We just came back from a 5-day holiday at the Grand Mirage — such a great family resort! The all-inclusive package was the best choice. Enjoying delicious food and cocktails by the pool, along with plenty of activities for both adults and children, made for a relaxing and memorable experience. I must also mention the outstanding service and instant support we received from the friendly and respectful staff. Highly recommended!

fantastic 1 week stay.
We were greeted with a bell boy on our check in day, helped with our luggages and reception at check-in was also easy breezy!
Bracelet were given as we had an all inclusive package. Had booked a connecting room, and it was very spacious! The view from our balcony unfortunately does not over look the ocean but the lazy river pool, which was not too bad (noise wasnt too bad).
Our favourite spot during our stay is the grand cafe, over looking the kids pool, super convenient for hungry parents and excited child!
Daily dinner performances was also very entertaining, our favourite was the Balinese night, with fire dance.
Also our fav was their dessert station during dinner, fantastic!
Plus point staying at this hotel, we were also able to use the pool at the family paradise and the kids club.
Service from - the restaurants to room service to house keeping was fantastic!
Highly recommend this hotel , we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time. Very glad we went all inclusive. Services and facilities were great. The Lazy River recent addition is a fantastic way to waste a couple of great hours. All resort staff very friendly and helpful, the house keeping was a bit hit/miss with remembering to replenish. Some smells from the bathroom/toilet but nothing unmanageable at all. Highly recommend for young families like ours, great value for money.

We stayed here in March for 2 weeks and we were thrilled when we got an upgrade. Everything about this hotel is brilliant. Our room was lovely the staff are so at-tentative nothing was too much trouble. The food was brilliant great choice and variety. We loved it so much our niece and her family are coming on Saturday. We had the absolutely best time ever.
Our deluxe pool villa was beautiful.
We ate every restaurant , drank at every bar and also attended a theme night and all were fantastic.
The breakfast buffet was next level.
The location and views are awesome.
If it was possible for 10 stars, then that Is what I would have given service. The staff were amazing, every single one of them. Everybody greeted us so beautifully, they are so gracious and accommodating.
We will definitely come back here when we come to Bali again.

Stayed here in September 2025 with my sister. I will definitely be back. Loved the large resort campus. Massive breakfast area with fantastic breakfast options, often 3 egg stations open which is amazing. Two large pools, one adults only which we loved. The location is so perfect and so much is within walking distance. Large room sizes with plenty of bench space to keep bags off the ground. Staff are so friendly and really enhance the overall experience. Very pleased.

The hotel's design and rooms and gardens are absolutely amazing and beautiful, creating a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. Every meal from breakfast to lunch and finally to dinner, was a delightful experience with an incredible variety of delicious options!!! The pricing was also brilliant, and it offered great value for such a high-quality experience! Great pools too as there’s a family one and an adult only one. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and can't wait to return again!!!

What a wonderful stay. Their slogan of a home away from home is spot on. The staff namely Dayu, Indra, Oman and Salsa have been absolutely awesome. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Kuta. The resort itself is close to everything you could ever want and if you are traveling with children this is Definitely where you want to be. There are daily activities for the children as well as two wonderful pools that both have detached mini shallow pools.

We have just returned home from our week family holiday at The Legian Beach Hotel and we are a family of 5. We had the best time from checking in and our welcome drinks to checking out at the end of our stay this place was incredible! The grounds are beautiful and everything is kept very clean. The pools are great! We stayed in a Deluxe Family room for the 5 of us and the room was incredible! My birthday was while we were there and they even came and sang to me at breakfast and I got a birthday cupcake😊. Everyone is very happy and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It was our first time bringing our 3 girls to Bali and they absolutely loved it! The buffet breakfast is truly amazing!! We booked directly through the hotel and got a complimentary sunset High Tea from 3-6 and access to the VIP Lounge for one time and it was beautiful!💕
Thank you Legian Beach Hotel for making my kids first time in Bali so memorable and fun!
We will definitely return to Bali and there is no where else we will stay but with you😍. We will see you again!

With an entrance off a typical busy Bali road this opens into an oasis of calm with perfect gardens, clean and comfortable rooms, access directly to the beach and a good restaurant. There are some building works at the moment but these are discreet behind screens and with minimal noise. There's a main pool with plenty of sun beds and two further more private pools in the rooms courtyards. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful. The hotel opens onto the boardwalk which gives access to traffic free walk to more restaurants.

If you’re looking for a resort actually at the beach in Sanur, this is as good of a hotel as any. The rooms are nice and spacious and the team is very friendly. This hotel actually has beach loungers at the beach, unlike several other hotels along the Sanur beach.
The beach itself is best earlier in the day when the tide is high. You don’t need water shoes but I’d recommend them if you want to walk along the sea grass at low tide.
The boardwalk is always very active and great for a morning stroll. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby
The hotel could improve on service at the beach as people coming to see if you wanted anything was quite sporadic. Also the breakfast buffet is a bit sad. The egg station never disappointed but the coffee is rough and very limited offerings across the board.

