Booked this hotel by mistake thinking it was a different one. The breakfast was very nice. They had a cute cat that would wander the grounds. My only disappointments were that it was advertised to us as adult only, but there were kids at the hotel screaming very loudly. When discussing with reception they said it was recommended adults only but this isn't what is advertised, so if you want adults only book elsewhere. Location is also very poor with terrible public transport nearby so unless you have a car (it's expensive to park at the hotel) then it's not really worth staying here as there's nothing nearby.

Wow, it's our first time at Senator Banùs Hotel with family. The staff go beyond what they have to do. Big shout out to Jabel, who couldn't do enough for us and the housekeeping. I would like to thank the morning staff in regards to breakfast and the supplying us with tea and coffee. This morning, we had to leave early, and the continental breakfast blew us away. We stayed at the Senator Banus for a week in May. The staff were excellent and the room was also very good. The breakfast was excellent and also the room service and pool cafe. IF you have a vehicle you can park easily out the front. Although its near a road the rooms are to the rear of the hotel overlooking the pool so you dont notice it.

Jackhammer construction renovation by the pool, firedrill without information, bad sound isolation in room, can hear neighbours and outside door very clear. No compensation for all of this, low standard hotel, nice staff.

My only disappointment with this place was its location. It was tucked away just off a motorway and the amenities nearby were limited. We had to walk down the road then cross a motorway then walk a bit again to get to a selection of restaurants and shops. The beach was a slight trek too and definitely not the nicest with all the rocks and debris. But I absolutely loved the service at the hotel, the staff were lovely and helpful and nothing was a problem for them. The breakfast buffet was excellent and was always a huge choice. The quality of all the food was fantastic except for the bacon which was always frazzled like strips of leather but they were happy to cook fresh bacon at your request. There was an issue we had with something in the room but upon reporting it to reception, they resolved it very quickly and made it up to us with a bottle of Cava which was very much appreciated. The service there is excellent and I really do recommend this place highly. Jamal, Miguel and Sandro, just to mention a few names, were all super helpful and really made a difference to our stay there. Thank you.

Ikos resorts are definitely the gold standard for all inclusive resorts. Ikos Andalusia is no exception. Absolutely fabulous on all levels. The service everywhere is second to none, first class all the way. The range of themed restaurants, including the main buffet restaurant are all excellent and the staff super helpful. I was, unfortunately, having to use a walking stick when we were there recently and huge thank you to Darko who was always on hand to carry my plate back to our table, so kind. As were many other staff members in the main restaurant, apologies as I can't remember all the names. The Greek restaurant stood out for us as it's our favourite type of food, again, big thank you to Flor and George who were so kind, helpful and informative about various aspects of the menu. As may be obvious, I cannot praise this resort highly enough, AWESOME!!

Look this place is amazing but it is a refurbished older hotel so as with like many Ikos hotels the basic rooms are on the small side. Perfectly done etc but for the money too small. Being a refurbished hotel it is also not set out optimally. It feels like it as well. Compared to the Ikos Aria it is worlds away in terms of space and layout. Would I stay again 100%. Just being hyper critical so you know what to expect if like me you can only afford the basic rooms

This is a superb 5 star, all inclusive resort. We had a fantastic trip here. The food and drink is to a very high standard, service is absolutely excellent, and there was plenty to do within and around the resort. We would definitely return to an Ikos resort for a future holiday.

