The staff were proactive in checking on our needs, and I highly recommend this place if you’re traveling with family — especially with kids. Their facilities are very child-friendly, and there’s so much to do to enjoy your stay. We had a small allergy scare, but it turned out to be nothing — just a false alarm. The staff made sure we got the help we needed, and it was reassuring to know the property has adequate medical facilities in case of emergencies. We truly enjoyed our time and felt safe throughout our stay.

Absolutely amazing service! After we checked out, my wife realized she had lost her sunglasses in the sea and we assumed they were gone for good. To our surprise, the hotel staff actually found them and went out of their way to contact us so we could come back and pick them up. Very nice overnight stay. We got an upgraded room which was very nice with a small balcony overlooking the beach and infinity pool. There are 3 pools. Several restaurants for which a reservation is required. The only restaurant without reservation is the buffet style one. There are actually 2 serving the same food though. There are a few areas and swimming pools designated as 16+ which is great for those without kids.

Wonderful hotel, we enjoyed our stay so much. This hotel has the most beautiful beach at the whole island, definitely recommend to stay here. Although you have to put a towel on your seat at the beach or at the pool early in the morning otherwise you have no space, because it's full of people. Nice and big rooms, majority of them have a view on the sea. The big main pool has the super warm water. We had all inclusive but it was actually not all inclusive but full board. Breakfast, lunch and dinner and then snacks till 2am. Drinks included, cocktails start at 2pm. For us it was okay, but some people may be disappointed, because there is not such a snack or fruit during the day outside of the hotel dining space. Unless you have ultra all inclusive. The food was not the best we had, not a lot of variety. We missed fruit, fish... We didn't like that the drinks were served during lunch and dinner. We waited so long sometimes. We would appreciate to bring it ourselves. Overall, it was still amazing and probably we will come again ❤️❤️

We stayed at Hampton by Hilton for 3 nights and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Here’s why: 1. Beach not available – One of the main reasons we booked this hotel was for the beach access. However, the beach is currently under heavy construction, and it’s not just noisy during the day – the loud construction work continues even at night, which made it difficult to relax or sleep. 2. Alternative beach access is poorly handled – They offer access to the DoubleTree Hilton beach, but guests from Hampton are placed at the far end in a very small corner, packed together like sardines. We were not allowed to use sunbeds in other areas, even though the beach and pool are technically shared. It felt restrictive and unfair. 3. TV experience is outdated – We wanted to watch a movie, but the Samsung TV only supports Android screen mirroring. There’s no Netflix app, just YouTube. ALL of the TV channels were in Arabic, with no international content. 4. No valet service. The only positives were the friendly and helpful staff, and the bed was very comfortable. They truly tried their best, which we appreciate, but sadly the overall experience didn’t meet expectations.

I had vacation on this hotel last year and even now I remember this time with a big pleasure. So I would like to thank staff for this 🫶🏻 First of all receptionist Abdel Ghany was helpful and nice. Rooms are big enough and clean with balcony and beautiful sea view. Beach was big enough, but wracks under water were too much. A lot of entertainment near the swimming pool. Breakfast, dinner and lunch were distinguished and delicious

Be aware: I don’t normally write bad reviews, but I feel I must share my experience so others can make an informed decision. The hotel is surrounded by multiple construction sites, and the noise levels were unbearable—drilling started at 6:30 AM and continued until 10 PM! It was incredibly loud, and we couldn’t sleep for the entire eight-night stay. I spoke to the manager, Hasan, who offered no real help other than moving us to another room—also in the middle of a construction site (see photos). I have also recorded videos from 6:30am but will upload later. I recently suffered a loss in my family and kindly requested an early checkout so we could get some much-needed rest, but the hotel showed no sympathy. I understand that development on the island will continue for another two years (until the end of 2026), so consider this your warning. As for entertainment, the hotel has the same singer performing every single night. While she is lovely, I expected more variety from Hilton. The food is very average, with long queues and a limited selection. Beyond the hotel, there’s only one mall, which the hotel provides a shuttle to and from. However, there isn’t much there, making the trip feel like a waste of time. My advice: If you can afford it, go to Dubai instead.

