We recently returned from our second stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, and once again, we had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we noticed how clean and well cared for the entire property was. Our room was spotless, and it was great to see staff consistently around, keeping everything fresh and tidy around the huge hotel complex.
The food overall was very good. As vegetarians, we did notice some repetition in the buffet options, but what was available was always of great quality. The drinks were perfectly fine for us (we’re not big drinkers anyway), and the desserts were a consistent highlight, a great selection every time, much better than many other hotels we've stayed in nearby.
A real standout from this trip was the service we received from a manager named Dev. We had a few small issues at the start of our stay, but once we spoke with him, everything changed for the better. He was attentive, friendly, and proactive, making sure our baby’s meals were handled perfectly from then on. His care and attention made the whole experience feel much more personal and special.
While we’d love to see a little more variety in the vegetarian buffet in the future, everything else was spot on. A huge thank you to Dev and his team for going above and beyond, we truly appreciated it.
We’d happily return for a third visit!

We stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa, Marjan Island from Nov 9–12, 2025: myself, my wife, and our 7-year-old son and overall had a wonderful family staycation.
Check-in was smooth, although we had requested early check-in and our room was only ready at 3pm. We arrived around 1:30pm, had lunch, and received the keys afterward. The sea-view room was worth the wait - clean, comfortable, and with a beautiful, spacious balcony overlooking the water.
The only disappointment was the food. Despite staying for 3 nights, the buffet spread felt repetitive and lacked variety.
Everything else, however, was excellent.
a) The Pirates-themed water park was a huge hit with our son (and us!).
b) Great beach access and fun swimming pools.
c) The all-inclusive package made things easier, and drinks from the included liquor menu were always available.
d) Evening entertainment like the kids’ disco and fire show added to the experience.

We have returned to the Double Tree after 7 years and it was a wonderful week again. The beach is beautiful, ideal for children to swim and play in, build sandcastles etc.
Rooms are spacious and there is a lot of room for clothes, and everything you need for beach holiday. Special thanks to Dinjesh, who kept our room clean and helped with anything we needed.
Food is really nice as well, I think there is a choice for everyone for each meal. Special shout out to Zin, who took such a great care of us during each meal.
Guests were 80% Russians, so be prepared for it. It didn't ruin my our holidays, but I would think twice about it next time. It needs to be said that if a hotel is almost exclusively occupied by one nationality it is always a pain.

Amazing stay at this amazing hotel! All the staff were absolutely brilliant from the Receptionists, Chefs, Waiters, Drink Bars, Towel Staff, Lifeguards, Porters and Cleaners (probably others I may have forgotten). The service was quick and spot on with a smile at each time. Special mention to Nan & Blessing during meal times who went out of their way to make our meal times such a pleasant experience. They made us and our children smile so much and brought them strawberries and a cake to say thank you to us! Another special mention to our cleaner Venkata who always made sure our room was cleaned thoroughly, on time and always checked in with us from time to time to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you to these three special staff members but also to everyone else who made our stay an unforgettable holiday with lasting memories! The views you get at this hotel are breathtaking and you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing hotel for kids and adult but alot for the kids to do. Hotel is immaculately clean everything from the beach to the pool to the gym was kept to a high standard. All inclusive food was amazing too so much to choose from and different theme nights. The staff all went above and beyond! Every single one was friendly from the lifeguards to the check in staff to the diner staff etc. Wha in the al marjan restaurant stood out to us the most as she really gave us her time and was so friendly and efficient. She is such a kind person.

I had a fantastic stay at Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort. The location is stunning, with beautiful private beaches, excellent facilities, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, offering great comfort and breathtaking views.
One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service, especially at the bar. Nil, the bartender, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to make the best drinks with a great attitude. He truly elevated the experience with his professionalism and warm personality.
Overall, I highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a perfect getaway. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing hotel and resort - well equipped for families. Room is so clean and has great amenities - thank you Thaw for your services. The pools are really clean and although the hotel was fully booked, we were able to always find sun loungers. The food as set this hotel apart from others we have stayed in - there is plenty of choice for vegetarians and a great choice for kids too. Even the fussiest will have ample amounts to eat. Kids club was also great and our kids (3,4 and 5) enjoyed going there. Thank you to all the staff for always going above and beyond. A memorable first big family holiday.

