Stayed here for 8 days in a large group with 7 rooms, and what a horrible place this is. To start with the furniture is very dated and worn out. The toilet leaked water onto the floor every time it was flushed and the shower also leaked everywhere. This meant having to use towels constantly to mop up. Having 7 rooms, we had lots of small issues as well that were specific to individual rooms, but every single one of the 7 rooms needed reception to come and do some sort of maintenance OR the issue meant we had to move room. My first room was ground floor and it was horrible. The ground floor rooms are about 2 meters away from the pool. I have stayed in ground floor rooms with pools close by but this time it was done very poorly. The external AC box for the room is mounted on the wall right next to the pool. What this meant was that the air coming into the room through the AC unit STUNK of chlorine. The first time we entered the room it hit us in the face so we aired it out and then I think our noses became used to the smell. We went out for a bit and when we returned the smell hit us again so we aired it out again. First morning we woke up and I opened the curtains to find the whole double sliding door was dripping wet with water due to the moisture in the air coming through the AC. So bad it had ran down the window and created small puddles on the floor. Also due to the moisture there were loads of flies and mosquitoes in the room, when I say loads I mean loads. Everywhere you looked you would see a fly or mosquito. We moved to another room day two due to all of the issues, the staff knew of the issues we mentioned and were very quick to suggest a change of room but the second room was not much better. Second night, new room, ac and flies were all OK but the shower and toilet still leaked. Went to sleep and woke up to the sound of rustling in the corner of the room, didn’t think anything of it and closed my eyes. Then I heard it again so I sat up and turned the light on, and a mouse ran from the corner of the room under the bed!!!!!!!!! Chased the thing around for a few mins and it disappeared under the door to the adjoining room, which was my mother’s room!!! The next morning, my mother’s hair straighteners had been chewed through, so we went to reception AGAIN to let them know of another issue. Funny thing is every time you are in reception, you’re pretty much guaranteed that someone will be stood there making a complaint about issues they are facing. Reception is ran by a bunch of teenage boys that do not have the slightest clue of how to deal with customers. Very unhelpful and almost seem brain dead. The hotel is not disabled friendly, anywhere you need to go requires stairs, narrow halls and long walks. Don’t let this put you off Pa Tong, I’m sure there are some great places to stay but unfortunately this is not one of them. Definitely avoid staying here, the rodent issues and the room issues are not worth putting up with. We left the hotel very disappointed with pretty much everything. From the greeting, the breakfast, the rooms, the staff, every aspect needs attention to get this place to a good standard.

We just came back from Seaview Hotel! I would like to share my experience! We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Very highly recomendet! Nice and quite hotel! The staff on reception very nice and helpful. Cleaning staff was very good! The food were very tasty and very good breakfast buffet! The location is great for families and people who prefer to stay away from the crowd! Bangla road is 20 min walking from the hotel. Very close to the shoping area and the beach! We really enjoyed!

Perfect location friendly staff room cleaned daily and bedding changed daily, just perfect the hotel is away from all the night life but only10 mins walk to the strip of bars. Can not fault it. Everything you need is just a hop, skip, and jump away. I will be returning next year

Sadly this hotel is very very tired and in great need of a deep clean. The room floor was unclean one wipe with a baby wipe came back filthy Some plug sockets didn’t work, when I asked if they had a plug adapter (I had brought my own but sadly they were any sockets that they fitted?) I was told quite bluntly to go buy one. One socket was coming away from the wall. They did re fit it and got it to work. The bathroom was in urgent need for an update, dirty around the bath seals stains on the towels. The toilet system took some getting used to when being flushed. We couldn’t understand why we had to leave a 2000 Bart deposit? Per room The sunbeds need a good clean DONT BE CONNED by the title superior room it just mean the standard room. PLUS SIDE The pool was very clean The breakfast wasn’t too bad The bed was comfortable The beds were made every day we couldn’t fault the chamber staff for this. Currently staying here if i could give this hotel 10 stars I would. Beautiful pools. Gym. Lovely staff. Fab food. Great value for money.cleaning everyday. Can’t fault it. Would definitely come back. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. Check it out 😊

Overall, the hotel is located along and near Jungceylong mall in Patong which offers unparalleled convenience if you need to get anything at the mall. Check-in was professionally handled by the front office staff, and a breeze. Room is reasonably sized and the pool is welcoming for the kids. Grab was fast when called, to the pick up point at the hotel as they have many cars waiting outside. The hotel is also walking distance, ie less than 10 mins from the beach. And the breakfast served amazing fried rice that we had everything, a must try! Overall, it was a good stay for a family. The only downside is that it is way too crowded with tourists in Patong, which is not the fault of the hotel. Recommended!

What a beautiful hotel ! It’s big. Location. 5 mins from Hard Rock Cafe and opposite loads of local spots to shop , eat and drink. Cost. The drinks are expensive , about 320 baht a pint ! Top tip! There’s happy hour every day 4 til 6, then there’s a 241 special every night. The buffet food was great value for money , 1000 baht pp. lovely stay , lovely staff really enjoyed . We travelled as a family of 6.

