I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort Krabi Ao Nang Beach. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants and shops. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The pools and garden areas are beautiful, creating a relaxing atmosphere. What truly makes the difference is the staff, they are genuinely kind, attentive, and always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. From the reception to the restaurant team, everyone is professional and caring, ensuring every detail is taken care of. Breakfast offers a good variety and quality. The hotel, facilities and location was alright. The exceptional quality of my stay was significantly enhanced by the staff's dedication to service. Upon check-in, the initial interaction with the front desk representative, whom I believe was Lana, established a genuine rapport, creating a welcoming and personalized experience. Upon entering the room, I was pleasantly surprised to find it decorated in recognition of my membership, despite my lack of any formal loyalty status. Furthermore, a welcome brownie was delivered shortly thereafter, adding to the sense of appreciation. While these gestures were not obligatory, they were greatly appreciated and contributed to a feeling of being valued. This level of guest engagement exemplifies the essence of hospitality, and experiencing it at a Holiday Inn Resort exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the consistently friendly presence of a staff member, whom I believe was Ann, near the restaurant entrance, demonstrated a strong commitment to welcoming guests. Her enthusiasm was such that it almost persuaded me to dine at the hotel's restaurant, despite my initial plans. I extend my sincere gratitude to the entire staff for elevating my stay from satisfactory to truly outstanding.

The staff led by May, is very helpful and goes out of their way to help us. They gave us a free upgrade upon request and that too within minutes. There was a nice welcome decoration in the bedroom which just made all of us happy. All the staff always greeted us with smile and energy making us feel very happy. Totally recommend staying here. The room service is also top notch and the food at the restaurant is exceptional. It felt like home even while we were in a different country. May is very kind and helpful with all their gestures, and they went out of their way to ensure we have pleasant experience.

Really enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Ao Nang. Breakfast was excellent with good Indian options and lots of variety for kids. The kids’ area and facilities are amazing, and the pools are great with fun rides for children. Location is perfect – just a short walk to the beach and market. Rooms are nice (not very big, but comfortable). Overall, a great family-friendly resort and a solid choice in Ao Nang.

Wow this is a awesome place to stay. Our room has ocean view and mountain views also. The hotel staff is so friendly and the price is a great a deal. We travel a lot to maintain diamond and use points to stay because the 4th night is always free. Every January you are able to purchase 100,000 get 100,000 free. Also during the year they have specials where you can get do it again. I use points because you can book far out and cancel up till the day before. Thanks it's a wonderful day!

We had a pleasant stay at Holiday Ao Nang Beach Resort in Krabi. The property is really beautiful, well-maintained, and very close to the market, which made exploring very convenient. Most things were perfect, but we did face one issue around 1 AM when the AC stopped working, and we had to change our room. Also, the Indian food at the hotel was not up to the mark. Otherwise, everything else was great, and I would happily give full stars for the stay.

We have enjoyed our stay so much. Our kids both loved the Muay Thai class. Thank you to Corey and Tan for making it so fun and being patient, safe and encouraging our kids. The pool, slides and foam party were also really fun.

We had a wonderful holiday staying in this hotel. Hospitality and the service is 1st class. The hotel is very strategic and just a stone throw away from the beach. Nice pubs dotted along the hotel. We would advise you to ask for a room opening to the pool which is the, best rooms of the resort. There is happy hours from morning till evening depending on the bus. We will surely come back again. Very comfortable clean spacious rooms. Very good child friendly resorts. Kids club, teenage club , pool slides super good. Best place to get your kids. I have visited 68 countries in the world never seen such a great resort for kids. Breakfast was okay. Really enjoyed the stay. Superb service by the team too very friendly helpful staff.

I’ve traveled to over 40 countries and stayed in more than 500 hotels, and I can confidently say this property ranks among the worst five of my entire travel experience. The rooms reek of sewage and are shockingly small—more like shacks than hotel rooms. Some are even placed right next to the generators, which run at full blast with zero consideration for guests. The constant noise makes it nearly impossible to rest. The staff, instead of being helpful, come across as arrogant and completely untrained in basic hospitality. Requests are met with dismissive nods, but no action is ever taken. It feels as though they go out of their way to ignore guests. This was genuinely one of the most unpleasant stays I’ve ever had. I strongly urge others to avoid this property at all costs. It is nowhere near a 5-star standard—at best, 3 stars for the facilities and 1 star for hospitality.

Excellent location — the hotel opens right onto the beach, with plenty of bars and restaurants just behind, and Ao Nang Walking Street is only a short stroll away. Very convenient for exploring and enjoying the local vibe. The pools are fantastic, especially for kids with fun slides and clean surroundings. Rooms are spacious and well-maintained, though our block (6) was a bit of a walk. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is decent but caters more to international tastes — typical Indian food lovers might find it less appealing, though multi-cuisine eaters will enjoy the spread. Do note that the hotel collects a caution deposit of THB 3000 at check-in, which is refunded during checkout. Overall, a great stay for families and those looking for a beachfront hotel with easy access to everything Ao Nang has to offer.