I’d say it’s great value for money because this hotel has so much to offer for everyone. There is so much to do, with 9 pools (we tried 4), even a 24/7 pool, kids activities, indoor activities and so on. There is also a good pool bar. The rooms are spacious and clean.
The staff are really friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We lost a key once, and they helped right away with no charge. They also provided a late checkout.
The main restaurant is massive, with a good variety of food that tastes great. The atmosphere at the hotel is amazing. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and highly recommend it. If you plan to visit, get here early so you won’t miss the fun.

My group of friends had a nice staycation at this hotel. It's absolutely luxurious, and the buffet breakfast was totally amazing. We enjoyed all the amenities provided during our stay. We rented a villa that accommodates four people and had a really lovely time here. Kudos, and we're waiting for a good price to visit again.

Great hotel location. The rooms are nice and lots of them have a great view out to the ocean, facilities are also very good with lots of pools (most are temperature controlled) and good access to the beach with lots of loungers for guests. Lots of food options with multiple restaurants and bars - except some places don’t serve food after the early afternoon. Service is sometimes not the best at the restaurants on the beach and by the pool with it taking a long time to get menus and cutlery etc.
The staff will also kindly take you in a golf cart to the other side of the hotel if you wish! Or you can of course walk it.
Overall a very nice stay at the Hilton.

Room clean well maintained minibar restocked daily with beer soft drinks and snacks
As a couple appreciated adults only areas. Infinity pool a lovely chilled out area couple of afternoon's DJ and saxophonist played.
Buffet restaurant had a fabulous selection of food - had to be something to cater for all needs. I also liked how you were shown to a table.
We booked into the Italian, Steak and Turkish restaurants - I thought the idea that this area was set up like a little village was great! You never felt rushed and each had excellent three course choices - some evenings entertainment was at the stage next to this area
We also went to the Italian/toast and burger on a lunch time so again nice to try rather than buffet restaurant.
Plenty of bars around resort most open until 1am - my only criticism was the sports bar (indoor bar) allowed smoking inside. Good choice of sports on TV even put my partners football teams match on for him when he asked
Staff in all areas where extremely polite and credit to the hotel!

My only criticism which is not the hotels fault! Was on s few evenings there was a most diabolical smell not sure if it was from a factory/building works - as I said not alot the hotel could do about this but on those nights had to go to indoor bars when the entertainment was outside
Entertainment team had activities going on during the day and did a fabulous job on an evening some amazing dancers!
Can't really comment on the rest of the activities as went to chill out for a week so didnt try anything else other than the spa!

We are currently midway through our second stay at Rixos Bab Al Bahr, and once again it has exceeded all expectations. This time we came with my brother’s family and booked a suite room — the space is excellent, beautifully maintained, very clean, and perfect for families.
The culinary team has truly gone above and beyond for us, especially when it comes to preparing fresh meals every day for the babies. Everything tastes authentic and made with care. A special shout-out to Chef Selim, Krishna, and Pradeep for their outstanding work and genuine dedication.
Service across the hotel has been remarkable. Randell and Allen at the Asha Lounge Café consistently deliver outstanding service, and every staff member we’ve met has been warm, attentive, and professional.
A heartfelt thank you to Polina Arzamastseva, the Guest Relations Manager, whose support has been nothing short of perfect. She goes out of her way to make sure every detail is taken care of, and we truly can’t fault a single thing she has done for our family.
We’re already planning our third stay next year. Having visited six other Rixos hotels, we can confidently say that Rixos Bab Al Bahr is by far the best of them all.

I have stayed at this hotel three times. The hotel is truly elegant and luxurious. The lobby is spacious and bright, offering a delicious variety of drinks and desserts. The rooms are large, and the swimming pool is big with several sections. There is also a dedicated area for children’s games. The breakfast menu is rich and delicious, as well as lunch and dinner. The hotel is very family-friendly, and I really enjoyed staying there.

