The flamingo is in the best part of the city. It's the heart of the City. It's one of the original casino hotels. Vegas is not what it used to be. We were here the first week of October 2024. There are no longer cheap rates or good amenities. We didn't even have coffee in our room. I thought that was pretty standard for most hotels.
The view is spectacular, we opted for a stripped view and it did not disappoint. We could even see the Bellagio fountains.
The pool here at the Flamingo was under construction. For that I feel that we should not have been charged a resort fee. As we couldn't even enjoy the amenities that they do still have.
The flamingos were beautiful and we enjoyed taking pictures with them. They are behind an enclosure like a zoo.
I am in my forties and it is my first time in Las Vegas. I think I missed the boat with all of the cheap fun nonsense. Everything was extremely expensive. So keep that in mind when you are looking to come here.
And they still allow smoking everywhere, so if you are asthmatic or sensitive, you may want to wear a mask when you walk through the casinos.
All in all we did enjoy our stay at the flamingo. There were some things that I was looking forward to like the pool that did not pan out. We would stay here again if we ever needed to be in Vegas. But nobody really NEEDS to be in Vegas, right?

This turned out to be a good place to stay. I came for a gaming convention and this was within walking distance and was more affordable than other casinos. The room was a basic room but had a nice view. I picked that attraction view and glad I did. They were ripping up the pool area but thankfully I wasn't coming for that. The casino was nice. People seemed friendly and I used the self checkin kiosks so that was super easy. I did have issues using my room card to leave the parking lot And had to pay twice but a call to their billing department fixed that. But it was a pain dealing with it. Overall it a fine place to stay. Not too fancy and not bad.

Hi all! I had an awesome time! My Go Executive remodeled room was so cute! I loved the heated family pool, very cache with beautiful trees surrounding. Small but cozy. The large 21+ pool is under construction until aprox May of 2025...Good thing I didn't need that. (Is going to be awesome when finished I heard). Courtyard was BEAUTIFUL. A couple glitches with no phone costumer service at 530am and them not cleaning our room or replenishing towels etc (the one day we decided to not put our occupied sign on). Overall great experience.

I’m giving the Flamingo Hotel a 3-star rating, and that’s being generous. While the location deserves a 5 and the room itself was nice, the lack of basic amenities severely impacted my stay. For 4 out of the 5 days of my visit, there was no hot water. As someone who trains daily, this was a huge inconvenience. After working out, I’d return to my room only to find that the water was freezing cold. It wasn’t just after workouts either, when we went on a road trip and went hiking, we returned to find that we still had no hot water.
What made it even more disappointing was that we had three rooms booked. This issue really dampened our moods and took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. While they did waive some of the charges, it didn't fully compensate for the experience being ruined. It’s frustrating that their solution was to suggest I seek a refund through my travel agent, which isn’t the agent’s faul. They sold the service they were promised. The real issue was with the hotel itself. Overall, my stay at the Flamingo could have been much better if they had delivered on these basic needs.

We booked this hotel from Germany specifically for the adults-only pool (21+). At the reception, we were assured that the pool was open. Based on this information, we planned to celebrate my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary, both on the same day, at the pool and intended to book events. The following day, however, we discovered that the pool had been abruptly closed. This was extremely disappointing, but no one at the hotel seemed to take our concerns seriously. Despite the closure, it was still possible to book events online for the upcoming days, even though a sign at the pool stated that it would remain closed for the entire season. It feels as though something occurred that was not disclosed to guests.
For us, this was particularly frustrating, as we had booked this hotel all the way from Germany with this specific amenity in mind. The staff's indifference extended beyond the pool issue—when we requested housekeeping, our requests were ignored until I personally spoke to a member of the cleaning team, who eventually provided fresh towels and cleaned the room. Unfortunately, the front desk staff showed no interest in addressing the issue.
I have already emailed management regarding our experience, but as of now, I have received no response. While we will undoubtedly return to Las Vegas, we will not be staying at the Flamingo Hotel again. I strongly advise anyone traveling from Germany to consider other accommodations. Proceed with caution!
