This review describes my specific set of circumstances, would not want to generalize as the Sani complex is quite large. We stayed at Sani Beach for 6 days, the second week after opening, in a Junior Suite (Beach) with our 2.5 yrs old daughter. Booking, contact and transport logistics were perfect. On arrival we had to wait a good 20-30 minutes to check in, were offered drinks which never arrived. Room was clean but dated (particularly the bathroom). Beach is oldest (and largest, 467 rooms) building in the complex, built in 1984 and renovated in 2010. Consequently it has material drawbacks. It smelled of damp (it is closed 5 months of the year) on arrival on a cold day. Has no sound insulation to speak of which is problematic at 100% capacity utilization. We could hear babies crying at 6 am, 3 doors down; neighboring rooms flushing toilet; and cleaning ladies shouting at each other at lunchtime. Room cleaning is more akin to a hospital or prison with cleaning ladies under huge time pressure wiping the floor with bleach and leaving them wet (my daughter slipped and fell once). Eating, and dining in particular, was a big problem for us. The in house canteen (Poseidon) is the only place one can eat without a reservation and although it is impressively large and well run it has queues at peak times. The Dine Around program featuring multiple restaurants is basically unusable unless booked well in advance of arrival. The Sani app is half the time not showing availability and the other half not working at all. We had to make a formal complaint, which was promptly addressed, to be able to dine away from the canteen a few times. Even attending the newer, nicer canteen (Artemis) for breakfast requires prior written consent (!) which was checked on arrival. Food quality, in our limited experience, is better at the Greek restaurants than at the other types. Surprisingly, the best food is at Poseidon which is actually an impressive operation given the large amounts of people it feeds every day. Large variety of food, changing very day, with some excellent local dishes. Kudos to Poseidon chefs. Activities are limited for under 6 yr olds, particularly when the weather is bad and the sea and outdoor pools are unusable. Confusingly, many activities for adults are not on the app but published on printed pieces of papers one can find in the elevators every morning. The grounds and beaches are in good nick with very nice and thoughtful landscaping. Staff in general is universally friendly and helpful which went a long way to improving our experience after a pretty shaky start.All in all our daughter had fun, we less so. Management and staff did their best to help but at 100% capacity utilization there was only so much they could do.

We had a wonderful week at Sani Beach in May 2024. It was the perfect hotel to stay with our 3 year old son. Ammos was our favourite spot for breakfast. The food is amazing and we loved the beachfront location. Extra thanks to Julie who made our stay so special and provided exceptional customer service.

I especially appreciated how you upgraded our room to solve an issue promptly I had with our room. We booked this holiday very late for 10 days. When we arrived, you took the stress away from us by booking us into all the restaurants that you thought would be suitable for us as I am quite fussy. You got involved in everything from lifting luggage, opening car doors, dealing with issues and always with a big smile and complete calmness.
We will definitely be making this a vacation we will visit every year. Hope to see you all again soon.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sani Beach Hotel, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and attended to our every need with genuine warmth and professionalism.
The location is simply stunning, with breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and beautifully landscaped gardens. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a fantastic view of the sea. The amenities were top-notch, including a luxurious spa, multiple heated outdoor swimming pools, and a variety of dining options that catered to all tastes.
One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional dining experience. Each restaurant offered a unique culinary journey, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and exquisite flavors. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, with a wide selection of delicious options to start the day.
The activities and entertainment provided were excellent, ensuring there was never a dull moment. Whether it was relaxing on the pristine beach, participating in water sports, or enjoying the evening shows, there was something for everyone.
The management and the organization are the best I have ever seen in any hotel. Special praise goes to Ms. Nikoleta Christodoulou for an exceptional client relationship management!
Overall, Sani Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It is the perfect destination for a relaxing and luxurious getaway. We can’t wait to return!

A top class 5 star resort that was utterly superb for a recharge. We had booked Sani Club but called the day before we arrived and were offered an alternative to Sani Dunes and an upgrade. As a retired couple it turned out this was more suited to those without young children. A very well run hotel. It was utterly perfect, a utopian paradise. 5 star prices however the level of service (thank you Aria) the standard of the facilities and quality of food exceeded expectations. There are numerous activities including daily Pilates classes which one of us enjoyed! Padi diving, top class tennis courts and instructors but no golf. Also live very professional entertainment every evening, we just attended one as we mostly slept, ate and relaxed. There are some 26 restaurants to choose from. We were on half board so were able to eat at most restaurants using the dine around set menu, however we also ate at others without the set menus where the small allowance of 25 euros per person would be deducted from your bill. Most starters were in excess of 25 euros. One of our favourite restaurants was called Elia led by a particularly brilliant charismatic manager. Although I believe the resort was close to full you never felt that it was. Plenty of sun beds. A reasonably strict rule of no reserving beds, although this did happen sadly on our last few days. This was highlighted to our lovely concierge who brought it to the attention of the management and hopefully they will continue to disallow this awful practice! We arrived in the last few days of August and stayed a week. A wonderful experience and now both fully recharged!

Sani Dunes Resort is a gem that truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a seamless check-in process. The resort is impeccably maintained, with beautiful landscaping that instantly sets a relaxing tone.
The on-site dining options are excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes that cater to all tastes.
Overall, Sani Dunes Resort provided an unforgettable experience with exceptional service, comfort, and convenience. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beachside retreat!

The Sani resort is extremely clean and most of the staff are very helpful.
Unfortunately due to the location of the resort the Sani company feel it is ok to overprice absolutely everything they are selling, whether in the Market or in a restaurant be prepared to pay over the odds for everything.
They run a "Dine Around" option which limits your choices of food dramatically however if you digress from said scheme you will be charged massively. At one restaurant we were charged an additional 200 Euros after our discount, we only had two courses and a drink each!
There are signs up at the pool saying Adult Only and despite the complex being quiet (May 2024) these areas definitely weren't Adult Only. Staff were not interested in sorting this.

A shopping mall on the beach that has taken over the best part of the wonderful Sani beach. Avoid it like the plague and go to the other free beaches nearby to enjoy the sand and the pine forest.

My stay at Sani Club was amazing. The care and attention to detail from all staff was faultless. In particular I was very well looked after by Ioanna. She took the time to get to know my children and was warm and welcoming. She was reliable and responsive. She went above and beyond our expectations, providing us with somewhere to freshen up after check out but before a night flight and also helping with a meal we missed on the first night that was part of a half board package.
We will be back again next year!

We visited Sani Club with our 6 month old and 3 year old for our first family holiday and we cannot fault it!
We were so looked after from the get go by Petros and I was able to book everything we needed via email before we even got there and it was all taken care of.
In terms of things the baby needed, it was all there and sorted by the time we got to our room.
The restaurants were amazing and our 3 year old loved the shows! The staff at breakfast even remembered our coffee orders. Everyone was so attentive.
I have actually never been to a resort like this before but it seemed like they do everything others offer, but just better!
We literally cannot wait to come back next year!

One of the nicest we've stayed in Europe.
The resort was well maintained with the greenery well pruned and managed. Paths were clean and little to no litter.
Beaches were combed in the mornings and towels were provided at the beach and on the chairs by the pool.
Pools were heated, we went in Oct so temps were just about ok to go sea and pool.
Accomodations were very nice and well fitted out and when we went lots of chill out lounges we could use; however it was the last week of the resort so wasn't particularly busy.
We didn't have enough towels and missing a bed on arrival but the staff are all very friendly and quick to respond.
So, a few things to note... Full board wasn't quite what I expected. There was a "dine around" menu which was ok, but in some restaurants quite limiting and not much for children. A la carte is available but you get €25 per adult allowance but majority on the menu exceeds this so you will be paying more for food.
There was a fine dining restaurant we went to and was a very poor experience. First they sat us all outside and said couldn't accommodate us with no heating despite having booked. Entire restaurant was pretty much empty apart from 2 small tables. The food was not very "fine" and there was no craving any more of the food. The tiramisu was a big splodge of cream tasting of the dessert...
Drinks were ridiculously expensive...!! We had 3 milkshakes and a non-alcoholic soft drink and came up to around €56... Beer is around €8 up to €25. Water is NOT free at the restaurants and is about €8 per bottle.
Water is free in the room, but you need to request.
Overall, a great resort in Europe, but do expect to pay very high prices, even more than the city prices in some cases

We stayed in a Suite in Sani Club and had a personal concierge called Mila. She was absolutely incredible and did everything in her power to make sure our stay was world class.
The food and drink was great with amazing breakfast and a good selection of restaurants on the dine around menu, the best of which was a greek restaurant in the Marina (I can't quite remember the name).
As you'd imagine it's excellent for children of any age - we brought our 4 month old and he was well taken care of.
Would highly recommend to any of my friends.

We have just got back from a week here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The weather wasn’t brilliant but obviously there was nothing the hotel could do about that, apart from make sure we were comfortable, well fed and watered (the hotels all inclusive cocktail list has something for everyone)
We had some beautiful sunshine throughout the week and the hotels two pools are more than enough, with them both having the benefit of having the sun at different times of day.
The food is varied and the restaurant on the top floor offers picturesque views of the sea and mountains in all directions, everything was clean and the staff were always on hand to make sure that everyone was happy.
Special shout-out to Manos the barman! thank you so much for your hospitality and the rest of the City Green team.

Good hotel close to the centre of Hersonissos but in a quiet location slightly up the hill. Beware, though, if you book through a holiday company transfer as coach transfers cannot manage the narrow street so you have to walk up the hill with your luggage unless you pay for a taxi transfer instead. It’s not that far but is a bit of a pain. Clean rooms with a kettle and tea bags but milk not provided. Has a fridge in every room. The bathroom is small and there are no pegs to hang clothes on and no shelving but there is a cupboard under the sink. The shower is pretty small too but is powerful and has plenty of hot water. 2 good pools for leisure swimming. The restaurant is on the top floor with nice views over the rooftops towards the sea and the inclusive food was good if slightly repetitive but the inclusive wine wasn’t that nice. On tap beer was fine. The staff were lovely and very helpful, particularly Christian at reception. A decent hotel to stay in for a quiet holiday without children.