Had a very nice holiday. Food is very tasty and a la carte restaurants are better than many restaurants in Dubai,especially meat. My son had a great time with activities and the beach. I recently stayed at Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, and the location is perfect for relaxing. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay.
The staff were very friendly and professional, especially Chaw Su, who works as a waitress. She was extremely polite, helpful, and provided excellent service during my stay. Her kindness and positive attitude really made my experience even better.
Overall, I had a great stay and truly enjoyed my time here. I would definitely recommend Pullman Resort Al Marjan Island to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

My stay at Pullman Ras Al Khaimah was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the very first moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. I would like to give special thanks to the amazing receptionist Saeed Mohamed. Honestly, he was a major reason behind how comfortable and satisfied I felt throughout my stay. During our stay, we encountered a few minor issues; however, the professionalism and dedication of the staff truly made all the difference. We had an amazing stay at Sofitel Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah! We visited as a family with friends, and everything was perfect. The beach is stunning.. clean, wide, and perfect for relaxing. The pool is one of the biggest in the UAE, and we all enjoyed spending time there. The service was excellent, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. Special mention to the hotel manager, who was very welcoming and made sure our experience was memorable.
Highly recommended.. definitely one of the best hotels in RAK!

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Al Hamra. The location is perfect, right by the mall and just a short walk to the golf club. The vibe is lively but still relaxing. The pool is huge with lots of spots to lounge, and the private beach is peaceful and beautiful. There’s also a small water park that’s great for kids.
The rooms are spacious and well-designed, and we also stayed in the villas with balconies, which offered amazing privacy. The bathroom amenities are eco-friendly, and the hand wash and lotions feel very high-end so as the body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
Breakfast could use some improvement for the price, but Waka has plenty of menu options to enjoy. Overall, the experience was excellent. The staff were kind and attentive. Mohammad, the night manager, was especially polite and helpful.

We travel frequently and stay in many (high-end) 5-star hotels around the world, but we have never experienced such a discrepancy between rating and reality. Although this property was recently renovated, the overall quality, cleanliness, and management fall far below 5-star standards.
The rooms look nice, but housekeeping is inconsistent. Basic cleaning tasks were repeatedly overlooked, and our shower gel remained empty for three days. Our room change was poorly handled, with luggage left behind for hours despite several calls.
A central issue is that the hotel appears poorly managed, severely unorganized and with inadequately trained personnel. There is little coordination, no visible quality control, and many areas feel neglected. The gym is too small, the mirrors are blind, and many loungers are worn or stained.
Importantly, according to local 5-star classification standards, an evening Turn‑Down Service is required, which includes preparing the room for the night and replenishing amenities. This service was completely missing throughout our stay, further highlighting the lack of proper management and attention to 5-star expectations.
The most unacceptable problem is the strong, persistent smell of garbage throughout the resort every morning. Even in the breakfast area, the air is unpleasant, with a noticeable sweat odor. Hygiene and food quality urgently need improvement: the Shakshuka contained raw egg, the bread was stale, and several items did not appear fresh. Overall, the property gives a neglected, poorly maintained impression.
The beach is in poor and partly hazardous condition: the “sand” is actually coarse gravel with crushed shells and corals, and we even encountered nails. Sunbed management is chaotic, with long-term reservations left unchecked. Additionally, a membership program for local residents further reduces availability for hotel guests.
Even in the top restaurant we found bird droppings on chairs — unacceptable for a property claiming 5-star luxury.
In its current state, this hotel does not meet international 5-star standards. We strongly advise against booking until significant improvements in management, staffing, training, cleanliness, hygiene, and overall operations are made.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful seaside resort. Our room was huge, with a spacious bathroom and an outdoor seating area offering a breathtaking sea view.
Breakfast was decent, though not quite up to the 5-star standards usually seen in the UAE, in my opinion. However, the dine-around option was fantastic — we enjoyed wonderful dinners at the Ritz-Carlton, Waldorf Astoria, and the hotel’s own restaurant.
The beach was stunning — large, with white sand and crystal-clear water. Club Millésime was another highlight; Jamal was incredibly accommodating and made us feel completely at home.
A big thank-you to Charlene at the front desk for her professionalism and warm welcome and Adi was very helpful with our luggages.
Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious seaside escape!