More Than a Resort — Ikos Andalusia Is Pure Magic! This was my second stay at an Ikos Resort—the first was at Ikos Dassia in Corfu, Greece. I’ll admit—I was initially skeptical about the all-inclusive concept. Like many, I assumed quantity would come at the cost of quality. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Ikos redefines luxury hospitality, delivering five-star service, premium drinks, and cuisine that rivals the best restaurants. I booked the Deluxe Collection both times, and I can tell you—it’s the way to go. It’s not just worth it; it transforms the whole experience. Our most recent visit—Ikos Andalusia in Spain—was from April 23 to April 30, a special trip to celebrate my wife’s birthday on April 29. To our surprise and delight, it also happened to be the birthday of Mr. Savas, the general manager. That coincidence made an already beautiful experience feel even more personal. Where to begin? The service is on another level. Every request is met with warmth and efficiency—it’s as if the words “no” and “impossible” were deleted from their vocabulary. The staff doesn’t just serve—they anticipate. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guest happiness surpassed anything I’ve experienced—and I travel often. The resort itself is breathtaking—like stepping into the Garden of Eden. Art, nature, and architecture are beautifully intertwined throughout the property. My wife and I took this trip as a couple, now that our children are grown and living their own lives. But I couldn’t help but notice how magical Ikos must be for families. Had we known about them back when our kids were young, we absolutely would have brought them. It’s a true paradise for children and teens alike, with themed pools, dedicated kids’ areas, and a glorious all-you-can-eat ice cream shop full of flavors and toppings. What truly set this trip apart was the people. I’ve rarely seen a general manager walk the property to connect with guests, but Mr. Savas does just that. He approached us with warmth and sincerity, ensuring everything was perfect—and it was. That kind of leadership trickles down and shows in the team’s exceptional energy and care. A heartfelt shout-out to those who made our stay unforgettable: sommeliers Jose and Alicia; the wonderful staff at Seasons—Alex, Ida, and Eva; Anna and Lewie at Fresco; and the incredible Chef Barbis. These individuals go beyond service—they embody hospitality. Their genuine smiles, attentiveness, and pride in their work made us feel more than welcomed—they made us feel cherished. That kind of care is rare in today’s workforce. Special thanks as well to Valerio, Jaime, and the entire Deluxe Collection team. We’ve had the best week at Ikos Andalusia. The hotel and staff are perfect. Amazing restaurants and gorgeous pools, and lots to do for all kids ages. The bikes are fantastic and you can cycle for miles along the promenade which the family loved. Special thanks to Darko and his team at the beach front restaurant, Chiringuito - Darko, Daniel, Julia, Nadia, Rhianna and Sara. Such lovely, kind and attentive staff who are brilliant at their job. Amazing food too whilst listening to the waves, heaven!

Had a suite - decent size… bathroom a little dated. Breakfast was excellent. The pool side service towards the end of the day was not great. The underground car park was closed - we were there off peak - so parking was not an issue but there was limited spaces nearby. Great location on waterfront.

Great location with a lovely small private beach area. The room was tired and old. The bathroom light switch didn't work well, the shower head didn't stay in place, one of the taps was loose. There was no 'service with a smile' and although any request was actioned, I always had to be requested (for instance although there was pool service for cocktails, good luck getting someone walk past and ask if you wanted another drink or take your finished glass away). We'd asked for a menu for lunch and when drinks were delivered the waiter wasn't interested in taking a food order. Unfortunately we also went in school holidays (poor planning on our part!) But kids took over the pool as kids do, but they were loud for extended periods and it was just not I'm fitting for what I expected a 5* hotel to be. Our last day, when it felt like less of a family clientel did seem better, with lovely breakfast by the pool, but again, unfortunately, marred again by the poor service of the wait staff.

I recently spent a week in a suite at Gran Hotel Guadalpin Banus and left with a deep appreciation for both its stunning location and the exceptional service provided by the staff. The hotel is perfectly situated right on the beachfront, just a pleasant stroll from the boutiques and marina of Puerto Banús, making it an ideal base for exploring Marbella’s vibrant surroundings. The suite itself was spacious and comfortable, with elegant furnishings and a private terrace offering beautiful views of the Mediterranean and the pool area. The amenities, from the plush bedding to the well-equipped kitchenette and luxurious bathroom, made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Room service was prompt and attentive, consistently meeting expectations throughout the week. What truly stood out was the staff’s accommodating and helpful attitude. From the front desk to housekeeping and room service, everyone went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. Their warmth and professionalism made a real difference and contributed greatly to the overall enjoyment of the stay. However, it’s worth noting that during my visit in April, parts of the hotel were partially closed, including some restaurants and facilities. this did have a noticeable impact on the variety and quality of services, particularly at breakfast. I would encourage management to consider how such closures might affect guest experience, especially during peak travel periods. My wife and I had such an enjoyable time at the Elba Estepona Gran hotel/ spa. Half board, breakfast, there was so much choice, amazing. Dinner buffet, lots of choice plus a fresh meat or fish cooking station by two chefs, I just had to tell the chef what I liked and how I would like it cooked, incredible. There also was another restaurant but for a small supplement but didn't manage to go. The spa was very relaxing, and I did go to their gym once and was a good array of equipment. Outdoor very large pool and an indoor heated pool were great. And plenty of sunbeds. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

We stayed at Elba during Easter holidays and were pleasantly surprised by welcoming and supporting members of staff. Our room was lovely with an amazing sea view. The breakfast was great - lots of fruit, meats and omelette that’s made to order. I’ve managed to learn quite a few sentences in Spanish (thanks to wonderful members of staff). The hotel itself is little bit dated and probably needs a little refurb - we could hear people talking in other rooms. But it wasn’t a big issue, some people might find it annoying. Still, it’s a charming place. We are planning to come back later in a year. Also, there’s Aldi on the other side of the road for those who would like to sample local produce.

