Me and my husband stayed for 4 nights, very relaxing hotel… rooms were very clean, food was having so many options for vegetarians too. Location is perfect. Most of the staff are very nice.

Amazing hotel !
Great location - literally on the beach . Surprisingly friendly staff - even when you stay as a last person on a breakfast or a dinner - they will be supernice - that rare. Well done for that . Food variety of food 8/10 , great grill ! Morning omelet could be faster - long queue .
.Reception most of the time rammed but pro and with a smile. Pools - clean .Bathrooms - clean ( I mean really clean ! Public bathroom in a hotel it’s a sign of good management) Animation team - the best part of the hotel. People with hearts on a hand. Top. Housekeeping flawless.
I would gladly recommend this hotel - I will be coming back for sure. That’s my second SOL after SOL Barbados on Mallorca. Worked out even better . SOL or Melià would be my 1st choice from now on. Great value for money .
Just one but … - Melià needs better photographer to catch the real highlights of that hotel .

Very nice hotel with great location by the beach. It takes about 15-20 minutes to check in one family in this hotel, so very long queues by the reception. Maybe they should do something about that. I have worked in a hotel and also stayed in lots of hotels but it has never taken so long to check in (we had no special needs or questions). After the pools close, huge seagulls and ducks come swimming, I have no idea what to do about this, but something has to be done. Lots of activities for children and adults. The kids club was fantastic with a friendly staff. They were so nice and considearate towards us and our son. The night entertainment was kind of a disapointment. Only lip syncing and dancing to songs. The pools are huge and they also have a smaller pool on the other side of the hotel, which is a little bit less crowded. We struggled to find space for the sunbeds by the pool, maybe we were the only ones obeying the rule not to reserve them. 😂 All in all there wasn’t enough room for the sunbeds by the pool. Also they need more staff to the poolbar, long queues all day long. The breakfast was my least favorite experience. It was so loud and crowded. So many things had ran out all the time, good selection though. The room was nice, no complaints. We had a family room. Good space and the shower pressure was good. We wanted late check out, but it was not possible. They had an opportunity to reserve a room for showering on the departure day for half and hour. This was such a great service. All in all a great experience.

Overall, a nice hotel. Family rooms were modern and clean and gorgeous view looking out to sea in the restaurant. I would say it’s more of a family hotel than for young people. Different pools to choose from which was nice if you wanted a more chill vibe compared to the bigger pool which is more active. Most of the staff were nice however I feel like a couple of them were a little moody.
We only ate breakfast here and I’m glad for that. Food was nothing to write home about and the restaurant was always so busy but there’s a good selection of foods.
The more relaxed pool area could do with some proper grass or astroturf putting down as it was quite muddy.
I personally wouldn’t stay here again as it wasn’t for me, however it’s still a lovely hotel and I think good for families!

This place is great! The staff are very hard-working and the pool is amazing! If you go, look out for the ducks swimming at night in the larger pools. There is a wide range of food on-offer and it is all very tasty! The family rooms are modern-looking and have a good amount of space with a decently-sized balcony.
The local area is bustling and the beach is lovely, but the sand can get very hot and it gets shingly towards the shoreline. The local buses aren't frequent and sometimes they don't go all the way! Taxis seem to be the best way to get around.
Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

.my daughter, 7 year old granddaughter and myself came here for the 2nd year at start of September.....we cannot fault one thing about this lovely hotel, from start to finish it was amazing. The rooms are adequate and very clean our room was cleaned every day and beds made....first class, The meals....well there is something for everyone to choose a very large selection and food even cooked to order is amazing.....my 7 year old granddaughter loved the pasta and the chips and the ice cream .....The entertainment staff at the kids club i can only say were absolutely amazing, they always go that extra mile and excell themselves in their amazing work, they do so much with the kids and make them feel special, one of the entertainment staff even remembered my granddaughter from last year.....now thats what i call.....amazing people.....The entertainment each night was amazing, always something different on ......and afterwards the holiday makers were involved in various fun tasks, which my daughter was always first on stage to take part.....thats what its all about....enjoying......the kids pool area where we spent most of our time is fabulous and the lifeguards are great.....we cannot fault sol palma nova one bit and we have already booked again for next September.........so dont listen to the bad reviews and dont let it put you off going to the hotel as i would recommend it to anyone with kids.......10 out 10 all over and if possible 20 out of 10 for kids entertainers, they work so hard throughout the day and night and still have smiling faces.....well done to you all...Elaine, Holly and Charlotte xx

We stayed at Sol Palmanova, Mallorca for 5 nights in October. Overall, it’s a lovely family-friendly hotel with good facilities. Most of the team were friendly and welcoming. The entertainment was fantastic, and there’s always something to eat thanks to the snack bar being open outside restaurant hours. Our second housekeeper was amazing, and the room was spotless every day.
On the downside, the token system for drinks was a bit inconvenient, and some of the hotel rules felt unnecessarily strict (like paying €1 to change beach towels). The pools were freezing cold with no indoor pool option, which was disappointing given the cooler weather. Rooms are also on the small side, and noise carries easily through adjoining doors. The food was also disappointing - much of it seemed reheated and not very fresh, especially the kids’ options like chicken nuggets and fish fingers, though the pasta and some meat dishes were decent. Some encounters with restaurant staff also felt unpleasant. Reception staff were also unhelpful during checkout and a family emergency that we experienced.

Honestly cant understand the low ratings i read before we came here.
We arrived 27th september for 7 days and couldnt fault the hotel for anything in the slightest , food was very good every day plenty of variety including deserts cheese and plain food for fussy eaters like burgers chips and pizzas were all very nice. The hotel itself was very clean the pool itself was cold as predicted but once you get in and move around its fine. The room was very basic but enough to keep your stay good very clean and everything in order only negative i would say is the small lifts and ques for the lifts but luckily we was on the 2nd floor and it didnt matter much. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the entertainment staff were a good laugh as well partook in the water aerobics and water basket ball which was fun.
To anyone looking try not to be too disheartened by any negative reviews as me and my partner had the best week going and will 100% be usijf this hotel again in the future

Absolutely shocking service from the hotel staff. We requested to move rooms due to problems with ours,we had a shower what couldn’t stay at a set temperature and would scold you very quickly I have a 6 year old child, also so many other issues, We checked in the Sunday and was told to come back Monday morning and a new room would be sorted out, again straight No we are booked come back Wednesday and promised to sort us a new room and there would be no issues, came back Wednesday to be told if we want to change rooms we have to pay €16 a night! Would rather the honesty instead of being messed around. The bar staff were rude, only decent people were the entertainment team. The hotel is overly subscribed by too many people which the hotel can’t accommodate to, food is repetitive and never changed, and it wasn’t the cleanest, our rooms only ever had a quick mop down and same bedding was kept on for 7 days..YUK and not even a wipe down of the sides,mirrors or bathroom which was even worse. We came 3 years ago to Sol and happily enjoyed, this time it was awful, standards have dropped and would not rate this hotel a 4 star, definitely not worth the money at all!

Absolutely appalling hotel , told us on arrival room ready but don't use toilet as leaking , went to room water over floor in bathroom, went down stairs said someone would be up no show ah hour later went back down to be told to repack suitcase as moving room.

Palma nova a stunning place but this hotel shouldn't be ripping holiday makers off with false advertising.
Most of the poor reviews are correct it my opinion, and the good reviews must be used to poor hotels and service.

Excellent stay at Hard Rock Marbella
The hotel was luxurious and had all needed amenities. The room size was good and very clean. Bathrooms were also spacious unlike the other european brands
Breakfast had quite a spread with live counters. Lots of dining area both indoor and outdoor.
The hotel also rests another restaurant at the pool level. Overall a good experience

We stayed in a premium room in the Sky Building and absolutely loved it.
The hotel feels modern, clean, and luxurious. The Street Food Restaurant was incredible, and the all-inclusive breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had — so fresh and tasty!
The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which really made a difference.
Pool areas were beautiful and relaxing, and the location is perfect just out of the way of noise from clubs/Restaurants bit close enough to enjoy the walk.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend Dreams Calvia Mallorca for a luxurious, relaxing getaway. 🌴✨

Really great hotel, lovely grounds and a lovely atmosphere. We went in September so I presume maybe slightly quieter than usual but plenty of sun loungers and areas to chill out in. The food was fantastic and a really good range of stuff, mostly Mediterranean and European but lots of daily changes. Really impressed with the food. Had a very relaxing few days here and so quick and easy to get to from the airport. Very friendly staff and a big shout out to the animation team - they are brilliant. I would have given 5 star but I have 2 main points that knocked it down to 4 stars.
Firstly, we had a double room but the beds were two singles pushed together and made up as singles too.
Secondly, quite a major point that I did raise with reception. On our first night here, a member of staff somehow buzzed into and came into our room in the early hours of the morning without even knocking whilst we were fast asleep. It was a real shock and we were very startled, they very quickly went after I shouted out to them. As I have said I did raise it with reception and whilst they were very understanding and apologetic, we did not really receive an explanation as to why on earth this happened. This was extremely unusual and i have never had anything like this happen before. It didn't really add up as it really isn't a true reflection on rest of our experience at the hotel. It's a fantastic hotel but this shouldn't be happening.

The rooms were absolutely beyond my expectations. Our room was incredibly spacious, with the bathroom and toilet separated, and even a dressing room, which was a huge plus. The room also had a 70-inch TV, a very practical fridge, a hairdryer, and, most impressively, a steam iron – such a thoughtful amenity for travelers.
The staff were very kind and welcoming. Patricia, in particular, greeted us with great warmth and politeness, which left us with a very positive first impression of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent – a wide variety of options, all fresh and perfectly clean, catering to different tastes.
The hotel facilities are great overall. The pool areas are spacious, the spa and fitness center are well-equipped, and the location is fantastic – very close to the beach and with easy access to the town center.
In short, this hotel offers both comfort and quality service, making it an unforgettable holiday experience. I especially recommend it for its large, modern rooms and excellent amenities. 🌴✨

Perfect is the exact word to describe this place and their team. It was my partner's first time abroad and this met and exceeded any expectations you could have for a holiday. The bar staff, specifically Joao and Javier were incredible and so approachable. They both worked the evening cocktail bar the nights we were there and what a job, they worked on their own and in the heat, always with a smile and seemed genuinely happy to be there and serving all the guests. Thank you for making it so special for my partner. The animation team were the best I have ever come across at a hotel. They remembered names and tried including us in everything. They were usually around the pool and bar area talking to guests which made it feel much more personal and fun. They were lovely people and always had so much energy. You could not fault them at all!! The rooms were beautiful all with balconies as far as we could see. They were cleaned every day and we always had fresh towels. I cannot recommend this place enough! We will be remembering this holiday for a long time so thank you to everyone we came across on our trip you were all incredible ♡ I'm sure they will remember Taylor for a long while too

Positives : Location which you can not beat, right in the middle of the small bay and stretch of nice, sandy beach.
Overall spirit of the hotel, and its great heritage, dating back 1950's, partially located in the old historical building.
Clean and well maintained facilities and the garden.

Preferred Club guests lounge - good idea but not well executed :( No proper glasses for Cava or Baileys in the lounge - it seems odd to drink Cava or Baileys from red wine glasses or tea cups ... the same like eating sandwiches using the bowls as there were never any proper plates to use. Explanations of the staff that hotel is fully booked and glasses and plates are missing because of this do not match 5 stars status of the hotel.
Car parking at 40 Euro / day ... I know it is not easy to find parking space in Paguera but who is going to pay 40 Euro for parking if daily car rental is 40 / 45 Euro ??

This is my 2nd time at this hotel. Stunning building & setting on the beachfront with lovely gardens. The staff are all great & attentive. It was our friends birthday while we were there & the guest relations helped make it special for her. Our room was a big size with incredible seafront views. I will definitely be back.

I’ll give this resort 2 stars for their 1)great staff and 2)good location and that’s being generous. I’m so disappointed with my stay at Secrets Mallorca. The air conditioning never cooled our room to the point where we couldn’t sleep at night, the room was tiny, and to top it all off we had cockroaches all over. I ended up finding one lurking around my suitcase and all over my clothes. Our phone in the room didn’t work either so every time we had an issue we had to walk to the front desk. The resort itself is nice but the room stay made for a terrible experience during our time in Mallorca. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had an oceanview suite and paid extra for the preferred club. It’s worth every penny.
The room has an amazing view and it’s very clean and comfortable.
The service is amazing thru out the hotel.
As part of the preferred club, you have a dedicated space for breakfast on a balcony by the restaurant with a wonderful buffet and also a la carte menu.
As a preferred club guest you also have access to an exclusive pool and lounge chairs right by the beach even though the hotel does not have chairs or umbrellas on the beach.
The preferred club lounge is also a very nice perk with food and drinks all day long.
We will certainly be coming back for another stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The grounds are large, green, and full of fruit trees. You can play tennis, enjoy two different pools, go for a bicycle ride, or relax in the spa. We tried a massage the experience was wonderful, and I especially want to highlight the great work of the masseuses!
Breakfasts were good, with a wide variety of dishes. In the evenings, there was live music at the hotel, which made dinners very enjoyable.
We stayed in a suite, and the room was beautiful: high ceilings, a bathtub, and very spacious overall.
Our holiday was excellent, except for one unfortunate issue. During check-out we accidentally left a bottle of champagne in the fridge. We returned to reception about 40 minutes later hoping to retrieve it, but it was not returned. The reception staff tried to look for it, but all we got were explanations that someone might have moved it somewhere and it was lost.
We have traveled a lot, and sometimes things do get forgotten. Usually, hospitality staff return them, sometimes even days later. It wasn’t about the value (it was “just” a bottle of champagne), but it made us think: what if it had been something more expensive or important?
This incident really spoiled the mood and overall impression of our stay, and we left feeling very disappointed.
(leaving this review so that future guests of this hotel are more attentive with their belongings, and so that the hotel management pays closer attention to the work of their staff)

A great place overall and a place we'd come back to, but it's missing some details.
Service at lunch is really slow. It took us nearly 2 and a half hours to get lunch and on one day our main got forgotten about. The staff were all trying their best but they could do with some more pairs of hands to spread the load would go a long way here.
The food itself was great majority of the time.
The drinks were great all the of time.
For a 5 star hotel, there was some attention to details that were missed. For example the spa pool area had jets and useable things not working or very hard to get working. But it was very clean throughout.
The rooms was great and no complains there.
The location is stunning, you won't be disappointed, taking a slow stroll around the site and finding and exploring the points of interest was a great afternoon evening activity.