Had an amazing staycation for my birthday! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. Mr. Yousif welcomed us warmly at check-in, and the housekeeping by Mr. Jefin was excellent. When we checked out, Mr. Ibrahim and Mr. Suliman were incredibly helpful, and a special thanks to Chef Boutroys for taking great care of my food allergies.

A truly luxurious hotel in every sense of the word. The receptionist was very polite and respectful, and he upgraded our room when he saw we had children aged 7 and 8, since the lobby was crowded and he didn’t want us to wait any longer. The room was extremely elegant—almost like a suite (unfortunately, I forgot his name). Many thanks and appreciation to him.
The lobby was very classy, and their desserts and coffee were delicious. The breakfast buffet was tasty and diverse. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed 5 nights in November 2025;
Great Hotel, all the staff is professional and always of goodwill, on some occasion we noticed that training could be perfected, but nothing bad.
Hotel itself is not new and it shows, some wears here and there but still very comfortable.
During our stay we used most facilities, tennis courts, spa, gym, we noticed a lot of attentions from the staff which was really appreciated.
Rooms, are large and comfortable.
The only downside to us was the quality of food at the buffet, it is not bad, but not great either (breakfast and dinner included in halfboard) I think at this price point it could be really better with more variation everyday.
We had lunch and dinner at other restaurants of this hotel, it was good, especially the Lexington Grill, good quality, great cooking, and staff was really amazing. It is expensive though, but usual for this type of resort.
On our last day, during a talk with desk staff, they mentioned the hotel was at full capacity, I find it hard to believe honestly because hotel felt empty, we never had to wait for sunbeds, breakfast, or anything else. Maybe this is true because of the renovation (which was not really a disturbance to be honest)
All in all, except for the buffet which became quickly boring and disappointing, everything was absolutely perfect, thanks to all the amazing staff, always smiling, always accommodating.

Stayed here in a golf course facing room. The room was lovely, large king and a huge balcony to enjoy a morning coffee.
Very spacious dressing room and bathroom also. Just what you'd expect!
Live piano in the lobby and falcons to hold on arrival.
The staff couldn't be nicer, the booking was very easy over the phone.
We ate in the resteraunt, the food was delicious and fast service! A good children's menu also.
The pools and beach are excellent 👌 lots to do or just lounge on a chair.
We will absolutely be back, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.
To add.....my daughter left her doll in the hotel room. We only noticed once we got home. The hotel was amazing, it had found the doll and stored it, then we arranged postage to our house, supet quick and amaxing service! Thank you

Our stay at the Waldorf RAK was a welcome short break for a 3 nights. Arriving 2 on Friday we had access to the pool amenities whilst they finished cleaning our upgraded room. Once ready they called me and we went up to a wonderful room overlooking the pool.
The room was spacious and had a fantastic bathroom. The walk in shower was great!
The hotel wasn’t busy so finding space by the pool wasn’t a struggle. We spent most of the day lounging in the sun.
In the evenings, we booked ahead for the Lexington (Friday) and Uni (Saturday) both were fantastic.
Sunday however the options were more limited and so we gave the buffet a try. It was Arabic themed and was - compared to the two previous nights dining - a bit of a let down.
Fortunately Mondays breakfast reminded us of the good bits.
A few pointers
- the coffee in the breakfast was hit and miss, mostly miss. If you like your coffee use the nespresso machine in the room.
- happy hour (by the pool then the restaurants) are definitely worth taking advantage - if only to take the edge of the price a little.
- instead of the buffet Sunday, try a late meal at the Italian near the pool.
- take shoes to the beach. It’s quite a walk and full of sharp shells.
Right now there is some construction going on as they retrofit the residences. So there is noise. Not deafening but notable.
Whilst it was great - I’m only giving it 4 stars - we stayed at the Waldorf in DIFC a month prior and it was ja notch higher. Nonetheless a great hotel, with great staff. Go if you like old school decadence over modern chic