This was our second stay at the Elba and we liked it even more than the first. Its a 5 star hotel without that stuffy feel you sometimes get going 5 star. The Junior suite was perfect for us, quiet location, sea views, spacious with excellent terrace and sunbeds, good aircon that works quietly and nice decor etc. Special mention to Rafael and Miriam on reception who allocated our room and checked us in, and to all the staff at the Elba who were super friendly and helpful, and full marks to the Manager for having such a great team. Like most things in life, there is a little room for improvement but we had a great stay at the Elba and will be going back again for sure.

Beautiful hotel, but the restaurant is an absolute disgrace – a very disappointing experience At first glance, this hotel seems to offer exactly what you would expect from a five-star resort in a charming Spanish style: beautiful architecture, a peaceful atmosphere, and well-maintained grounds. The setting really had potential for a relaxing and luxurious holiday. But what I’ve experienced over the past seven days has been truly shocking – particularly when it comes to the hotel restaurant, which unfortunately ruined most of the stay for me. On the third evening, after dinner, I became severely ill and spent the entire night vomiting. Since then, I haven't felt properly well – which is the last thing you want while on holiday. I had to skip two days of meals entirely because I simply couldn’t eat. When I finally returned to the restaurant, I paid close attention. I specifically asked the chef to make sure the chicken was thoroughly cooked – yet I was served undercooked meat. The next day, the same thing happened with the salmon. It’s clear that there is absolutely no quality control happening in the kitchen. And it doesn’t stop there. When I pointed out to the restaurant manager that birds were eating the uncovered cake outside, he didn’t seem to care at all – he just closed the curtains to the terrace door. That was his solution. The hygiene standards are shockingly low for any restaurant, let alone one in a five-star hotel. Overall, the food here is simply not up to any standard. Not even what you'd expect from a street kiosk. It lacks quality, care, and above all, safety. This is not a minor issue – this is a serious health risk. What could have been a wonderful vacation turned into a very sad experience. I’m honestly relieved to be going home.

We were only here for a short time but we enjoyed it. ( January 2025 ) The hotel has a great location right on the beach. We easily parked in the hotel parking lot. We had an incredibly spacious room (Junior suite) with a beautiful view of the sunrise. Very friendly staff ready to help all the time.Delicious food with large selection. Yes the hotel and the equipment are a bit dated and some parts could need some renovation but we were very satisfied and we definitely recommend it. Thank you . 👍👍👍

The hotel is visually stunning. It is modern, elegant, and filled with beautiful art throughout. You can tell a lot of thought went into making it feel special, and the rooms are stylish and comfortable. That said, there were several disappointments: Most disappointing was the infinity pool, heavily promoted across the website and booking platforms, but only accessible for an extra 200 euros per use—a fact only revealed at check-in. This is not just misleading, it is FALSE ADVERTISING, and arguably illegal. Guests should not be lured in with features they cannot access without hidden charges. The room design also lacks practicality. The toilet and shower are completely transparent, offering no privacy. Just because you are traveling with someone does not mean you want that level of exposure. In our room (406) the toilet door did not close properly, the shower leaked into the room, and the air conditioning was not working properly. On top of that, the television was very small and noticeably outdated, which felt inconsistent with the hotel’s otherwise modern design. We were also surprised to find miniature single-use toiletries in the bathroom, which feels out of step with today’s sustainability expectations. On the positive side, we enjoyed meals at two of the hotel’s restaurants and found the overall service to be very good. With more honesty about what is included and some practical updates to the rooms, this could be an exceptional place to stay.

