Visited last summer for my birthday holiday and had a lovely time. They did my room very nice for my birthday and they sang to me at the pool bar on the day too! Stayed for 4 nights and did the all inclusive package. There was a good variety of food available everyday and there were a few restaurants to eat at as well as the buffet. The drinks selection was wonderful and the pool/spa amenities were fab! The location wasn’t far from the beach and there were shops and restaurants not too far either. Nightlife was a quick 10-15 minute uber/cab away and didn’t have any issues getting them from the hotel. The staff were all lovely, shoutout: Diana, Max, Shinto, Parash (best masseuse ever), Jhordan, Salvador and Samuel. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, it was a lovely experience, and we truly appreciated the warm welcome and attentiveness of your staff, especially in celebrating my husband's birthday with thoughtful gestures like the decorated room and birthday cake. So thank you very much . While we enjoyed our stay, there are a few areas where we believe improvements could enhance the overall guest experience: 1. Room Maintenance:We noticed some areas of the hotel, particularly within the rooms, could benefit from fresh paint and minor repairs. Addressing these cosmetic issues would help maintain the hotel's overall aesthetic and feel. 2. In-Room Amenities:Having a selection of biscuits and daily replenishment of water bottles in the fridge would be a nice touch for guests. Additionally, providing irons and ironing boards in the rooms would make packing easier and provide added convenience. 3. Dining Flexibility:Offering guests the option to take unfinished drinks from the dining areas back to their rooms would enhance the relaxation experience. A self-service ice station in the main dining area would also be a valuable addition. 4. Housekeeping: We experienced a small issue with a dusty wardrobe upon arrival, but I want to commend your team's prompt response to resolve it. Consistent attention to detail, such as ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned, will help maintain the quality expected from a four-star establishment. Your hotel has a beautiful ambiance and a welcoming lounge area, which we found quite pleasant. Breakfast options were satisfactory, and while lunch and dinner had varied selections, a little more diversity in daily menus would be appreciated by returning guests. However you do have other restaurants that was serving other foods within the hotel which was good however it wasn’t included in the all inclusive which would have been great to have. But I see the why it was necessary for them serving separately so it’s fine . Please understand that this feedback is meant to support your continuous improvement rather than criticize. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and believe that with a few enhancements, your hotel can provide an even higher quality experience for a four star that it is or higher . Thank you for the wonderful hospitality; we look forward to seeing how you evolve and improve in the future. We will definitely come back to visit .

7 night . Good experience. Not 10 of 10, but good enough. It is personal point of view. Tiny bit away of Valleta, walkable. Clasical breakfast buffet, Lunch good enough, snack after lunch good enough, burgers and pizza. Dinners, nearly same all 5 days. Inside pool , very small. Pool bar, poor. Interteimant, fantastic. In conclusion: Location, amazing. 👍 Service, 5of10. Need attention. 🤔 Quality of rooms....cleaned everyday. 👍 Housekeeping department working well. Staff is good. F&B department, staff need to be restrained. The hotel is builded fantastic, just 2 many rooms for small eating areas. Reception staff, helpfull and well informed. Will recco to all my friends , defo, just with tiny bit conditions. At all, 8 of 10. For that value of money.

Loved this place! Excellent location close to the coast and many cool restaurants near the area. We got really good value out our money. The staff are super friendly and kind and very helpful, special shoutout to them. Our flight was in the evening so we asked if we could maybe have a later check out, one of the male staff was very friendly and he said he'd do his best to check the availability, it worked out great👍 Just a few points that were lacking was the rooms need a painting job especially for the standard of the hotel and cleaning needs more attention. We found the breakfast with too many english breakfast options, We think one section for the english breakfast would be sufficient and the other hot food section could be different options. The twin bed pushed together for a double was also annoying throughout the night because of the crease. The AC in our room also seemed to be weak or perhaps not working. Also we had no iron which was very weird, every hotel I've been to before offers and iron in the room. Other than that though it was very good!

Absolutely loved my short break here. The food was great and included so much variety. The entertainment was impressive. There is so much to do in this hotel like squash ,table tennis, mini golf, well equipped gym, sauna steam room ect. Swimming pools, plus you are right in the sea for a dip. The rooms are well sized and equipped. All of the staff are friendly and helpful but out of everyone John was fantastic, he was so helpful in the gym and getting us sorted for squash . Thanks Qawra palace for the excellent stay

Breakfast was amazing! Staff is very friendly and attentive. Loved the indoor pool, sauna, and jacuzzi - perfect way to unwind after a tiring day. Facilities were super clean and room well-maintained. Superb ! 👍

We went in January and got a good deal on a room. They're quite spacious and had everything we needed. The shower did tend to overflow a little and my wife had a massage which left her with a sore neck afterwards but the breakfasts were good, the staff friendly and helpful and it was lovely and quiet at night. Our room was at the back of the hotel so we sacrificed a view for the quiet but we got the view each morning heading out and at breakfast so I didn't feel we lost anything.