Our company booked our JAM Summer Outing at this hotel from Sep 2nd - 3rd (2025) & honestly, it’s 1 of the coolest 5 star hotels I've seen. 🏆 Hotel is huge & has a really fancy vibe. I didn’t have a single complaint coz their service was fantastic. 👌 All the staff we met were super friendly, smiling & really helpful. My room was great as everything I needed was already there & their toiletries were branded. 🎉 I esp. loved the big bathroom/toilet as it was super clean. The hallways are wide & lifts are easily accessible from anywhere in the hotel.
Our CEO booked for almost 25 rooms for all of us who decided to stay overnight at the hotel while some of my colleagues went home after dinner at Lexington Grill & Bar. We also had a great time at the breakfast buffet. 💜
Again huge thanks to our company's owner for letting us experience this getaway at such a awesome hotel & to all the staff too huge shoutout! 🎉 Oh & I almost forgot, we also enjoyed water activities like jet skiing & speed boat rides all paid for by our MD. 😍 We totally recommend this hotel as u won’t regret staying here. Gonna miss hanging out here & it’s gonna be a perfect memory for me 🙏

Fantastic Family Stay at beachfront hotel!
We had an unforgettable family vacation at this stunning beachfront hotel. The spacious rooms with breathtaking sea views were perfect for relaxing. The resort features an amazing pool area and direct beach access, making it ideal for families. Our kids loved the on-site Water Park—it’s a must-visit for fun and entertainment! The dining options were excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. If you’re looking for a family-friendly hotel with great amenities, beautiful views, and outstanding service, this is the place to stay!

We have visited this hotel five times, and each stay has been exceptional thanks to the outstanding service and the wonderful staff.
We usually stay in the beachfront pool villa, and everything is always perfectly arranged before our arrival, all thanks to our amazing butler, Abdel. His attention to detail and warm hospitality make every stay feel special.
A big thank you to the housekeeping team for keeping our villa spotless, and to the room service team for the delicious food and top-notch service.
A special thanks to Abdel for taking such great care of us throughout our stay. Your efforts truly make a difference.

Was a nice trip, would suggest if you can to stay in the intercontinental club side for the extra perks such as cocktail hour and the adults only pool. Can also have breakfast in the club lounge which is far more relaxed than the overcrowded main buffet.
Grounds are tidy and overall a very pretty resort.
Staff are absolutely wonderful here so friendly and personable and made the holiday.
The pools however can do with some maintenance as tiles are falling off.
Dining- Saffar is far too small for the whole hotel especially since many people stay in the resort for dinner as there isn’t much choice outside. At times felt very canteen like and took the whole meal to receive drinks.
Lavant and Nar had very poor service and was a really disappointing evening.
NoHo was quite nice but again service was slow.
The spa was nice but I would suggest a post massage relaxation area for the tea. After the massage you just get dressed and are directed to go back to the reception which was a shame.
The gym was pretty lack lustre with only one bench and the showers are ice cold.
Overall was a nice quick break but some places they could work on.

We dined several times at Saffar Restaurant in the InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab, and every visit was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was always busy, the team went above and beyond to look after us and make us feel like family.
The Indian food was particularly outstanding – full of authentic flavor and perfectly cooked – while the pizza and pasta kept kids happy every time.
A huge thank you to Milan, who took amazing care of us, and to Prateek, Shiraz, Renuka, Chandra, the Deputy Manager, Moses, Juni and countless others I know I've missed - sorry- for their warmth and professionalism. Their service was friendly, attentive, and genuine. Thank you for topping up my rose wine ;) The best service we’ve experienced in Ras Al Khaimah. We left every meal smiling. We will miss you all.

