Perfect hotel! Kind and professional staff that were always there to help with a smile! The breakfast was perfect as there were huge variety of fruits, juices and wide range of different foods in general. The room we stayed at was also very big, clean and beautiful! Definitely a place we’ll stay at next time we decide to visit Phuket again!

Stayed here for 1 week and I'm very happy with the hotel.. Rooms are cleaned everyday Breakfast had a variety of different options everyday Staff were very polite and helpful They have private beach in cape panwa resort which is accessible by people who stay in Kantary bay.. Evening there would be stalls with food, dresses, accessories in the road just in front of the hotel... There is seven eleven at a walkable distance... One point of concern was they provided only half a litre of water per person per day, which I feel is very less And for every extra bottle we need to pay extra 10 baht. You can buy a water can from the nearby store if you are staying for more than 2 days.

We had a wonderful stay at Kantary Bay Hotel from April 23rd to 28th for a wedding in Phuket, and I have to start by highlighting the amazing service from the two receptionists, Kik and Pupae. They were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay, they arranged our airport transfers, helped us with anything we needed, and even organized breakfast boxes for our early departure. Truly exceptional hospitality! The hotel itself is beautiful, with a charming vintage touch that makes it feel very cozy and unique. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful area, which was perfect for us to relax after the wedding celebrations. One of the best parts is the access to a private beach through their sister hotel. It’s quiet, has plenty of loungers, very few people around, and you can order drinks while enjoying the view, a hidden gem! Kantary Bay also has two nice pools, and the breakfast every morning was delicious with a good variety. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Again, a big thank you to Kik and Pupae for their warmth and professionalism. They really made our stay extra special. Highly recommended!

Kantary Bay is my most favourite hotel. 2nd time staying here & have once again had an amazing time. The location is perfect & views of the hotel are amazing. The room I was assigned 108 was big with a separate bedroom & small kitchen area and was cleaned daily by a fantastic housekeeper who always greeted me with a smile. I had a large balcony with a view looking out to the sea. The roof top pool was always clean with plenty of sun loungers and an even bigger advantage was the access to the private beach at Cape Panwar hotel a short distance away. Every single member of staff always greeted me in a polite manner & would smile. The reception staff were always help with any enquiry & greeted me by name as I approached. I have made friends with many return visitors and now feel I will also be a regular repeat guest, as Kantary Bay feels like home from home.

Absolutely loved our stay at Kantary Bay Hotel Phuket! From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and genuinely attentive. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade at check-in, which was such a nice touch. The service throughout was outstanding, and to top it off, they even sent a birthday cake to our room, such a thoughtful gesture! The area is calm and beautiful, perfect for relaxing, with plenty of great restaurants and little shops nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

The people, as in the staff, are second to none. So friendly and so attentive and welcoming. This resort is older but still fabulous. The rooms are very quiet, cool and comfortable. I think if I was to come again, I would get a villa with its own pool. The beach is so beautiful with crystal water and soft white sand. The pool is lovely. There is another pool and spa at the beach but it was always full of kids. You can find your own quiet spot as it is not busy here… although my husband says as soon as I review things I wreck them, as then people go! The food is also fantastic and you really should lose weight before you come! We got a great package with food included. The band are lovely and some tourists that come often play along or have a sing. Everyone is so sweet… except the tourists! They seem so unhappy but how could you be here? I highly recommend Cape Panwa Hotel… and up the road so many great massages and stop in at the Sunset View bar for a beer and the view.

We have just had the most AMAZING 10 days here and it has been so relaxing and peaceful. We had 2 Massages at the Cape Spa and they were ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS, the ladies are so beautiful and helpful and there to make your experience the most memorable, we loved every minute of them. The hospitality that we experienced here was incredible. DEFINITELY BE BACK

5 stars We had an amazing stay at Cape Panwa Hotel! The atmosphere in the local town was peaceful, family-friendly, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, always ready to help with anything we needed. A special shout-out to Maggie—she was incredibly kind, genuinely invested in our experience, and truly happy to hear we were enjoying our holiday. Her warmth made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

The room is quite big for solo travellers like me. I never thought that the ocean view had a super big room. Check-in was smooth. I had to wait around 10 minutes for the room to be ready. Going to the beach needs to take the mini train that the hotel provides. The breakfast venue was superb. Ms LISA was very helpful and full of information about surrounding areas. Their pineapple fried rice was the best I had. Totally recommend staying at this place .