Fantastic rooms close to front pool, gym, walking track and restaurant. Pool is perfect temp if you don't like it cold. Lots of English and Aussies who loved a chat. Great kids shallow pool at front near the beach. Swim up bar too. Very friendly staff. Close to many restaurants and market stalls also Icon, the new shopping centre.

I have to say the Griya Santrian in Sanur is really lovely, in a great location and have stayed several times. They are currently upgrading but does not affect anything. The negatives for me are that after arriving yesterday from another lovely 4/5 star hotel on beachfront Legian, I was not impressed firstly that they said I had to pay as I go, no room charge so not sure what’s changed. More importantly to me is how the Griya is still charging extra for barista coffee. Either you’re a class hotel or you’re lower level and have to charge your guests extra for what should be included in your breakfast. The cost was $6.60 aud for small cup. Definitely needs to be addressed.

Beautiful and calm Hotel in Sanur at the beach with beautiful garden and 3 pools. The hotel ist an older one but well maintained. The rooms are arranged on garden an pools. Clean and comfortable with enough space. Food is exzellent and the beach front restaurant offers a great view.
Staff is very gentle helpful and has always a smile for you.

We stayed at Bali Tropic Resort & Spa for 9 nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality. Every morning, we looked forward to the breakfast buffet—not just for the food, but for the lovely ambiance and the genuinely friendly staff who greeted us with smiles and were always ready to assist with anything we needed.
The rooms, while slightly outdated in terms of decor, were kept very clean and were serviced almost daily, which made our stay comfortable. The pool is on the smaller side, but it was still a great spot to relax and swim—it served its purpose perfectly.
One of the highlights of the resort is the beautifully maintained grounds. The lush greenery and traditional Balinese design create a peaceful, tropical atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. Another bonus is the convenience store located just across the street—super handy for grabbing essentials or snacks without having to go far.
Overall, Bali Tropic Resort & Spa gave us a memorable stay, and we’d happily return for another relaxing holiday in Nusa Dua.

I stayed here for 2 nights as a solo traveller. Was actually positively surprised by how beautiful this resort was, better than the photos which is unusual. The surroundings were amazing, beautiful low buildings and a lot lush greenery.
Pool and beach area were really nice too. The only downside was (as everywhere) that hotel guests can’t behave and ”book” the sun beds early in the morning and then don’t show until later. I think the hotel could be a little more strict about that.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it as a good option for accommodation at Nusa Dua for people who are looking for a relaxed and chilled getaway.
Positives - loved the traditional design of the resort, breakfast was good, location is nice with lots of massaging places across the road and nice beach, staff is very welcoming and responsive.
Negatives (read on as this may be a deal breaker for you)
- Rooms are a bit small and not everyone has good views (ours was facing the other building that was renovated and ee had very limited daylight)
- Sound travels and at night you can hear cats myoing (they wake you up once or twice through the night)
- Included dinners were super bland and we did not like it at all. I would not recommend paying for inclusive dinners.
- Bed was hard. They provided an softer topper on our request, but was still quite hard to sleep on.
- Staff have a bit of rules of how much service they provide, for example you have to get water at a designated place at breakfast and they will not bring it to the table.
Overall, we loved our stay and would consider coming back. There was nice dinner on the beach and beautiful cultural dinner. I think overall the resort is a good value for money. But they need to look at their dinner menu and maybe change it as it was super bland and not very tasty.

We had an amazing stay at Hard Rock Bali, for our honeymoon, made unforgettable by the incredible people who looked after us.
Our Indulgence Dinner was the highlight of the trip, thanks to Gilang, who went above and beyond in every way. His service was exceptional — warm, professional, and full of heart. What truly stood out was how beautifully he connected with our daughter. She can be shy in new environments, but Gilang made her feel so comfortable, even crafting her roses out of paper napkins and keeping her smiling all evening. The food itself was delicious and beautifully presented. We’d pre-selected our dishes, and the beef tenderloin was a stand out as was the kingfish appetiser.
I also enjoyed an incredible Balinese massage with Sri, who was gentle, intuitive, and left me feeling completely relaxed. It was the perfect way to unwind after a busy few days.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and really comfortable, with everything we needed for a family stay. We were welcomed with a towel swan, rose petal heart and a beautiful cake for celebration. One of the cleaners also left a towel elephant for my daughter one day. The only downside was that our room was on Level 3 near the Centre Stage Bar, which stayed quite loud until midnight — not ideal with a young child trying to sleep.
Overall, the service, atmosphere, and attention to detail were outstanding. Hard Rock Bali has some truly exceptional staff, and people like Gilang and Sri are what make the experience so memorable. We can’t wait to come back — next time, we’ll just request a quieter room!

