We stayed at the hotel last year, and we had a wonderful stay. Firstly, the hotel has a great location, with so many local markets around it in addition to a selection of shopping malls. Secondly, the rooms were spacious, modern, had comfortable bedding, and they were always clean up to standards. Another factor that made our stay even better was the breakfast buffet: there was a huge variety of cuisines to satisfy the tastes of different cultures, and everything was delicious. Furthermore, the staff were very friendly, and they all always had a smile on their faces. It is definitely a hotel that I would recommend to anyone planning to go to Bangkok.

Gorgeous hotel. Really nice location in downtown Bangkok, central and opposite Platinum fashion mall, short walking distance. Rooms are gorgeous and staff are very friendly. Amazing breakfast too. I had a great time at Amari with the most exceptional service on every level. Ball was my Concierge Noy was my housekeeper extraordinaire. The food was delicious at the restaurant and everyone was very attentive to me. I highly recommend this hotel for proximity to all of the shopping. It is very easy to get a car service to go on excursions. I stayed a week and was able to accomplish all of my travel goals

As a returning patron who was thrilled to bring my family here, I must say it is NOT A FRIENDLY HOTEL! Never have I experienced such atrocious and disgusting behaviour from a staff when my 2 year old was having a meltdown, resulting to laying on the floor. The lady immediately came up to us and said "Please get him off the ground" (Like she was embarrassed to be seen with a 2 year old crying on the floor)
The lack of empathy and patience was staggering. As a paying customer, and a high 4.5 star hotel I expect better service, especially when traveling with children. The rooms were clean, but the staff's rudeness ruined our entire stay. Needless to say, we won't be back.

We stayed at Salil Hotel Riverside twice in one month, and were upgraded both times—the rooms were absolutely fantastic! It’s clear they've put effort into thoughtful design and high-quality materials.
Service throughout our stay was exceptional: everyone—from the reception staff and bellboys to housekeeping, breakfast team, and shuttle boat crew—was friendly, helpful, and professional.
The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options, including freshly made coffee upon request. The hotel offers its own shuttle boat service every hour to Icon Siam and Sathorn Pier, which we found very convenient and used frequently. The pool area was spacious and beautiful.
Our only minor issue was a slightly slow check-in process.
Overall, we loved our stay and highly recommend Salil Hotel Riverside!

The hotel service was very good. They were very kind. I don't remember the name of the bellboy who helped me get my luggage as soon as I got off the taxi, but I was grateful. You can also try on traditional Thai clothing for free. Mint, who helped me put on the mask, was very kind and grateful. The overall service was excellent, and the facilities included a swimming pool and fitness center. The room condition was also good. I highly recommend it. All the staff were very kind.

Wow. This hotel is spectacular! We visited from the USA and felt super VIP here. The concierge is very helpful, and the rooms were calm, quiet, clean. The staff was friendly and kind. The breakfast was also delicious offering a wide variety of American, Thai, and even Japanese cuisine to accommodate everyone. We also tried in room dining and the burger was very good along with the service.
The view from our deluxe riverside view room was spectacular! On our last night we got lucky and were even able to see fireworks from an event nearby right from our window.
The pool is so beautiful and relaxing, if you’re coming to Bangkok I would plan out an afternoon to relax at the hotel since it has so many amenities.
Included in our visit was an hour at their rooftop pool, the Rabbit Moon, where Harley took good care of us. He ensured that we were safe and had a relaxing treatment. I recommend giving this a try during your stay.
Another memorable part of our stay was dressing up in traditional Thai attire. Selene and Bew assisted us and took beautiful photos of us throughout the property. An experience we will never forget!
If I come back to Bangkok, which I plan to, I will stay here again! Wish we could have stayed more days!

An unforgettable stay !!! The hotel is fantastic, and the service truly exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time throughout our stay.
The breakfast spread was incredible—so many delicious options to choose from! A special shout-out to Noona, who warmly welcomed us and took care of us with such genuine hospitality. Her service was exceptional.
And another thing is we arrived at the hotel in the morning before the check in time but the team didn’t even hesitated to make the arrangements to give us an early check in. Special thanks goes to Boat and the team, especially boat gave us a high class service.
What really made this experience stand out was the people. Every staff member we encountered was kind, caring, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. It didn’t feel like they were just doing a job—they truly love what they do and treat the place as more than just a workplace.
I’ll definitely be coming back—not just for the facilities, but because of the amazing people who make this hotel feel so special.

Exceptional Experience
First time the actual experience was better than its advertisements, pictures, and reviews. The hotel's overall score of 9.0 on Agoda is way too low.
I don't really wanna repeat what other folks have said. They are all true.
Aside from those, two wow factors for me were attention to detail and professional yet friendly staffs (shout out to Sophia, Prim, Boat, and few other FO ladies sorry i forgot the name, and the concierge.),
The FO and especially the housekeeping team's uniform were best I've ever seen in my life. Just enjoying the beautiful design of the hotel with beautiful smell and the beautiful staffs with beautiful uniform made the difference for me.
It was my 10th trip to Bangkok and was my last but i think that i will for sure to return just to stay at the Salil.

What a fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️jungle pool resort, that bring joy to your soul making you realise the joy of life and spending moments with familly and friends. Somebody really work hard when designed this very beautiful place and from the moment you step in its smashing your feelings of being in holiday. You feel so welcome inside, people so friendly and plants and birds noises all the time its just simple beautiful. I always complain about pools but this one is way to amazing no wonder why you meet peopleinside that came to this place betwern 14 and 40 times..
Rooms are big , air condition works good showers, clean and good room service. Dont like the dull blue colour
Food its simple not to many options, we had breakfast included, but when we celebrate Songkran food was very nice and tasty.
Gym is just pointles it will be a better idea to make a place for kids to play.
Pool on top its good plenty of sunny to tan, but the real attraction is the main pool. Its juts fantastic.
Shops are just outside with a good size supermarket.
There is also a travel shop inside that we were able to find the best taxi deal as we have traveled a lot.
In the end highly recomended this place and for sure we will go back few more times

Do not stay at Kata Palm Resort. Our room had bedbugs, not termites as the hotel falsely claimed. This is a serious health issue. The sheets were stained with visible blood, which the staff later tried to say was “paint.” It was clearly concealed intentionally, which is both unsanitary and dishonest.
When we contacted Expedia, they agreed we were entitled to a refund — but said they needed the hotel’s approval. The hotel refused. They cited a “no refund policy,” as if that should apply even when they’ve provided a room that poses a health risk.
The staff apologized but took no real responsibility. Their handling of this situation was unacceptable. I would never return and I strongly warn others to stay away. There are much cleaner, safer, and more honest places to stay in the area.

3 star hotel at best. Room and bathroom is outdated, although clean enough. Would not recommend. The staff at the main pool bar are really not friendly or helpful at all. There’s one lady with a mask who is really plain rude, to say the least. In the restaurant where lunch is served, there was one lady who really went out of her way and was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name.
If you have to go there, don’t go full board as that’s throwing money away. The most tasteless food ever.
Just outside of the hotel in the main road, there are umpteen different restaurants and they are top quality.
Street food markets are everywhere and we regularly had dessert in the form of a fresh waffle cone with ice cream and banana in a cup, so you stay clean. Delicious.

A disappointing experience at Kata Palm Resort.
The reception staff was unfriendly, especially the late shift – no professionalism or friendliness. Upon our arrival, we were rushed so much that after a 12-hour flight, we had to carry our luggage ourselves without any help.
We got a room that smelled old and musty, the bathroom was awful, and the hygiene was inadequate. The towels were also old and terrible.
We only had breakfast at the hotel – and it was a complete disaster. During the 9 days we stayed here, the bread was never fresh, and the cold cuts, cheese, and cakes were left out from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM without any cooling or refrigeration.
One evening, we decided to have dinner at the hotel. The chicken was so tough that it was impossible to cut or chew. For dessert, we ordered pancakes and received the same ones that had been made for breakfast – fresh in the morning, stale by the evening.
The pool was nice, but not very clean.
Additionally, we asked at the reception for a late check-out, and they told us it wasn’t possible because new guests were arriving. But suddenly, they said we could do it if we paid 300 Baht per hour. What a scam!
Another huge disappointment: The reception never informed us about our scheduled meeting with the travel representative. Only a few days after our arrival, we received a letter saying that we had missed the appointment – even though nobody ever told us about it!
Overall: The reception – especially the late shift – was terrible, no hygiene, no professionalism. The only good thing was the hotel’s location – everything was nearby.

We are currently staying at this resort and it has exceeded all expectations in every way. Walked into a clean room, very spacious and a fantastic view. From the minute we arrived, hotel staff had beautiful customer service and welcomed us so warmly. It was an easy check in. Nan then took us (and all our luggage) up to our room, showed us around and was super kind and welcoming. We had the buffet brekky on our first morning where March had the best customer service and has continued to be so nice. I'm not sure the names of the ladies at the check in desk the night we checked in but they were so beautiful and welcoming too. Brought us drinks and icecream whilst we were checking in. The location is super convenient with lots of restaurants and a 5 minute walk to beautiful Kata Beach! This is an awesome hotel and we highly recommend. We will be returning again and again!

