Celebrating our 25th anniversary with an all-inclusive trip, my wife and I found our stay at Villa Park truly memorable, and we're already looking forward to returning. From the moment we arrived, Sana ensured our experience was seamless and exceptional. Greeting us at the airport, she served as our primary guide throughout our stay, expertly arranging activities, and we greatly appreciated her patience and the complimentary accommodation upgrade. We were delighted by the fantastic food and drinks. Adnan Sabbir, our host at Maaniya restaurant, was exceptionally kind, helpful, and accommodating, significantly enhancing our stay. Angelie at the coffee shop provided exceptional service with a warm and friendly manner, making our visits a true pleasure. We also want to thank Shahin, Rajib, and Mamun, our concierge and buggy cart drivers, who truly made us feel at home. They were always available to help, providing transportation and a tour, which we greatly appreciated. Mamun, thank you for booking our bikes and recommending the best spots on the island to explore – it was an amazing experience! Finally, Masud at the gym was incredibly helpful in accommodating us for the sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and cold water plunge. We especially loved the cold water plunge experience!

We had an amazing stay at Villa Park Maldives and loved every moment! The island is beautifully peaceful, the restaurants are varied, and the service is outstanding. A special thank you to our lovely guest relations manager for the surprise room upgrade – it made our trip even more special. She also sent us the daily schedule of activities, which was so helpful to make the most of our time there. So, for everything, big thank you Paris. We also want to thank the friendly buggy drivers who took us everywhere with a smile. One tip for future guests: bicycles are available, but they come with an extra charge – it would be wonderful if at least two days were complimentary. The only small disappointment was the Italian restaurant, as I was expecting a bit more, but overall everything was great. We can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise! We had a wonderful time at Villa Park Sun Island Resort. The island itself is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a wide variety of activities. Our room was modern, spotless, and very comfortable. Although it was a bit far from the main restaurant and bars, transportation by buggy was quick and efficient. The food was varied, and the staff was always kind and helpful. A very special thanks to Chef Trinity, who went out of his way every single day to prepare separate meals for my sister due to her severe seafood allergy. His care and attention truly made a difference and gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The overall food quality was standard buffet level – nothing extraordinary, but there was always something decent to choose from. We enjoyed several activities, including canoeing, snorkeling, watching the shark and stingray feedings, and attending the disco nights. Each experience was a highlight and absolutely worth trying. The resort also offers plenty of other services like a gym, sports courts, spa, diving center, and more. Despite some small issues, like slow communication with the host and the coral reef not being the most impressive, we had a fantastic stay and left with great memories.

We recently stayed at Villa Park in the Maldives and had a lovely time overall, though there were some aspects that didn’t quite meet our expectations for a 5-star resort. Positives: Our Lagoon Beach Villa was beautiful – spacious, clean, and just steps away from the stunning ocean, which was, of course, the highlight as expected on the Maldives. The staff were extremely friendly and especially great with kids. The Kids Club was a real plus – modern, well-equipped, and run by a fantastic team who clearly love what they do. Our child absolutely loved it. Areas for Improvement: While the natural setting is unbeatable, the resort itself falls short of the 5-star standard it claims. The buffet food was good, but not exceptional – certainly not what you’d expect from a luxury resort. Several parts of the hotel are in need of renovation, especially the pool areas. The baby pool in particular looked quite neglected. One of the beach bars also seemed quite run-down and didn’t invite you to stay. Another disappointment were the bikes available for rent – not only did they cost extra, but they were old and rusty, which really shouldn’t be the case in a premium resort. In summary, we enjoyed our time thanks to the beautiful nature and the friendly staff, but the overall experience did not quite live up to the 5-star expectations. With some updates and more attention to detail, Villa Park could really live up to its potential.

My stay at Centara Maldives was absolutely divine! The room was beautifully designed and furnished, making it the perfect retreat. But the real highlight was the beach - crystal clear waters and pristine sand made it feel like heaven on earth. The resort had an amazing selection of restaurants, and I was particularly fond of the Thai and Italian options. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. I also loved the variety of water sports and activities available, which added an exciting element to my stay. But what really drew me to this resort was the tranquil atmosphere, perfect for chilling, healing, and indulging in some luxury. The Indian Ocean air seemed to melt all my worries away! Overall, Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives exceeded my expectations in every way. If you're looking for a luxurious, relaxing getaway, this is the place to be!

