Have just returned from a week in this hotel. It’s safe to say I was very sceptical on arrival after reading lots of mixed reviews. Yes, the hotel is dated and there are a lot of stairs / slopes, however, I feel this is just the norm in this area. The staff were all so friendly, the chef especially went above and beyond to ensure people had a good meal. The food was all cooked very well, and we didn’t go hungry at all! The views from this hotel are amazing, we booked a luxury bungalow with a mini pool and it was worth every penny. The beds are fine, albeit some of the pillows are very uncomfortable, but we did get a couple of softer ones on request so wasn’t too much of a problem. All in all we would return to this hotel.

Writing this waiting for my transfer from the hotel. This was a solo trip to get away from it all for some peace and quiet and I couldn't of picked a better place than Paleokastritsa, it is just beautiful. I had mixed anticipations about the hotel as had read the reviews beforehand, I've worked in the hotel industry all my life, I'm also a qualified chef, so I feel I can judge a place pretty well...... I'd give this hotel an overall rating of 7.5/10 which is pretty good, and a fair reflection of its pros and cons. I'm not too fussy, I just expect what I've paid for, and I think I got that. The rooms were decent, nice high ceilings, beds and towels changed on a daily basis, but bathroom very small. THE VIEW WAS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD, and this is their pot of gold. The food was of a basic standard, but the selection was great I found, bit like nans old cooking or old school coach party meals, the desserts were the winner, and of course you could help yourself to as much as you wanted and I did eat well, but near to 7 days you'll start seeing similar dishes. Watch out for the lamb, which looks like a stew but it's basically a stock pot and full of tiny bones. Overall I think they did the best they could on a strict budget. The service all round was very good, particularly the restaurant manager, the 2 guys who looked like brothers with dark hair and beards were particularly friendly. Receptionists were all quite nice as well and breakfast staff were attentive. The only downfall was the music from the bar. I'm by no means a party pooper but it was so loud on the first few nights, 1 night went on till 3am very loud, I must add I was in a room on the 1st floor quite near to the lobby so for others further down perhaps this wouldn't be an issue. After that it quietened down a notch, not sure if they had had a tip off by other guests who weren't happy, but with the entertainment going on and basically a residential bar that's open until approx 2am this is where trying to keep everyone happy will be hard. Hotel caters for all ages, there was plenty of young people there enjoying themselves, pool tables downstairs for 2 euros a play. Yes there are areas of the hotel which aren't as pleasant as some, it does need a bit of tlc but by no means as bad as some of the reviews have mentioned. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and just want to say thankyou, and hope to see you again next year!!! Steve

Rooms are a bit dated. More should be done by the staff regarding the noise by guests in corridors at night as the rooms are not soundproofed. Lots of guests complained about noise one night but nothing was done. Food options are good for meat eaters, but not a lot of choice for vegetarians unless you ask. Location is great and has stunning beaches nearby, and I would highly recommend hiring a boat to explore the area.

If you plan to travel most of the day, and not staying at the hotel for the whole vacation, and prefer staying in a non-fancy hotel, I recommend this place. I chose it because it costs much less than other hotels in the area, and it was much better than I expected. The hotel is in an excellent location. It’s right above La Grotta bar, 10 min driving from the famous beaches in Palaiokastritsa (rovinia, Porto timoni, liaoades) and 3 min walking from Akron beach (by taking the stairs next to the pool). The hotel is facing the beach, so it has a great view. It has 2 swimming pools (we didn’t try them). The hotel receptionists are nice and helpful, and there are 20 parking spots to parking your car on a space available basis. The room is nice, the cleaning is not high quality (the room service only makes the bed and cleans the floor, but doesn’t change the sheets or cleans the dust), it wasn’t a dealbreaker for us because we got to the room late at night and went out traveling early in the morning. In conclusion, I think that compared to the low cost- the return worths it.

