Most of the staff is friendly (special thanks to Octavio). The hotel is clean and the breakfast is good and versatile. The spa is small but nice with a wonderful view, especially the salt bath was a great experience. If the sunbed area at the beach gets full, they send you with a ticket to the next area which is nice. Overall a lovely experience. The minuses I can think of is that some of the staff at the breakfast are a bit flegmatic. For example when we told one that there was small pieces of broken glass in the coffee cup (which is pretty problematic because it almost ended up in our stomach) he just stared at us and said nothing. The plates and cups were also often dirty, so the washing machine needs to be updatet. Also, the cleaning of the rooms is inconsistent. Not bad per se, the room was kept clean, but I would suggest some process that it is kept similar every day. Also some of the toothbrushes etc in the bathroom were opened by previous guests and not replaced which was a bit disgusting. I am also a bit disappointed that even though many signs in the hotel mentioned that it is not okay to reserve sunbeds the staff did nothing about it. There were lots of people who took the best beds and had just their towels laying there for hours.

I found the restaurant staff cold and uninviting. They never said hello or addressed us. Our maid was friendly, but the waiters could use a class in treating the guests nicely, making all guests feel welcome. I found the people outside of the hotel more friendly than where we were actually staying.

This hotel makes other 4* hotels look bad. Excellent, professional staff. Lovely food. Spacious bathrooms. Wonderful location. Nice touches: 1) A second towel to use at the beach or pool 2) Free sun beds on beach (10 meters from the hotel). 3) They post international post cards 4) Room has kettle, hair dryer, bidet, fridge.. very comfy bed and quiet rooms. 5) The car hire company comes to reception to set the lease up. The car is delivered to the hotel. You just leave it in the car park when finished. So easy. 6) Free parking at hotel 7) Gorgeous views of the beach from the balcony. 8) Stones throw from a SPAR ( right next to hotel). Ive tried other places which are similarly priced on the Canaries. They have all been a disappointment compared to this hotel. Recently been back and it’s just as good as I remember. One thing to consider re. weather if you plan to visit the north of the island June 15th to September 15th. Google ‘Donkeys Belly’.

I arrived alone with a small child, but in three days I realized that this hotel not only does not support family vacations, but also creates very bad situations. A lovely hotel in the best location in Las Palmas. The beds and rooms are comfortable. The hotel is quite old now, but well maintained. The rooms are slightly dated but in a charming way – they’re quite lovely really. Breakfast is fantastic. The gyn, spa and rooftop swimming pool also great. Supervised children can use the spa from 10am - 12, after which it is exclusive for adults. But with the barrier reef protected Las Canteras beach on your doorstep, you don’t really need anything else!

Currently staying with my partner in the double room (has a private terrace) and honestly have to say has been one of if not the best hotel we've stayed in. The location is fantastic; with only a 10 minute walk to the beach and any amenities you may need. Staff at Gold are genuinely the best - anything you may possibly need they go out of their way to accommodate with a smile. Rooms are beautiful; we have a small kitchenette alongside the terrace which is quite cozy. Spotless rooms as well, cleaned daily. The ease of access with the app alongside the friendliness of the staff have really made our stay so much more comfortable, and we've still got plenty of time left! Can not recommend this hotel enough.

This is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed at. Stayed here last week. The atmosphere on arrival was so welcoming, we received a glass of wine a nice touch. The rooms are very clean and functional, the kitchen area has everything you need, even with basic touches added washing up liquid, cleaner ant tea towel, little things that show the hotel cares. They provide towels for the pool area and the lifeguard Roberta works tirelessly to keep the area clean, as do all the staff who are so friendly. Our welcome on Monday night by the owner with nibbles and wine was another special bonus. Excellent breakfast, fresh produce even had caviar, well worth the £15 per person. From start to finish this hotel cares for it's clientele. A real credit to the hospitality sector. Simply fantastic.

Gold By Marina isn’t a large resort or hotel, and it doesn’t aim to be. It’s a cozy place where you quickly feel at home. The employees are incredibly nice and welcoming. Special thanks to Christian and Javier for helping us book an activity we couldn’t book online and going the extra mile when needed. They also had fantastic dinner and food spot recommendations, which we loved since we prefer quality food over touristy places. Speaking of quality food, the breakfast was amazing! Freshly cooked eggs, bacon, pancakes, and waffles made to order, served with a warm smile from the kitchen staff. In the morning, you can even start your day with some bubbles, which is hard to say no to. The pool facilities are great—our only feedback is that they could stay open a bit longer so we could enjoy them more. The cocktails are also excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Gold By Marina.

Room was good. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Can't fault the staff for friendliness and hospitality. A fresh bottle of wine or sparking was in the room every day. A birthday card and wine on my birthday. Used the gym which was good but the one massive problem for me was the 24/7 noise from the refrigeration unit on the roof of the supermarket directly facing all the balconies. As soon as you opened the balcony door it was all you could hear. I had to use earplugs when sat on the balcony and it was still oppressive. I was on the top floor so imagine I got it the worst. Possibly lower down was OK. By the pool you couldn't hear it and walking at ground level around the hotel and outside no. But in the room and on the balcony..... it really was just there constantly. I don't like to leave bad reviews I like to be fair. As said staff great and room fine but wouldn't stay again because of it.

We absolutely love this place. After traveling to Gran Canaria for many, many years, we have found our forever hotel! The staff are the friendliest, most helpful and approachable team you could ever wish to meet. Silvia, Nancy Eugenio, Gabrielle, Andrea Alejandro (out room cleaner) and all the other staff were always helpful, polite, and smiling. The staff are a credit to Gold! The staff take customer service so seriously, they have a complimentary cocktail party on Mondays where the manager, personally speaks to all his guests. The hotel itself is an adults only with a chilled vibe, it is spotlessly clean and in a superb location for all amenities. The restaurant serves a very nice and comprehensive breakfast until 12:00. The poolside is immaculate with lots of comfy sunbeds and break out areas. So, we have voted with our wallets and we have booked our THIRD trip there in May 2024. If you are thinking about staying here....do it, you wont regret it!

Beautiful location, fabulous hotel, excellent staff, breakfast menu was delicious, and good quantities of everything even if you were a little late down. Dinner buffet was ok, wasn’t always hot, but lots of selection. My biggest issue was we asked for a low level pool view room with a disabled shower a good month in advance. However we were on the third floor with a low level bath which was no good for my disabled mum, she didn’t have the confidence to get in and shower, she had to spend the week having strip washes which wasn’t ideal. The hotel did however arrange a wheelchair for us for a small charge and refundable deposit from a disability shop over the road. Lovely hall bar, but be aware they only open at 5.30pm, not everyone wants to go to the pool bar for afternoon drinks when the pool area is so busy.

I stayed here for a week. The grounds of the hotel are very nice with well established vegetation and trees. The pool area is nice but very crowded The rooms are dated and need a full refurbishment. Television was old and had two English channels. There was no smart tv. The average age of the guests here is between 65 and 90. Wallpaper was loose from the wall. Smoke wafting from neighbours balcony into my room After a couple of days I stopped eating in the restaurant. The food was very poor quality and the staff were the most unfriendliest restaurant staff I have ever met, no greetings no pleasantries, just rude. I ate twice in the Michelin star restaurant which was excellent but is not part of the Hotel group and is expensive at €160pp. Other than that I went to the village for food including breakfast. You are assigned to the same table at the restaurant for the full week which I thought was ridiculous and reminded me of boarding school. Overall I could not recommend this hotel based on the quality of the food and if you stay certainly don’t do half board it’s not worth it. The hotel management insist on wearing long trousers in the restaurant. Yet people were walking around in tracksuits, flip flops and open tops at dinner, the food doesn’t warrant making the effort to dress up Think carefully before booking this hotel, it’s not a luxury hotel, it’s a travel agent hotel with a 2 or 3 star rating at most

The numbers are not bad, but they have been worn out for a long time. Requires renewal. The staff is not interested at all. The hotel is not the worst option, I have seen worse ones, but I will not choose here again. The age of the audience is mostly 65-90. When you have breakfast or dinner, you feel like you are in a nursing home. Living here for a week, on the sixth day I wore shorts to dinner due to a misunderstanding. I was kicked out of dinner, I never came back. At dinner, each pensioner has a bottle of wine on the table for a separate payment, there is no other option, water is also for an additional payment, I think the staff wants to hear them, because it is not possible to buy a glass. You can only have small wine, like they give on the plane. The food is quite uniform, I was expecting more. If you don't order wine at dinner, remove the glasses from the table. But it is not clear why they were installed before that. If you order wine, you can also bring glasses along with the bottle. This moment causes confusion, because you remain uninteresting to the staff

Absolutely loved the hotel. A lot of thought and planning has gone into the layout and gardens. Beautiful. Although it can cater for about 1000 guests, it doesn't feel crowded as there is so much space. Rooms and beds are very comfortable. Didn't use the tv. Everyone was helpful and friendly, nothing was too much. Food was delicious, an excellent variety. Would highly recommend. Best hotel I've ever stayed in.

The hotel was located in a nice area close to the center and the beach. We loved the choice of food in the restaurant, and even though I'm a vegetarian I had plenty of things to chose from. We were welcomed and treated very nicely by the reception staff and the housekeeping ladies. The only thing to mention is that we could not sleep well as the beds were very hard. Also the bathroom needs to be renovated. However, the room was big and clean and we had a great view of the sea.

we had a lovely stay at Bronze Playa. The staff are friendly and willing to help; the pool/outdoor area is lovely and spacious, with plenty of choice at the bar. Both breakfast and dinner were lovely, with plenty of choice and a different menu each evening. The rooms are a little outdated, particularly the bathrooms, and the towels provided are definitely showing their age! That said, the bed sheets were clean and comfy, and the room is lovely and spacious, with a great balcony! Overall, the hotel is great and would stay again!