An Unforgettable Stay at Zoëtry Mallorca – Truly Exceptional in Every Way
This was our first trip to Mallorca, and Zoëtry was chosen by our daughter, who had stayed here before and left with wonderful memories. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the hotel’s unique architecture that blends harmoniously with the surrounding nature. You immediately feel like you’ve arrived somewhere truly special.
For those arriving by car, there is ample parking available. We were warmly welcomed at reception with friendly smiles and a refreshing welcome drink. To our delight, our rooms were also upgraded at no extra cost—such a lovely surprise! Our upgraded room was spacious and airy, with a large bathroom and a patio in front, where we relaxed comfortably throughout our stay.
The hotel has two pools: one more suited for families with children, and the other, called the “relaxing pool,” offers a peaceful atmosphere ideal for sunbathing and unwinding. For tennis enthusiasts, there are two separate grass courts surrounded by greenery. Rackets and balls are available from reception, and if you don’t have a partner to play with, the staff can even arrange a tennis instructor for you (EUR 75/hour).
Breakfasts were excellent, with quick service and attentive, polite staff. In fact, throughout the entire resort, the staff were genuinely kind and always made us feel valued and well cared for. The management deserves real praise for running the property so well.
Although the usual checkout time is noon, our flight on the last day was late in the evening. We asked for a late checkout and were very kindly accommodated. For a small fee of EUR 20 per hour, we were able to keep our room until 6 PM, which made a big difference in our comfort on departure day.
If we return to Mallorca, we would absolutely choose to stay at Zoëtry again. It’s a wonderful, exceptionally well-run resort that we recommend without hesitation.

We were staying at El Castillo Hotel Son Vida, we heard good things about this hotel from a friend from Palma. We decided to have a look and a drink for potential future visits. We walked in the reception area and a bit of the gardens in front we barely saw any clients and couldn't find a bar or café. Beautiful building and surroundings. We decided to go have a look at the terrace next to the car parking, to which there were also no clients only a couple of staff. One of these staff members "Raul" look at what seemed lost people "us" and approached one of us. We expected some nice service and suggestions but no quite the opposite. Extremely rude and cold, telling us we do not have the right to be there if we are not guests and that it is a private property. (ok, but normally outside guests can consume other hotels restaurants and bars) even still if no outside guests were allowed we could have said it in a nice and proper way. Anyways if this is the kind of staff and service we should expected we will not be staying here for sure. We also left quite after this as we did not feel welcomed or respected.
For those looking for a peace and quite similar to this "5* star hotel" I suggest you look at Castillo Hotel Son Vida. You will see what true 5* service and staff it is.

While the grounds are nice, the rooms are very dated. We had no AC for 2 of the 3 nights and the team said they needed to get an outside group to come fix - no other explanation or help. Breakfast and dinner service was rude to boarderline aggressive. Would not reccommend for any occasion.

We were a group of 5 friends staying for a week in early October. Most of us have stayed in other Ikos resorts before and we thought this was one of the best. Great resort layout, lovely pools (especially the ‘scented’ pool - lavender plants). Really high quality food and drinks. Good gym facilities and direct access to a lovely coastal promenade/boardwalk which went for miles in either direction. Staff were fantastic - especially the team in the beach Chiringuito - thank you Nadia, Juan, Vicky, Darko and all the team!
Beach itself is not great sand and access to the sea for swimming is very stony - but Ikos cannot control the natural landscape! :) Overall we had a fantastic week and highly recommend the resort!

What can I say? THE best hotel we have stayed in many a year. As soon as we entered reception, all staff tried to make eye contact in order to help us check in. Absolutely not the norm in all other places. Lots of pools, service at the pools. Even someone comes around to clean your sunglasses. Food excellent. Service by staff exceptional. Location and views beautiful. Simply amazing and we will be back.

We are currently here on honeymoon with our two children and Eva and all of the heroes kids club ladies are just phenomenal. They have made this trip for us and I would recommend this resort for so many reasons as the service and kindness we received when they realised we were on our honeymoon has been above and beyond what we ever expected but the quality of the staff in the kids club is definitely one of the stand outs for us. Beautiful resort and rooms are lovely and spacious. We had the deluxe room with the private pools and restaurant which was worth it and so nice tk have with kids. The food was much better than expected and the low depth of the pools made it so nice and easy to relax as we knew our toddler wouldn’t be able to get into trouble with how shallow the pools were. Some restaurants and food were better than others but overall great and having the buffet as an option was nice when we needed a quick meal.

Our recent stay at Ikos Andalusia was truly exceptional, exceeding all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the attentiveness and genuine friendliness of every single staff member. Nothing was too much trouble, and their dedication to ensuring a perfect holiday was clear to see.
We want to give special shout-outs to a few individuals who made our stay even more memorable: Bea at the ice cream hut by the family pool was amazing everyday, Tomas the pool waiter was incredibly efficient and friendly, and Laura, Mercedes, and Isabel from the kids' club were fantastic with our daughter. An extra special mention must go to Anita from Guest Services. She was absolutely incredible throughout our stay, going above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed.
We are parents of an autistic daughter, so finding a hotel with suitable facilities is paramount, and Ikos Andalusia was absolutely perfect for her. The entire resort, from the pool areas to the dining options, felt incredibly accommodating. The kids' club, in particular deserves immense praise. They were extremely understanding and accommodating of her needs, and nothing was too big of an ask. This level of support truly allowed us to relax and enjoy our holiday knowing our daughter was happy and well-cared for.
We cannot recommend Ikos Andalusia enough! This hotel is a true gem, and we will absolutely be back at the next possible opportunity. Thank you for an unforgettable family holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was tasty with plenty of options, and the surroundings were absolutely stunning. There are many fun activities, especially for children, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, a beautiful place for a relaxing and family-friendly vacation. We also tried the spa and it was an incredible experience. The massage with Ioana was outstanding — deeply therapeutic and truly released all muscle tension. I also had a facial treatment that left my skin clean, refreshed, and glowing. A day at the spa here is worth every moment, everything feels luxurious and relaxing.

Stayed at the Blau Punta Reina for a wellbeing retreat hosted by PilatesCore (Upminster) and Alley’s Yoga (Maldon) from Friday - Monday.
The hotel itself is located in a fantastic place with access to two beaches both a short distance away. The facilities of the hotel were lovey; plenty of sunloungers around all pools, a very functional gym and studio area which were great for what we used it for. The hotel staff were all welcoming and accommodating throughout.
The spa staff were also amazing throughout the weekend!
The only disappointment was that there was no tea / coffee facilities in the room, and breakfast didn’t open until 0730, which meant not being able to have a cup of coffee before our sunrise classes.

Had a nice experience at this hotel. Room was somewhat small, it had no kettle, which I thought was a standard. I would maybe expect something more from a room called 'superior'. The cleaning service timeline was really hard to comprehend as they would come basically at any time during the day if you forget to put the "please don't disturb" on your door.
Didn't speak much with the animation team, but they seemed friendly. The cook named Frank was a really nice guy. Always trying to strike up a nice conversation when people are waiting for their eggs to fry. Hotel nice, could be better, but the dining experience was awesome. Thanks Frank 💙
And the cats were cute, please more cats.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The property is well-maintained with a beautiful territory. The food was good, with a nice variety. The rooms are a bit dated, but overall comfortable. The location is great, with convenient parking and stunning beaches nearby. There are kids’ programs and evening shows, which our children really enjoyed. Overall, a good experience for a family vacation.

We are just finishing a lovely week at this hotel! Having come for a long weekend last year I knew I wanted to come back! Brought my mum and there is a lovely Irish community in the area as well as such friendly and helpful staff that really can’t do enough for you! The location for the beach and restaurants is perfect! The promenade is a beautiful walk and there’s something for everyone! Highly recommend and will definitely be back again!! Thanks for having us

Have been going here every year for the past 13 years with my family and it has something for everyone. Some want the pool, some want the beach and others enjoy walking the promenade. Loads of restaurants near by. Staff are always so helpful and accommodating when they can. Rooms have been upgraded massively over the years and very modern now. Showers are great quality. The fold out bed in the apartments are very comfortable and there’s plenty of space including a large balcony. Looking forward to our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sol Puerto Marina and the entertainment for the kids was really good. Raul in particular is a really nice guy and was excellent with the kids keeping them entertained during the day by the pool and with the disco and shows at night. The new outdoor gym area was also really good.

We arrived at the hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and found a very welcoming atmosphere in the hotel. We were presented with a complimentary bottle of sparking wine to help us celebrate which was a pleasant surprise. We had a problem with the hand basin in the bathroom which was corrected within the hour. Our room, was good and we had no problem with loungers. All in all lovely hotel,and staff.

Great hotel, the staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms were spotless and we got fresh towels whenever we needed them. The entertainment team and staff around the pool were great and not too pushy. They let us know about the entertainment and they were so upbeat and got everyone involved. We couldn't fault them and we will definitely be back. The beach is directly out the back entrance and the hotel even have an Ice cream parlor facing the beach. Everything was within walking distance

We stayed here from 3rd - 16th September. We really loved this hotel, the staff were lovely and so friendly, particularly in the pool bar. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the food was great. My boyfriend loved the breakfasts. We went as a couple, but if you are a couple, or family with kids then the pool and activities are brilliant. Loved it and will come back. Also there was a really nice chilled vibe.......didn't want to go home. But will definitely recommend.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location is perfect — less than a five-minute walk from the beach and close to all the main attractions, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were beautifully maintained, cozy, and cleaned thoroughly every day.
The staff truly made my stay exceptional. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. A special shout-out to the security man — such a wonderful person who made me feel safe and welcome throughout my stay. His positive energy and professionalism really stood out!
Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. Excellent service, a great atmosphere, and an unbeatable location. I’ll definitely be returning to this hotel!

Food is bland, cold and samey, microwave available for reheating, if you want to wait in the queue? Entertainment is very low key, several days of rain this week no Entertainment indoors in the day when weather is bad. Lots of just sitting around waiting for the rain to stop, could of done with some music videos on a screen.
Drinks over priced and different bar staff,charging different prices. Wi-Fi is good in the downstairs areas rubbish upstairs in the rooms. Would visit again if I could have room only and eat out.

We stayed here for six nights at the end of September, which is the end of the season. We liked the hotel, but I don't think it deserves four stars. The staff are pleasant, helpful and respond quickly to requests. The food was not bad, but for some reason it was always cold.
The rooms are nice, albeit small, and the air conditioning works perfectly!
The cleaning staff are also very responsive, but for some reason they don't wash anything, don't change the bedding, they just change the towels, wipe the table, change the ashtray and take out the rubbish.
The only thing that marred our holiday was that for three nights in a row, our neighbours on the same floor tried to break down our door, drunk, banging and shouting. We didn't call reception because we didn't see the point.
Otherwise, the hotel is not bad, but personally, I didn't like the cold food. But the price-quality ratio is just great!

We are just finished our stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are so friendly. The rooms are clean. Each day we did not want a room clean so I asked the cleaner on level 7 for fresh towels she was always so nice and smiling I do not know her name but she is a credit to the hotel.
The room was modern, only issue was the water from the shower coming out on to the floor but I find this with many hotels it is starting to make the door at the bottom rust away.
Overall I would definitely visit again I can’t complain about one thing. Thank you for a great stay.

The first time I've been on holiday and had nothing to complain about. Very friendly and helpful staff, rooms are cleaned daily and to a very good standard.
Plenty to do for the children and the beach is a short walk away, loads of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Great holiday, family of 5, 2 children aged 10 months and 3 years. Thank you 😊

Came with a family of 6 for 10 days. Cleanliness amazing. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding. Cleaners very friendly. Always plenty of food but very repetitive as expected with an all inclusive. Be aware of the plates as they get very hot. My husband burnt his hand on a plate which came up in a massive blister luckily it wasn’t a child.
Lifts are a nightmare, 3 lifts for the whole hotel and they’re tiny. Not so bad if you’re on the lower floors but horrendous if you need to get to a higher level.
The slide pool is lethal. The flooring is not appropriate for children. If you go to the slide pool ensure your child has slip shoes. Several people were falling over and all they’ve put up is wet floor signs. On 1 slide 2 people cracked their heads open and several people had cracked their head open by the side of the pool from slipping, 1 including my daughter who then had to go to the hospital for stitches. Life guards were amazing and dealt with her absolutely amazingly but the flooring is lethal.
Main pool is lovely and clean plenty of activities throughout the day but the lifeguards aren’t the greatest. Paying barely any attention on doing their job as they just stand there talking to each other. No inflatables allowed so don’t bring them with you. All your allowed is a baby ring or arms bands which isn’t the greatest but I would bring a first aid kit as we have seen at least 10 people slip just from walking.
Due to our daughters accident we brought her a ring that was accepted as she had her head injury and wasn’t allowed to have her head under water. She used this for a week no problems then one day we had a very rude life guard come up to her and told her to get out of the pool as she wasn’t allowed this. We queried this with the manager as we had been using this for a week to then be told they had an inspection and the rules have changed. No notice or signs had been put up to notify guests of this. Will not be returning to this hotel.

Great hotel, had all-inclusive booked in xtra room sea view. Room clean and got everything needed. Mattrass could be renewed. Great location, 5-10 min by foot to beach. 2 pool sides but a little noisy, was hoping for a little bit less kids noise and loud music (esp during animation) on one side. Food was good, but got a little repetative after a few days. Fruit was unfortunately mostly unripe. Good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

We had 10 days holiday in Sol Barbados with husband and 3.5 year old child . I requested lower floor and we got first floor ,which I was very happy and our room was facing to road ,which was again great as I would say that was the quite part . Location is absolutely great ,close to beautiful beach , restaurants,bar and shops . Bus stop 5 min. away . Kids pools are great ,we had a lots of fun on a slides and everywhere was enough sunbeds (no sunbeds war 😃) clean area and enough life guards . Now kids club ....that's probably the best part of our holiday ,the staff is more than fantastic,I would like to name it Sofia ,Marta,Natalia,Sheila ,Naty and Nacho (apologies If I forgot someone ,all guys has been amazing ) from reception I would like to mention Carla,she was very friendly and from bar area that was Jesus who look after us very well .
The only down part was the food ,I will give rating 6/10 that definitely could be better but nothing horrible like some people describe.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for families as kids club made our holiday 5*.

