What a fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️jungle pool resort, that bring joy to your soul making you realise the joy of life and spending moments with familly and friends. Somebody really work hard when designed this very beautiful place and from the moment you step in its smashing your feelings of being in holiday. You feel so welcome inside, people so friendly and plants and birds noises all the time its just simple beautiful. I always complain about pools but this one is way to amazing no wonder why you meet peopleinside that came to this place betwern 14 and 40 times.. Rooms are big , air condition works good showers, clean and good room service. Dont like the dull blue colour Food its simple not to many options, we had breakfast included, but when we celebrate Songkran food was very nice and tasty. Gym is just pointles it will be a better idea to make a place for kids to play. Pool on top its good plenty of sunny to tan, but the real attraction is the main pool. Its juts fantastic. Shops are just outside with a good size supermarket. There is also a travel shop inside that we were able to find the best taxi deal as we have traveled a lot. In the end highly recomended this place and for sure we will go back few more times

Do not stay at Kata Palm Resort. Our room had bedbugs, not termites as the hotel falsely claimed. This is a serious health issue. The sheets were stained with visible blood, which the staff later tried to say was “paint.” It was clearly concealed intentionally, which is both unsanitary and dishonest. When we contacted Expedia, they agreed we were entitled to a refund — but said they needed the hotel’s approval. The hotel refused. They cited a “no refund policy,” as if that should apply even when they’ve provided a room that poses a health risk. The staff apologized but took no real responsibility. Their handling of this situation was unacceptable. I would never return and I strongly warn others to stay away. There are much cleaner, safer, and more honest places to stay in the area.

3 star hotel at best. Room and bathroom is outdated, although clean enough. Would not recommend. The staff at the main pool bar are really not friendly or helpful at all. There’s one lady with a mask who is really plain rude, to say the least. In the restaurant where lunch is served, there was one lady who really went out of her way and was super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I didn’t get her name. If you have to go there, don’t go full board as that’s throwing money away. The most tasteless food ever. Just outside of the hotel in the main road, there are umpteen different restaurants and they are top quality. Street food markets are everywhere and we regularly had dessert in the form of a fresh waffle cone with ice cream and banana in a cup, so you stay clean. Delicious.

Good Hotel with a very nice Pool area and supportive staff. Rooms Are Not Brand New but i cant understand the criticism as they are huge and comfy. Great Buffet breakfast Continental and traditionelle where Thai cuisine is Thai spicy :)

A disappointing experience at Kata Palm Resort. The reception staff was unfriendly, especially the late shift – no professionalism or friendliness. Upon our arrival, we were rushed so much that after a 12-hour flight, we had to carry our luggage ourselves without any help. We got a room that smelled old and musty, the bathroom was awful, and the hygiene was inadequate. The towels were also old and terrible. We only had breakfast at the hotel – and it was a complete disaster. During the 9 days we stayed here, the bread was never fresh, and the cold cuts, cheese, and cakes were left out from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM without any cooling or refrigeration. One evening, we decided to have dinner at the hotel. The chicken was so tough that it was impossible to cut or chew. For dessert, we ordered pancakes and received the same ones that had been made for breakfast – fresh in the morning, stale by the evening. The pool was nice, but not very clean. Additionally, we asked at the reception for a late check-out, and they told us it wasn’t possible because new guests were arriving. But suddenly, they said we could do it if we paid 300 Baht per hour. What a scam! Another huge disappointment: The reception never informed us about our scheduled meeting with the travel representative. Only a few days after our arrival, we received a letter saying that we had missed the appointment – even though nobody ever told us about it! Overall: The reception – especially the late shift – was terrible, no hygiene, no professionalism. The only good thing was the hotel’s location – everything was nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at Orchidacea! The staff were exceptionally friendly and very accommodating, always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast was really good, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day. The rooms were modern and new, with an amazing view of the ocean and city. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. There were a couple of small issues during our stay. The refrigerator either froze our beverages completely or didn’t cool them at all, which made it hard to store drinks properly. Also, the toilet didn’t always flush fully, which was a bit annoying. But overall we highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic 2 weeks stay there. It was deluxe sea view room - with an absolutely amazing view of Kata bay. The staff is friendly and always ready to help with anything. The location is perfect - just 5min on foot to the beach. A lot of shops and other facilities around. We really would love to come back, thank you Orchidacea for a wonderful vacation