A Hidden Gem That Turned Our Trip Around!
After a truly traumatic experience at Kata Garden Resort, we were fortunate to find this incredible place, it was the complete opposite in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, pampered, and valued, exactly what we needed!
Our room was cozy, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable that we honestly didn’t want to leave it, a perfect retreat for us as a couple! We originally booked just a few nights, hoping to recover from our earlier ordeal, but we ended up staying nearly two weeks! We even canceled our other bookings because we were so happy here.
We were also celebrating my partner’s 50th birthday, which happened to fall on Valentine’s Day, and the staff made it truly unforgettable. The breakfast team surprised us by singing Happy Birthday, it was such a touching moment and meant the world to us.
The location is excellent, just a short walk to the beach and close to shops, yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind.
To all the wonderful staff: thank you for making our stay so special. We’ll always remember your kindness and hospitality. Highly, highly recommended! ♥️

This is a wonderful well-run hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is built on a hill overlooking the pools and Kata beach and there are a lot of steps to negotiate every day. Providing you are ok with this I would recommend this hotel.
Check in was a breeze and we were quickly shown to our room. We stayed in a Superior Room in block 3. I highly recommend these rooms as they are modern and nicely decorated. The bathroom is excellent. They have a large balcony.
Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and even staying there for 5 nights we didn't get bored with breakfast.
There are 2 modest swimming pools plus a toddler pool. And a smallish gym.
It's a short walk to the centre of Kata, there is a 7/11 store 5 mins walk away. There are plenty of choices of restaurants and bars nearby.

A very nice and clean hotel with a perfect location in Kata Beach. The buffet breakfast is very good. The employees took care of us from the first minute we arrived and were friendly and service minded all the way through. They go the extra mile. Both pools are really nice and our 4 year old loved it. The bbq buffet dinner was really nice as well. It is not the best hotel for a wheelchair user or a stroller, but we managed fine with the stroller anyway, and the employees are very helpful carrying it up and down the stairs. 2 adults and 2 kids, 10 months and 4 years old. Tip: Book directly through their website. Have fun and enjoy this beautiful place.

Whilst there are many things to like there are also many negatives. The room is clean and nice but since our arrival has not been cleaned properly, towels changed and bed made is all that happens. We were in section 3 which was seemingly the best they had to offer. If you struggle with stairs this is not the hotel for you. Pool towels are provided once. Most hang wet towels on their balcony to dry and if you choose not to do this, you will need to request a new towel. 2 pool side bars both of which were unattended. The breakfast is far from adequate. Most things in the Bain-Marie are minimal or cold, selection is basic and not done well. Requested poached eggs for 2 people and after waiting was told they would bring to our table. One lot of eggs turned up, however we never got the second lot of eggs even though it was confirmed another 2 on delivery of the first 2. Staff are lovely but are always on their phones and struggle to comprehend. Location is great with loads of restaurants, some better than others and laundry across the road is good. Clean, friendly 3 star hotel run on a tight budget

We stayed here with a group of friends after exploring other parts of Thailand. We wanted a place to relax and also somewhere which was within easy reach of all the tourist attractions of Phuket. We were upgraded to a poolside room this was clean and airy and was also just next to the beach. All the staff were helpful and friendly which made for a wonderful stay.

This resort is so good! The grounds, pools, rooms and restaurants are so clean and well maintained. Location is amazing! Love that it has beach access and perfect views of the sunsets. Buffet breakfast will not disappoint. 7/11 across the street. I also liked that the resort is basically smoking free except for one tiny section outside which is easily avoided. Would be willing to stay here again if I were ever returning to Bang Tao!

Not understanding the good reviews. The hotel is very old and worn, feels like a scene from the 80s. The facilities are really old and in need of refurbishment. There are broken tiles in the bathroom, the kids club is always unattended (in the rare event it is, the staff doesn’t engage the kids and only cares about her lunch break), the pool is also dirty. There is no elevator to all the rooms. Food in the restaurants are mediocre although breakfast has a decent spread.
The beach is ok, with enough sun beds for all. But you need to use a towel card to exchange for a towel - the cards like most of the hotel are old and worn.

Wow what a place! Very clean! The staff where amazing and very helpful! The food was very nice, the staff where helpful as we went with food allergies, they were able to accommodate our needs. We would definitely come back! Now the down point, the beds, not very comfortable and the plug sockets were a little bit temperamental. Apart from this perfect!

This is the most beautiful resort I have ever stayed at (3 times now!) it is situated right on the beach with beautiful tropical jungle like scenery & split levels with everything you could ask for. It is so peaceful and serene, the staff are friendly and attentive and the wildlife is amazing. We got to see frogs, lizards, birds and insects every day. There is a small shopping centre at the bottom of the resort road with restaurants, convenience stores, massage places & more and the locals are friendly and helpful. I literally dream about the breakfast buffet whenever I leave & the restaurants have a great variety of food & drink. If you’re thinking about booking here, just do it! The most amazing nature-friendly resort in Thailand. They care about nature and animals as well as their guests. The staff is extremely polite and always smiling and willing to help.
There are different activities every day that you can sign up for as well as different food buffets every night if you wish to try something different.
They offer a gym, a tennis court and a spa with massages and sauna. The pools are really nice and there is no huge crowds or people reserving all the sunbeds early in the morning.
For us the best part was the food which was absolutely amazing and the nature inside the resort, with a huge variety of animals. Also we went in March and there were almost no mosquitoes.

Fabulous hotel set in beautiful grounds. Rooms are lovely, clean and in keeping with the setting. Staff are very friendly. As a person who is coeliac and vegan, they were able to cater for me at breakfast and had a dedicated gluten free area that was covered to avoid cross contamination.
The immediate surroundings were limited with only a few restaurants etc, but a perfect place for a chilled few days

Had a 5 day stay here as part of a package. Hotel was amazing, lovely grounds and fantastic helpful staff who couldn't do enough to please. Food at restaurants was delicious and a great choice available. The location is fantastic with a lovely quiet beach with a gorgeous outlook. Couldn't fault it 5*

What a fabulous hotel. Everything and I mean everything was superb.
All the staff groundsmen, pool cleaner, bar staff, waiters and waitresses, reception staff, porters and cleaners couldn’t be more polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. They all work so hard and are happy with it.
A huge shout to the lovely Chatkamol the manageress, who went out of her way to be extremely helpful above and beyond. Thank you Chatkamol.

I couldn’t find fault with anything and if anyone says different they were incredibly unlucky or just like to moan about anything.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was always delicious. You could order everything, starting from international dishes all the way up to local Thai food.
The beach itself was also really nice and clean. Only the water was not as clear as you might expect from other Thai beaches, but that is actually the only and really tiny disadvantage we had.
So thanks again for everything, and we can highly recommend spending a vacation here.

We had a wonderful time during our family vacation. Tim and the guy with the biggest smile at the reception and tour booking - sorry, I don’t know his name - were so kind and polite, they tried to fulfill every of our wishes. They were incredibly attentive and always made you smile. All the other staff members were also very kind and made you feel truly comfortable at all times.
I can absolutely recommend this hotel.
A few rooms seem to have a moisture issue. There was no mold, but there was a damp smell in some of the rooms. However, we were immediately helped with this as well.

Same downfall as other Thailand hotels we stayed at... most of the staff don't speak English properly. It was frustrating.
The hotel was incredible. The rooms were so big and the balcony jacuzzi was a win. The buffet was off the chart exceptional. It was definitely a family-orientated hotel, but with many pool options. It's a chilled hotel without a lot of vibe and energy.
New Year was amazing there.

Had the most memorable visit to phuket, all the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful. The reception staff went above and beyond to help me find art works (even taking a drive on her way home to find the street), no request was a problem and always attended to quickly. The wait staff, the pool attendant's, security, cleaners and even the chefs were great with my children, always playful even when my boy was being a handful and making my toddler smile. They were a God send. I could not recommend the beautiful staff enough. Plus great entertainment for the kids with 3 pools, slides and movie nights.

Kata Beach is one of the best spots in Phuket for families, and OZO Phuket is ideally situated right in the heart of it. Overall, the hotel is excellent, though our Deluxe Sunset Room felt slightly smaller than expected. One odd thing—basic amenities like cotton slippers, an iron, an ironing board, and a drying rack weren’t in the room by default (which most hotels provide). However, when requested, they were delivered within minutes.
The breakfast offered a great variety of high-quality options, and the swimming pool facilities were fantastic, especially the kid-friendly slide. Service was impeccable throughout our stay.
The location couldn’t be more convenient—everything you need is right at the doorstep, from 7-Eleven and pharmacies to currency exchange and massage shops. The beach is just a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel’s back entrance.
I highly recommend OZO Phuket for families with kids and anyone who prefers a more relaxed vibe over crowded areas like Patong. A wonderful stay overall!