The reception staff are very friendly and their service is excellent.
Housekeeping is great — our room was cleaned daily, and the bathroom towels were changed unless we requested not to have the room serviced that day.
The hotel is very family-friendly and suitable for those with children. There are evening activities on stage and also pool activities during the day.
The bar service is excellent and the staff are patient even during busy times.
The food is clean and varied, offering seafood, fish, chicken, beef, pork, and also vegetables and drinkes.
However, I would rate the quality 7.5/10.
The room was comfortable and nice, with excellent soundproofing. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
The beach is about five minutes away.
The negative points:
• The elevator is crowded, especially during peak hours or mealtimes.
• Sometimes when entering the buffet, you have to wait a few minutes for families to be organized and the crowd managed.
• Also, the bathroom door in our room was old and difficult to close.
But overall, it was a good experience, and I would visit again.

It is not the solana.
It's busy. The staff can be rude. But considering how the tourist treat them im not surprised.
Food is average bit samey but fresh and plentiful. The pool All inclusive food area was really good and where we got most of our lunches from.
Love the eco side of the hotel. Ribbon bands and a coin system from the pool bars for the reusable cups.
Perhaps now need to have water stations to stop the plastic bottles.
Rooms where cleaned every day.
The walls are paper thin and it does sound like people are at yr door. But they are not.
Remember this is Benidorm 30seconds from the Stripe.
Entertainment nightly and good wot you would expect to be fair wot I see was people having a drink befor hitting the town.
Seen a lot of unfair reviews if you want better then pay the money and go 4 star.

I stayed here for 3nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed my stay!
The hotel is modern, clean, very large and roomy, easy check in and the rooms were perfect and came with a balcony!
The main pool is amazing, it's huge with lots of seating & made to be tropical with palm trees and plants!! The pool is huge with different sections and the pool bar is fast service with plenty of drinks options!
The breakfast was 8.30-10.30 worn plenty of seating and lots of breakfast options: English breakfast, pancakes, Salamis and cheese and breads and donuts! 10/10.
The location is brilliant!! There is a store next door to the hotel to get drinks and snacks, also next door is an indoor market which sells bags/clothes & baguettes and cakes!
A 3minute walk away you are directly on the strip where every bad is a different theme and busy, along with clubs!
The beach is very close and can be seen from the balcony around a 5minute walk!! Golden sands and blue water!!
I would recommend staying here! 10/10!

What a fab week! The hotel was super clean. The rooms were comfy, we had bedding changed daily, new towels daily. Everything was perfect. The food was lovely, lots to choose from.
There was so much to do throughout the hotel daily, so many activities for adults and children. There was entertainment on every evening which was suitable for all ages.
The staff at the kids club were outstanding, they were so attentive and kind.
The pool was huge, it was amazing!
I highly recommend this hotel and its service.

The hotel is three-star and okay, but I wouldn’t recommend visiting during peak season. It has two buildings, so check which one your room is in. With so many rooms and guests, service suffers, especially cleanliness and food quality. The beach nearby is rocky and not suitable for swimming. The pool is nice, but can feel crowded. For the price, better four- or five-star options are available.

A clean hotel with comfortable rooms, a large clean pool area with activities throughout the day and a good selection of food in the restaurant. The staff were friendly throughout the hotel.
The only negative is the long check in times. The hotel puts no extra staff on the front desk when coaches arrive and queues do not clear quickly. It took us over 40mins from being dropped off to completing check in.
Overall we had a positive stay and would return.

Overall a great hotel with very good facilities. Staff were always very helpful with great communication.
Just a couple of points to improve the experience at the hotel.
It would be good to have the beach bar open later until sunset, or even as an evening option as the lobby bar decor and layout lacks atmosphere.
There needs to be more staff at the lobby bar, or another bar for the evening. The queues are too long in the evening.
Obviously more staff could mean higher price but it would be worth it.
Please place more sand in the beach volleyball court. It is too hard.

Service was brilliant, food was fantastic. Great area around the swimming pools. Large open grounds. All inclusive drinks were great. Only 1 issue, No Bloody Mary cocktails on the All inclusive, you have to pay for it, but you can get a Vodka and Tomato juice, which is 99% the cost of a Bloody Mary 🙈 overall we had a great stay, rooms were fab.

Just came back from a short break with my daughters and we had the best time. The location isn't ideal if you want to get out and about but we just wanted somewhere to relax, swim and have fun so it was perfect for that.
The food options were great, some of the best I've experienced as a vegetarian at an all inclusive. Everything was well labelled too.
The entertainment team are fantastic and work so hard. My girls did some kids club activities and had great fun and the extra pool activities were fantastic. We loved The Greatest Showman show!
The pools in general are lovely, though some of the sun loungers could do with a clean. My kids loved the splash park.
We were also impressed by the accessibility of the hotel.
The rooms were clean and we had a lovely a view.
Sadly I didn't catch the name of the man on reception who checked us in but when we arrived dreary after delays at nearly 4am his friendly greeting and speedy service was so appreciated and reassured us we had made a great choice.
We will definitely be back for a longer visit next year!

We recently stayed at this hotel in Marbella and unfortunately, our experience was far below expectations for a four-star resort. While the property itself is spacious and the dinner buffet offered good variety, almost everything else made us feel so ignored .
Cleanliness was a major issue, from dirty cutlery and coffee cups with visible stains and lipstick marks to generally unclean dining areas. We even started using paper cups from the second day because the dishes never felt properly washed. The restaurant was also extremely noisy, with staff loudly cleaning and stacking dishes right next to diners throughout meal times, making it almost impossible to enjoy a peaceful meal.
The outdoor areas, though naturally beautiful, remained dark until well after sunset because the lights weren’t turned on; a small detail that makes a big difference.
Service at reception was slow and unhelpful it took over an hour for someone to check our air conditioner, despite being told “five minutes” multiple times. Staff seemed tired and uninterested, and overall, we felt ignored as guests.
It’s disappointing because the place has great potential, but poor management and lack of care overshadow everything. Sadly, we wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to others.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately, our stay at this hotel left a lot to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the overall service was below expectations. The staff seemed more focused on monitoring us than making us feel welcome – constantly checking our wristbands while oddly ignoring other guests. It felt more like being supervised than on holiday.
The food was very poor – repetitive, bland, and often cold. For an all-inclusive resort, we were shocked to find that we had to pay extra to access the snack bar. Not to mention, after 12am, you can’t even get a bottle of water, which is simply unacceptable in a hot climate.
The room amenities were also disappointing. The shower gel and shampoo provided barely worked, which added to the overall feeling of neglect and low quality.
To top it all off, one night we were actually kicked out of the restaurant by staff, without clear explanation. While some of the staff were friendly and helpful (credit where it’s due), it wasn’t enough to make up for the overall poor experience.
Sadly, this hotel does not live up to the promise of a relaxing, all-inclusive holiday. Would not return.

I stayed here with my eight year old daughter at the end of May. We usually book the Don Pablo but was closed due to ongoing building work. This was our second stay at the Don Pedro, the first one was during new year in 2024/25.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I hope the management recognises that their staff are the best asset of this hotel, from the bar staff, to the cleaners, security, reception and restaurant staff. They all work incredibly hard to make this hotel welcoming and function efficiently.
The hotel is very clean and rooms were tidied every day. The Sol rooms are looking a bit dated now, but we were comfortable.
The swimming pools were well maintained, although there are still some loose floor tiles in the indoor pool which have not been repaired since I visited in December.
There was a decent choice of food in the restaurant although scope to vary the menu and have more Spanish items - the Don Pablo will have more choice once it's open.The bar is comfortable and relaxing with a wide choice of drinks, but would benefit from more staff during peak hours.
One recommendation I would make is to ban smoking around the outdoor pools. It's not pleasant breathing in other people's smoke, particularly with young children.
The other recommendation is to have drinks available in the restaurant which customers can help themselves. I don't understand why there is a waiter service for those who simply want water for example.
Overall this was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend it.

The hotel has a few pros and cons. The location is excellent — close to the beach and amenities — and the atmosphere is peaceful, with no noise from other guests. However, the beds are quite hard and the walls are thin, so you can sometimes hear neighbors. The outdoor pool is very cold, as it’s not heated, and parking is overpriced considering the lot is often empty. Breakfast is adequate but nothing special. Overall, a quiet place to stay, but with room for improvement in comfort and facilities.

I recently stayed at Don Pedro, one of the three hotels in the Sol Torremolinos complex, and overall had a positive experience. One of the biggest perks is that guests have full access to all three hotels' facilities at no extra cost—this adds excellent value and variety to the stay.
Rooms
The rooms are compact but functional. Mine included a balcony with two chairs, a small table, and a drying rack—a thoughtful touch. However, be aware that the hotel discourages hanging clothes over the balcony rail. A downside is that the rooms are not soundproof, and noise from the hallways can be disruptive, especially at night.
Entertainment
Entertainment is a standout feature of the complex. The staff are professional, energetic, and engaging, offering a wide variety of activities throughout the day—from pool cycling and gym classes to darts and games. Evening entertainment is well-organized, with two different shows each night: usually one featuring live singing and the other a live performance or themed show. The hotel also has a kids club and an arcade.
Food
The food is diverse and well-labeled, catering to vegetarians, vegans, and those with food allergies or dietary restrictions (e.g., pork, dairy, gluten). Meals are buffet-style for the most part, which works well. The only hiccup is at dinner, where drink service is handled by wait staff—this can cause delays and feels a bit out of step with the otherwise self-service setup.
Beach and Pools
The hotel is conveniently located just opposite the beach, and you're allowed to take hotel pool towels down to the shore, which is a nice bonus. The pools are lively with entertainment options, but also have plenty of sunbeds for relaxing. There are toilets near most pools, so you don’t need to head back inside, which is a practical touch.

Don Pedro delivers great entertainment, good food variety, and convenient beach access within a flexible and family-friendly hotel complex. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, the food was glorious really fresh and tasty. I have knocked off one star for the lack of Tea/Coffee making facilities in the rooms. There is a fridge but no kettle and I really enjoy a cup of Tea/Coffee when I am chilling in the room....however this is a minor gripe as otherwise the rooms are wonderful :0)
The swimming pools were fabulous.
This is super important : Just before our flight home my daughter who is 10yrs old was very sick she picked up a bug (not at the hotel I was not sick so offsite) I didn't think we would make our flight home, however you have a member of staff on security named IVAN he was amazing, he got a wheel chair for my daughter and assisted us into a taxi to get to the airport, he reassured my daughter at every step, he was incredible so kind caring and helpful I really hope you will be able to pass on our gratitude and thank him for being outstanding, he is a credit to your team.

I had a hotel staff (security) member walk in on me naked, without knocking, without announcing themselves, and without permission. They entered our private room unannounced — a gross violation of personal privacy and safety.
Shortly after, my husband — the registered guest — returned to the room with his key, only to be physically blocked by the same staff who put their hands on him and tried to stop him from entering his own room.
What was the hotel’s initial response?
Excuses and defensive attitude. A manager eventually offered us all-inclusive bracelets as compensation. * We appreciated the initial gesture until two days later, I went to the bar to order the same drink I’d been given for two days under the all-inclusive plan when a bartender with a poor attitude denied me the drink — telling me “that was a mistake” with no professionalism. Management told us the bracelets included with the exception of top shelf whiskeys and premium spirits of this nature. Made sense.
Every drink I’ve attempted to order is only 30% off and not included as we were previously advised.
And then, it happened again.
I returned to my room in the afternoon — expecting housekeeping had already come and gone — and a housekeeper barged into my room without knocking or saying a word.
This is unacceptable on every level.
*** I will add however that the hotel has since acknowledged and apologized for the incident(s). The housekeeping staff (M) that was assigned to our room for the remainder of our stay was EXCELLENT. She was warm, friendly, incredibly helpful. We loved chatting with her and she was extremely kind and did a stellar job! The hotel owner’ has acknowledged they’ve reminded staff of proper conduct. There are not many negative things about this place; I'd say there are a few minor ones.
It is a very nice hotel with decently sized rooms and bathrooms. Clean!
The hotel is spacious inside and outdoors as well, with many swimming pools that are shared with Don Pedro and Don Marco.
There are lots of sunbeds; however, there are lots of people too. 😅
The sea is literally right in front of the hotel—50 meters away.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good, with a decent selection of different products (I'm not fussy at all, so I speak for myself only). Overall, it was a pleasant holiday, and I will definitely recommend this hotel and location.

Overall it was ok. The positives are the breakfast is very good. Lots of selection. There should be fresh juices though rather than the cartons of juice they are putting in there. The room was ok, a little tired. The pool area is nice although the guests are down there at 7am putting their towels out. The staff at check in and check out are not very friendly or efficient. At check in they never gave us towels for the cards until we went down later to ask where we could get towels. At checkout they just said ok that’s done. No goodbye. The towel you have to go to their hotel next door to get. If you want to change the towel you have to pay.
At the pool bar they don’t serve real cocktails. Even though it’s on their menu they won’t serve smoothies etc. they said their machine is broken. I ordered a gin fizz which is on their menu and she didn’t know what it was and asked her colleague in Spanish how to make it. He told her wrong. She used limes and gin. No egg white or syrup and she put salt around the rim. I stopped ordering after that and just stuck to the odd beer.
The soap thing from the shower fell off the wall and they left it there for three days until I told reception even though the cleaners were in every day.
So overall the hotel is fine and in a good location. It’s just small things where they could do better which add up.

