Beautifully presented throughout with the most incredible and attentive staff. The rooms were modern and cleaned daily with enough bottled water provided to see us through. Breakfast offered a good selection albeit some things were a little random especially for that time of day. I stuck to omelettes every morning as these were freshly prepared, delicious and the wait was never to long. We ate at the main restaurant for a few nights and found the menu to offer something for all tastes at a very reasonable price even without the Dine out card. Chumee was lovely and went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were catered for. The pool area was maintained well and guys in the towel stand couldn't do enough for us, however we found some of the europeans to be incredibly rude and inconsiderate towards other guests and there were several times we saw sunbathers move in order to get away from them. It was disappointed by the lack of control parents had over their children and sheer disrespect towards anyone who was not part of their travel party...unfortunately the staff could not do anything about this. The resort itself is a little out of the way, so ideal for those wanting more of a relaxing vibe, however the hotel does put on a bus each day that will take you to the centre of Khao Lak for just 100 bhat per person.

I was truly impressed during my first stay here. The service from the staff was excellent, they greeted guests warmly and even addressed us by name. The front desk team was especially attentive and welcoming. One of the housekeeping staff surprised us by folding a bird from a coconut leaf, heartfelt message, which made us feel right at home. I was very happy to stay here for my son’s birthday trip, and I will definitely come back again.

We both had the most beautful time at Outrigger Kao Lak in September. We just loved it. 😍 I cant recommend this place more highly. Not only is this a beautiful location, clean, but its the staff that takes it to another level. A big thank you Chef Tao and Chef Nut! for the most beautiful high quality food and hospitality. All fresh and grown at the resort. We ate every night at the restaurant and it was 5 star quality. We loved to go for Happy hour and then have our delicious meal. 😋 A big thank you to Chumee who was exceptional and looked after us like we were VIPS! What an asset but she will be missed as I believe heading to PHI PHI. She went above and beyond. Also thanks to Par and Bomb at the front desk. They are fantastic and could not to enough. Sa at the pool was just so lovely and went out his way. They made ouŕ stay so very special. We cant wait to come back. The only thing was a bit of maintenance at the time but it didnt detract from a perfect stay. Thank you so much! Susie and Wayne

A Truly wonderful stay. The price is very good. The staff are lovely, room clean and modern. Pool beach and restaurant are spot on and the breakfast was the best we have had on our 35 day road trip around Southern Thailand staying in 10+ hotels.

Excellent resort with great beach front. A big shout out to the staff for noticing that it was my Mom’s birthday and prepared a surprise for her in the room and during breakfast. 👍 Egg Benedict ala minute for breakfast is always special and the Tom Yam pizza at Edgewater(not listed in Goggle Maps?) is good too.

The breakfast at this hotel was absolutely amazing, honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had in my life! I really appreciated how clearly the hotel explained the peak hours for breakfast, but even when we came during those “busy” times, it never felt crowded thanks to the huge space and the incredible variety of food. I also loved that breakfast was served over such extended hours- it made the mornings feel so relaxed, with no rush to wake up early. This whole stay truly helped me unwind and reach a real state of relaxation. At first, we planned to go out and explore Khao Lak- visit waterfalls, local markets, and do some activities, but once we arrived at the hotel, we simply didn’t want to leave! The service was excellent throughout our stay, and there were so many on-site activities to enjoy. Most were completely free, and even the ones that required a small extra fee were very affordable and definitely worth it. Highly recommended! this place is perfect for anyone who wants to relax, recharge, and enjoy an unforgettable getaway! 🌿✨

We spent 6 nights at this amazing hotel. Before I reached this hotel, I worried if 6 nights will be too long as it locates at a small town making it not many commercial places to walk around. But when we arrive at the town and the hotel, I felt lucky we chose here to spend our holiday. It’s a wonderful place for relaxing and having a peaceful time. The reception was fantastic and the room was big and comfortable. I especially like the pool, not many people and it’s fun to swim around the hotel areas. The food was good with the price. Plus the sunset and sunrise is beautiful, we like to walk along the beach, not many people. Many massage shops come with restaurants by the beach. It’s really enjoyable that we have delicious sunset dinner after getting a comfortable massage 😆 Oh It’s around 10 mins by taxi to get to town. There r many delicious restaurants and some markets to walk around. It’s a surprise cause thought it will be boring. Anyway now I think 6 nights is too short time, next time we plan for a month-stay. Thank u for all the help. Great services.

Located in quiet area of Khao Lak away from the buzzing over commercialised Phuket. This resort is unique with many activities to offer to everyone. It has 2.3km of swimming pool shaped in a river system within the resort so you can swim around the resort instead of walking. They have a mangrove, herb and veg garden and working farm which the team harvests and chef used in cooking and drinks. They have a baby shark release program to support their ocean conservation project so check that with hotel staff before you book your stay if you want to participate. The rooms are big and spacious with bath tub. Did I mention a somewhat private beach as no totter would walk in trying to sell you things. Peace and quiet. You could just stay here for weeks. I know I would. By the way, the food in the resort is amazing. Their chef are passionate and proud of their menus. I did put on weight.

My partner and I went to the JW Garden area in search of the animal feeding area. We went the wrong way and ended up meeting Benz at the yoga shala. Instead of just pointing us in the right direction, she kindly took the time to give us an impromptu tour through the beautiful veggie garden and then guided us to the animal feeding area. Along the way she shared so many interesting facts about the plants and wildlife, and it honestly turned into one of the highlights of our stay. We’re so grateful to Benz for going out of her way for us — it wasn’t something we expected, but it was such a special experience. The staff here in general are just incredible. They are attentive, warm, and beyond professional, and they make you feel truly cared for in every little interaction. Benz in particular stood out to us, but honestly, everyone we’ve met has gone above and beyond. The resort itself is absolutely breathtaking. Everywhere you look there’s something beautiful to take in, but what really sets it apart are all the thoughtful little touches. Last night we joined the marshmallow bonfire at 6pm and it was such a fun and unique experience — and the best part is that the resort offers so many activities like this, completely free, that make your time here feel full and memorable. It’s those small details, and the way the staff put so much heart into everything, that makes this place truly special. I genuinely can’t fault a single thing about our stay. This has been one of the most incredible holidays we’ve ever had, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The Khao Lak Marriott is a true 5-star resort where everything is done at the highest level. The service is absolutely top the staff are professional, warm, and always attentive, making you feel taken care of from the moment you arrive. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautifully designed rooms, a perfect beachfront location, and world class facilities. There are plenty of activities to enjoy right at the resort a garden farm, water sports and wellness programs to cooking classes and family friendly entertainment. Whether you want to stay active or simply relax, the Marriott has it all. Dining is another highlight. The hotel offers several restaurants and bars, each with its own atmosphere and menu, ranging from Thai specialties to international cuisine. Chef Mohan gave us the best feeling and the most special treatment. The variety and quality of the food make it easy to enjoy something different every day without even leaving the resort. Service was amazing!!
