Great hotel. Make sure you get a room with direct entry to the main pool. Breakfast was awesome, nice staff in the entire hotel. The only "issue" is the beach. Not nice and dirty. And consider you have to walk in case you want to eat or drink outside. Minimum 10min or more. This was not a big deal for me, in case you like walking.

Overall, I had a pretty good stay at the resort. I loved the swimming pool, it’s huge and beautifully designed! If you’re planning to stay here, I’d definitely recommend getting a pool view or even better, a pool access room for the full experience. Downside: some of the furniture in the room felt a little dated and worn. The biggest downside for me was the slow service at the hotel restaurants, it often took 30 minutes to over an hour for a dish to arrive, and even drinks like coffee or tea could take more than 20 minutes. Also, the hotel layout is quite maze-like. If you’re not great with directions, try to avoid rooms on Level 1, 2, or the basement, it’s easy to get lost down there.

Breakfast was very nice a lot of selection I also used the gym each morning which has all the equipment you need to get a get workout staff there too are brilliant. Hotel is in a good location has shops around & small taxi journey from anything else you want to do.

Beautiful and well maintained resort! Pools are clean and temperature controlled. Breakfast buffet has a great variety and very well seasoned food. In room dining food was also delicious especially the club sandwich. We stayed in the luxury suite with pool access which I would recommend. Most importantly the hospitality of the staff is outstanding very polite, respectful and accommodating. The beach by the hotel is mainly for water sports and activities but still offers a nice backdrop to the beachfront swimming pool.

The rooms are so amazing 👏 🤩 I love it every time I come here. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I'm writing this review only because of Demmy he is the guest and service delivery manager. Every time I come to the resort he is always welcoming and remembers my name that's gives a personal touch and make the whole experience personalised. I had given my items for laundry and next day when I spoke with him at the reception. He personally made sure I get all of my items with care delivered personally to my room. I was touched with the genuine care offered towards the guests staying in the hotel. Besides this the hotel is beautiful and clean and every effort is made to keep the guests very happy. I like the breakfast options and smiles of the staff greeting with warmth. Keep up the good work 👏. I had a very pleasant stay Can wait to visit again.

Perfect Getaway with Exceptional Service We’ve just returned from a truly relaxing stay at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa — and once again, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. A special mention must go to Surya, our driver for airport transfers. He was incredibly helpful, warm, and accommodating. His local knowledge, calm nature, and great conversation made every journey feel effortless. He’s a true gem and a wonderful ambassador for the hotel. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well-maintained, with every corner designed for comfort and calm. The food was consistently excellent, and we enjoyed the variety across different dining options. The breakfast service was exceptional, with the staff always going the extra mile to make sure we were looked after. This was our first visit, but certainly won’t be our last. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to our next stay. Highly recommended.

This is our second time visiting and somehow it was even better than the first. It's amazing how it never feels like there's enough time in the day to get all the relaxing done that we want when we're there. The hotel caters well to those with kids and without. We had a family room which has a separate room for the kids with a bunk bed, which lead into another room with a king bed. Like having a 2 bedroom place. Perfect amount of space for us. Their pool facilities are great and the adults only area is so peaceful - we love the spa and cold plunge pool. The food is just phenomenal and my kids loved the kids menu too. The guitarist/singer is fantastic and creates a wonderful vibe for a pre-dinner drink.. We can't wait to come back.

This resort offers a truly traditional Balinese atmosphere with beautifully maintained grounds, lush greenery, and a peaceful setting that feels both authentic and refined. Everything was spotless and well cared for. The service was exceptional. Staff were warm, attentive, and consistently kind. As a honeymoon couple, we were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, which was an unforgettable gesture and really set the tone for our stay. Breakfast was the highlight. The variety was vast, the quality was top-notch, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. It felt more like a curated dining experience than a typical hotel buffet. The bamboo Mediterranean restaurant on site, also impressed us with its atmosphere, great food, and fair pricing. The beach was clean and pleasant, adding to the relaxing experience. A couple of downsides included limited loungers by the beach and a lagoon pool in need of maintenance—several tiles were missing or loose on the bottom. Despite those small issues, we had a fantastic stay. I will definitely consider returning here the next time we visit Bali.