Absolutely happy with the accommodation. Clean, nice hotel, excellent service. Staff always helpful as long as you respect the rules. Does not distinguish the origin of the guest. WhatsApp communication perfect. Beach clean, sun beds and towels always enough. Meals tasty and plenty of everything. The food is different every day (same type of meat, different preparation and taste). There is always beef, chicken and some kind of fish. Lots of salads to make your own. Fewer alcoholic drinks, which is understandable given the location. Water is always available and can be delivered to your room on request. The only negative is the Russian guests who could at least learn please, thank you and where to queue when there is a queue. Unfortunately, this is not the fault of the hotel.

We spent a week at the hotel with our family, everything was great, they cleaned every day, everything was beautiful, neat, very polite staff, delicious food. I would like to add more seafood and fish. There was not enough quiet music by the pool. There is always something for children to do - there is a separate pool for the little ones, the main pool is also divided into parts, for children and adults, there is also a children's room where you can leave your child with a nanny, there the children play, do crafts, dance. We recommend this hotel for a family vacation.

The Mediterranean dinner by the beach under the stars was truly unforgettable. We also loved the vibe and ambiance at Mekong, which made for a perfect evening. Great hotel with amazing employees. We loved spacious elegant rooms and bathrooms, feeling of privacy and excellent service. Good restaurants and sandy beach with five-star service, comfortable sun beds. The hotel is perfect for couples and families, short breaks and longer stays, we stayed 9 days and did not get bored. Hotel is perfectly shaped and has good zoning so that all guests can enjoy their space, it does not have loud entertainment, so we had a good sleep. The team made us fell very welcomed, their care and attention to details made us feel at home. Special thanks to the manager of the Sea breeze restaurant, to the entire team of the pool bar and beach recreation team, especially to Omar with his genuine sense of hospitality and care. We had the most amazing time. Omar from Jalabar made our day! He was so courteous and friendly that we feel like coming over and over to be served by Omar again! My favorite resort! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty and attention to detail at this resort. The design blends luxury with nature, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and relaxing. The resort was full but you don't feel the crowd! The service is amazing, the staff are very professional and friendly, they went above and beyond to ensure an exceptional stay. Whether it was at the front desk, where we had a flawless welcome, or at the beach, or the buggy drivers, or the restaurants, every interaction was met with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything you could possibly need for a perfect vacation. From the charming villas, so nicely designed, includes everything you could need to the stunning main pool to the beautiful beach side and the exciting water activities, there was never a dull moment. The food was another highlight— whether it is the breakfast buffet, which has everything you could wish for, or the Jalabar at the pool side where every dish we tried was tasty! We also tried dining at the Chinese restaurant, highly recommended culinary experience, every dish was yummy. I can’t recommend this resort enough. It truly exceeded all expectations and left us with the most wonderful memories. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing hotel and resort - well equipped for families. Room is so clean and has great amenities - thank you Thaw for your services. The pools are really clean and although the hotel was fully booked, we were able to always find sun loungers. The food as set this hotel apart from others we have stayed in - there is plenty of choice for vegetarians and a great choice for kids too. Even the fussiest will have ample amounts to eat. Kids club was also great and our kids (3,4 and 5) enjoyed going there. Thank you to all the staff for always going above and beyond. A memorable first big family holiday.

I’d say it’s great value for money because this hotel has so much to offer for everyone. There is so much to do, with 9 pools (we tried 4), even a 24/7 pool, kids activities, indoor activities and so on. There is also a good pool bar. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are really friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We lost a key once, and they helped right away with no charge. They also provided a late checkout. The main restaurant is massive, with a good variety of food that tastes great. The atmosphere at the hotel is amazing. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and highly recommend it. If you plan to visit, get here early so you won’t miss the fun.