We chose to stay at hard rock Bali this year as we stayed at Dynasty last year on holiday which seemed to cater to families who had younger children. We thought Hard Rock would cater more to teenagers (as we travel with 5 of them!) given the speed slides advertised at the time of booking and the “music/rock” theme of the hotel.
however we were a little disappointed on arrival that the only slides that catered to teenagers were no longer operational and were currently being removed and replaced with another attraction that was not going to be ready during our stay. The “teen” room was mostly full of primary school kids with their parents and the pool area and activities were definitely more aimed at younger children families similar to Dynasty. The pool is very large and enjoyable, although can be very busy with a lot of kids during peak times and they also take up a lot of realestate at the swim up bar regardless of having a seperate “kids swim up bar” of their own which can make ordering a drink difficult at times. If you have young children I think this hotel is a great option as they offer a lot of activities such as pool sports, competitions, kids water slides and foam parties, but for older kids and couples and singles, there may be better options in the area. The location is great straight across from the beach and within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Rooms are clean and big enough for two but if you are sharing with more than two people it can feel overcrowded and the lighting could be better for those needing proper lighting for things like make up application. Prices within the hotel are very much on par with Australian prices so eating and drinking at the hotel will be pricey in comparison to other local options. Staff are very friendly, helpful and respectful.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Hard Rock Hotel. It was amazing. Very clean, with lots of facilities. The pools and slides are great, our daughter absolutely loved it.
We had the breakfast included and it was so delicious with lots of options and they had different options every day. Huge thank you to the chefs and all people who work there. You are doing amazing job.
Spa in the hotel is one of the best. Highly recommend it.

I had such a great stay here, entire staff was super friendly and welcoming, which instantly made us feel comfortable. The room we stayed in was clean, tidy, and very well maintained. 5 night stay at Ayodya Resort Bali, and it was incredible. The resort is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and have aircon.
What really made the stay was the staff always greeting and happy to have conversation. They were so friendly and attentive, always making sure we were well taken care of. The resort also has a great beach and pool. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed for a week celebrating my son's birthday at Ayodya Nusa Dua! The all-inclusive package was absolutely worth it, food, drinks (including alcohol!), and mini-bar were all included all times. The staff went above and beyond, surprising us with balloons, flowers and special note, and not one, not two, but THREE birthday cakes! A small gesture but big impact for us as customer. The location is perfect, right on the beach with tons of sunbeds. The pools are amazing for both kids and adults. Special shout-out to Bapak Suwitra and the restaurant staff especially ibu Sulastri for being so kind and friendly! Too many to mention for free activities both for adults and kids during the day/night, a nightly Bali dance were a huge hit, and our room was spacious with a great and big balcony too. We're already planning our next family trip back next year for the grandparents' 70th. So, so good! Thank you Ayodya.

We spent eight wonderful and rejuvenating days at the Ayodya Resort in Nusa Dua, Bali. With the all-inclusive package, everything was perfectly taken care of — delicious meals at all five restaurants, beverages, and more.
Our room, though basic, was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Room service was prompt and efficient. A small note for elderly travellers: the bathroom has a combined tub and shower, which can be a little tricky for those with mobility issues as getting in and out can be challenging.
The food and service across all restaurants were truly exceptional. We especially loved the Japanese cuisine at Genji — beautifully presented and every bit as authentic as what we’ve enjoyed in Japan.
The resort facilities cater to all ages and preferences. We found a cozy spot under a gazebo on the terrace — the perfect nook to read and unwind. We also loved our early morning and evening walks along the peaceful, well-maintained walkway between the resorts and the sea.
The staff were the real stars of our stay — warm, friendly, and ever ready to help. From reception to housekeeping to the restaurants, every single person we met contributed to making our holiday memorable.
A couple of points for management’s attention:
The elevator in Block 2 near Room 2531 was temperamental and often not working when needed.
We also noticed some food wastage by guests. Future visitors — please do honour the wonderful work of the chefs by taking only what you can enjoy!
Overall, Ayodya Resort gave us a truly restful, heartwarming, and memorable experience. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a serene getaway in Bali. 🌺

Stayed here for our anniversary with connecting room for the kids. Room amenities was OK, air-conditioning unit could have been better. Bottled water might not be enough on a sunny day. Bed and pillows are great. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Nusa Dua, and conveniently boasts a beautiful clean beach nearby. The service team was exceptional - fantastic and incredibly accommodating. The place is beautifully decorated, featuring the iconic Bali gate, and it would make an ideal setting for seaside weddings. However, the breakfast buffet lacked some key traditional Indonesian local delicacies, focusing more on western choices. But despite that, overall our experience was excellent!