Hi! Me and my partner stayed here from 14th-22nd October 2024, we have had a great time! Not sure why there are bad reviews! When we arrived at 2am we were handed a bottle of water and they took us to the restaurant where they had food left for us! Never had this before in a hotel and it was much much appreciated! The hotel has 2 pools which are very clean, the restaurant is great, great food very fresh also! It’s on the 4th floor which has some great views! Especially when you’re eating it’s lovely, the rooms are very clean and very modern , the beds are super comfy! And the pillows are even great, the hotel is very clean, staff are lovely and welcoming. Bar is open from 10am-11pm, good drinks on offer you do have to pay more to have special all inclusive drinks such as cocktails and it’s 14€ a day to upgrade, hotel is great would definitely come back, it’s in a lovely area full of lots to do and it’s lovely and quiet so easy to relax, I would definitely come back! Please ignore the bad reviews people are very fussy. If I had to be very picky and say something I wasn’t keen on it would be that they don’t have Coca Cola on tap it’s more soda water which isn’t the nicest, but we stuck to fanta orange which was great!

We booked this hotel through Jet2, and it was advertised as a 4-star. However, I don't think this is a 4-star. When you are dropped off, you are told the coach cannot get directly to the front of the hotel, so you are dropped off on the main road and have to walk to the hotel. It's not far, but it can be a little confusing as a new arrival (the rep gave us a little map, which helped). When we arrived late, we were given access to the restaurant, and a pre-made meal was available with access to self-serve wine, beer, and soft and hot drinks. This was very welcomed, and the night manager was very attentive. We paid 49 euros (for two people) in hotel tax, which wasn't explained by Jet2, but I knew about it from friends, and it is based on the star rating per person per night. The hotel, in general, is very clean, but our room was very small, and the balcony wasn't really big enough for two people to comfortably sit. The bathroom was tiny, and the toilet required us to sit at an angle. The shower was small, and the curtain constantly clung to you, requiring towels to be put down on the floor. There were plenty of towels, a safe and a kettle (in the wardrobe!) There were some tes bags but no coffee and no milk. A small fridge was also in the wardrobe under the shelf with the kettle. There was no iron or ironing board, but we got one from reception for free. There was a very good AC unit in the room with a remote, and as advised by staff, it didn't work if the patio doors were open (which is good as AC needs to be in a sealed room). There was a large smart TV on the wall with a few basic English-speaking channels, mostly news, but there was a facility to stream from a tablet/phone through the hotel wi-fi, which was very fast and reliable. We stayed in October, so I dare say that entertainment might have been better in the main season, but there was no entertainment other than a saxophone player on the third night. The only areas for drinks and food were the restaurant on the top floor, which only had specific opening hours, and the small pool bar, which didn't have many snacks other than a few dry goods and some ice cream. The all-inclusive drinks were basic, the spirits were local and not very good, and the cocktails were very sweet, but the beer was good. Most people who sat at the pool bar were making their entertainment, such as playing cards or playing pool on the dated and not very well-lit pool table, which I think charged 2 euros to use. There was some music piped, but it was quiet and not very contemporary - more like lift music. The restaurant was on the 4th floor, and there were stairs and a lift, but the lift was small, and its priority settings were a little off (e.g. you got in and pressed four, but it went to ground because someone had pressed the button). The food in the restaurant was not 4-star. The set-up was more like a canteen. There was plenty of food, and it was hot, but it was very repetitive, not indicative of local foods and the desserts were frozen, sometimes not having been thawed out properly. The food was OK - not brilliant - I have stayed in 4-star hotels, and the food has been amazing. Not here, unfortunately. We felt the need to eat out numerous times to get a taste of traditional cuisine. At no time were any of our room supplies filled by service staff. We had to purchase tea, coffee and milk from the local supermarket. We even had to purchase alcohol because the choice on site was so poor unless you paid a premium to upgrade to all-inclusive plus (which was extortionate, in my opinion). Service was ok, but one day, they didn't make our beds, they just left folded sheets for us to do. No water fill-ups in the fridge - we had to buy our own water. In conclusion, I have stayed in amazing 4-star hotels, and unfortunately, City Green is not one of them. If they said three stars, they could just about get away with that, but I have stayed in better Premier Inns in the UK. I loved Crete and the location is brilliant, but I wouldn't stay at City Green again.

Great location in Dublin - a little away from the busiest tourist area which we enjoyed. Walkable to many sights around the city and close to many restaurant options. We really enjoyed the hotel. It was very clean and had the perfect bedroom types for our two families traveling together (9 people in total). The staff was wonderful and accomodating when we arrived early. My teenager left his wallet behind when we checked out and were heading out of the city so they kindly kept it safe until we could return before our flight at the end of the week. Definitely would return and recommend highly!

Our week-long stay at the Belvedere during November was absolutely wonderful! The rooms were large, clean and beautifully decorated, as were the common areas. The hotel staff was so friendly, and were always there to greet us, offer assistance, and ask about our day. The staff during breakfast were so friendly, checking on tables and offering to bring us another cup of coffee or cappuccino. In the evening, the bar staff was just as wonderful!! They were quick to greet us, ask about our day, and take our drink order. One of the evenings, we asked for drink recommendations and those drinks became our new favorites! Loved the hotel, great price for Dublin and a decent location for sightseeing. Although not as central as others it's definitely worth looking into as there's still plenty of things to do around. Also quite a nice and safe area from the look and feels of it.
Room was a bit good ( no AC) so we had the window open all say and that made the temperature perfect and wasn't to loud with outside noise.
Checkin process was smooth, staff super friendly and able to leave bags behind desk on last day after checking out.
Would consider staying here again if I visit Dublin again.
Only 'upgrade' would be a smart TV in the room.

The hotel is in the heart of the city center, close to the Spire statue. The room is small, there was no small wardrobe, so we dressed from our suitcase. The bed was large and comfortable, the hotel was clean and quiet, the staff was nice and attentive. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.

I visited in late August. By far the best hotel I’ve stayed at and I’ve visited many countries and stayed at many hotels! The hotel is so clean and tidy, the room service is amazing, all the staff in the hotel are super friendly and warm! We picked this resort ultra last minute. It was full even though we were offseason. All in all we were satisfied. Rooms are a bit “older”, have everything, but no luxury. Restaurant is cool offers high variety of foods. Water is gorgeous (they have a blue flag). And the resort itself has a lot of nature and greenery! Very accessible (stroller/wheelchair). The only other downside would be that you are in the middle of nowhere. So if you want to feel a little vibe, go out to a city you have to use the car.

All round good service but had problems with the A/C, bunk beds were slack and flimsy, food was a bit canteen ish and not a great choice, add more alcohol to the all inclusive list because what you have is not much and fix your slides because where they join together needs to be filled as there like a cheese grater when you go over them. Other than that good location lots to do and nowhere is 100% but it's the small things that count.

To be honest reading the reviews I was dreading coming here! I can honestly say we’ve had the best time here! The kids have loved it they’ve been busy all week with kids clubs discos every night for them the entertainment staff have been fantastic :) they been playing in pools all day and the rooms are nice as well.
The food has been really good I mean what do you expect at 4* hotel there have been meals for everyone. Lots of healthy options. Only down fall is the all inclusive bar but it depends on what type of holiday your looking for!
It’s really close to the town with lots to do. Walking distance from the beaches lots of restaurants near by.
We had a late flight home and they let us stay in the hotel all day and use all the facilities until we had left which was a really late evening flight at no extra cost!
All in all nothing to complain about here.

I stayed at this hotel for 10 days recently and I will definitely be returning, perfect for children, they absolutely loved the pools, play areas and slides. Disco each night was a bit repetitive but kids loved learning the same dances. food could be a bit better but we always found something to eat as there’s plenty of option. Our room was very clean with a perfect sea view. I think the reviews on here are very harsh, I was dreading my holiday after reading them but was pleasantly surprised.

The room was practical, nothing fancy but absolutely fine to rest your head. The food was ok. The location was great. The staff in the onsite supermarket were lovely. The 2 Albanian gentleman working the pool bars were the rudest, most miserable people I met the whole holiday. Advice, get a job where do you don't deal with people. I would recommend this place for families. It can be quite busy, but you have everything you need here.

The hotel has a beautiful courtyard, delicious food, and a clean beach, these deserve positive recognition. However, our overall experience was affected by several serious shortcomings. Our room was only made available around 7 PM, several hours after our arrival. The elevator to the beach was out of service throughout our stay, and the beach bar consistently opened with at least a 40-minute delay. There was a persistent lack of beverage options, and on multiple evenings, service at the main bar was halted by 9 PM due to a supposed shortage of glasses, despite being advertised to operate until 1 AM. The attitude of the staff at the main bar was often unprofessional, in particular, one bartender displayed rude and inappropriate behavior toward many guests. During our à la carte dinner, service was poor: there were no side plates, the waiter was impolite, and at one point, an assistant waiter openly offended us.

During my stay, I found the bedroom to be quite nice. It was well-furnished, with comfortable bedding and a clean, modern aesthetic that made me feel at home. The decor was tasteful and the room was spacious enough to provide a relaxing environment after long working hours.
The beach, on the other hand, was absolutely stunning. It quickly became my favorite spot. Each morning, I would take a walk along the shoreline, enjoying the serene sound of the waves crashing against the shore and the gentle sea breeze. The sand was soft and the water clear, perfect for a quick swim to refresh myself before starting the day’s work. The sunsets at the beach were particularly breathtaking, providing a beautiful backdrop for winding down in the evening.
As for the food, it was alright. The menu had a decent variety, though it didn’t particularly stand out. Some dishes were quite enjoyable, while others were just satisfactory. It was sufficient to keep me fueled throughout my stay, but not particularly memorable.
Overall, my experience was positive, largely due to the pleasant accommodations and the stunning beach. The food might not have been exceptional, but the other aspects more than made up for it, making my working stay enjoyable.

me and my boyfriend came here as our first holiday together, we had the best week, when we arrived the hotel was even better than expected and the staff were so welcoming, our room was cleaned everyday and it was big and we had the most beautiful terrace, the beach is amazing as well as the pool there is so much to do within the resort, the location is perfect as we ventured out to the most beautiful greek towns that are all in close perimeter to the hotel. there are always activities going on and you can get really involved it’s great. the manager of the hotel is always present and is lovely he welcomed us on the first night and we got some free drinks, and thanked us for staying when we left. we had the best week ever staying at this hotel and we would definitely recommend and would love to come back :)

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. Based on the 4-star rating your hotel advertises, I had much higher expectations, but none of them were met during my stay. Some of the key issues I encountered include:
1. **Food**: The quality of the food was very poor. Many of the meals were cold, tasteless, and there was a very limited selection for a hotel that claims to offer high-class services.
2. **Cleanliness**: The rooms were far from clean. I noticed dirt in several areas of the room, and even the bathrooms were not properly cleaned.
3. **Service**: The service from the staff was disorganized and unprofessional. There were significant delays in addressing basic requests, and there was a general lack of customer care.
Given these experiences, I feel that the hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star establishment and I would not recommend it to others. I hope you take this feedback into consideration and make improvements for future guests.