Best Kid-Friendly Resort We've Tried We've tried a bunch of resorts across the UAE with our two kids, but Sofitel Al Hamra tops the list. Their Kids Club isn't just a babysitting room -it's an actual creative, fun space with staff who know how to engage. There's also a teens hangout zone which kept our older child happy too. Plus, the splash area with water features is genius! Happy kids meant happy parents. Room service was quick and tailored for family needs. Already planning the next trip.

Lovely Resort! Staff are very friendly and the service is great. Kids outdoor play area could be much better. Quite a few open holes all over the gardens, these should be urgently looked at. Otherwise really great resort, will be back for sure. Bikram from Housekeeping is wonderful, Sumai from the Juice Bar is excellent, the Room Service Team is also very helpful and Jamal from Reception is amazing and incredibly helpful. Perfect boys' Weekend Four of us stayed in a two-bedroom suite for a weekend escape, and it was everything we needed. The room was stylish and spacious. Days were spent poolside sipping fresh coconuts, and nights were for dancing at Waka and lounging at Veritas. The spa gave us each customized treatments and even arranged a group booking. The staff made sure we felt pampered the whole time. We're definitely making this an annual tradition.

Disappointing "Ultra All Inclusive" Experience at The Cove Rotana - Expectations Not Met We have just returned from a two-night weekend stay at The Cove Rotana, where we had booked two rooms with the "Ultra All Inclusive" package for a total of approximately USD 1300 per day for 3 adults and 2 children. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell significantly short of the expectations for a resort that presents itself as a five-star establishment. The location of the resort is undoubtedly picturesque, nestled in a beautiful area. However, the beach is significantly affected by the tides, with the sea receding a considerable distance during the day, making the umbrellas very far from the water's edge. Despite the high cost for the "Ultra All Inclusive" service, access to the dedicated lounge and specific beach area did not offer the quality one would expect from a hotel of this category. The towels appeared visibly worn and faded. The beach service was practically non-existent, with no easy way to contact staff other than raising your voice. The quality of the ice cream was comparable to that of a fast-food chain, and lunch offered a limited and mediocre quality menu. I would like to emphasize the kindness and helpfulness of all the staff, who were always courteous. However, this positive note does not compensate for the structural and qualitative shortcomings of the resort. Our room reflected the same general conditions of wear and tear. The double bed consisted of two queen beds pushed together, with dated sheets of a quality more reminiscent of basic worker accommodation. The "Ultra All Inclusive" service should theoretically guarantee priority in the use of buggies, necessary for getting around the resort due to its hilly layout. In practice, this priority was not respected, forcing us to wait in long queues, especially when the hotel was fully booked. The management of meals also presented a problem. The basic buffet dinner ends at 9:30 PM, a time that, considering the time needed to return from the beach at sunset (around 6:30 PM), wash and prepare the children, and the wait for the buggies (at least 20 minutes), left little time to enjoy the evening or have a relaxed dinner. The à la carte restaurant included in our package had several items unavailable on the menu, further limiting the choices and creating difficulties with the children. Ultimately, the limited selection of "high-quality" dishes included in the package, combined with the restrictive meal times and the music ending at 10:00 PM, makes this resort, in our opinion, not up to par with other five-star all-inclusive resorts in Ras Al Khaimah. For those coming from abroad, I understand that the experience may seem superior and five-star. However, for someone like me who lives in a five-star residence in Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, the difference in treatment and quality is dramatically evident and extremely disappointing for the price paid. I hope this review will be helpful to other travelers in their choice. I hope the management will consider my honest review to improve their service.