Outstanding Service from Samantha – Thank You! During our recent stay, we were very happy with our room, but upon arrival we noticed there was limited space for our clothes, which was a bit challenging as we were staying for seven days. We went back to reception to kindly ask if it was possible to switch to the same room type but with a bit more storage space. Although this option wasn’t available, Samantha at the front desk went above and beyond to help us. She completely understood our situation and, without hesitation, offered us a complimentary upgrade to a suite that had plenty of space for our clothes and luggage. This was far more than we expected or asked for, and it made a huge difference in the comfort of our stay. We truly appreciated Samantha’s understanding, kindness, and exceptional service. Her professional and caring approach really made us feel welcome and valued as guests. Thank you, Samantha, for turning a small inconvenience into an even better experience—we’re very grateful!

I have had a wonderful weekend at Higueron Resort. Our room overlooked the pool and the sea in the distance. We had a junior suite which was spacious. Breakfast on the roof terrace was a great way to start the day and the service was excellent. Down to the hydrotherapy pool (which was why we there) was an amazing experience with every part of our bodies subjected to powerful jets. Sauna, great, Turkish Steam Room great, cold pools great. Lying around the pool area on the spacious sun beds, with very attentive staff was a perfect way to soak up the sun, a quick jump into the jacuzzi pool every so often to wake yourself up. We ended each of our 2 nights in the roof terrace bar drinking generous gins. The hotel had THE most gorgeous fragrance wafting through, very relaxing. There is a lot to look at in the hotel by way of art work, wooden sculptures etc. Should you wish to go down to the beach a free tram transports you there and back. All in all a fabulous stay at a fabulous hotel with fabulous staff. Gracias

I stayed at this hotel in Fuengirola on a solo trip and had a very pleasant overall experience. The breakfast was generous and varied, with fresh ingredients and plenty of choice – not five-star quality, but still enjoyable. The restaurants on-site are okay, but if you’re looking for something more special, the surrounding area has better options. The location is great, and the free shuttle to the beach is definitely a plus. Just note that the return shuttle goes back to the hotel quite early in the evening during weekdays, which might be too early if you like to stay for sunset or dinner by the sea. The beach club is stylish and relaxed; sun loungers cost extra, but are worth it for the comfort. The rooftop is a real highlight – chic, modern, and a great place to unwind. As with the beach club, loungers on the rooftop are also not included, but the atmosphere is excellent. A special touch I appreciated: the Rituals toiletries in the room, which added a more premium feel. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which really made a difference. That said, while the service is warm, it’s not on a luxury level. It’s important to note that this is not a five-star hotel, especially when it comes to room condition and maintenance. My room was clean, but clearly a bit worn and in need of an update. The hotel is also quite large and serves as a seminar/business venue, so the vibe can feel more functional than relaxing. However, the space is well laid out and never felt crowded. I stayed on the third floor, which was unfortunately noisy early in the morning – with other guests and airline crews rolling suitcases down the hallways before breakfast. A better separation between short-stay and long-stay guests could help here. Lastly, I’d highly recommend having a rental car, as it gives you much more flexibility to explore the area. In summary: this hotel offers a very good overall package, with some stylish features, friendly staff, and thoughtful touches. But if you’re expecting a five-star luxury stay, especially in terms of food, service, or room quality, this might fall short. Still, for a relaxed solo getaway, I’d happily return.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the Higueron Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. Special thanks to Patricia at reception, who noticed it was my partner’s birthday and surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a fabulous suite. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really set the tone for a memorable stay. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning! Stylish, modern, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed throughout. During our time at the Med restaurant, we were looked after brilliantly by Javier and Robert Rad. Both were incredibly friendly and attentive, even staying calm and professional during the unexpected Spain-wide power outage. They ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of, and the service remained excellent throughout. Another lovely surprise was returning to our room to find a birthday cake and cava waiting for us, such a special touch that we really appreciated. The only disappointment was that the power cut happened just as we arrived in the spa, so unfortunately we didn’t get to use it before leaving the next morning. Of course, this was beyond the hotel’s control, but the spa looked absolutely beautiful and we would have loved the chance to experience it. Overall, a fantastic stay in a breathtaking and spotless setting, with thoughtful service and great hospitality. We hope to return soon!

Really nice experience! The food was really good (you can find varient food and not only spanish food which is really nice and the staff was really kind ( especially Amelia and the waiters!). The rooms were beautyful and there are 2 pools : one for only adults so you can be in peace and read your book if you want to :))

A superb hotel with very friendly staff, at dinner Mrs. Mamen is extremely professional and very helpful, the head of the kitchen Metre Juan is a good organizer and very friendly. The ladies and gentlemen at the reception will solve any problem immediately. The lady who cleans the room is impeccable. The food is very good and varied, especially at dinner. I recommend this hotel and we will definitely come back.