2024 april I spent 1 week here with my toddler. It was a nice hotel, the staff was nice and the food was great. - i stayed in double room with sea view on the 5th floor, however ,be aware that there is another hotel in front also. so my view was mainly the other hotel and sea on the right side far away and the left side a bit. But mainly i saw the other hotel. It didnt bother me much however because i didnt spend my time sitting on the balcony. But the room is facing the street so it was noisy. Im a light sleeper so wasnt ideal, but was managable. - maybe its normal, but you have to pay if you want to change room. It is 20 euro i think however i didnt change. Luggage storage is 5 euro per item. - wifi was good, but had to sign in again and again almost every day - location was good, but since its surrounded with streets, there was noise at night (mostly cars) - beach is like 5mins walk, but you have to go down quite some stairs and then back up, so its not a straight walk to the beach. Its normal in that area - stores close by

Just spent 9 days here and is probably the comfiest hotel I have stayed in. The staff are amazing. The facilities are brilliant. 3 pools to choose from plus a jacuzzi. Food range brilliant for all tastes. Breakfast is plentiful. Lots of different choices from Continental to English. Only downfall is there is not much around the area but it's only a short taxi ride to the main centre. Local shops plus a superdino shopping centre within walking distance. The weather in November is hit and miss but when it's hot it's hot. Few rainy nights but nothing major. Will definitely stay here again. Definitely a 4* hotel. Bungalows very well maintained but could do with bigger fridge for self catering. Cleaners 5 days a week except Thursday and Sunday.

Great hotel. Our room was very clean and modern and well located. A small kitchen area with microwave, kettle, coffee maker and utensils. Good AC in the room to keep cool. Outdoor furniture for the room, we had a room with a rooftop terrace which had 2 sunbeds, chairs and an umbrella. Food was fantastic, rotated each night and each morning food was fresh and tasty. They had a fresh egg station and each night had a fresh selection cooked in front (normally 1 fish and 1 meat). Drinks were not included in our half board but we're reasonably priced. Staff were kind and helpful. Location is slightly out of the way so a car is a big bonus here.

It's a nice place but if you don't have a car it's hard to get by,it's very isolated and public transportation is very far. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with a front and back terrace. Breakfast and dinner have a lot a variety and everything is delicious. The pool is great and also very clean. You can smoke everywhere but the rooms. The stuff is helpful and nice. But for someone with a cat allergy is not a good place as there are cats everywhere.

We had ants in our bed, on our nightstand and in the bathroom. The cleaners forgot to leave toilet paper when they “cleaned”. The cleaning felt inconsistent and not thoroughly done. We booked the hotel because it had availability access to the pool (a ramp) and some rooms had ramps up also. We had one room who needed accessibility accommodation which they did not offer, they put them in a room where they had to lift their walkers. Did not feel safe. They gave us room furthest from the elevator and from the ramp which meant they had to walk more. They tried to use the stair climber to access the indoor dining hall, but first time they didn’t find the remote and second time the stair climber stopped halfway.

Everything is a 30 min walk away. If you have a rental, like walking or dont mind spending 10-20 euro a day on taxi, it is very nice. Pool was a bit cold. Everything else was nice. Recommend opting in for a rooftop bungalow if you want some privacy. (The hotel was in no way crowded, but still nice to be all alone). Would visit again

Amazing hotel, views are spectacular. Pool areas are really good. Food was really nice and freshly cooked. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Entertainment was on until 11.30pm everynight and the table service for drinks here was super efficient. Would definitely recommend and would go back. 2 slight annoyances for us were the room cleaning wasn't in keeping with the rest of the stay and should be better. Also the toilet did not have door and was a little too open for us. All in all though, loved our stay!

Reception and public areas starting to look a bit tired and dated compared to newer 4 star hotels we have stayed in recently. Areas are poorly lit. Glass and all surfaces need cleaning and kept on top of. Hole in ceiling to fix a water leak needs repairing. Lift down to promenade was out of action for the whole week we visited which means a walk up 10+ flights of stairs, a walk up a very steep road around to the rear or a taxi @ 5.30 Euros each way to the centre of the resort. Room is spacious but feels a bit sparsely decorated. Bed linen not changed in a week. Tv remote never worked. Batteries had leaked inside. Great sea view from the large balcony Bathroom is also large and feels like it has been updated recently. Shower is unusually large. Temperature stability was a issue. It requires constant alteration to maintain the correct temperature. Shower gel dispenser broken. Restaurant and food was good on whole. Lumpy milk for cereal. Some food was served cold but on the whole was acceptable with a good choice. Pool area is great. Gym is of a good standard and all equipment works.

Everything you need and more, the staff are amazing, and can't do enough to make sure you have an amazing stay. Very family and child-friendly with evening entertainment for kids followed by various acts afterwards daily. If you want something more lively the town is just a two-minute drive away in a taxi from the hotel entrance. Some great high-end shops in the town along with loads of great places to eat out with bars and restaurants and sports bars etc. Amazing location and place to stay.

If you want a hotel with a sea view you get that here. Our room was a good size with a very private balcony and sunbeds.. although there were a few cosmetic issues and plug sockets difficult to get to. The floors were back to front. Floor 7 was on the bottom and 1 obviously up top with 3 more floors above that and the lifts weren't always working in our block. Don't rate the waiter table service for drinks in the entertainment hall of an evening because you could be waiting ages. Entertainment was good every night.. Restaurant food was ok nothing special. All inclusive drinks local brands and not the best. We had all inclusive plus didn't mean a thing to this hotel. Enjoyed our stay anyway

Such a good and wonderful Hotel. With good service, nice rooms and a lovely atmosphere, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. we can highly recommend staying here during your stay in Gran Canaria. What we would like the hotel to develop is to have a more calm and harmonious breakfast, lunch and dinner time. There was a very high noise level and a lot of running when many people were there at the same time.

Just got home from a week here. The hotel was lovely, the rooms were all clean and well equipped, the location was pretty good, and the staff were fantastic. When we arrived we were put in ground floor room, it was a nice room but we weren't a fan of our outdoor area opening straight up onto the poolside, so we went to see the receptionist who arranged for us to be moved to another room the following morning. The new room was bigger, on the third floor, and had a good-sized balcony with sunbeds, which was a suntrap from 13:30 until sunset. I never quite caught the receptionists name, I think it was Jayny or Jaydy. She was fantastic and went above and beyond to resolve a few issues we had. Because we had friends staying in a nearby hotel, we went bed and breakfast only and ate at nearby restaurants with our friends; however, the food smelled amazing and the menu looked varied and a bit upmarket while still reasonably priced. The on-site facilities were great, and we made use of the pools and jacuzzi multiple times. The main pool area is suntrap, and even though it's situated near a very busy road intersection, the architecture of the building deflects the noise, making the pool area and the overlooking balconies actually quite peaceful. I have rated the overall hotel as 4/5 stars simply because there's always room for improvement, and the car park is awful and cramped with spaces that are too small. I have rated location as 4/5 stars simply because of personal preference. I like a place closer to the beach with a sea view. This hotel is, however, well located with plenty of things to do around it.

Staying 4th to 11th Nov 2024. Absolutely beautiful apartment/bungalow. Staff are fantastic, lovely warm and friendly. Can't do enough to help. Food has been exceptional too. Beautiful complex with fantastic amenities just a stone throw away from The Yumbo centre 5*s from us.

We know Gran Canaria well but stayed here for the first time in Sep 2024. We loved it. We booked a XTRA Superior room and it was well worth the extra money, a bigger apartment with separate kitchen, bedroom, living area and bathroom. Hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too with a large range to choose from. With three separate pools too there was no issue with sunloungers as they was plenty to go around. From a location point of view it was close to the Yumbo, a but of a walk to the beach but we are very familiar with the area now so suited us well.

We stayed for a week starting 16th June in one of the superior rooms and worth every penny. The room was spotless on arrival and stayed spotless during our stay thanks to the girls (especially Olga) who cleaned our room every day. Every single member of staff made us feel welcome and special. 20 minute walk down hill to the beach, which was great as we like a morning walk and only 4 euros back in a taxi. Food at the hotel lovely especially the al a carte restaurant, the steak cut like butter, delicious. All in all can not fault the hotel.

Barbacan is a nice stay on Gran Canaria. We stayed in a 2 bed- and 2 bad room. The room itself was relatively clean and well maintained. Two plus points are the beds and the showers. The airconditioning has not been cleaned for a long time. The temperature inside the bungalow cannot be cooled down with the airco capacity of the aircos in the bedrooms. This makes is at the end of day very warm. The atmosphere around the hotel can be subscribed as very "Dutch". Some people like this, but it is not giving a real holiday feeling for us. There are 3 pools. One only for adults. The two other for children as wel. The pool is mostly overcrowded during the day and is too small for the amount of rooms. The temperature of the pool is very warm. If you want to cool down from the sun this is not very convenient. We rented a car at the airport during our stay, this is definitively something we recommend. It is cheap and provides a lot of flexibility. You can park for free at the hotel. The service in the hotel is great! We had a fine stay but most probably will not go here again.