We had an excellent stay. The hotel and it's staff are excellent. Starting with our housekeeper Tulsi who ensured our room was clean and well stocked. The pool and beach access was and added plus. The property is expansive but the hotel provides buggies to shuttle you around. Great for weekend getaways for two as well as long stays for families.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The natural surroundings were stunning, from the greenery to the calm atmosphere, everything felt refreshing. The sea was incredibly beautiful, with clear water and peaceful views that made the whole experience even better.
The hotel kindly upgraded our booking from a room to a chalet since it was our first visit, which was a lovely gesture. We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and the upgrade made the occasion even more special.
The accommodation services were excellent; the staff were helpful, everything was well-organized, and the chalet was comfortable and clean. Overall, our stay was smooth, relaxing, and exceeded my expectations. I would happily recommend this hotel to others and would love to come back again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and it was truly one of the best experiences I have ever had. A special thanks to the front office staff – Ajay, Zeeshan och Babar – for the exceptionally warm welcome. They made me feel completely at home, almost like being among family.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful lady who prepares masala chai in the breakfast area. Her warm smile and kindness made a lasting impression on me. Unfortunately, I did not catch her name, but she truly made my mornings memorable.
Overall, an outstanding stay. Highly recommended. 🥰

It was a weekend get away with friend at Mövenpick Al Majan Island.
Area of hotel is huge focused a lot on entertaining facilities for kids, greeneries, island like beach infrastructure.
We had a superior room with sea view and really loved it. Spacious, equipped with all you need ( even wireless iPhone charger which helped a lots as I forgot mine 😅)
Stuff is very friendly and welcoming! Smooth check-in with welcome drinks and refreshing towels, fast luggage delivery to the room. And main thing no wait since we arrived before time.
There are three different restaurants which my favorite was Boons - we had a blast with seafood brunch there ( happens every saturday ) - selection of food is absolutely amazing. Check the video. Live band made us get to dance floor and mix of cocktails made of bartender with great smile.
Beach is clean, water was just perfect. Full recharge and feeling new.
In the evening we attended Sky Bar - 10th floor - fool view of Al Majan. I love good views so for me it was ideal place to end the day.
Overall very flawless experience. It’s a place to comeback from back to recharge from busy Dubai.

We are very grateful to Movenpick for allowing us to bring our medium sized dog on holiday. We were given a beautiful sea facing chalet with a large terrace. The room was a decent size considering the huge terrace that was included. Our chalet was in a special zone and it was lovely and quiet, a 2 minute walk to ULA (their best restaurant, imo) and the beach and the adult swimming pool.
The beds were comfortable and both the ac and the WiFi were excellent.
The service was excellent (except on two occasions) and I want to take the opportunity to mention Nikhil who was very polite and helpful.
The breakfast too was worth every penny and gave us a vast choice of foods that were well presented and cooked well.
We loved the beach and the adult swimming pool too.
The food in Ula is the best. We had a discount card and could eat very well at very reasonable rates.
The rooftop bar looked somewhat depressing with heavy humidity and loud music and a few tables that were occupied.
IMO, the restaurant Boon leaves a lot to be desired. The food was good but the service and the bar could do with some huge improvement. We found the ambience too to be that of the mid 90s and quite frankly, depressing.
Our overall experience was very good and we hope to go there again.
I hope our suggestions about a special welcome room for guests with dogs, improvement of service in Boon and a full length mirror in the room are not ignored.

We planned a short 2-day staycation at The Cove Rotana, but the experience was so delightful that we couldn’t resist extending our trip. The property itself is breathtaking with its peaceful lagoon views and beautiful architecture. It feels like a little Mediterranean escape right here in the UAE.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home and a little extra special. This trip was about surprising my husband, and everyone went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Personal requirements were taken care of with so much warmth and attention.
Huge thank you to Amir at the reception for a smooth check-in and making our extension hassle-free. At the restaurants, Nandhu, Sheryl, and Anastasia served us with such kindness and smiles that every meal felt like a celebration.
The spa experience was an absolute highlight. Ahmed did a wonderful job, and Salem along with the team made sure everything was relaxing and well arranged.
A big appreciation to the staff who were super quick with luggage and room services, making things easy and comfortable throughout our stay.
Most of all, a heartfelt thank you to Syed Rishabh for planning the special surprise for my husband and ensuring our date night turned into a memory we will cherish forever.
We left with happy hearts and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical and personalized staycation experience! 💙✨

