeness and courteous demeanor, adding to the hotel's charm. The amenities were highlighted, including a well-equipped fitness room, an inviting outdoor seasonally-heated swimming pool, and a large, secure parking lot. The presence of a gift shop, a coin-operated laundry, and the option of a reasonably priced, delicious breakfast further enhanced my stay. The room was convenient, boasting a range of amenities such as a safe, refrigerator, microwave oven, iron, and board. With its very reasonable rates, this hotel provided a stay and an experience I enjoyed. It's also worth noting that this is a dog-friendly hotel, which might be an important consideration for some guests. I recommend it to anyone visiting Orlando!

Great budget friendly hotel for your trip to Universal/Orlando. Rooms and facilities were clean and modern. Only complaint would be that housekeeping comes around quite early rather than after checkout time. Breakfast buffet (extra charge) was adequate for the price and pool was nice. Would stay here again as it’s very close to Universal and offers a shuttle to the parks.

This hotel was sweet! Can't get any closer to Universal. Universal aside, the location of this hotel is actually close to just about everything! Room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the pool and Volcano Bay. Parking is a breeze and the 24 hour convenience store is very appreciated. The only complaint I have to give is that only 3 floors have ONE washer and ONE drier each. Unless you do your laundry at 7AM, good luck trying to do your laundry as those machines are always going to be used. Hotel needs a dedicated laundromat with multiple washers and driers.

The staff is wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Clean hotel. Close to downtown. Great pool. The hotel is literally next to 5 different restaurants. Walking distance to shopping and transit right at the foot steps of the hotel. Clean room and facilities. Beds are a little soft too my liking but I'm picky. Need need larger pillows. Big shower, mini fridge, desk with chair and free cable. Very affordable. A great hotel.

Nice setup with the kitchen, washer and dryer. We had the two bedroom. It was clean and plenty of room. The pool area is beautiful, plenty of towels and room to sit. There is even an arcade that our kids enjoyed. Our flight was delayed and they let us check out an hour late. Was much appreciated. Would stay here again for sure

My family and I arrived late due to flight delay, I emailed the hotel to notify them and I received a reply 11 days later as I arrived home after the holiday. During check-in the hotel receptionist was very rude and barely looked at me. She gave very little details about my stay and was very grumpy. A lady arrived to transport our luggage to block D and again didn't speak or look at us never mind help us with our luggage!! We did not feel welcome and at the point I had regretted booking this hotel. The hotel room was adequate with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and lounge. Great space for a family of five. After 4 days I had to request fresh towels and sheets and for the garbage to be emptied. The floors appeared clean but our socks got black from walking around the hotel room- disgusting! The rooms were adequate but tatty and in need of an upgrade but was ok for the price we paid. The location was good enough but I don't think I'd return. I certainly didn't feel welcome except the ground staff around the hotel were very friendly.

The resort is big and in a great location with Sea World close by and Universal about 6 miles away. The area in the main building seems to have been recently modernized with a great pool, the Plam Cafe and the bar all are top notch. We stay in building E and it’s starting to look its age. The rooms were great with a full kitchen, island, dining room and living room that are all dog friendly but the bedroom and bathroom are on the edge of being out dated. Still everything was clean and nicely presented.

Reminiscent of an apartment complex with additional amenities. Check-in was a breeze. Although the 3 bedrooms I booked & paid for were not given to me, the resort manager compensated my family with some other perks, which was satisfactory. Although we we only stayed 1 night, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The pool was a bit chilly, and the hot tub was warm. Great 80's music played by the bar. We had a few cocktails that were made perfect. Rooms were clean, plus a fully stocked kitchen for us. Jacuzzi was a plus in the master bedroom. I would definitely recommend staying here. I was promised a bottle of bubbly which I didn't receive... but that wasn't an issue. Lovely resort! I would definitely stay again when I'm in the area!

When we got to the room everything seemed ok. We got a 2 bedroom condo, one with 2 queens and one a master. Right when we entered we noticed a horrible smell. When we turned on the TV we noticed a green line covering some of the screen. In the room with 2 queen beds the fan was making a weird clanking noise which made it harder to sleep. The next day we noticed the ceiling above the shower had a leak. So we moved rooms next door which was way better. We had some plumping issues with three toilet with it rising up. Then later, the toilet overflows and floods the bathroom and some of the room. The room overall was quite nice, besides the complaints. Housekeeping is very good. The pool was good overall.I do recommend going early to the pool to get chairs because a lot of people like sunbathe. Horrible experience and probably never coming back. Besides the bad experience it was nicely setup, the cafe was good, arcade was good and the pool was excellent.