We had an incredible stay at H10 Costa Mogan. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. We booked the hot tub suite and we had the best room with double view of the pool and the sea. We would highly recommend this room. On top of all the amazing amenities and room that we received, I have to say that the animation team made our holiday. Dani, Gabrielle and Christian made everyday new and fun with many activities both in the pool and around the pool. They really know how to have fun and make your holiday the best. They were making us laugh day in day out, and they work very hard to ensure you are having a great time. Keep up the hard work guys, memories like we have, make your jobs all worth it. 10/10 Would definitely stay here again. Georgia & Sherry x

My wife and I spent two weeks at this hotel, in September 2024 We liked: Reception and lobby, nicely decorated, spacious. Room comfortable, although the open bathroom in the hallway is a surprising idea. Staff at reception, very polite, patient, helpful. They do what they can with what they have. The cleanliness here is impeccable. What's more, we only met one cockroach during our entire stay, and that was in the downstairs bathroom, not in the room. This is rare in the Canary Islands. The food is very decent for this type of buffet restaurant. The variety is satisfying and the quality is very good. The animation crew are young guys full of positive energy. They never managed to convince us to join in the activities, yet they tried every day with a smile. Fantastic bartender at the bar in the evening. Full of energy and smiles, despite very difficult working conditions. WiFi works surprisingly well throughout the hotel. At the pool it does not work at all instead. We did not enjoy: The hotel is old. It has not been extensively renovated but only painted white paint. Who knows, maybe the old floors will still gain some (historical) value one day. The hotel does not have 3 swimming pools. We were misled by this information. There is one pool available to the general public. The second and third belong to the second part of the complex, which is a building with private flats. Hotel guests have no access to them. The pergolas and lounge beds shown on the website around the shallow pool (paddling pool) are also not available without paying an additional fee of €30 per person per day. NOWHERE in the offer is this specified. The hotel does not have a car park. There are parking meters on the street. The hotel building is connected to the building where the private flats are. Everything that happens in the apartment building can be seen and heard in the pool area of the hotel. Each flat owner can do renovations when they want and how they want. During our stay for a week we could hear a lot of noise of tiles being tiled and walls being demolished. The fantastic animation team tried to drown out this noise with loud music at the pool, which was the opposite effect. No chance of relaxing in such a noisy place. The rooms have very poor noise insulating windows. Performances with loud music outside make it impossible to sleep or even watch TV comfortably until 22:30 local time, which is 23:30 CET. Entrances to the rooms are arranged from a corridor open to the outside in the form of a balcony, which is adjacent to a rock wall. Between the building and the rock is a boiler room with large units whose operation can be clearly heard in the room at night. The hotel is dramatically short of bartenders and waiters. Those that are there do not always know the word ‘lemon’ in English. In the bar in the evening there is one brave bartender who has to serve a hundred customers and clean the bar and tables. Directly in front of the hotel building is a rocky, very neglected beach. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the actual beach, but there are not even toilets there.

**Review: Disappointing Stay at H10 Costa Morgan** I recently stayed at H10 Costa Morgan and booked a suite with a jacuzzi tub, expecting a luxurious experience. Unfortunately, it was anything but. When I arrived, the room was extremely warm and took over a full day to cool down to a comfortable temperature. When I raised this issue with the maintenance staff, particularly an employee named Miro, I was met with condescending remarks. He rudely suggested that I should have stayed in my original room instead of switching. I also booked the all-inclusive package, which was a major letdown. The food options are limited to the buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with set times and a very repetitive menu. After 10:30 PM, there are no food options available anywhere in the hotel. When I asked the reception staff for recommendations for late-night food, they were unhelpful and simply stated there was nothing available. The jacuzzi tub in my suite was another disappointment. It took two hours to warm up after turning it on, and that was only after maintenance had worked on it. For all the hassle, the hotel manager offered me a €30 pass to the beach club as compensation, but it hardly made up for the subpar experience. To add insult to injury, I booked this suite four months in advance, only to find out that on the day I arrived, the same room was €50 cheaper than what I had paid. Overall, this stay was far from the relaxing getaway I had hoped for. Save your money and pick another property—you'll be much happier elsewhere.

Stayed here recently with a family of 8, the staff were incredibly helpful/friendly, the location of the hotel is great it isn’t too far from Puerto Rico or Maspalomas (both good places to visit when on Gran Canaria). We had an issue with our room in which the shower kept leaking and there would be water on the floor so we had to keep putting towels down everywhere but they had sent a repair man and the issue was no longer after that. We really enjoyed our stay :)

We just wanted to share our experience at this lovely place where we stayed for our mini moon after our wedding. The staff here is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable throughout our stay. For the first time, we decided to go all inclusive, and it was a delightful experience. They offer a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a daily specialty dish. Each evening brings something fun to anticipate, along with unlimited drinks. While we personally prefer exploring local restaurants and bars, we found the all-inclusive option great value for money. We do look forward to returning soon to continue exploring the island. Another excellent stay at Neptuno—this was our third year visiting, and it did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly, the service is excellent, and there's a great range of food available. The pool bar terrace is lovely, and the pool area is kept very clean and tidy. The hotel is gay-friendly, with a mix of gay and straight couples, friends, and small groups. It’s a very relaxing environment—there's no rush in the morning for sunbeds, no loud music, or disturbances around the pool, and the amenities are well maintained. The quality of the evening entertainment is mixed, but they did have a great tropical-themed night while we were there, which was very popular. The location is perfect for the Yumbo Centre and just a short walk to the beach. Although it doesn't affect us, the only downside might be that there are a lot of stairs, so the hotel may not be accessible for those in a wheelchair.

It's been a pleasure to stay at HL Suitehotel. Starting with a warm welcome, great service all around, lovely jacuzzi area (also clothing optional) and good food. It also was no problem to stay there after checkout. Spending the time at the pool and taking a shower was no problem after checkout. We stayed at Suite Hotel in July ‘23. The hotel check in was fast and the guy was very friendly, he gave us a sandwich, fruit and water for the room as we arrived late at night. The room was spacious lots of wardrobe space and loads of space round beds. The balcony had table and chairs. We had a small fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Beds were really comfy. The food was excellent and we never went hungry. There’s all variety of breakfast choices, fruits, hot breakfast. Lunch is just as good and dinner choice is fantastic. The dessert section was unbeatable with fancy cakes and ice cream 🍨 We were all inclusive and the drinks were local spirits and beers but definitely were fine. U can ask for your favourite brand and pay extra. The rooftop bar was our fave at night with lively music playing and a great atmosphere. The pools are big enough and have plenty of loungers so we had no issues with that. It gets pretty windy at times so u might want towel grips for your sunbed. Definitely plan on going back another time.

Room is comfortable and decent size. It’s regularly clean. Nice balcony overlooking the playa del Inglés. Location is good, close to the beach, bars and restaurants and bus stops. Service, disappointing! No one to great you and take your luggage upon arrival. No welcome drink though you can see the glasses on the counter all ready to be served once guests are at the reception. Breakfast, no table service, you have to get your own hot drinks and most time the machine is broken and caused large queues. No table service in the evening for drinks, due to lack of staff we waited for 20mins to get a drink. Some staff behind the bar are not properly trained but shout out to Sergio, Victor, Yessica, Azaria and Lesley who always tried their best. Food, it’s okay. Different theme every night. Entertainment, again it’s okay. Songs are very repetitive but hands down the best one is Wednesday evening @giobox excellent entertainer…always including the guests and very interactive! I have to add and must say that this hotel has one of the best rooftop bar! The view is amazing and opens till late. Just that the lift is a let down, can only accommodate 4 guests at a time. If overloaded, you’ll be stuck! Beware! Dress code, according to some web you supposed to be wearing long pants for dinner, this is a joke as everyone wear what they want. (Short, swimwear flip flops was seen every night) makes the place less classy. The hotel is an average hotel but doesn’t stand out from other hotels that we have stayed in the same area.

This was my second visit to this wonderful hotel and I intend coming back for a third visit. On our arrival we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and water in the room's fridge. My husband's birthday was during our stay and the hotel gave him a bottle of wine and chocolates which was a lovely gesture. The hotel itself is in a prime location for the beach and bus stops if you like to explore the island. All the staff employed are extremely professional and friendly particularly in the dining room. Cleanliness is a priority everywhere in the hotel, our room was cleaned to a very high standard daily. There are lots of comfortable sun beds at both pools on the ground level and up on the rooftop you can find two different sections where you can also sunbathe with the addition of jacuzzi pools to help you cool down. The hotel also offers a spa, which is well worth a visit. I did not personally go to the gym but it was available if you enjoy working out. The food is very good and there is a huge selection to choose from, so even a fussy eater would not go hungry. Each evening some of the food was based on a particular theme so it was nice to have that selection e.g Spanish evening, Indian etc. I particularly enjoyed the musical entertainment whilst dining. Wifi is free throughout the hotel. If you are looking for an adult only, chilled out relaxing break this is the hotel for you.

I just spent an incredible week at Marina Suites, From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly and attentive staff who made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The rooms are spacious, well-designed, and offer breathtaking views of the ocean. The highlight of the hotel has to be the infinity pool, which provides a stunning view of the Atlantic Sea, especially during sunrise and sunset. It almost feels like you’re swimming straight into the sea. I highly recommend the breakfast at the hotel. There’s a wide selection, but their homemade omelet truly stands out! It’s freshly made to your preference – Definitely a must-try if you’re staying here. The pictures speak for themselves, but they don’t fully capture the relaxing and serene atmosphere of the place. The pool area was always clean. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a drink in the hand and enjoy the sun. The hotel’s location is also ideal – close to great restaurants, shops, and scenic coastal walks. I also recommend "El Puerto" the restaurant at the hotel, it was good, and there was a great atmosphere. Overall, I can highly recommend Marina Suites if you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy a holiday with high comfort, excellent service, and stunning views. The suite we booked was one of their Select Suites on the sixth floor and it was really great. The the bed was big and the bedroom roomy. There was plenty of storage for clothes and shelves for bits and pieces. The bathroom was clean and never once smelt of damp, the ventilation in there was great. And again, plenty of shelf space for our things. The lounge and kitchenette area was spacious and served its purpose excellently. The balcony was fantastic, with sturdy seats, a towel railing and dining table and chairs. The view was great and the sunsets each night impressive. Housekeeping were keen and left the suite looking great on the days we had them in. Actually, all the staff we dealt with were fantastic, approachable and very helpful. The infinity pool was really lovely to use, with a great view of the sea with its busy comings and goings of ferries and boats. The two downside of the stay were 1) the amount of poolside loungers being reserved by other guests and their towels. Despite hotel policy against this behaviour, there was no enforcement of it. 2) while we did not have breakfast included, the food we did order was OK. We had lunch on two of the days and we made use of their BBQ evening. But to be honest, from our own experiences, hotel food on the Canary Islands has always been a disappointment.