Nice enough hotel, pleasant staff in the restaurant; very polite and attentive. We were lucky enough to have a ground floor room, and was close to the restaurant and reception. Smell of sewage is quite off-putting, but we dealt with it! Main thing I would like to point out is, when we asked where to hire a speedboat for the day, we were recommended Ninos boat hire. Worst thing about our whole holiday!! We were picked up in an absolute 'death-trap '. I've never heard a vehicle make such scary noises in my life. When we got there, we were given brief details of our boat ( no safety instructions, and not shown if or where a life jacket might be?) and off we went, totally oblivious to the fact, that we were basically being scammed for more fuel! The boat didn't have a working fuel gage, and when we broke down because of this, they sent out one of their lads to ' re-fuel ' us. We told him we were completely lost, and he promtly drove of and left us to it. Nice! When we finally managed to get back to Ninos, the chap was very aggressive, and we got charged another €130 or so for fuel. Can not even describe how p#*@ed off we were!! Needless to say, this has put us off ever going back to Corfu ( we had a hellish experience last time too) All in all though, nice enough, but would never go back. Ps , reception staff only seem to want to be nice to you when you're leaving, maybe for a good review?! Also it's a bloody long '5 minute walk to the beach!' Happy holidays!

We arrived very late in the night and was told at the reception the hotel had overbooked and we would have to stay in their neighbouring hotel for the night. I agreed to this as long as it was the same quality of the room I previously booked. It wasn't, and there was a lot of mosquitos and spiders in the room. I immediately said I wanted somewhere else to stay, as this was unacceptable. At first I was told this was not possible as there was nothing else, and that there was a mosquito problem everywhere. After still refusing to stay there, the reception staff member went to speak to someone and then agreed to move us somewhere else. After plodding up and down lots of stairs with a heavy suitcase and hand luggage we arrived at the room which smelt of sewage. We agreed to stay here for the night as it was late and seemed like there wasn't any other options anyway. In the morning we were pestered by the cleaners to leave the room as they had someone else arriving. We left the room and was directed to our new room. The room was basic and also had the same sewage smell, mostly coming from the toilet area. Food and drinks were average, and staff were overall nice. Would definitely not stay here again however.

Not like 4 start hotel more like 3 , the same food all day everyday not big choose too , no snacks between meals only sandwiches -dray too . Rooms was cleaned but towels not change at all bad smell off sewage around hotel and inside room , only good think I do remember is nice bar tender and lady in reception . Location is good to close to very long sandy beach .

We stayed for a week in July after having our original hotel double book us, we were offered a stay at Saint George Palace! On arrival we were greeted very warmly by Donny at reception who gave us an arrival drink and also sandwich - nice touch! Our room was lovely - it was basic but had everything we needed and was cleaned everyday - we were lucky to get the top floor corner room so had an undisturbed view of the beach (lovely - and just a 5 minute walk away!) The hotel was very friendly and cleaners were always around. The bartender Nikos is an absolute credit to the hotel and made our stay everyday - he was always friendly and helpful! Pool area is nice and you can always get a sunbed with options for sun and shade and there is table tennis and pool also available. As the hotel is up a slight hill too and the pool within the ''garden'' area - it is nice and private, you cant see in unless your a hotel resident. The entertainment is good and the area has a nice cocktail bar locally (Butterfly) if you do want more drinks than what the hotel can offer and Donny's family restaurant (Noemie) literally a 2 minute walk away is also work a visit too - traditional Greek with Greek dancing and plate smashing. The hotel food was always fresh - there could maybe have been a wider variety some days and we missed the BBQ days but always enjoyed lunch more than the dinner, though overall was fine. They also come around with fruit during the day by the pool which is nice. We will likely return - thank you Donny and Nikos! Jake and Lauren.