We stayed at the resort for 14 nights, so we feel we can give a fairly well-rounded impression. The rooms are okay — spacious and generally comfortable. However, the housekeeping service could be much better. Bed linen was only changed upon request, and even when using the “please make up room” sign, the cleaning usually covered just the bare minimum (trash, cups, quick floor clean), rather than a proper room refresh. The staff are polite and friendly, but often lack immediate information. In many cases, they need to check with someone else before giving an answer, which slows things down. There is a pool with a policy allowing children only during specific hours, which is understandable in principle. However, enforcement is inconsistent and seems to depend on who is at reception. We also noticed guests entering the pool area with outside shoes, which doesn’t feel appropriate. Breakfast is one of the weaker points. On paper, the selection is decent and standard, but the freshness clearly depends on how full the resort is. On many mornings, pastries were hard and clearly 2–3 days old, juices were diluted, and overall quality was inconsistent. Again, the breakfast staff were polite, but that doesn’t really compensate for the food quality. We definitely felt that the stay was overpriced for the level of service provided. On the positive side, the resort offers parking, and there is a bus stop nearby with connections to other parts of the island. Giuseppe’s restaurant on site is a must-visit, and Vecchia Napoli is great for pizzas (stick to pizzas only). Overall, the resort is pleasant enough, but there is still a lot of room for improvement, especially when it comes to service quality, housekeeping, and value for money.

My family of 10 booked four rooms at Salini Resort under an offer that included breakfast and a buffet dinner. While the hotel itself is pleasant, the booking details were unclear. We later found out that drinks were not included with the dinner buffet and had to be paid for separately, which was not clearly explained. Before arrival, we were assured by a staff member that our pool booking was confirmed, but on arrival we were told that no reservation existed and the pool was fully booked. When we raised our concerns, the response from staff and management was not as helpful or professional as we would have expected. With clearer communication and better coordination between staff, this could have been a much better experience, especially for families.

We booked four rooms at this hotel to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday, expecting a memorable and enjoyable stay. Instead, we experienced one of the most embarrassing and disappointing hotel services we’ve ever had. At breakfast, after we had already finished eating, my mother-in-law was holding a small piece of fruit to take upstairs. Rather than calmly explaining any policy, a waiter aggressively confronted her, spoke loudly, and publicly shamed her in front of other guests. His tone was rude, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. This is hospitality — not a marketplace. Staff are supposed to serve guests with respect, not act like security guards. Even if taking food is not allowed, there is no excuse for humiliating a paying guest, especially a birthday celebrant, over a piece of fruit. The waiter showed zero courtesy, zero empathy, and zero training in customer service. Because of him, what was meant to be a happy family celebration turned into an awkward and hurtful moment. What makes this even more disappointing is that we are repeat guests since 2022 and regularly choose your hotel for family gatherings. Today’s experience made us feel unwelcome and disrespected. Management should take immediate action and properly train staff on how to speak to guests. One rude employee is enough to damage the reputation of the entire hotel. This was supposed to be a celebration, and instead it became an embarrassing memory.

We booked this fairly last minute on a bed and breakfast basis as we were wanting to tour the island and eat out. We were told by the tour operator that there was construction work in the vicinity. We didn't find this an issue as we had a room facing the sea. There's lots of construction work in Malta at the moment as they appear to be upgrading many apartments and hotels so you can't really avoid it. The breakfast was the usual buffet style and suited us fine. Staff were very nice and room was kept clean every day. The only fault was the lack of information on display in the foyer telling guests what was on each day in the hotel. The roof terrace is for adults only and very nice with affinity pools and plenty of loungers etc. I preferred sitting up there as it was quieter. The family pool area across the road is accessed via a tunnel and you're given towels for the duration of your stay to use in either area plus it also has plenty of loungers. You can buy drinks and snacks in both pool areas. They're still working inside the hotel getting rooms finished but as we were on the 7th floor we didn't find this an issue. Our room was nice but we thought it unusual that it had a glass corner in the shower cubicle which didn't give you much privacy when using the toilet or having a shower as you were visible from the bedroom. I don't think this is a good feature especially if you're on holiday with a friend or other family members. Hairdryer, iron, toiletries, towels, kettle, tea/coffee/milk are all supplied and replaced daily. We would definitely recommend the hotel plus is in a central location.