This place is heaven on earth! Stunning sea views by the pool, balcony looking out on to the marina and sea, excellent food and the staff are so obliging and friendly. Great little gym also with everything one might need. Buffet breakfast is really good. A thoroughly enjoyable experience

I came here for a week to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and absolutely stunning hotel. From the staff to the rooms I couldn't find fault. I was a little disappointed that I had emailed the hotel to ask for a sea view several weeks prior to us arriving but they had put us on the second floor facing the marina with a palm tree directly in front of the balcony. I did go back to reception and asked if we could be moved but I was told the hotel was full but we could be upgraded at a cost of €20 per day. We did not let this distract us from having a good time and it was a very nice hotel.

We arrived late due to delays at the airport back home. We had a lovely welcome by the gentleman on the reception I think his name was Jan. He explained everything to us and we felt very satisfied with everything that he had said to us. We headed to our room which we had been upgraded to the ninth floor. When we opened the door we absolutely fell in love with the apartment it had everything we needed, it was spacious, clean and immediately we was very impressed. We had a coffee on the balcony then headed to bed, they must be the most comfortable beds we have slept in. In the morning we couldn't believe the views across the sea and the harbour. We loved listening to the different sounds whilst enjoying our coffees in the morning it was just beautiful. We had breakfast that morning and all of the staff was welcoming and happy there was a very good selection of food to choose from. We went as a family of six all adults, our children used the snack bar many times and was impressed with the quality and portions of the food they received. The swimming pool is perfect the views you get are amazing. I could go on and on about how lovely this hotel is and just to mention the cleaners are lovely too, many thanks for making this one of the best holidays we have had.

Brilliant hotel, staff are very welcoming and helpful. The place is kept immaculate. We stayed in the presidential suite and it was perfect for me and the misses and 2 teenagers. The food is really good. You definitely get value for money and the service is spectacular. The views around the hotel are great. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be coming back. Yes the main entrance isn't open at the moment due to some work going on but it make very little difference to your stay. We found it quite handy to come up in the lift from the road. It made sense. The gym has enough to give you a workout. Its not stacked with equipment but it does the job. The Spa is good too. We had a massage and it was brilliant. So enjoy and treat yourselves to an amazing stay at the Gloria palace royal. You will love it.

I already miss this place - it does not have a luxury touch, but everything is here. I liked their fresh food, little live music stage at dinner time, and multiple programms for adults as well even though I couldn't try any of them. Actually you will be kind of busy swimming all the time at Amadores beach, it's one of the best of the island. It was very spacious that I couldn't even figure out the floors until the last day and would get lost at every step.

Booked a double room with sea views, the pictures are a bit misleading as you only have slight lateral sea views and no view of the pool, Just the main road and an urbanisation. Disappointing as the food has been excellent in the buffet restaurant as well as the service. The Spa is very nice and allows children during certain times. I would be writing a much more positive review if it weren't for the poor view. The pool areas are also nice. I would recommend anyone booking to request not to be in block 4. I have now changed rooms for the last 2 nights so have edited my overall rating of the hotel. I will post a new picture of our view.

I stayed here for a week, with 2 children (12 years old) the hotel was very clean, with the room being cleaned and bed linen being changed daily. The all inclusive food was generally good, out of 7 days I enjoyed it 5x, the other 2 days nothing to my fancy so I just had the pizza and chips which are on the menu daily. The entertainment isn’t great for the kids it is aimed at under 8s, plenty of shops around for the kids to shop in, bracelet's etc. water sports close by, the beach is nice! The pool area is well maintained and is fairly busy but with plenty of space in the pool, i would recommend it here and the kids also said they would go back. I’d score it 8/10, it could improve on entertainment.

A Pleasant Surprise Beyond Expectations Contrary to some of the reviews we had read, we were pleasantly surprised by our stay at this hotel. The food was good, and there was a wide variety to choose from. Contrary to what some reviews suggested, the waitstaff were not rude at all; everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, especially with our little one. We arrived late in the evening, and although the receptionist mentioned that we had half an hour before the restaurant closed, she quickly gave us our wristbands and told us to head to dinner first, then complete the check-in process afterward. They also prepared a thoughtful care package for us with sandwiches, mineral water, fruit, and dessert. I’ve read some complaints about this, but in my opinion, it was a very kind and considerate gesture. Our room was extremely spacious, beautifully furnished, and the balcony was huge. The bathroom was also in perfect condition. This was the first time I experienced an aqua park with saltwater, but it didn’t feel overly salty. After leaving the water, it didn’t sting or leave a salty feeling on the skin. The pools were highly enjoyable, even with a baby. There were plenty of sun loungers and space available. One thing I found a bit odd was that they charged €4 for an umbrella, but it was a small fee and not a major issue. The nearby beach was fascinating with its glittering black sand and gently sloping ocean. We were lucky to enjoy a nice water temperature as well. The restaurant was very spacious with ample seating both inside and outside. The food selection was diverse and suited all tastes. I especially appreciated that the restaurant wasn’t strict with the dress code. While swimwear wasn’t allowed, they were fine with beachwear, which made dining much more convenient. The hotel snack bar was also great; they alternated between hamburgers and hot dogs. I personally enjoyed the hot dog more, but both were tasty. They also offered salads, sandwiches, desserts, and fruits for anyone who might get hungry between meals, although the lunch options were generous enough that this wasn’t often necessary. There were two different coffee machines in the restaurant, and there was a noticeable difference in the taste of the coffee. If you don’t like one, I suggest trying the other. The coffee itself was very good, and the selection of carbonated drinks was also nice. As for the elevators, they were indeed a bit slow, as some reviews mentioned, but this was mainly because there were only two elevators, and people would press both buttons, causing the elevators to stop unnecessarily. The hotel itself is in great condition, although I did notice that the carpet in the hallway on the 6th floor (I’m not sure about the other floors) was a bit worn, giving the hallway a slightly run-down appearance. However, the lobby was very impressive, and the furniture in the rooms was in excellent condition. The cocktails at the bar were not watered down at all – they were delicious, especially the sangria. You could also ask for ice cream anytime from the bar, along with juice for the kids, since the poolside drink machine didn’t offer non-carbonated options for them. However, the alcohol-free cocktails were a big hit with the little ones. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We came here with 2 kids, 10 & 11 for 2 weeks. The room was big enough. The beds are a little hard. Only 2 chairs to sit on as sofa is made into bed. The view from the balcony was very nice, especially at night. Cleaners kept the room very clean, and nothing was too much trouble. It's not a 4-star hotel but a very good 3 star. Staff were friendly and helpful. Due to the location, 2 weeks in one place is too long, unless you like doing nothing, so I recommend booking some trips out. The beech is a 2 minute walk where you can book paragliding and jet skis. The water park included gets very busy on Saturday and Sunday with big ques an hour before opening. The hotel needs touching up in places, but for the most part, it is very clean.

We spent a long weekend here with family. The hotel is decent enough and the location was nice, we were on the all inclusive package. We're not big drinkers, but the alcohol here was very bad. It had to be watered down or very low percentage, because none of the cocktails had any effect on us at all, even when asking for doubles and having multiple drinks. As soon as we went to an off site restaurant and had one drink, we could feel the alcohol effect immediately.

I stayed here with my two kids (9&12) for a week, and it was a great experience. The hotel was lovely, no major frills, but it is nice, immaculately clean. The rooms were very large, great view from the balcony. The staff are all very hard working, they never seem to stop, but they are all very pleasant and helpful. As buffets go, theirs was really good. A great selection of food including fresh cooked meats and eggs, great salad bar, fresh fruit, and plenty of cakes. The resort is like a little village, plenty of shops, a pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants, entertainment and of course the water park which we all loved. It maybe doesn't look as fancy as some bigger water parks, but the slides are all great, some super fast and of different kinds. The pool is massive and very clean too. Taurito is quite isolated but there are plenty of people who can direct you on how to get a bus to the neighbouring towns, Mogán (beautiful), Puerto Rico, and Maspalomas.

Room 474 I recently had the pleasure of staying at Abora Catarina by Lopesan Hotel and I can confidently say that it exceeded all of my expectations in every way possible. Originally, we were in a room on the front near the roundabout, which was just too loud for our 2 girls. The hotel reception team didn't hesitate to move us to the back of the property next to the tranquil pond below. Location: The hotel is perfectly situated, offering great views. Room: I stayed in the family room, and it was simply spectacular. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated The bed comfortable and the view from the balcony was great, especially at sunset. Service: The service is what truly sets it apart. Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly, professional, and eager to go above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. They were incredibly attentive without being intrusive, anticipating my needs before I even had to ask. It felt like staying with friends who happened to run a five-star hotel. Dining: The food here is absolutely divine and always had a great selection to chose from. Facilities & Amenities: Whether you're lounging by the pool or indulging in a treatment at the spa, or exploring the nearby attractions, there's something for everyone and the fitness center was well-equipped for those wanting to keep up with their workout routines. We had a lovely time staying in room 308. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The rooms are spacious and well kept being cleaned daily. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all very friendly and helpful. The entertainment team made sure there was always something to do and the shows were awesome. The facilities are great and the hotel is only a short walk to the beach!! The only downside is the pools are a little too cold. But overall we had a fantastic time and are already planning out next visit.

We are on our last day here at Hotel Catarina. We honestly can’t fault it. The room is lovely, (room 118), the beds are made daily and the bathroom cleaned. Always provided with fresh towels. The shower runs well, hairdryer actually has some power and the little added extras such as shower caps, shampoo, conditioners etc are great. There are tea and coffee making facilities, although I’m not sure if this is for every level of booking. Food, drink, staff and entertainment have been spot on. The hotel is perfect whether you want to be in the thick of activities or you just want the peace and quiet. Plenty more I could say, but I think this says enough.

Here’s the review in English: Room 115 We just stayed at this hotel, and there are both positives and negatives to share. Starting with the positives: the rooms are nice, and the hotel’s location is excellent. Cleanliness is up to standard, which we appreciated. However, it’s disappointing that the hotel advertises itself as newly renovated in 2017 – you can’t really tell. There are many areas that feel worn and in need of an update. We booked the premium all-inclusive package, but unfortunately, the bar staff seemed unaware of what was included. Despite certain items clearly being listed as included, we were denied access several times, and the staff had to ask colleagues for clarification. This created some frustration, as we didn’t receive the experience we expected. we even had to pay for a bottle of cava in the restaurant though it says on the website that it should be included. The food in the restaurant is okay, but nothing special. The hotel seems better suited for families with children looking for simple and accessible food, rather than for those seeking something more varied and flavorful. In summary, the hotel has its strengths, but some areas need improvement to live up to the standard they promise.