We just came back from this paradise island and can happily say that there were so many outstanding moments during our stay, however, the things that stood out the most were the friendliness and professionalism of the staff, the amazing quality and variety of the food across all 3 restaurants, the overall beauty of the island and finally the richness of the house reef! To note that whilst the arrival seaplane transfer wasn't timely booked following the last-minute change in our arrival date, however, the check-in staff at the resort (sorry didn't note his name) was very professional in making us feel welcomed and giving us all the information we needed to start our unforgettable holiday on this island. Our overwater villa was very nice and well equipped, and although it wasn't a sunset or sunrise room, however we could still spot a glimpse of the magical sunrise in the mornings. I would like to thank Amanualla for keeping our room clean and nicely decorated on our arrival and on my husband's birthday. The team at the diving center (Shakeeb and Yoki) were very helpful and organized, and with the weather being unpredictable during our stay, I thought they did an amazing job at managing the rescheduling of most excursions. The team who went with us on the boat during the excursions were also all amazing and you can tell how passionate they are about their work (I don't remember all their names, but honestly every singe one of them, including the captain, deserves a shout-out for the work they do). We happily used the professional photography service (sorry I didn't note the photographer's name). I highly recommend this experience because the photos turned out so beautiful! I can't wait to print them and enjoy looking at them every day! The Spa is a very beautiful and serene place. Jen did a great job explaining the different treatments to me and my therapist Dao made me feel very relaxed and in peace after her treatments! I wrote separate reviews for each restaurant, however I want to make a special mention here for the exceptional service of the following staff: the Teppanyaki chef, May and June at the Reef, Meaw at Suan Bua and Mery at Mare Azzurro along with their teams and chefs in the kitchen and behind the buffet. Every afternoon from 5pm we gathered around Coral bar to listen to Stephan; this became my favorite part of the day because he's an amazing singer and his singing gave a lovely ambiance to each evening. Coral bar was our meeting point every night after dinner to play some games or enjoy the evening entertainment with the most delicious cocktails made by Shafiq who was such a friendly person and was always happy to see us. Another special mention to Huhthu who managed the entertainment at Coral bar and kept everyone engaged with his positive and lively energy. During our stay it was clear to us that the management of this resort have customer satisfaction as their priority because we had several interactions with them that proved this, especially Shervin (the F&B manager) who we met several times and was always checking to make sure we were satisfied with our stay. A final thanks to the whole team at Centara Collection for their amazing service and for always being so smiley and helpful. I wish I could have given you all a big hug before I left!

From a Bumpy Start to a Truly Beautiful Honeymoon — Thank You to the Incredible Team 💖 We checked into Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Centara for our honeymoon, and although our stay began with an unexpected & unfortunate concern, what followed was nothing short of exceptional. I want to say this: the way the hotel handled it afterward was exceptional. After the incident, Mr. Nalin, the Resident Manager, personally stepped in and ensured we were taken care of in every possible way. His empathy, warmth, and professionalism truly turned things around for us. He didn’t just apologize — he made it his mission to restore our comfort, confidence, and joy during our stay. From the special honeymoon setup, thoughtful gestures, to the attentiveness of the entire staff — we truly felt cared for. And it’s rare to see that level of hospitality where a team doesn’t just “fix a problem” but goes beyond to make you feel valued and heard. Aside from that, the island is absolutely stunning. The villas are serene, the views breathtaking, and it’s a perfect place to fall in love all over again. While our experience had a rocky start, it ended with memories that we’ll cherish forever — all thanks to the heart and dedication of the management and staff. The holiday of a lifetime: 10/10 4star. 55 acres of paradise. Incredible space, service and exceptional food. We loved every second and we leave the best we have felt in years. Rested, tanned, unwound, the whites of our eyes crystal clear. The house reefs are excellent, rooms very clean, at 90% occupancy it felt empty and you have so much privacy. We chose to come first week of May for manta and whale shark sightings. A manta jumped out of the ocean in front of us whilst we were sat on the beach. The ocean is teeming with life. There are so many facilities like a padel court, full sized football pitch, tennis courts and dive centre yet this resort is charming and let's the nature do the talking. Plenty of space by the infinity pool. We also came at a new moon to star gaze and was not disappointed seeing the southern cross and many shooting stars. Everything runs like clockwork with the best attention to detail - the lemongrass hot towel on the boat as you get off the sea plane. The welcome. The passionfruit arrival drink. The glass bottom in the spa where you face down for a massage and some other surprises that really delight. The spa experiences are also top notch. THANK YOU EVERYONE at Vilamendhoo.

