The hotel is starting to show its age. The rooms are a bit dated.
But the facilities are amazing.
I had to take care of my toddler while wife was at a conference.
Over 5 days and 4 nights, I had the best time. So many activities to do with the little one.
Never needed to leave the resort.
Do you know what's better?
Their service.
Everyone at this resort is trained so well!
Friendly, helpful, and never dismissive.
Forgot something? No worries, the staff will go out of the way to get it for you.
I loved this resort. Worth every cent.
Thank you to the wonderful team! Shout out to Ms. Gayle, manager at front desk.

This hotel is super duper kid friendly. Got an upgrade and got the family room where the kids got bunk beds, a tv and a little table and bench. The toilet is amazing with stool and kid friendly toiletries as well. It was my son's birthday, they gave a cake as well. Overall the room is nice and spacious although a little bit dusty. But love love the breakfast spread and the facilities. Come and experience it yourself!

For the fabulous price we were not expecting it to be so mediocre. Our room, admittedly, was on the lower price range but a car park view wasn’t great. Breakfast was a busy scrum but food was delicious and a wide selection. Our experience at one of the restaurants was terrible and after free drinks the whole bill was voided when the food came out wrong and cold. Our children loved the activities and we were grateful for them being thoroughly entertained. On the whole our three days were just ok.

Beautiful resort on Tanjung Aru. Really nice resort style. Rooms may be a bit dated but comfortable. We stayed in the sea facing suite and it was impeccable. Front desk is responsive and resolves issues quickly and efficiently. Really thumbs up - one of the best service I have ever gotten. Ground facilities are plentiful and well updated and maintained. The charm of the place is in its people - staff are all well motivated and helpful. Really pleasant stay overall. Not to miss is the sunset view - no wonder people flock here just for it.

I stayed at this hotel from March 1st to March 6th. Initially, I was given a very old room with outdated cabinets, dirty carpets, and an unstocked minibar. When I requested a change to one of the renovated rooms, they accommodated my request—for an additional fee. The new room was much nicer and had a better view. However, the AC was not very effective, and I had to request a fan.
Overall, my experience was okay, but it didn’t quite live up to the Shangri-La standard I expected. That said, Mathew at reception was very helpful and welcoming, doing his best to make my stay smoother. The hotel boasts amazing views and a stunning sunset.