We chose Cove because we heard many good reviews, but honestly it was a very disappointing experience
We booked and upgraded to a villa to celebrate a birthday
We started the day at the sunset pool where the staff were rude to us, he didn’t allow us to have any drinks because it was the day we checked in, an he’s the same staff member who didn’t allow us to have drinks the day after because we were checking out, when am I allowed to have drinks?
We went to the buffet to eat, i don’t know where to even start from. The dishes smelled off, the food was inedible, there wasn’t much to choose from to eat so we left feeing hungrier than we came, as the only food we could eat was pineapple.
We went to shower after; the water was freezing cold, we called the reception to help, they said they couldn’t help us. I had to go to the reception and speak to the manager to get it fixed!! Or else no one would’ve listened to us.
The manager Mohammad Sonbol was really nice to us, he gave us access to the BBQ that was supposed to be “fully booked” as the receptionist informed us earlier in the day. And it was empty!!
The breakfast today morning, it was the same disaster in terms of smell and variety of food, even poached egg weren’t an option.
As I go twice a month to RAK for staycations, this would be my last time in Cove and I will make sure to share this review online so other people don’t face the same problem when pay 5K for one night in a hotel where it’s supposed to be an all inclusive and clean 5 star hotel.

Our recent stay at The Cove was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we checked in, everything felt effortless, luxurious, and completely relaxing. The entire resort radiates calm and comfort — beautifully maintained grounds, stunning ocean views, and staff who genuinely go above and beyond to make every guest feel special.
We chose the all-inclusive package, and I can honestly say it was worth every penny. Having everything taken care of made the experience so stress-free — meals & drinks were all included, which allowed us to fully unwind and just enjoy ourselves. Every meal was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh, flavorful dishes that catered to all tastes. Whether we were having breakfast overlooking the water, enjoying lunch by the pool, or savoring a beautifully prepared dinner, the food quality and presentation were consistently five-star. The cocktails were delicious too — expertly made and always served with a smile!
Our room was spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, with an incredible view that made it hard to leave each morning. The housekeeping team was attentive and discreet, keeping everything fresh and perfect throughout our stay. The attention to detail in the design and amenities made it feel like a true luxury escape.
And I can’t say enough good things about the spa — it was honestly the highlight of the entire trip. If you visit The Cove, make sure you book at least one spa treatment; it’s an absolute must!
The resort itself offers plenty to do, from lounging by the pool with a cocktail in hand to joining in on fun water activities or just exploring the nearby area. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable.
All in all, The Cove delivered one of the best vacations we’ve ever had. The combination of the stunning setting, exceptional service, incredible food, and the most relaxing spa experience imaginable made this trip truly special. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our next visit.
If you’re considering booking a stay — especially the all-inclusive package — do it! You won’t regret it. It’s the perfect destination for couples, friends, or anyone who just wants to escape and be completely taken care of.

If I could, I would rate it a 6 on a scale of 1-5. This desert experience and hotel is one of a kind. The staff at this hotel are all first rate. I could not have asked for more luxury and attention to detail. We were always greeted with a friendly kindness and enthusiasm from every single person at the resort. Unfortunately, I cannot recall all the names, but in particular, Pablo who drove us for our many buggy rides, was so polite and kind; Thu at breakfast, went the extra mile thinking of foods that would tempt our palates, after observing what we would select to eat each day; Mike at the adventure center was genuinely so engaged and enthusiastic to explain the birds of prey. My son has a nut allergy, and despite there being visible labels of all of the food with allergens listed, he consumed an item that had nuts. It was 100% our own fault for not noticing, yet every person at both the farmhouse restaurant and at kaheela, made note of his allergies and came to check on him. Yuliya (sp?) was keen to check and double check all the food he consumed, and Amr was extremely gracious as well. The property itself is a bit of paradise in the middle of nowhere, the villas expertly designed, large and spacious, and inviting. The personal pool with the villa is large, and this, we never made it over to the resort pool. There hotel is set on a private animal sanctuary, so there are camels, gazelles, and oryx freely roaming the property. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for luxury and a respite tucked away in the quiet of the desert.