I regret to inform you that my experience with the superior villa was less than satisfactory.Despite paying for a superior treatment, I was disappointed to learn of additional charges for sun beds, towel cleaning, and the safe. Furthermore, the inconvenience of having the lift to the beach turned off, requiring a lengthy walk around the hotel, was particularly challenging with a small child and a stroller. Additionally, the frequent closure of the pools was frustrating and denied using hotels facilities. The presence of a lizard in the room was also concerning. Consequently, I will not be staying there anymore

We stayed at the hotel for five days and four nights, and truly enjoyed our time there.
The service was excellent — the staff was kind, helpful, and always available when we needed something. Even though most of them spoke primarily French, they made a big effort to understand us and assist us in every possible way. It really showed how much they cared.
The food was absolutely delicious — rich, varied, and plentiful. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, and we always found something fresh and tasty to enjoy.
Although we visited during a rainy period, it didn’t take away from the experience. The hotel offered plenty of indoor activities and entertainment, so we were never bored. Honestly, if we had such a great time in rainy weather, I can only imagine how amazing it must be in the summer!
In short — a warm and welcoming vacation, with great service, wonderful food, and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates genuine hospitality and a hotel that truly invests in its guests.

I spend 9 days with my family on all inclusive. The hotel was very nice and spacious. The food was good and the service was also very nice. The choice of food and drinks was impeccable.
A big plus is the sunbeds on the beach and a small bar, a very nice way to spend time.
The downside is that most of the activities were conducted in French and not always translated. The hotel is generally worth recommending

The dining options were impressively diverse, featuring a wide variety of meats, fish, side dishes, vegetables, fruits, desserts, and delicious ice cream. The restaurant, with its cozy atmosphere and stunning sea view, was a highlight of our experience.
Access to the beach is very convenient, The beach area was pleasant, with sun-beds available.
The hotel maintained two beautiful pools, both featuring a lively atmosphere with music and breathtaking views. There’s also a designated shallow area for children, along with a gaming room to keep them entertained.
The staff was friendly and engaging, providing excellent service - multilingual, speaking German, French, and English. They were incredibly welcoming, always smiling, and eager to assist in any way.
Overall, we had an amazing time and highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic all-inclusive experience!

I was with my partner on a week's holiday, I definitely do not recommend this hotel if someone suffers from asthma. The entire hotel smells incredibly of chlorine, which made it hard to get out of bed in the morning plus a sore throat. I will also add that people using wheelchairs or the physically disabled will have problems getting to the hotel or moving around on its premises.
Apart from that, the hotel is really nice, nice views and we got a nice room (for an additional fee of course). Hotel service at a high level so there was nothing to find fault with. Animation only in French so if someone wants to go to this hotel with children, please keep that in mind. The drinks at the bar were very weak, the wine from the restaurant was much stronger, strange. Souvenir shops at every turn are a big plus, two supermarkets right next to the hotel are also a plus. The sea is about 200 meters from the hotel, so very close.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rodos Maris, and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with every detail, but a few highlights truly stood out.
Firstly, the food at the hotel was another memorable aspect of my stay. Each meal was delicious, with a diverse range of cuisines to try. The real stars of the culinary experience, though, were the sweets! Each dessert was like a work of art, both in presentation and taste. I found myself eagerly awaiting each meal just to try a new treat—the pastries, cakes, and chocolate delicacies were simply out of this world.
The sea view was beyond breathtaking. The beach was pristine with crystal-clear waters, and the gentle waves created the most serene atmosphere. Whether lounging by the shore or taking a sunset stroll, I felt as if I’d found a slice of paradise.
Lastly, a special mention to the wonderful team at the Mexican restaurant. The waitresses were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel like family from the start. Their warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to each dining experience, making it feel truly authentic.

The suite we’ve stayed in is perfect, spacious and private with all the amenities we needed. We were very grateful for the selection of pillows that were available. The bed was very comfortable. Big shout out to Joy who went above and beyond to make the most delicious mocktails - she made every effort to be creative and provide for us which was really appreciated and she always served with a smile! The staff at the hotel are clearly very hard-working and dedicated to providing the guests with a good experience. We’ve really loved the crêperie - they’ve served us with a smile every time and served crêpes that would make the French proud! The staff who cleaned and restocked our room have also gone above and beyond and done an excellent job keeping our room clean, fresh and restocked!

The only improvement would be the Mexican restaurant's dishes having more flavour! Also the drinks...there is zero consistency! On one night the cocktails were 100% alcohol and undrinkable, however other nights they were delicious! At the beach bar - the guy makes amazing cocktails but the lady....I don't know why but her cocktails don't taste great! Staff definitely need some training and there needs to be overall consistency. Also every bar has a menu but a lot of the times they don't have the ingredients to make the drinks on the menu and don't have ingredients to make classics either

I recently returned from a five-day stay at Mitsis Rodos Village, and overall, I had a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff were incredibly welcoming. A special shoutout to Arland, whose positive energy and outstanding customer service truly made my stay memorable. I’d also like to thank Maria, who worked at the crepe station — she was so lovely and made the most delicious crepes — as well as Frederic, who was equally friendly and provided excellent service.
The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. However, I do feel the food could be improved, as there weren't many options available for me, particularly since I couldn’t eat the meat dishes, and overall, the flavors were a bit underwhelming.
Lastly, it's worth noting that the hotel is quite a distance from Rhodes Town, so keep that in mind if you plan to explore the area.

We had a great time during our week at this hotel. Entertainment was excellent both activities for adults and kids. The kids disco with Klaudia and daily activities with William were a particular highlight. It was a pity that we couldn’t use the amphitheatre because of the weather. We managed to book all of the a la carte restaurants in advance, the Asian was our favourite, the prawns and ribs were delicious! Maria from the creperie always welcomed us with a smile and delicious crepes. George the lifeguard was very helpful, he went above and beyond to check progress following a grazed knee incident. We would love to return!

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this hotel is for all it has to offer, especially as we are still here and travelling home tonight. The staff are so hardworking but remain happy, efficient and polite. The sense of feeling welcome never left us. The chefs and dining staff performed wonders at offering us a massive choice of meals, more or less 24hrs a day. The quality of the food is superb. The housekeeping is first class and the beds a so comfortable it's unreal. Along with the beach buggy hire which is part of the complex, you can hire bikes, scooters and cars too. We had fun in a buggy. Kos town is lovely too, and full of historical interest if you're that way inclined. We came here at the very start of the season, so its been a mixture of rain and breeze along with the improving sunshine. The place is quite full as its Easter break, however the hotel is spread so well, you never feel crowded. We will be back for sure. A top quality hotel, with top quality people working in it to make everyone feel a bit special.

The long serving gentleman down at the beach bar is another special man sorry forgot your name, I believe he has worked at the Ramira for 45ish years extraordinary . The reception staff are so kind and helpful. And a big thank you to Athina who was so kind and got my wives walking stick back to her after she had left it behind at the Ramira.

We stayed at Mitsis Ramira Hotel in Kos in April. It’s a good, clean resort, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The weather was warm but a little windy, and the beach water was too cold for swimming. Unfortunately, the pools were also unheated, which was disappointing, especially for the kids who couldn’t enjoy the pool or the beach.
The restaurant food was okay, but it became repetitive as the same or similar dishes were served daily, so we eventually ordered food from outside. On the positive side, the hotel offered a late buffet, which was a thoughtful touch for guests arriving late or feeling hungry.
Housekeeping, activities staff, and receptionists were friendly and professional. However, some senior staff in the main restaurant appeared selective and less welcoming, while the kitchen chefs were friendly and always greeted us warmly. The bar staff, including the waiters and waitresses, worked very hard and provided great service.
There was a massage service by the beach, which was relaxing with the sound of the waves. Irina, the masseuse was amazing, I even went twice! The only downside was the lack of privacy, as massages were done outdoors with others nearby.
The beach bar served gyros, burgers, and hot dogs, which were very good. There was also a crêperie, which we visited a few times, though the waffle and crepe were a little dry the first time, and there was usually a long queue. Staff at the crêperie seemed a bit overwhelmed.
I also attended sunrise yoga, which was a wonderful and relaxing way to start the day. The resort offered bike rentals too, riding into town with a group was a lot of fun!
Evening entertainment was limited, mostly live singers and not as engaging as at other resorts I’ve visited.
Overall, Mitsis Ramira is a clean and family friendly resort with some great amenities, but a few areas could be improved for a better experience.

This is one of the finest all-inclusive resorts I have ever experienced.
The staff were exceptionally helpful, and the hotel itself was remarkable—accessible, situated in a tranquil area, and truly perfect.
The hospitality was outstanding; although we encountered a check-in issue due to my oversight, the gentleman at the reception reassured us and went above and beyond to ensure our reservation was correct and that we were in the right place.
Fortunately, we managed to check in within 15 minutes despite the minor hiccup.
Upon entering our room, we were welcomed with fresh towels, clean sheets, and spotless floors; the room was impeccably tidy.
There was no dust on the surfaces or smudges on the windows, and this level of cleanliness was maintained throughout our stay, with regular cleaning and fresh towels provided.
Our room included a mini fridge that was consistently replenished.
The buffet offered an impressive variety of options, ensuring there was something for everyone at every meal, and the cocktails and soft drinks available in the bar areas were excellent.
The entertainment was enjoyable, featuring different acts and shows each night that catered to families.
The staff were exceptional, from the reception team to the restaurant and bar personnel, as well as the guest relations team and shopkeepers; all were friendly and incredibly helpful.
A few staff members truly stood out and enhanced our experience, and while I could list them all, it would be quite extensive, which speaks volumes about their hospitality.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the guest relations team, who reached out to discuss a birthday package upon learning it was my birthday during our stay.
They surprised us with a cake and a complimentary bottle of bubbly delivered to our room, which genuinely made my day.
My friends and I had an unforgettable time, and we are grateful to all the team members for making our first girls' trip so memorable!
We are definitely planning to return.