The hotel has a great location, close to the beach and shopping centers. However, it is an older property that could use better maintenance. Some of the room furniture appears worn out, and the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. For example, the cups and spoons provided for tea service had visible stains. On the positive side, the breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety of options. However, we were not satisfied with the hotel’s seafood buffet dinner. The hotel has a large swimming pool and a beautiful green outdoor area, making it a nice place to relax. The front desk staff were helpful and provided clear information. The pool-access rooms seem appealing, but the humidity and chlorine smell might be bothersome. Overall, we had a good stay, but considering the five-star rating and the price, there is room for improvement.

Beautiful hotel and good location walkable to many shops, restaurants 5. Beds are comfy Cons: 1. Rooms are very dark 2. No balcony just Juliette ones 3. Lunch and dinner at Bubbles are not great, lots of Indian food no Mediterranean at all which is fresh in this heat. 4. Hotel accepts groups of Gulf men who sit there watching women in 👙by the pool 5. No Nespresso or quality coffee in rooms 6. Sink in bathroom is far from the tap, every time you wash your hands water goes everywhere 7. Swimming pool bathroom should have a swimsuit dryer but it doesn’t 8. Pool is small

**5-Star Stay in Phuket! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐** I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in Phuket and had an amazing experience! The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a stunning view of the pool .The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The pool area was luxurious, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety of delicious options. The location was ideal—close to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife, yet peaceful when needed. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phuket. Can’t wait to return! 😊🌴

We had an amazing 8-night stay at Kalima Resort in Patong. The location is perfect - close to the action but quiet with beautiful views. The hotel and facilities were excellent, from the infinity pool and the pool bar to the breakfast buffet, everything was great and the front desk team was incredibly helpful. Kalima Hotel is a fantastic choice, especially for families with kids. The location is perfect—close enough to Patong for convenience but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. The views are stunning, and the resort itself is beautifully designed. This hotel offers a mixed experience that didn't quite meet its five-star promise. The positives are significant - possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on and a truly excellent breakfast buffet with numerous options. The property itself appears attractive at first glance. However, several issues made our stay less than ideal. Most concerning was the floor cleanliness - walking barefoot left my feet noticeably black. When I reported this, they changed our room, but the second room had identical problems despite appearing clean visually. The shower experience was particularly frustrating, with water temperature suddenly spiking to dangerously hot levels every 30 seconds, regardless of the time of day - a clear plumbing issue that needs addressing. We were also surprised by the poor sound insulation. Conversations from neighboring balconies carried so clearly into our room that it felt like people were standing right beside us. Unlike the warm hospitality we encountered everywhere else in Thailand, our initial reception felt unexpectedly cold and unwelcoming, though this improved dramatically after we mentioned it to our travel agent. While not a terrible place to stay, these issues prevented what could have been an excellent experience.

Stayed here from 29/3 to 3/4 Pros Stunning hotel foyer pool area and rooms. Good gym facility Very photogenic hotel Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Big shout out to the old short security guard who helped us flag a taxi down on our departure day at 7am. Cons Weird room layout walking through a super hot side hallway Rooms sometimes get serviced as late as 1530 No smoking area at pool.. but when we were there . There was a few weed smokers puffing away unsure why staff not enforcing it.

A good hotel, located within easy reach of central Patong. We stayed here as a family of three. We booked the Family Room, which has two bedrooms. The room was great, two bathrooms, really comfortable beds. The only issue we had with the room was that we found it a bit noisy. I think initially we were unlucky with particularly noisy neighbours, but we could hear people walking past our room very clearly - nothing major, but a good soundproof door would help. Pool was lovely, it does have limited beds, but there was only one day during our stay they were all taken. The Kids Club is small, but was never very busy - the lady there, Pang, was lovely and really good with our son. The majority of staff were very friendly, and greeted you with a smile. 3pm chocolate was a nice touch. I also read a few reviews about check-in being a bad experience - we arrived early in the morning and the staff checked us in quickly and were able to get our room ready for us before the official check-in time - thank you. After a long flight, that was very much appreciated.

Seriously have no idea how this hotel got the ranking he has… barely anything good to say about it. The hotel looks good in the pictures but it’s service is far of being 5 star hotel. There management were very strict and not trying to help with our situation holding us for an hour in check in process because “she can’t get the agent”, so why working with an agent if you can’t reach him or see the deal you’ve got?! Not only that, we also paid for a room with pool view but instead we got a room with a view of a wall of the next building! Talking to the hotel reception they said they can move us to another bedroom but we need to wait for it to be cleared, they were not sure for how long. We were so exhausted from the check in process and the ride to here that we couldn’t be bothered and just stayed in the room but no compensation was even offered. To be honest the room is beautiful but not really clean, the pool area looks small compared to the amount of rooms here so it is pretty crowded. I can’t recommend this hotel at all, not only that it is not perfect but also the service one will expect from 5 start expensive hotel is underwhelming.