We ordered an extra bed for two rooms and both of them was terribly hard and the staff didn’t have any other options, so remember that if you need an extra bed ( the rooms king size bed was good) .

We had an amazing stay at Cape Panwa Hotel! The atmosphere in the local town was peaceful, family-friendly, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, always ready to help with anything we needed. A special shout-out to Maggie—she was incredibly kind, genuinely invested in our experience, and truly happy to hear we were enjoying our holiday. Her warmth made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

The room is quite big for solo travellers like me. I never thought that the ocean view had a super big room. Check-in was smooth. I had to wait around 10 minutes for the room to be ready. Going to the beach needs to take the mini train that the hotel provides.
The breakfast venue was superb. Ms LISA was very helpful and full of information about surrounding areas.
Their pineapple fried rice was the best I had.

We booked our stay through Aldi holidays and the inclusions we got were good, but as the stay continued you realised you weren't getting overly good value, especially the food and drink within your package as everything was to a set menu. However with the lunch or dinner each day we were quite limited to what we were able to eat - either European or Thailand which can be quite limiting if you don't eat certain foods etc, we did try one night at Top of the Reef, and felt very uncomfortable eating there, the staff stared the whole time and were extremely rushed! The inclusive cocktails were also very limited to our package and didn't offer much choice, so often we spent money buying off the inclusions list, which defeats having the cocktails included!
The staff at the Cape Panwa found, were extremely rude and at times very unhelpful and this was common among guests with how staff were. The staff members struggled to understand basic English, which left the conversation frustrating and often bluntly ignored. I would have thought some level of basic English would be a must for a resort even in a different country.
Due to language barriers, we had multiple issues throughout our stay, for example, we had booked the Thai cooking class for a Thursday, as soon as we arrived, however, come Thursday the staff informed us the cooking class only runs on a Friday. We were disappointed to have missed out and had been looking forward to this all week!
Changes to menus etc was often hard, again not being able to understand- personally I feel some staff played dumb and just couldn't be bothered trying.
The rooms itself were lovely- needed some repairs (I.e. mould, not thoroughly cleaned)
We were disappointed to have a balcony overlooking the ocean and not be able to take advantage of this due to concerns with mozzies in the area! A screened door on the balcony door would have meant we could allow fresh air in and not be worried about mozzies! Speaking of Mozzies the hotel sprays twice a week to keep numbers down, however, if you head down to the beach where the sister hotel is and other amenities it isn't this glamorous place they advertise. Stagnant water, horrible smells and of course influx of mozzies!! We only ventured down there once during our stay because of this.
Cape Panwa itself doesn't have a huge amount on offer, but you can get the complimentary shuttle down the hill and walk around, there is a 7 eleven, massage places a cafe (save your coffee fix for Old Phuket town- highly recommend Mondo!), every coffee we've had both at the resort and the cafe have been shit! Recommend One Family Massage, to the right where the shuttle drops you.
The hotel offers a return shuttle for 200 BHT to Old Phuket Town, we enjoyed this and found a few things to take home. As mentioned you have to stop at Mondo, THE only place for a great coffee!! There's a nice Japanese ice cream shop, that does sugar-free ice cream, recommend the Matcha ice cream!
Over all the stay has been good, but the staff and some food have let this holiday down! We probably wouldn't come back to this particular hotel / area.

I spent two dreamlike days at this hotel. As a fan of ITSAY, it truly felt like a dream come true.
The room was amazing, everything was spotlessly clean, the beach was very well maintained, and the staff were extremely kind.
Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to dine at Panwa House, but I did try the beach bar and had a fantastic lunch.
I really hope to come back soon.

Expectations for a 4.5/5 stars hotel were much higher than the reality.
An older hotel, with a nice beach.
Design of the rooms is mostly old, apart from some newer rooms.
We had to change the room twice due to a very noisy air conditioning. Receptionists did not try to actively solve the problem, which was a pity experience.
On a positive side: both swimming pool and the beach are quite nice.
On a negative side: very noisy A/C, poor service, high prices in the restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a very quiet area, and we loved the lush gardens and peaceful tropical vibes. Our garden bungalow was comfortable, spotless and well equipped with glass water bottles, a fully stocked mini bar, conditioner and body lotions. We’ve stayed in a lot of resorts and it’s these small details that really make a stay memorable. All the staff were very friendly, the food was really good and all of the pools were clean. The resort never felt crowded, it was very spacious. Our private beach dinner was an amazing experience and the waiting staff really looked after us. We would highly recommend this place and stay again!

Property: Room is lovely and spacious, we booked private pool villa. Wish there weren’t so many steps, You have to go up and down to the lobby and restaurant all the time.
Beach is nice and private.
Bar has very slow service, as good as no service.
Breakfast: Very basic, no vegetarian options.
If you are vegetarian you can only have fruits and breads.
Service: Very disappointing service, the phone in the room wasn’t working for the first 3-4 days so you cannot order anything, the fancy app is good for nothing. Half of the time it doesn’t work. The lady at the reception keeps asking to order and ask everything on app but takes forever to send/ receive msgs. The housekeeping only cleans the room if you inform them. Repeatedly have to call and remind them.
I have stayed at other Centara properties but never coming back here.
We are staying here for 2 weeks, still another week to go but feel stuck and not happy with our stay at all. Not good if you are looking to just chill at the resort with some in room dining!

Stairs: if you struggle with stairs or have accessibility requirements avoid this hotel. There are so many stairs and they are quite sharpe around the edges. I wouldn’t want to take a tumble on them.
Location: not the best, not loads going on, other than the cool bar (which is not part of the hotel) we went to most of the time as the vibe was better there over the hotel.
Bed wars: yes this is a thing, towels on the bed first thing in the morning and a real lack of shade. We went to the end of the beach and laid on the sand. I think there were around 10 parasols for the whole resort and those which were available
Could do with updating.
Service: We asked for our clothes to be washed and our laundry was left outside for 24 hours so we had it cleaned at our next hotel. Real lack of staff and compared to other hotels they wasn’t the best. Probably due to lack of staff and being over worked.
In my opinion the hotel is very tired and needs some serious updating. It’s not as clean as other resorts and it could do with some new beds and parasols for the beach and pools. The cover over the restaurant is black with mould which is a small thing to update. Our room had a leaking air conditioning unit and sheets felt gritty.
Bar: one evening there wasn’t any glasses or cold beers. It was bedlam and clearly not enough staff.
The glasses were over flowing. It was grim.

We had just an amazing time here. It was the perfect getaway from the chaos of the city. The place was beautiful, the staff were incredibly friendly and their service beyond expectations. The food was so delicious and the views, especially at dawn, were just incredible. It was a bit far from the urban areas but that’s kind of the point, and there were shuttles so it never was an issue.

Absolutely loved our stay! We met the most kind and hospitable staff. I love how small the resort is, it wasn’t busy when we came either. The room was very nice and super clean, we had a family suite on the top floor with a beautiful view. The breakfast was nice each morning with the open dining room by the water! Leave this fabulous resort tomorrow, arrived here 20/4/25, its our third visit. Location is fabulous right on a stunning beach. Rooms are clean and roomy and literally metres from the beach. The staff are wonderful so helpful and happy, they really do make the stay even better. We’l be back next year all being well. Highly highly recommend this wonderful resort.

I am not typically one to write negative reviews, however I was disappointed in our stay at Chaba Cabana. My boyfriend & I traveled all over Thailand for 3+ weeks and were both looking forward to finishing our long trip by spending time on the beach in Koh Samui before flying home. The resort advertises a private beach… which is not at all the case. The ocean comes right up to the property wall so there is no sand to lounge or walk on like in the photos advertised on the website. We had to travel off of the advertised “beach resort” every day to enjoy the beach!
I will note that our room was very clean and the staff at reception were kind and helpful. However, the staff in the restaurant and by the pool all seemed to be miserable, no one smiling or happy to assist you. Everything we asked for seemed like an inconvenience to them.
We will not be staying here again, & advise others to stay at a beach resort further down Chaweng if you actually want to be on a beach, not just at an oceanfront property.

It’s not worth the money! You are not allowed to sit somewhere except your room and have beer or drinks what you did not buy for double price from them!!! If the see is high level you are not allowed to go to the see. There is no enough sun beds and everyone putting towels from ye night and you don’t have any chance to get one. The restaurant and the food the realy bad and everyday the same!! Staff dose not understand English except in the reception!

My stay at Grand Mercure Phuket Patong was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and the stylish ambiance of the hotel. The location is ideal—just a short walk to Patong Beach, Bangla Road, and lots of shopping and dining options, yet the hotel itself feels peaceful and private.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a modern Thai touch. I especially loved the pool access room—it was such a treat to step right into the water from my terrace. The pool area is gorgeous, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the tropical vibes.
Breakfast was a highlight of each morning. The buffet was extensive, with a great mix of Western and Asian dishes, fresh fruits, pastries, and live cooking stations. The staff were attentive and always smiling, which made the whole experience even better.
What really stood out was the level of service—every staff member I interacted with was genuinely helpful and accommodating. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or family, this hotel hits the mark in comfort, location, and hospitality.