Fantastic hotel, with exceptional service and food. Vast range of swimming pools and restaurants, you didn't feel like you were in a hotel. Staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help you. Facilities were vast, my wife took advantage of the spa, and my son and I enjoyed very much the star gazing and astronomy session. Being able to see some of the planets and a double star was wonderful. All in all, it was a fantastic holiday, in a fantastic hotel, with exceptional service and quality.

One of the best holiday vacation in Europe- Visited in May 24, with outstanding service and an excellent location. We stayed at the Atrium Prestige to celebrate my 40th birthday with my husband and x2 children aged 6 and 11 on all-inclusive plus basis and we will for sure be back again!.
My daughter had a fantastic time at the beach, onsite playground and swimming pools. The Spa was amazing however my husband and I had to use the spa separately as Unfortunately we were not able to use the spa as a family as it was adults only but we were able to enjoy the outdoor and heated pools together.
The hotel’s app was top notch, ordering at the pool, beach or main bar and room service for in-room dining or requesting room service or amenities way easier and faster. Beautiful resort. The rooms were nice and clean. the staff was friendly. The food was delicious. Before we even left my family was talking about when we'd come back. Highly recommend.
We had the opportunity to visit sister hotels in old Rhode Town and Lindos in Rhodes the Atrium Platinum and Atrium Palace with the dine around service and all hotels were fabulous
We would like to compliment Operations Manager “Katerina” on surprising me on arrival with bottle of champagne, birthday cake and room service snacks on our arrival to the hotel- you really made it a special and a memorable 40th birthday welcome present.
We also would like to compliment “Kristina” from Guest Relations for always greeting us and going the extra mile to ensure our needs were all catered for, she was helpful and very informative and the sweet charming head waiter at the Pool Restaurant.
Thank you to all the staff members for welcoming us and taking care of us in your 5 star hotel. Very impressed with service of replacing the bedroom mattress within 10 minutes of request to reception. They made our vacation extra special! The Greeks are very hospitable people!!

Absolutely not worth the price – a complete disappointment
We booked this hotel through Booking.com for a one-night stay, expecting a relaxing experience with a private pool, garden view, and a bathtub in a five-star setting. Unfortunately, what we got was a frustrating, disappointing, and frankly unacceptable stay from start to finish.
Upon entering the room at 16:00, we immediately noticed several major issues:
There was no bathtub,
No garden view,
And worst of all, the private pool was dirty—so dirty we couldn’t even step into it.
We informed reception by 17:00, and they assured us it would be cleaned “right away.” Trusting them, we went for a drink at the pool bar, only to be served some of the cheapest, worst-tasting drinks we’ve ever had—definitely not five-star quality.
By 18:30, the pool still hadn’t been cleaned. We returned to the reception at 19:00 to request a room change, and were told the only thing they could offer was to clean the pool—which they still hadn’t done. We even contacted Booking.com, and they were told the cleaning would happen “immediately.” Spoiler: it didn’t.
Dinner was just as bad. The buffet food was practically inedible, and drinks at the bar tasted cheap and poorly made. At this point, we hadn’t eaten or drunk anything decent all day.
We returned to our room at 21:30, only to find cleaning equipment thrown into the pool, but the water still dirty and untouched. Nothing had been cleaned. We went to sleep, and woke up at 7:30 the next morning to men outside our room cleaning the pool, destroying any sense of privacy. For nearly an hour, we had to keep our curtains closed while strangers were right in our yard.
The pool was finally “clean” at 9:00—two hours before checkout.
So to recap:
No pool use
No garden view
No bathtub
Inedible food and drinks
No privacy
And zero compensation
Breakfast was just as terrible—the orange juice tasted like watered-down artificial syrup.
The only reason we booked this hotel was to enjoy the pool and view for a relaxing one-night escape. We couldn’t use or enjoy either. Throughout all of this, the staff made no real effort to improve our stay. They refused to offer a refund, even though we couldn’t use the facilities we specifically paid for. The only thing they offered was another night at the hotel—which we declined, as we won’t be returning to Rhodes anytime soon.
Do yourself a favor: save your time, money, and expectations. This hotel does not deliver anything close to a five-star experience.

We just returned from the most incredible stay at Lindos Imperial Resort, and I can confidently say it was one of the best holiday experiences we've ever had.
From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and hospitality. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and eager to help throughout our entire stay.
Our room was immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated with modern touches—and the sea view was simply breathtaking. Waking up to the sunrise over the Aegean each morning was magical.
The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds, multiple pools (including a quiet adults-only pool and a fun area with water slides for kids), and direct access to a gorgeous, clean beach. There was always plenty of space to relax, and the vibe throughout the resort was peaceful and joyful.
Food was a highlight! With a variety of restaurants serving everything from authentic Greek cuisine to international favorites, every meal was a pleasure. The themed nights added a special touch, and we always looked forward to dinner.
There were also plenty of activities and entertainment options—live music, games, a spa, and easy access to explore Lindos town. We appreciated how the resort struck the perfect balance between relaxation and fun.
In short, Lindos Imperial Resort exceeded all expectations. It’s a place where luxury meets genuine Greek hospitality. We left with unforgettable memories and are already planning our return.
Highly recommended to couples, families, and anyone looking for a flawless Greek island getaway!

I'm baffled by the ratings and reviews of this hotel. I looked up what is purported to be the most luxurious hotel on the island, and the most expensive, but what this hotel offers is far from what I expected.
Service was so slow, most of my time was spent waiting (and I had nowhere to be, so imagine how slow it is), there are bugs and spiders all over the property. I had to call the front desk to take care of pests in my room multiple times, and was scared to enter my room or sleep because of this issue. The busy road that divides the rooms on one side of the property from the other is a hazard.
The staff is trying hard. They were friendly and great overall, but just too slow and not well-trained in hospitality. Management has so much room to improve the product and attract even more business. The location in Corfu is perhaps to their benefit, and if other hotels on the island are worse, maybe in the management's view there's no need to improve the product.
Very confused. I guess I would recommend caution if staying here, especially for special occasions.

This hotel is beautiful - the location is incredible, with its own beach with plenty of comfortable loungers. The food in the restaurant (we went half board) was great with a menu of the day each evening, as well as the regular restaurant menu. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of options.
The room was large, spacious and very comfortable with a massive bed. My only negative was housekeeping - it was done regularly, but attention to detail was not there. The mini fridge in the room was quite unclean, occasionally glasses and dishes were not cleared away properly, flowers in the room wilted and died but were not taken away. A minor point for improvement.
The main thing to highlight at this hotel is the wonderful staff. Everyone from reception, to hosts at both restaurants, waiting staff, beach bar staff - all of them were incredible. We felt very looked after, very cared for - nothing was too much effort for them to sort out or help with. I cannot stress this enough - the staff are just wonderful.
I would happily return to this fabulous hotel.
I'd also recommend renting a boat from Privilege boats next door - amazing experience driving a boat around the island!

Interesting pictures. Nothing like the real place. This hotel is split across the road. Away from the beach the hotel is on a hill and has fabulous views and a beautiful pool. The other side of the road are the rooms and the restaurant. The rooms are nicer than standard but nothing like the pics. You're not getting luxury, and items were missing from my room which took 4 days and 3 phone calls to have replaced like my bedroom carpet! Sea view doesn't mean a sea view - just that you can glimpse it through the trees (which block the view) if you're lucky.
There is an air of elegance here. The food was superb with three different choices of restaurant. The breakfast was a delight with multiple options of everything inc smoothies and juices, and different local honeys. The beach was small and stoney but there was sand in the sea which was crystal clear. The waiter service on the beach was fun - with a bell at each parasol we barely had to move at all except into the water. I'm not sure you're really getting value for money - the pics really do not match what you get, and we had no idea how to get what the pics showed (and money wasn't a problem).

We had a wonderful holiday at this resort. The food was excellent, especially at the a la carte restaurants, but the buffet was also fresh with a lot of variety. The seaside is gorgeous to swim in and the pool is large, clean and nice to spend time around. Easy to find beach chairs at the pool and sea in September. The staff were very friendly and always helpful as well. Rooms are clean, large and well maintained. An excellent experience!

Went here recently with husband and toddler and we had an excellent stay. The service and food was excellent and the location of the hotel is great to. It is situated on the seafront with only a few footsteps away from the sand and sea. We went in September and the water was beautiful and clear and warm to. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and professional. This is definitely a 5 star hotel and we would definitely stay again. Our toddler also spent some time in the crèche where she had a lovely time and the staff here were also very good.

We stayed in May 2024 so my feedback is with delay. I hope since then it was improved.
If I would write a book about the Domes Aulus Zantes territory I would call “The Dried Paradise”. Comparing the pictures from our tour provider or the official photo gallery from Marriott website against reality made me regret trusting them. I was hoping that not only my stomach or sea hunger body will be pleased but also my eyes by green reach flora (like it was in Corfu). Walking across the territory I made a conclusion that their gardening team only knows how to trim the grass. And in the same time has completely forgotten what a crucial role water plays in any plants lifecycle. Absolutely no irrigation system is being installed in this “5 star experience”. The grass looks weak with huge burned dry spots or in worse case just empty spots of dry soil. Bushes and palms are… I am not sure I know how to describe it. I uploaded an image of such a bush to ChatGPT4 and asked to describe it. Here what it says
“The image features a small garden scene with a path leading towards a building in the background. In the foreground, there is a young tree that appears distressed, with many of its leaves brown and wilted. Surrounding the tree, the ground is sparsely covered with grass and small shrubs. Me being human could provide a more biased opinion unlike an AI which will give mostly facts. And yes “perhaps neglected garden area” is a perfect match for it.

