We had a wonderful experience dining by the pool with our family thanks to the exceptionally friendly staff. Our orders were brought to us promptly and the service was so kind. We highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food and outstanding service. Our children love coming here because of the tasty meals and the warm hospitality.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights after an 11-day roundtrip. The hotel itself is very nice and the location is beautiful! The staff was quite friendly, however, less so than in the other hotels we stayed at during our trip. Prices for food and drinks were also higher than in all the other hotels (which were of the same standard). The total no-go: We were asked to go to the reception, have a seat, and write a five-star review (the five stars were even pressed for us) while a staff member was standing behind us and watching what we were writing.

Wonderful hotel on a glorious stretch of white sand at the bottom of the garden from the pool & loungers. The buffet breakfast had an amazing selection and the food was delicious throughout so were the cocktails! The Spa was amazing such a relaxing treatment.

Post Easter Attack and COVID, Local guests were the main source of income for these hotels. But unfortunately now they are disrespecting the local guests. I believe we were the only locals in the hotel for that particular day (2nd April 2024) and welcoming and treatment from Front office & Security was extremely disappointing. Our concerns regarding food were humbly accepted by their Chefs and barman and thereafter provided us with super delicious food. We thank them and appreciated for their service. But front office staff only knows to talk about company protocols and argue with guests.

Beautiful resort. Listening to the sound of the waves while you sleep is so calming. Staff welcomed us with positive energy, rooms were clean, and excellent room service was provided throughout our stay. We were lucky to see a thunderstorm during our stay, but I would like to suggest that an alternative route be added when it rains. We were stuck at the hotels reception, waiting for the storm to calm. Maybe other resources can be used instead of the boat during rainy weather to make it more convenient for hotel guests.

The hotel says it’s a heritage property but it’s lacks on many fronts. Room are damp, locks on door does not work, drainage is an issue in the washrooms, the rooms are scattered and it takes time to find them. Front office is not helpful much. Food variety is average. The only good time I had was meeting Chamika & Rasika in their restaurant(breakfast area) who knew what customer service is and made me feel relaxed and welcome. Otherwise they will ask have you paid a bill so many times that we felt like we are robbing them 🙈. The location is ok but the beach is choppy so planning months is very important.

Old rooms with, musty smell in the lobby and some rooms. The main idea of the hotel is to fraud guests. Waiters don’t know drink prices and told first that come to their head. They have „promotions of the month” in the bar, but don’t want to sell drinks by promotion price. All prices in menus don’t include taxes and tips that will be automatically applied to your order you’ll never know what the real price of the things you’ve ordered. AI alcohol drinks very primitive and strong, if you want to order something better - pay. Interesting fact, barmen propose paid drinks first and only after remarks gave AI free drinks menu. For non AI all drinks are paid except coffee/tea and juice during breakfast. Want to drink some water or juice during the dinner and you’re not on AI - pay for that (it’s a first hotel where I’ve to pay for a glass of water during dinner). A lot of paid services that hotel stuff advertise very aggressively distributing you from meal taking. Hotel have a fence around, but there is a lot of sellers ( fruits, clothes etc.) from the other side that constantly disturbing guest from taking sunbathing on the pool area and hotel security ignoring that. Huge concentration of the „Z”-Russians in the hotel that behave awfully, it was a situation when one of such groups listened loud russian music on pool area till 4am and nobody from the hotel stuff can stop it. Meal, if you’re not the fan of the spicy food - bad news, 95% of the meals are very spicy, sometimes you can find seafood and if it will be not spicy like in hell - it’s impossible to eat it (I thought I’ll cut all my fingers before open the crab’s claw shell). But it was some good points, like good location, big and clean pool, and the distance to the ocean.

The location is wow. There were a few minor glitches in terms of the ac leakage and the TV,but with one call the service guys were there in 10 mins and immediately sorted out the issues . Service was fairly decent. Overall the hotel staff had a mix of people while some would greet you with a big smile there were others who would make you feel why are you here. And the Spa was a dampener for me. Very highly priced and the services very average.

We had a wonderful stay at Ceysands hotel in Bentota. The location is surrounded by Bentota Bay and the beach, which makes it unique. The full board price is reasonable as well. Among the things that can be improved, I would suggest increasing the number of staff in the buffet area so that guests are accommodated.

Amazing location , very attentive management and staff , simple yet tasty food…. Tried lunch there , might use more varieties in this area but not long enough to judge the varieties though , but the quality is amazing. Lobby decoration is nice , amazing green enclosures , and the rooms have been recently renovated so looks modern with fresh colors… Best part is the location though , it’s relatively big resort but the best part that the pool is at a higher level than the sea which ensures a certain nice degree of privacy with maintaining direct close access and view to the sea Definitely recommended

Our stay was amazing! The friendly staff, the fresh and flavourful food, the location close to local market and restaurants. The stunning nature, the beach!!!!, the cleanliness, the service, the activities, the Spa!!!; volleyball and surfing among others!!! Nothing too loud and noisy which is amazing for everyone to enjoy what they are doing without annoying others. Kids corner for activities also lovely and quite. Simply an amazing place to stay and relax and enjoy a great vacation with friends or family!!! All the love to these amazing people! 💓✨💫

Rooms are quite small but the hospitality, restaurant and chefs are amazing. Love to visit and book this place again. They also make food for your little one and chef are personally checking on it if the little one loves it or not. Love this place and their hospitality. I would definitely recommend people to book and stay if you want your stay super comfortable and wants your little one to enjoy with you. The beach rooms are beautiful and really romantic for the couples. They made elephant for my little one to play with towels and we really appreciate their gesture.

Nice place with sea breeze. Peaceful and clean atmosphere. Specially they serve really delicious food varieties. Building appears to be an old one, but well maintained. Service is good and friendly. Location is good and easy to access. Not really near to the Galle - Colombo main road though (It is around 1km from the Galle - Colombo main road). Overall nice resort.

Food was amazing and we had the best Sri Lankan food here in our whole trip. It is a beach view restaurant. Restaurant was well clean and amazing interior and ambiance. I would recommend the place to dine with family and friends. Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5