The hotel is lovely and clean, with a good breakfast selection, though it could be even better. I know cheese is rare, but having some options would have been nice. Small additions like chocolate sauce, jam, or peanut butter for pancakes would also be great. While there are plenty of "food" choices, the "breakfast" selection could be a bit more varied, The location is excellent, very close to the beach, lively but not overly crowded. The only downside is that since the hotel is on a hill, many heavy cars and motorbikes struggle to climb it, creating quite a bit of noise, which can be a little disruptive. Fortunately, our room was at the very top, so we didn’t hear much, but near the pool, the noise was noticeable. Guests staying in lower rooms might find it bothersome. Another highlight of our stay was the stunning view from our room. We got a big room with ocean view, with very comfy beds (1 XL king, and one twin), and waking up to the ocean stretching out before you was breathtaking ✨️ The rooms are very clean, and the service is excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They also provide a shuttle from the lobby to the higher rooms, which is great since the incline is quite steep. You can request a ride at any time, whether heading up or back down to the lobby/breakfast area. Also the pool bar and hotel restaurants are very nice, though quite pricey :D Overall, it’s a clean and comfortable option with good service. If you can, definitely go for the sea-view room and go to beach as often as you can!

This hotel is rated as a 4 star hotel and definitely has the potential to be so, but the lack of response from the admin/reception for some requests, the uninterested drivers who seem put out when you ask them to drive you up the top so you avoid the steep climb up dozens of steps and the bad WiFi that sees you watching more buffering time than screen time, detracts from the rating. The views and proximity are good and most of the staff friendly and helpful, just don't expect a lift up to your room or to be picked up. You need to love climbing stairs and heaps of them.

Lovely hotel, the rooms were clean and in good working order. Hotel staff are among the nicest we've seen in Thailand and go out of their way to help. Very friendly. The pool bar staff ensure a drink is always available, especially at happy hour, where some great cocktails can be enjoyed along with beers wines and regular spirits. A comprehensive food menu also available at the pool or room via phone or app, staff. A short walk to all amenities and between the two main beaches in Kata. Located up and on a short hill. Requires a bit off leg work to and from hotel and rooms. The pool was well maintained and we never struggled for a sun lounger. One of the few hotels that doesn't have them reserved with towels from 6am. A good size pool with a 1.8m depth at one end. And a jacuzzi jet area at the other. A smaller kids paddling pool for the small ones.

From the very first step at the reception, we felt incredibly welcomed with amazing service – the best we have ever experienced. We stayed at the resort for 17 nights, and they were the best days and nights of our lives. 10 stars for everything. From the front desk staff to room service, daily housekeeping – everything was done with a smile and gratitude. The people in the kids’ club were absolutely wonderful, and our children loved them every single day. Words cannot describe how grateful we are to have stayed at Centara Kata. The breakfasts were excellent, with something new and different every day – which was perfect for such a long stay. Everyone here gave 200%. I celebrated my birthday here and received two amazing cakes with birthday wishes – it was unforgettable. I truly wish that everyone could experience such a wonderful stay like we had. I highly recommend this place – everyone who stays here will meet beautiful, smiling people. I will truly miss the people we met here – whether at the reception, in the restaurant, during housekeeping, or the drivers who took us to the beach with a smile, as well as those who took care of us by the pool or at the bar. Every person working here gives 100%, and I deeply appreciate that. I truly hope to see these people again one day. An absolutely fantastic place that exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth and professionalism of the staff—every single one of them was genuinely friendly, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. The food was consistently excellent, offering delicious options at very reasonable prices. The pool areas were a hit with both kids and adults, perfectly designed for relaxation and fun. A special shout-out to the incredible bar team—Ohm, Coach, Wan, and their amazing manager Joy—who made every visit to the bar a real pleasure. Their energy and friendliness added so much to our stay. Reception staff were equally impressive—super professional while still being warm and approachable. A big thank you to Nanny, who went above and beyond to help us switch rooms so we could be closer to the action near the bar—truly appreciated! Evenings were a delight, with live music and a buzzing atmosphere paired with great food. My 12-year-old had an absolute blast, and we’re already planning our return. The atmosphere was very relaxed, peaceful and I slept like a baby during my stay. I like the rustic decor which is charming in its own right. Location is a short walk to the shops around and in town. The road to the beach is actually a nice loop next to the hotel and it covers Kata Beach end to end. Staff was wonderful, polite and efficient.

Had a wonderful stay here! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, they really can’t do enough for you. The pool area is lovely and relaxing, with a great pool bar for drinks and food. Location is great, close to all the main attractions. The suite we had was spotless. There were 2 massive double bedrooms, both with spacious en-suite and a lovely kitchen / diner and lounge area. There was a huge balcony running across the whole suite, it was fantastic. The restaurant offered a great selection of tasty food. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer, it was like having your own apartment. Highly recommend!