Everything was good. The room is big the bed is very comfortable and very big. The fridge wasn't working properly when we wanted to take something to drink. The restaurant of the hotel cocina malaguena is fantastic. We enjoyed the food and the staff is really friendly. Something was weird in the bar. we ordered margaritas and they served them on plastic glasses. I didn't like it

We had the lowest category of room, which was very spacious with comfortable beds. Minor criticism was poor toilet flush, but I guess they are trying to save water because of drought. Breakfast was excellent, great choice of food. Staff very helpful, Got wrong combination to my room safe and couldn't open, but someone came and opened it within a few minutes. There was some partying noise from room next door, once at 2am and once at 5am. We had to call reception, who sent their security guy to request quiet! Hotel is very near to beaches, a short walk to Puerto Banus, and there is a pedestrian way for many km towards and through Marbella. We ate out so cannot comment on Hotel restaurants.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot. The hotel itself is modern, immaculate and very spacious. It’s in the perfect location with fabulous views. You can walk down to the beach where there is a beautiful beach bar / restaurant and sun loungers. Food and cocktails were gorgeous. The Italian restaurant situated at the top of the building has the most spectacular views and is perfect to watch the sunset whilst enjoying dinner at their Michelin star restaurant Isola Manzara Gardens. The staff literally can not do enough for you. We stayed in one of the villas which was 4 bedrooms, 3 floors, had its own private infinity pool it was perfect in every way. If you need anything you simply what’s ap the team and they will bring you anything you need. I have already booked to return in 2 months because it was so fantastic I can’t wait to go back. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a sheer luxurious holiday.

Nice resort with a good ocean view. Well designed lobby. Excellent rooms with nice views and comfortable beds. The negatives are the prices of the food and drink compared to the quality of them and of the hotel. It was also unfortunate that they were still readying key parts of the resort that had yet to open for the season, but the management addressed this issue satisfactorily and was very kind.

The Marbella Club is a beautiful hotel. Beautifully decorated, lush gardens and the intoxicating scent of jasmine fills the air. We ate in El Patio and the food was delicious. My Fattoush Salad was fresh & delicious and the perfect thing to eat in a very warm Marbella day. I then treated myself to the Pistachio Baklava which was completely divine. The whole vibe of The Marbella Club is of beautiful elegance and it was an absolute joy to visit and spend time within it. There are beautiful nooks where you can just sit and sip your drink of choice to while away the afternoon. If in Marbella, this will most certainly be on my wish list again and I cannot wait.

This resort offered a fantastic high quality stay in an amazing garden of Eden type setting. While the resort is quite spread out this is typical of resorts in this area. The buildings are set in a very peaceful and perfectly cared for garden type setting. While in the resort you quickly forget the busy road directly outside the gate and get transported into a whole different environment. This location offers easy access to other quality restaurants and shops outside the resort. The room was quite clean and modern and kept pristine by a great housekeeping team. Overall the staff was quite professional and friendly. Breakfast service had a good buffet selection and attentive service staff. The dinner service we had in their casual dining area was also quite good with quality food and service. The only thing to be aware of with dining is the restaurants were hard to locate the first time as the signs were not adquate in providing direction to them. With casual dining it was a bit odd that the seating host podium was in the middle of the restaurant... not the one at the entrance to the restaurant at the bottom of the stairs. At breakfast there was no podium you just go in and seat yourself. Signage on these things could have been clearer. The resort offers a great fitness facility, kids area and beach area. My only regret at this property was not having more free time at and around the resort to take advantage of some of the other elements they offer - hiking, personal training, etc. A fantastic beach option for those in the area.