We booked our stay through Aldi holidays and the inclusions we got were good, but as the stay continued you realised you weren't getting overly good value, especially the food and drink within your package as everything was to a set menu. However with the lunch or dinner each day we were quite limited to what we were able to eat - either European or Thailand which can be quite limiting if you don't eat certain foods etc, we did try one night at Top of the Reef, and felt very uncomfortable eating there, the staff stared the whole time and were extremely rushed! The inclusive cocktails were also very limited to our package and didn't offer much choice, so often we spent money buying off the inclusions list, which defeats having the cocktails included! The staff at the Cape Panwa found, were extremely rude and at times very unhelpful and this was common among guests with how staff were. The staff members struggled to understand basic English, which left the conversation frustrating and often bluntly ignored. I would have thought some level of basic English would be a must for a resort even in a different country. Due to language barriers, we had multiple issues throughout our stay, for example, we had booked the Thai cooking class for a Thursday, as soon as we arrived, however, come Thursday the staff informed us the cooking class only runs on a Friday. We were disappointed to have missed out and had been looking forward to this all week! Changes to menus etc was often hard, again not being able to understand- personally I feel some staff played dumb and just couldn't be bothered trying. The rooms itself were lovely- needed some repairs (I.e. mould, not thoroughly cleaned) We were disappointed to have a balcony overlooking the ocean and not be able to take advantage of this due to concerns with mozzies in the area! A screened door on the balcony door would have meant we could allow fresh air in and not be worried about mozzies! Speaking of Mozzies the hotel sprays twice a week to keep numbers down, however, if you head down to the beach where the sister hotel is and other amenities it isn't this glamorous place they advertise. Stagnant water, horrible smells and of course influx of mozzies!! We only ventured down there once during our stay because of this. Cape Panwa itself doesn't have a huge amount on offer, but you can get the complimentary shuttle down the hill and walk around, there is a 7 eleven, massage places a cafe (save your coffee fix for Old Phuket town- highly recommend Mondo!), every coffee we've had both at the resort and the cafe have been shit! Recommend One Family Massage, to the right where the shuttle drops you. The hotel offers a return shuttle for 200 BHT to Old Phuket Town, we enjoyed this and found a few things to take home. As mentioned you have to stop at Mondo, THE only place for a great coffee!! There's a nice Japanese ice cream shop, that does sugar-free ice cream, recommend the Matcha ice cream! Over all the stay has been good, but the staff and some food have let this holiday down! We probably wouldn't come back to this particular hotel / area.

Fantastic Spa treatment. Celina was professional and accommodating in booking our services. Honey was amazing and provided outstanding massage and treatment. We can not rebook fast enough. The food and beverage staff are all friendly and helpful. Nee, Thomas and Hem have especially gone above and beyond with their service. The kids club staff, keens, Noon and Yui have been wonderful. Highly recommend leaving children with them.

I stayed here for 3 nights and honestly, it was such a nice experience! The whole place is super clean and they have fun daily activities that make the stay even better. My room was really tidy and the view was amazing – I could see both the pool and the beach from the balcony. The pool area and other spots around the resort are great, lots of things to try and enjoy. The gym’s also a nice bonus, open 24/7 and has everything you need. Location-wise, it’s perfect – close to everything like coffee shop, restaurant, and even a pharmacy if you need one. Overall, I think this resort totally deserves a high rating. It’s definitely worth trying out, and I’d love to come back again! 👍🏼

Overall experience, very, very good. Location of hotel brilliant, within a short taxi ride to Phuket Old Town, with all its brilliant restaurants & bars. Amenity levels & facilities of the hotel brilliant. In the whole service wonderful, however speed & consistency of the Edge pool bar & restaurant indifferent depending on which team were on duty. Stand out team were Thomas & Audi, both attentive & service delivered with charisma & personality. Audi made us smile every time we interacted with him. JB on the Guest services desk/reception desk was knowledgable & welcoming always. Tamarind restaurant was outstanding. The food quality amazing!

The hotel is a great place just besides the beach, there are many activity available provided by the hotel as well. We spend most of our time playing in the hotel, the breakfast is great as well. The only issue is the room have too many mosquitoes, my kid wake up with bites all over his face the first night, the hotel provided us an electronic repellent not sure helpful or not and I spray lots of the repellent I bought along, the next day onwards is better a bit. The playrooms are great as well, we went everyday while staying there and my kid even make new friend there. Grateful there is Leena to help the kids have fun with available activity and play with them as well. The kids really happy there and don't want to leave every time. Appreciate the service by hotel porter Bale and Tong as well, always greet us with great smile when arrive hotel and help with the luggage when arriving and leaving. If you need free ride provided by hotel to the old town, you can arrange with them as well. Overall is a great hotel that is away from the noise with a clean beach, convenient store is within walking distance just outside the hotel as well. The bamboo sharks conserve by the hotel are cute as well!