We start with the positive : Breakfast is really good. Negative : rather small rooms, missing storage space. First time in my travel-life that I was charged for a broken water glass. Hotel transport from beach didn't show up. TV doesn't have Netflix or any other app.

I had an amazing 4-night stay at SIS Kata Hotel. After a long flight, the warm welcome truly surprised me—staff swiftly took our suitcases and handed us refreshing cocktails. They prepared a wonderful room for us with a special honeymoon gift, making our arrival extra memorable. Throughout our stay, every staff member was incredibly kind and attentive. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. The pool area exceeded my expectations—the view is even better than in the photos, and I absolutely loved spending time there. Breakfast was professionally prepared and delicious, and the gym was excellent as well. There were a couple of minor drawbacks, though. Our room was located in the rear part of the hotel, making access somewhat unusual, and each morning a bird greeted us at sunrise. Despite these small issues, my overall experience was outstanding. I highly recommend SIS Kata Hotel for anyone looking for a great stay in Kata!

The staff are the most amazing, friendly, polite, respectful people I have ever encountered in a hotel, anywhere in the world. The rooms extremely comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant excellent and evening meals on the top deck by the pool were magical. Unfortunately there is a very busy road outside and some noise can be heard, but not excessive.

I stayed at the SIS for 3 nights. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are well kept. The room is a holiday in itself. Everything is very clean and the staff are always there to help. The best part of my stay was the pool and the breakfast. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. The views were breath taking. I would definitely come back again.

The hotel was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. Its location was also ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions. The breakfast was of good quality with a wide selection, though I found it to be quite expensive at 599 baht (£14 per person), especially when you can enjoy a similar meal locally for around 200 baht (£4.50 per person). The lunch offerings were also disappointing in both quality and price compared to local alternatives. There were a few aspects that could be improved. First, there were no wardrobes or cupboards in the room to store clothing, so we had to live out of suitcases for our 11-day stay, which was a bit inconvenient. Second, the bar staff by the pool and drinks area were noticeably unfriendly. Despite tipping them, they often seemed uninterested and gave the impression they didn't want to be there. Additionally, the drink prices were on the higher side. Another point to consider is the lack of sunbeds at the upper pool. During our entire stay, we never saw anyone using the second pool, so it seems there could be more sunbeds there to accommodate guests. On a positive note, the reception staff and cleaners were very welcoming and helpful. The cleaners offered fresh sheets and clean beach and bathroom towels daily. Despite the areas that could be improved, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return in the future. Overall, l've given it a 4/5 rating.

Had the most memorable visit to phuket, all the staff were amazing, friendly, helpful. The reception staff went above and beyond to help me find art works (even taking a drive on her way home to find the street), no request was a problem and always attended to quickly. The wait staff, the pool attendant's, security, cleaners and even the chefs were great with my children, always playful even when my boy was being a handful and making my toddler smile. They were a God send. I could not recommend the beautiful staff enough. Plus great entertainment for the kids with 3 pools, slides and movie nights.

Kata Beach is one of the best spots in Phuket for families, and OZO Phuket is ideally situated right in the heart of it. Overall, the hotel is excellent, though our Deluxe Sunset Room felt slightly smaller than expected. One odd thing—basic amenities like cotton slippers, an iron, an ironing board, and a drying rack weren’t in the room by default (which most hotels provide). However, when requested, they were delivered within minutes. The breakfast offered a great variety of high-quality options, and the swimming pool facilities were fantastic, especially the kid-friendly slide. Service was impeccable throughout our stay. The location couldn’t be more convenient—everything you need is right at the doorstep, from 7-Eleven and pharmacies to currency exchange and massage shops. The beach is just a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel’s back entrance. I highly recommend OZO Phuket for families with kids and anyone who prefers a more relaxed vibe over crowded areas like Patong. A wonderful stay overall!

Nice hotel to stay in. Nice breakfast, very nice pool, close to the beach. Kids friendly. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they are a great asset to the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms can be cleaner. The only thing that disturbed me was the drain river that runs through the hotel. It produces a bad smell that kinda ruins the atmosphere.

Very nice hotel, the staff was very kind and helpful. Nice pool though the water in the big pool was too hot. The kids pool was extremely fun. 2 minutes walk to the beach. We ordered an extra bed for two rooms and both of them was terribly hard and the staff didn’t have any other options, so remember that if you need an extra bed ( the rooms king size bed was good) .

The hotel is nice.. clean.. staff are friendly.. service is good.. rooms are small but really clean.. the breakfast buffet is not bad(multiple options).. there are activities for kids.. it is a family environmental.. very good location around 150 meters walking to the beach and there are restaurants just in front of the hotel so are street food carts