We chose this resort based on the 5 star rating and I must say that we made the right decision! The location of this resort is perfect for relaxation and there is a lot of greenery! Everything here looks very well maintained and clean, the staff always tries to keep everything tidy, they really try to do only the best for the guests. Despite the fact that there are a lot of people here right now, the staff has my great admiration, because despite the chaos they still smile and do only the best for us. If you choose all inclusive, you get all kinds of food, there is a truly incredible selection of food that I can't believe it! from desserts to all kinds of meat, a rich selection of vegetables and fruits, a constant supply of water and drinks and the food is constantly replenished. Once again, I want to say that the staff has my great admiration and I wish them to continue to do well and constantly move forward! You can find all kinds of activities here, you can go for a massage, to the hairdresser, get a facial, go to the gym, the staff is very friendly everywhere and they will be happy to help you with everything. Thank you for everything you do for us and we will definitely visit you again sometime!

We have been to other hotel resort here in RAK, but by far cove rotana is the best! We love the villa type apartments, it gives the vibe that your in another country. The beach is amazing. You can relax and enjoy the nature view. We love that you care and look after all the animals in the resort, specially the cats. Friendly and accommodating staffs. We will sure come back again! This resort is one of a kind. .

Stayed in this hotel during family vacation in April 2025. When we arrived, hotel was quite overcrowded and we had to wait in the lobby before the check-in. Same story everywhere - at the restaurant, pools and bars. Seems like hotel capacity is not perfectly matched with the number of guests. Food was good, alcohol was also fine. Overall service is quite good with a few exceptions, staff is quite friendly and eager to help. Beach was great with plenty of space and white sand, definitely worth it. Checkout experience was not great as we had a late flight. You have to leave the room at 12:00, hotel refused to provide late check out due to lack of rooms, but on the other side they don't offer any comfortable options for you to stay until your transfer. You can use hotel facilities but there are no lockers or any kind of rooms where you can leave your stuff and change at least i wasn't informed how to access those. This hotel is okay but probably not for this price.

Given the location, International guests will always be arriving early in the morning; the fact only snacks area available until 3pm instead of meals is not ideal. The food quality at places is definitely not 5-star (burger outlet) and the fact you need to be on your phone at 11am to secure a premium restaurant is ridiculous having paid thousands to stay at the resort. Despite staying six days, could not get a reservation at Meat. Main restaurant is OK but crowded and this was during a period when the hotel is running at 2/3rd capacity due to renovation. Adjacent hotels I have stayed at definitely offer a better experience on food and beverage. Choice of literally one pool if you have kids and it's majorly overrun. Especially when only two accommodation blocks open. Signs posted everywhere that towels are removed from loungers after 3o mins to stop people blocking them off but this was never enforced. I'd hate to be at this resort when it's a full capacity! Sports Bar with no food option? Why? Hotel rooms are good but for the price, are they really value for money. The inclusive minibar has only Budweiser as an alcoholic beverage and even then its one can and not replenished daily. Cheap potato snacks which could easily have been substituted for nuts or dried fruits would be a better idea. Overall, does not feel we got value for money at Rixos. There are better options a few doors down!