We had the buffet there last Sunday and were thoroughly delighted. From the friendly welcome at the main entrance to the prompt service during lunch and the food was the best buffet food we've ever tasted with the quality and flavors we we're spoilt for choice. We had booked 1 week all inclusive at this hotel (tomorrow is our last day). Before our departure, we knew that this hotel was newly renovated/opened and so there was a chance that it would not be completely finished. We wanted to take this "risk" anyway because it looked beautiful on the pictures. From the first moment we arrived until now we have not regretted our choice for one moment. The hotel has been beautifully renovated. It all looks very luxurious (even the details were looked at). As mentioned in previous reviews things are still being finished here and there but we knew that so for us this was certainly not a problem. The pools are beautiful. Downstairs there is a family pool with 2 slides. Perfect for families with children. On the top floor you have 2 pools and jaccuzi's overlooking the sea. Nicer than what we expected. Both breakfast and afternoon/evening buffet are super delicious. There is plenty of choice so there is something for everyone. Afternoon/evening also some things are changed all the time so you keep having enough variety. The quality/taste of the food is higher than at other hotels. The 2 restaurants (Luzzu and Cheeky Monkey) where we are allowed to eat as guests of the hotel are a nice change. There is also a possibility to eat once at restaurant Minoa (the hotel's restaurant on the top floor). This was open since early this week and we took advantage of it. The menu is limited but of high quality. The restaurant is beautiful and the open kitchen is definitely a plus. Our room was good. We unfortunately did not get a renovated room but the room had everything it should have. Besides the renovated aspect and the location, the biggest quality of this hotel is the staff. It is nice as a guest to meet all these friendly people. We can see that these people enjoy doing their jobs. They are super friendly! The room was always cleaned very clean, the people at the bars/towels are extremely friendly as are the people at the front desk. It is not a forced friendliness. You notice that the people who work here are proud of what they do and enjoy making the guests feel comfortable. One small flaw in the hotel is the elevators. We often had to wait a long time before we could take an elevator. Taking into account that the hotel is not completely full yet, this can cause some problems. Congratulations on your renovated hotel! Keep up the good work. We would love to come back when the hotel is completely finished!

Great and new hotel but is’s not finished building and a lot of dust and building noise from the hotel itself plus next door building (July2023). Great roof top facilities with infinity pools, whirlpools and a bar. Unfortunately loud music until late night that disturbs even though the rooms are relatively sound proof. Mostly techno music. There is a pool with sun beds across the road giving access to the ocean. Some Water sports directly Oceanside. Medium Friendly hotel Staff, service minded kitchen staff but seem new in the job with little experience. Good food. Great air conditioning in the room; silent and effective. Poor availability for lifts (half of them out of order) and stairs - the stairs and even the emergency exits lead to construction areas. Good capacity for larger groups (football teams etc). No sun on the room balcony’s. Incredibly complicated and slow reception personell and system, everything must be cleared via email and The Management. The hotel is in a pretty quiet part of the island without much party. Except groceries and some tourist shops there are little shopping opportunities in the area.

There were so many great reviews of Hotel Juliani online, so my expectations were high. And yet, they were exceeded. From the always friendly staff (we never left breakfast without at least two people wishing us a great day) to the wonderful room to the great location - everything was just great. We had a Suite in the newer part of the hotel with sea view on the 4th floor with a huge terrace - which we only got to use a little bit since we did a lot of sightseeing and it was too cold in the evenings. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, the terrace door was soundproof (really the only thing you could here were occasional motorcycles), the bathroom had a rain shower and we had a mini-fridge and an electric kettle. The room was always clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast a lot, especially the made-to-order eggs and good coffee and tea. The location is great with bus stations in both directions right outside the door. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops all around. We hope to be able to come back during warmer months so we get to enjoy the rooftop pool and terrace. If you can afford it, take a room with sea view. Even in the winter, watching to fishermen, locals jogging on the promenade and enjoying the view is worth it. And maybe request a room in the newer part of the hotel (although I haven´t seen the other part so I can´t really speak to that).

Our room was on the 4th floor, very spacious and with a big balcony facing Spinola Bay. Bathroom was also spacious with a beautiful walk in shower. We had our towels changed twice in a week, that was nice. The view from the balcony was stunning. Location is very convenient. It is a busy area but once we closed the window we couldn't hear a thing and slept always very well. There is plenty of restaurants around. Buses are frequent and there is a stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was nice and there was plenty of choices. We really enjoyed our stay in Hotel Juliani and we highly recommend it.