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible resort with my family, marking our second visit after many years. The outstanding experiences here are what keep bringing us back. Below is my review based on our recent stay: Check-in/Check-out Process The entire process, from the airport to the sea-plane and boat transfers, was flawless. Right from the arrival boat transfer, the staff recognized and warmly welcomed our family. When we reached the resort, Jully greeted us personally and even addressed us by name, which made us feel truly valued. She walked us through the resort and updated us on its latest features. As returning guests, we were delighted to receive a bottle of red wine as a special gesture. The check-out process was equally seamless. Resort representatives were present at every transfer point to ensure everything went smoothly. Villa We stayed in a standalone beach villa facing the north. The villa was spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Its excellent soundproofing ensured a peaceful stay, with only the faint sound of waves breaking the silence. The air conditioning was powerful enough to keep us comfortable during the hottest days, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. While items like shavers, toothbrushes, and vanity kits are not provided by default, we were well-prepared, knowing this is a remote island resort without a mini-mart. However, they can probably be obtained from the housekeeper, too. The villa’s location was perfect, with a snorkeling reef exit just a short walk away and a stunning beach right in front. The turquoise waters were mesmerizing, and the occasional sight of sea planes landing and taking off added a unique charm. House Reef Like many reefs worldwide, this one has experienced coral bleaching due to global warming, especially in the warmer shallow waters near the beach. In 2014, I remember vibrant corals and abundant marine life, including stingrays and blacktip reef sharks, closer to shore. Now, the vibrant corals and diverse marine life are mostly found at the reef drop-off, where the water is cooler. During our snorkeling adventures, we encountered a variety of colorful reef fish, blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, and even a sea turtle. Food We chose the full-board package and enjoyed all our meals at the Funama Restaurant. The food was outstanding, with a different international theme every day. We were spoiled for choice and particularly loved the curries and Maldivian-style dishes. Special Mentions A big thank you to Jully for arranging the perfect villa for our family and for her exceptional hospitality. She truly made our stay unforgettable. We also want to express our gratitude to: Lamiu, who ensured our villa was spotless and refreshed twice a day. Rifath, Shah, and Chandana at the restaurant for their attentive and friendly service. A special shoutout to Rifath, who impressed us with his energy, efficiency, and quick service. This resort continues to exceed our expectations, and we look forward to returning for another memorable stay in the future.

We had a wonderful week on Vilamendhoo last week. We are a couple with a baby boy (1,5 yrs). We selected this island because of the house reef, hidroplane transfer and its detailed homepage. We had a standalone beach villa on the north side with a great view. The island is very nice when it comes to the vegetation and the number and sort of fishes in the water. I had just one small disappointment with the turtle excursion starting time. It was at 14:00 in the printed materials but it started at 9:00 thus I did not have the chance to join. Also it would be nice to have a kids corner with supervision to have some free time without the baby. Babysitting service possibility was not mentioned during the checking process. The staff however made great job continuously. They did their best to make the vacation unforgettable. Special thanks to Ibrahim, Shiyaz, Suchulu and Phamila in the restaurant, Ayaaz who kept our room clean and also thanks to the barist in the Boashi bar. It was a really great vacation!

This was our first trip to the Maldives and we loved everything about this resort. It's said to have one of the best house reefs in the Maldives and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The amount of sea life was beyond amazing - sea turtles, rays, sharks, eels, and thousands of colorful fish. We spent much of our time snorkeling and saw something new each time. Please use reef safe sunscreen and take care not to damage the coral in order to keep this reef in pristine condition. We stayed in a jacuzzi beach villa which was only steps from the water. The room had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. Because of our room, we were able to eat in the adults only restaurant which is a buffet for all meals. We found the food to be exceptional and varied. We were very pleased. There are 2 a la carte restaurants. We did eat at Asian Wok for one meal and it was also amazing. We sat waterside and watched the fish as we ate. We chose to do all inclusive which for us was a great option. I'm already looking forward to returning.

We visited the beautiful Vilamendhoo Island and spa sometime ago and we absolutely loved everything about it... The only way to describe it is, it is very luxurious. The sea plane was a lot of fun and a great start to the holiday. We stayed on an all inclusive basis for 2 weeks. The food was incredible from the morning till late. The food preparation was faultless and we could see a lot of skill went into this. We stayed in a garden room villa, by the sea and enjoyed chatting to the guy who raked the sand early each morning, he often climbed the trees to fetch us a fresh coconut! We loved the open air bathroom where we felt connected to nature. I was happy that there are no spiders or snakes on the Island! We enjoyed the luxurious spa and the short walks to the Asian Wok restaurant. The excursions were brilliant. We decided to take a boat trip to a local Island, this was so educating and gave so much insight into how the local Maldivian people live. We experienced the sunset cruise, very romantic! and we were taken to Robinson Crusoe Island, this was probably the best part of the holiday for us. We visited in the last week of August, first week in September and the weather was hot. We did have one cloudy day with light rain but this was quite refreshing. The two swimming pools were lovely, we especially liked the pool in the center of the Island as it was surrounded by palm trees and we had it to ourselves most of the time. We enjoyed kayaking around the Island and seeing the marine life. If you are considering visiting this Island, do it, it is faultless and a place you must experience.