We recently stayed at Centara Beach Resort in Ao Nang and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. After a long day of traveling, we were warmly welcomed with a refreshing cold drink, which was such a thoughtful touch. Check-in was seamless and easy, and our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable for our family of three. The resort facilities were fantastic, with two great pool areas – one for children with a fun waterslide, and an adults’ pool overlooking the beach that was perfect for relaxing. Our daughter especially loved spending time at the kids club where she made new friends and enjoyed the activities on offer. Breakfast was included in our stay and offered a generous variety of food each morning. The only small downside was the coffee, but we discovered a charming café nearby called Truce Café, which became our go-to spot for our morning cup. The location of the resort was ideal – right by the beach, yet close enough to walk to plenty of restaurants and bars in Ao Nang. Throughout our week-long stay, the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and would happily recommend Centara Beach Resort to friends and family looking for a great holiday in Ao Nang.

We were first met in breakfast by Ron. He was so helpful and kind and made our holiday even more enjoyable. All the staff in this hotel, from the cleaners to reception are excellent and the rooms are spacious and perfect. I would recommend this hotel, with the lovely staff to anyone.

Lovely, lovely people. The cleaners, receptionists, gardeners, masseuses, the exercise instructor, all of them were an absolute pleasure. And of course rooms and grounds were impeccably maintained. Rooms overlooking the ocean are highly recommended🌴🐠 We were sad to go on our last day but look forward to returning!

The hotel is right on Ao Nang beach, really convenient! There are two clean pools, although the cleanliness isn't perfect, it was still good overall. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a solid variety for both children and adults, although the coffee could be much better. I didn’t get a chance to try the spa, but it offers a range of treatments, including a four-hands massage. Overall, a pleasant experience. Great location and good facilities.

The hotel is pretty nice overall, right on the beach with a really wide beachfront. The beach is swimmable and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea vibes. The atmosphere at night is also really lovely. The rooms are a bit dated but still clean and comfortable. Service is great — staff are friendly and helpful. A great spot to chill by the sea. Would recommend!

I think this was the best place i’ve stayed in so far. The location was incredible, staff very friendly. Had the luck to see some monkeys as well near the pool. The breakfast was loaded with multiple types of food, even lunch dishes. The rooms were very elegant and the terrace was immersive and made you feel like you were in the jungle. I recommend following the monkey trail when going to the city, it should be safe even during the night. All in all, i felt like i was in While Lotus season 3. Would love to come back here sometimes in the future!

I don't know why the negative reviews. I really enjoyed this resort. Excellent location with complimentary boat shuttle. Everyone at this place was kind. The service was good and the food was excellent. Including the breakfast buffet. I celebrated my honeymoon here and couldn't have asked for more. For people complaining. This resort will be closing for 2 years for upgrades. I do believe this resort can become a 6-star hotel.

Once we had booked we started reading very negative reviews and were really worried. However the experience was GREAT, starting with a stunning location in the midst of the jungle and between the mountains and the see. It is true that it can be only accessed via the shuttle boat (which isn't very convenient) or the Monkey trail which involves steep stairs and having to deal with hungry monkeys but this added to the uniqueness of the Hotel! The trail was one of the highlights of the trip and doable for us (2 adults and one 13 yo kid) even with heavy backpacks. The pool area is great and only some meters away from a paradise-like beach which is almost empty and used mainly by Hotel guests. The Hotel location is also good to take one day trips to the surrounding islands and beaches and therefore a great choice. We also enjoyed the excellent breakfast and service mindset from the hotel staff. It is true the rooms are a little bit runned down and some elements didnt work properly but either you take this hotel at c. 200 USD/night or go a bit cheaper to the not so charming Hotels in AO Nang (that look like mass-tourism blocks) or upgrade yourself to the 1000 USD/night resort in Railey but in our view not worth it as - taken the drawback of a somewhat secluded location - the Centara Grand is a great choice.

Firstly the resort is a private property and one has to depend on their speed boat service which at times do not match our schedule. Walking through monkey trail is not advisable for elders. Though the location of the resort is excellent the experience we had is a bit disturbing. One our request for adjoining rooms initially was not acceded. Later the rooms were changed after raising our voice. In one of the room water was logging in the bathroom. On changing rooms our bags were delivered several hours later. Room amenities on request reaches you after at one to two hours. I do not know if their app facility works or not. Overall my opinion Location: Good Service: Horrible Rooms: Decent except the water logging experience
