We had a great time at the royal savoy. The room was really nice (we had a royal savoy junior king bed suite with a pool view) and spacious. Local Egyptian wine (quite good!) and beer along with soft drinks and breakfast plus canapés and happy hour at the lounge were included. The royal savoy (adults only) is next to the savoy (families) and I think the royal savoy is a bit more well appointed with a higher standard of service and facilities. Service at the private beach area that’s separated from the kids is really attentive like it was at all service areas from breakfast to bar. Beach has sand but when you get in the water it has coral (like rest of sharm el sheikh really) but there is a little jetty you can dive from. The hotel is also located next to Soho Square which also belongs to the savoy group (Soho square is unfortunately a bit ugly in my mind with A LOT of lights - TOO MANY!) but has good choice of restaurants and shops for you to spend time. Finally the hotel is about 25-30 minute drive from “old town sharm el sheikh” and it maybe a nice little evening for you to go there (but honestly don’t expect a really old town - it still looks pretty modern really). Overall highly recommend the Royal Savoy!

We have had 3 previous stays at the sister hotel The Savoy, but this time we decided to treat ourselves to a 10 night stay at the Royal Savoy (adult only) from 12th April. We were not disappointed the hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are all very attentive and attended to all our needs. The breakfast room and poolside bar offer exceptional quality of food and snacks. Fresh fruit and cakes placed in your room every day and Your very own cool box filled with ice is a nice touch for the beach loungers. We were so impressed we booked to come back in July and can't wait to return.

First time here at this hotel as disabled travellers,not a bad hotel but us in the process of renovation, although we found our stay enjoyable we wouldn't visit again food was good but repetitive as your standard all inclusive package. Pools were very cold . Visiting the beach is a very difficult process fir anyone with mobility issues as its on a rockface and very steep to get up and down with a lot of steps , there is a very small patch of sand of which you could not call a Beach . Out and about was enjoyable as you can walk around and not get harrassed by shopkeepers, Soho square is a short stroll from the Hotel and a lovely place for a wander, we even had a meal out at the Anerican diner and for £30 for two people including taxi from our hotel and a drink each was a bargain as the food was lovely, highly recommended a visit.

The coral reef is right at the beach shore. It’s admirable how they are able to preserve and care for the corals and sea life. If it wasn’t winter I would have gone snorkeling but the water was too cold for my taste. It was nice to sit on the dock and watch the fish though.🐠 I particularly liked the staff in this hotel. Breakfast is nice and healthy. The adults only is a plus as it makes your stay more quiet and peaceful.😌

We stayed at this hotel as a family of four. The property itself is stunning — beautifully maintained with immaculate gardens and heated pools that were perfect for relaxing. There was a great variety of food available, with plenty of options suitable for children, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, a few serious incidents overshadowed what could have been a wonderful holiday. On our first evening in one of the restaurants, my husband bit into a stone that had been left in the rice and, as a result, lost half a tooth. We were disappointed by the lack of acknowledgement and received no compensation for what was a very upsetting experience. While not all staff were unfriendly — our housekeeper, for example, was absolutely lovely — we generally found the service to be lacking warmth and professionalism. On one occasion, we ordered a lemonade for our son, and thankfully he noticed it tasted unusual. We quickly realised it contained alcohol. When we raised this with the bar staff member who prepared it, there was no apology or sense of accountability, and the response felt dismissive and rude. These incidents unfortunately put a real dampener on our stay. With better attention to detail and improved customer service training, this hotel could truly match the beauty of its surroundings. Sharm El Sheikh itself is a beautiful destination with gorgeous weather, but based on our experience, I’m not sure we would choose to return to this particular hotel.

Restaurant Amoura - Lebanese. Absolutely excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Vegan options. Meat from the outdoor grill was incredible. Like the entire hotel, the staff work incredibly hard and the service is great. 100% would return and recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Steigenberger Alcazar in Sharm El Sheikh and couldn’t be happier with our experience. The entertainment team was excellent – there were activities running throughout the day for both adults and kids, and the evening shows were fun and well organized. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the resort itself is beautifully maintained. We also really enjoyed the restaurants, which offered a great variety of tasty food and plenty of options for everyone. What really made the stay special was the staff – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The level of service throughout the hotel was excellent. Overall, it’s a wonderful resort for families and anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. We would definitely love to come back!