We had amazing time there, we have travelled a lot and must admit this resort is from far the best in terms of customer service and quality. Everything was perfect , from the water villa room cleanliness and service , employees are very nice all of them, the quality of food is extraordinary (special mention to the restaurant where we have been amazed and Totem bar)! This is the place to be ! The only small detail if we had to find one (minor) is the animation at night which are not very dynamic. Otherwise I recommend 1000% this resort!! I wish to Come back !

"Once in a lifetime a trip to paradise" has long been on our bucket list. Constance Moofushi is „the paradise“ we definitely want to visit again, so it will remain on our bucket list ;-). We were overwhelmed by the island's beauty down to the last detail, the seaplane flight over the islands (an absolute highlight!) and the perfection of service, friendliness, and warmth of the entire Moofushi team. Upon arrival at Male airport, we were personally greeted and escorted to the wonderful Moofushi lounge, where we were greeted with cooling towels and a welcome drink. When the seaplane landed on the island, we were warmly welcomed by the reception team and personally greeted in the welcome lounge. We spent 5 nights in a beach villa and 2 nights in a senior water villa, which was a perfect combination for us - both were so beautiful and special. Everything - beach, villa, bars, restaurants,... - is super clean, well-maintained, and lovingly designed down to the last detail. Every spot on the island is an absolute "place to be." Despite the fact that the island was apparently fully booked, it was never overcrowded and far far from mass tourism. The food and drink selection is very diverse, fresh, and extremely delicious. The artfully crafted, exclusive dishes combined with the perfect ambiance and service in the à la carte restaurant were an absolute highlight! On top of all that, the island also boasts a beautiful, intact reef where you can snorkel wonderfully. Thanks to the perfect evening advice on the wine selection, thanks to Ricky and Ali for the warm conversations, thanks to all the staff who were always there for us, and thanks to the management who repeatedly checked in on our well-being! Fabulous stay at Moofushi! We have just returned from an amazing two week stay at The Constance Moofushi, the experience was the best we have had in The Maldives, without a doubt. The 'vibe' of the island is laid back and extremely relaxed, with nothing being too much trouble for the entire team there. The food and drink selection was incredible, with over a dozen pages of wines available that are included within the 'all inclusive ' package. We stayed in an 'over water' villa, which was light, airy and luxurious - all we ever wanted. What set this island apart from others (10+ we have stayed at), was the calm atmosphere coupled with the general 'feel' of the resort, luxury without being formal and oppressive/stuffy. We will certainly be looking to return there, congratulations to Mevin and the whole team for making our stay so memorable!!

I’ve visited quite a few places across the Maldives, but nothing compares to Constance Moofushi. We were there in September and honestly? It was paradise. The food was excellent, the service genuinely warm, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Add to that a fantastic wine list including champagne, as much as your heart desires. Only breakfast is champagne-free… but hey, that’s probably for the best. 😉 We loved it so much that we’ve already booked our next big holiday there. Can’t wait to be back in September! If there’s one tiny thing to mention: while the in-room Nespresso machine is a nice touch, I’m a big fan of real espresso made with a portafilter machine. It would be amazing if the bars used those instead of capsules – but then again, when that’s your only complaint, it says a lot about how exceptional the place really is.

This is absolutely the best resort in Maldives. The people make all the difference - friendly, genuine and attentive. The experience and memories created are priceless, from island treasure hunt, immaculate coffee and movie nights. The food at all the restaurants are exquisite and delicious. It is amazing how many chefs this resort has. The beauty of the nature is stunning - from sunsets to blue lagoons and even the dancing sea grass. Highly recommended for families and couples.