My recent stay at the Handwritten Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was swept up in the luxury, warmth, and genuine hospitality that define this beautiful property.
The standout moment for me was the surprise upgrade to a suite, which included a private balcony. The extra space and comfort were perfect. I truly felt like a valued guest, thanks to such thoughtful touches.
What really made this stay special, though, was the level of personalized service. From the start, the staff at the Executive Lounge were incredibly friendly, taking the time to make me feel at home. I was also welcomed on arrival by the Duty/Sales Manager, and it was a lovely surprise to be bid farewell by the Duty Manager, Puri, upon my departure. These little gestures really show the attention to detail that makes Handwritten Nusa Dua a standout.
The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the seaside, providing easy access to the beach. I was thoroughly impressed with the variety of F&B options available, but the Raja Restaurant really deserves a special mention. It was an experience in itself, with traditional Balinese flavors and impeccable service. If you’re a foodie, it’s a must-try and, in my opinion, star-worthy.
The hotel’s lush gardens are another highlight. It felt like a tropical oasis. The spa’s pool was incredibly calming, and the Balinese massage was absolutely rejuvenating. A true escape!
One of the most unique and touching experiences was being invited to participate in the Full Moon Ceremony at the hotel’s on-site temple. It was a beautiful and spiritual experience, made even more special by the fact that the hotel provided guests with traditional Balinese attire to wear for the ceremony. This gesture really added to the cultural immersion and made the stay feel deeply authentic.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the thoughtful convenience of the hotel. With shops on-site, including local vendors and an ATM, it’s easy to find everything you need without leaving the property.
Lastly, the welcome at the hotel was spectacular, with a vibrant Balinese dance performance that instantly set the tone for what was to come. It was a small, yet powerful touch that made the arrival feel extra special.
In summary, the Handwritten Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa offers more than just a luxurious stay, it’s an experience steeped in hospitality, culture, and beauty. Perfect place for our first trip to Bali. Hotel staff were professional, respectful and always ready to help. Buffet food was great, with a lot of healthy options. Room was cleaned everyday and facilities were spotless. Favorite restaurant was the Mexican place. The Guest Relations Office surprised me with a cake and beautiful roses on my birthday which was a very thoughtful way to appreciate guests! Lastly, we were able to use the spa and all facilities after check-out to accommodate our late evening flight home. We hung out at the beach, left our luggage with the concierge and took a shower at the spa before leaving for the airport. Thanks Nusa Dua Hotel and Spa for a fabulous first trip to Bali!

I enjoyed my stay at the Nusa Dua Beach, especially the amazing food and clear labelling of gluten free options, but there were some drawbacks.
This is an older hotel and it's starting to show. Our room was lovely and spacious, but the air-conditioning was inefficient. One of the windows in the small entrance room, which doubles as the second bedroom in the family rooms only had very light sheer curtains and no extra blockout. Upgrading to blockout blinds would also help reduce demand on the air-conditioning and help make the rooms cooler. The sliding doors to our balcony also had a simple latch which meant the door didn't fully seal in order to lock the door. This resulted in additional heat getting into the room. Again, a simple fix which would reduce demand on the aircon and would reduce long-term running costs.
The lighting in the rooms was also pretty poor. The option on opening the second set of louvre doors on the 2nd and third doors wasn't an option as it let in too much heat.
While the food in the restaurants was incredible and the staff absolutely lovely, sitting in the restaurants during the day, with no aircon or weak fans, was really difficult. I get it, Bali is hot, but when you travel from a cooler climate it's difficult to adjust. Also, several fans in one of the restaurants (Tamarind) were broken!
The spa facilities were also a little outdated, but the services were good. I highly recommend the hair spa to anyone struggling with frizzy humidity hair - it was wonderful, even if the surrounds were somewhat outdated.
I would love to stay there again for the food alone, but would probably look at different hotels due to the issues mentioned above

Our stay at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa was absolutely wonderful. The staff went above and beyond with their friendly and attentive service. We did not manage to get all the names, but Darma and Wibawa on the omelette section were very cheerful and polite. Juli made great drinks at the pool bar. Citea from the breakfast time was really sweet and diligent. Also, Firma from Vip service was very helpful and competent. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the beautiful gardens and the main pool area. The breakfast each morning was a highlight due to many delicious options to choose from! The location was also perfect. We can't wait to come back and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Bali experience.

I spent 2 nights here in a Santrian Club room. I did not enjoy this hotel at all. For the price, I could not believe the room. It was small, very dark, a little dank, and completely uncharming. The bathroom was functional but nothing nice.
The buffet breakfast was plentiful but was quantity over quality and the restaurant food was not great, especially for the price. I had just spent 5 nights at a cheaper hotel in another area altogether and the food there was so much better and half the price.
Whilst parts of the grounds were lovely and lush, the areas around the pools were all concrete and not inducive to laying to enjoy the sun with a book.
The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful. They honestly seemed to be the only people in the whole place who were smiling.
I've definitely realised big hotels (and Sanur) are not for me, but even if they were, I can't imagine I'd be impressed with this one. Honestly, I can't understand all the good reviews.

A group of 6 stayed booking the Santrian Club. Sadly 1 couple wasn't put in the club area and we wasn't together, another couple had to move rooms after a day because there wasn't a ground floor room ready. Aside from that our room was big and clean, a bit of a musty smell but the rooms are waiting an upgrade so hopefully this will be rectified. Shower was very small so hopefully that will change with the upgrades. The location is right on the beach and close to shops, bar and restaurants. Staff were nice but wasn't that friendly. Buffet breakfast was outstanding, much choice, loved it!! Afternoon tea had the best cakes sadly the tea was often cold. We only ate in the restaurant once as the food was pricey, but nice. The resort was so clean and those maintaining the grounds were always friendly. Unfortunately one of our days there was a private event on that wasn't very private, it was to noisy to sit around the pool with the swim up bar and no sunbeds around the other pools. We asked for an airer for our bathers at the stay of our 4 day stay and never received one so we had to dry then on the chairs out the front. We never went to the spa, even with the discount it was very pricey.
If you are going to book book directly with the resort you'll get a better deal.

