Events and Festivals

Calle Ocho Festival

Celebrating Miami’s Latin and Caribbean cultures, the Calle Ocho Festival is an extravaganza of music, food and activities. More than a million people turn out for the event, which takes place every March, on 8th Street, between 8th Avenue and SW 27th Avenue, in the Little Havana neighbourhood.

Miami Beach Gay Pride

Filling Ocean Drive and its surrounding Streets, the Miami Beach Gay Pride event takes place over a number of days, usually in March and/or April. Festivities include live music and entertainment, culminating in a huge parade along the length of Ocean Drive.

Spring Break

Taking place in March and April, Spring Break is a time when Miami plays host to number of festivals and music events as college kids from across to the US head to the shores of South Beach to join in the fun. If you’re looking for a party, it’s definitely worth planning your visit to Miami to coincide with Spring break.

Where to Eat in Miami

When it comes to dining out, Miami offers restaurants to suit every palate and budget, with cuisines from every corner of the globe and flavours sure to tantalise your taste buds.