Just came back from a week there, absolutely terrible and couldn’t wait to leave.
-loud construction on site will wake you up very early
-food is extremely low quality and most day we didn’t know what to eat. Meat was raw, fish was basic and fruits were either rotten apples and a week old watermelon
-fridge in room is empty no water even, thr first hotel in my life that does not offer at least water. No kettle no coffee nothing either
-you are expected to keep the pool towels for the whole stay without changing them. If you do want to change them you will be charged
-the pool is overly crowded u can just stand there forget about swimming there’s no place
-not enough sun beds either
-hotel was dirty in hallways and stairs
-reception staff are rude
The only positive is the location it’s across the beach and there’s a restaurant there when u starve from the terrible hotel buffet

There seems to be a sickness issue at this hotel. I have stayed here twice and members of our party have been simultaneously struck down by sickness. Likely this is caused by the communal air conditioning system otherwise the bug would be spread person to person. Not only this but the food at breakfast is now so substandard, plus the staff at reception are plain rude. An illustration of how bad the service is the hotel charges parents 15 euros to hire a kettle to make up baby formula. I dont know what is going on here but prices have gone up and quality is in the toilet. When we stayed in May we were in a literal building site. You can't excrement on customers from a great height and expect them to return.

From the moment I arrived Maria on the front desk and Javier made my stay very welcoming. I got my early check in as requested and was up graded to a family room which I was appreciated of. The room, shower lovely, the balcony great and lovely sun from 5pm. Air con and fans great as I suffer with my menapause and was not hot. Bed was comfy but very squeeky, the cleaners were lovely abd friendly. For me the room could be updated with some paint and maybe a little more smarter for a Melia but I am not complaining in any way just some suggestions. Last night upstairs were moving furniture until 2am which was not good but I am leaving today, Breakfast ok, but I am very fussy anyways but seemed a good selection and cater for everyone. Lovely beach, some tasty restaurants near by and shops, generally I will definately be recommended this hotel to my clients. For what I paid for this hotel, nothing to be negative with. Thank you to you and your team for making my stay a pleasure.

Lovely view from the room. I do like tea and coffee making things in the room but maybe they're a disappearing facility. Clearing service and drinks service in the buffet restaurant was excellent - I musn't single out names- but there was constant queue for drinks at the bar. Location is lovely.

Hotel was very clean, beach was amazing as was the view, food was ok what you would expect from all inclusive, rooms a bit on the small side with 2 single beds pushed together not what I had expected when I booked as I would have liked to have shared a bed with my wife, only 3 friendly members of staff the rest were miserable and could hardly raise a smile not so good when it's people like us that are paying their wages, locals were not much better either, obviously this is our personal review and others will disagree. Also if you are thinking of hiring a car do it via the airport as if you do it in son bou it's expensive.

Great sea views from some of the rooms. Food in restaurant sometimes cold but there is a microwave.
To obtain a drink from the bar which sometimes has long queues you need a token that if you loose costs you one euro. Drinks are served in plastic beakers which is OK. But you need to remember to take back to the bar when you have finished to obtain your token back for the next time.
Snack bar is just that a snack bar with burgers hot dogs toasting machine etc.
Restaurant for breakfast lunch and evening meal is on two levels which is a bit frustrating as you spend more time walking from one level to the other. Gluten Free options are available and is a very good idea.
Staff are very friendly and polite rooms cleaned every day beds made towels changed etc etc.
Outside hotel there are shops but not many 15 minute walk and you have seen them all.
Swimming pools Freezing 🥶 sea is warmer. Hotel is located right on the beach with sunbeds to hire and life guard on patrol.
Entertainment well the 30 minute mini disco lasts about 12 minutes not long for the young ones at all. Shows not too bad we saw a magician and a group which were ok. Flemenco dancers i hate but to be fair the night they were on was very entertaining. Friday nights entertainment was two singers poor poor entertainment all spanish songs no English what so ever children bored adults bored not one part in english no idea what they were on about the hotel need to state that this entertainment is all Spanish AVOID THIS NIGHT!!!!!!!! Unless you understand spanish.
Lifts not a problem there is enough of them but they do get busy at peak times. But always return to reception area when not in use which is a great idea.
We stopped in the main hotel with the reception located inside where the other has no reception desk its there but not manned.
Couple of English tv channels but your not here to watch tv.
The wardrobe doors have been removed in the rooms and the shower is not very good but manageable. Unless you have small children then your best putting them in the bath.
No balcony lights so sitting out on an evening your in the dark.

This is a lovely hotel on the beach front with beautiful views of Son Bou Beach.
The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are polite, hardworking and helpful.
We stayed in May for a week which was our second visit and we have booked to come again for 2 weeks in September.
The breakfast was lovely with such a wide variety of choice and everything very fresh and tasty. Something for everyone.
The pools are perfect and very clean with great sun beds (which are free) and plenty of them.
The rooms are lovely with everything you need including a small fridge, safe, balcony and plenty of storage space.
Son Bou and Sol Milanos Hotel are our favourite places for a holiday for rest and relaxing.
We stayed on the Milanos side with a sea view and can’t wait to return in September in 12 weeks time and hopefully we will be able to be on the 3rd floor again with a sea view and hopefully pool view too. We can’t wait to see you soon.

⚠️ WARNING: Unsafe Hotel – Please Read Before Booking ⚠️
I am sharing my experience so that others can stay safe and avoid going through what I went through at this hotel.
From the moment I arrived, the experience was awful. The check-in took over 30 minutes, and the room I was given was nothing like the photos online. It was filthy — urine on the bathroom floor, stains on the toilet seat, and bed bugs in the mattress that forced me to seek medical help after the first night.
The food was equally unacceptable. Breakfast was cold, tasteless, and unhygienic, with hair found in my meals. Dinner was worse. Despite booking half-board, staff refused to serve food when I arrived late due to shuttle delays.
But the biggest issue is safety. I was verbally abused by staff and guests, subjected to racist and sexist comments, and physically intimidated. My belongings were stolen (including a blazer and my phone), and when I asked reception to check CCTV, they refused, mocked me, and insulted me further.
I was also harassed in the elevators, where men used racial slurs and broke my phone. When I reported this, staff dismissed me. Even worse, when the police became involved, instead of protecting me, they insulted, assaulted, and humiliated me. I was left with physical injuries and emotional trauma.
This hotel is unsafe, especially for women and solo travelers. The pictures online are misleading, the staff are unprofessional and abusive, and the environment is extremely hostile. What should have been a relaxing trip turned into a deeply traumatic experience.
👉 Please, for your own safety and peace of mind, do not book this hotel. It is not what it claims to be, and no one deserves to go through what I experienced here.

We had a 10 night stay in August and it was one of the best holidays we have been on! Fantastic facilities at the hotel, the night time entertainment was outstanding and there was plenty on during the day too, our daughter absolutely loved it!
Rooms cleaned everyday to a great standard, hotel staff extremely helpful and the pools amazing. The hotel is in a great location, not too loud but a close walk to the strip. We loved it so much we have booked again for our anniversary in October

I stayed at Meliá Benidorm recently and unfortunately, my experience was not up to the standard I expected from this hotel. While the property itself looks impressive, there were several issues that made the stay disappointing.
• Room condition: On arrival, we noticed broken glass by the door of our room – not exactly a safe or welcoming first impression. On top of that, our bathroom had a leak which spread into the bedroom area, making the floor constantly wet and causing us to slip several times. This felt unsafe and should have been dealt with properly.
• Dining experience: Breakfast times were confusing and poorly communicated. We weren’t told about changes until the day itself, and even the sign displayed the wrong information (listing PM instead of AM). At breakfast, drinks were either cleared away too early or not restocked while people were still eating, which was frustrating. Alcohol was offered at breakfast, yet strangely, dinner included no drinks at all — not even water — meaning you had to pay extra.
• Restaurant service: On three separate occasions, we were asked to move tables because the section we sat in “wasn’t in use.” Resetting a table doesn’t take long, so being moved repeatedly felt unnecessary and disruptive. To make matters worse, flies were constantly on the dessert section, and staff didn’t seem to address it, which was very off-putting.
Overall, the hotel has potential, but the lack of attention to detail, poor communication, and repeated service issues really let it down. For the price and the brand, I expected a little better.

Fantastic stay here, beautiful hotel, lovely rooms and friendly staff. 2 adults and 1 child and we had plenty of space. It's in a family friendly area of Benidorm and just a 10 min walk to the beach. The pool is just incredible, never seen one so big and it was also clean. Always managed to find a sunbed despite being in the peak of summer, although this was more tricky around midday. Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choice and all seemed fresh. The only negatives I can think of are the costs of the mini bar, extortionate prices which no one will pay when Lidl is right outside. Also the wait for the lifts can be long at times. Would definitely return to this hotel in the future

This hotel is a must for everyone! Beautiful outside and inside with comfortable rooms, friendly stuff, nice food, THE BEST pool with plenty of loungers and sun shades, green trees, bushes and palms and a nice daily music and show making your stay 100% satisfaction! The pool is also great for people with reduced mobility or small kids with its easy stair free access. The evening show in the yard is absolutely brilliant offering shows for every age for free while you enjoy a drink or food from its bars all the time. It is luxurious, convenient, child friendly and quiet during the night. The receptionists Belén and Marcus are super helpful for whatever you need. I will keep booking this hotel for all my holidays!

I have just returned from a 4 day trip 30/09 - 04/10 to Sol House Hotel and was pleasantly surprised. It was clean and the rooms were spacious. Great restaurants along the beach which are minutes from the hotel. There were some noisy ‘hard core’ holidaymakers but you are in Magaluf, but being out of season this was not bad at all.
I asked the hotel for help to organise a birthday surprise for my daughter in her room and Nathan was absolutely brilliant, going above and beyond. Even taking the trouble to find us to make sure all was ok.
💯 would recommend this hotel 🙌 and would book again out of season only as could imagine noisy in season.

I spent 4 nights 21.09- 25.09. It was off season so the hotel was quite empty which was very nice. The hotel is more a party hotel and you could hear that at night. A lot of drunk English tourists were loud at night, I wouldn’t want to imagine what it would be if I traveled in the season. The room was okay, pretty old but just to sleep it was fine. The hotel has nice pools and the beach club was very good. But I thought they also had beach beds but they didn’t but it wasn’t that bad.
I also booked breakfast and it was very good, a very big variety of food.
The hotel staff was okay, sometimes they looked like they were in a bad mood.

I do not recommend this hotel. We stayed here for 7 days, and not once was the room properly cleaned.
They collected the towels during the first days, but then stopped. The furniture was dusty, and on one occasion they even got the bed and sheets wet, but instead of changing them, they just placed a blanket on top. I had to dry it with a hairdryer in order to sleep! Imagine having a great day at the beach and then coming back to a poorly cleaned room with a wet bed?? Terrible!
The kitchen staff were all very polite and helpful. However, the reception staff were the rudest and most unpleasant I have ever seen (and no, there wasn’t a high flow of people at the times I needed assistance). I didn’t even bother asking for help with the wet bed issue because they made it very clear how unhelpful they would be, so I spared myself the stress.
This is also not the place for those seeking rest. People were shouting in the hallways during the night, and some guests made me even reconsider whether I should use the hotel pool.
The location is very good, but for a slightly higher price I believe it’s possible to find something better.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect, closer to everything, 2 min walking to the beach, lots of restaurants and supermarkets around. The buffet selection for breakfast is more than enough and also very tasty. Very clean hotel and adults only which is perfect for those who don't have kids. Highly recommend this place, we are thinking to return here.

We had a nice 5 day trip at Sol House.
It was a very quiet hotel considering it was so close to the strip.
•Had no issues with any noise/music of a night as we imagined we would.
•Hotel is so close to everything, shops, beach and strip which makes it easy to access.
•food was crap. Breakfast not so bad but dinner of an evening was awful which is surprising as it’s such a tourist area.
•rooms were average. Could do with paint touch ups. Most beds in the hotel are single beds pushed together. We asked for a mattress topper in which cleaner did do and that was better.
•staff were so miserable 24/7 not even a smile on their faces.
•WiFi is free and decent connection
•Dj was not there once throughout our whole stay. Hotel is advertised to be fun but there was absolutely nothing going on. Pool tables in lobby even shut for 9.

Had a lovely stay here. Friendly staff. Room was clean, well equipped and definitely big enough (we had the solarium room, great views on the pool!). Nice pool area, no huge pool but definitely big enough to accommodate all the guests. Breakfast was good in quality and had a very extensive range of choices. Located in a vibrant area with lots of bars, restaurants and shops.

The hotel is appears great in pictures and brochures but is quite disappointing. There is a nice atmosphere in the lobby area and has some modern interior design. The mascalzone bar attached has entertainment some nights in september which was okay. The pool is quiet and no issues getting a sun lounger. They dont have shower rooms but they will provide access to a room if you have checked out and are waiting on a flight.
We stayed in a studio (loft) room and found it a very strange layout. Room was facing the street and was very very loud - you are absolutely guaranteed to be woke up at 8am. I feel as though they aimed to meet the minimum requirements to call the room a studio: it had a completely useless sink in its kitchenette area with a microwave. But that was it. No dishes or cutlery to do anything with the microwave, so don't expect to use this to create a meal. Decent size fridge however.
We paid for half board at the hotel and were a bit let down for a 4 star hotel. It is of low quality and options are lacking, leading to a feeling of repetition. Please read someone elses recent review of the atmosphere in the restaurant, it is very accurate.
Overall the hotel is designed to appeal to those who might want a nice aesthetic picture for instagram, but the experience is disappointing.

Just back from a week at this hotel, and have to say it was brilliant, hotel very clean, staff great, kids loved the kids club and couldn't get them out of the pool. Rooms were great, was better than I expected.
The pool was cleaned every night with some sort of machine ready for the next day.
Food in the diner was great to, lots of variety.
Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Beautiful hotel with great vibes, rooms modern and clean. Buffet food had a good selection but food not very warm and quality was above average. Drinks expensive at dinner and in bar and bar service was poor, not once were we approached by a member of staff to order a drink we had to flag people down.
Pool is lovely and good amount of loungers. Overall the hotel was lovely

An exceptional hotel where my family and I felt very comfortable. We had a loft with a sea view. The room was clean and they cleaned daily and changed the towels when we needed. The hotel and the facilities were taken care daily. The staff and people there were friendly. The breakfast and dinner was always delicious and we liked it. The food was varied. There were fresh fruits and vegetables. What we liked the most was the kids' club and the animators who make’s fun activities for children during the day and evening. They’ve were amazing.