Honest Review of Grecotel Luxme Dama Dama
We recently stayed at Grecotel Luxme Dama Dama, and while there were definitely highlights, our overall experience was mixed.
Positives:
The staff were, without question, the standout aspect of our stay. From the poolside to the front desk, every interaction was marked by genuine warmth and professionalism. Special mention goes to the exceptional bar staff—Alexa Valerios & Emiliano who were consistently attentive and seemed to anticipate our needs before we voiced them, and Eliza, the assistant front of house manager, was prompt and helpful whenever concerns were raised. Fotini front of house also needs special mention. Dimitra and Maria in the à la carte restaurant also went above and beyond in delivering fantastic service.
The resort’s lobby, with its lovely view over the pool, added to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Both the lobby and pool areas were immaculately kept and ideal for unwinding. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touch of having drinks brought directly to our table after ordering—something that truly elevated the experience. Additionally, the hotel’s WhatsApp service was extremely responsive and convenient, a modern and useful feature for guests.
Areas for Improvement:
Our room, unfortunately, did not meet expectations. Facing a busy road, the traffic noise was persistent and intrusive—light sleepers will need earplugs. Early mornings were disrupted by a gardener using a leaf blower before 7:30 a.m., and the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool and comfortable.
Cleanliness was below what we would expect from a 4-star resort. There were areas that had clearly been missed during cleaning, including a stained toilet that was easily remedied with a brush—something housekeeping should have caught but instead I cleaned to remove the staining. Evidence of this was shown to the management team. Coffee pods and mini bar items were inconsistently restocked, contrary to what we were told. In our replacement room, the shower was broken, and I had to fix it myself—disappointing, especially given the other issues we had already encountered.
The buffet was another letdown; the hot food was seldom more than lukewarm.
A particularly unpleasant incident occurred when we unknowingly used a reserved gazebo by the pool. There was no signage or communication about needing to pre-book these, and the public removal by Marta from guest relations was both embarrassing, humiliating and poorly handled. Rather than offering a sincere apology, we were met with a defensive explanation and a lack of accountability. Marta really needs a lesson in proficient communication skills!
Additionally, while signs in the lift state that sunbeds cannot be reserved, by 8:15 a.m. every morning, nearly all were “claimed” with towels—despite no one actually using them as they appeared to have gone for breakfast. I was up early one day and watched the bed reservations start at 6.50am! I have the photographic evidence of this.
If rules like these are advertised, they should be enforced.
Final Thoughts:
To their credit, management was responsive when concerns were raised, which we appreciated.
Grecotel Luxme Dama Dama has a lot going for it, and some guests may have a seamless experience. But for us, the contrast between the excellent service from individual staff members and the inconsistencies in room quality, communication, and operations made it feel like a hit-and-miss stay. With better attention to detail and guest communication, it could truly live up to its potential.

Just returned from a fantastic weeks stay at the Grecotel Dama Dama. The staff are exceptional. The place is truly amazing.
Having the option of a huge chilled pool with the sea and beach right on your doorstep. Would highly recommend for families, couples and even solo travelers.
There is a variety of entertainment and activities that you can partake in if you wish but there’s no pressure.
It’s high on the list of places I’d like to return to.

A stunning location on the shores of the Aegean sea, warm water, a gently sloping beach. Alright it's not soft powdery white sand but you can't have everything.
Its definitely geared more towards families than say couples, and as a solo traveller it's not the best hotel I've ever stayed in, but there things to do all day and into the night
Food is fantastic, you don't have to wait long for a drink, but if you're on the beach or by the pool, then you're getting you're own drinks sadly.
I had a superior poolside bungalow, which isn't that superior and not really at the side of the pool, but I could pop back whenever I wanted which is handy.
A la carte restaurants are better than the buffet, but you need to book well in advance if your trip as space is limited.
There is a lot to like about the Grecotel Dama Dama, and I give it 4 stars, even though they claim to be a 5 star hotel......

Domes Aulus Elounda – A Truly Memorable Stay
From the moment we arrived, the first impressions were outstanding. The front entrance, lobby, and waiting area are beautifully designed, and the warm welcome from the staff immediately set the tone. After a quick and easy check-in (including a short briefing on pool use and local taxes), we were taken to our room—which was fantastic. Modern, minimalist, and elegant, with a touch of luxury that made it feel really special.
The all-inclusive buffet options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were consistently superb, with the menu changing daily to keep things fresh and exciting. On top of that, the hotel features three high-quality à la carte restaurants. These are well worth booking through the concierge desk by the bar—but do so early, as reservations fill up quickly.
The staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Every single team member we encountered, across all departments and shifts, was polite, attentive, and friendly. They went out of their way to engage in conversation and enhance our stay. A special shoutout to the two main staff members at the downstairs bar during the end of September 2024—while I regret not catching their names, their professionalism, charm, and genuine energy made a great stay even better.
The only slightly negative note was an interaction with the spa staff. Just a heads-up: avoid using the product testers in front of them—they can be a bit territorial. That said, the spa operates separately from the hotel, so it’s a minor issue. A quiet dab of moisturiser when they’re not looking and you’ll be fine.
The scenery around Elounda and Spinalonga is simply breathtaking. The bay’s shallow waters retain warmth well into September, making it a dream to swim in. The private beach was a standout feature, with an all-inclusive bar serving a rotating menu of fresh fruit bowls, salads, sandwiches, and excellent cocktails.
If you venture beyond the hotel, a leisurely walk along the beautiful beachfront toward Elounda reveals a great selection of top-tier restaurants. I highly recommend Despina Taverna, Magali Cretan Cooking, and Moonspinners for a memorable night out.
I genuinely couldn’t recommend Domes Aulus Elounda enough. It strikes the perfect balance between luxury and laid-back charm, making it ideal for couples, groups, or solo travellers looking to unwind in style. The attention to detail, the quality of service, and the stunning location all come together to create something really special. Whether you're soaking up the sun by the private beach, enjoying world-class food, or simply relaxing in your room with those unforgettable views—this is a place that stays with you long after you leave.

Once again and for the second time in 4 months we had a wonderful heartwarming stay. The welcome reception to us and our two little dogs was great. The reception staff, driver's staff, beach staff, housecleaning staff and staff at Nikei and Restaurant at the top are simply superb, professional and outstandingly polite. A real mix of good and not so good. Location and views are stunning. Service was very mixed, some staff were lovely, friendly and engaging, while others looked and acted like they just couldn't care and didn't want to be there. Certainly not a 5* experience, overpriced when compared to other 5* hotels. Housekeeping in our room was awful, we had to wear slippers/flip-flops as the floor was so dirty. They didn't clean it well, can't believe they spent more than 2 minutes each time, certainly less than they spent on their phones! That was a theme, so many staff were on their phones alot, even at the expense of serving guests. That said, some staff went over and above, big shout out to Theodore in the restaurant, nothing was too much trouble, thank you. Management is nowhere to be seen, and overall the experience wasn't as we expected, we will not be back. We felt the publicity shots on website promised something different in reality. That all said, the views, the location and the overall quietness meant we had a very relaxing week, despite some of the poor standards of the hotel. Reading many reviews, there is a theme, so don't feel my comments are unique

From the moment I arrived, I am blown away by the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Every member of the team is ensuring that my stay is comfortable. Really appreciate it! One of the standout features of this resort (worth mentioning) is the dining experience. The variety and quality of food offered is top-notch. As a Hilton Diamond i was upgraded to Sea view room with shared pool. Room is cozy and well maintained. So making a long story short Domes Aulūs Elounda Resort is the perfect destination for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.

We are currently staying at the MITSIS Summer Palace, having booked a suite — the highest room category available „Sea View Suite with private pool“. The suite itself is beautiful and corresponds exactly to the photos and description. Unfortunately, almost every other aspect of the stay has been disappointing.
It is important to note that this hotel is part of a much larger resort complex that can accommodate 4,000–5,000 guests when at full capacity. Although MITSIS Summer is marketed as the more exclusive, higher-end section of the resort, it is evident that catering to a true luxury experience is not their primary focus.
Dining options consist of a buffet restaurant and three à la carte restaurants. The buffet is acceptable but rather standard — certainly not the level of culinary experience one would expect when booking a suite. A strict policy limits guests to one à la carte reservation per restaurant per week, which we were able to bypass somewhat due to the low occupancy early in the season. However, under normal conditions, this policy would be highly restrictive and disappointing.
Service quality is extremely inconsistent. Some staff members are friendly and professional, while others struggle even with basic tasks like correctly taking and executing orders, despite the small, straightforward menus. Furthermore, it is common for multiple dishes to be unavailable. The food quality varies greatly between restaurants, and the drinks offered are quite average, far from what one would expect at a hotel advertising a higher standard.
Minibar and room service are only partially reliable. We have had to contact reception daily to request services that should be provided automatically. Although staff members are polite and acknowledge our complaints, there is no real sense of urgency. Responses are typically limited to phrases like “we are really sorry” or “we will check,” but without actual follow-up, effective action, or visible improvement.
The most severe problem is the repeated failure of the water supply. Every single day so far, there have been periods when showering or even using the toilet was not possible. I will be posting a video showing that no water comes from the shower, despite the tap being fully open — an issue that fundamentally compromises the comfort and quality of any hotel stay.
In conclusion, while the suite itself meets expectations, the overall experience falls significantly short of what was promised. Based on our experience, the price-performance ratio is not acceptable, and we cannot currently recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a genuinely high-end stay.