Checked in on front desk by Manuel. He was so friendly & knowledgeable we knew we were going to have a lovely stay. The room was clean & modern. Lovely big bed & super large shower. View was spectacular with a little balcony. All in all a fabulous hotel & we will stay again when we come back

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. The wonderful people who work there make your stay a pleasant one. The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is amazing. Unfortunately, we only stayed for a weekend, but we plan to return to this hotel for a longer stay. We thank the entire team for the wonderful time and wish you all the best and see you soon. The view is beautiful and location is very convenient, but beyond that it's a very average hotel. The bathroom was very small and if you're on the toilet with the door is open it's in your face. They don't carry bags to your room or show you there. The pool isn't heated and so in October it's freezing and only for the brave. The rooftop bar isn't open either after September. The traffic outside is very noisy and definitely not peaceful. We stayed on floor 8 and were woken every night and morming by them moving the metal furniture around on the balcony above. Two small bottles of water in the room and then charged €5.50 for a bottle of water and then and 3 to bring to the room. Breakfast is a standard buffet. If you get tge chance Zest restaurant is good, but you wouldn't want sushi every night. Overall it was convenient but wouldn't recommend for the price.

19 Rooms claims to be a 4-star hotel but lacks many amenities. One of the main issues for me was that they advertise all rooms have AC. While this is technically true, they block the AC feature on the master control system. After the first night, I spoke with the front desk reception about getting the AC running in my room. They advised that they only run the AC in the middle of summer and that heat is on for the rest of the year. This also disables the “Fan” feature in the room. As a result, you get stale air and humidity. The room temperature read 24°C and about 65% humidity based on their control panel. The only option offered was to leave the window open, which faced directly toward the bed, meaning anyone walking through the courtyard could look in and see my wife and me sleeping. I was in Room 18 and ended up checking out early and moving to a different hotel nearby. Pros: Great location with a good view away from bars and restaurants. The breakfast was good and as advertised.

I had high expectations due to the rating. Likes: the layout of the room. The bed was relatively comfortable. Dislikes: it is not 4 stars hotel, 3 at max. Amenities are minimal. I see the dust the corners of the room. Specially when I had to plug in the fridge, there was a lot of dust. One of the male receptionists is not friendly at all. He should not be in service industry. He does not smile and do the bare minimum friendliness to interact with customer. The one that really bothered me was mosquitoes. How is it possible to have mosquitoes in Nov? It attacked me all nights, could not sleep. The breakfast was also quite generic. I did not enjoy at all, so I went out and had at the restaurants for the last 2 days.

Monica was an amazing first glimpse of the hotel! She sat in the reception when we checked in and here friendliness really set the standard! The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, even though the eggs were a little too hard boiled for my personal preference:) Super friendly staff that also offer complementary wine between 6-7 pm!

On a biz trip in Malta for 2 days I have chosen the 19Rooms in Valetta. Small but lovely hotel; warm welcome. Clean and tidy room in modern style. Rooftop terrasse with exceptional view over Valetta and Sliema. Small but rich breakfast. Recommendation for this hotel? A clear YES; not only to avoid big hotel chains.

A nice boutique hotel in an amazing location, right on the edge of Valletta's old city, near the entrance to the "little" harbour. Even though the hotel is just a few blocks from the Grand Master's Palace and other busy tourist spots, the street itself is very calm and quiet. The rooftop terrace has a stunning view over Valletta and the bay, and is also great for watching small boats coming in and out of the harbour. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast with a local touch.

We stayed at the hotel from February 8th to 12th. Overall, we had a really good experience. The food was quite tasty, although not extremely varied. Most of the guests were older British couples — very polite and pleasant people — which created a calm and respectful atmosphere. Everything felt organized, no pushing in lines, and guests behaved considerately during meals, the main reason for this was that there were no russians. The room was simple but cozy. The air conditioning worked well, and the TV was smart. The only downside was that the mattresses were very soft, and the beds were single rather than a double. The evening entertainment was not very impressive at this time of the season, but we would like to compliment the bar — the complimentary cocktails were surprisingly good, and my wife even received champagne. The nights were peaceful and quiet, and we were able to sleep comfortably with the balcony door open. Overall, a pleasant stay with a relaxing atmosphere

This was my first trip to Malta. The Seabank resort and spa was a wonderful place to stay. There were always plenty of options for food and drinks. The room service was excellent. We had Vishnu, and he made sure our room was well looked after. Very friendly, and polite. Also, my mother had lost her hat, and happened to mention it to one of the staff members, and they found it and returned it to our room. Although the hotel is on a busy street, there is a pedestrian crossing that’s easy to manoeuvre, and you can get a bus going anywhere you want to go. We took trips nearly every day to either Valletta, Mdina, Popeyes village, etc. Also, my mother has a severe garlic allergy , and Godfrey, in the coral restaurant made her fresh meals every evening for dinner that contained no garlic. It was very good service

The food selection was impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options that catered to different tastes every day. The pool areas and facilities were well-kept and ideal for both relaxation and fun. Overall, my stay at db Seabank Resort + Spa exceeded my expectations. It’s an amazing destination for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Malta, and I would return again.