Birthday and when we arrived the bed was decorated there was a complimentary drink and birthday cake which I thought was a lovely touch. We had a superior suite and a superior double room. Both were spacious. The hotel itself is so clean, modern room and a great location. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and the quality of food was really good. All around great experience and we will be staying again.

Excellent experience here! We went to the Bubbles restaurant on the hotel’s first floor for some very serviceable food - the cocktails and mocktails were a highlight. Deer, Nan and Aor were very delightful servers and added to our evening.
Very nice pool, no notes. We borrowed lots of beach towels at the front desk, excellent front desk staff!
Our room was nice, but humidity and the older design made it feel on the small side. However, this was made up for with the service. We had an issue with our room, and not only was it rectified quickly, we also received a complimentary fruit platter from room service, which was completely unexpected.

Overall, the hotel is located along and near Jungceylong mall in Patong which offers unparalleled convenience if you need to get anything at the mall. Check-in was professionally handled by the front office staff, and a breeze. Room is reasonably sized and the pool is welcoming for the kids. Grab was fast when called, to the pick up point at the hotel as they have many cars waiting outside. The hotel is also walking distance, ie less than 10 mins from the beach. And the breakfast served amazing fried rice that we had everything, a must try!
Overall, it was a good stay for a family. The only downside is that it is way too crowded with tourists in Patong, which is not the fault of the hotel. Recommended!

The hotel has a great location, close to the beach and shopping centers. However, it is an older property that could use better maintenance. Some of the room furniture appears worn out, and the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. For example, the cups and spoons provided for tea service had visible stains.
On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety of options. However, we were not satisfied with the hotel’s seafood buffet dinner. The hotel has a large swimming pool and a beautiful green outdoor area, making it a nice place to relax.
The front desk staff were helpful and provided clear information. The pool-access rooms seem appealing, but the humidity and chlorine smell might be bothersome.
Overall, we had a good stay, but considering the five-star rating and the price, there is room for improvement.

By far our favorite hotel during our 3 weeks and 6 hotels here in Thailand. The service is impeccable. It is truly like nothing I’ve ever experienced. They focus on “customer service” here and even have a customer relations team.
The food was great, the views are amazing, the rooms are comfortable, the hospitality is top notch and the island is so quiet and relaxing, but still has great bars and restaurants

Amazing hotel and amazing staff, felt like 5* treatment from the moment we arrived at Cape Kudu, with the staff really going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We stayed for 5 nights and could have stayed longer!! Free daily activities are provided too which were great especially during the wetter days of the monsoon season such as cooking and painting.
We also did the shared 3 island boat trip and the private 4 island trip provided by the hotel which was the best day of our holiday!
Food and drink were very good, although slightly more expensive when compared to other local options! The 4-5pm happy hour was great appreciated at the hotel and there were lovely local restaurants we ate out in each night less than a 3 minute walk away!
The on site spa was beautiful and Mai provided the most amazing relaxing Thai massage

We visited this hotel during spring break and I can’t tell you how much we loved this property! Is a secluded hidden gem! We specially loved their breakfast buffet- particularly the chicken bacon and poached eggs which were perfectly cooked by their head chef! We stayed for two nights and chose to dine at the hotel because the food was amazing! We tried their curries and their delicious mango sticky rice, which is a MUST- you won’t be disappointed! We absolutely loved their neat nest-box prepared for their local hornbill, which is right in front the restaurant/pool. It was a spectacular sight watching him up close feeding his chicks! We honestly recommend using the hotel private hotel shuttle to Phuket-you get a shuttle from the hotel to the pier in a private boat and a fancy transfer once you arrive at the Phuket private dock.
We loved our stay and the amazing staff. Kudos to their attentive staff from the kitchen and room attendants, spa staff and to the front desk who helped us with all our needs! We will definitely visit again when we return to Thailand!

We loved our stay at Cape Kudu! We managed to book a Pool Villa and the property was just wonderful. The pool at our room was so private and the suite itself was very comfortable and wonderful. The spa was really beautiful and we had great massages. We rented scooter next door and had a great day riding around. They have a beach area but it's more just a small area with sand, swimming was not the best in that location. But the great pools, breakfast buffet, food and bakery all made up for it.

This is my second time staying here but my partner and his family have been coming for years. A truly lovely place to stay and the staff are good at what they do!
The rooms are spacious and the air con is absolutely beautiful after a long day in the sun. Towels can be changed daily if you want them to be, cleaning happened at different points every day but they were never in the room when we were. When we arrived we had a bowl of fruit waiting for us and fresh water left daily.
There is a shuttle bus and boat that frequent between the canal village and other areas around the Laguna free of charge. Makes the journey more exciting. Just be sure to check times. The boat is roughly every 30 minutes. The shuttle bus is more frequent.
It really is a lovely place. We stayed during non peak this time and it felt like we were the only people here.

Wow wow wow, we are checking out today and we are absolutely devastated our entire trip has been made so much better by this beautiful hotel and the amazing reception, hospitality and cleaning staff, we even had a birthday cake delivered to the room for her 7th birthday. For our family holiday this has been absolutely perfect, I couldn’t recommend this more. The hotel is a little out of the way but with the “bolt” app (like Uber) it took that problem away, we requested a later checkout due to a late flight and young children and this was not a problem for them (subject to availability for others obviously)
We had a half board package and the food was delicious, great breakfast choices.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite which was superb.
I am sad to be leaving, we will 100% return in the future.

Our short stay at Paradise Beach Resort Samui was a wonderful escape, especially for a family that loves to stay active. The resort has two pools, which quickly became our kids’ favorite hangout. We also appreciated the chance to use free kayaks and bicycles—paddling around was surprisingly easy, and the bike rides offered a quick way to explore nearby lanes.
Our room felt spacious, allowing us to spread out without feeling cramped. The staff was generally helpful and everything ran smoothly. The laid-back atmosphere allowed us to recharge, and our kids came home with plenty of stories to share. If you enjoy a bit of adventure mixed with relaxation, this place fits the bill.

Had a wonderful stay at this resort! The campus is calm and beautifully maintained, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The room interiors are simple yet aesthetic, adding to the overall relaxing vibe. The resort offers two great swimming pools and direct beach access, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast buffet was good, though vegetarian options were limited. However, the chef went above and beyond—after realizing the limited choices, he personally came to speak with me and even prepared special vegetarian Thai noodles without any request. Later, he checked in again and offered to make stir-fried veggies, which was a really thoughtful gesture.
Room service could have been better—towels were not replaced even after being left on the floor, and water bottles were not restocked unless we requested them at the reception.
Despite this, the overall experience was really good

We’ve loved the gorgeous beach, fantastic location, and our facilities and stay in Beach Villa #105—it’s been a wonderful 7 days relaxing experience.
A couple of minor improvement suggestions, if we may?
A gym would be a great addition. There’s a fantastic running route up to the waterfall and jungle road, but we feel the resort is missing a basic gym. It looks like you have the space for one, and it would really enhance the guest experience.
Breakfast food warmers need attention and daily checks. On three mornings around 7:30 AM, the food warmers hadn’t been turned on or some way to low, meaning some dishes weren’t at the right temperature for us to safely enjoy. No one wants cold beans or tepid hot dishes! We mentioned this to both reception and restaurant staff, but sadly it kept happening.
Cooking Poached eggs could be handled differently. Perhaps only from a Western perspective, poaching eggs in the same water used for Hard boiling eggs—even if they’ve been washed (?) —feels a bit unhygienic. A separate pan for poaching would make a big difference.
These are just small tweaks that could elevate an already excellent experience. Huge thanks to Nam at the front desk and the entire team at Paradise Beach Resort. We would absolutely return to Villa 105!

Hotel is in a more secluded part of Koh Samui but it’s only a 10min ride to Fisherman’s Village and 20mins to the bustling city of Chaweng. Rooms are spotless and we stayed in a garden villa, only a few steps to the bar and the beach so the perfect spot!!! Staff were extremely friendly and attentive and really looked after us. Shout out to the bar staff for their awesome cocktails 🍹. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing, easy stay with stunning views.

Great location, super staff, clean rooms, lovely food, access to really nice beach, great cocktails from the beach shacks, and good choice of beach bars. Easy walk with flip flops along the beach north or south to the beach bars with live music in the evenings.
The hotel would be better if they had a separate adults only pool as there were too many kids, balls and inflatables! The pool was lovely and quiet until 10am but busy after that and did not offer a relaxing vibe.
Shade was welcome but think the whole ambience would improve if the trees were thinned out.
Reception staff exceptional and massage team in hotel garden were amazing and we had a massage treatment with them every day!
Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed our five days in this beautiful and welcoming resort very much. The Dusit Laguna resort beachfront has a direct access to the outstanding white sanded beach. The beach is very clean and well maintained. The sea water was clean and is deep enough and therefore the ultimate choice for the advance swimmers. There is a large pool with a separate area are for the kids. The resort offers a choice of different restaurants, shops and facilities. Our rating therefore 👉🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 😊👍

Unfortunately, the reception staff and the GM seemed very focused on older guests, which made us, as a younger couple, feel a bit ignored. This was a downside to an otherwise great stay.
Dining on the sand at the beach restaurant was a fantastic experience as well as the great thai restaurant! The breakfast was also very good, with a great variety of options and fresh ingredients.
The rooms were spacious and clean, and I really enjoyed the beautiful sea view. Housekeeping did a great job keeping the rooms clean and well-maintained. The hotel itself is also very spacious, with plenty of lush greenery, plants, and trees, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. I truly appreciated this aspect of the stay.
The gym was decent, offering the basics for a workout.
Overall, a beautiful beachfront location with great dining experiences and wonderful service.