We came to Lux for my sisters 30th birthday and it’s sad to say that we had a very bad experience. The hospitality was very poor and the guest services too. We landed at 7 am in the morning which the staff had been informed prior but our sea plane was booked for 1030 am even though there were earlier departures, on landing we informed our guest service person to book us on all activities that involved snorkeling and we had even emailed them regarding that a week prior, while some activities got cancelled cause of the weather a lot of others we were told were already fully booked even before they letting us know about it. The manager and the team could barely help us with anything besides saying we’ve already mentioned you can’t be on it. We had also informed them regarding my sisters 30th but nothing was done for her on arrival.We were asked to go to the “celebration desk” which was either empty or super busy to even tell them to give us a cake for her bday, till we actually took this up and they later did arrange. I mentioned on arrival that I’m allergic to potatoes despite that on the second last day something was served to me which had potatoes and I got a proper hive attack and they had to summon a doctor to give me medicines and take down a report. Again the doctor was helpful but why must one have to go through this. Must say The staff at the restaurant and the spa were good, options overall in the resort were also very good. The all inclusive package includes the most basic alcohol like Smirnoff and absolute. Before coming we again kept emailing them and called them to let us know the complete beverages and food menu that comes in the inclusive deal since I was allergic and vegetarian but no one replied to that part and we come here and realize that it’s that basic. One comes to Maldives for great hospitality, water sports, beaches and to celebrate special occasions. Anything you call to request the front desk or the guest manager also, the only reply is we are sorry we can’t arrange for it. I booked a cycle one day and the cycle was given sans the code which they said you’ll get on what’s app but didn’t get that either. Either the staff was very busy taking care of others or just not interested, whichever it is, we we’re definitely expecting more from our experience and surprisingly extremely disappointed with the entire experience of being treated unfairly.

We stayed at LUX South Ari Atoll* for six unforgettable days — and it was truly amazing! From the amenities to the wide range of activities, everything was thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, relaxation, and fun. The restaurants and food were exceptional — every meal was a treat! A special thank you to Mixe Restaurant for the wonderful dinners and the kind, attentive service every day — it really made our experience extra special. A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our stay so memorable. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. Special thanks to Shawkat, the baggy rider, who memorized every guest at the resort — mashallah, such a kind soul! Deep appreciation to the clinic team, especially Dr. Ali, for their care and support. Thank you to Ahmed from the Lagoon Bar for the great service. And a very special thank you to Dominic, who was with me on my first ocean dive — it was an unforgettable experience and I truly had an amazing time! We have been to several other Maldives resorts. They have all been far superior to what we experienced at Lux. If your budget can stretch to other resorts, stretch it. Here is a sample of the nonsense we dealt with at Lux. At the suggestion of Lux staff, and with their guidance, we booked restaurants weeks before arriving. Upon arrival, we were told “oh [particular restaurant] is closed on Mondays which is when you’ve booked, so you need to book something else.” And then I was told the other restaurants – all of them – would only be bookable subject to other bookings. Surely when Lux screwed up by allowing us – ENCOURAGING us - to book a closed restaurant, Lux should be sorting out the problem, and Lux should be prioritising a replacement booking for us? We were given no information on activities. When we ASKED for information on “activities and prices” we were given some information on fishing, without pricing, and no other information. We then had to follow up a few times and were eventually sent a table showing the week’s scheduled activities and also pricing. Just bizarre that that wasn’t sent initially. Snorkelling gear must be returned daily – you can’t keep it overnight even if you’re there for eg a week. There are smokers and ashtrays everywhere. We asked at the ice cream shop how much ice creams cost. The employee went to the cash register, played with the screen for a long time, and then finally said “five hundred dollars”. He repeated that number when we asked him to clarify. We booked bikes in advance (something I would strongly recommend given the island is a mile long and the shuttle runs only “every 20-25 minutes”). But the bikes were not at our room when we got there. They only arrived much later and they were each locked up with a combination lock that we didn’t have the code for. We had to request the codes and finally got them – only to discover that the bikes are utterly atrocious pieces of junk. Despite that, and despite it being a private island, we were told we had to lock the bikes at all times. Doing so meant getting our hands filthy in the filthy wheels / chains. The kids club has a room which we watched some kids lock themselves in, followed by the sole employee then repeatedly demanding they unlock it - unsuccessfully so for quite a while. Some food costs are insane – eg US$25++ for two small rice paper rolls. We had a large charge on our account that we did not recognise and so queried. Bizarrely, our contact denied it was on the account. So WE then had to send her a copy of the account that Lux itself had issued to us (!!!). Our contact then said she would check the charge. We didn’t hear back. So the next morning, with checkout impending, we had to yet again follow up several times, after which we eventually received a copy of the items comprising the charge. It was not our charge. We have been to several other Maldives resorts. They have all been far superior to what we experienced at Lux. If your budget can stretch to other resorts, stretch it.