Our stay at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa - Handwritten Collection was nothing short of magical. From the moment we entered the grand Balinese-style lobby, we were swept away by the warm hospitality and lush tropical surroundings. The traditional architecture, complete with intricate carvings and spacious courtyards, made us feel like we were stepping into a royal Balinese palace. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a balcony overlooking the serene gardens and pool area. It was the perfect space to unwind after a day at the beach. Speaking of which, the private beach access was a major highlight – clean, quiet, and great for a peaceful walk or a refreshing dip in the sea. The breakfast buffet was extensive, with both local Balinese dishes and international options to suit all tastes. The hotel also features multiple restaurants, a well-equipped gym, a beautiful spa, and activities to keep everyone entertained. What really stood out was the exceptional service – staff members greeted us with genuine smiles and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. I had the most wonderful all-inclusive experience at Ayodya Resort Bali. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always greeting with a smile and making sure every detail was perfect. We had a fantastic stay at Ayodya Resort Bali! The resort is absolutely stunning—sprawling gardens, traditional Balinese architecture, and a beautiful private beach. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a lovely balcony view. The breakfast buffet was good—plenty of variety, fresh and flavorful. We also tried a few of their restaurants, and the food was good. The pools were clean and well-maintained. What really stood out was the service—staff were warm, courteous, and always ready to help. The resort is also family-friendly, with great activities for kids and easy access to Bali Collection and other attractions. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, scenic stay in Nusa Dua!

After we came back to Australia, I wanted to write again about our experience. The Ayodya Resort is absolutely gorgeous, with grand architecture, spacious rooms, and breathtaking beachfront views—but what touched us the most was the staff. Every interaction was filled with respect, warmth, and care. They anticipated our needs, remembered our preferences, and always went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The level of hospitality here feels truly Balinese—genuine, gracious, and soulful. The beautiful setting and world-class amenities are the icing on the cake. We left feeling cared for, refreshed, and deeply grateful.

Heaven on earth. The place is absolutely stunning. Has a beautiful beachfront as well, and some very nice pools. I stayed here for about 5 days and the place felt very welcoming. There is not much to do around this side of Bali other than exploring beaches and tanning under the sun; and Ayodya is the perfect place to do so. The staff is friendly enough to help out with pretty much anything. Would suggest to book a bit in advance to take advantage of low prices and better deals. The place is huge so if you are travelling with someone who cannot afford to walk a lot, then ask for the map of the place. This would also help in case you want a pool-facing or beach-facing view. Food should not be a huge concern here because they have 4-5 different restaurants here. Breakfast options are fantastic. If you are staying in resort during the mornings, do not skip breakfast.

Ayodya is a great place to relax, with plenty of room at the pools, and a kids pool area too. Lots of activities and games that you can play too. For the price point, I’d say it’s a 4 star hotel. Pleasant, nothing to complain about, but it didn’t make us say “wow!”, but that’s not a bad thing at all. The staff were attentive, the food was delicious; though because we weren’t on the all inclusive we didn’t eat much at the hotel outside of breakfast. Our room was lovely, spacious, clean, and comfy. However we did travel with family, and their room was quite damp and musty. Overall, a lovely place at a reasonable price point. Are there better resorts? Yeah of course, but they’re more expensive and in my experience not a lot better in terms of food or service, and that’s what matters to us. Would definitely come back!

We stayed at Bali Tropic Resort & Spa for 9 nights, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality. Every morning, we looked forward to the breakfast buffet—not just for the food, but for the lovely ambiance and the genuinely friendly staff who greeted us with smiles and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms, while slightly outdated in terms of decor, were kept very clean and were serviced almost daily, which made our stay comfortable. The pool is on the smaller side, but it was still a great spot to relax and swim—it served its purpose perfectly. One of the highlights of the resort is the beautifully maintained grounds. The lush greenery and traditional Balinese design create a peaceful, tropical atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing getaway. Another bonus is the convenience store located just across the street—super handy for grabbing essentials or snacks without having to go far. Overall, Bali Tropic Resort & Spa gave us a memorable stay, and we’d happily return for another relaxing holiday in Nusa Dua.