I really hope this will help some to get a glimpse of what Kempinski in Spain is. We were traveling – me, my wife, 1,7-year-old kid and babysitter (senior lady). 1. We booked transfer from airport through our travel agent and there was some sort of misunderstanding (as he said) between him and them. Because of that transfer was not available I had to look for a a large taxi bus which fortunately was available through Bolt app. Inconvenience because we had 5-hour flight with the sleepless child. Lets not consider this situation into account because it could be fault of travel agent. 2. when we arrived to the hotel after total 8 hours of travel, we had to fill in all forms by hand standing there with child in hands. Tell me why it is so hard to fill in forms from your side and just give it to me to sign. Or imagine that. You just give me the keys without forms and give them to fill them in the morning. Hotel was paid in advance. No welcome drink was offered. Maybe we looked like we do not need that. Yet somehow forms is exactly what we need to waste our time on. 3. Rooms. Were fine. Somehow regular room and Mediterranean room (that cost more) are right side by side. With regular room having the same (slightly different angle) view. Where is the difference. 4. Quality of the rooms. It was clean and fine. But, only thing that gave away that time already has passed was bathtub. It had like 5 dents in the material probably from showerhead being dropped regularly. I was thinking ok we pay 600-700 eur per night. You could spend 1000 for a new bath but no you have to squeeze out every EUR out of that dead bathtub. 5. Outdoor pools, facilities, lawn etc. Everything was very clean and pleasant. Life guards, fresh towels, pool service everything was great. It was not crowded at all. Big Plus. 6. restaurant/employee issue. We have a small child and we have very simple schedule when to eat and sleep. I go to the restaurant that is working right after when breakfast restaurant is closing and ask them to prepare vegetable soup (that is on their kids menu). I ask it to be delivered at 12.00 to the room as a room service option. They say ok no problem. Its 12.25 I go to the Spiler beach club and ask where is the soup. They say I don’t know because our kitchen will start working only in few minutes. Why then you tell me that soup can be delivered at 12.00. Just tell me you cant. They said no no its fine our Baltazar restaurant kitchen should have prepared it. I go there. They are aware that there is order for soup for room service for a child. But they are telling me that we will deliver it soon. I said I am going to wait it here. The cook (lady) took a bag of ready made soup which she has not even started to prepare and was SO unhappy that someone came and watched how she is late with that soup for 45 minutes. 7. Language. 70% of staff knew English on very deaccent level yet 30 (maybe less) % were only on basic level. It is like you have to simplify every word just for them to understand it. Maybe its just regional thing. I don’t know. 8. Same people are working in all of those restaurants and bars on the facilities and yet somehow all of them make drinks different. You don’t have a dish/ drink ingredient calculation? No recipe? 7 times I ordered ice tea and 7 times it was made differently. 9. last day when I just wanted to have a drink at the bar they could not fine POS terminal for me to pay with the card for 50 minutes when there were 5 people in the restaurant actively looking. Ok if you cant find it… just put in on the house and let me go. Or tell me that it will be charged on my room. Why it is so complicated? 10. I asked reception about the dedicated places around beach club. If those are available for guests of the hotel. He… did.. not… now that. Receptionist does not know if… whatever. I got tired writing this. 11. 24/7 room cleaning. Liked it very much. 12. kids room for games was really nice. 13. warm pool in SPA was good for kids as well. 14. SPA service 5/5 stars.

Went there for dinner yesterday. The chefs simply can't cook. Back to the elementary chefs school please. Bad taste and if possible even worse presentation. NOT worthy a five star hotel.

We only went to the hotel for dinner, unfortunately it left something to be desired. You can simply say that they can't cook, the seasoning of the fish soup was terrible, as was the seafood spaghetti, the seasoning of which was similar to the fish soup. Tasteless food, they don't use garlic or parsley, which would be basic. The fried baby squid was the only thing they prepared well. It would have been difficult to spoil that. This kind of cuisine doesn't suit a place like this. The breakfast is supposedly very delicious.

We stayed at Hotel Puente Romano last year and had an amazing experience. Our room was quiet, had a lovely terrace, and provided the level of comfort we expected from a 5-star hotel. Unfortunately, this year’s stay did not live up to our previous experience. Our room faced the street, making it noisy, and we couldn’t open the window due to the constant traffic sounds. This significantly impacted the relaxing atmosphere we had enjoyed so much before. For a hotel of this category, we expect consistent quality in terms of comfort and tranquility. We were disappointed that no effort was made to offer us a quieter room or an alternative solution. Sadly, this visit did not meet our expectations. After one Day the Hotel offered me a new quiet room- thanks

An amazing and breathtaking resort, so much fun just to be here! We loved how it felt like we were in a little town, the way it was set up. The restaurants were all delicious, the staff were all so friendly and helpful! The room was super comfy and our balcony view was such a delight. Everything was perfect! Would highly recommend Ciprianni, El Pimpi, Coya, and both the Cheat restaurant and pool!