Our room is on the 2nd floor above Ground of Club Santrian building compound. The facility is maintained clean although it is dated. The room is spacious, but there is no elevator/lift for access, yet guests are not notified until reaching the building. We booked through their official website and there is no option of choice. That will make inconvenience to guests with limited accessibility.
Other than this, the hotel is in good location and highly accessible to the Sanua beach and the shopping street. Many good options of restaurants are around. Services is good also.

We have had an amazing vacation with our stay here. First of all, the team of people that work here have made the stay so delightful. The resort itself is beautiful! It is a joy to walk around and take it all in. The interior of the rooms are a classic colonial style. My only suggestion is that for the club rooms they might need to do some updating there after so many years of service.
I can highly recommend a stay here, as we hope to come back here another time. So thank you Puri Santrian family.

This is a very traditional resort with a direct access to the beach and the center of Sanur it has a multitude of swimming pools and amenities that makes it the perfect stay in Bali. Some may find it a bit dated, but I personally found that it added to the "Balinese feel". With a wide choice of fusion food and a drinks, it delivers a great western- Balinese ambience. A great stay in Bali!!!

My husband and I came here as our first hotel on our honeymoon. We did the all inclusive and it was nice to not limit ourselves because they also offer non all inclusive. We stayed in a regular room, which was good with us because we didn’t spend much time in the room. The rooms definitely need to be updated, as they are doing renovations from my understanding soon, so that’s good they acknowledge that! I am gluten free and they had a lot of food options if you asked! They have gluten free bread, pasta and pizza! Also the coffee shop on site has gluten free pastries which was included in the all inclusive. Everyone there was great and very friendly. We also enjoyed the spa the day after we got there after our long flight and it was wonderful. The resort is pretty kid focused but the kids never bothered us. We were only there for a few nights which we thought was more than enough and wish the breakfast varied a little more day to day, but the juices at breakfast were always top notch & it was nice to have an egg station. They do not mark allergens on the buffet, which would have been a huge help to me, but I just ate what I knew I could. Overall, it was great for relaxing as a first stop on our honeymoon but I don’t think we would have wanted to stay there longer than 4 nights!

The hotel was old but well maintained. Beautiful green view around the hotel area. The staff was very good in helping the guests in all areas. We stayed for 3 nights and didn't have a chance to sit around the pool area as always. We took the all inclusive packages and it was the best decision, we enjoyed our breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks no limit including mini bar and room service. We feel that they spoiled the quest with this package offer so guests can have the best experience staying at the hotel. The cocktail range that included on the package is OK but all the food from every restaurant is good. We love our daily jamu drinks too. We definitely will come back again next time.

Myself, my husband and my 7 month old just had our first stay at the Melià and it was such a good holiday! We had the all inclusive package, which I would definitely recommend getting. I read a lot of reviews complaining about the rooms. Yes, the room did have a damp smell to it but that’s what you get when you are staying in a humid environment, it really wasn’t that noticeable. The rooms had great air conditioning and were a good size.
The sheer size of the resort and numerous restaurants/bars was fantastic. The service around the pool was great too, sometimes it would take a little longer but there were so many guests I could see why.
The staff were fantastic! Always smiling and happy to help.
We will 100% be returning to the melià for another holiday. Everything was so easy from the airport pick-up to booking dinner/spa treatments. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

Our stay at Maya Resort and Spa was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. Every staff member was warm and helpful — especially Ari and Stephan, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay.
The resort is incredibly clean and beautifully maintained, surrounded by lush greenery that makes it feel like a true tropical escape. We did feel the air conditioning wasn’t quite cold enough at first, but the team immediately brought us an extra fan and made sure everything was perfect — such great service!
The highlight of our trip was the spa by the river — peaceful, relaxing, and absolutely stunning. Listening to the sound of the flowing water during the massage was pure bliss.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maya Ubud Resort, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff are incredibly humble and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure every guest feels comfortable and well cared for.
A special mention to Pak Parka, Pak Sutrisna, Bu Erna, Bli Sadewa and others the food & beverage team – they were outstanding throughout my stay. Every interaction felt sincere, and their attention to detail made each meal a delight. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with a wide variety of both local and international options, all fresh and beautifully presented. Whether you're a fan of traditional Balinese dishes or prefer Western-style breakfast, there's something for everyone.
The team’s professionalism and friendly attitude made dining at the resort one of the highlights of my visit. It's clear that the F&B staff take pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of service and food.
I highly recommend Maya Ubud to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious retreat with top-tier service. I’m already looking forward to returning!

Maya Ubud is the most beautiful Resort i have ever seen. It is directly in the jungle so everything is green around you. The pools looking amazing and not forget to mention the river running next to the resort. Also every path and every building in the resort just looks incredible and you always have a stunning view to the jungle or in the other direction to a rice terrace. The service is very professional and always ready to help. The breakfast is very delicious and has a lot of variety. In the evening there is always a performance of traditional balinese dances which you can enjoy while having a nice dinner.