Review of our stay at the Mitsis Summer Palace
We stayed for 9 days at the Mitsis Summer Palace, and overall, our experience was very pleasant. We had booked a room with a sea view and a private pool, as requested, and it fully met our expectations. The unobstructed view was simply magnificent. The room service was impeccable, with thorough cleaning, a constant supply of beach towels, and a well-stocked mini-bar. We have no complaints about these aspects, which greatly contributed to our comfort.
Regarding the restaurants, we appreciated the variety of options, but it is undeniable that an improvement in the quality of the dishes could elevate the overall experience. At the Med Restaurant, in particular, we noticed that the main courses sometimes arrived too quickly, while we were still enjoying our starters. This lack of timing slightly marred the experience, although the service remained courteous and professional.
As for the buffet, we found it a bit lacking in variety. However, it’s worth mentioning the exceptional quality of the gyros, which were one of the highlights of our stay. One drawback, though: we occasionally noticed that some glasses were still dirty, which is something that should be addressed in an establishment of this level.
The hotel has enormous potential, especially with the ongoing renovations, which promise to make it an even more remarkable place. However, it would be a shame to offer such an idyllic setting without ensuring that the service matches the standard. Certain details require special attention, as shown by an incident on our last day at the beach. I went to the bar 10 minutes before closing to get one last beer, but the server informed me that he could not serve it due to a lack of clean glasses. This is simply unacceptable, especially when it is clearly stated that the bar closes at 6:00 PM. This kind of minor inconvenience should not occur in a hotel of this category.
The hotel still has a few adjustments to make to live up to its exceptional setting. We believe that with a bit more attention to detail, it could truly reach another level.
Despite these few remarks, our experience remains very positive, especially with an 8-month-old baby. The staff was smiling and attentive, and we made some lovely acquaintances, particularly with Junior, whose kindness and warmth brightened our days. We would also like to thank the team at the Dusk Restaurant, especially the bartender, for her warm welcome every evening, as well as Lamine, who made numerous trips to help us with our journeys between our room and the reception.
In conclusion, we thank the Mitsis Summer Palace for these wonderful 9 days. We are convinced that with a few additional efforts, this hotel can reach excellence.

But what really made the experience for us was the dedication and attentiveness of the team. The buffet was so well run, chefs were out front constantly walking around and checking the buffet to make it presentable or restock it with fresh items. Waiters were doing the same. It was such an overwhelming level of care and attention which really made the experience for us. The chefs were friendly and guest focused, I asked them loads of questions and they were happy to help. The waiters and managers were on the ball ensuring the standards were up to scratch. Daily debriefs were done and everyone carried around note books to make notes. I’ve never seen this level to care before.
Maria by the pool was amazing! She was so friendly and welcoming, her recommendations were on point and her tequila sunrises even better! She was so attentive and had learnt our drinks order quickly and would come over regularly to ask! She made our stay!

Domes Zeen Chania is an absolute paradise! The location is breathtaking, right on the water, offering stunning views that left us in awe. Our room, closest to the water with no obstructions, was simply gorgeous and felt like a private oasis. The staff, especially Marialena, Natalie, and Theodore, provided exceptional care, attending to every detail with warmth and professionalism. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a fantastic selection of Greek options that we loved. The outdoor gym was a dream, perfectly blending fitness with the stunning surroundings. We adored the beautiful walk along the coastline to the Old Harbor, a highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to return to this incredible hotel!

We recently stayed at Domes Zeen Chania and had an absolutely fantastic stay, with our 10 month old baby. The service provided by the Operations Manager Sophia, Christos at the concierge and every other staff member, including the hotel manager who provided us with some fantastic site seeing recommendations, was just incredible. We could not recommend this hotel more highly.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom family villa and it was the perfect space. The 2nd bedroom sat at the back of the room so the baby stayed in there, further away from the view and pool where we spent most of our time. The hotel amenities were great, including the outdoor (but covered) gym, the pool, the restaurant and the lounge that we had access to.
To really emphasise the incredible service provided by Sophia, the hotel operations manager, really made the trip for us. She went above and beyond to us ensure we had a smooth first holiday with our baby, and we appreciated it so much!

Family of vegetarians and mobility challenges had an excellent stay: They immediately and consistently treat you with friendly courtesy that persists throughout the stay. The accommodations are accessed via golf carts which are frequent enough and easily available. My wife is mobility challenged and this place has ramps essentially everywhere. The beach is modest but adequate with cabanas, seating, and dedicated bar. The walk to the beach is negligible. The breakfast buffet was quite good quality and variety but again it is the consistently courteous service that bears repeating. The restaurant manager was proactively seeking out ways to make us comfortable. The food is quite good with a mix of local and modified options. Even though i eat everything, my family is vegetarian and they were quite happy with the options. Their menu is quite explicit about ingredients! My children absolutely loved the private pool which is why i felt comfortable giving the rooms 5 stars (otherwise i would have said 4 stars as the room was on the small side compared with other hotels) and it was well air conditioned and well maintained each time we returned. We had an excellent experience here.

We spent 5 days at this resort and loved every minute. Our two bedroom family villa was lovely, modern, with fabulous views of the sea. The half board package was outstanding as the breakfasts were amazing, both the buffet and a la cart. We could then decide whether our second meal was lunch or dinner which was great as we enjoyed going into town for dinner. The culinary experience at the resort was truly superb. Every meal was delightful.
It was an easy 25 minute walk to town with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants and a short taxi ride back at the end of the evening. Our sons 19, 20, 26 all had a great time, enjoyed all the amenities including the outdoor gym and the night life in town.
The spa treatment (massage) was outstanding… Equally important to the luxury of this property was the fact that the entire staff went out of their way to make this an incredible stay for our family. We stayed in several places in Greece and bar none the staff at Dome Zeen was second to none.

We had nice vacation at Crete Maris. There are lots of pools and even a heated outdoor pool. Lots of nice restaurants where the food is good and high quality. Specially the deserts are top notch.

There are so many great things to say about the Creta Maris resort and we can't wait to visit again! We were pleasantly surprised (and truly delighted!) by how well the hotel caters for vegetarians and vegans and also those on a gluten-free diet. Everything in the buffet at each restaurant is so clearly labelled. We were impressed with not only the variety of delicious cuisine on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but also the very high quality of what was offered, much of it organic and sustainably produced. Absolutely top marks for this - we've never come across a resort where we've felt so welcome as vegetarians.
The resort is extremely well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and has so many activities for both adults and children. Creta Maris is absolutely perfect for families, with a superb kids club on offer. What stands out however is the huge passion they have in delighting its guests at every opportunity. From the moment we arrived to when we departed, we were amazed by how well we were looked after. A special thanks to Alexandra in Guest Relations, Manolis at the Concierge, and Nektaria at the Reception, who really went the extra-mile to make us feel very welcome.
We learnt that the resort is family-owned, and I believe this makes a huge difference to their approach and ethos.
An outstanding experience at Creta Maris and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

I went with my Wife last year to the creta maris and I couldn't have been happier. The staff,food and resort were great and the people were so warm and inviting. It was like paradise on earth. Me and my friends were staying at the Ramira and visited blue domes. The food was so good and service was great! The drinks were all so good too! Clubzone is a go to for cocktails the staff are wonderful and friendly and Dimitri is so lovely. Prices are good for their value of the drinks

I recently stayed at Blue Domes on the island of Kos, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is beautiful and very well-maintained. One of the highlights was the variety of dining options—there were over seven different restaurants, including two Greek restaurants, one Italian, one South American, and one Mexican. Each one offered something special and delicious, making every meal feel like a new experience.
There were also two beach bars that provided the perfect place to relax with a drink while enjoying the sea view. A special mention goes to the “sweet corner,” which had ice cream and waffles—perfect for a midday treat or an after-dinner indulgence. The person working there was extremely nice and always greeted us with a warm smile, making the experience even more enjoyable.
What made the entire stay truly memorable was the staff. Everyone I encountered was incredibly kind and welcoming, not just to me but to all the guests. Their hospitality really stood out and created a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout the hotel.
I would definitely recommend Blue Domes to anyone visiting Kos. It’s a perfect combination of comfort, great food, and genuine services.

One of the highlights for me was being able to watch the sunset each night—it was just amazing, and worth staying at the hotel for that alone.
The buffet was great, with plenty of variety and something different each day, which kept things fresh and enjoyable throughout our stay.
The only small downside was the lack of evening entertainment. I would have enjoyed something a bit more lively at night, but I completely understand that this isn’t the focus of the hotel. Just something to consider if you're after a more upbeat nightlife.
As part of our package, we were able to dine at each of the à la carte restaurants. All served fantastic food, but the standouts for me were The White and Tavernaki. We also did the Agreco Farm tour and dinner, which was included in our stay (though we paid for our own taxi—well worth it! Alternatively, you can purchase return bus tickets from reception). This experience is a must. The tour, which lasts about 30–40 minutes, includes a walk around the farm—complete with animals—and ends with a breathtaking meal overlooking the hills of Crete and the distant sea. The views were absolutely stunning.
The dinner includes multiple courses—plenty of food! Many guests (us included) were struggling to finish everything, but the dishes were delicious and the service outstanding. There’s also a charming little shop where you can purchase authentic Cretan olive oil, honey, and natural skincare products—such lovely touches.
I was genuinely sad to leave after just one week, but I felt like it was enough time to fully enjoy the serene setting, food, and drinks. We stayed in a swim-up room, which was gorgeous, although the pool was a bit too cold to use much.
We’ll absolutely be returning—this hotel is truly something special!

Leaving a bad feedback would not be fair. What was really bad was internet. If you travel to work and don’t have internet on the phone you will be really disappointed and will not be able to work at all. They need to sort it out because everything else is good to perfect. They also have limitations with booking of some restaurants, but this is not a big deal especially if you travel on business.

The property was the first Autograph Collection resort/hotel I've stayed at. I went in with no expectations and was blown away.
From the start, the pre check-in communication was good (answered a few of my questions).
The property itself has amazing amenties like:
2 pools (party with a bar and sunchairs or quiet zone with sunchairs).
Decent gym with a rower, weight machines, and free weights. They have an indoor and outdoor setup. (Outdoor is smaller).
The property is beachfront with sunchairs and umbrellas. The staff stock the beach towels each morning.
The spa has an indoor hydrotherapy circuit (2 benches with jets in the pool). Also, a steam and sauna room.
The on-site restaurant was amazing delicious breakfast and dinner selections.
The room I chose had a private plunge pool with bathtub. The whole decor and ambiance of the room was immaculate.
The HVAC system was having issues but the staff always took care of the issue while I was away.
The staff Zoi, Eno, Margarita, Alexis, Elpida, Konstantina, Nikos, and Argyris all took care of me, as well as Evangelos the GM took time out of his busy day to chat with me. I will return!