We have stayed here on numerous occasions and so a little late at doing a review (rather late than never). Always an incredible stay. From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave, our stays have always been an incredible experience. Exceptionally friendly staff (which ever division they work for) who are always willing to support and go that extra mile to ensure your stay is a memorable and simply easy one! Breakfast buffets are exquisite and there are numerous options for lunch and dinner. Enjoy long walks through the little resort, falcon shows, see the owls and a visit to the horses. Rooms are incredible and of course, the best for last, your own private overflow pool overlooking the animals grazing an arms reach away. A fantastic stay indeed and we can’t wait to go back (soon). Treat the family to an exquisite few days away - trust me :)

Amazing stay at the Al Wadi Desert Villa. The private pool and desert view were next level. Highly recommend waking up early and taking the hotel buggy to the highest point — the sunrise over the desert is unreal.
Food was great at both dinner and breakfast. And the best part? At night, we actually saw camels wandering around the hotel grounds. Super cool and something you don’t get to see every day.
Fantastic resort, great hospitality, and a truly unforgettable desert experience. Highly recommended.

From the staff courtesy to the grandeur of the Sahari Villa loved every bit of it.
My kid loved it so much I had to drag him back to home from the resort . Piya the check in staff and Amr the buggy operator really tried to make it more special for us , the breakfast was tasty and full options, kids club was full of activities we actually spent quite a lot of time there as there are places adults can sit and rest as well inside while the little ones are occupied, the horses and camel at the equestrian club were health and the experience didn't feel rushed at all rather I had to ask them let's end it as I got tired 😅
Didn't get a chance to explore their general pool as our in villa pool was so perfect. And a must mention to the room service staff and Ritz Carlton brand's signature hospitality from hygiene to making sure we had each and every small things we could require available to us was a heart winner. Looking forward to staying once more. ❤️

I had such a wonderful experience at The Ritz-Carlton. I celebrated my husband’s birthday there, and they surprised and delighted us even more by bringing a cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which happened to be on the same day. Their service was excellent, very fast, and the place offered great privacy. The staff were always helpful, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Breakfast was also very nice.
The pool was very clean, and the housekeeping service was excellent as well. We had our baby with us, and everything was made so easy and comfortable—we didn’t face any difficulties at all.
I would especially like to thank Sufian and Sandeep for his outstanding service.

I stayed for two nights and was honestly surprised by how outdated the hotel feels.
The furniture, colors, and overall design need serious renovation — especially the dark blue curtains in the room, which made the space feel smaller and gloomy.
The in-room dining setup was also disappointing — the trays and utensils were old, and some trays were even cracked.
The minibar fridge was not clean, and there was a bad smell in the bathroom.
I requested to check the minibar because it wasn’t cooling properly. They brought me another fridge, but to my shock, it was dented and had rust inside.
I also booked the highest room category (Ocean View Villa) and paid nearly AED 9,000 for two nights, expecting a luxurious and relaxing experience. However, to actually see the ocean, I had to walk outside the villa and turn right — definitely not what I expected for an “ocean view.”
When making the reservation, I mentioned it was my wedding anniversary, and the staff said they would prepare a complimentary setup (flowers and cake). I even texted them on WhatsApp before arriving to confirm, but when I arrived, nothing was prepared.
Overall, it was a disappointing experience that didn’t meet the Ritz-Carlton standards, especially considering the high price and expectations for a premium category stay.

We stayed at The Ritz-Carlton, Ras Al Khaimah this September and had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — the atmosphere, the service, and especially the people. Everyone we met was exceptionally kind, polite, and genuinely caring.
I have never encountered such warm and professional staff anywhere else. From the management team to every employee we interacted with, each person made us feel truly welcome and valued.
A special thank you to Angelica, who served us every day with a beautiful smile and a heart of gold. We also want to mention Su, Jiyas, Saed, Arun, Deepu, Sailesh, and many others who contributed to making our stay so enjoyable.
We can’t forget Sufian, who drove us with the buggy to the restaurant and our room every day — always on time, cheerful, and friendly. His positive energy made our days even brighter.

The hotel staff were outstanding, particularly Sufian, who welcomed and took us to breakfast each morning. The Breakfast offered a good selection with plenty of options to choose from.
The housekeeping team were efficient and attentive, ensuring everything was always in perfect order.
The gym facilities could benefit from some improvement and the room was advertised with a Smart TV but screen mirroring, smart features and apps did not work.