We came to stay at the start of July and we had a lovely time. The waiters were friendly as well as the bar staff. Flavjo especially was so friendly and professional and we looked forward to seeing him in the evenings!! The entertainment and atmosphere were great as were the other members of staff including Ellison. The food was pretty good and the pool next to our room was lovely (rectangular one) although there was a bit of a lack of sun loungers, a lot of people seemed save them and didn’t come back for hours on end!! This was not the end of the world though as the beach is a 10 minute walk away which is great and has lots of food options and boat hires etc. I would highly recommend this hotel to families and couples.

My expectations were already low and I have to say nothing was exceptionally "bad", but when something is sold as 4 star all inclusive then there will be certain expectations and these expectations were not met. It was all very lacking and just about everything needed maintenance. I'd say if you do plan to go here, don't go for longer than 2 or 3 nights. The staff are brilliant. Otto deserves a raise and the hotel management %100 need to provide toilet facilities at the pool areas for employees and hotel guests. We enjoyed our time and the location is beautiful but we wouldn't come back here or recommend this to anyone else.

Well where to start with this one, I’ll give it some credit the views and surroundings are absolutely stunning but that’s about where the positives end I’m afraid. We went for a week long all inclusive at this hotel, the first 2 days were lovely getting to grips with things as it was our first time away as a couple, then it turned, on the 2nd night I started to become really sick with v/d, then came all the other symptoms that are followed with food poisoning. During the night I had been sick on the sheets as I wasn’t able to reach the toilet in time, when we eventually woke up(after a long and sleepless night) my partner went to reception to report the fact that I suspected I had caught food poisoning and to make the staff aware, she was met with a sharp response of impossible could not happen here, to which she left it and continued to ask for some fresh sheets given what had happened to be told that they would send some straight up before being ushered out,6 hours later the maids turned up not having a clue we needed fresh sheets so they then had to go back and get them. After spending 3 days with these symptoms I was finally well enough to get myself to reception hoping to speak with a doctor, I was told that it’s not food poisoning and just a viral bug( if you read the reviews over the past year the amount of people that report this and are told that it’s this virus is a joke must be a year long virus then), I was told it’s only 24hr symptoms, I advised the staff that I had been extremely unwell for 3 days now not 24hrs and was told to just drink water, I asked to see a doctor again and was told they could only take me to a pharmacy, which I went to explaining my symptoms and they give me medication(paid for out of my own pocket) for food poisoning which has since worked wonders on how I was feeling. Onto the food, the food is awful, absolutely freezing cold, I pulled multiple chicken dishes open over the course of the week all of it was pink, undercooked food, reheated rice the list goes on, it’s always the same food in the restaurant for dinner and tea but I think it’s all just reheated from each serving,They tell you to eat at the sea food restaurant on the beach but it’s not part of your all inclusive but I wouldn’t eat here when it’s cooked out of the same kitchen all off this stuff is!!. The staff that replenishes the food carry the silver metal dishes with no protection which again proves the food is freezing upon serving, at one point we had seen food sitting out an hour before dinner time. There is no food hygiene rating or anything near the restaurant and good luck if you have any allergies or intolerances as there was not one food label the entire holiday so whatever you were eating was a guess. We started to eat out a some local restaurants because of how bad the place was and just how ill I’d been I couldn’t take anything else from that hotel, my partner doesn’t eat meat and never became ill once which also suggests it’s the freezing cold meat that they’re serving. We spoke to quite a few fellow brits who had also been just a sick as me one being a chef in the uk and knew straight away people were going to get food poisoning from this place. Don’t let them tell you it’s a virus, most have had food poisoning at some point before and know what it feels like and this was certainly it. The local restaurants were great some lovely food but it’s a long walk up steep hills to get there so not great if you have mobility issues. I would strongly suggest anyone to read the reviews fully before selecting this place, we had almost changed hotels but decided to stick it out, how we wished we had changed almost a week on and still having symptoms.