The most wonderful 3 nights here at Maya Ubud. The place is magical, jungle is amazing. To wake to the views, animals and sounds of the jungle is magnificent. The room was amazing and the service from the team was amazing. A special mention has to be made to our butler Puspa. He was the shining light of the stay at Maya Ubud. He supported us and made our stay a joy. Nothing was too much and his manner superb. I would recommend this place not only for a 3 night stay but also much longer. Thank you Puspa and the team!

We visited the Double Six October 2025 purely to watch the sunset and have drinks and food, we were coming from outside but welcomed as a staying guest. The enhancement in the menu to food and drinks was fabulous the food quality brilliant but also matched by the superior service offered by Juni as Manager of the Roof Top Bar. She went above and beyond to welcome us back and we could not be happier that the standard has got better since our last visit. The DJ was a welcome change and music really fitted the setting and vibe of the bar. A sunset in Bali should be seen from this rooftop bar it really is memorable.

We had a fantastic experience! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of choices each morning. I especially appreciated that avocado was available everyday. The staff were all lovely and attentive and the butler service made our stay feel extra special! We also made great use of the gym and spa facilities which were well maintained and relaxing. Great hotel right in the middle of everything! This is not a quiet hotel, surrounded by the hustle and bustle of a busy city. The beach bars are also noisy, which bleed into the ocean facing rooms. Our philosophy was ‘Be in the party!’ and enjoy the fantastic night life. This stopped by 11:00pm. The hotel is a little tired in some of the rooms and we had minor issues with the lights and AC, which lead to us to being moved to a penthouse. This was amazing with a second level lounge, cinema and jacuzzi. It also came with a butler service as standard. The hotel could not have done more….🏆
The staff in the hotel are on another level for service and hospitality. I’ve never known a hotel that looks after its guests as well as they did! They were so keen to make us happy it hurt…. Truly amazing!! We never judge an establishment on getting things wrong, only on how they deal with the problem. We only had a couple of issues which were dealt with efficiently and always to our satisfaction.
My overall opinion for this fabulous hotel can be nothing more than 5 stars +. We will be back. Thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely 5 night stay at Maya Sanur, a wonderful start to our Bali trip. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive in all areas of the hotel. Our lagoon suite was spacious, comfortable and the direct access to the lagoon pool was enjoyed everyday.
The breakfast (7-11am) was excellent, with great choice and availability at all times. We were also able to obtain breakfast boxes for an early 6am start.
We enjoyed the free yoga class with beautiful views of the beach and the complimentary afternoon tea. We also loved the private Indonesian culinary class on the garden terrace, where we made six traditional dishes with the guidance of Nanik and Krisna who were excellent hosts and very patient with 2 amateur cooks!
Special mention also to Hendra (housekeeping) whose thoughtful gestures brought a smile to all of our family.
The hotel is right on the beach and many restaurants and bars are well within walking distance.
Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in Sanur.

The exterior of the hotel is amazing. There was some minor work ongoing outside, but this did not bother us.
The lobby is beautiful, but no fans or air-conditioning, and felt very hot. The front counter staff were just ok. We had an issue with our booking via luxury escapes, and whilst the staff were understanding, they were very inflexible, especially considering this was an anniversary trip for myself and my husband. We were taken to our room. The corridors are extremely long, open, and very hot. Again no fans. The lifts are very poor. They look and smell like airport lifts and not a luxury first impression at all.
Our room was absolutely stunning. A lagoon nest suite. Fantastic aircon, amazing bathroom- although the seperate toilet was very small.
We waited over half an hour for our luggage, and when it didn't appear went to the reception. There was a panic as they couldn't locate it, but after 10 minutes we were told it had just been delivered to our room. We decided to go back, unpack and shower as by this point up and down the corridor we were so hot!
Once in the shower, we discovered the shampoo smelled absolutely foul. On opening it, it was just old smelly water!? We told the front counter as we passed to go the restaurant,and they were very apologetic, and it was changed.
The restaurants are a real stand out here. The food and drinks are amazing with lots of options, and the staff at all the restaurants are the absolute best! The Rue quickly became our favourite, with Intan especially making our experience a dream.
The pool areas are stunning, and the overall look of the hotel is truly beautiful and close to the beach.
On exit we were told we could have use of the 'lounge' near the spa. This turned out to be a sofa at the back of the gift shop. No air con had been turned on and the room was extremely hot. We could not stay in there, so went back to Rue to get a cold drink ro try and cool.down whilst we waited for our airport transfer. Very dissapointed with that room which did not give a great last impression
We would book direct with the hotel if we booked again too and not via luxury escapes again

We had such a great stay at Maya Resort! It’s truly the best resort I’ve ever visited. The place is so peaceful and quiet, with complete facilities that made everything perfect. There are also many restaurants, so we could easily choose what we wanted to eat. A big thank you to the reception staff, Oki and Kirana, and also to the handsome bellboy, Kevin! Kirana and Kevin were both super friendly and helpful during our stay. They worked so well together that I even thought they were a couple! 😄

The rooms are very small for more than 2 people, it was too small for our family of 4 (2 children 2 adults) considering the expensive cost to stay here.