Generally, a great stay. Beautiful hotel with an excellent spot on the beach. Amenities were also great. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Prime location if you want to be close enough to all the Chaweng action but far enough to unwind.
Room was a little dusty and initial set of bed sheets had a bad smell when first checked in. Staff were quick to assist. A bit pricier than similar options.

My first time staying at this resort, not too far from Central Samui Mall and resort is right at the beach. Enjoyed the morning walks on beach after breakfast. I like to mention, Staff Kate. She’s amazing and a great asset to the team. Her warmth and smile brightens the day. She remembers our drinks right when we order on day 1 and on one of the days when we didn’t order she ask if we want any. She went beyond the service, if any she deserves a good reward from the hard work and effort. Look forward to be back.

OZO hotel surprised us beyond belief. We arrived without a booking and were immediately kindly helped.
We were taken to two rooms to see what we thought of them. Immediately chose a good room and enjoyed breakfast in the morning. Very extensive and everything hot until 10.30.
The pool is slightly on the warm side but with 30 degrees outside, you can understand that.
It is a super hotel, everything is clean and tidy. Contrary to all the reviews, we definitely want to come back here. Next time on Samui.

We got married at this resort and it was amazing. The team who helped us plan our wedding were incredible. The staff who served us were always so nice and I think genuinely wanted us to have a nice time. The beach is perfect for a wedding because we didn’t have anyone wonder into our wedding. Our two bedroom suite was beautiful. We used the resort babysitting service and the baby sitter was so nice and really looked after our son like her own. The food was good and the cocktails nice. There is nothing we didn’t like. We will return one day and spend more time relaxing at this beautiful resort.

We stayed in the beachfront pool villa, which was spacious and beautifully designed with a well-thought-out layout and modern décor. The villa featured a cozy daybed, perfect for relaxing, and had a wonderful atmosphere.
The hotel is located right on the beach, with a sandy shoreline ideal for a peaceful walk. Dinner at the seaside restaurant was delicious, and breakfast was excellent. The recreation staff was superb—we truly enjoyed all the activities, especially the stunning morning walk.

We had a week stay at Avani, unfortunately most it was days filled with rain so this may have a negative impact on my review. The 2 bed beachfront villa was lovely and suited our family. It's very spacious and very relaxing. The restaurant was a bit slow with bringing out meals but we enjoyed our meals nevertheless.
The staff are lovely, were very kind and interacted with my daughter which was enjoyable to see.
However this is a small hotel in a very rural area so if it's raining there really isn't anything to do and you do need a taxi to go anywhere else.
I would also say that the beach is not nice at all. It's a small port for the local community so there's a lot of boat pollution and in the morning they all run their engines. You can not sit on the beach and enjoy the views. You need to walk further along the beach to be able to swim without being in polluted water. so we couldn't really take our daughter in. Perhaps when the weather is better they might move on but it was very unpleasant and because of that I think the price point is far too high. If they were able to improve this then I really think it would be such a enjoyable relaxing stay.

Rooms - large and clean. A little dated but cleaning staff do a great job.
Location - outside the hustle and bustle, relaxed and enjoyable. I'd say family friendly.
Service - Robin at the tiki bar is amazing, great person and very helpful. He has made my trip. English is good and he goes the extra mile to help and accommodate your needs. 5 stars for Robin!
Spa - Beautiful spa run by Hatairat, she should run the whole hotel! Perfect English, beautiful and knows how to find out what the guests needs are. Relaxing, clean and perfect service by Faa (new enployee). She hit all the right spots and provided a professional massage. I loved it!
Reception - English could do with some work (maybe promote Hatairat to manger) but tried hard. Friendly, some extra training would be great.
Overall - great experience, i would recommend this place to stay and would come back. Robin and Hatairat were amazing and these two people can made a big difference in my stay, thank you.

We had an amazing time here. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality. The highlight of our stay was definitely the Kids Club. Our children had an absolute blast with the wide range of activities provided. Tina and David were incredibly friendly and professional, and they made sure the kids were entertained and well looked after.
The Kids Club had everything from arts and crafts to fun games and themed events, and we were able to enjoy some relaxing time knowing our kids were in safe hands.
It’s the perfect getaway for families looking for both relaxation and fun for the little ones. We’ll definitely be returning!

Stayed here with the family 2 weeks ago, fantastic resort with amazing staff, location is the best in Ao Nang Beach.
Rooms great, spacious and very comfy. Both pool areas trilliant for all ages, the hotel is absolutely immaculate and staff are constantly keeping that way.
Dont get the moans and groans about the stream that runs through a few buildings of the hotel, there is hardly a smell at all and if there is what you expect when rain runs from the hills in this heat.
Me and my family hope to be back next year

It deserves the high ratings/reviews on here. Our whole family came here, 5 adults 3 kid, for 4 days. It's got that perfect blend of fun for the kids but nice and relaxing for the adults. Room was real nice, food was great, pools were lots of fun. Kids eat for free at the beach restaurant. The food prices are a bit expensive but it's delicious and cheap if kids eat free.
The maid service was friendly and did great work.
The event coordinators, David and Tina, were awesome. They were always around the hotel with fun activities for the kiddos.
It's a well run hotel. All of the staff seemed happy to work here and did a great job.

We booked a vacation for a week. We took the suite called 2 bedrooms and a living room. The room is spacious and very comfortable. We are a family of 5 and it suited us perfectly. The room is next to the pool and the beach. The staff welcomed us courteously and quickly. A bowl of fruit and all kinds of nice snacks were waiting for us in the room. The breakfast is excellent, the atmosphere is very relaxed and quiet. The location is excellent, close to everywhere.

Enjoying Our Stay at Amari Koh Samui!
We’re currently staying at Amari Koh Samui and having a wonderful time. The reception staff have been amazing—so welcoming, helpful, and always happy to assist with anything we need. The room is beautiful, and the overall atmosphere is very relaxing.
Just one small note: as guests with halal and vegan dietary needs, we asked for our omelet to be cooked separately from meat items (especially pork). Due to a bit of a language barrier, the same pan and spoon were washed and reused rather than switching to a fresh set. We understand it may have been a communication issue, but a bit of extra training around dietary requirements could really enhance the experience for guests like us.
That said, we’re still really enjoying our time here—it’s a lovely resort with great service!

Really lovely hotel, we had a poolside garden room, room was massive, bed really comfy, only issue with the room is the wardrobe is quite small.
The hotel is really nice, 3 decent sized pools, lots of sun beds with lots of availability. There are also sunbeds on the beach, hotel is immaculately clean.
The staff are lovely, very helpful. We were only on breakfast basis, the breakfast buffet is lovely, lots of choice, and lots of fresh food.
Location wise, it’s only a very short walk into chaweng, where there are lots of bars and restaurants and shopping

The staff went above and beyond, big thanks to Nat, Min Min, Aung, Andy, Win, Soe Moe, and JT.
The menu was very good, and the Thai night dinner was amazing. Breakfast was incredibly versatile with so many options, and the bar by the pool was great.
We truly appreciated the free airport transport and the convenience of free shuttle buses to Fisherman's Market. The tour packages were superb, including trips to Pig Island, Pink dolphins, and zipline. Plus, consistent housekeeping kept our room perfect.

We really enjoyed our time here. The adults-only atmosphere made it feel extra peaceful, and the whole resort is set up to help you slow down. The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the pizza, which we ended up ordering more than once. The staff were kind and thoughtful throughout. Plus, the co-working area with desktops and a printer was a nice surprise.
It’s the kind of place where you can easily stay in for days without getting bored. Whether you’re working a bit or just relaxing by the pool, it all feels effortless.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. The property was extremely clean, beautifully renovated, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making the entire experience seamless from check-in to check-out.
The pool was a highlight — stunning, with an attached bar that made it even better. Although I didn’t personally use it, I appreciated that the resort had a dedicated working area for meetings, a great option for those blending business with leisure. Breakfast each morning was divine, offering an impressive variety of delicious options.
What I loved most was the unbeatable location just steps away from the beach, along with the fact that the resort had everything we could possibly need right on-site. It made the stay even more relaxing knowing we never had to worry about anything.
The fisherman village was not that far by taxi or scooter.