This is our third visit to a Domes resort. All visits have been in luxurious facilities, in private areas. Which is what we wanted in our visits. On arrival we were greeted very well, with a nice drink and tour, which was welcoming and informative.
Our stay here was for our “Mini-moon” a short stay away after we got married, which we were accommodated for, had some lovely welcoming gifts and some chocolates, flowers and love heart roses on the bed. The room itself was beautiful and was a fantastic room, very pleasing on the eyes and a great view. However, the room we stayed in didn’t get a great deal of sunlight all day due to the positioning, which was a slight downside, had you stayed in the same room on the opposite end of the pool, it would have had sunlight in the afternoon through until sunset.
The restaurant you have to reserve a table for the evening, which we wasn’t aware of on the first night, but as soon as we were made aware it was no problem. The food was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful through the service and accommodating for vegans and vegetarians.
The sun loungers by the pools were also affected by the positioning of the hotel as the hotel structure blocked some of the sunlight, not too bad if you like the shade.
All in all was a lovely visit for us, it was a nice break from reality, great architecture and some lovely views.
Would recommend to stay at this hotel, but would recommend short duration stays and in the hotter months to accommodate the sunlight etc.

Late review but my husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in October. It was beyond amazing. Great staff and great facilities. Our days consisted of the breakfast brunch (sometimes with a mimosa) followed by a gym workout (pretty good facilities which people rarely use) followed by a day at the beach ordering white wine and Greek salad. In the evening we would step out to Chania for dinner, you can either take a quick 20 min bus or order a taxis. Regarding the food, the breakfast was exceptional with a different buffet menu every single day. You can also order omelets and any coffee or juice. The lunch menu was fairly small but perfect enough for us. Also, the streets are not unsafe at all, we felt perfectly safe walking to the grocery store or nearby restaurants. There are a lot of cats (not at the resort but nearby) , we ended up being guilted by their cuteness into buying cat food everyday but it made our experience that much better. We definitely will be back! Also highly recommend swimming in the ocean or doing a boat trip if the weather is in your favor!

When we had issues with our hot water, the staff was quick to address the issue. We want to thank Abel Sorreno for making our stay extra special. We got a chance to stay in three different rooms from the upbeat retreat pool to the absolute haven suite — which was literally heaven on earth! We can’t wait to come back! We stayed at Domes of Elounda for the second time (September 23/24). Usually I never visit a place twice. But we really loved last years experience. And this year was no different. The hotel staff is super sweet and caring. Although it’s quite busy and almost the end of the season staff was always friendly.
As a long term Marriott Bonvoy memberI was lucky enough to receive a super nice villa upgrade. This was of course not expected, but if you ask nicely and there is availability the hotel guest service team will do everything to help you out.
This year we again booked a couple massage. This was a perfect experience once again.
I also liked that you now can have breakfast at Blend as well and with the half board option you can have dinner at the CORE outside area as well.
The only recommendation I have and this goes for all hotels. I drink around 3 liters of water a day. I feel like that 0,5 liters complimentary water is a bit too less, especially if you look at the prices of the rooms. However, as a Marriott Platinum or Titanium or guest with a certain room category you have access to Haute Living where you can get food and drinks all day (very nice!).
But overall awesome experience and I can recommend domes of elounda.

I stayed at Domes of Elounda last July, and it was truly one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. The resort is absolutely stunning, perfectly located with breathtaking views over the island of Spinalonga.
My suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a sense of luxury and comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive — always smiling and ready to assist with anything I needed, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
The private beach was pristine, with crystal-clear waters and a peaceful atmosphere that felt exclusive and relaxing. The breakfast and dinner options were exceptional — a wide variety of delicious dishes, including fresh local specialties.

The staff are friendly, and the food included in the half-board option is delicious. The beach restaurant is fantastic for lunch, with great food and a superb atmosphere. Nikos form the beach is kind, funny, helpful and always in a good mood. Both the pool and the beach are beautiful. The golf carts that transport guests around the property arrive quickly and are very convenient.
Additionally, this hotel is very child-friendly, making it a perfect destination for families.
Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and look forward to our next visit.

I had an absolutely perfect stay at Domes of Elounda. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering all the amenities I could possibly need. The hotel’s location is ideal, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Simply outstanding. We did not expect to have such a good time. Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Hype
Daios Cove is undeniably a beautiful hotel with stunning views and elegant design, but unfortunately, the service and management fall far below 5-star standards—closer to 3-star, if I’m being honest.
The room was average, certainly not what you’d expect from a luxury resort. But the real issue was the lack of air conditioning. I’ve stayed in countless hotels worldwide and have never experienced a 5-star property without functioning AC. When I reported the issue, a technician was sent—followed by a man who claimed to be the manager (bald, wearing glasses), but his handling of the situation was far from professional. After failing to fix the issue, he changed the story, saying AC isn’t available during this period, which is simply not acceptable and feels dishonest. He promised to send a fan, which only arrived on the last day of our stay—too late to make any difference.
The Ocean Restaurant was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. Expensive, tiny portions, and tasteless food. Definitely not fine dining. The buffet, on the other hand, was just okay—nothing to write home about.
Service overall was poor. On the beach, only one person was working the entire area, meaning long waits just to get a drink or place an order. The beach also wasn’t peaceful—kids were running around all over the small space, and this was in April, not even peak season.
Despite all of this, not a single apology or offer of compensation was made—not even a symbolic discount on any of the extras we spent on (spa, drinks, etc.), which just added insult to injury.
The only highlight of our stay was Michel, the diving instructor, who was kind, professional, and passionate about his work. He stood out in a sea of mediocre service.
In summary: Yes, it’s a beautiful property, but if you expect true 5-star service, professionalism, and comfort, you’ll likely be disappointed. We will not return, and we do not recommend it to anyone expecting a luxury experience.
Michelin Guide
A true five-star hotel with nothing to complain about, except for its remote location. Many hotels claim to be five-star but barely reach four at their peak. This one truly delivers luxury, with exceptional rooms, outstanding staff, and food and drinks that exceed expectations.
The only drawback is the location. The nearest large town is about a 30-minute drive, and having a car is essential since there is nothing nearby. For a relaxing, stress-free vacation, this might be the perfect choice. The beach is beautiful, the dining options are excellent, and everything within the hotel meets the highest standards.
Those who prefer walking to a bar or taverna may find this inconvenient. Even with the remote setting, which was not an issue in my case, everything else was flawless.

Everything about our stay at Oceania was perfect, we went there for a 10 days stay and when it was time to leave we were sad because our stay has ended. The room was big and very clean (hats off to the cleaning ladies) and the mini fridge was refilled daily. The food was amazing (especially the triple fried potatoes in Provence) and the staff very well trained and friendly. We also got an upgrade to a superior room with a sea view thanks to the manager. Thanks for making our stay perfect, we’re gonna come again this year!

Outstanding Resort, friendly kind staff who are all very helpful. Amazing food in all restaurants we got to visit. Only drawback was we didn't know we could book restaurants and Tesla via the APP before we checked in. Had to speak with customer services who got us into restaurants that would suit my family as all where booked due to the hotel been at "full capacity" even though most the restaurants had lots of empty seats. Beach and Pools all amazing.
Flimsy Octopus
Ikos dassia is as close as I could ever imagine to the perfect holiday. I can honestly say that every moment of my holiday was both wonderful and memorable.
The food was top class. Every meal was exceptional, room service is great and pool/beachside food was brilliant.
The rooms were incredible. House keeping came round twice a day and left the room immaculate every single time. We stayed in both the hotel and then got upgraded to a junior suite with a pool halfway through the stay which was so appreciated. Both rooms were more than comfortable and spacious.
The drinks were great, both ordered through the app and direct with the staff who come round very frequently to take your order.
The general facilities at the hotel are very good. Gardens are kept perfect, pool are clean and pleasant. Lounger areas are all perfect.
Finally, the thing that makes Ikos a different level is the staff. I have never experienced such a consistent level of unbelievable service, dedication, friendliness and attentiveness. The staff can genuinely not do enough for you across every single department and I just cannot express how good they are. If nothing else, the staff have guaranteed that we will be back again and again.
Thank you so much to everyone for making our stay so unforgettable. We will be back and I cannot wait.

Great food and plenty of eating spots to choose from. The service is really good as well, everyone is super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would happily eat at any one of the on-site restaurants multiple times, favourite dish was probably slow cooked lamb but there so many nice dishes to enjoy. One of the most beautiful hotels in Greece — with the worst service we’ve experienced.
The property and setting are absolutely stunning. Truly one of the most beautiful hotels in Greece, no doubt about that. But unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
The service felt like it belonged in a one-star resort. Every single request we made was answered with a firm no. We were traveling as a big group of friends, and not once were we allowed to dine together — not even at separate tables in the same restaurant. Instead, they split our reservations into three different restaurants at three different times. It felt like no effort was made to accommodate us.
Even more shocking — the kids weren’t allowed in the kids’ club. Apparently, it was full or had strange rules, but no one gave a clear explanation.
The hotel may look five-star, but the management and service are stuck at one. Hugely disappointing. We won’t be coming back.

We had a great week overall. The hotel is well designed, the rooms are a good size and the cocktails (although sometimes variable in quality) on the whole were of a good standard. Food on the whole was a good standard but you do need to book at the restaurants for dinner as they get booked out! The staff were super helpful and the manager even came round to ask if there was anything additional they could do.
It is very family friendly so beware if you are looking for a romantic couples getaway - this may not be the place for you!
Special shout out to Jenny by the pool who gave us outstanding service and always had the biggest smile on her face.
If I was to give some bits of feedback it would be as follows:
- our air conditioner was leaking and we asked if this could be looked at but no one came to check it out and the next day our toddler slipped twice on the water on the floor: the service was poor in this regard and slow and unresponsive;
- our room had a bad smell one day and we asked if someone would be able to come up and tell us if we were right or tell us if they knew what it was; no one came that day and by the next day it had gone. We spoke to reception and they said there was indeed a problem with the drains but we gave our feedback then and there - why did no one come up to our room when we were told someone would be with us shortly. It would be helpful to be given a timeframe for when this would be possible as we do not mind when it will happen but just don’t leave us waiting indefinitely;
- the ice cream was not up to standard of a 5 star resort: please sort this out!! The pistachio and vanilla taste cheaply made and artificial. This was disappointing. To not have sorbets readily available either was disappointing (you couldn’t get this at the buffet or at the ice cream shop) and would need a reservation at one of the restaurants to get a sorbet.
- a lot of the good wines were out of stock or staff were not trained in how to speak to guests about the wines. It was great when we managed to speak to a member of staff who did know about wines.
Overall we had a relaxing and lovely time away. Loved how kid friendly and accessible / easy to get around it was and would probably come back but please note these points above.