Location is in awesome place and the beach next to the hotel is incredible. And here ends the benefits of the hotel. Rooms are quite nice, but would rather fit the description of 2 star hotel, not 4. In our room the roof was leaking during storm! Half of hotel got food poisoning from the food, including me. One day cut from life due to lying in bed. The service is rather nice, the bartender near the pool bar is one of friendliest and nicest human i've ever met, i could easily say, that that man's back gotta hurt from carrying the whole joy of staying in this place. To summarise: you could stay there for twice lower price.

I've read a review from another person and I have similar opinion, just that I had my room cleaned every day, but Sunday. We paid an extra money for a bungalow, but this is just a regular room with an amazing view. My room 234 looks old. It's clean, but the bathroom is small, with a short shower curtain and always after each shower the floor is wet. The metals are rusty and in our first day we had no hot water. Another guest told us they spent 3 days without hot water. There is no telephone in the room and poor cellphone signal cover in the property, you won't know when your hired car will be available unless you wait at the reception. The AC doesn't work, we have just fan mode. This room is also far from the main building and to get to the room you have to face a 60⁰ steep hill. I'm not joking, it takes 10 minutes and it's awful to go back to the room! The restaurant is also poor and boring. The food taste good, but you have no options and good luck if you have any allergies because there is no tags describing what you have in the trays. Breakfast is always the same and the coffee tastes cheap Nespresso. Also there is no menu for kids or special evenings like other all-inclusive hotels. The staff is polite and some kind nice. At the reception they're polite, but I have an impression they have to handle so many complains that they're tired. If you come during the night you can have some hard time, the employee doesn't speak English. The pools are clean, but the bars offer you the most cheap buzz and sodas. At one of the pools the pool bar is closed, it's a depressing view. The hotel is about 20-30 minutes on foot from Liapades and the Village has some good Restaurants and these small markets, but if you want to go somewhere else you'll need to hire a car or taxi. There is a bus to Corfu every 2 hours, but the last bus leaves Corfu to Liapades at 16h00. I came with the polish company Gregos and I had a low expectation about this kind of all-inclusive hotel(you can't expect so much), but boy! This place is cheap! I hope the employees have good salaries, because I have this impression the owners want do the barely minimum to maximize they profit or this place is about to break. My holidays aren't worse because the weather is super good and Corfu is amazing!

Me and my family have been to this resort a few times. Everytime they have welcomed us with open arms and I'd like to thank Maria, the helpful receptionist on the front desk when we arrived, who has always been very kind and efficient for anything we ever needed. Food options are plentiful and the rooms are nice, especially the ones on the sea front near to the beach bar. Will be returning for many years to come hopefully.

The resort is very well kept, the rooms are spacious and wee equipped. They employ lots of staff to take care of your every need. The entertainment crew are brilliant with both young and old. And the food selection is second to none. All in all this a wonderful place to spend quality time with family and friends. The pools are large, the beach is on site and there are numerous bars and restaurants just a 5 minute walk away where you can watch any big matches that are on. I would highly recommend this hotel for people who want 5 star service for 3 star prices.

All bad reviews unfortunately turned to be truth. The huge disappointment. This hotel doesn't cost the full price at all. The cleaners woke me up several times early in the morning, the sign "don't disturb" they ignored because...they don't speak English. The stuff was rude. The free chair near the pool you will never find after 9 am, some people were sitting on the floor! Stuff didn't care. The hotel is old and unfixed. From my stay there I understood that they don't respect the guests and don't care about good service, for them were are just the money they have from us. I do not recommend this hotel. For this price you can find another one much better.

From arrival, the service was terrific, with friendly staff who went out of their way to make us welcome. One of the guest liaisons even sent wine and fruit to our room, and followed up with a call to check we were having a good time, and that we had received the gift. The site was large, but kept spotlessly clean, with our room well tended. The food was reasonably varied and well prepared, with fresh fruit and bread to a terrific standard. The drink options were also varied and to a higher standard than previously experienced with all-inclusive sites. The beach was private and close to all amenities. We both came back relaxed and having enjoyed a terrific holiday.