Great hotel with alot of restaurants and things to do within the property Pros - kids club was great my son loved it - maid service - restaurants on site - walkable - service most of the time - all food was very good - staff very friendly Cons - restaurants some restrictions for kids after 730 - pool chairs old at all pools - pools over crowded no chairs sometimes - rooms are small and a little outdated - prices are insane for most things - breakfast service slow and over crowded Most part was a great stay alot of upsells when you already paying so much to stay there water provided 1 time a stay which is strange 8 euro a bottle after that a more luxury upgrade is the Marbella Club Next door.

Well, we had hoped it would be brilliant....Puente Romano, you were out of this world in every way. From the moment we checked in with Carlos, we felt at home and so welcome. Our 4 year old daughter was greeted with a gorgeous teddy bear and colouring pack , which made her day. Our beautiful sea view room was just perfect, with a huge bathroom and jacuzzi bath. A highlight of our stay was walking through the wonderful gardens, especially at night with the lights dotted around. The restaurants were all 5 star and we really enjoyed Thai Gallery. We cant thank Amanda enough for arranging the most unforgettable stay for us and we really look forward to returning.

Set in it's own green oasis, this hotel exudes calm and relaxation - for the guests that is - the staff are very attentive, friendly and keep things ticking along seamlessly. The breakfasts were excellent (we didn't experience the dining restaurants) and the bar with the live music was a fun place for a nightcap. We loved looking out from our room, through the trees to the sea beyond. It's an easy stroll to the old town and all it's pretty, quirky streets. We hope to return to this lovely hotel sometime soon.

Great location on the beach and a short walk along the promenade to Marbella Old Town. The hotel is really well designed, modern, comfortable with quality furnishings. What takes this hotel to another level is the staff - our experience was that they were always professional, courteous, responsive and helpful; nothing appeared to be too much trouble for them. The bedroom was clean and serviced thoroughly on a daily basis. Local musical entertainment in the evenings was a lovely touch with all those performing being excellent. We loved our week at the Don Pepe and will certainly seek out other Melia hotels on our forthcoming travels.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Everyone is very friendly, the room was a little tired and lacking personality. The kids club was closed which was disappointing as my son really wanted to go to it and the children’s pool was also closed for maintenance. Our children couldn’t use the main pool as it was too cold. Frustrating when travelling with children to a hotel that pitched such great children’s facilities. Apart from that, breakfast was fantastic, restaurants all and good food options.

This gem of a hotel sits on a very nice property with plenty of outdoor relaxation (pools) and food options. The beach club is conveniently locate and provides a full-service spa, a nice restaurant/bar, and an awesome infinity pool. The service is impeccable -- attentive and always very pleasant. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very spacious; also well equipped with espresso maker and tea kettle. This was my first stay there but I will gladly go back.

I am very happy with this hotel. It has beautiful view and gardens. We stayed 5 days, the rooms were cleaned many times during the day. Spacious bed and bathroom with very comfortable mattresses. Big selection of breakfast food. We really enjoyed our time there. The location of the hotel is just 2 minutes from the beach. I will defenitely come back again.

The hotel is beautiful with many seating areas and lush gardens. Breakfast is so nice with many varieties and a great view of the sea. Staff goes out of their way to make things extra special. Special mentions: Eva Campos, Guest Services, is so helpful and kind. She always tended to me and helped me set up tennis classes. Manuel at check in always checked to see how my day was going. The front desk staff/Alvaro (amazing) and Maria Isabel and Christina were a delight. I can’t say enough about the staff at this hotel, they really go out of their way to assist guests.

We stayed here for 8 nights in a family room. It was amazing to be upgraded after one day. (thank you Eva) The rooms are really spacious and clean! However, we want to confirm that this hotel is not at the beach and that for older kids (from 7 years) not the best option. The kids club has mainly only games for very small kids and the beach is too far (on a public road) to send the kids to the beach by themself. The staff was very friendly but the service at pool was definitely not 5 star. We had many smiles but we had to make an effort to get drinks etc. The only waiter which always came and made jokes was Alejandro, who as we heard is now no longer at the hotel, unfortunately. Overall, we had a nice stay.

Another lovely stay at the Estrella del Mar. The hotel is in a peaceful part of Elvira, very close to the beach. All the staff were were very helpful, the hotel is extremely clean throughout. The rooms are large with a good size balcony. Breakfast was good, and we found the food in the bar and restaurants excellent. The menus are not extensive but of very good quality. Pools and garden looked lovely,.
