Everything considering the Hotel facilities are fantastic! The staff and the service, 10 out of 10. The breakfast was amazing. Just one thing should be better, the restaurant type options! Few restaurants, lack of options like 'À la carte' (just one). Paying 11 Omani Rials per child who eats 3 spoonfuls is more than acceptable.

The professional and Welcoming staff made the hotel one of our favorite family gateway destination. Although it was very crowded, the valet staff were very efficient and made the arrival and check in process smooth. Special thanks to Mr Osama, from front desk for his kindness and professionalism in facilitating guests requests, I extend my thanks to Ms Dan from front desk for the great hospitality and support to fulfill our needs, she truly appreciate valued guests and I wish her all the best. I don’t forget the wonderful concierge team who are always fast and greet us with a big smile. Regarding the hotel facility the pool is clean as usual and the beach with the surrounding are great. The breakfast was well handled and the food was delicious.

I recommend more option for dining. Buffet food had limited chicken option . Ala cart menu need improvement or Samba Restaurant. Starter , main course was too basic for such 5star hotel and overpriced for such basic meal. I would love more variety in chicken or Arabic cruise. Others wise It was perfect lovely stay . Beautiful surprise devote in room with chocolate cake just awesome. Definitely recommend friends to visit .

It was one of the best resort I have ever stayed in the pool Activities was amazing water sport activities was available. Everything was just perfect about Faith for breakfast and dinner was more than delicious. I recently stayed at the Kempinski Hotel Muscat, and it was a truly remarkable experience. The hotel is luxurious, with stunning sea views, top-notch amenities, and beautifully designed rooms. A highlight of my stay was the exceptional service at the Zale Beach Lounge, thanks to Cameron. His warm hospitality and excellent recommendations made dining a delight. The ambiance, especially during sunset, was simply breathtaking. Kempinski Muscat exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend it. Special thanks to Cameron for making my stay unforgettable.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Kempinski. The employees are so incredibly helpful, kind and courteous. I think that they must have made a huge investment in the customer experience training as well as recruiting wonderful people as the levels of service and hospitality were exceptional across the board. We were incredibly grateful for our complimentary upgrade (this doesn't happen so frequently in ME hotels these days), plus flexibility with check in/ out times. The views, the beach location, the proximity to the port for scuba and snorkelling trips were excellent. Breakfast and dinner was excellent and the chefs and waiting staff went the extra mile to give us exactly what we wanted. Also loved the detail of being able to get the exact pillows we wanted. it really feels like they have thought of every detail. Nespresso machine great, and wonderful smelling toiletries (I liked the the fact that these aren't disposable also). I can't speak highly enough for this place. just loved it! Thank you for a wonderful weekend and we WILL be back!

A really wonderful location. First impression brilliant. The local men that are at the reception to check you in are smart, charming, professional and super helpful. Our room had super easy access to the pool and beach which was ideal with three young children. The lifeguard was a wonderful man who searched for my missing gold earring with a snorkel and found it! The rooms are lovely and spacious and very new. The only reason I have given a 4* is because we felt the breakfast could have been better. It doesn't quite live up to the 5* standard of selection and service (only referring to the breakfast service) that we would expect in the GCC region which is usually second to none. The only other thing I think is worth a mention is that there were very few children at the hotel pool which made me feel a bit awkward when mine were playing and making noise. I felt that the relaxing adults were put out. Perhaps as it was August it's wasn't their peak season? Otherwise it is a very kid friendly hotel!

The facilities were top-notch, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel was impressive. We spent a lot of time by the pool, where Said was incredibly helpful and friendly. He was always there with a smile, ready to assist with anything we needed, making our poolside experience even more enjoyable. My husband and I had a fantastic experience at the hotel. From the arrival staff to the hospitality team, housekeeping, pool attendants, lifeguards, and restaurant staff, everyone was welcoming, friendly, and extremely attentive. The amenities were superb and exceeded our expectations. The pool area was particularly delightful with an infinity pool Looking out to the Gulf sea. The chef at breakfast was accommodating, catering to our needs even when they weren't on the menu. The private beach was a bonus , it’s quiet and secluded, the beach help were extremely helpful- the hotel also offer a cool box at the beach was an added bonus we didn't expect. While the hotel is a bit far from the city, requiring preparation for taxi fares, there is a shuttle service to the souk and the mall. However, for other destinations, be prepared to pay for taxis. British travellers should note that the exchange rate is currently weak, making expenses higher. It's important to note that there are no prayer facilities on the premises. Muslim guests should plan where to pray their Jumma prayers. However, the addition of a small mosque in the future would make this hotel perfect. Overall, it's a hotel you won't regret staying at. It beautifully showcases its artistic heritage and Omani hospitality, making it a fantastic place to stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at The Chedi! It's a quite hotel with great scenery. The staff were lovely, enthusiastic and hugely attentive...most especially Mita, Scholar and Shady. Kumani is a brilliant domestic staff, so if you happen to meet her during your stay, then you're in luck! Taxis were a little expensive as well as exchanging cash at the hotel but otherwise, I've had a great stay and I will definitely be back soon. With love and loads of happiness, take care reader and stay at The Chedi.

Hands down this place is heaven on earth. The views, the rooms, the pools, and the beach it’s incredible. Not to mention but the service here was 10/10. Incredible place to stay if you are in Muscat. The price you pay is definitely worth it. Food was amazing as well. Spent hours in the pool. Fun fact - the longest pool in the entire middle east. Spent hours and hours in the pool.

Best hotel in muscat. The beach front restaurant has probably the best chef in the country. Everything on the menu is delicious and the staff is extremely friendly. They deserve a Michelin star! The only negative point is the pillows! Get better pillows please! And the first night nobody did a turn down service... Oversight but not really acceptable for a hotel of this class....

The Chedi day pass for the beach is one of the best things we did in Muscat. They make a beach day feel more like a spa stay. The service level is outstanding. You want for nothing at the beach or at the pool. Glasses of cold and refreshing lemon/lime water are brought to you immediately and refilled constantly throughout the day. Fluffy towels, bell service for food and beverage, all done to a very high standard. The staff are friendly and really go out of their way to anticipate your every need and deliver. Excellent experience and highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Luxurious, clean, stunning views, comfortable beds. The staff were amazing, we were there in the hottest of months and they made sure we were looked after, kept hydrated and have the best time. Pandiyan by the pool was so lovely and looked after us every time we used the pool. The food was delicious, breakfast was 5 star. Honestly can't wait to get back there

I spent two nights at this wonderful resort, everything was above expectations just wow everything the hotel rooms the view the breakfast the staff. I would like to thank Nelly who works in the Italian restaurant, she was very kind to us, helpful, she made my experience more than wonderful. Also I would like to thank Rami, who welcomed us from the beginning and took us on a tour of the resort. He was very kind The Italian restaurant staff is very nice. The view is EVERYTHING! You are on a mountain peak, and can enjoy the highpoint views from most spots in the hotel. It is profoundly quiet, which if you are looking to relax, and enjoy the sun with a cool breeze is just perfect. The drive up is slightly tiresome, and when you arrive (With your own car) you are expected to park it yourself, which I thought was a bit odd for a 5-Star hotel. (Hence the 4-Star rating for this review). Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this place when visiting Jabal Akhdar.

Experience was magical , i stayed in the villa with the mountain view it was sensational. What i did not like was the fact that the couches were not comfortable nor the pillows. In regards to the house keeping i noticed the bath robes were torn and we had to emphasize on cleaning spotless so we get things done perfectly. Otherwise the view , the pool and the villa were amazing. Another negative point is that the room coffee was really bad.