The hotel is centrally located in Magaluf, yet pleasantly quiet thanks to the well-insulated windows. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable – definitely a highlight of our stay. Housekeeping was excellent, and most of the staff at reception and around the pool were genuinely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there was one particular dark-haired woman who worked mainly at breakfast and around the pool who left quite a different impression: her attitude was often unfriendly, which stood out against the otherwise welcoming atmosphere.
Nice pool area but the pool water was much too cold, it was unfortunately unenjoyable due to this cold temperature
Breakfast was decent, though nothing special. Dinner, however, was a real disappointment. The selection was repetitive, most dishes were lukewarm at best, and the flavor was almost nonexistent. On our penultimate evening the restaurant was even closed altogether. We were told that the catering company responsible had ended its service from October 1st onwards. As a replacement we were sent to another Meliá hotel nearby – and the difference was striking. There, the food was hot, fresh, and genuinely enjoyable, which only highlighted how poor the quality had been at our own hotel.

We stayed at INNSiDE by Meliá Calviá Beach and overall had a good experience, but there are some areas for improvement. The room service was not complete, towels were replaced and beds were made, but the floors did not feel properly cleaned, so housekeeping could be better.
At check-in, we were told we would receive a free cocktail and got vouchers. However, when we went to the bar, the choice was extremely limited (only one very sweet option) and it wasn’t possible to swap it for a coffee. This felt disappointing, if you want to offer a free drink, just let guests choose any drink instead of making it complicated.
On the positive side, the breakfast was very good with a wide range of options, pastries, croissants, eggs, and fresh fruit, which I really enjoyed. The location is also excellent, very close to the beach.
One thing to be aware of, especially for solo travellers: the street outside the hotel does not feel very safe late at night. Between around 1 a.m. and 5 a.m., there were a lot of drunk people around, so I wouldn’t recommend walking alone during those hours.
Overall, a memorable stay with good breakfast and location, but room service (hotel management, not the staff) and promotions could be improved, and guests should be mindful of the street at night.

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The room was beautifully furnished, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the blackout curtains worked perfectly. We stayed in an Extra Space room and it was wonderful to have a large terrace and a small private pool at our disposal.
Overall, the hotel staff was very kind, although I believe the reception team could improve in terms of guest interaction: simply greeting guests in the morning when they pass by would make a big difference, especially when they are busy chatting among themselves. Apart from that, the restaurant staff was super friendly and attentive, especially the younger team members.
We experienced a small issue with dinner on our first night, but I truly appreciated how the manager and his assistant personally called our room every day to check on our satisfaction. This level of care and attention completely erased the inconvenience of the first evening and made us feel truly looked after – thank you for that!
The housekeeping ladies were all very kind, and we were very satisfied with their service. The rooftop pool staff was also very polite and welcoming. I’d also like to clarify something I had read in other reviews before our stay: both rooftop pools are available for hotel guests. The sunbeds on the left side are free of charge, while those on the right side are managed by a private company and require a fee. The cost (€60 per person) includes a large daybed with pool-and-sea view, one bottle of water, a plate of fruit, one alcoholic cocktail, and a large bottle of cava. In my opinion, this price is absolutely fair for what you get. The atmosphere was great, with music and a DJ playing all day.
Just two small suggestions:
• the water in both pools was far too cold,
• and it would be nice if children’s diving into the pool could be restricted, as it can disturb those who are there to relax.
The position of the Hotel it's 10/10!
All in all, it was a truly enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights which was highly recommended by a friend. We went in September, not too busy, a walk away from the beach and Starbucks. Close to the main party street but far enough to not be so noisy. Nice pool area with plenty of sunbeds available. The staff allowed us to take a shower in their gym amenities on check day as we spent the day by the pool once check out of our room. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I go back to La Palma.

The INNSIDE is more of a complex of multiple buildings.
The rooms are super spacious and clean. Beds are amazing and the minibar is stocked with a few freebies. That's an unexpected but welcoming surprise. Love it!
The breakfast buffet is European style with a wide variety and more than sufficient seating even when its getting busy.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
(Also a shout out to the friendly lady at the check-in who recommend free parking locations nearby).

Room - Smelt like a public toilet. The size was decent enough size/Layout. Out on the balcony with the above room constantly smoking cannabis is rank.

Pool - Scottish sea is hotter than the swimming pools. I wear glasses and I was asked to remove them. Sorry I can’t bloody see when i take them off. I wasn’t exactly swimming I was looking out for my child.
Food - I chipped my front tooth on the pizza it was that bad. The options for kids is chicken finger and chips or chicken fingers and chips. The food was below average. Very very poor
Area - nothing to do with young children. Everything is for couples and older kids.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. It’s Horrendous! The manager told me everyone has a different experience and that’s fair enough but when you look through the comments there’s a theme.

Overall a really nice hotel with great staff and with alot of great activities for kids, they do have a strict age 1 - 3 and age 4+ policy in the soft play area you should know about . Also, some kids might find the upside down house a bit TOO scary. Id recommend the hotel at its current state for kids age 5+ in our opinion.
Pool fantastic, splashpark very cool, location excellent, didnt use the golf or other activities (for bigger kids) but looked very good, less that 5mins to walk to beach with kids.
Staff all excellent doing a great job.
I cannot find any information about the characters or story behind the characters that walk around, their character design is a bit scary and unusual, our daughter called them monsters, but some kids seemed to know their name so i dont know if its a spanish TV show or what.
One complaint actually, we cant for the life of us understand why the music on our side of the hotel was BLARING till 10 - 11pm at night, when we look out over the balcony, there is no sign of anyone there, maybe a small group somewhere in the corner, but why does the entire hotel full of families and kids in bed have to listen to that music when nobody is down in the stage area or maybe 1 or 2 may be down there in the corner, i mean, move them inside for music or turn it down enough for them to just listen. Its not like any of them are clubbing and dancing to it, really unnecessary.

We went last Halloween as was pleasantly surprised. Super child friendly. It was so lovely to see how much effort the hotel made with decorating the whole place for Halloween. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this in a hotel abroad before.
Our room was lovely, although I would have liked if the child lock at the top wasn’t broken.
The pools were nice.
The slides were really fun.
The soft play was great!
The food was good, I did enjoy the themed nights.
Honestly fab for kids and parents. Lots of activities. Also a short walk out of the hotel to get to shops etc.

Stayed here in May and would highly recommend to anyone got everything to keep kids entertained and different theme nights for food which was good.
Only negative was the room size bit small but apart from that my 2 boys both 8 at the time had an amazing stay and so did me and my wife.
Close to the main strip but noise etc was never a problem never heard a thing the whole time we were there.

We had a wonderful stay here. Hotel was clean bright with plenty of sun loungers great entertainment each evening in both the main bar and pool bar. Lots of activities.
We stayed premium so had a fantastic sea/harbour view and sunshine on our balcony from sun up to sun down, room 3913.
This also let us use the adults only roof terrace were again plenty of sun loungers, pool access and bar. And a premium lounge at entrance to hotel were we had beer wine soft drinks water tea coffee and snacks to avail of as part of the package.
Slight issue with room 3819 at start of our stay which was quickly resolved and we were moved.
All in all a great stay!

Had a wonderful stay here, it was my birthday trip away with the girls and it didnt fail to impress!! Friendly helpful staff, hotel layout is fab, rooms spacious and clean, views beautiful, location ideal as between shopping streets and marina, beach right behind hotel. Breakfast very good, caters to everyone. Pool had plenty of loungers, entertainment was very enjoyable in late afternoon, pool bar serves lovely cocktails (maybe a tad overpriced but good). Paid extra for late 6pm checkout as it was available which made our last day perfect. will certainly be back!! Thanks again

We had a lovely 4 nights at this hotel, the rooms are a little dated and do have a bit of a funny smell like previous reviews have stated however ours was clean a good size and comfortable. We just wish we hadn’t chosen a ground floor terrace room as our balcony had a big window and we felt like we were in prison, usually I would sit on the balcony of a night time however could not do this but not their fault it’s ours for choosing ground floor. The entertainment in the afternoons by the play-bar is amazing, the atmosphere is great, music different shows etc really made our stay. The food was a let down for me, I struggled as breakfast/lunch I love my pastries/fruit etc however that section was always covered in fruit flies! To the point they were crawling all over the bread/pastries/ceiling etc I could not eat any of it. The food at the play-bar is the best. The location is perfect for the marina loads of bars and restaurants to enjoy and right on the beach. The staff our lovely, really welcoming and friendly. Yes you do have to fight for a sun lounger but we are always up early so made no odds to us. Will definitely be returning. I do think they should include drinks in full board though or at least a certain amount.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Great position by the promenade, closer to Benalmadena marina than Torremolinos town centre. Many restaurants along the promenade with amazing fish and seafood.
The breakfast is very nice with so much choice and options for all dietary requirements.
The pool area is small with not enough sunbeds, and it doesn’t help that people reserve them and don’t turn up all day. There is a rule against it but the staff don’t do anything about it. The beach across the hotel is public (not only for hotel guests) and you have to pay to use the sunbeds, but only €8 for the day.
The rooms are clean enough but the beds are old and squeaky and the bathrooms are very outdated. The air-con worked well which was great.
There is an on site bar/cafe which serves good drinks but it is quite expensive. Entertainment every Thur-Sun at 4pm and it was amazing.

Arrived at the INNSiDE on Sunday 5 October staff very polite the room was. Ok. Clean but there is a lot to be said about the restaurant the food well below standard. Not a big variety had sausages second morning on cutting open the sausages found to be pink inside I reported to a member of staff who apologised and said they wound cook them a bit more which I declined we never used the restaurant any evening used to go out to eat lots of nice restaurants. Sorry to say would not return here it’s ashamed because in great location

Absolutely outstanding location literally 2 steps from the beach. Lovely rooms albeit maybe slightly small rooms no place for us to store our cases in the room once unpacked. Wardrobes could do with being slightly bigger to as my clothes were to long for hanging up and im short!

Absolutely stunning hotel, beach front hotel adults only, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was cleaned every day with fresh bottled water added to fridge daily. The breakfast was very nice and plenty to choose from pastries to full cooked, the evening meal was buffet food different every day very nice food however the chicken was a little undercooked for me so I avoided the chicken but there was plenty to choose from from ribey steak to salad never had a complaint to say about this place and couldn’t imagine in staying in any other hotel except this absolute amazing experience. There was evening entertainment on every night and different entertainment too so never got boated. This has to be one of the cleanest hotels I have stopped in in Benidorm it is A +16 hotel which was perfect for us thank you to all the staff at melia for making a perfect holiday

We arrived at the Barceló close to midnight and check-in was smooth. The receptionist informed us that food was available downstairs since we hadn’t eaten. Unfortunately, this was the first of many disappointments. The food provided was simply leftovers from dinner service which had ended 3 hours prior so had been left out for hours, unrefrigerated, and clearly unsafe to eat. We told the staff who shrugged and just said it was fine and no other options. We ended up having to leave the hotel and buy food elsewhere despite booking an all-inclusive holiday.
Our room was another letdown. We paid extra for a full sea view, but what we received was mostly a view of the beach and buildings with only a small section of sea visible. When we raised this with reception, we were told it still counted as a “sea view” and that we would need to pay even more to change rooms. This is terrible advertising from the hotel as it shows side sea view and sea view rooms available online so when booking a sea view this is what we expected. The air conditioning was also extremely weak, and while the room did have a fridge, it wasn’t stocked. Even though it was advised when booking this would be and when asking the lady at the desk, we were told it would be further costs to have this. There was no further resolution to any of your issues raised and we just had to make do. To make matters worse, we had a full power outage in our room from 3 a.m. until 9 am, which reception noted but did nothing about.
Throughout our stay, we felt neglected. Waiters walked past us regularly, and when they did take our order, drinks were often forgotten or never arrived. The general attitude of the staff was unfriendly and unwelcoming, leaving us feeling as though we were being ignored. They seem to prioritise some guests over others. I think they just do not care. The nicest person we met was the lady who cleaned our room despite not being able to speak English. The food was always hit or miss, there was never any set theme to dinners or lunches nothing really went together and was more just random dishes. On top of that, the lifts were unreliable and often not working.
The final straw came when my partner went to watch football at the bar—a service the hotel had offered all week—only to be told the bar was closed for a private event. At an all-inclusive resort, this is simply unacceptable!
The only positives were that the rooms were cleaned well and the hotel is located directly on the beach - though the rooms do need thorough maintenance as there were marks on the walls, the bathroom had bits falling apart and was overall rundown. Unfortunately, everything else fell far short of the standard expected of a four-star hotel. For the price we paid (nearly £2,000), this was nowhere near value for money, and we left feeling extremely disappointed and frankly like we hadn’t even had a holiday. This has been the worst holiday experience I’ve had to date and frankly going off the previous reviews and the hotels responses on similar issues, it doesn’t seem like anything is being done to rectify this.

I’ve stayed in several hotels before, but I’ve never experienced such variety and quality of food – especially seafood. Meals were delicious every day, never repetitive or boring, unlike some reviews suggested. The entertainment team did a fantastic job, I joined the animations every evening and had a great time. Our room was clean and well-kept – nothing fancy, but perfect since we only used it for sleeping. The hotel is beautifully located on a cliff, right by the charming Cala Ferrera bay, which gives it a unique atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back here again with my wife – highly recommended!

I recently returned from a week-long stay at Barceló Ponent Beach with my partner, and I have nothing but praise for this hotel. The rooms were spotless and serviced daily, ensuring a consistently clean and comfortable environment throughout our stay.
The hotel itself offers excellent amenities, and the location is truly unbeatable, just steps away from the beach and within a short walking distance of the town, where a variety of restaurants and attractions can be enjoyed.
What truly sets Barceló Ponent Beach apart, however, is the staff. From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional. In particular, a member of the reception team with red hair made a lasting impression; she was incredibly welcoming, professional, and friendly. Every staff member we encountered during our stay was warm, approachable, and always ready with a smile.
This combination of comfort, convenience, and outstanding service made our holiday truly memorable. We would not hesitate to return and wholeheartedly recommend Barceló Ponent Beach to others.