We have had the most wonderful time at this lovely resort and are sad to be leaving. All of the staff were very helpful and kind, shout out to Andy, Dee Dee and Joey for their attention whilst at the restaurant or bar, obviously we drank!!! Cocktails were great, wine list good and food exceptional. There is just the one restaurant but they make the most of different theme nights with different food. We were lucky to have been here for Songkram so had a fabulous thai feast that night and also the sizzling Thai night.
We have had some great days out and a fab evening at the night market, however my daughter would have been happy to stay at the hotel permanently!!
We also enjoyed a massage which was fantastic and would highly recommend.
Some beautiful views and for those concerned about the wall at the pool, we were, it actually provides some well needed shade in the afternoon and doesn't impede any views either.
Excellent resort, excellent staff and an excellent holiday!

Everything about our stay was amazing!
There are 2 communal pools, one is in the middle of the resort and very calm, the other is by the beach and has the pool bar where the majority of the guests go.
The accommodation was beautiful, we had our own pool and I loved the outdoor shower!
The staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation and private pool were cleaned daily and there were daily sweet treats left for us.
The food was delicious. There was a lot of choice for the buffet breakfast, Continental and Asian options.
The resort has two restaurants, both served outstanding food by outstanding staff.
We would definitely go back.

My wife and I spent the last part of our honeymoon here, and it was fantastic. The staff were professional and very polite, the grounds and facilities immaculate, and our room very much felt like it belonged in a 5 star resort. We wished we could've stayed longer than 3 nights, and will hopefully return in the near future.
Note that the resort is a fair walk from the main tourist hubs on Ko Samui, but cabs are cheap and the resort has free shuttle trips at set times during the day. Didn't bother us at all, as the pools, spa and restaurants at Melati were more than sufficient for us.

We stayed at Melati Hotel as a couple with our 1.5-year-old daughter and had a fantastic experience. We wanted a spacious room with a living area, and the only option available was a pool villa. We were initially concerned about safety for our child, but the hotel went above and beyond by sending a team of carpenters to build a safety fence around the pool. They did this without compromising the aesthetics of the space—truly exceptional service! It's worth noting that this option is only available for specific types of pool villas.
The staff at Melati were outstanding—always smiling, attentive, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warm and professional approach truly enhanced our stay and made us feel incredibly welcome.
Beyond that, the hotel is absolutely stunning. The lush greenery, complete with birds and squirrels, makes it feel like you're in a jungle paradise. The rooms are of a very high standard—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options.
One small note: in the suite level we booked, I would have expected a rainfall showerhead instead of a standard one, but this minor detail did not affect our overall experience.
We highly recommend Melati Hotel and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay!

Melati is a truly breathtaking resort, the infinity pool leading on to the beach is so luxurious, both resort restaurants were soo delicious! The rooms are spacious and clean, the employees are all very kind and helpful, I don’t have a single complaint! A small piece of advice though, theres is a near by hotel by a similar name, our taxi took us to the wrong place to begin with, it wasn’t a huge issue but double check with your driver before you take off to avoid the same problems!

Staying at Melati in Koh Samui was a mixed experience. Despite the picturesque gardens and a cozy villa upgrade, we encountered issues with room maintenance, like faulty lighting and poor water pressure, and sink drainage which dampened our experience. Resolving these issues required persistent effort, and while we appreciated the eventual room upgrade and complimentary amenities, the service remained slow and inattentive. Overall, while the resort's setting is lovely, the service fell short of expectations, leaving a less-than-smooth impression.

I’ve stayed in many resorts around the world, but this hotel will leave me with amazing memories. The normal rooms are lovely, but we upgraded our room to a 1 bedroom pool villa, and if it was available we would have got the pool villa with beach view as your villa leads onto the beach with private access. The general pool villa’s are outstanding. Very near main pool and main restaurant. Had a great experience, kids loved it, staff were very helpful and friendly. Jet ski and water sports just a 5 minute walk down the beach from the hotel beach bar. When sitting at the breakfast tables, the views of the ocean are just breathtaking. Seats and lounge chairs always available to sit, have food and drink and gaze into the ocean. The views alone is worth every penny. Location was great, right near the fisherman’s village (walking distance) - so many restaurants, bars and beach clubs in that village. I couldn’t recommend the peace resort enough, my wife and kids have already said we’re coming back again in the future when we return to Koh Samui.

I recently stayed at NH Collection Samui Peace Resort for 3 nights, and just like its name, it was truly peaceful. The resort feels like a beautiful garden — within just a short walk, you can reach the pool, the restaurant, and the beach. The entire property is very well maintained.
Upon check-in, I was given a villa that was quite far from the pool and beach. After getting lost while trying to walk back from the beach, I asked the staff if I could move closer, and they immediately found a new room for me on the same night. The staff were so helpful and kind, even assisting me with moving my luggage.
Every staff member provided excellent service at a high standard. Even though I was among the few Thai guests, I was treated with the same professionalism as every other guest.
Next to the lobby, there’s a saloon that serves great coffee during the day and turns into a cozy bar at night.
The beach is clean and well set up with chairs. The only minor downside was that the pool area tended to be quite busy, making it a bit tricky to find a free sunbed sometimes.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious — full 5 stars from me — with a variety of Western and Asian options.
There’s also a happy hour in the evening, perfect for relaxing with a drink.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay, perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. Just note that the hotel is a bit far from Chaweng Beach if you’re looking for a lively party scene.

My husband and I stayed here recently and had a great experience!! Everyone was so lovely!! The room was clean, breakfast was great, location was central. Lots to do! Massages were easy to book and well priced too! It was just a beautiful resort!
We even did a cooking class at the resort and it was a wonderful experience.
Special mention to one of the worker named “X”. He was so sweet and always chatty and made us feel very welcomed.
So sad we had to leave!

The public facilities are excellent, because of the size of the hotel you can hardly notice the hotel occupancy. The dining area is huge as well as the beach grounds.
The health center if perfect and well equipped.
Breakfast is excellent with a wide variety, the service staff very helpful and polite. I specifically would like to mention SONG, always smiling and helpful.
The hotel manager NOTE delt with requests with a lot of patients and good solutions.
The resort location is excellent, next to restaurants, massage, 7/11, market money exchange and most importantly walking distance from the Fisherman Market that it’s good to go to even on days the market is close, there are a lot of good restaurants and bars.

I am rating the NH Collection Resort with an overall 2 star, as it should be. This is definitely NOT a 5 star establishment. As I am wondering where to begin, with describing our experience, I would start with the fact that the positioning of the villas gives you zero peace and privacy, contrary to the name of the resort. As early as 8 a.m., begins a significant traffic from housekeepers, gardeners and all kinds of hotel staff, circulating around the villas and talking (in some cases shouting) loudly. Forget about sleeping in for a single morning. This brings me to the fact that next our villa, there was a “hub” for maid-carts and gardeners and with the noise aside, you could not sit on the porch to work or chill, as there was constant pressure of someone circulating around you.
The villas were generally outdated and poorly kept, as you could see on the pictures. It seems they did try to do some kind of maintenance, but unsuccessful. The rooms smell strongly of mold and are extremely humid. There is no air flow around the complex, as the villas are so crammed, which does not leave the option to sleep with open windows/door. You would think that you could sleep with air con on, but take another guess. The air con was from another era, old, worn out and extremely noisy. Even when working all day, as soon as you switch it off, the cool air escapes the rooms, through the wooden cracks in the front door. So you just sleep and stew in your our sweat all night.
The housekeeping of the rooms is also overall poor, with zero attention to detail. We were given stained towels twice. The staff is very poorly trained, mostly unfriendly and badly mannered.
The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety, however the coffee is just horrible, the overall traffic at breakfast is heavy and the cool room with fruit, vegetable and cold cuts, is no longer cool and fresh two hours into breakfast. The dinner/lunch menu at the restaurant is also not the best. The food extremely tasteless, with no authenticity and character.
I would like to move onto the pool and beach, which are both extremely overcrowded. The pool has like a 100 crammed sunbeds and there is no circulation of air around it. The beach looks nothing like the pictures - there are two roles of 20+ sun beds each. The sand is just horrible and the water is foggy and looks dirty. Forget about the turquoise water and ivory sand you see from the photos of the NH website. SCAM!
The bike rental service which the hotel offers sucks and the helmets are extremely dirty.
Please note that the hotel is situated on a main road with significant traffic. At night you can hear, motorbikes and sirens from the rooms.
I am sure that I am forgetting something from our overall experience at the NH resort, but I will just conclude that these were 9 extremely long nights.

I’m deeply thankful to the resort management for celebrating my birthday with me. They made it truly memorable with kind words, warm wishes, and a beautifully decorated room that touched my heart. It turned into one of the most unforgettable days of my life.
Sadly, today is my last day at SAii Resort. But the four nights I spent here were among the most beautiful in my life. I created lasting memories—and SAii played a huge role in making those moments so special.

The rooms were always spotless, with prompt and precise housekeeping. Fresh towels were constantly available. The in-room service through the app chat was fast, easy, and extremely convenient.
I loved having access to both private and public pools, along with a gorgeous beach for swimming.

