What I liked about this hotel is the staff. I really can’t give people working there enough stars! Smiling all the time, ready to help and serve you with pleasure. We stayed there for 4 nights at a suite as a stop for our honeymoon and I am more than happy with the stay. I wish I can give this hotel more than 5 stars. The design of this hotel is very nice! Breakfast buffet has everything, literally. Thank you Mariott Family🙏🏼

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are the most friendly and welcoming hotel team we have ever come across. They have truly great staff that are always cheerful and happy to help you with whatever you need. From the restaurant chefs and waiters, reception team, poolside team and the room attendants nothing was a problem for them and everything worked seamlessly. A BIG thanks to all the Team for a wonderful holiday! 😊

Our stay in Bali was just perfect. The room was fantastic, the pool area was huge and bean bag sun loungers were very relaxing. I have never seen such great service than what I experienced in this hotel by the staff and also in Bali in general to be honest. The staff were incredible and went above and beyond always, they genuinely wanted to speak to you and get to know you. In particular Hardi and Maria were fabulous and really stood out for their brilliant service, approachability and friendliness, they are a credit to the hotel. Also, we ordered room service once and the order arrived only slightly later than expected, and we never complained at all nor expressed any unhappiness about it as we were okay waiting. However, the next day at breakfast the restaurant manager approached us at the table and apologised to us for the delay. We were shocked that it was even something that was paid attention to by staff, as we hadn't even thought about it nor complained about it. However, the manager had himself become aware of it such is the high level of service offered and he gave us 25% off for dinner later to our surprise. Overall, a tremendous stay, I would have zero hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone, the staff just make it special. Location is also great and many shops and restaurants are a few minutes away. Breakfast selection was also excellent.

The perfect place to stay in Bali! Breakfast buffet is renowned as the best in Seminyak- incredible selection. The rooms are so clean, the pool is lovely, the bar and staff are fantastic. Kids had a great time in kids club. I would take advantage of their upfront pay offer- we spent a lot of money in resort on food and drinks so was a good deal. Location perfect and buggy to take you in town. Cannot recommend this hotel enough we were so so happy and will return

This place was brilliant. Great location and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of restaurants on the main road and within a 15 min walk. Also the restaurant on site is good, we had the breakfast there which was great. The pool has one side in the shade and one in the sun, they also have an area with bags to use which are so comfortable it's on a fake grass area which is great. Music being played as well. They come around with ice creams, water and cold towels in the day. Plenty to choose from the pool bar for food. There is also drinks, popcorn, crisps and candy floss to help yourself to. We used the area they have down the beach, it's set back on decking with around 18 beds this opens around 9.30-10 we got there around 9.45-10 each day and you had a choice of beds after 11 there pretty much taken up. There is transport from the hotel to the beach area they have but it's only a 10 mins walk. You get complimentary water, couple of other drinks options and towels down there. We went down here 4 out of 7 days. The level of service at the hotel is great nothing was a problem.. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay..

A classic Bali resort hotel located in the heart of Seminyak. The rooms and villas are excellent and spacious and the service is wonderful. Food and beverage is in general very good, with a lovely buffet breakfast and pool side dining first rate! Looking to keep fit, the gym is good and the lap pool is gorgeous, overlooking the beach along with lush gardens. If you’re looking for a wedding venue then don’t look too far as this resort offers it all. Enjoy the experience, I loved it!!

Definitely recommend to stay for once in your life (great location and great views if you book the ocean suite). Room was clean and housekeeping was top quality. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and easy to approach. Pool was a favourite of ours as it came w a beach view and super clean. Recommend the breakfast buffet as well (something for everyone and staff were helpful in ordering dishes that could be requested). Only downside is despite the closed doors and windows, there were ants on the benches and sometimes found in the cup of the water at the bedside.

Safe to say the team at “The Seminyak” have made our holiday. We have a 1 year old son that was adored and entertained for hours on end by the amazing staff at the hotel. The hospitality, quality of food and drink, quality of rooms and resort amenities have been we second to none. Location is perfect, not too hectic in terms of street traffic and a short walk to all you need in Seminyak. Brendan the GM always came up and greeted us and always made sure we were having the best possible time. You have a great team here mate! We will most definitely be back and after working in the hospitality and major events industry for 15 years it is safe to say, what the hotel has here in its team is very special and we thank you for making our time so amazing. Amazing resort, great hospitality, fantastic view, delicious food. The room was beautiful. Make sure you don’t use tap water. They provide you with water bottles daily, sometimes twice a day. Whatever you need, it was provided. We didn’t explore around much and the only downfall was hearing honks from the street at times but it didn’t take away from the experience. Trissna was super sweet and helpful as well as all of the other staff- we can’t say enough. Service sitting around the pool was fantastic, room service, house keeping, gym, massage, etc. They even had a baby sea turtle release and other events on Wed/Sat. Not too far from the airport either. They offer happy hour too.

Congratulations to the team at Seminyak Beach Resort & Spa! During my recent stay, I must commend the way all the staff made my experience easy and relaxing. Nothing is an issue at The Seminyak. The General Manager, Brendon, deserves recognition for running such a slick operation. The amazing swimming pool, which overlooks the ocean, offers an endless feeling of tranquility. The music is perfectly balanced, not too overpowering, allowing you to laze the day away. The food by the pool is enjoyable, complemented by cold Bintang beers and amazing cocktails. The incredible breakfast buffet leaves you wanting more. Thank you, Team Seminyak Beach Resort &Spa! I will definitely be back. Have fun people, you will not be disappointed Tony

Amazing Experience! I had the most wonderful time at Alila Seminyak. The cocktails were absolutely delicious, perfect for the sunset hour! Despite the rush, the staff was incredibly helpful, especially Anita, who went above and beyond to make sure i had everything i needed even though I’m alone. Her warm and friendly service truly made my evening special. Highly recommend this place for a perfect sunset drink!