We are completely charmed by this place. So much so that while still being here, we already booked another stay in few months time. The team truly goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels looked after and happy. There is plenty of space around the pools, and I would honestly suggest not being discouraged by negative reviews saying there are no sunbeds at the adult pool- there are. Yes, sometimes people reserve some loungers, but despite that, there is still always space available. And if you simply ask a pool attendant, they will happily bring extra sunbeds and an umbrella for you and place where you like. The food is incredible. We had the opportunity to dine five times in different à la carte restaurants, and we also enjoy lunch in various à la carte venues daily. To be honest, we rarely use the buffet because the selection here is so wide, it’s impossible to try everything. Bottled water is delivered to our room every day, which is a lovely touch. Everything is very clean, both in the rooms and around the pools. The whole experience feels truly luxurious and well taken care of. A special thank you to Saied at La Maison restaurant - his service was absolutely outstanding.

Great service with all the facilities needed for a fantastic family holiday. The weather was lovely, and the coral reef at the end of the jetty was a real highlight. Overall, the experience was acceptable, but it fell short of expectations given the high price point. The cost is significantly inflated relative to the value provided. While the variety and quantity of food are undeniably extensive, the quality is generally average at best, with only occasional standout items. This creates a noticeable gap between expectation and reality. Cleanliness is adequate to a certain degree; however, there are several observations that indicate room for improvement. With more attention to detail, the overall standard could be elevated considerably. The property itself is exceptionally large, which, while impressive, makes mobility quite exhausting. Moving around often requires waiting for golf carts, which can be inconvenient and time-consuming. As for the staff, many are polite and cooperative, which is appreciated. However, a noticeable number lack the refinement and professionalism expected in a luxury hospitality setting. It would be highly beneficial for the management to invest in more advanced and structured training programs focused on high-end guest service. In summary, the stay was reasonably good, but given the premium pricing, a significantly higher level of quality and service should be expected.

Loved our Villa, the service and hospitality too! We could hang out in the beach and staff us quick to help you get set up and comfortable with loungers, towels, and umbrellas. We enjoyed drinks and snacks all day. Plenty of food options snd activities. We had a great massage and steam sauna at the spa. The staff here are the best!!!

I normally stay at the fabulous Serry Beach Resort in Hurghada, decided to experience something new so I choose Rixos Mega Wish in Hurghada and l loved it. They upgraded me to a larger room the food was never ending and delicious the drinks were on point. The property is so large you can easily find a quiet child free spot by the pool. The staff is friendly and helpful, my only criticism is all the cakes look absolutely beautiful but have no taste. Stick to the local dessert they are wonderful and tasty. I WILL RETURN

We had a wonderful stay at Rixos Premium Magawish Suites & Villas. The entire resort offers outstanding service, beautiful facilities, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The sea is absolutely stunning, crystal clear and perfect for enjoying peaceful moments by the shore. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, and it was simply perfect. It was very comfortable, especially with children, offering both privacy and space to relax. It was also more sheltered on windy days, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Every morning at breakfast, we were assisted by Rezzak and Azza, and we couldn’t have been happier with their service. They were always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind, making our Turkish breakfast even more enjoyable. Both of them showed the same level of professionalism and warmth, always making sure everything was perfect and that we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Thank you for the excellent service and for making our experience so memorable.

Loved the hotel so much really nice amazing animation team was super . Food was good I was worried about reviews about food and drinks but they was good had grill options pizza normal offers for a 5 star hotel . You get what you pay for breakfast options are amazing huge option . Juices are free included only extra is the fresh juice which is a company not the hotels juice . So it’s all good . Rooms we had a villa room was not outdated I loved it was amazing and spacious . We also arrived earlier and was allowed to check in at 10 am which I found amazing . Perfect hotel . Pools amazing beach is good . Only fault I had to say is guest relation caused me issues . Before booking my trip I expained im British and my situation and was told something completely different to what happened and was charged extra when arrived and was told it has nothing to do with guest relation but I said no it’s their job to inform guests of all info and check in policy as I work in guest relation so I know what is needed and she did not help at all if she informed me instead I would’ve. Come prepared instead a huge hassle occurred instead jasmine guest relation appalling instead of helping caused issues the only issue on the hotel was this The receptions waet helped me in the situation and was good staff amazing animation perfect hotel lovely would definitely come again

Definately not a 5 star hotel. Terrible experience here. On arrival we were left to wait in the lobby for over two hours without no drink or food offered to us. Ahmed at reception is rude and abrupt and does not care for guests. Most the staff at this resort are rude and angry. If they’re not getting tipped they treat you with disrespect. Ruined our Egypt experience for me and my two boys who very excited to go. Also there were 8 of us who went and about 5 of us suffered with a bad belly lasting around two weeks. Rooms are very old fashioned didn’t even have a head board to my bed. Drinks at the hotel were the worst I ever had. Overall this has got to be the worst hotel I have been to in the last 7 years of travelling.