Had a great week as a couple. Very clean and very comfortable, stylish hotel. Great apartment and the staff were very friendly and polite. The restaurant serving Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet style was fantastic throughout a week stay with many variety of dishes from different cultures. Unfortunately our room had no Air conditioning unit & two single mattresses for the first night but after a complaint at reception it was swiftly fixed. One let down was the shower door unfortunately didn’t close so after every shower the floor was slippery. All three pools were lovely and all heated up by the sun. Towels changed each day and one big grey towel came in handy using the sun loungers. Having the all inclusive golden wrist band allowed us free drinks and food at the beach, pool and snack bars. The hotel is on a cliff face and every room faces the sea. All in all a great holiday destination.

Despite paying all-inclusive, the carpark holds around 15 cars for 4000 rooms! I had to park a few times 1km away, and the hotel is at the top of a 30-degree hill! The rooms are tired and need of drastic renovation. There are loose tiles when walking on the terrace and stairs. The room block layout is appalling, needing several lifts and stairs to reach our room. The staff could be a little better versed in manners as it seems an effort for help.The food is mediocre at best! The last night of our stay, I returned the food. It was appalling and cold! I'm sorry if this offends, but it is my opinion, and in no way warrants a 4 star rating! In fact, more in the lines of a strong 2 or maybe 3 star.

Not great. In the middle of nowhere and high up. Women on reception rude when asked for a taxi. The food is good, and the sunset bar is lovely for sunsets. Unfortunately, this is smokers paradise where all you can smell is smoke and vape everywhere. Adults only pool has a smoking area, but people still vape everywhere, leaving strawberry shortcake smell everywhere. We would not return. Too far out. Had a good week, but the smoking, especially in the sunset area, we will not return. Having a beer with stale smoke and no breeze is not our thing.

It’s a nice resort However on site shop inadequate does not supply fresh milk. You are not given milk for your room so if like me you like a morning coffee when you wake you can’t have it unless you drink it black. Unlike other resorts they do not offer free bottled water either unlike other resorts you have to pay for water although you’ve paid all inclusive does not apply to water. They have a vending machine where water cost €1.75. All entertainment is in Spanish or Portuguese they do not cater for English speaking people So unless you speak these languages You can’t enjoy the entertainment during the day or evening shows. The pool side fitness is also in Spanish So we can’t enjoy that either. The food however isn’t to bad at all it’s pretty good it’s what you’d expect from an all inclusive

We had an amazing 7 days stay in the hotel. We've booked the hotel a few months in advance for a very good price! The receptionist Roberto made our stay even better! He is a professional and kind man with a lot of charisma. He was the first person we spoke to, and throughout the stay, he was extremely friendly, talkative, and welcoming! Please do not listen to the stupid reviews about broken lifts and lots of walking. The lifts work everyday you just need to press the button hard sometimes to call the lift. Also, yes, the hotel is on a cliff, and it takes around 15 mins to walk up from the bottom, but I have a simple solution: get in shape. The food was really nice every day and there was a lot of variety. Overall, we had an amazing stay, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone and come back again, hopefully soon!

Where do I start - this will be an honest, lengthy review. First of all, the hotel is in an amazing location. I would rate the room 5/10. Pros - it was spacious, decent balcony with a nice view at night and it had a long length mirror. Cons - the air conditioning was weak - you only felt it when you were stood under it. At night we were very hot; Ventilation in the bathroom is also terrible; Lighting is horrendous - there are 2 side lights, 1 dim lamp and a normal lamp - there was not a main light which seemed weird to me; the shower pressure was good but at random times it would go boiling hot; you can hear the people in the next room - i knew when they woke up and opened their balacony door, they don't offer a free iron (I've never been to a hotel even out of the UK that doesn't have an iron) and instead had to pay for the services. Having said that the housekeepers were so friendly and I was told the ironing would be done within 2 days but was done with an hour. Tina who was at the desk was amazing and friendly - I hope everyone meets her when they check in! She makes you feel really welcomed and went the extra mile with my reservation at a restaurant, thank you so much! The bar staff very friendly and welcoming. The entertainment isn't the best but it's something to do when you don't want to sleep or would like a drink with background noise. Unfortunately, I really wanted to like the hotel but each day something would come up and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone going to Gran Canaria

I recently stayed at the Gran Canaria Princess, and while the hotel itself has potential, my experience left much to be desired. The food was disappointing throughout most of my stay. I struggled to find something I genuinely enjoyed until Thursday, which was frustrating given the high expectations I had for a hotel of this caliber. The lack of variety or quality made me dread mealtimes, which is not something you want during a holiday. All-Inclusive Plus: I was not informed about the “All-Inclusive Plus” option during check-in, which led to an awkward situation when I tried to use the pool bar. I was embarrassingly turned away and told to use the self-service area instead. This could have easily been avoided if the staff had taken the time to explain the options and amenities properly. Upon arrival, I was only told the times for dinner and nothing else. I wasn’t given any guidance on where facilities like the self-service area, bars, or other amenities were located. This left me wandering around trying to figure things out, which is not the kind of welcome I expected. A quick orientation or a map would have made a significant difference. Overall, the lack of communication and the poor dining experience overshadowed the positives of the hotel. There’s definitely room for improvement, especially in ensuring guests feel informed and welcome from the moment they arrive.

The facilities were clean and everything was kept to a good standard including rooms, pool facilities, restaurant and the gym. Finally, big shout out to the ‘animacion’ team who ran the activities throughout the day. We really enjoyed getting involved with some of the different sports and games.

Everything here was spot on. Rooms were really comfortable, cleaning of both rooms and all facilities was first class. We had clean sheets a couple of times during a one week stay and the check in and reception staff were really welcoming. The food options were some of the best we’ve had and we even enjoyed the evening entertainment, which we usually avoid. Literally the only downside was the location being a little way from the beach and main shops but this really didn’t bother us. I would go back here in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it enough.

We’ve just returned from our second stay this year, and without a doubt, this is the best holiday destination we’ve found. The resort is beautifully designed, providing a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The staff here are exceptional—truly professional, attentive, and always ready to help. The buffet offers an impressive variety of dishes, with nearly every type of cuisine you could imagine and then some. The quality is top-notch, with highlights like organic, free-range meats that elevate the experience. Every dish we tried was fantastic, with nothing that we didn’t enjoy. The rooms are excellent. We stayed in a Deluxe Double on our first visit and a Junior Suite on our second, and both were wonderful. We’d happily stay in either again. Being on ground level, with no tall buildings crowding the view, creates a serene environment that many other resorts can’t match. The grounds are beautifully laid out and offer a true sense of relaxation. A special thanks to the Public Relations team, who went above and beyond to accommodate specific dietary requirements smoothly and professionally. Each member of the team made our stay unforgettable, and we’re grateful to them all for creating such a remarkable experience. We’ll return as often as we can—our absolute favorite place to visit abroad.

Really really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. Our flight was delayed on the way out for 24hrs but our late arrival was more than made up for by the amount of rest and recovery we had here. The cleaning team take pride in their work as the room was spotless every day. The spa is awesome apologies but I can’t remember the ladies name but straight away she picked up on a long standing shoulder injury and was able to adapt her treatments accordingly she was brilliant. My personal thanks to her for this! The buffet for breakfast and dinner was of high quality and had a wide selection of healthy good quality dishes to choose from we had booked a few restaurants to eat out but after the first night of eating in here we cancelled our meals out and stayed in! Very impressed with Kid friendly hotel. The animation team were very good with the kids with plenty of activities for adults and kids (bingo, archery, darts, etc). They were kind to my kids whether that was in the kids club, afternoon/evening entertainment or just walking around. Despite all other reviews the food was good. There is the buffet style section which caters to all different nationalities and tastes, snack bar for burgers and hot dogs and a nice Italian restaurant only open in the evenings which was my favourite. I personally love zone 1 which is across the road, as it was quiet and chilled with a good pool (careful it is deep!) and self serving drinks. Zone 2 was more active with music, cocktails and animation team activities if you like that kind of thing. Should you wish to go to Maspalomas town the hotel can order you a taxi which comes very quickly if you want to explore. There is Holiday World close by which is walkable and has lots of fairground rides for different ages and a food market for different tastes. I would definitely recommend this place for families. Food - very limited variety in both the main buffet restaurant and the bookable Italian. Cleanliness - rooms clean infrequently and not very well. Also cockroaches running about in the grounds at night. Pools - 3 separate zones. We were in zone 2 which was mostly adults, so quite calm and peaceful. Public areas clean and tidy. Reasonable amount of beds. Poolside toilets were very clean. Jet2 rep, Graham, not particularly welcoming and had poor local area knowledge. Not very helpful resolving a problem with a trip we paid for. Evening entertainment was very poor unless you had very small children. Advertised as a 4 star hotel. I would be generous giving it a 3 star rating.

The rooms are well laid out and comfortable, the staff (especially Carlos and Kevin) have been very friendly and helpful and the facilities are very good. The location is good but there is not much around that you can to walk to but most things you need are provided and taxis are very reasonable. We just like to be able to go for a stroll to the shops etc but that's not really possible here. Great place for families with children, very family oriented and the kids club has been great!

I used to really like this hotel. Every year, I would spend several weeks here, and until now, I was always satisfied with my stays. Unfortunately, what happened this year has been incredibly disappointing. During my stay, the cleaning staff repeatedly stole personal items from us, not just small items like cosmetics and clothes, but also important documents, cash, and even computers. I filed an official complaint with the hotel reception after the thefts, but to this day, I haven't received so much as an apology, let alone any compensation. This kind of approach is unacceptable, and I can no longer recommend this hotel to anyone who values their personal belongings and safety.