Nothing extraordinary. For the amount paid for a full week with kids, i would expect the buffet to have more variation. Even though each night had different themes, the tastes/seasoning was very much alike. The room was pretty decent, though it is weird a 4+ star hotel have crooked floors in the bathroom and a lot of the "finish" was quite terrible. Would fire the entrepreneurs if it was my own house. Pools, beach very good. Good entertainment for the kids. Snacks bars with decent food, though the "Italian pizza" was pretty far from Italian pizza. Unfortunately drinks was mode undrinkable strong (and i enjoy whisky neat) Beers was nice and cold Wine had not much to do with wine, and was served 25 Celsius hot. All in all a decent stay, but should probably be 30% off. Go down the city. Visit Alex taverna. Brilliant food and company.

My first time in Corfu and my first experience of all inclusive, visiting with 3 adult family members. Labranda Beach has it all, great beach location, spacious and clean rooms, and such choices of beautifully cooked and presented dishes in the restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful in reception, bars, restaurant and also the cleaning staff. The restaurant staff were extremely attentive. It is a large busy resort with all the challenges this must present in terms of upkeep but I never saw one person who was not constantly working at their tasks. The evening entertainment was very pleasant. I liked the token system for drinks - no messy tables waiting to be cleared ! I have a slight disability but ramps and hand rails were available to assist me to get around. Yes there are wasps and mosquitoes but the hotel cannot control flying creatures ! Improvements could be made to the showers - we were given extra towels to place on the floor where water splashed out of the shower cubicle but it was manageable. Maintenance staff were quick to visit and did replace the shower head, which helped. It would be useful if a map of the area, bus timetable and information about places to visit etc could be included in the pack you receive on arrival. Having said that we visited Corfu town and Benitses where my son had stayed earlier in the year. We did not want to leave at the end of our stay and are already looking into returning in 2024

Nice hotel, pools cleaned and disinfected daily, lunches and dinners tasty and rich. Breakfast a bit plain. The rooms are smaller, but that doesn't matter because no one spends their vacation in the room. The pleasant atmosphere is completed by the perfect staff, especially one receptionist (the older one) and to smiling waiters. The only minus was the lot of plastic waste that we produced daily at the bar. Every single drink goes into a plastic cup, which is sad. Greetings to the staff and thank you for a nice holiday.

The hotel is wonderful, food was delicious and the parties marvellous. The only drawback was the bathroom - not in a very good state. But all in all I can recommend this hotel as a base for sightseeing as the staff was very kind and friendly.

Peaceful and and friendly place to stay. Our room was very nice and clean. Food is excellent. Swimming pool is cleaned everyday. Good location nearby nice beach. Lovely and helpful stuff. The hotel exceeded all of our expectations! Great area, very clean and mostly the staff was great! People at the restaurant area were taking the best care of us, they kept the space clean and always had smile on their face:)🤍 reception is just great, always willing to help (especially Pari🩵) and the manager seems to never sleep :) Food was great too, we skipped the breakfasts but we fairly enjoyed lunch and dinner. I would welcome some small refreshments like fruits and veggies by the pool and maybe an earlier dinner :) Our rooms were nicely clean, everything was working well :) thank you! 💙

We booked our Holidays for Corfu this year as it was all inclusive and my flight from Aberdeen was easy to fly to Heathrow and back. We found the prices onthebeach.co.uk very competitive compared to other places for a quick holiday. Its a 40 minute ride from the airport to the Hotel and is situated on the other end of the town away from the hustle bustle. The scenery to the hotel is just gorgeous. Facing the sea on the mountains just adds beauty to this place. The staff of this hotel was superb and couldn’t do anymore to please it’s customers. Our room was changed from Villa (Initially booked) to private suites facing the pool. The restaurant on level 2 serves good food with daily changes in the menu. If you are a vegetarian it would be a little difficult for one. There is a gift shop inside the hotel which is super expensive so make sure you bring things from the town when you travelling here. The pools are clean and the rooms are beautiful. There is nothing I could fault staying here in this place. If you looking for a budget holiday this is one heck of a place. I will definitely come here again