This was our second time staying at this hotel. It isn't especially fancy, particularly by Emirates standards, but comfortably met all of our needs and was sensibly priced (again, particularly by Emirates standards). That meant we could afford a room upgrade and to take advantage of the massages offered at the spa. The hotel offered us plenty of places to bask in the 30-degree March sunshine and respectable food options. Our room this time round looked like it could use a little bit of updating but we understand this is in fact ongoing, and the room still had the two things you really want in the UAE, namely, great views and great A/C. As a bonus it had an expansive and very sunny balcony, too, from which you could see both east over the ocean and west over the Gulf - Al Marjan island is very skinny where the hotel sits, so it stretches almost all the way across. The hotel was not full but felt lively with plenty of young families there. That said the adults-only pool and section by the buffet were well policed. The room was cleaned and made up efficiently; the food was fine in the buffet and better again in the a la carte eating spaces; the staff were unfailingly welcoming and polite. Hotel performances are not really my thing but from the shows going on in the background when we were in the restuarants and bars it was obvious even to me that the entertainment team was full of talented individuals, too. The only real downside while we were there was the temporary lack of beach access due to the local authority deciding to carry out beach widening. The hotel had arranged regular shuttle buses to other hotels in the area which did still have beach access but, given the plentiful spaces around the pool, we didn't feel the need to try that out. We did, however, take daily walks along the broad promenade running past the hotel on the Gulf side, perfect for watching sunsets. All in all it was a really good early spring break and we're certainly going to consider coming back to this hotel in the future.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for families. The food was extremely good with a great variety, catering to different tastes and preferences. It is an excellent choice for families, offering numerous activities to keep children engaged and entertained. The cocktails were fantastic, adding to the enjoyable experience. The hotel's ambiance was warm and inviting, creating a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. The only downside I noticed was that the TV was not a smart TV and did not support YouTube, which would have been helpful for keeping the kids entertained. Overall, this hotel provides a great experience with excellent food, drinks, and service. I would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and couldn’t fault it at all. The staff are always smiling and are happy to serve you, they work tirelessly. Everywhere is kept spotlessly clean. The adult only infinite pool area is perfect for couples as is the adult only area in the buffet where the food has lots of choice with something to suit all tastes. Must make a special mention for Imalka and Bryan for their amazing service during our stay, they are a credit to the hotel. Overall this is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in over the years. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back! The half-board was perfect for us. A daily highlight: the complimentary Chocolate Hour with cookies, fruit, and a chocolate fountain! The food was varied and delicious, with changing international dishes every day — we especially loved the Indian cuisine. The area is beautifully designed, and the turquoise sea is stunning. Tip: Try the rooftop shisha at sunset in the Skybar! There was some construction noise, but it was barely noticeable — mostly drowned out by the fun weekend DJ sets and jet skis. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but never intrusive. We especially loved the ‚Ula‘ area — adults-only, with a private pool, sea access, and comfy loungers. Bonus: two free 1.5L bottles of water daily in the room. Everything was spotless. Tip: If you’re not coming with a package, the hotel can arrange your taxi transfer.

Highly recommended! I just got back from a stay at Mövenpick Resort in Marjan Island, and it was an unforgettable experience! The resort's services are top-notch, catering to every need with efficiency and a smile. The Kids Zone is a fantastic feature, providing endless entertainment for the little ones. Lastly, I must commend the friendliness and supportiveness of the staff, especially at the front desk. From the moment we arrived, they were nothing but nice, helpful, highly responsive, and professional. Had such an amazing time at Mövenpick Resort Al Marjan Island! Right from the start, the front office team made us feel super welcome — always smiling, super helpful, and just genuinely nice people. Check-in was smooth, and they were happy to help with anything we needed throughout the stay. The resort itself is such a great escape from the usual daily routine. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and just what we needed to recharge. Plus, it’s really family-friendly — there’s something for everyone, whether you just want to chill or keep the kids entertained. Big shoutout to the front desk crew — you made our stay even better! Would 100% come back again, and totally recommend it if you’re looking for a laid-back, family-friendly getaway.

Our stay has been great at the Intercontinental RAK. The rooms were very spacious and our request at connecting rooms was met on arrival. We were also extremely pleased to have our rooms ready at 11am which helped with our 2 kids. The buffet provided here is great and was enjoyed by us all. The pools were great and they never felt crowded at all. Finally kids club - amazing! The kids absolutely loved it especially the movie night with freshly made popcorn. Would also like to say a special thank you to Sadak and Bablu for always providing us with a spotless room daily. Fresh towels provided and beds made for us. A few minor suggestions would be an update to the AI option offered and more staff by pool bar and to offer decaffeinated tea (I missed having my tea all week). We are hoping to definitely be back again!