This is a great hotel! The two pools and the beach being so close together is brilliant. Room was comfortable and all the staff were great. We went all inclusive for 7 nights but only had our breakfast in the hotel so can’t comment on the lunch / dinner. Breakfast was nice but the buffet was packed every morning! The Snacks and drinks by the pool were great.
Only one issue. We are a couple in our early 30s so taking the stairs isn’t an issue but if you rely on elevators you will be waiting a while for the elevator every time you need to use it and it will hinder your experience.
Other than that everything was perfect.

One of the best hotels I been to! The staff have been so accommodating and so so friendly with us, such as serving us when having our meals and drinks. The animation team have been very good, the bartenders and waiters have been amazing and the reception staff have been so helpful with our questions. Also special mention to the cleaners who leave our room very clean. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back here in the future. To all the staff; well done and keep up the amazing work!

Avoid — definitely not worth it.
Disappointing already at the arrival. We paid extra for a side sea view room and were given a room with a view of rooftops and air conditioning units, with barely a glimpse of the sea. As you can see from the photo, this is not what you’d expect when paying for a side sea view upgrade. I’m honestly sure that many of the standard rooms on higher floors without any sea view upgrade probably have a better view than this.
Even though the hotel clearly had better availability (visible online), staff refused to move us and weren’t helpful. The manager was uncooperative and just told us to come back the next morning, no effort to resolve the issue or offer a solution.
There’s also no food available at the poolside, which is surprising for a hotel of this level. On top of that, people reserve sunbeds by laying towels on them all day long without actually using them, and the hotel staff don’t seem to care or enforce any kind of policy.
The general lack of service, poor attitude from staff, and even the manner of some guests was disappointing. Honestly, none of this reflects the standard you’d expect, not even at a 3-star level.

Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. The location seemed nice at first, but the overall quality fell far below expectations and definitely not what you’d expect from a 4-star property.
Food & Dining
The food was poor and repetitive, often lacking flavor. Meat was usually overcooked, and at the BBQ evening the turkey was burnt outside but raw inside. One night we even got food poisoning. Breakfast was also disappointing, with food already cold when service opened at 7:30.
Service
Most staff were unfriendly and very slow. We never felt welcomed, and even small requests took much longer than they should have.
Accommodation & Facilities
The hotel was loud, with music and entertainment making it hard to relax. When it rained, water poured into the bathroom through a light fixture, which felt unsafe. Around the terrace there was often a strong smell of urine, likely from a nearby farm. The one positive surprise was the gym, which was well-equipped and in good condition.
Parking & Costs
Parking was almost impossible with so few spaces. On top of that, extras were outrageously priced, like the Bali beds on the beach at 100 euros per day.
Conclusion
Between the unsafe facilities, bad food, poor service, noise, lack of parking and overpriced extras, the price compared to the quality was never worth it. Apart from the gym, there is little positive to say. At best, this hotel deserves 3 stars. We would not return.

Very upset with hotel staff! Been to many Meliá hotels and this one’s staff are very poor With-explanation and just want to get money. Told us for an upgrade with half board was a certain price and than agreed to the charge. Turns out upgrade was just for a new view (which was not a view of the sea; just rooftop) and not half board. Try to explain with hotel staff but they kept saying there is nothing they can do. Try to celebrate my engagement here but totally ruined by staffs rudeness.
To mention, we booked at Meliá south beach and due to early seasonal closure, our reservations were moved to this hotel and the room quality is not the same and to get the level bedroom is extra. I truly believe that this hotel is a fake/fraud. I clearly read the previous reviews and with these same
Issues with their coordinators marnia, and two others apart of communications coordinators keep saying we hold to policy and up most standards but clearly that’s not true as the reviews keep being the same with saying the same issues over and over again. If you really cared about customer service. There would be a change in staff who are kind, pleasant and want to be there. Second, they highlight one part of the issues and don’t even fix it in their responses. One of the worst Meliá hotels I’ve been too and I would not stay her again. I really hope if you’re reading this, you will pick some where else.

I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Today, the hotel has been without electricity the entire day. The elevators were already malfunctioning even before the power went out. The heat inside the hotel is unbearable. Guests had to dine in complete darkness — we were only lucky enough to have dinner earlier while there was still power.
Families with children and strollers are forced to use the stairs. Now there is also no running water, making it impossible to take a shower. The staff simply shrug their shoulders and have no information to provide.
How can a 4-star hotel operate without a generator? There should be some form of compensation for such a service. We paid €6,500 for three rooms — what a disappointing start to our holiday.

A great place to stay, the hotel is more like an old town village with a lovely square to sit and enjoy your beer/wine/ food in the warm Spanish evening.
The pools are massive and the golf courses are to a very high standard.
It’s also only a 10 minute journey to Benidorm should you wish to experience the opposite end of the scale.

A remote hotel which is dominated by golfing and business conventions / meetings.
Incredibly badly managed, poorly designed in layout, aggressively priced due to location and entirely set up for fleecing guests without a car or means to get supplies locally. Please be aware there is nothing nearby and u are a captive audience.
Staff seem very customer wiery and fed up. I suspect due to the constant arrival of all male groups and the demands that come with managing the attached golf course custom.
The golf course are average, overplayed and slow. Shop is overpriced and the staff indignant to the point of rudeness.
I found the hotel reception to be unhelpful and incredibly unreliable. I had to ask for my room amenities (bathroom stuff) to be replenish over and over again. It took 3 days.
The on site shop is laughable, you cannot buy water or anywhere on site other than a very small bottle from the bar to ensure you use the crazy priced mini bar. Without a car you are totally at their high priced mercy so come prepped or preferably with a car but Im sure they've covered that with a high cost to park per day.
Not a fan. Rooms are spacious, beds are pretty good but I will not use Melia again. Companies that want to extort their client base should fail.

This is a large, clean, stylish and modern hotel, but is lacking in the personal touches customers would expect, with this star rating. The weather the second week in May was unseasonably cool, and the hotel was cold. It was often difficult to find staff for service in the bars, especially around the pool areas. It lacks atmosphere and friendliness.

Nice hotel, but it surprised me that a five-star hotel has no complimentary water, coffee or tea??? We even have to “borrow” the water cooker! The comforting points are personnel: great staff at reception and restaurant! The buffet breakfast and dinner are at average level... not to compare with other five-star hotel we’ve stayed!

Hotel is not bad (building is old and they have tried to modernize it, rooms and building a 3 star but the breakfast makes up for everything. Especially when you are on a long drive ahead.
Pool area is amazing almost like a Vegas style beach with lots of space and cabanas.
I gave this place a 5 star review because the price of the night stay of 68 euros wouldn't even cover the price of the breakfast in most places. So the value is amazing. Would highly recommend it as a 5 day escape from everything and anything.

We stayed in this hotel 3 nights, beautiful hotel and surroundings. Rooms were very clean and up to a high standard, staff were very friendly and helpful, spoke very good English as well. Hotel is up on the hill so it was a bit of an issue going there and back to town/beach but we got used to it, car would be a good option there. It was about 10 minute walk to the beach and promenade. The pool near the hotel was very clean and big enough. Excellent place to stay.

My wife and I had lovely stay here, we find the hotel such a good relaxing place with real good modern vibe. Our second stay here and not disappointed. We were well looked after from checking in from Paula , who sorted a welcome bottle of Cava and strawberries for our anniversary. The breakfast choice was fantastic and plentyful . Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed here recently and while there were some positives, the overall experience didn’t fully meet expectations given the high nightly rates.
Negatives:
⛔️ The hotel was fully booked, and the capacity of sunbeds around the pools was far from sufficient.
⛔️ “Better” sunbeds are available only for an extra charge, which feels unreasonable considering the already high room rates.
⛔️ Breakfast buffet is €25 per person, but the quality and variety were not up to that price.
⛔️ Pool staff were not attentive enough, and it’s not allowed to bring your own drinks to the pool – again, surprising for such a high-end price point.
⛔️The evening buffet is no longer available, and the on-site restaurants are expensive with a rather limited food selection.
⛔️ Check-in was delayed, and the “direct sea view” we booked was not quite what we had imagined.
Positives:
✅ Lovely rooftop with a beautiful view. However, the infinity pool is small and there are not enough loungers when the hotel is busy.
✅ Clean towels, good housekeeping, and general service in terms of cleaning and maintenance.
✅ Direct access to the beach, although the beach itself is quite small.
Overall, this hotel has some great features and an excellent location, but the management needs to address capacity issues, pricing policy, and service consistency to match the premium rates they charge.

Disappointing Experience – Far Below Meliá Standards
We were very disappointed by our stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Ibiza, especially considering our previous positive experiences with Meliá hotels.
Arrival & Check-In
Our disappointment began upon arrival. The first contact at reception was already problematic due to the staff member’s very limited English skills. Communication was frustrating and ineffective. We were assigned a room where the noise from a malfunctioning air conditioning unit (or a similar system) made it absolutely impossible to sleep.
We immediately reported the issue and were promised that someone would be sent to help. We waited in the room for over three hours—unpacked and ready to go out for dinner with friends—only to receive a phone call saying, “If it’s really that bad, you can just change rooms,” with no assistance offered whatsoever. We were left to figure it out on our own.
Housekeeping & Room Service
The next day, our room wasn’t cleaned and no fresh towels were provided. Only after persistent requests did we finally receive some towels.
There was no complimentary drinking water in the room, which we find to be a basic minimum standard. A QR code was provided for food and drink orders, which we tried to use, but nothing happened. When we called reception to ask how it worked, we were laughed at and told that there is no room service.
Pool & Breakfast
Poolside service was also a letdown. We asked for sunbeds but were told there were none available. After searching ourselves, we found two dirty, waterlogged loungers—again, with no help or initiative from staff.
Breakfast on the first day was chaotic. There was no guidance or assistance from the staff, and getting a table felt more like a fight than a relaxing start to the day. We gave up after that and didn’t return for breakfast again.

To be fair, a few individuals at the reception desk were very kind and tried their best. Unfortunately, they were the exception rather than the rule.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect – close to everything we needed. The staff were pleasant, which made a big difference. The room was modern, clean, and tidy – exactly what you want after a long day out.
Breakfast was great too, with loads of variety to choose from. There was something for everyone.
The only small downside was the air con – it worked fine for me, but my partner found it a bit warm at times and wished it was cooler.
Overall though, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again

Overall quite a great stay. The views are excellent. The pools are fantastic and the beach is right outside. I enjoyed the music at both pools. The staff do a good job of keeping tables clean during breakfast, and the housekeeping is great. The hotel was busy so was unable to get early check in or late checkout. I mostly require this because I often work while traveling. The common area isn’t air conditioned very effectively so it’s not comfortable to work there. There is however a shower room to get fresh before the flight. Also the WiFi on Linux computers does not work. It redirects to a link which appears blocked by the firewall until after the device is approved by their landing page system. The only seats in common area with plugs are high tops which aren’t the most comfortable to work at. Very minor concerns but these small details would go a long way.

The hotel room was very nice & clean. Loved the free minibar. The view of the beach from the room was amazing! The breakfast had a great variety.
The pool and wave flow rider were cool. Overall a great place to stay, central location in Magaluf and reasonably price for all the inclusions.

The hotel is very close to the beach, the rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and good. The only minus (because of this we did not spend any time inside for 10 days) was the fact that all the sunbeds at the pool had a reservation sign on them even though no one came to sit on them. I stayed for 10 days and never found a sunbed at the pool and no one explained to me the process of reserving it. So the pool is a place that is not accessible to everyone...that's the only minus. but it is frustrating to see empty sunbeds all day long that say reserved....This fact makes you look for other areas to relax... So...I would not recommend people who want to sit at the pool to come to this hotel. If you want to stay at the beach it is excellent. If you take the pool area out of the equation, the experience was a very pleasant one and I would recommend staying here.

This hotel is very basic and does not deserve 4 stars — I would rate it 3 at most. No one helps with the luggage and the service was below expectations. The only good thing was the breakfast, which was tasty and varied and the view from the balcony
Check in:
We had a very bad check-in experience. Although we had two rooms for 5 people and the room was clearly spacious enough to accommodate one extra person comfortably, they still refused to allow one additional guest — even after we offered to pay an extra charge. Instead, they insisted that we book an additional night, telling us “your reservation is for two nights only– we are fully booked so deal with it.” We tried contacting other hotels but they were all full, so we were forced to stay.
Adults:
please be aware that this hotel is not suitable for adults traveling without children — it is clearly more focused on families with kids.
Parking:
On top of that, they didn’t even reserve parking for guests. When I asked, they simply said “it’s full, it depends on your luck” — which makes you wonder what exactly you are paying for.
I will definitely not return, as the stay is not worth the price.

A wonderful hotel for a family vacation. I was especially amazed by how well they cater to vegans — usually, in other places, I hear, “Sorry, we don’t have that,” and that’s it. But here, the chefs personally prepared an incredible vegan dish for me — even better than what I’ve had in specialized vegan restaurants.
I’ll never forget the pistachio cake by Chef Magdalena — it was the most delicious vegan cake I’ve ever tried.
I absolutely love this hotel! Not only is it super friendly for kids, but it’s also fantastic for vegans. They’ll find something special for every dietary preference.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Zafiro Hotel in Alcudia, and I have to say, it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, and it set the tone for our entire stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making it feel like a truly personalised experience.
The food was absolutely outstanding – one of the best sets of restaurants I’ve encountered. Each meal was a delight, but if I had to recommend just one, the Grill restaurant for dinner was a standout. The fish was incredible, and the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing evening.
Our room was immaculate – the cleaning was impeccable, and it was clear the staff took great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. Every detail was taken care of, and it made our stay feel even more luxurious.
The coffee shop served proper coffee, which was the perfect way to start the day!
One last note – I saw some reviews mention a shortage of sun beds, but I can confidently say that was nonsense. There were plenty available during our stay, and we never had any trouble finding one!
Overall, the hotel and staff truly impressed me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Alcudia. It’s one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time!