Extremely nice and quit hotel with a direct way to the beach. Adults only. Restaurant, pool bar and bar are great (we booked all inclusive) but the staff is a little stresses sometimes. Great looking spa and gym (haven't tried so far) and the pool area is neat and clean. You choose your sun beds for the whole stay, so no need to get up at 6am to place your towel ;-) Aqua gym was fun! There are other activities and in the evenings, there is music or shows or parties. But you are never forced to join by the animation team.

Gorgeous hotel, first time of going there. We did all inclusive, but there's also half board, it's an adults only hotel which was brilliant. Food was great in all areas, staff friendly and polite and helpful. The pool was great, and also our room was very good, we had a bungalow, which was away from main hotel, excellent if you're disabled, as the bathroom was large wet room style.

The pool area is lovely, the spa wonderful and a great added extra for foc, I have been in spas that cost a fortune but this is just beautiful. Our room was clean and bed very comfortable. The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none, the pool guys jet wash the beds and parasols frequently. People have complained, looking at recent reviews about being played 2nd best to the Germans, this is not the case. Adults only hotel situated in saint Augustin .. Beach location.. Arrived late evening and we were welcomed by polite and friendly reception staff..check in was quick and simple.. Our room was on the second floor to the rear of the hotel overlooking a rooftop and a giant fan.. which was noisy.. not impressed initially.. So I popped down to the reception and asked about moving rooms and we were asked to return in the morning.. Unfortunately the fan kept us awake.. The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable..so no complaints.. just the location.. We were moved the next day.. our new room overlooking the pool and the sea in the distance was on another level thankfully.. The room was spacious and comfortable large double bed very comfortable.all the facilities you need for your stay were provided..tea and coffee making facilities..TV.. ample storage for clothes.. hair dryer.. safe in the room.. Large bathroom.. shower.. towels.. complimentary.. shower gel etc.. Good point the sunbeds are reserved with a tag you are given as you check in.. Find a good spot and it's is yours for the duration.. seen some staff helping people find beds in the day.. so just ask.. Talking about staff mostly friendly and helpful.. unfortunately we couldn't understand how some people seem to have a better service than us especially in the restaurant we experienced very little waiter service on our holiday.. maybe because we are English??.. Food was nice enough.. plenty of variety and certainly catered for most..a little cold at times.. You have a choice of the main restaurant and the pool bar grill in the day which is waiter service and cooked to order.. We enjoyed the chicken and steak on a stone but the cheese burger we tried tasted like rubber not sure why we waited so long for this meal... but have to say the waitresses who look after the pool bar grill are absolutely lovely... The hotel has two pools and daily entertainment.. For a little relaxation visit the serenity pool and spa which is indoors.. FYI... there is a spa on the roof with great views and for the adventurous a nude sunbathing area also don't worry about it it's quite private. Evening entertainment is a little boring.. Put on entertainment in the lobby bar each night but they weren't very good.. Not much else happening at night unfortunately and nothing near the hotel.. so if you want a relaxing time this may be the place for you.. Lovely walks along the seafront was a welcome way to walk off dinner.. Spoke to some who have returned here and obviously enjoy the beautiful hotel and it's location near the beach . Don't think we will return.. Lovely hotel.. friendly staff on the whole.. nice location.. Just not enough going on at night.. we are not party animals but do enjoy a good show.. Also be aware this is a No Smoking hotel.. There is a smoking area near the pool bar and you are allowed to smoke outside the main entrance only.. another reason my wife would not return..

The food is lovely they have a self service buffet I got all inclusive and went for at least 2 servings it was so tasty. Good beer too. I got the double deluxe room I found it strange that there was no lights on the ceiling except for bathroom but they had moody bedside lights, and the terrace had big glass sliding door / wall that from in the room you can see out perfectly but it's tinted so it would be impossible to see inside from outside. Pool was lovely main pool was very packed with a lot of romantic couples putting the emphasis on adults only but the pool outside buffet (which is an infinity pool) has a great view when the parasols aren't open and is generally empty. The location is right on the beach and there is poolside bars serving drinks till 8. The hotel is also very disable friendly with pool chair lifts. All together for my short holiday it was perfect the only thing that could make it better would be to have gone with someone and to have stayed longer

Overall, it was pretty decent. Pros: The location was good with good walkability to places as well as overlooking the ocean, and the hotel and rooms had a nice environment. If you are a Unique guest, the lounge was really great. Cons: For people that are paying full price for the drinks, the size of the pour was abysmal - very disappointing and made us leave the hotel for other places to eat and drink. Also, most of the shows were good except for this one man who it seemed was doing a bad karaoke show. The other thing we hated is that we are not smokers. All of the smokers were seated in the best outdoor seats (I understand that they are the best ventilated). But because we don't like smoke, we were relegated to the other side of the Unique area and the view was not good.

We had an absolutely fabulous time here. It's a beautiful hotel, the location is fantastic, lovely bars all around the beach. We would definitely advice going in the Unique package, the chef Arminda was just fantastic 👌 the food was incredible and Sabrina was so friendly and attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble. Our room had a beautiful view, it was spotless clean and cleaned every day. All the staff were so friendly and really make the hotel the way it is, my only complaint would be about a waitress called Montse in the dinner buffet, we found her very rude and whenever we asked for water or a drinks she just kept ignoring us and bringing us nothing, she seemed to only care or serve her Spanish friends, otherwise we would have given the hotel 5 stars. The food at the buffet was also lovely, where each night had a different theme. Thanks for a wonderful stay and ro the beautiful chocolates on our arrival we would definitely come back.

We stayed here in March 2024, the hotel has stunning views on the sea, for the sunset and at breakfast , lunch and dinner. It really is the view that makes it spectacular! The hotel had in our opinion the best position in Puerto Mogane. Having a pool room was very handy for us as our baby could have a siesta in the room, whilst we sunbathed which was really great for us! I really recommend booking one of these rooms if you have a baby or young child as it was very practical being able to go back and forth from pool and listen out for baby! The hotel is child friendly but there is not much to do for children therefore there are naturally not many families there. However with the beach so close by and the little playground a 2 min walk away it was absolutely fine. We stayed for 5 nights but I wouldn’t have stayed more with our child. The staff were great and I especially thought it was good that they seem to care about customer service with a man who was a customer relations manager , it’s great to see a hotel making this kind of effort and you could see that they really care about guest satisfaction. There were many little touches such as daily chocolate in room, a free mini bar and water replenished daily as well as free afternoon tea. We really appreciated these touches and it’s these sorts of things that sets the hotel apart from others. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future and recommend it!

Great little hotel. It’s great location with spectacular views over the harbour or sea/beach/pool. Rooms were serviced well and nothing was too much trouble. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. In the restaurant there was great service and a good selection of foods available. good quality with plenty of choice both of hot and cold food. There was an afternoon tea served each afternoon. Which was a nice touch. I would recommend milk is available rather than coffee creamer! The pool area was kept very orderly by the pool guy. Plenty of towels, all beds and dirty towels moved quickly away when needed. In the last two days of our stay a lady was life guard….. she was the total opposite of this guy. She was mean and lazy. Dirty towels piled up and that’s if you got a towel in the first place!!!! She made it feel like you were a holiday camp and not a four star hotel! Definitely brought the vibe down. Great live music in the bar on the roof terrace a couple of the evenings we were there. No parking provided by the hotel and no arrangement with the car park next to the hotel, so parking is expensive and limited. Over all we would definitely not let the mean pool lady put us off coming again and I would definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic location and a lovely stay. Lovely views. However, the service is very hit and miss. Stayed here to celebrate an engagement and a big birthday and they didn't do anything to recognise either, despite plenty of notice and reminders. The demographic of the hotel is also 60+, so be prepared for this if you are a younger couple or family.

We chose this hotel for our family holiday of seven after looking at the reviews for a nice destressing, well needed break. How disappointed we were. Radisson Blu, Mogan, Gran Canaria is NOT 5*. I have stayed in many 5* hotels and this one is more like 2/3* for the rooms we had especially. Long waits to book in and check out. Wrong rooms allotted so another wait. Complimentary birthday fizz and cake sent to wrong room. The list goes on.... Poor Management abrupt and no empathy. We Complained about the rooms and was offered an upgrade at a cost! The rooms were not up to scratch for this star hotel. You could even see people and cleaners looking into our balcony as it was right next to the lift. Bar staff ignore you. I waited 10 mins to be served no one else waiting. Sewerage smells on the balcony and in the room with flies and mould in the bathroom. Some of our rooms were not cleaned for 5 days. Call that 5^. There was an acute shortage of staff and most looked miserable even the lifeguard at the pool who snapped at children. I think the staff need some training on social skills. There were lots of other minor points on the whole one of the worst 5* hotels we have ever stayed at. Will not be going back

Everything you want from a hotel. A most friendly welcome when checking in and all the staff were very helpful and courteous. Our room was delightful with a lovely sea view, also beautifully clean. The choice of food for both breakfast and the evening meal was superb. The hotel is ideally situated for walking around the harbour and the very pretty town. We will return next year to this super hotel.

Came here whilst staying nearby for a lunch. Food was good. Hard to find the Callao restaurant though as there are no signs saying Callao, in fact all the logos say blue marlin Ibiza which is the rooftop so it’s confusing. Hotel decor is lovely and has a boutique feel to it unlike some of the bigger hotels nearby. However no shade in any of the pools so 90% of the day someone like myself with pale skin that burns easily would not be able to use them sadly. If this small detail was changed someday, maybe with some more trees or parasols covering part of the pool, I would stay here in a heartbeat though!

Excellent service, location, amenities and value for money. We enjoyed every single moment of our stay, thanks to the accommodating staff, hospitality and the attentive service from everyone. The SURU bar had a beautiful atmosphere with a great array of drinks. The room service quality and quantity of food were excellent (plus I have very challenging dietary requirements that the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate). I also took the lovers package and it was perfect in every way (again, the hotel and chef accommodated my challenging request) Thank you everyone for a lovely week away.