We recently visited the Maldives and had the pleasure of staying at LUX South Ari Atoll* — and what an unforgettable experience it was! We just came back from a family vacation and it was truly a wonderful experience. The place is absolutely beautiful, with a privileged location that lets you explore the underwater world up close – if you enjoy snorkeling, this spot is a real paradise. From the very first moment, we felt warmly welcomed. The staff is lovely: always greeting you with a smile and paying attention to every detail. We were especially impressed with how carefully they handled food allergies, even preparing special dishes so that everyone could enjoy meals with peace of mind. The housekeeping service deserves special recognition: the young man in charge was extremely kind and left our room spotless every single day, quickly and efficiently, which made it easy to fully relax and unwind. On top of that, both the staff and the other guests created a very pleasant, calm, and family-friendly atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to relax, escape from the daily routine, and enjoy quality time together. While the activities offered are not many, the ones available are fun and add to the overall experience. All in all, this is a destination I would 100% recommend, whether you’re traveling as a family or as a couple, to enjoy a holiday you’ll always remember with a big smile

Seriously, NH Maldives blew my sisters and me away! From the moment we arrived and left, we felt incredibly welcome and looked after, thanks to their truly great hospitality. We enjoyed every single moment and felt completely safe throughout our stay, which was so reassuring. The food was out of this world with amazing variety – every dish was delicious! They even had the chef personally come chat about my allergies, which was just next-level service. Beyond the incredible eats, the diving center was fantastic, and I even did a snorkeling trip with the manager, who was an absolute pro! The underwater world there is breathtaking. For pure relaxation, the spa was also great, and the hotel itself offer fantastic activities like local island visit, yoga and meditation right in front of the sea, which for us was the perfect way to start the day. NH Maldives is genuinely the ultimate spot if you're dreaming of a luxurious getaway with delicious food, top-notch service, amazing underwater adventures, and pure relaxation. We can't recommend it enough!

Wow, what a destination! From arrival to departure, nothing was too much for the staff. The rooms/villas are stunning, the staff so helpful and the housekeeping was totally amazing. Our guy Mutarah kept the place spotless twice a day- what a legend! Thank you! Also Joseph, so helpful and ready to assist with anything, and Nishan for the yoga and meditation sessions. And great to meet Michael (the hotel manager) and Monika his charming partner over cocktails and canapes. We have so many great memories to take home with us, I can't recommend this place enough. Points we loved : 1. Our stay there was absolutely amazing. 2. The resort is excellently maintained and feels luxurious. 3. All rooms have a private pool, which was excellent. 4. The property is very nicely maintained, and the housekeeping folks do a great job. 5. The food variety was really good. Almost every dish was superb, especially the live counter, the Indian food counter, and the desserts. 7. The seaplane experience was very nice. 8. The folks in the bar are very friendly and provide swift service. Point we hated : In the main restaurant, two staff members displayed a noticeable disdain for serving Indian guests. They were amiable towards everyone except for Indians. On one occasion, one of them approached me and sarcastically asked if I was having "a second dinner!" This behaviour dampened our spirits on multiple occasions. While I recognise that writing this review may not lead to any changes, I felt compelled to share my experience.

One of the finest resort in Maldivies. The food and service was exceptional. Food was amazing and kids from 2 to adults could enjoy them. The variation was amazing and it was simply the best. Beach front and water front both were amazing stay with privacy. The private pools and jacuzong was added bonus. There is a small clinic and a souvenir shop too.

I truly expected much better from Lily Beach Maldives. My first email took an entire week to receive a reply, which was surprising for a resort of this level. When I finally got a response, it lacked the professionalism and attentiveness I would expect from a five-star property. I sent a second follow-up email, and unfortunately, I never heard back. We stayed in Veligandu for a week and it was the best holiday we've ever had. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail. It has an incredible atmosphere and smiling staff. Especially Julia helped us a lot in every way. I also wanted to thank her from here. The food was perfect, the chefs were great and I have a sensitive stomach and it didn't bother me at all. The diving team was also perfect. It was a great experience. I definitely recommend it. We stayed in the ocean villa, the view was beautiful and the cleaning was very good. I have to rate this stay 4 out of 5. We did a last minute booking and ended up on a boat transfer from MLE to the veligandu resort. My wife is pregnant and it was a really bumpy ride to the resort and we were never offered a seaplane which is hard to understand when there’s only 20usd price difference. I would say it’s a lack of attention from the hotel staff not offering the option especially with a pregnant lady. We stayed in the overwater ocean pool villa and apparently the AC shuts off when the door to the balcony isn’t locked. We were both so tired after the long flight(s) that we ended up asking the butler to come and check the AC and fell asleep, but there was no response until the next day and basically we felt suffocated because of the heat and had a horrible nights sleep for the first night. Next day we fixed the problem ourselves as we realised the door was just closed and not locked but it would have been great with some assistance from the hotel staff. Last complaint is from the flies on our room! We asked for pest control 3 days in a row due to the amount of flies in the new villas! Imaging paying so much money for these fancy villas and having to deal with flies everyday. It’s beyond my understanding that we were never offered any other room available at the resort, it’s just unacceptable if you ask me for the money you are paying. Also the hotel staff never apologised for the inconvenience. The resort is beautiful, newly renovated, food is amazing, house reef is nice too. We saw sharks, manta rays, turtles etc Gym is also great and has good staff

