I visited the Intercontinental Doha Beach and Spa for two consecutive days last week with my friends. It was an amazing experience—a neat and quiet place for leisure and enjoyment. The lobby is the main attraction, adorned with fresh flowers, beautiful antique collections, and paintings. The Bay Club offers superb leisure facilities, including a fantastic pool and beach area. Towels and water are always available at your fingertips, and everything is well-organized and efficiently managed.*
*Mykonos lunch was delightful, complemented by stunning beach views. The hotel’s location is perfect. A special thanks to Mr. Gracious for the warm welcome and informative briefing about the hotel. The Intercontinental Doha Beach hotel truly shines, and a large part of that is down to its exceptional staff. From the moment we arrived, Karim at reception made us feel incredibly welcome – his service was top-notch.
This high standard continued throughout our stay, with every single member of staff we encountered offering a genuine smile and a warm greeting. Erik, who looked after us during breakfast, was particularly outstanding.
As a family, we had a specific need to keep our ice packs frozen, and the room service team were absolutely fantastic in assisting us with this daily and without any delay. This level of attentiveness and willingness to help made a real difference to our stay. We also had the pleasure of interacting with Oumayma in the lounge club, whose service was also excellent.
The hotel boasts fantastic facilities. The swimming pool is a real highlight – it's impressively large and thoughtfully designed with different levels, making it perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. The beach area is equally appealing, beautifully clean and well-maintained.
Finally, the breakfast experience was superb. The sheer variety of options available was endless, ensuring there was something to please everyone. Even the small details were noted, such as the high-quality shaving kit provided in the room. Overall, our family stay at the Intercontinental Doha Beach was a truly positive and memorable experience, largely thanks to the wonderful staff and excellent amenities.

We had a fantastic experience thanks to the incredible service provided by Rashed, the housekeeper, and Agnes in the lounge. Rashed was consistently attentive, warm, and meticulous—our room was always spotless and welcoming. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
Agnes in the lounge was equally impressive. Her hospitality and friendly demeanor made every visit a pleasure. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and made us feel right at home. Both Rashes and Agnes truly elevated our stay and are a credit to the team. Thank you for making our time so enjoyable!

Whether it was a perfectly brewed coffee in the morning or thoughtful assistance with any request, they went above and beyond to make my experience truly special.

A Luxurious Stay at Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel
Our stay at Sharq Village & Spa was simply outstanding. From the beautiful setting to the exceptional service, everything was perfect.
Location
The hotel is ideally located by the sea, offering a stunning view of Doha’s skyline. The airport is just a short drive away, which is convenient, though some airplane and helicopter noise can be heard. However, this did not bother us. The private beach is well-maintained and features a netted swimming area for added comfort.
Hotel Grounds & Pools
The resort’s lush greenery and elegant water features create a truly serene atmosphere. The landscaping is breathtaking, making every corner of the property a pleasure to explore. The pools are spectacular, with designated areas for children and toddlers and pleasantly warm water for ultimate relaxation.
Dining
We had half board, and the food was excellent. The breakfast buffet had everything one could wish for, with high-quality ingredients and a wide selection. A highlight was the Ramadan tent for dinner, where we enjoyed a festive atmosphere, live music, and a beautifully decorated setting. The variety and quality of the buffet were outstanding.
Perfect for Families
The hotel is very family-friendly, featuring a kids’ club with a playroom and a great playground near the pool. During Ramadan, a dedicated children’s area in the tent added to the special experience. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming to families, making it a wonderful place to stay with children.
Exceptional Service
The staff is truly outstanding – warm, professional, and highly attentive. The high level of service ensures that guests feel welcomed and well cared for throughout their stay. Every team member works tirelessly to create an exceptional guest experience.
Rooms & Spa
The rooms are beautifully designed, featuring luxurious interiors and stunning bathrooms. Everything is immaculately clean, with excellent housekeeping and thoughtful turn-down service. The spa is a haven of relaxation, offering top-notch treatments in a peaceful setting. My massage was simply perfect.

The staff are so welcoming and I would like to give a special thanks to Sheikh, who consistently provides everyone top-notch service and ensures we always have everything that we need.
The lunch by the poolside is absolutely delicious, with a wide range of tasty options. My favourite is the grilled salmon salad – it’s a must-try! Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a relaxing and luxurious weekend retreat!

Unfortunately, the service isn't comparable to other Ritz Carltons I know, and you have to get up early to get a lounger. Breakfast is the same every day... The hotel facility is big but clear. The pools are warm and big. So all in all
I give four stars. Furthermore, the employees are unfortunately venal like everywhere else!

We had an amazing time at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic pool and beautiful beach—both were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun.
The hotel itself feels like a palace, with stunning architecture and spacious, clean rooms. We were especially impressed by the gym, which was much larger and better equipped than most hotel gyms we’ve seen.
We visited during Ramadan, and while the hotel was quieter than usual, we didn’t experience any restrictions at all. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh and delicious options. Since we had an early flight, the staff even arranged to bring breakfast to our room before we left—a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would love to come back. Highly recommended!

Really good hotel, clean and big rooms and air conditioned. Very luxurious hotel, worth the money. Would definitely recommend and go back. Staff are helpful and always welcoming. Breakfast and food was good quality and tasty, though service at breakfast was a bit slow at times. It’s also close to the pearl and you can either walk or take a taxi, nice place there and lots of food options too. Used taxi for all my transport, its cheap and efficient and quick.