Me and my family had an amazing stay at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah! The location was breathtaking, and the service was exceptional. Our room 055 was spotless and comfortable, with Hafeez and Komal providing outstanding room service. The pool area was fantastic, and Emmanuel (pool attendant) and Thomas (pool waiter) made our experience seamless with their attentive service. Overall, the hospitality was top-notch, making our stay truly memorable. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

Loved waking up and slipping into the private pool and watching the wildlife at sunrise. The falconry shows were great and the grounds extensive. We would love to come back.

The place is even better than on the pictures. The staff has been extremely great with my son Johan and have gone above and beyond to make his stay memorable. The restaurant staf is super friendly and the we loved the birds of prey, the guide is from SA and really knowledgeable. Big recommendation.

We had such an amazing time at the resort with our two little ones. It is a very beautiful property, very clean, free up bugs despite being right in the desert, lots of wild life right outside the window. But what truly set the resort apart were the staff - everyone went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Special shout out to Javid at equestrian who gave great recommendations for activities and ensure our kids felt comfortable, babu for a very memorable camel ride, Ibrahim for a great wildlife experience, Mani & Chef Sunil at Khaleea for such personalized service and mouth watering food and Favour & Reem at the kids club - they were simply delightful and caring toward our children - the club itself is one of the best ones we ever been to. Niraj stood out from the shuttle drivers.

Stayed here a few nights and honestly, it’s one of the best resorts I’ve been to in the UAE. It’s in the middle of the desert, but it’s so quiet, peaceful, and well-designed that it feels like you’ve left the world behind — in a good way. The villa was massive. Private pool, proper secluded, and really nicely done inside. Felt more like a private home than a hotel room. You wake up to oryx and gazelles just wandering around outside your villa. It's surreal. The service was faultless. Every single person we interacted with was polite, helpful, and not in that robotic hotel way — it actually felt genuine. They all seemed like they actually liked working there, which makes a difference. Food-wise, everything we had was great. Breakfast had loads of choice, and dinner at Farmhouse was top-end — proper fine dining in the middle of nowhere. We also did the Destination Dining thing one night in the dunes, and that was pretty magical. Candlelit table, stars above you, no noise, just you and the desert. Spa is worth doing too. Did the rainforest thing, which was way better than I expected — bit gimmicky at first glance but actually super relaxing. Massage afterwards was excellent. Honestly, if you’re looking for a place to switch off, unwind, and feel a million miles from Dubai while only being an hour away, this is it. Not cheap, but worth every dirham. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Checking out after one night even though this is a two night stay. The construction is one thing but there is a lack of competency from the onset - from me emailing in advance about children, and the ritz having zero preparation for appropriate cots and safety measures, I even emailed re room layout. They could have sent a picture of the cot (disastrous btw)! Also there’s poor communication been house keeping. The restaurant staff at Shore are wonderful and Arun, Deepu, Moe and ALL Shore staff are fantastic Its definitely not five star service nor quality hotel Having emailed in advance about a child, pushchair, cot (several times) at not one point has ritz team mentioned there’s no ramp but a tiny one floor disabled access lift, which is outside the restaurant. The property is dated, whilst the hotel may want to preserve the historical look, they can still afford touch ups given the price of a night here

Breakfast was also delicious with the menu they have, in addition, for the in room dining food was so nice. Great place to enjoy staycation.. sure going back with my kids 🫶🏻

We’ve just left after a 2 night stay. We booked as a little getaway from Dubai with our 9 month old daughter and from the moment we arrived. From the valet to leaving, everything was perfect. The staff truly are 5* and took care of all of our needs and went over and above to ensure we were taken care of and our baby had everything she needed. We cannot wait to return. See you again soon.

We are regulars of their Thursday night. Steak and sangria special. After being seated in a near empty restaurant, we were told that we needed to order a la carte as there was not enough steak available that night. Then we were told there weren't enough tables available for those without a reservation. And finally, when I reached a manager, we were told there wasn't enough sangria as a group of 20 was coming later in the evening. Most definitely NOT the level of service expected from the Ritz Carlton. Reservations were never previously needed nor listed in their advertisement.