We stayed here with a large group of friends and family before a wedding and dozens of us got intense digestive illness within a couple days of being here. The hotel did not compensate us for the medical bills which were about $400 USD per person. I would avoid this hotel at all costs… unless you’re interested in rapidly losing weight.

I am a guest of the hotel. I planned a big trip around the island full of activities. After eating at the resort I got Bali belly (horrible food poisoning). I have been sick for days and my entire trip is ruined. All activities cancelled. I alerted management that I got ill from the food and they assured me they had no other complaints. Sure enough, I learned through conversations with other guests that there are many other sick as well. An entire wedding party from USA that all got sick (just days before the wedding, poor group!). A large party of Australian visitors with one pregnant lady also sick. Upon further discussion with management they assured me these are all isolated incidences and they are investigating. Meanwhile food service remains unchanged and no alert to the guests has been made. This place is beautiful but not worth ruining the holiday. I have been seeing nurses with IV poles running up and down the halls for the last three days and the hotel has done nothing to alert the guests! I told them I felt an obligation to the public to warn them if they continued to treat all the sicknesses as isolated incidents. Be warned!

Hubby and I had the most amazing two week stay at the Alila Seminyak. The location is stunning beautiful facing a huge expanse of beach, ocean and prime sunset views. The hotel architecture is one of the best I have been to with thoughtful spaces for guests to enjoy the sun as well as the breeze. Wonderful personal engagement from staff, Siska and Langang, concierge Sri and so many others. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. Great spa. Will be back!

I had a great time here. The rooms are great and the Beach Bar was very nice and chilled out during the day and had a DJ in the evening, but it was still relaxed and not crazy like some other places. On a special note thanks to the manager Nita, who found my lost scooter key and then an hour later found my lost credit card and kept them safe. She's amazing and super kind!

Went to this hotel for my Honeymoon for 10 days This hotel was an experience for sure, breath-taking views on the beach, great villa and everything looks wonderful. However the staff seemed very unhappy, moody and they delay too much. The room service was alright. The breakfast by the beach was a below average. You get the feeling that there is to much competition between the staff and the servers need training for sure smile methodology would be something good to look into. Yes this is a good hotel, but very outdated. And won’t get any value for money. -Training courses for staff. On service and persona traits check -Right way to serve people in the restaurant, don’t go over people to put food on the table. -Smile and be more professional, I went to majority of the tourist attractions with most hospital-able people with smiles on their face which made the experience wonderful. There are more beautiful hotels in the area with better service and the same price I took there biggest villa But I was was satisfied with my over all stay, but would not come back Value for money not worth it when the service is bad

Gorgeous rooms and beach. Service was below average compared to other hotels we stayed at in Indonesia. Service at the sister property, Samaya in Ubud, was 10/10, and we expected the same at this property, but it fell well short. Staff not as warm, welcoming. Restaurant service was slow and food quality just okay. If I did it again, I'd stay at the same beach, but at a neighboring property.

Lovely Villa based hotel in Seminyak Bali. Really nice open air restaurant overlooking the beach, you can have a table on the grass directly above the beach. Food is very good and staff are very friendly and attentive. Villas with private pools and covered area with garden sofas and table and chairs. Fabulous 👌.

If you are looking for a good spot where to have a drink enjoying the sunset.. well this is definitely not the place. The only tables with « a view » were reserved for dinner (at 17:30..). Plus the drinks didn’t worth the price…

Amazing hotel, villa was spacious and airy with a great private pool. Breeze restaurant was amazing great food and attentive staff. Can't fault it, we have had a truly amazing time here and can't recommend enough.

ITS A SCAM. dont go there, so since the pandemic the hotel closed. and is on sale, they only have the villas available. things to note if you rent w villa: - the hotel rooms are closed - the gym is closed with spider webs - one pool is closed (no renovation) - there is no phone in the villa to contact reception. - no restaurant in the hotel only the beach club near by - the pool of the hotel is a public beach club not private for the hotel guests. so basically you’re paying for amenities that do not exist also its not safe as they dont have staff only one person at reception and anyone can enter and no one would ask anything.

This was one of the last old school hotels where you could enjoy some peace and quiet by the pool listening to the breeze in the trees and the ocean. Now, unfortunately, they've decided to pump out the hip dance music soundtrack over loud speakers like all the other hotels. We aren't all 20 somethings looking for a party but they don't seem to realise. Lose the EDM and I may return.

A very beautiful place, located to the beach, garden and outdoor area with a plunge pool is very nice and maintained. The service is very good. However the indoors needs a bit of renovation and modernization .

This excellently located resort is simply amazing although needing some touch up. The hotel was kind enough to upgrade me to the beachfront suite which comes with its own jacuzzi and chilling gazebo which overlooks into the sea. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, they made the stay during the pandemic into a paradise and I ended up extending the stay. The hotel has one of the best location in Seminyak and direct beach access to view the perfect sunset. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I’m impressed. This is my first time to stay in here. The staff were very helpful, kind, and fully attentive to the guests. On the first day after do some check in administration, one of the staff welcoming us and asked about our visit in Bali. The second day when I celebrated my birthday, they sending me a birthday cake in my room. Waw! Special mention to Doni that he did some way to ensure that we’re having a memorable stayed during our holiday, when we’re having our last breakfast there. The pool especially the garden pool is super relaxing and i had my zen time 🤩 the garden are very well maintained. The hotel also provides a superb breakfast!! I can eat forever there lol. The hotel room are clean. And the hotel have an access to the beach but it isnt private for the guest. The beach is pretty and clean. I would love to stay here in another time. Thank you The Royal Seminyak!