We had an amazing week, beyond words. The buffet is definitely a highlight: very high quality and diverse food, we looked forward to it every day. Especially the cake section, and the different cuisines! The house reef is not great but I knew that before booking - the snorkeling excursions more than make up for it, on the nurse sharks and turtle ones we were taken to some amazing reef nearby. The ocean centre staff goes above and beyond to make sure they find you that sealife. We also got to see plenty of marine life from our deck, sting rays, eagle rays, black tip sharks and jellyfish. We stayed in a sunset ocean villa and it was absolute perfection, it has a net where I spent many hours looking at the water. We tried the pool villas as well, but much preferred the original ones which involve less walking, feel closer to the water and just look gorgeous. Also loved the yoga pavilion, the gym and the massages. Spent a lot of time researching resorts and I chose Veligandu mainly because it seemed to tick most of my boxes, and it did - small size to not feel crowded and walkable everywhere, amazing food, gorgeous beach area, a range of activities and excursions, beautiful ocean villas, and reasonable price for what you get. Overall an amazing stay I will remember for the rest of my life, thank you for all the experiences!

It was perfect vacation in my life ever before. The manage team was well organized and they feedback all the things very quickly. And all the staffs are so kind that we do not have any annoying things. The room was so clean and neat. Beach is right below our room, so we can snoculing by ourselves easily. Even though we don't have own equipment, ocean center has borrow it. It was really great experience with my honey, and I'll revisit later.

Had the most incredible & unforgettable experience at Constance Halaveli — from start to finish, Constance Halaveli offers the perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and natural beauty. The water villa was beautifully arranged, complete with a private pool overlooking the ocean. It offered total privacy and comfort, and the view was simply unforgettable. Every detail was thoughtful and luxurious. What really sets this resort apart is the exceptional service — the staffs are warm, attentive, and genuinely go above and beyond. You’ll feel like royalty from the moment you arrive. The all-inclusive package is 100% worth it. It includes unlimited cocktails, wine (French, Italian, South African, New Zealander etc.), beer (Lion, Peroni, Corona, Tiger etc.), and even champagne at lunch and dinner, plus a daily customizable minibar refill. It made the entire stay feel effortless and indulgent. The food is another highlight. There are three excellent restaurants: Jing – a fine dining Asian fusion experience over the water, perfect for a romantic evening. Meeru – an open-fire grill right on the beach where you can dine with your toes in the sand. Jahaz – the buffet restaurant that changes its theme and food lineup every night, so it’s always fresh and exciting. The gym is spacious and well-equipped, ideal for anyone looking to stay active during their stay. Can’t wait to return — this place is truly special.

This is a review long over due😅 We visited from Taiwan, Constance Halaveli is so beautiful and well maintained! So clean and spacious. Food is delicious and they change the food style daily. Service is impeccable. Personnel from the kids club Gigi, Juwita, Mamodha and Hauma,to guest service Diana and Hassan and everyone are all very friendly and attentive. They earned and deserve their 5 star rating! Constance Halaveli Maldives is a must visit !