Great hotel and we had a fantastic holiday staying here. The location is ideal for families with kids but also perfect if you’re looking for a slice of luxury. It’s close to the beach and shops, and from the moment we arrived, the staff couldn’t do more for us.
Room
The room was excellent and felt like a piece of luxury. We stayed in one of the rooms with a rooftop jacuzzi, and I would highly recommend it. The cleaning service was great, and water was always topped up. One evening we had a slight issue with the air con (our fault for not shutting the door properly), but even after midnight, reception sent someone immediately to fix it. The room was spotless, comfortable, and truly a treat.
Food & Restaurants
The buffet offered a huge variety with plenty to suit all tastes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some of our group mentioned they would have liked the food a little hotter, but overall the quality was very good. Service was pleasant and although plates could have been cleared a touch quicker, it didn’t affect the experience too much.
We also tried all of the à la carte restaurants and enjoyed them all. Both the food and service were excellent. Booking in advance was essential as they filled up quickly. A little more flexibility with timings would have been nice, but we understand it was a busy season. One highlight was the restaurant above the pool, which we highly recommend for lunch as the food was absolutely delicious.
Pools
I didn’t spend much time in the pools, but they were clean and family-friendly. The only small downside was that the pool beneath one of the restaurants wasn’t always closed off during dinner service, which affected the ambience with kids playing while you’re eating. Otherwise, they looked inviting and well-kept. Another suggestion would be to consider keeping the swim-up bar as an adults-only space or at least sectioning part of it off, as it can be tricky carrying drinks with children splashing around.
Entertainment
The entertainment was very focused on children, with shows finishing around 10:30 to 11:00 pm each night. It would be great to see a separate space or program for adults, as we’ve experienced in other hotels, with kids’ entertainment in one area and adult-focused options in another. Daytime activities were also mainly aimed at children, so some adult-friendly pool games like water polo would be a welcome addition. The gym was good for a hotel gym, with a range of equipment and classes, though my yoga class was unfortunately cancelled at the last minute without warning.
Overall
This is an excellent hotel with fantastic food, service, and cleanliness. The staff couldn’t do more for you, and we had a wonderful stay. Perfect for families with kids who also want a touch of luxury. Highly recommended.

Food and Restaurants
The buffet at The Market was excellent, with a large and varied selection. Unfortunately, we found that if you sat outside along the sides, staff could forget about you – plates were not cleared away, and it could take a long time to place a drink order.
We ate at La Veranda only once. The food was fine, but not on the same level as the buffet.
Rooms and Facilities
Our room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. However, we did experience two technical issues: a balcony door that didn’t work, and a toilet that kept running after cleaning. These were fixed, but it was still inconvenient.
The hotel felt very large, and we felt the staff sometimes lost oversight. Routines seemed unclear at times, resulting in inconsistent service.
Pool Area
The pool with the swim-up bar was quite crowded, and finding available sunbeds was very difficult. The hotel has a rule that sunbeds cannot be reserved for more than 40 minutes without use, but this was not enforced.
Additionally, lifeguards began removing our towels before pool closing time, even though we had personal items like bags and shoes on the loungers. This felt unnecessary, as it meant we had to walk back to our room cold and wet.
The pool bar was often busy, and we sometimes waited up to 10 minutes to be served, especially when seated on the sides. Hygiene could also have been better – we saw a bartender use a glass that had fallen on the floor.
Entertainment and Amenities
Evening entertainment was disappointing, and there was no mini-disco for children. We also missed having a small shop at the hotel for basic items like snacks, drinks, or pool supplies – everything had to be purchased outside the hotel.
We also found it inconvenient to bring the hotel key card to the pool bar for all-inclusive service. A wristband system would have been much more practical and avoided bartenders constantly asking for the room number.
After 10:30 p.m., the hotel became completely quiet, with no music or activities, giving the impression that everyone should return to their rooms.
Summary
Zafiro Hotel Alcudia is a beautiful hotel with an excellent buffet, nice rooms, and very friendly staff. However, the hotel feels slightly too large for the current staffing level, and routines are lacking to ensure consistent service. With better organization and a few more staff members, this hotel could easily move from very good to truly outstanding.

Just spent 5 nights here at Don Marco and it did not disappoint. Fabulous hotel, part of the Sol Torremolinos complex along with the Don Pablo and Don Pedro. It's right on the beach front and about 15 mins from the airport.
You get access to all of the facilities at all hotels which was an unexpected bonus.
Lots of pools and plenty of sun loungers. We always found some no matter how busy it was.
Staff also placed notes on beds after towels have been left there to say they will be removed after an hour as reserving sunbeds isn't allowed. This meant no sunbed wars or mad rush at 7 am .. just a lovely chilled walk to one of the many pools, choose a free sunbed and relax. Perfect!
Food was decent. We only had breakfast and it as you'd expect for hotel buffet.
We had a lovely modern room with a view over the gardens, entrance and pool.
There were 3 lots of entertainment on every night so something for everyone as well as a kids disco at the Don Pablo.
It's a family complex but the Marco is the adults recommended one and has adult only pools and a chilled restaurant/bar for breakfast.
Staff were all really friendly and helpful too.
Lovely holiday here and we'd definitely return.

I was disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The food was of poor quality with very little choice — far below a 4-star all-inclusive standard. Breakfast was the same every day, and most meals lacked freshness and variety. Drinks were also poor quality, with juice tasting like concentrate.
The room had an unpleasant smell from the bathroom, and the air conditioning did not work properly — the room stayed cold even on the highest setting, and when turned off, it became stuffy and smelly.

Second time staying on the complex, booked the XTRA top floor room but unfortunately air-conditioning wasnt good, after 3 trips to reception the girl moved us to another smaller beach front room, staff were very helpful and offered us half board as an apology which was appreciated.
We dont eat buffet food but tried it one evening only to find the beef and fish was completely under cooked and left. This hotel is the best facilities and rooms in the area breakfast is decent but would not recommend the restaurant.

I recently stayed at Asia Gardens and while the hotel itself is absolutely lovely, my experience was unfortunately ruined by some of the staff. Throughout my stay I felt extremely uncomfortable as staff were constantly staring at me – to the point where it felt intimidating. I even have it all recorded and shared in my YouTube vlog (Deanalex) so people can see for themselves. On top of that, I was actually shushed by staff, which was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
The setting, décor, and facilities are beautiful, but the behavior of certain staff members really let the place down. If you want to see a genuine, unfiltered review, check out my vlog – I’m always 100% honest. Sadly, despite how nice the hotel is, I left feeling disappointed because of the way I was treated.

We recently spent a few days at Asia Gardens and overall had a good stay — but also left feeling that the experience fell short of what you would expect from a five-star hotel in this price range.
The good:
The hotel grounds are absolutely stunning. From the moment you drive onto the property, you feel like you’ve been transported to Southeast Asia. The gardens are immaculately maintained — we didn’t see a single corner that looked neglected. The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and in excellent condition.
The breakfast buffet is generous and very tasty, although it doesn’t change much from day to day. The food quality in all the restaurants we tried was consistently excellent.
The Kids Club deserves a special mention — the staff were incredibly friendly, the facilities are lovely, and the children absolutely loved it. We especially appreciated the option for kids to have dinner with the Kids Club team, which gave us parents a quiet evening every now and then.
The spa facilities are also beautiful, and the massages we booked were of excellent quality, both in terms of technique and atmosphere.
The not-so-good:
For a hotel of this category, the guest experience felt surprisingly transactional. Nearly everything comes with an extra charge, prices are very high, and there is little sense of the hotel going the extra mile to make guests feel special.
Examples: no welcome drink, no small touches for the kids, no proactive introduction to the property — you simply check in and are on your own.
Although the Kids Club is fantastic, the rest of the resort is not particularly family-friendly. There are many pools, but only one is heated and open to children. At that pool, guests are asked to be quiet — so there’s no place where kids can simply splash around and be kids without feeling like they’re disturbing others.
Another surprise: there’s no food or drink service by the pool. If you want to eat during the day, you have to go to one of the restaurants. And while the food is great, the pricing is steep: €10 for fries, €9 for an ice cream, €5 for a soda, €9 for a small side of basmati rice. There’s no option for a simple, more casual or affordable snack.
Service & guest experience:
The staff, while polite, were not very proactive. For example, one evening our drinks at the bar took a very long time to arrive, even though we were the only guests there. Because of this delay we were running late for our dinner reservation and kindly asked the waitress if she could call the restaurant to let them know. Her first reaction was to tell us to walk to the reception ourselves. Only after insisting did she reluctantly make the call — something we would consider standard service in any five-star property.
Lack of adult activities:
While the spa is lovely, the hotel offers surprisingly little in terms of activities or entertainment for adults. During our stay, there was no live music, no evening entertainment, and only a limited sports offering (a couple of yoga and pilates sessions). Although there’s a beach volleyball court, there were no organized games or other sports activities. If you don’t want to book spa treatments, there’s not much to do as an adult guest, which feels unusual for a hotel of this category.
Overall:
This is a beautiful property with excellent facilities — but compared to other five-star hotels at a similar price point, it lacks the thoughtful touches and hospitality that turn a good stay into a memorable one. With just a bit more focus on guest experience, service proactivity, and meaningful activities for both families and adults, it could be truly exceptional.

What a great stay
My stay at Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the stunning Thai-inspired architecture and lush, impeccably maintained gardens transported us to a serene, tropical oasis. The grounds are breathtaking, with winding pathways, tranquil carp ponds, and magnificent pools that create a truly relaxing atmosphere.
The rooms were spacious, luxurious, and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and elegant decor that perfectly complemented the hotel’s exotic ambiance. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to ensure our needs were met. The breakfast buffet was superb, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality options to suit every taste, though I’d love to see even more variety in juices and salads next time.
The Thai Spa was a highlight, offering a rejuvenating experience with skilled therapists and a calming environment. The dining options were impressive, with delicious cuisine served in beautifully designed restaurants, though I’d recommend booking in advance as some spots fill up quickly.
Overall, Asia Gardens is a gem on the Costa Blanca, blending luxury, relaxation, and a unique Far Eastern vibe just minutes from Benidorm. I can’t wait to return !

Had stayed at this Thai themed resort, about a decade ago, and recently returned for an amazing long weekend. Set up in the hills , this extensive hotel sports 5 amazing themed restaurants and 3 pools. The buffet champagne breakfasts were excellent, and staff helpful and attentive. Will be back.

Absolutely incredible stay – stunning gardens and exceptional design
I spent five days at Asia Gardens & Thai Spa in Benidorm with my 13-year-old daughter and we were absolutely amazed. The hotel is truly exceptional. The gardens are lush, with abundant and beautiful vegetation, impeccably maintained. There are waterfalls and several absolutely stunning pools – everything is picture-perfect. The design and atmosphere of the hotel are exquisite, creating a peaceful and luxurious escape.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, always smiling and helpful. Our room was spotless and very comfortable.
That being said, the only downside is the pricing inside the hotel. There’s a €30 charge for late check-out, €200 per day for double sunbeds by the pool – which I’ve had for free in other luxury hotels – €35 for a plate of pasta at the Koh Samui restaurant, and €14.01 for a strawberry smoothie at the pool bar. The prices are quite high, especially considering the already premium room rates.
Still, the overall experience was unforgettable, and I would absolutely love to return. A truly special place.

Hand on heart this was the perfect hotel for us…very little we could fault.
We were welcomed with a lovely cold glass of champagne and the children a cold drink each in the beautiful and very quiet seating area behind reception. Stefan checked us in and showed us around the hotel, and the service from him always came with a smile 😊he stood out for us because he went above and beyond. He helped with all aspects of our stay, as did the other reception staff (managing to source taxis, and give us directions, maps etc).
The pool was lovely, we didn’t find it particularly difficult to get sunbeds around the pool area, a little harder if you came down after 10:30 ish. The food around the pool and in the pool bar was fantastic, and can be brought over to you loungers. A highlight was the beautiful flowers growing above the pool - it looked so pretty.
The food elsewhere in the hotel is lovely too, we had some perfect evening meals and breakfast was delicious with lots of food on offer. You can have eggs cooked how you liked if you ask the chefs, my only criticism is the chefs tended to be quite grumpy, but all the other waiting staff were very helpful (especially the slightly older lady - sorry didn’t get her name but she had everything under control and really made us feel welcome with all we needed).
Our room was great, the ac unit worked perfectly and kept us comfortable and cool. We had a lovely terrace which looked out over the pool and the room was well equipped for our needs as a family of 4. I’d have liked to have a proper quilt for the children as they felt cold, but this is a small problem that I’m sure staff would have solved for us had we asked. The beds were comfy and the pillows perfect!
My only other wish would have been somewhere to do make up other than the bathroom - it wasn’t quite bright enough in there so I had to try and balance my make up bag and mirror outside which wasn’t easy.
I had my reservations if this hotel would be suitable for a family (we are 2 adults and 2 kids aged 13 & 9) but can say it fitted our needs perfectly and the children had a great time. This might not be the hotel for you if you’re looking for somewhere with tonnes of activities for children, but if you have slightly older children and are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful with great food and a touch of luxury, this is the place for you. 🌸

Melia Cala d’Or Boutique Hotel is a true hidden gem. Its location is wonderfully quiet and tranquil, yet right in the heart of Cala d’Or, so everything is within easy walking distance and there is no need for public transport. The hotel grounds are simply stunning, beautifully maintained and surrounded by greenery and flowers that create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
As an independent travel agent, I have stayed in countless hotels, but this one genuinely stood out for how restful it felt. With only 55 rooms, it offers an intimate and serene experience – no overcrowding, no rush at breakfast, just pure relaxation away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast itself was excellent, and the friendly staff added to the welcoming and calm vibe.
While some might say the hotel is slightly outdated, I found that it only enhanced its charm. It truly feels like staying in a grand old villa, with spacious rooms and only a handful located in each building, giving an added sense of privacy and seclusion. Everything was spotlessly clean, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the rooms were equipped with all the handy amenities you could need.
This is an ideal choice for anyone seeking peace and quiet without being isolated – you can reach the beaches, restaurants, and town centre in just a couple of minutes. A perfect spot for those who want to recharge in beautiful surroundings.