We’re currently staying at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha and it’s been nothing short of magical! The rooms are beautiful, the service is top-tier, and the staff are some of the kindest and most engaging people we’ve met. They genuinely love hearing where you’re from—and we’ve loved hearing their stories too!
Dinner at the international buffet was a highlight. My daughter Mira adored the vegetable korma, and when she passed on her compliments, Chef Elif came out personally to meet her! Such a heartwarming moment that made our night. Huge thank you also to Chef Hsu Lae for the amazing dishes that had us going back for seconds (and thirds!).
Special thanks to Allen, the guest relationship expert, who went above and beyond to help us organize something special for Mira’s belated birthday. Her kindness and attention made her feel truly celebrated.

I got the sea view room which was very good, the view at night with nearby towers lighting made it even more amazing. The staff was down to earth helpful and nice to talk to. They accommodated a last minute celebration and made the stay even more enjoyable. Thanks for the front dest and the call center for such wonderful stay. The only thing I missed to check was the beach because pf the windy time I was there, unfortunately.

Honestly, I have had such an amazing time at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and big. Service is impeccable and in line with the Ritz brand. Breakfast was great and Wafae took absolute care of me (her and her team are exceptional) and she really took the time out to chat and give me suggestions of where to go and what to do. I really appreciated that. The beach area is nice and accessible with a Ritz golf cart. The pool and hotel amenities are super nice too. Loved this hotel and I will be back!

We had an amazing time at The Ritz-Carlton Doha as a family. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and truly luxurious – but what made our stay so special was the friendly and caring staff.
A huge thank you to Mr. Isa, the Outlets Manager, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. He always greeted us with a big smile and made sure we and our kids felt completely comfortable and happy. It was clear that he truly cares about the guests.
The restaurants were delicious and had options even our children enjoyed. The pool area and beach was perfect for relaxing, and the staff was always helpful and patient with our little ones.
We felt very welcome and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. If you’re traveling with kids and want a luxury experience with heart – this is the place to be.
We will definitely come back! Thank you to the whole team – and especially to Isa for making us feel so at home.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton in Doha, and overall, it was an exquisite experience. The hotel is beautiful, with stunning architecture and elegant interiors that create a luxurious atmosphere. One of the highlights of my stay was the lovely pool area, which offered a serene escape from the bustle of the city. Additionally, the private beach provided a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the warm weather. We also enjoyed the tea time which they prepared special for us since we are vegetarian.
The staff at The Ritz were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout our visit. Their hospitality truly enhanced our experience and added to the overall charm of the hotel.
However, I did have a couple of concerns regarding the security checks upon arrival. While I understand that Qatar has strict regulations, my experience was somewhat off-putting. They checked our bags thoroughly, which is expected, but they ended up taking our souvenir candles, claiming they were a fire risk, even though we had no intention of lighting them. They also asked us to open our suitcase to inspect a bottle of coconut oil we had packed, which felt like an invasion of privacy.
While I respect the need for safety and security, I don't quite understand why the candles were considered an issue, especially when alcohol restrictions are more understandable. This incident slightly marred an otherwise wonderful stay, but I hope future guests will find the policies a bit more lenient.
In conclusion, The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, is a beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities and outstanding service, but the stringent security measures could use some reconsideration for an even more pleasant experience.

She’s not only professional, but also a very pleasant and kind person who genuinely cares about how guests feel.
Every morning, seeing her smile and hearing her friendly “good morning” made the start of my day better. She was always attentive, remembered little details, and made sure everything was just right. It’s clear she loves what she does, and it shows.

A big thank you as well to the housekeeping team. Sakil and Naieem were absolutely amazing — they cleaned our room perfectly every day and always paid attention to every little detail. Absolutely fantastic few days at this hotel. The staff are superb, very friendly and accommodating. Food was delish. The pools are great and the coffee is excellent.
Hakeem by the pool is very attentive, checked on us many times, made sure we had fresh water and we were happy 😃
Also the coffee shop in the lobby, Crust, serves great coffees as well.
The GYM is one of the best hotel gyms I’ve ever been to, a total joy to work out there.
Not to mention, the hotel is literally 10 mins from the airport.
Great for families with kids, lots of kids entertainment options too.

Excellent hotel and facilities perfect for family. The hotel provides wonderful experience for people from all ages. Our kid is so happy with the kids club, full on entertainment and also it’s amazing waterpark! As a parents we are also pampered with its quite beach and top notch spa. The staff are so friendly, from the front desk up to the in room service. We were assisted by Riya, Shamira, Hazel, Abdul and many more that made our stay just feel like home.

We stayed for one night yesterday at Hotel Salwa Resort, and I must say it was an excellent experience—truly great value for money. The service was top-notch from the moment we arrived.
At dinner in Souk Kitchen, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table by a lovely lady named Vine Betty, which set a great tone for the evening. What truly stood out was the service we received from Babu. He was incredibly hardworking, attentive, and fast—making sure we had everything we needed without even having to ask twice. His timing and service were flawless, and he came across as not just efficient but also very honest and genuine.

I stayed at Rixos Premium Qetaifan and overall had a great experience. The hotel is well-organized and very family-friendly. One of the highlights is the beautiful waterpark attached to the property, which is perfect for both kids and adults. There are also three nice swimming pools on-site. However, the beach is not directly connected to the hotel, and unfortunately, the water there wasn’t very clean.

This was our second time staying here at the hotel. We previously stayed in October and again had a wonderful time with our two older teenage children. Great access to the water park and on site facilities. Super restaurants on site meant we were all happy. The teenagers made full use of the buffet whilst we could enjoy an evening meal in one of the other restaurants.
We spent the days between the water park and the pool and noticed small changes since last time. Such as being able to get drinks and food in the water park from some of their restaurants which meant we didn’t need to come back. Great addition. Well done. Also the staff at the hotel pool bars were amazing bringing drinks and fruit round made us feel so special.
Staff on reception made us feel wonderful too. A great stay and we will definitely come back.