First time in Malta and picked this A-maze-ing hotel and spa. Everything runs so smoothly and efficiently with top grade staff. I would like to say a very big Thank you to everyone in the restaurants especially Manisha Ishank Santosh Raja Aman Nisha Anwar Mahmoud Dal bin and Surijana. The daily room service was excellent carried out by Menuka. Fabulous animations team who put on great entertainment and I thoroughly enjoyed the Abba show. I would like to thank Emma and Nadal for Zumba classes. Malta really is a Paradise island and db seabank resort is the place to stay Thank you everyone for everything 🥰🙏

We stayed as family with our 3 year old one week in January 2026 in the db Seabank Resort and Spa hotel. We had a family room (poolside) with AI. We enjoyed it very much. Hotel offers nice inside activites (Wellness, very warm indoor pools [1x 0,3m, 1x 0,9m, 1x 1,2m and a Jacuzzi], kids-playground and many more). We did not even use all facilities. The food was very good and varied daily. Also the offered a-la-carte restaurants were really good and in January it was easy to get a table. The offering of Cola, Fanta & Kinnie and more was great, and we also enjoyed the beer and good mixed cocktails. Only the coffee could be better, but it was still fine. The staff is highly motivated and very friendly. We had some issues in our room (heating, hair dryer), but after reporting them they were fixed promptly. We had the impression, that the hotel has well implemented and exectuted processes and is focused on a good customer experience. The hotel is located on a sandy beach, separated by a busy road (pedestrian traffic light available). However, our room (poolside) was very quiet. The busy road has the advantage of many bus-lines stopping directly infront of the hotel. Location in the north of the island offered some nice kids-friendly activities (trip to Gozo, National Aquarium, Popeye Village, ...). Overall it was a nice stay in the db Seabank Resort and Spa hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this all-inclusive hotel. From the very first moment, everything exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere was relaxing, the facilities were spotless, and the food selection was diverse and delicious every single day. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredibly kind and professional staff. Everyone was always smiling, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. We would especially like to thank Maroune, Jolanta, Nicolle, Kate, Madan and Polish receptionist Angela for their outstanding service, warm attitude, and genuine hospitality. I really appreciate having a Polish-speaking receptionist — it made our stay much more comfortable. They made us feel truly welcome and special throughout our entire stay. We are extremely grateful for such a memorable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect all-inclusive vacation. We will definitely come back!

We had wonderful stay at DB san Antonio last week. Perfect location with lots of restaurants around unfortunately we had inclusive holidays and didn’t had chance to try local food. Hotel Food was delicious and San Antonio has its own restaurants italian/ indian & morocco / chinese and food was really yummy. I recommend to book in advance & try. Services was really good, lot of activities for kids so they don’t get bored. Such friendly staffs. special thanks to Bishnu, babu ram, kamal, nirmala, susmita & kusbu and rest of san antonio staffs for such a great hospitality.

We had a really nice stay in Malta and overall a great experience. The DB San Antonio hotel rooms were clean and well maintained, and Lila, our cleaner, did an excellent job every day which we really appreciated. The weather was a bit windy and cold so we didn’t get much use out of the outdoor pools, but the indoor facilities and gym were good and we made the most of them. The all-inclusive package was good value for money, and while the immediate surrounding area is just okay, the location makes it easy to get to Valletta, St Julian’s, and Mdina without too much travel. Overall, an enjoyable stay and we’d definitely consider coming back.

We were here for one week and it was a nice stay. Everything was on a high level, if you consider it's a four star hotel. The location is excellent, near the coast promenade and the big bus station, so the connection to other places on the island is no problem. The neighbourhood is relatively quiet. The food was ok, also the clearness of the room and the hotel. The staff welcomes you with the smile on their faces. Overall nothing to complain about.

We stayed here during our first family vacation in Malta and had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly, approachable, and showed great hospitality throughout our stay. A special thank you to Bishnu, the bar manager, who made us feel at home when we visited the bar on 16th February. Although the weather was quite windy during our trip, the hotel’s excellent service made our stay truly enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back again.