This hotel is a gem. We absolutely loved our stay here. The highlight was most definitely the pool and its surroundings. I would have happily spent my entire time there. Location is fantastic, close enough to be walking distance to the beach and restaurants but just that far enough away from the craziness. The hotel has old school charm with modern features, a perfect combo. The staff was exceptional and a real credit to this hotel. From front desk, to the pool, to the breakfast kitchen. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, there was a great variety and great quality. The real highlight was the Saturday entertainment. Pianist at breakfast was a holiday highlight and the singer at the pool was a treat. We hope to be back soon!

It was great for our 18 month old as there is a shallow kids pool plenty other young kids for him to play with.
Overall it’s a lovely, relaxing hotel which is ideal in what is quite a busy, hectic town.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. Parking on the street was easy, and there’s a private (paid) option if needed. The staff was very friendly, kind and attentive.
The pool and bar area were great, the lunch menu was good, and while the gym is small, it’s enough for a quick workout. The hotel was clean, but I didn’t find it particularly cozy or inviting. I was a bit unlucky with the weather, which made the lack of warmth in the atmosphere stand out more.
Breakfast was fine, though I had higher expectations for the price range. The elevator wasn’t working during my stay, which didn’t bother me but could be inconvenient for others.
One thing I found surprising was the guest demographic. Most guests were older, which I didn’t expect given how modern and contemporary the hotel’s branding feels.
I chose this Hotel because I was really drawn to the branding and expected something special. In the end, the experience didn’t quite live up to what was promised online. It left me wondering whether this is just the case for this specific location, or if the brand’s image is more style over substance. I would be open to trying another Meliá property in the future to see if the experience is more aligned with the brand’s promise.

Bring shower shoes.
First, you can’t beat the location. Looking out over the water, just a few meters away, as you’re eating breakfast, is simply amazing.
I have nothing but good things to say about the staff; they were wonderful at answering questions and supplying recommendations.
Walkability is great. You’re ten minutes away from restaurants and an even shorter trip away from groceries.
The property itself is gorgeous.
The gym is spacious and well equipped.
However, I’m really surprised at the state of the shower in the room. Not only had the grout severely mildewed, but there was black-looking mold growing in the corner.
To their credit, when I mentioned it to reception, they sent maintenance staff down as soon as they arrived in the morning. They re-caulked around the shower.
At the price point of this hotel, I feel that it’s something that should have been addressed long before a guest notices black mold.
I’m thankful for the quick fix, but I still can’t say that I enjoyed using the shower.

Unacceptable customer service during heavy rains
I had a confirmed booking at Meliá Ibiza, but a tropical storm hit the island — flights were canceled, the city was flooded, and reaching Ibiza was literally impossible. Despite sending documentation from the airline and news reports about the storm, the hotel refused to refund or even offer a credit.
It’s extremely disappointing that a so-called 4-star hotel would prioritize profit over basic fairness and safety during a natural disaster. I expected empathy and flexibility, not rigid policies that punish guests for events completely outside their control.
If you value integrity and good customer service, look elsewhere.

We chose this hotel as it’s on the red cliffs of Santa Eulalia. We had walked past it last year and thought it was beautiful, and honestly it is. To wake up and walk straight out on the cliffs is amazing, grounding and peaceful.
That said, we chose the level upgrade with a sea view. Rooms are great and have everything however the room service and cleanliness is enough for me not to come back. Room service basically means doing the bed and changing the towels, but they leave old coffee cups and bottles of water. Literally don’t even touch or clean around them. It’s actually amazing and shocking. This level of cleanliness matches the services of the rest of the staff and to be honest the general service of the island. Seems to be getting more aggressive and impatient every year.
Also with the Level upgrade, you’d expect valet or free parking, but they charge you €40 euros extra per day for parking unless yo self park if you’re lucky to find it on the road. For the limited number of Level rooms I’d expect parking and service overall.

We spent part of our honeymoon here and had a wonderful time! We did upgrade to Levels and had a beautiful waterfront view with large balcony. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. We enjoyed the different pools, and amenities like the daily happy hour and a massage. The staff are so attentive and kind! We would definitely come back.

The hotel is beautiful, with a great view, in a quiet location. Rooms are well designed, very clean and I appreciated the comfort of the beds. However, the food was disappointing and for this reason I wouldn't recommend the half board. Breakfast was good, but most of plates/cutleries were dirty. The gym is spacious and well equipped. I would suggest to add havier weight dumbbells as the heaviest is 14 kg. Overall more attention from the staff to the guests would make the experience better.

We had an amazing 5-night stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the experience was outstanding. A very special mention goes to Leola, who made our stay unforgettable. She was incredibly helpful with the check-in process and went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. She booked restaurants for us, always checked in to make sure we were having a nice day, and was genuinely eager to help with anything we needed. Her warm and attentive service really made us feel at home.
The room itself was very nice, comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed after a day of exploring. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a wonderful stay.

We were here last year and returned to repeat what was a great experience. Well, things have changed a bit......alas, the delightful scent dispensers in the corridors seem to have gone. The music around the pool is much louder. The staff are still the most polite and helpful I've ever encountered. The Greek restaurant on the beach front is still terrific including occasional folk dancing and plate breaking ... the pool remains super clean but alas devoid of any discernible drinks service. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, though table clearing is a bit sleepy. The morning live musician seems to have disappeared. A pity. The rooms are clean and refreshingly minimalistic. Never enough hangers (anywhere?) The beds are super comfortable and climate control plus ceiling fan is excellent. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Still a great modern 5* but beware of penny pinching.

We can recommend this hotel without any reservation! The location is very well situated between the beautiful town of Estepona and vibrant Marbella. The staff is very courteous, friendly and helps with every request. The breakfast is very fresh, fresh and tasty. The room, like the whole hotel, is very nicely furnished and everything is new and comfortable. The private area on the beach is very nice and can be used free of charge. The staff here is also very friendly and eager to fulfill every wish. The access to the sea is good and you can do sports, as there are paid facilities next to it. Had a wonderful week at this hotel. We were a large group due to a wedding however the service and the rooms were excellent. The food at the breakfast buffet was always hot and tables were quickly cleared. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very spacious and the cleaning staff were always efficient and friendly. My only complaint would be the price of ice creams for the children priced at €7 each!! The walk into Puerto Banus only took 10 minutes so not far if you wanted nightlife. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. Thanks to everyone at Meliá Banús. Would definitely recommend.

Had a wonderful time at the hotel. We went as a large group for a team building experience - the hotel provided space, support and great availability to our needs. The staff was incredibly friendly and the facilities were clean and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms are specious and bed is comfortable. The hotel has everything you need for a short business trip and is well located to the Center and beach. The pool was cold but other than that everything was perfect.
Special thanks to Marina who supervised our stay and was incredible throughout the whole process.

Firstly, I would like by saying the hotel looked amazing but the staff made the experience a disaster! Staff are extremely rude, they don’t help, they don’t greet people just stare. The food at the hotel is also terrible! I requested for a well done burger and it came medium and I complained and didn’t eat the food, they still made me pay for it. I complained to the manager the following few days and they said that they can’t find my money on the system. So basically saying that I never paid for the food. She then persisted to state that she will call me when I get back to the U.K. to get this sorted for me. I have had no emails or calls from the manager. This hotel service is just fully trash and I will never recommend and will never come back! I was holding out for writing a review to see if the manager would reach out but NO nothing! I am going to make sure I write a review everywhere in regards to this hotel so no one can experience what we did.
Each day we had to ask the cleaners to clean our room other wise our room would not get cleaned!
I can’t believe hotel has made my first experience in Marbella so bad that I don’t even want to go back to Marbella.
As I was complaining on my last day there were other people complaining! This just shows how bad the service is!

Had a wonderful relaxing stay in this hotel. Unusually, all staff here were excellent and seem to get on really well together, which made our experience very special indeed. Amalia was amazing - such a wonderful person, so helpful, generous and cheerful from the outset... we are so grateful, and we really enjoyed Christina's stretching exercises - for the benefit we received, and also for her kindness. If you want a relaxed, welcoming environment, we would absolutely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

A wonderful hotel where NOTHING is missing. Clean, great food and the service is really one of the best I ever had. Every wish is read from the eyes. We were Lucky to be served by raffaele for 3 days and he was simply perfect. Top service! Compliments !!!

We recently stayed at this hotel as a young family with a 12-month-old baby. Overall, it’s a beautiful property with excellent facilities, and we had a mostly positive experience — hence the four-star rating. However, we encountered a frustrating situation that I feel is important to share.
The first few days were excellent. We paid for a sea view room on arrival, and the service, atmosphere, and attention to detail all felt in line with the hotel's 5-star reputation. Unfortunately, the room we were given had several areas of dislodged flooring, which created visible gaps and posed a safety hazard for our baby who had just started walking.
When I raised the issue at reception, I expected a prompt and professional response. Instead, I was passed between several staff members over the course of several hours.
The handling of the situation was rigid and dismissive. At no point did anyone from the front desk come to inspect the issue in the room, which was incredibly disappointing. Eventually, a manager did show me another room and later came up to our original one — she was the only person who took the time to understand and resolve the issue, for which I was grateful. But by that point, several hours had been wasted, and the experience had already been soured.
That said, many other members of staff were exceptional. The restaurant team were absolutely fantastic — they made us feel welcome every day and went out of their way to engage with our son. It made a huge difference to us as first-time parents travelling with a baby. Similarly, the staff in the crèche and baby play area were amazing, showing genuine warmth and care throughout our stay.
Since the issue was raised, we appreciated the gestures extended to us by the hotel, and we don’t take them for granted. The hotel itself has a lot to offer, and most of the team were a credit to the place. Unfortunately, the way the front desk handled our situation fell short of what I’d expect from a hotel of this calibre — and was the one part of our experience that let things down.

AWFUL SERVICE & BUGS!!!!
This is not a five star hotel! It is incredibly outdated and dirty. The door to my balcony did not fully close and the room was INVESTED with ants!! There were even ants in the bed and a mosquito on my pillow. There were also hairs in the sheets, mold in the shower and stains on the pillows. The room service food came cold and was incredibly overpriced. At check in they said there was a coffee machine that could be used anytime, but it was “broken” so I had to pay 9 euros and go to the bar to get a coffee. They charged me for things in the minibar I did not use!! They also did not help me with my luggage when I was leaving even though there was no one else in the lobby. I was originally going to stay 2 nights but would never stay here again. There are much better cleaner options on Mallorca.

An exceptional hotel with amazing views.
We booked the ocean side suite and from arrival our expectations were surpassed. It is truly a beautiful property and has staff that make every effort to make you feel welcome. The morning breakfast was AMAZING. Coming from America where the hotels are overpacked and super sized, staying at this hotel that seemed untouched by time was refreshing. The history of the hotel is also interesting and reminds you that things remain excellent if cared for properly. 10/10 will be staying again.

I stayed one night, booked through Amex Travel for £800. While the hotel is beautiful and well-located, the experience didn’t live up to the premium price tag.
The reception and management team, especially Nora, were kind and welcoming — which I appreciated. However, the overall service fell short of what I would expect from a property in this category.
I checked in around 8pm and wasn’t offered any complimentary services — no breakfast, no free parking — which is often standard at this level, especially when booking through a premium travel program.
The most disappointing part came at checkout. I was rushed out right at 12pm, with no courtesy late checkout — not even a 30-minute extension. When I called to politely request just a short delay, the front desk staff responded rudely, stating they were fully booked and I “had to come out immediately.” For a supposed luxury hotel, this kind of rigidity and tone is surprising. A 12:30 checkout is a small gesture that many similar hotels offer without question.
When I brought up my concern at checkout, I asked the management team whether a small gesture, like a complimentary breakfast or parking, could be offered given how short and pressured the experience was. While they were polite, nothing was done. The words were nice — but unfortunately, words feel empty when there’s no action behind them.
I was genuinely planning to return with friends in the future, but after this experience, I’m seriously reconsidering. This hotel has potential, but the service culture and flexibility need to rise to the level of the price tag it commands.

Pros: nice 5* hotel. Fantastic sea views. Great breakfast. Very easy to get to Palma and Puerto Portals.
Cons: The poolside service is poor and not what you would expect of a 5* resort. It is also not possible to order food to the poolside which is expected at a 5* resort.
There is also a shortage of beds at peak times from Friday to Monday where beds are reserved with towels from 7am. Again not what you would expect from a resort of this level.
The air conditioning is also not particularly good. We struggled with heat in our room.

Fantastic experience here. The room was very comfortable and nice. Beautiful views and outdoor patio. Everything smells good throughout the hotel.
Nice beach club, great pool, and relatively easy access into the sea, and the water is perfect. The beach club restaurant was phenomenal, some of the best Paella I’ve ever had. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal, one of the best I’ve had at a luxury hotel.
Staff were all very friendly , excellent service all around.
Location is perfect, feels like a nice quaint beach town, like Santa Monica in LA. But not too much in the heart of the touristy areas. Main town center is a short walk away with great restaurants bars and gelato spots, and a short easy cheap bus ride into center of Palma.
All around great bang for your buck, my only regret was we didn’t stay more nights! Would come back in a heart beat. RUN, don’t walk to spend your next vacation here.

From the moment we arrived back at Don Pepe we felt 'back at home.' Lovely warm welcome and speedy check in to a Red Level Room. Beautiful sea view room - which was serviced daily by the charming room team. All the staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay. The beautiful grounds help you to relax between meals. Hopefully the 'Breakfast Room' will return once the hotel has been refurbished. Can't wait to return in 2027

Location is the best and therefore fabulous views all over the coast.
Gardens are beautiful as is the lobby bar and terrace
Red Level rooms are spacious ,function well with balconies to the sea. Housekeeping is very good
All the staff here are some of the best you will ever come across. Charming, helpful professional...they make this hotel what it is...a lovely place to stay

Came for my usual week with family. The hotel is still as amazing as ever! The staff are unbelievable! From Noelle and Abel, to Enrique on reception, Isabel (guest services), Raul and Alvaro round the pool, and Antonio and others waiting on us. And so many guests from last year who come back year after year. It’s like a family, and all down to the incredible staff at this amazing hotel. Nothing is too much trouble