Spent a week here. Stunning hotel and fantastic location as in right on the beach. I can't fault the staff. Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond. There just seemed to lack an atmosphere. There was no music at the pool besides the smoking area, this was besides the Saturday, which they had a drinks promotion, pool side games, and music. The whole place changed that day. More people in the pool could hear the laughter and good time. Don't get me wrong, it was lovely to sit back and relax, but I did miss the bit of atmosphere.

Just left a two night stay at this hotel. I am gluten free, my partner had emailed prior our stay and was told not to worry there are plenty of gluten free options and we’ll be taken care of. Well I have been gluten free just over a year and have never had such a disaster as this experience. I was told conflicting information about what was and wasn’t gluten free. Even eating something g a chef later said wasn’t gluten free, luckily I had no reaction. I spoke to 8 chefs/ front of house staff about what was gluten and no clear answer was given. I was raging at this point, I spoke to reception, a guest experience manager and a member of staff at checkout. At no point was an apology offered until we mentioned this fact, nothing was done to make up for the fact our night was ruined.. and to be honest the feeling was no one could care less. This is a five star hotel at over 300 euros a night and the reaction and knowledge to allergies.. gluten being an extremely well know allergy.. is a total disgrace. Avoid at all costs, our stay in Gloria Royal days before this was 5 stars all the way for a 4 star hotel

Overall it was good experience but when you pay for all inclusive package you are expected that all paid. In reality it's different because you need pay for beach towel separately, you need buy water to the room because bottle of water not provided by hotel. Also question to food quality. It's many food and good variety but what about if it really tasty? From my point no, it wasn't good. Usually meat and fish was dry and it tasted like a gum without taste. But you can chose something else it's true. From good point hotel staff was great, good hotel facilities and of course good location not far away from beaches. And hotel bar also good.

We are on our final day of a two week holiday and would like to say what a lovely time we've had. The rooms are clean and adequate and the food on the whole is nice. The entertainment the second week we felt was better than the first but that personal choice. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. I would like to make a special mention for Colleen on the entertainment team . She if friendly , chatty and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a care free stay with everything you could need. Thanks guys we'll be back 😎

Had a very pleasant stay here with friends recently. Thought the hotel was great value for money: it had clean rooms with comfortable beds; there was a good range of options for meals in the all-inclusive buffet and the dishes were regularly replenished. As an anxious person in social situations, I very much liked the self-service soft drinks, wine and beer for all-inclusive guests too! My favourite thing about this hotel though was the daytime aqua and stretch classes run by fitness instructor Colleen. She is charismatic and really knows her stuff. No two classes are the same. The aqua was a proper workout (you can definitely feel you've done it afterwards!) and the stretch class leaves you feeling taller. Colleen pays close attention to your form and helps you improve, tailoring the classes to those in attendance. I wish I could do them every week!

Absolutely brilliant all inclusive hotel. + Room tidying is incredible and the staff do a good job cleaning every day + Room air conditioning is good and keeps it cool. + Pool is clean and plenty of sun beds so no need to wake up early to reserve beds + Food is well cooked and for me was a nice variety and of high quality. If you want to or have to avoid ultra processed or junk foods you can easily avoid them here. The meat and vegetables choices are very good. + Staff are incredibly friendly and are very good at their jobs. This includes the entertainment, reception, bar, kitchen and waiting staff. - Our only drawback is the choice of entertainment was not the best. We thoroughly enjoyed the Diva Fever and Boney M performances but the other entertainment was not as good as we have had elsewhere. Otherwise we strongly recommend the hotel for its value, location and quality.

Couldn't fault this hotel. Friendly staff, great location for everything. Didn't have any problems getting a sunbed. Pool area was clean, had water coolers around the hotel with separate splash pool for children as well as an adult area beside the jacuzzi. We were bed and breakfast and we found plenty of choice and the surfaces & tables were kept clean and staff were always restocking food. Room was ample size for two adults, plenty of storage and wardrobe space, balcony was a good size with airer on and beds, and pillows were mega comfortable. Maid was in everyday cleaning and changed towels if needed. Didn't stay in hotel at night time so can't comment on the entertainment but what we did see was people seemed to be having fun when we walked past the outside area. We will be booking again for next year

The hotel is beautiful, you can walk to the beach in a few minutes. It's almost a fight for sunbeds because people wake up at 6 and just leave the towels there. I woke up at 8 and most were full... You should add more sunbeds or ban people from reserving with a towel!!! It is not correct. The food is 7/10. The menu changes every day, so that's a good thing because you have diversity, but some dishes were not to my taste. We had problems with the air conditioning and it took 3 days to change our room, we had to sleep with the window open every night which was not pleasant because I had a room facing the motorway . The good part is that they changed it for us in the end and we were able to enjoy our vacation. The rooms look like in the pictures, and the cleaning is done daily. Overall a pleasant experience. The view by the pool it s lovely ☺️

What an amazing hotel. Superb staff and very clean. As soon as you have finished your plate of food or a drink the staff are so attentive and ensure they are cleaned away quickly. The food is excellent and a great selection. The pool is large and clean with the animation team activities and a life guard on hand throughout the day. A great selection of bars and restaurants outside of the hotel 2 minute walk. Would definitely return again.

As a 4 star hotel it ticked all the boxes. Staff were nice, rooms were large and kept very clean, pool area is nice and it's in a great location close to the beach, close to taxis and has awesome bars and shops in the local area. What could be improved? More sunbeds as there is space for additional to stop sunbed wars, more umbrellas for the sunbeds as there wasn't enough. Apart from breakfast food could really be hit or miss, we ended up eating out most nights as a result.

We had an excellent vacation during the month of May. The hotel and restaurants were clean and offered good value for money (special mention for the excellent breakfasts). The staff were very attentive and upgraded us when we had a very annoying neighbor. We will return! We regret not being able to enjoy the local beer anymore - (by the way, what is the name of that beer???).

Absolutely perfect week away!!! Extremely comfortable beds, quite centrally located, a little noise of an evening from the busy shopping district but at no fault of hotel. Stay further away from centre if you prefer quiet evenings. Good quality fixtures and fittings, very spacious suite rooms with jacuzzi spa baths on balcony worth every penny of upgrade price. Stunning views of surrounding terrain, shopping centre and beach all very appealing. Very warm welcome from staff and all through the week we stayed. Hotel also provided a welcome bottle of brandy and coke in the fridge, as well as choc dipped fruit on arrival for my partner for a small fee. Not long home and missing Casablanca suites already!!!

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. Rooms are large and well decorated but the maintenance is lacking. There is a great view and the room I had had a huge balcony area. The breakfast buffet was OK, the quality of the food wasn't very good but the fresh bread and fruit was nice. I only ate once at the restaurant and that was good. There's a shop on site where the prices are reasonable and the lady serving is lovely

There is very little not to love about this hotel. The location is fantastic, close to the centre and also Mogan mall. The little shop on the ground floor is a life saver for water and ice cream. Daily Access to the spa for a detox is a brilliant addition. The staff are super friendly and so helpful. We've booked again for next year already.

Enjoyed a nice week here. Views are amazing. Pools are lovely. Food is very good but as with All Inclusive can get a bit samey after a week. It was very busy while we were there so lunch and dinner times were pretty hectic finding seats. Also because of the numbers it didn't feel that personal. Rooms were nice but set up as twins but had great views. Lots of steps down to the local beach but the bay is well worth it.

The general hotel facilities were excellent and the room was clean with a great view of the sea and the surrounding area. Some of the food was a little unusual, but we always found something to make up a meal, and it was mainly well cooked. (We did find some of the fish was under-cooked on a number of occasions, and brought it to the attention of the waiting staff). The pool area was excellent and the Animation team worked hard to get everyone involved in the games and activities. The hotel was let down by the evening entertainment which was poor, and we felt that more effort was required, both for the children early evening, and later for the adults.

This hotel is not worth the money! Only one plus is the good food, but monotonous Our room 7006, with access to the pool - this saves the situation, because the common pool is overcrowded like a beach in China! the animation is boring, children 8 and 11 years old have nothing to do here!! the beach is very far away and you have to walk back 709 steps. the hotel has no territory, a concrete building and a huge number of rooms. Not once in a week did they change the bed linen! There is a coffee machine in the room, but capsules are only available upon check-in. stinginess. Plastic hangers that fall under the weight of clothes - fun if at night. Plastic dishes even in the room - it is not hygienic! Plastic leaves all the germs in itself NO service! There is no soap in the room, if you want to wash yourself - only shampoo for all body🤣 It is a first time for such money we got such a negative impression of the holiday. even the Internet here is unstable

Just on our last day here. The 1st 6 days were lovely couldn't fault anything . The last 4 have been awful. Way too busy . The dining room is manic , an accident waiting to happen , people pushing and shoving , children running around and putting their hands in the food. The food itself has deteriorated as well. No where as nice as last week . Difficult to find a table to sit at in the evening and if you go later they stop putting food out and clear up around you. Even the cleanliness of our room was bad the last 4 days . The shower wasn't cleaned and when you walked around after a shower our feet were dirty. The floor wasn't mopped the whole time we were there. The staff the last few days weren't as friendly as previously very young and never smiled . The adults only area at the top was beautiful stunning views and where we spent our time. However the adults only spa at the bottom ...you couldn't get in . It's very small and the same people put their towels out every day. The entertainment wasn't very good either. We enjoyed 1 night where 3 soul singers did a show . I would say this hotel is only geared up for families and while we got this holiday at a good price I would certainly not pay the increased prices they are planning for next year !

My partner and I stayed here for 10 days and our first time in Gran Canaria. I am so glad we stayed here and can’t wait to book again. The staff were so friendly and great there were adult only sections in the hotel. Good selection of cocktails included in the all inclusive, beer and other drinks. The food selection was good, something for everyone, if anything some of the food wasn’t the warmest but that can be expected at buffets. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

The hotel overall has been fantastic. Every meal has been spot on with a massive array to choose from. Any interaction with staff has been a positive one. The pools are spotless and the view of the beach and ocean are spectacular. Drinks are self serve and surprisingly not as single drunken person has been seen. My only points to not are that the rooms are a bit dated and the hotel is situated and the top of a massive hill which will take around 20 minutes to scale to get to the beach but the is a shop just outside the hotel. Would still definitely recommend.