Just back from an 8day stay and had the most amazing time. The hotel is lovely and set in beautiful surroundings. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. It’s a relatively small hotel so never felt busy and had a really relaxed atmosphere. It’s in a quiet part of the island, but only 10 min in a taxi to busier areas if you are looking for a night out. Wish I had booked a longer stay.

How can you not give five stars to this amazing hotel? From the moment we arrived, Santiburi impressed with its outstanding breakfast, genuinely warm and helpful staff, beautiful beach, and overall relaxing atmosphere. The team goes above and beyond—so much so that I have to mention the staff twice.
There was a slightly bumpy start before arrival due to some miscommunication about requesting a non-smoking room. However, once we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel creates such a serene, luxurious bubble that you need to remind yourself to venture out and soak in the authentic, hands-on Thailand experience.
One thing to note: during our stay, there was a local temple festival (held once a year), about 600 meters away. It brought festive energy—but also loud music, including hard rock and drum-heavy performances, lasting until midnight. On two of the four nights, it did make falling asleep a bit of a challenge.
That said, Santiburi is still a clear recommendation. If you're looking for a peaceful, high-end escape with amazing service and a gorgeous setting, this place truly delivers.

Buggy’s available around the resort too. The gardens are stunning, every villa feels private and there is so much wildlife along the river that runs through the property too and the ponds with stunning flowers as well. Great kids club.

Our wedding was fabulous on the beach, and at the beach house restaurant. We would have loved for it to go later past 11.30pm, everyone was loving their time so much.

We stayed in a beachfront pool villa in December. Despite it being the monsoon season, we had a truly amazing time. The rooms were spacious and always clean, the staff were kind and helpful, the food was delicious - and the happy hours definitely added to the experience! Santiburi is a must do accommodation in Koh Samui. From the moment we arrived Dream made us welcome and our room was above what we expected. Our anniversary celebration enhanced by the endless surprises of beautiful treats. Champagne, chocolate cake and delicacies were in abundance! Our room complimented the celebrations with an amazing display on our bed. The ambiance, tranquility and serenity of the Santiburi grounds has far outweighed our expectations. We spent part of our honeymoon here. One of the best vacations we’ve ever had.
1. Location - the beach is clean and pleasant to swim, the best we’ve seen in Samui. Not noisy and no boats. Quiet and peaceful.
2. Attitude - we had to delay our arrival and the hotel was kind to reschedule the dates. Also they did early checkin without any issues.
3. Staff not only kind and friendly, but they also know what they are doing - well trained.
4. The garden is a masterpiece! The hotel territory is the most extensive we have seen in Koh Samui and it is perfectly looked after.
5. Breakfast is one of the nicest we’ve seen anywhere in the world. Freshly baked bread every morning, including gluten free. Extensive choice of all types of European, American and Thai food.
6. Rooms and all facilities are squeaky clean.
7. The room is very convenient - the villa was spacious and well planned.

The best hotel I have ever been to! First of all we arrived and got an upgrade to a pool villa (we never asked for an upgrade) - that was so kind and we loved it. Jocelyn was so kind and even informed us about a shuttle by ferry. We came with our 8 month old baby so we could swim in private without long ways.
The staff was so kind and helpful, everyone did an amazing job. We got free and fresh purée for our son everyday, they offered that too without us asking. Our son loved the restaurant manager oom, she was so cute and nice (but so was everyone), she came always and asked how he slept and what she can do for us, we felt so welcome.
We also loved the food, it was so so good !! We definitely want to come back, since it’s such a personal and private hotel with excellent service. Clean, friendly to family’s with kids and very responsible in all kind of ways. I recommended the Sala to all of my friends whether they are a couple with or without kids. We LOVED our stay at this resort!! The entire team made us feel so special and the attention to detail was impeccable. The room and washroom are kept very clean. I was worried about the outdoor washroom but they do a great job of keeping mosquitos out using nets and repellent. The resort has great beachfront access and there was never a problem getting beach beds. We did deal with lizards entering our room but the staff were able to remove them the next day.

They were very responsive to our requests, the attention to every detail to make our stay memorable was second to none.
The rooms are very spacious; even better than on the photos. It’s very spotless clean. The breakfast buffet has a great variety of choice.

Incredible hotel and service, highly recommend. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The beach is gorgeous and everything you need is in close proximity. The location is ideal as cheongmon beach is stunning and less busy than Chaweng but also close to fisherman market (12 min scooter ride). The rooms are very clean and there is turn down service too which I love. The cocktails 10/10 i recommend the “spice up your life” and “frozen watermelon and coconut” wow delish!! Breakfast also 10/10!!!! Unfortunately didnt get to experience the massage/spa because we got so sun burnt the first day, but im sure it would have also been good

The pool was beautiful, and the beachfront lounges were the perfect spot to relax. The staff by the beach were fantastic too.

This hotel really exceeds all expectations and is one of the best 5 star resorts I have stayed, when it comes to service. I requested a private pool room that got sun in the afternoon and they went out of their way to show me three rooms that I could choose from, letting me see each of them in person. Erwin the manager everyday comes and speaks to the guests and made my little girl feel so special by taking time out to talk to her. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and they left us a bottle of bubbles and a dessert in the room. Honestly this place is fantastic. After staying at this hotel all other 5 star hotels on our trip could not live up to these standards.

This is our second time returning to the Sala. The rooms are impeccable. The staff super friendly and experienced. DREAM from the restaurant, every morning served us with a smile and a lovely chat. The resort is impressive just as the pictures showed year after year. The location is perfect far enough away from the girlie bustle of Main Street yet close enough to walk if you wanted to visit bars, restaurants etc. We would return time after time

Very mixed reviews on this hotel. It is essentially two very different hotels combined together as one. A 3* motel style place across the road and the one you see in all their marketing material, the 5* on the beachfront.
The disparity between these hotels is not clear at all upon booking. If you book the cheaper side, you eat breakfast on the street and aren’t permitted in the beachfront restaurant. You also get much worse service all round.
We organised a private event while staying there which we spent well over £1000 on. As a token of gratitude for this they stuck us in the absolute worst room available with an awful view. When we complained they didn’t handle it well at all. We didn’t feel we were treated nicely.
Eventually we stumped up the money to upgrade to the nicer side and it was far far better but we wish the true difference between the two different resorts was made crystal clear and not misleading online as though it’s all the same. Nowhere upon booking stayed we needed to have breakfast on the street and weren’t permitted at the beachfront restaurant.
Many far far cheaper hotels along that strip still allow their guests to dine on the beach so it’s really disappointing.

We loved our stay there and it exceeded our expectations. The staff is very professional, friendly and there’s a lot of attention to detail. The place is so peaceful and relaxing and has many areas where to relax without feeling overcrowded. The fact that is has its own private beach and different pools makes it a very quiet and private place to relax. The breakfast food and restaurant location by the beach are also incredible.
I recommend if you are looking for a private and quiet place to stay with many amenities and quiet luxury environment.

We recently stayed for 10 nights for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier with our experience!
We were personally greeted by Mark one of the managers when we arrived which was a nice touch and he or Manuel the general manager were generally always present at breakfast in the mornings and on hand during the day to answer any questions, issues, generally for a chat or to give any recommendations.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and is set in a great location with stunning views! The beach, pools and all of the facilities were great and the restaurants and food were top class too.
The room was excellent and was always kept spotless by housekeeping. Literally everything had been thought of from travel adapters to the hotels own ‘mosquito spray’ provided in the room.
What really made our honeymoon that little bit more special and memorable were the personal touches and the staff. We had a great honeymoon welcome left in our room when we first arrived and also a lovely personalised welcome at our first breakfast.
From the reception staff day to day and with check in and out, the buggy drivers, pool boys, bar staff, breakfast, lunch and dinner, all of the staff in every area of the hotel were absolutely fantastic, they couldn’t do enough for us and it really made for a brilliant experience.
We spoke to various other guests during our stay, most of which we found had returned at least 3 or 4 times, some even 15+ times and It really isn’t hard to see why! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and would really love to return again in the future!

These rooms are absolutely beautiful! The facilities are great and the service is so friendly. All the food was delicious (including the Italian spot!) and the cocktails are amazing. The excursions we did were top notch.
The only con is the location, but that depends on what you’re looking for! It is far removed from anything else, so don’t expect to go to town a lot and the road is inaccessible, you can only get there through the hotels van.

We spent four unique, wonderful days at the Treehouse Villas hotel complex. The accommodation is unique and adapted to nature. Simply a dream. You feel like you're staying right in the jungle. The villas are luxurious and yet perfectly embedded in nature. Here you will find pure peace and relaxation surrounded by palm trees. The food in the restaurants is of the highest standard. It is probably one of the most beautiful hotel complexes in the world. The friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of the staff is top level.