Disregarding my opinion that Nusa Dua is a rather soulless strip of luxury hotels with mediocre beaches, this hotel is a reasonably priced, balinese stye, pleasant option with several restaurants, activities, and evening entertainment. The original room we were given had a drain smell, but we were promptly offered a free upgrade to a club room. These modern rooms offer exclusive access to a rooftop terrace with a bar and an infinity pool, which was lovely. The staff were very friendly, and the food was good and reasonably priced compared to the rest of the area.

The Bali Tropic resort is an older resort in the traditional Balinese style. Personally I appreciated the Balinese design and liked this aspect but they could probably make a few small updates to give it a fresher look. However I do NOT recommend booking a deluxe room. These are all in one small building tucked into the back of the resort with half looking directly into the back of another building. The majority of the resort is the deluxe bungalows which are nice and spacious. I choose to upgrade after seeing the deluxe room and I suggest the same for others. The staff are all extremely friendly and you can see they try hard to make you enjoy your stay. The general demographic was 90% Europeans aged in their 50-70s on the all-inclusive package. This meant that there was a lot of people drinking at the pool bar and smoking around the pool all day which wasn’t ideal for our young family. Suggestion for improvement- if you want to be family friendly then there must be a non smoking area by the pool. Lastly the food was very average. We ate at the restaurant and ordered room service and found it all very underwhelming. Breakfast buffet is fine but for anything more I would eat elsewhere.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it as a good option for accommodation at Nusa Dua for people who are looking for a relaxed and chilled getaway. Positives - loved the traditional design of the resort, breakfast was good, location is nice with lots of massaging places across the road and nice beach, staff is very welcoming and responsive. Negatives (read on as this may be a deal breaker for you) - Rooms are a bit small and not everyone has good views (ours was facing the other building that was renovated and ee had very limited daylight) - Sound travels and at night you can hear cats myoing (they wake you up once or twice through the night) - Included dinners were super bland and we did not like it at all. I would not recommend paying for inclusive dinners. - Bed was hard. They provided an softer topper on our request, but was still quite hard to sleep on. - Staff have a bit of rules of how much service they provide, for example you have to get water at a designated place at breakfast and they will not bring it to the table. Overall, we loved our stay and would consider coming back. There was nice dinner on the beach and beautiful cultural dinner. I think overall the resort is a good value for money. But they need to look at their dinner menu and maybe change it as it was super bland and not very tasty.

The resort is great and built in traditional style, the rooms are fantastic, the staff reflects the balinese kindness and the food is not bad. The only problem lies on the beach, which is full of plastic: on the sand, when there's low tide, you can walk on plastic wraps and bags. This is a problem regarding the whole island, but at least in a resort I would hope the private beach gets cleand.

My husband and I came here as our first hotel on our honeymoon. We did the all inclusive and it was nice to not limit ourselves because they also offer non all inclusive. We stayed in a regular room, which was good with us because we didn’t spend much time in the room. The rooms definitely need to be updated, as they are doing renovations from my understanding soon, so that’s good they acknowledge that! I am gluten free and they had a lot of food options if you asked! They have gluten free bread, pasta and pizza! Also the coffee shop on site has gluten free pastries which was included in the all inclusive. Everyone there was great and very friendly. We also enjoyed the spa the day after we got there after our long flight and it was wonderful. The resort is pretty kid focused but the kids never bothered us. We were only there for a few nights which we thought was more than enough and wish the breakfast varied a little more day to day, but the juices at breakfast were always top notch & it was nice to have an egg station. They do not mark allergens on the buffet, which would have been a huge help to me, but I just ate what I knew I could. Overall, it was great for relaxing as a first stop on our honeymoon but I don’t think we would have wanted to stay there longer than 4 nights!