UPDATE #2: Anastasia informed me that not only was the room that I had been quoted not part of the Deluxe collection as I said I wanted but it was also on an upper floor that had no elevator –the whole reason I called rather than booking online was that I needed to ensure whatever accomodations I booked met the mobility needs of one of the travelers (who is only able to walk short distances & no stairs). So my options were to take an accomidation that did not at all meet the needs of what I had asked for or take a ground level deluxe room that didn't have a sea view (but had a private pool, there was an option for a deluxe no-sea view no-pool but we didn't want to make that concession) with a 10% discount (still almost 25% higher than what was initially quoted). I spoke to the director and she said we could at least get a lower level non-deluxe suite but beyond the 10% discount on deluxe there's nothing more they would offer. If it wasn't for the fact my tickets were already booked and theirs a fee to cancel I'd probably be traveling elsewhere but this is where were at. I'm now paying more what I initially allotted on accomodations for this deluxe suite that I probably would have otherwise ruled out as out of our price range. Hopefully the blow my socks away with the accomidations when we actually get there, and get rid of the sour taste this experience has level. I'll leave rating as is for now, but hope to raise it once we actually arrive.
UPDATE: I've now spoken to the manager Anastasia and am waiting to hear back if we can come to a resolution. She was quite pleasant & seemed to want to be helpful, I understand when working over the phone especially when there's a potential language barrier, mistakes may happen. I'll happily update my review again to a positive one if and when a positive resolution is reached.

I'm months away from my arrival date, but there's already problems. I went through the booking process via the reservation phone number. I spoke to an agent and was sold heavily on the benefits of the Deluxe package, then she asked if I wanted to look just at deluxe suites or standard rooms. I told her Deluxe, after a bit more back and forth I reserved the room sent to me. Problem is the pricing and quote she sent my way no where noted it was a deluxe suite. Something didn't sit right so I did a bit more digging on their website and notice I all of the "Deluxe Collection" suites have deluxe in the room title. So I call back and inquire just to make sure that's what I'm getting: I'm told no and there's not really anything they can do. I asked to speak to a manager, but there's not one currently on duty I have to call back later. So I have to call back in a few hours to try and speak to a manager (never mind that its already quite late in my local timezone and I stayed up to call when they were open).
Hopefully we can come to a resolution, and if we can I'll update my review accordingly, but not really a great foot to start off on for my family vacation.

Our family stayed at Ikos in June 2024, and overall, it was a good experience. Having heard a lot about the Ikos brand, we were eager to see if the reputation lived up to the hype.
As an all-inclusive resort, it’s ideal for families with pre-schoolers. We stayed outside of school holidays, and the resort was hoatching with young children. If you’re looking for a romantic couples’ getaway, this might not be the best choice.
The Positives
First and foremost, the resort itself is well presented, and the staff were truly exceptional—some of the most attentive service we’ve experienced. The kids' splash pool was a huge hit with our four-year-old, and all pool areas were spotless and well-maintained.
Key Highlights:
• White Party on the Beach – Absolutely amazing! A DJ, a live saxophonist, and a fantastic atmosphere. It’s a shame there aren’t more beachside evening events like this throughout the week.
• Mermaid Swimming Academy – A magical experience for our daughter, and a special shout out to Effie, who was fantastic.
• WhatsApp Concierge Service – A seamless and convenient way to communicate with the team.
• Adult Tennis Session – Well-organised and enjoyable, though playing in 36-degree heat was a challenge!
The Niggles
• Accommodation – We booked a panoramic sea-view room, which was spacious but let down by a tired bathroom with mouldy stains in the shower basin. Many balconies, including ours, had bird nests. Waking up to droppings on the floor (and over our belongings) wasn’t pleasant. Small birds darting in and out also made it difficult to relax outside. We understand the rooms are set for renovation for the 2025 season.
• Food & Drink – Generally very good, with the buffet restaurant being the best all-inclusive buffet we’ve experienced. However, more needs to be done to mitigate flies. We tried three à la carte restaurants; while beautifully presented, some dishes were surprisingly bland. Service could be inconsistent — on two separate occasions, our mains arrived before our starters had been cleared. Given the Michelin-star curation in their marketing, we expected more attention to detail.
• Evening Entertainment – This was a weak spot. Apart from the White Party, there was only three questionable evening shows, with nothing at all for kids over the weekend. A resort of this calibre should offer more engaging options in the evenings.
• Location – We knew this going in, but there’s nothing much to do within the hotel vicinity, unless of course, you hire a car.
Final Thoughts
We had a good holiday, but for the price, I’m not completely convinced. It’s a good resort for families with young children, but I’d question its appeal for slightly older kids (5/6+), as there’s little in the way of water slides, pool games, kids’ discos, or high-quality evening entertainment.

The room we stayed in was luxurious which was room 215, equipped with all the high-end amenities you would expect from a top-tier resort.
Porto Sani is a perfect destination for families. We loved that everything was within walking distance, including the beautiful marina and pristine beach. The resort's transfer buggy service was a fantastic convenience, making it easy to explore every corner of the property with minimal effort.
The buffet offered a great variety of dishes, maintaining high standards throughout. Our 7-year-old enjoyed the selections, and we found it to be ideal for couples as well, thanks to the spacious layout that allowed for privacy even during the busy high season.
A special shout-out to Vlad from Sani Beach. We can't wait to return to Porto Sani, this little slice of paradise some point in the future!

Well managed, outstanding 5 star resort for families. Plenty of space, great facilities and services. Sani Club, Beach, Porto and Dunes share some of the facilities. The dine around offer works well and guarantees a good variety of culinary experiences. Our concierge Alexis and the whole team were very customer oriented and went above and beyond to ensure the best possible stay. The app facilitates planning and booking of pilates, yoga, climbing, sparta, and all other trainings and experiences. Transportation within the resort also works very well with the golf cars. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Porto Sani was our first trip abroad with our 6 month old and staying at this particular resort made it so much easier! The whole resort is superb for children and the staff are excellent. The transfer from the airport included a car seat, we had a cot, changing mat and steriliser provided in our room. The restaurants were excellent and made weaning a lot easier. Big thank you to Albi and Elsa in the Artemis restaurant and Sofia at Elia for their excellent customer service. Highly recommend and we will be back next year!

We stayed at Ikos Aria and while many aspects were beautiful — the setting, facilities, and generally kind and respectful staff — we experienced a repeated issue that left a sour note. On the first two days, two members of staff touched our daughter’s hair, out of curiosity or admiration we felt it was inappropriate. We let management know and staff were reminded. The next night a member of management touched our daughter’s hair again. Staff members touched our baby’s Afro-textured hair without permission. While they were apologetic when corrected, this repeated invasion of her personal space made us feel uncomfortable and even hesitant to leave her in the crèche where we can’t correct people’s behaviour.
We raised our concerns with management and were offered a massage, deluxe area access, and beautifully thoughtful touches including special menus and warm greetings from the head chef — all kindly arranged by Karina. These gestures were appreciated, but what we truly hope to see is proper staff training around cultural sensitivity and personal boundaries. Afro hair is not to be touched without consent.
Ikos Aria offers many five-star features, but this repeated issue took away from what should have been a completely relaxing and respectful experience.

The hotel itself is lovely, very clean and the gardens are immaculate. We stayed deluxe and it was never an issue to get a sun bed.
The staff go out their way to help you - one evening our waiter went to a different restaurant just to get a bottle of the wine I liked.
Booking the Tesla was really easy. We also took the pedlo out to the island which was a hit with the kids.
Didn't love so much:
We booked a pool view room with private garden. What we got was a pool view room but only if you walked right to the end of the garden and looked to the left. Appreciate it's a minor point - we just expected to be able to see the pool from the room.
Restaurants were hit and miss. Some of the evening meals were fabulous, others were quite disappointing. We also found the buffet to be akin to any other all inclusive, rather than a step up.
The sunset cruise. Not sure why they call it 'sunset' as you can't see the sun - it's on the other side of the mountain! It was also very windy and overcrowded. We did laugh though.
When leaving, we didn't get our deluxe gift. We also noted that when we arrived, the children's welcome pack wasn't in the room. Just felt like a lack of attention to detail.
Considering what we paid, I'm not sure we would return.

Everything has been outstanding. Staff are extremely friendly & accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The word NO doesn't exist in their vocabulary. The live shows are very entertaining. Would like to say a special thank you to Anthony the reception manager, Thomas in guest relations, Georgia who arranged our late check out and Florin the waiter in the adult pool area. They are the epitome of professionalism and customer service.

Ikos Aria offers a flawless experience. Ikos Resorts are the best 5-star hotel chain we've ever encountered. We've visited Ikos Olivia multiple times, and unlike other 5-star resorts, Ikos never disappoints. Other resorts could learn a lot from the owners of Ikos. From the moment you arrive, you're well taken care of. The staff is incredible, always smiling, and eager to assist. The hotel is impeccably clean and clearly well maintained. The food is high-quality, prepared by skilled chefs, making you feel truly pampered. This is a 10/10 experience, and we will definitely return. We've used almost all the facilities at this hotel, which is just a 20-minute drive from the airport. Thank you for making our holiday magical. 😊
They cater to gluten-free dietary requirements and tailor dishes accordingly. Inform the hotel and concierge service upon arrival, and they will personally address your specific dietary needs, ensuring all resort restaurants are aware. You don't need to select food from the buffet. I spoke with the kitchen manager to avoid cross-contamination since guests may mix utensils. By far, this is the best hotel for catering to dietary requirements.

This was our 4th Ikos resort we’ve stayed at and I’m sorry to say that we won’t be returning to this particular one. The food quality was really poor, meals arrived cold and the majority of meals were tasteless. Fruit juices arrived tasting like they’d been watered down at the pool area and they were warm and un- drinkable. After giving this feedback to the management they redeemed themselves with the food on the last night of our holiday, but overall highly disappointed with our stay here.