My husband and I visited for our honeymoon and stayed for 12 days! We each tried new foods every day and never ran out of new things to try, and found the prices to be very reasonable. The staff was so kind and helpful at every point from booking, to the shuttle, checking in, and the entire stay. There are many excursions you can book through the resort as well as activities you can engage in at the resort. The treehouse villa was beautiful, very open and spacious with a private pool and stocked mini bar that is replaced each day. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and we will hope to come back again :)

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this resort. The food was exceptional and the staff were always keen to make sure we were happy and well looked after.
The resort employs 75% of their staff from the local village. Many are learning English and about the hospitality industry. It's worth keeping this in mind when interacting with the staff and to be patient.
Having said that, all staff were very friendly and keen to support and help guests wherever possible.
No children in this resort as well, so.was great for adults wanting peace and tranquillity and to enjoy the natural surrounds.

This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at without any doubt and it offers more of what you can expect of a 5 stars hotel. The location is ideal in Chaweng beach which is the best in the island. All the staff is very kind and welcoming, willing to help in whatever you need. The room was super nice and clean. The first surprise we saw in our room was a bottle of wine and a plate full of tasty fruits. Then we learned that the minibar was free and refilled everyday! And on top we had a cocktail kit and spirit liquors that we could use also without any charge on top. As if it was not enough, they brought to us every afternoon a little detail such as chocolates or other treats and the “surprise of the day” which was basically another treat on top, wow! simply ideal and high end luxury. The food variety and quality is exceptional from breakfast to lunch and dinner across their different restaurants. The gym is fully equipped and big enough to have a proper workout session and you can even have fruit, water and healthy snacks for free. They have a great spa which you definitely need to try, we had an amazing 90 minutes massage. We could not recommend enough this amazing place. Big thanks to the great GM Neil for all the attentiveness and welcoming and to all the staff, they made us feel like at home. We’ll come back for sure!

We spent a fantastic vacation at this beautiful hotel. From the first to the last minute of our stay, we experienced pure hospitality. An excellent breakfast, super friendly and extremely competent staff, and of course, the fantastic beach right in front of the hotel made this vacation unforgettable. Across the street, there are many good restaurants where you can enjoy excellent food in the evenings. We would especially like to thank White, who warmly and lovingly helped to make our vacation a memorable one.
The only small negative point are the large Israeli families who act like little kings and, unfortunately, the staff are very condescending and arrogant. It's shameful.

Simply the best beach on Samui. Soft sand and transparent water. You cannot beat this location. And we have traveled all around the island to come to this conclusion. Another positive point is the breakfast, again it beats many other more expensive hotels on the island. Hotel itself is not new, but it is well maintained and feels as a solid and quality build. Excellent Consierge service, good swimming pools and security guys keeping your belongings safe. It is a rare gem for price/quality ratio, but to emphasize once more it is the best beach on Samui.

Sadly for us this hotel did not live up to its ‘5 star’ status so we had to relocate half way through our stay.
The hotel in general is old and had what seems to be a ‘room’ renovation, everything else is dated and lacks the detail of a 5 star hotel such as old sun beds and towels, below standard breakfast offering and the hotel is extremely overpriced.
On a positive the staff are attentive and the beach is spectacular.
We are a family with a 15 month year old and we feel the need to share that the kids club is not a ‘club’ but more a small hot room with little amenities for kids/babys so we relocated to the Ritz Carlton Koh Samui which was spectacular.
We are saddened to write a negative review but feel this information needed to be shared for future travellers.

Great staff and location. Our room had complimentary mini fridge bar that was replenished daily! Included Gin, Whisky and Vodka! Easy walk to some good restaurants. The beach and hotel pools were great.

Great Service and Good Food
I had a nice experience during my stay. The front desk staff were very good — they were polite, helpful, and made my visit smooth and comfortable.
The restaurant staff were also very attentive; they listened to my requests carefully and provided great service.
The food was really good and exceeded my expectations.
A couple of concerns:
* The rooms are a bit small.
* The manager, Pitchaya, seemed quite serious. It would be nice if she could be a bit more customer-friendly and welcoming, with a smile.
Overall, the excellent service from the staff and the quality of the food made the stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, smiling faces that instantly made us feel welcome. The staff was always ready to help with anything we needed, no matter how big or small. Their friendly and attentive attitude really stood out.
Room service was quick and efficient, and the food quality was great too. The entire experience—from the hospitality to the cleanliness and comfort of the room—was smooth and pleasant.
The overall vibe of the hotel is just so positive and relaxing. It’s clear that the team takes pride in creating a great environment for their guests.
We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely visit again!

Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in April. I am very impress with the service. Staff are so attentive. Hotel gained another charm by free shuttle boat service, what a cute way to move around in the centre of Bangkok. I also enjoyed the pool and the view from my window

BEWARE: there's a construction going on at the pool. It's super noisy, you can hear it in the rooms (loud and clear) and can't relax at the pool. Apparently gonna last until October 2025.
Extremely disappointing experience – definitely not a 5-star hotel!
Our stay at the Ramada Plaza Riverside Bangkok was a major disappointment from start to finish:
Constant construction noise made it impossible to relax — neither by the pool (the main reason we chose this hotel) nor in our room, where the loud noise was clearly audible. This major construction work was not announced anywhere on the hotel’s website or booking platforms. When we asked the reception why they did not inform guests beforehand, they simply said: "We tell you at check-in" — meaning when it’s already too late. Ironically, no one actually informed us at check-in; we discovered it ourselves the next morning, awakened by the noise.
We arrived late, around midnight, and had to ask ourselves about the welcome drink we were promised. We were directed to a random room with coffee, water, and a few snacks — hardly a warm or professional welcome.
Our bathtub was dirty, and the water initially flowed over the edge before draining into the tub. Absolutely unacceptable for a so-called 5-star property.
The reception staff provided poor service. We spent half a day repeatedly explaining our issues, having to instruct them on basic service expectations ourselves. Instead of a meaningful apology or compensation, we were only offered a different room and access to the happy hour. Some of them don't speak English very well.
The pool was dirty already early in the morning, showing a clear lack of maintenance and care.
Despite requesting vegan breakfast options in advance (during booking and again at check-in), the only foods we could eat were salad, fruit, and bread with peanut butter and jam. At check-in we were brushed off with the comment that it was an “international buffet” — extremely poor for a hotel of this category. There's also no fresh juices at breakfast, if you want one, you have to pay for it. Never have I experienced this in a 5 star hotel in Thailand.
The hotel is visibly worn and outdated, with heavy signs of wear and tear.
Due to a mistake, we booked breakfast for two people even though one guest left earlier. We asked for a refund or an alternative service (laundry, bar credit, etc.), as would be customary in a truly guest-focused hotel. The hotel refused, showing no flexibility or goodwill — especially frustrating after all the previous issues.
Overall conclusion:
This is definitely not a 5-star hotel. Most of the staff are poorly trained, if trained at all, and the management seems solely focused on making quick money rather than providing good service or building guest loyalty. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Bangkok! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed for comfort and relaxation. The beds were super cozy, making it easy to unwind after a long day.
The service was exceptional—staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything needed. They truly made the experience even more enjoyable!
The location is perfect, offering easy access to the river and city attractions. Whether you’re here for business or vacation, it’s a fantastic choice with a great balance of convenience and luxury.
Highly recommend this hotel, and I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future!

I will like to share my personal opinion based on 14's days spent in this hotel. We had a room in Lagoon 7 at the second floor witch was great for us ( not to noisy from the main hallway) . The room needs serious improvement. ( old furniture, bathroom, not a 4 star hotel room) The position is very good 2 min. to the beach, 2 min. to the boufe. The view is a dream, with never seen vegetation and animals. And if you choose the hotel with breakfast as we did you will not be disappointed. Everything was close enough as described on the website we purchased our vacation from..until you hit the language barrier. Hard to find someone to speak more than 15 words in English and this is at the reception. They have their own restaurant on the beach were how you guessed nobody speak English and is pretty annoying using the phone to translate all the time. Be aware that even if they smile they get frustrated very quickly and sometimes are very rude. ( even if they talk thai you can feel the tension). Also the hotel manager was very rude when they messed up transportation schedules. (extremely RUDE with gesture and words). Btw do not rely on the wifi it really sucks. And if you attend to a fire show do not sit in the front seats ( you will get your clothes ruined). Have fun and don't let anything to ruin your hardly paid vacation!

since the reviews weren't the best, we were a little worried. But the Emerald hotel - especially the new part is fantastic. after 6 weeks in Thailand it was our last stop and it was a unique end to the holidays. the rooms are beautiful and clean, the breakfast has a fantastic selection. the pools and children's world were excellent. I recommend it with all ten.

Time to close for a complete refresher! The hole resort was build 20yrs ago after the tsunami, since then nothing was made new. It’s clean, but damages everywhere, in the room at the pool etc. Wi-Fi is a complete Desaster, take a local SIM card a you are fine. First day first evening no hot water in the bathroom cause of problems in the hole resort. Good for Russians (min 60-80%) but not for European Guests.

Delicious breakfast, sometimes a little bit too many people - depending on time while eating breakfast.
Always friendly and helpful staff.