Food options are not extensive and are more
on the expensive side.
Staff are very kind.
Buffet is expensive for breakfast for both adults and children. No basic foods to order al a carte for children for breakfast like toast so you either buy your own and make it (without kitchenette) or pay 17.50 for buffet. A lot of young children would not eat 17.50 worth of breakfast. Our young son ate a piece of watermelon from our plate that we had finished with and the restaurant attempted to charge us 17.50.
Turn down service can be quite late considering children are in rooms.
Kids club is great and our kids really enjoyed this.

Rendi was so nice and always checking in on us.
The room was great for our family. Loved having the lagoon pool at our door.
Kids club seemed to have good activity schedule but they didn’t seem to be doing those activities but there wasn’t many kids around so maybe they just ask if the kids want to do them or not.

Padmi from the outdoor bar was magnificent — her customer service was outstanding, and she made us feel so welcome every day. All the staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special.
The live entertainment hosted by Jfree was incredible and added so much fun to our nights. Overall, a fantastic resort with amazing people who really care about their guests. Highly recommend!

Good hotel. Overpriced for what you get imo. Paid for club deal with free flow drinks in afternoon and snacks. Wouldn't do that again. Lovely staff just not worth it imo. We spent 9 amazing days at this resort with friends, and it exceeded all expectations. From the warm welcome and surprise room upgrade to the spotless rooms, stunning gardens, and delicious food, everything was flawless.
The staff were outstanding — friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. While family-friendly, the adults-only restaurant, bar, and infinity pool made it just as perfect for couples and groups without children.
The location is unbeatable, right across from the beach and surrounded by great restaurants and shops. We’ll definitely be back!

P.S if you want a pool side deck chair, forgo the hotel room (you won’t miss much) as you’ll need to sleep on one as they are open to the public. The fences of Kuta are loosened and you’ll battle the Bintang warriors for a space. Good luck!
Aside from that, awesome beach front location, very cold coconuts, super friendly staff and the gardens were quite nice, although bit disappointing that the some of the carp were grey and not orange as expected.

We’ve just returned from a 6-night stay at The Mulia, and it’s safe to say this place is still as incredible as it was two years ago.
The staff went above and beyond, accommodating my recent (temporary) eye issues in which changing our linen daily was no concern for them.
The room is absolute luxury containing a spa bath on the balcony, an automatic toilet in the bathroom and a super comfy bed.
My only complaint with the room that has changed since our last visit is the shampoo and conditioner is now locked down in the shower. This makes it annoying to wash your hair with someone like me who has thick hair or if you have kids/babies and they need to have a bath, the shampoo and conditioner is then inaccessible as it’s locked in the shower.
The food is amazing, at breakfast you can order as many dishes as you want off the menu. And the afternoon tea is something we all looked forward to each day with two hours of cocktails and high tea.
The pools that only The Mulia guests can access are well maintained.
All staff are extremely hospitable and helpful, a special shout-out to Debi and Wijana, who took extra special care of us.
Please don’t change a thing, The Mulia. You’ve perfected the art of hospitality, and that’s why we’ll keep coming back

Really liked this hotel but not sure about value for money. Although water is provided free in the rooms, it's around 10000 rp in the restaurants. The food was ok but had to return the meal in the Japanese restaurant as it was pretty far from tasty or the description. The pools were very shallow and there always seemed to be a lot of cigarette smoke around the pool bars, no matter how many kids or non-smokers were about. Buffet had lots of interesting items, but would have loved some salmon sushimi in the Japanese area.

My kid was already bit irritated after long distance travel and long day out on both times, I thought we would not enjoy our dinner at this restaurant. But, Icka is truly a people person, she helped my Bub to calm down, let him choose his dish, with her magical skills my bub got impressed and got exited to have dinner. dinner was super delicious and we all enjoyed our dinner.

This escape was next level!! The Mulia is just outstandingly luxurious. It is enormous and so grand. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the many areas and pools. Kids club was amazing for our almost 3 year old who travelled with us. Every single staff member we interacted with over the 7 days we stayed, was attentive, friendly and provided exceptional service. They were absolutely wonderful with our son. We felt so special and so glad we chose the Mulia. Highly recommend!!

We have spent the most delightful 10 days at the Mulia Resort in a Lagoon room. The resort is architecturally impressive with statues and wonderful detail in its design. The food is fantastic with many restaurant options all featuring high quality food. The most impressive feature of the Mulia Resort is the staff. Everywhere you go is a friendly staff member looking to make your stay more memorable. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always on hand to help. We have had the most relaxing break and met some very special balinese people during our stay. Highly recommend.

It is an excellent resort with a beautiful beach at Seminyak
Beautiful location with old world charm. Unobtrusive service, pleasant staff always looking after guests.
The menu is beautifully curated. Even from non vegetarian menu they can provide excellent vegetarian dishes by substituting meat protein with vegetable protein.
Indian food is as good as in any Oberoi Hotel anywhere in the world.

The service was outstanding: warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. One evening, we were touched to find our dinner table specially decorated and even received a honeymoon cake – such a thoughtful gesture!