The hotel surprised me with its food, which was quite good for a budget five-star hotel. They also have organic coffee and plenty of swimming pools. The hotel is on the second beach, so a shuttle bus runs every 15 minutes to the hotel's private beach. I was pleased with the hotel management's friendly attitude toward its guests, who don't cut off bracelets for guests with late check-outs. Overall, the hotel made a very good impression.

I think a lot of the reviews are unfair. This place is not expensive and you get what you pay for. The rooms need upgrading yes, but everywhere is very clean, the food is good and varied every day, always pasta, potatoes, salad etc if you are a fussy eater. The staff have all been fantastic except the guy who showed us our rooms. Reception is good, quick to check in, helpful, provide a really good packed lunch if you need one. The staff do not insist on tips but are grateful if you do tip. Local alcohol is not amazing, but the price of the holiday is low so I do not think you can complain, and you can pay extra for branded if you like. There are bars you have to pay extra to get into, but most you don't. Be careful booking tours within the hotel, we had a mixed experience, one (orange bay) was wonderful, the other (the pyramids) was the worst trip ever. My advice would be, if you want to see the pyramids, either fly or take a private tour. I think if you want a good hotel that is clean and has a nice pool area, you cannot go wrong here. If you expect a kings holiday, for a cheap price, expect to be disappointed. We certainly were not.

I came with my wife and child who are british im egyptian my wife booked from the uk and before she booked she contacted guest relation about this and asked her about check in and our detials and if anything is needed and was told nothing but when we arrived i was charged GBP 60 extra just cause im egyptian HOW DOES THAT MAKE sense we booked a family holiday why extra in the uk sites its more expensive so we are paying more then standard and still charged ??? How ! When i told the reception man and told him we contacted the guest relation about this and she gave us nothing. He told me this is not the guest relation job?? How come ! She should be the guide for the people under the name of the hotel and give all info before they arrive. The Animation team was good we liked the Egyptian girl and guy with curly hair but the rest of the boys they didn't talk to us. Moka is making a great job there with his team. Amazing Fakir show super 🤍 The hotel was good , food and room was perfect we like it.

The hotel its self is lovely, the staff are fantastic and very helpful. The food in the buffet restaurants have plenty of choice, we weren't a massive fan of the chinese restaurant, you will get approached a lot poolside to book camel rides, massages, boat trips etc but just ask for a red flag to put on your post and they won't bother you. You have to pay extra for the juice bar or fancy cocktails or nicer coffees which I didn't like as its a all inclusive resort. All in all its a great place with great staff especially the entertainment team

Kamal part of the lifeguard crew in the Jasmine Palace Hotel is absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived he made us feel so welcome. He is friendly, kind, funny, attentive and always smiling. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him and he truly goes above and beyond for all the guests. He works so hard every single day and always makes everyone feel safe and looked after around the pool areas. His amazing positive energy and sense of humour made our holiday even more special. I recently stayed at Jasmine Palace Resort in Hurghada and unfortunately my experience did not meet my expectations. The staff should be friendlier and more professional. While some employees were polite and helpful, others came across as rude and could benefit from better customer service training. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. For an all-inclusive resort, the choices were very limited. The buffet offerings were extremely poor. At the main pool buffet, it was often just fries and low-quality chicken nuggets every day. The beach buffet usually offered some grilled meat, fries, and hot dogs, with very little variety. Another major issue was the organisation of the buffets. Although they are scheduled to open at 12:30 pm, that is often when the cooking actually starts. This results in long queues while guests wait for a few pieces of meat to be prepared. After finally getting the meat, you then have to join another queue for fries, meaning your food is cold by the time you sit down. Portions were also very limited. I am completely against food waste and do not expect unlimited amounts, but if you ask for a little extra or are collecting food for family members instead of having everyone stand in the queue, staff often give strange looks or make comments. Overall, the resort felt more like "limited inclusive" rather than all-inclusive. The information and opening times shown on the room leaflet were not updated and often inaccurate, which caused confusion. Room cleaning could also be improved. The beds were made regularly, but the floors were often left dirty and did not appear to be wiped or cleaned during our stay. Overall, I was disappointed with the service, food quality, and organisation. Unfortunately, I would not return to this resort and would not recommend it to others looking for a true all-inclusive experience.