We were spending our honeymoon at Constance Haleveli in the maldives. Our stay here has been nothing but extraordinary from the first minute. It is a small but beautiful island with smooth white beaches and crystal clear waters in every shade of blue and turquoise. The resort is 16 years old, and while there are some renovations going on, our villa was in very good shape, always clean and maintained. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped with everything you would ever need at an island getaway. We enjoyed fantastic food at each of the three restaurants, one of which even being a true fine dining restaurant in the middle of the ocean - Jing. Even though we are not the biggest buffet style fans, we enjoyed every single buffet we attended at Jahaz, our most favorite one being the Indian Ocean Night, or seafood night. At Meeru we had fantastic steak and fish. While all this is easily at 5 star level already, what makes this resort extraordinary are the generous, warm and charming people here, who made sure we felt at home from the first moment we set foot on the island. The service, care and attention to detail that the staff showed us is nothing but extraordinary and the experiences they created for us were fantastic. Every single member of the staff went out of their way to make each day more memorable than the last. And while it seems unfair to only mention a few names, we want to thank a few of the beautiful, smart and warm people we met at Halaveli. Sameera charmingly managed our stay from day one and made sure there was nothing else we could ever wish for. Sam provided us with heartfelt smiles, great conversations and perfect service on every occasion. Sree, Puneet and Park were our sommeliers who upgraded every lunch and dinner with fantastic wines and interesting conversations. Every second we felt their passion for wines and we learned a lot about new fabolous wines. In general - if you have a fable for wines, Constance should definitely be on your radar as they offer truely fantastic wines and champagnes in their all inclusive package. And finally we want to mention Chef Atul - the head chef of Jing. Not only was every dish we enjoyed fron him spectacular and delicious, he also went out of his way to surprise us with new creations every day, while also entertaining us with his passion for food and fine cuisine. Fantastic! Our stay here was truly remarkable, we cannot wait to come back.

Every single employee is super friendly and helpful. The buffet restaurant offers a variety of new creations every day, and the seating is relaxed, not like the often-canteen-like atmosphere. In two set menu restaurants (Asian and Grill), you can make reservations and indulge in delicious a la carte dishes. It's also good and pleasant that, at least in the set menu restaurants, proper attire (long trousers) is required. The diving center is super friendly and accommodates all your needs: every single member of staff, including the boatmen, everyone do their best! The reef is unfortunately quite damaged, like everywhere else on the Maledives, but it's still a great place for snorkeling: blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, nurse sharks, feathertail and stingrays, eagle rays, and plenty of the usual reef fish. Unfortunately, the only reminder about coral conservation is an easily overlooked sign on the steps into the water. There should be clearly visible instructions for everyone on proper behavior in the ocean: coral-friendly sunscreen; no spray sunscreen, which, when used outdoors, 90% ends up in the environment and not on the skin; no walking on the coral! Spa treatments are very expensive—but also very luxurious. This was the most expensive couples massage of our lives so far.... The water villas are extremely beautiful and spaciously laid out. Two walk-in closets where everyone can spread out their suitcases, plenty of storage space and shelves. A well-stocked minibar, which is included in the all-inclusive package and is refilled daily.

We had an unforgettable stay at Conrad Maldives. The food was exceptional across all restaurants. Ithaa Undersea Restaurant was truly splendid—not only for its breathtaking view beneath the sea but also for the fine dining experience that felt Michelin-worthy. The other restaurants also served exceptional plates with top-quality ingredients and presentation. The lagoon was stunning, perfect for snorkeling right off the beach. Our child loved the kids’ club, which was thoughtfully run and full of engaging activities. All the staff were incredibly friendly, and our butler, Ahmed, provided professional and amazing service—arranging all our bookings and schedules with great care. If there’s one thing to be desired, it would be the pricing of food and beverages, which felt quite high even for a luxury resort. That said, everything else was finely curated for both relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend!

We arrived early again on this trip, and although our room wasn’t ready yet, the staff kindly let us rest in one of the available beach villas while we waited for about two hours. It was such a thoughtful gesture that allowed us to relax and unwind after our journey—thank you so much :) During this trip, we were looked after by Marlen, who was incredibly attentive. She updated us each day with helpful information about events or special notes—such as restaurant schedules—and she responded quickly to any requests we had. Her care and efficiency truly made our stay smoother and more enjoyable. We were a bit disappointed to hear that the resort no longer offers plush toys, but we were deeply touched when she went out of her way to find one for us. Her thoughtfulness meant so much to us. We also want to say thank you for the photography service—it gave us another beautiful memory to cherish! 🫶🏻 And to the short-haired female guide who led our scuba diving session (we’re so sorry we didn’t catch your name!)—thank you so much! It was our first time scuba diving and we were quite nervous, but she explained everything so kindly and made sure our entire family felt safe and cared for throughout the experience. We were all deeply moved ❤️ Thanks to all the wonderful staff we met at Conrad, our trip was even more joyful and memorable. My husband David and I had the best honeymoon that was humanly possible. This has been a bucket list destination for us and the Conrad was probably the most amazing brand we could have chosen to stay with. Besides Rangali island being gorgeous, the food was delicious (such elite chefs), the accommodation (villa suite with lap pool) was legendary and the staff was EXCEPTIONAL. Every. Single. One. Of.