The resort offers a serene and spacious atmosphere, and the staff’s kindness is truly unmatched anywhere else in the world. From the very first moment, when they carefully checked if I had left anything behind in the taxi, I already felt deeply cared for.
Housekeeping was also exceptional. It wasn’t just simple cleaning — every time I returned from a short outing, it felt like stepping into a brand-new room. Even my charging cables were neatly arranged with such attention to detail, which truly impressed me.
The landscaping is breathtaking — it feels like paradise on earth. And the dining experience? Simply perfect. Breakfast was customized to my every preference, making each morning start on the highest note.
“Bali is Oberoi.” I can’t think of a phrase that describes this resort better.

Just a uniquely glorious Balinese experience in the heart of Seminyak. So peaceful it feels like you’re in a remote village but just steps away from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. Highly recommend. The food and service is exceptional. Pool service in particular is very attentive and reasonably priced unlike other five star resorts.

The resort really blew our minds and we have traveled the world and have many experiences with high end resorts. The resort and the rooms are beautiful, the garden, the pool… . The staff watches over every detail and makes sure it is taken care off. You get complimentary fresh mineral water by the pool, sunscreen, snacks etc. There is even a person of the staff who is there to clean your sunglasses… 🤯 . Breakfast was the best we had in Indonesia. Diverse and very tasty. You definitely can tell they use quality ingredients.
The resort also invests in preserving their ecosystem by cleaning the public beach in front of them. They even saveguard the little baby turtles that are hatched on the beach and we were able to help to set them free. As divers, we really love sea turtles so that was a once in a lifetime experience for us!! What an amazing hotel!! We will most definitely come back here!! ♥️

This was our first booking through Luxury Escapes and OMG — what an incredible experience!
We were met at the airport by The Samaya van and warmly welcomed by the beautiful staff. Our pool villa was spacious, private, and absolutely stunning.
The resort itself is outstanding — every staff member was kind, caring, and so polite, and they all remembered our names, which made it feel extra special. We genuinely loved every one of them.
The food was divine, and on our final night our amazing butler, Kris, arranged a romantic table overlooking the sunset — just beautiful. 🌅
A huge bonus is the complimentary transport anywhere in Seminyak, which made getting around so easy.
We highly, highly recommend staying here — and we’ll definitely be back! 🌺

My husband and I recently spent a week at The Samaya, and it was nothing short of a glorious experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine kindness that we instantly felt at home. The staff at this resort are truly remarkable — the most kind, attentive, and helpful people we have ever encountered in our travels.
Every detail of our stay was handled with such care and professionalism, yet always delivered with a personal touch. Whether it was the thoughtful service at breakfast, the immaculate upkeep of the villas, or the way every request was met with a smile, the level of hospitality was exceptional in every sense.
The resort itself is stunning — serene, beautifully maintained, and the perfect setting for a truly relaxing escape. But what made our stay unforgettable was the people. The dedication and warmth of the team at The Samaya elevated our holiday beyond all expectations. We will absolutely return.

Food room service wasn’t as fresh or nice as when we had at the restaurant.
The jacuzzi was a serious let down unfortunately and didn’t fix even after someone did have a lol into it!
Few other misses were immediately sorted when dialled 0.
Great food and lovely drinks especially the Iron Booster and Antioxidant.
Indian food section and vegetarian/vegan options during afternoon tea or otherwise really need to be looked into.
Overall a thank you for making our stay so special, memorable and worth coming back to stay with you all when next, if in Bali.

Quite honestly the best experience we have ever had travelling.
We travelled to Samaya Seminyak for our honeymoon and the level of service was exceptional. Nothing was too much for the staff, who were happy to oblige or come up with solutions to any requests we had. Simple things like each staff member greeting us warmly and remembering our names went a long way.
We had a 1 bed villa, which was extremely spacious, modern and well laid out. It backed on to a small terrace/garden with a swimming pool. The pool was lovely, but is quite deep (1.65m) for an inexperienced swimmer.
The food and beverages are delicious and it's worth booking at their onsite restaurant for dinner. You can also order breakfast to the room as part of your package, which is a great touch.
Would thoroughly recommend samaya seminyak for an unforgettable stay!

This resort was amazing! First, the hospitality. Everyone here was very friendly and attentive to us. I was impressed that the staff even knew our names and addresed us accordingly when we arrive at the restaurant or in greeting us as we passed. Next was the location. The resort is within the town area so just stepping out of the resort will bring you into the town area. A 3 minute walk will take you to the main street where you can find food, shops, spas etc. And not the resort itself. The resort is situated right at the beach so you get a beautiful view of the sea at all times, whether you're having breakfast or dinner at the restaurant, or just chilling at the poolside. Although there are villas at the main resort, we booked one of the larger private villas which was located across the street. You can either walk over in about 2 minutes or call for a buggy and they will transport you to and from your villa.
I do want to just say that while there are 2 restaurants at the resort, the main one is Breeze at the beach area. Although the website and GM's letter states that the other restaurant, Brasserie, serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, that is incorrect. The Brasserie only serves afternoon tea and is totally empty most times. But then, you can always head to the Breeze very easily.
All in, I would say that we had a great stay at The Samaya and will definitely be back in the future!