Absolutely cannot fault anything about this hotel whatsoever. Staff were lovely, always smiling and so accommodating, food was absolutely incredible and was constantly being refilled by the chefs so there was plenty for everyone. I saw a comment about the female lifeguard being OTT, and I couldn't disagree more. She was friendly, she stopped anyone from being too rowdy in the pool so everyone could enjoy, and she actually enforced the 30 minutes unattended sun lounger policy, so you could actually get a lounger. Of course there were people who seemed to think she was there to babysit their children while they had a drink, but I think she handled all the situations as well as she could have! I was initially a bit disappointed by our room, but that was my own fault as I hadn't realised I was looking at one of the bigger rooms on the website, however the room was absolutely spotless, there was plenty of room for our clothing etc, the balcony was massive. Beds are comfortable, and there was an extra pillow in the wardrobe. In fairness, we didn't spend much time in the room throughout the day, it was spent outside sitting at the table or on the sun loungers outside our room when we weren't out for the day. Cleaning staff were friendly and efficient also. There are a few areas that could be modernised within the apartment, but all in all I couldn't fault it. The areas in and around the hotel are very well maintained and the view is picturesque. The beach is within walking distance, but the walk back is admittedly a killer. Self service unlimited drinks from 11am to 11pm, considering this we were very surprised that no-one seemed to take it too far while we were there. All in all a lovely hotel, great staff, amazing food and I loved the location. Close enough for walking distance to beach and shops etc, far enough away to keep the peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend, and would love to visit again someday.

Really lovely place. Great location with views of the beach. Staff were brilliant in all areas, very attentive and friendly. Rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard. The buffet food was fantastic, the best I've had as an all-inclusive option. Lots of options for all palates and the kitchen/waiting staff were great. Rooms were basic, but had everything we needed with a spacious balcony and loungers. Overall, we had a great holiday and would definitely return, something I never do!

Lovely hotel. We had a junior suite with so much room. Restaurant had great selection of food. Bar area small but never had to queue for drinks. Nice pool and kids play area with pool. Gym not massive but good selection of equipment. On a steep hill but has amazing views over the bay. Would definitely go back.

What an incredible hotel! The staff can’t do enough for you, the rooms are exceptionally clean and the food has a great variety every day and always fresh! We have no faults at all, even looking at rebooking! Stunning sea views too which is an added bonus! Thank you Altamadores for a wonderful holiday xx

I had a really lovely stay here with the wonderful staff and the gorgeous pool area being the best parts of the experience! The food was good by hotel buffet standards but vegan options were limited at breakfast and lunch and labelling was often incorrect (paella marked as vegetarian with a lactose label didn’t in fact contain any dairy products but had fish stock or a salad marked as vegan having mayonnaise though all staff were knowledgeable about the ingredients and very willing to check and double check any items, just the labels were wrong). Either way, I had a fabulous stay and would love to return!

Amazing staff, amazing food, great rooms! Only there is no kids pool, everything is too deep, and the baby pool is too small and hidden from the rest at the street side. The playground is old and also at the street side with the baby pool. There is no kids club building... Kids animation is very small. It's not really a good place for families with small kids 🤷🏼‍♀️ The customers here are mostly 60+.

A small Riu Palace conviently placed near a shopping centre and about a 10 minutes walk to the sea wall where you go down steps or slope to the beach which is probably about 20 minutes away. The hotel is spotless, every staff member greets you hello and on the whole they are friendly and welcoming There are two pools, not very big, and a very small kids pool. There is a pool bar and snacks bar near the pool and the the restaurant is not far. There is a more formal lounge which is open 24 hours and is run with topmost efficiently so you are rarely waiting too long for a drink. The rooms are quite small with an unproportionatly large sized shower room. Don't get me wrong it's a lovely bathroom, two sinks, hairdryer and hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and the shower is powerful and can be scalding hot. There are 4 drawers and a wardrobe, that's it. Good luck trying to fit 2 weeks worth of clothes in them. The safe is free and the mini bar is stocked with soft drinks and Amstel beer. No here's where the bedroom starts to go wrong. There is an opaque glass screen between the bedroom and bathroom which lights up the bedroom if you turn the light on. If your bedroom is pitch dark and someone turns on the bathroom light, it will light up the bedroom brighter than Wembley stadium. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs a shake. Another negative is the food. We have stayed at both Riu Palace and Riu hotel and the food is not up to Palace standards. Now it is edible and there is mostly something you 'could' eat but if you have any dietary needs beware. They have lactose free milk in the morning but no gluten free bread on view. I did ask the waiter and they did get it for me and asked every morning if I wanted toast or bread but all Riu hotels I have stayed in previously had this in show with it's own toaster. The food was basic and it felt like a cafeteria rather than a fine dining restaurant. There is a 'al a carte' but the menu looked very niche and was half full most of the time. It just didn't live up to Palace standards The hotel was mostly Germans and french and some were definitely not friendly when they found out we were British! It's an ok hotel, spotlessly clean, great staff but not the best Riu we have stayed in or the best hotel in Gran Canaria

Lovely all inclusive hotel in Playa Del Ingles. Near the main beach as well as Yumbo Centre. Walking distance to twice weekly market. Rooms - Lovely modern rooms with separate shower room (walk in shower - both rainfall and standard shower heads). Twin sinks in shower room Minibar fridge - restocked every 2 days with still and sparkling water in 2l bottles as well as 2 cans each of coca cola (full fat and zero), fanta orange and lemon and 2 beers. Service - excellent from all staff in bars as well as restaurant - table service at all times Food - high quality- always had choice of soups, fish (grilled hot as well as smoked salmon, mackerel etc) grilled and roast meats, salads, pizzas, pastas, rice dishes, high quality desserts for lunch and dinner. Breakfast had good selection of hot and cold including bacon, eggs (scrambled, fried (3 types - sunny side up, flipped and white only), beans, sausages, pancakes, french toast, churros, pastries, fruit, porridge, huge selection of freshly squuezed juices. Buffet from 11pm every night of burgers, hot dogs, fruit, sandwiches, cold meats and cheese Al la carte (Krystal Restaurant) - one visit per stay, very novelle cuisine but fabulous) Drinks - good selection of international brands of drinks on all inclusive as well as cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and soft drinks. Hot drinks of coffees, teas etc Housekeeping - rooms cleaned every day to high standard with towel and bedding change at request Pools - 2 pools - larger pool allows inflatables, balls etc but smaller quiet pool does not. Pool towels supplied and no need to bring your own - open to change for fresh towels every day between 9-3pm Very quiet round both pools with no activities/music and I felt it had very little atmosphere Service is available 24/7 for drinks as well as food (listed above) Entertainment- adequate- mood music from 6.30-8pm then with either group or tribute until 11pm in salon bar at bottom end of the hotel Toilets - in reception and for pool/salon bar - spotless at all times WiFi- free in all areas of the hotel during your stay Safe - free to use during your stay Upper floors - fabulous views of the hotel, surrounding area as well as sea and sand dunes (we were 6th floor)

This was our first time in this hotel and our experience was not so good.First of all, when we entered our room, we found ants on the table where the phone is also in the bathroom., we reported it to the reception and the next day they cleaned our room but the problem wasn't that the room wasn't clean but that they were coming in from somewhere.The restaurant was quite large but the food was not what we expected,it had almost every day the same food and a lot of junk food and besides that at dinner I experienced something very unexpected when I arrived at the entrance of the restaurant a waiter told me that I could not go in with a sleeveless T-shirt while at breakfast and lunch people were eating with swimsuit and that I had to wear a regular T-shirt so that I could not get into it. I've been to a lot of 4-and 5-star hotels, but I've never experienced anything like this in my life. I would never go to this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Decent first holiday abroad for me could of been better with the food as it wasn’t the best and the pool was cool but freezing and the pool staff are not very good. Reception were very good and 90% of the people there spoke English Wich was good as well. There’s also an arcade here and if you wanted some euros for the arcade you can ask reception and they would have no problem. I also dropped a football that I won at the arcade as I was doing kick ups with it but the area is pretty good and I enjoyed 90% off it but the only downsides where the food, pool staff and the water park near the hotel Wich the water was so salty and cold that the sea was less salty. The sports bar was really good if you wanted to watch pretty much any sport as you can request to reception if you wanted to put the football or the f1 with a drinks machine in the room with a pool table Wich me and my family and freind played on all the time. I would I like to comeback here one day Because it was good for my first holiday abroad and a memory from my life that I won’t forget.

Had a lovely stay at the Taurito Princess. Nice room, with excellent all round service. Staying on an all inclusive basis. Plenty of places to chill out, good entertainment and food. Loved the self service areas. Friendly staff throughout the hotel. The spa is nice I treated myself to a manicure and a pedicure. Chilled out holiday Looking forward to returning after the renovation.

3 of us experienced serious vomiting. During this period we only ate food from the hotel. Other travelers I chatted with experienced the same vomiting! The hotel facilities are a bit old, the bathtub is peeling off, the shower head is rusty when unscrewed, and the washbasin and bathtub often accumulate water (the water drains very slowly) The service was however great, but no one wants to vomit for two days on vacation. So sorry, won't come back

It's between 3 and 4 stars, the eating to breakfast and lunch was good, in the evening average. The new year eve was very good, also the asian cuisine was really good, the extra cost for popcorn, crepes or waffle are definitely questionable. The hotel and the rooms are OK, some issues with the elevator made it pretty hard to come easy to the floor. The pool is OK, don't believe the policy for reservation the chaislounge is in place ....

We vacationed in December. The hotel is very friendly. The staff is wonderful, the food is plentiful and varied. Not new hotel, those who are looking for something to complain about will find it :). But my family and I had a very good time. Thanks to all the staff.