I really wanted to give this hotel a higher rating, but after some thought, this is the best I can do. My family opted for the all-inclusive package and tried to experience everything the resort had to offer. The kids loved the Kids Club—no complaints there. My wife and I made use of the sporting facilities, including the squash courts (which are air-conditioned but have a deteriorating floor), tennis courts, and bikes for rides along the beach path. However, the entire resort feels quite outdated, nowhere near a five-star standard. They are planning renovations soon, so I would suggest waiting to book until after those are complete. We’ve visited Bali before and know how to be cautious with the water, but despite being careful, both my wife and I got Bali belly at different times. After considering all the factors, we believe it came from the drinks, which was quite frustrating. There’s essentially only one pool everyone can use unless you’ve booked one of the exclusive ones, which limits the experience. Room service food was subpar compared to other resorts we’ve stayed at on the island. Some of the restaurants, like the Japanese one, were exceptional—truly top-tier—but others, like El Patio, were lacking in quality. One big issue was the pool chairs. There’s a rule that towels left unattended will be removed, but it’s not enforced. We found the same guests claiming the best spots every morning, leaving their belongings there for hours without showing up. Enforcing this rule would really help others enjoy those prime spots closer to the pool. The buzzers for ordering food or drinks by the pool rarely worked, although the staff, when they did come by, were always friendly and helpful. The YHI Spa is easily a five-star experience—my wife and I both had multiple massages, and each one was fantastic. The rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The bathrooms are dated, with poor water pressure and small, outdated shower heads. It just doesn't feel like a five-star resort in this condition. On a positive note, the gardens are beautifully maintained and a pleasure to walk through. In summary, while there were some high points, especially the spa and some of the restaurants, the resort is currently not at the five-star level it claims to be. I’d recommend waiting until after the renovation to see if it improves.

We wish we had read the reviews before booking. Despite notifying the hotel about our vegetarian dietary needs, breakfast was the same every day. We had to keep asking different chefs for something different, but nothing changed. The hotel claims to have multiple pools, but we were restricted to one. Good luck finding a beach bed if you’re not up by 9 am. We expected the warm Balinese hospitality we’ve experienced elsewhere, but it was missing here. Overall, very dissatisfied and felt it was a waste of money.

Our stay at Sofitel Nusa Dua was overall okay, but there were several points that could have been improved. Check-In: The check-in experience was disappointing as we received our room later than the official check-in time. After a long journey, this was not ideal. Staff: In general, the staff was friendly and helpful. However, there were a few exceptions. The waitress at the lobby bar was very strict and not welcoming, which gave a bad first impression. Additionally, one of the female waitresses at the pool bar was extremely rude, when handing me my drink, she almost threw it into the pool, which was shocking. On the positive side, Sri really stood out; she was always smiling and eager to help, making our experience much better. Also, the male waiters at the pool were all very nice and attentive. Room: The room was modern and clean, thanks to the amazing housekeeping team, but it felt a bit too small for our taste. Facilities: The pools were beautiful, but the management should be stricter about guests reserving sunbeds and then leaving. Many sunbeds were occupied with towels but no guests in sight. Food & Drinks: The food was delicious, both at breakfast and in the restaurants, and the drinks were great too. It is also worth mentioning that the coffee was incredible. That said, we found the prices extremely high for Bali. Beach: The biggest downside was the beach. The slope into the water was quite abrupt, and the sand was muddy and unpleasant, it felt like your feet were sinking into it. Of course, this isn’t the hotel’s fault, but it’s worth mentioning for those who expect a pristine beach experience.

I’d like to especially thank May and her team for professionalism and for going above and beyond to arrange a new room for my late check-out — it made my departure so much more comfortable. Perfect Honeymoon Destination in Bali! My husband and I spent 12 incredible nights in the Honeymoon Suite, and everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. This resort is beautifully located, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle, which was exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. The resort has plenty to offer to fill in those days when you don't want to leave the resort. Club access was totally worth it, providing great perks and service. And you absolutely *must* try the spa – it's truly incredible! A special shout-out to our butler - Edi, who made our stay so seamless and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. We can't recommend this hotel enough for a romantic getaway or honeymoon in Bali!

This large, professional resort offers so much, you may not want to leave! Great if you like consistent chain hotel quality. Kids' pools are a highlight, along with ground-level rooms offering direct pool access. Don't miss the pool bar. For active types, direct surfing access, bike rentals, and soccer are fantastic!