Wonderful Stay at Amatara Welleisure Resort 🌟 I had a fantastic stay at Amatara Welleisure Resort! I’d like to sincerely thank the reception team for their kindness and quick responsiveness — they were always helpful and welcoming. Special thanks to the lovely receptionist (sorry I forgot her name!) who made the check-in experience smooth and pleasant. The hotel itself is incredibly clean and comfortable, creating a truly relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. A big thank you to all the staff for their professionalism and warm service. A special shoutout to Pan from the housekeeping team — she was always friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfectly clean and tidy. Her work really made a difference in my stay! I highly recommend this resort and will definitely be coming back in the future!

We stayed for three days at Amatara Resort—a very cool and relaxing place, perfect for those who prefer peaceful surroundings. It’s located at Panwa Beach, a bit far from the city center, but ideal for tourists looking for a quiet escape. The staff was extremely friendly and cooperative throughout our stay. One minor inconvenience was the check-in time, which is at 3 PM—we arrived at 1 PM and had to wait, though they do provide a comfortable waiting area. Also, make sure to inform them at least two days in advance if you need airport pickup; otherwise, they won’t be able to arrange it. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The resort is quite large, but they offer convenient cart service to help guests move around or get to the main entrance. Another great feature is that all their restaurants offer Halal food, which was a big plus for us.

Dining at Siri Restaurant last night was another highlight. The food was well-prepared and delicious, and while the prices are naturally higher than in the more touristy parts of Phuket, they are entirely justified given the exceptional service, ambiance, and overall quality of the experience. In every aspect, Amatara is a hidden gem, offering an unparalleled blend of luxury, serenity, and impeccable hospitality. If you are seeking an escape from the ordinary, this is the perfect retreat. We can’t wait to return!

Had a wonderful time here especially given our last minute booking (an hour prior to showing up). There is a cute beach on the property, a pool, and a few restaurants we enjoyed. They even have a golf cart that will bring you to and from the road from the property. We really enjoyed the breakfast and it came with a great view! This worked well for us as a base for the many tours we did, however, it was out of the way and often took us 45+ minutes extra to get anywhere.

Loved this place! The sea view was stunning, the space was big and peaceful, and the staff were super friendly — always smiling and saying hi. Breakfast had lots of options, everything tasted great, and the smoked duck was seriously amazing! Only one small letdown — I ordered a cocktail to the room and it came in a plain glass because it was raining, and they said they couldn’t decorate it. For the price, I expected it to look a bit nicer. Not a big deal, just a little disappointing. Overall though, it’s a really great place to stay. Totally recommend it! 💖🌊

It is the viral Tik Tok Hotel. The rooms are very large, clean and well equipped. The pool looks fantastic. However, it was smaller than we saw on the internet. We weren't in the pool ourselves. It smells strongly of chlorine. The location of the hotel is okay. If you get a scooter or a car with Grab, you can easily get from A to B. Unfortunately, there is not much within walking distance. There are 2/3 good restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and were always able to help us and answer our questions. You can also leave your laundry at reception and pick it up fresh 24 hours later. All in all, I would have said that you can visit the hotel for 2/3 nights to simply relax.

Superb hotel. The main lobby is stunning. The hotel itself maybe slightly better suited to business that holidays makers but there are plenty of excellent facilities. The splash pool bar being our personal favourite. The views out to the bay are beautiful and watching the sunrise as you have breakfast in the main restaurant is a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful and we had a lovely stay.

The resort is stylishly decorated with a secluded beach. There are different water sport equipment you can rent for very reasonable prices. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The location is a bit isolated and pretty much very few things available with walking distance. There is a free shuttle to the Old Town but it operates once once a day and only few days a week during low seasons.

Definitely not 5* hotel, more like 3+ hotel need loads of improvements, beach is only 2m of sand rest is clay, water is not clear at all. Staff is very friendly doing what they can. Location is big issue, because is very far- all trips you have to pay extra to pick up. Sun lounges cover with bird poo every day cushions are ripped. Towels in room wasn't changed every day, sink was loose and when you use it water was dripping underneath. This hotel needs general improvement. The mosque near hotel was waking us up every morning at 5 when was calling for praying.