This place is perfect for people who love quiet and peace, it has a very beautiful view. If you want to have fun there is people who organized waterpolo and aerobic in the pool and at the night they organized greek nights, bingo, karaoke, disco… and they are very nice. The sea was very nice and clean, the hotel is with own stony beach and there is a shower near. There is two pools near of them is a snack bar that works from 12-16and there is another bar for drinks that works from 10-23. The staff is amazing especially those in the restaurant. But the staff at reception was a little bit rude. In 10 days they clean your room and change towels over the day. For the food there is large selection, three different meats all the time, too many salads so everyone will find something for themselves. We stayed in a bungalow which is located at the bottom near the hotel and its lovely.

We arrived at the hotel very late in the evening unfortunately our suite had an electrical issue and was not ready for us so they arranged an alternative room for the night although this was not a suite without asking the next day the General Manager Reservation Manager and reception manager extended our stay 1 more night and put fresh fruit with a bottle of wine in our Room. Nothing was to much for the staff of the Hotel and every member of the staff was very pleasant. We would like to thank the management team and all the staff for a friendly stay at the Hotel...

We had a very nice time here!!!The view is amazing. The hotel is very big and you can do a lot of things! The food was not very good,not variety. The rooms could be better! Miltos and Rafaela are very good receptionists they helped us with everything we needed!

Room had bath but no plug, shower but nowhere to fix the shower head to. The tea, coffee and sugar were never replaced. The towels were never changed. The food in the hot buffet was always cold or cool, never hot. The Greek dance troup were excellent and a good diversion on Sunday Night.

A good hotel in a wonderful location. We had breakfast and supper each day, and the food was good. The room was nice, and kept clean. There are entertaining parties each evening organized by the hotel staff. The pools are clean and well attended to. There are adults only areas. Overall we were very satisfied with the hotel. We would recommend it to everyone.

We really enjoyed our stay. Particularly found the entertainment appealing and varied. Kids loved the swimming pools, although it was a shame the kids pool was shut for the 5 out of 7 days we were here. We used the kids club but thought a few more activities could have been offered. A wonderful stay. Thank you to all the staff for their hard work and enthusiasm.

Great hotel at the right price. It is not one large building, but many smaller ones scattered over a large area in the green surroundings. There are many attractions for children on site, such as animations, shallow swimming pools, slides and playgrounds. A big advantage of the hotel is good and varied food, you can actually eat in various parts of the hotel throughout the whole day. Apart from that, clean rooms, nice service and the beach is very close. As for the disadvantages, poor Wi-Fi coverage and a not particularly beautiful beach. A hotel worth recommending, especially to families with children. Also there are many boats for rent nearby and the possibility of going on a cruise.

This resort is on the north of the island with a very clean beach, where you can see the scenic views of the mountain. It caters very well to families. Great amenities, friendly staff and other guests seem to be friendly too. My one criticism is that the food could have been better. The food was pretty average and options for non-pork eaters was very limited. The children's play centre called Wonderland was really good. The pools are very sizeable and our room had a private pool attached. Getting a beach towel required a deposit of €20 each, which I thought was unnecessary but best take your own. The town centre is only 10 minutes walk along the beach which was great and full of restaurants and bars, you can also reach there with a 10 minutes taxi driver but I'll recommend the walk along the beach to be honest. Overall a great place except for the food. I do accept as a non-pork eater this was quite unique to me but I've been to other places where we've been catered for much better.

Yin and Yang place. Most staff did the minimum that they could get away with while others seemed to enjoy their job and were helpful and attentive. For example, the staff on the main bar (one in particular) was friendly, welcoming, and always busy (mostly worked on his own), but when time permitted, he went to the tables and asked if he could get more drinks and cleared tables etc. The pool bar always had 2 staff who were never busy and made you feel like you are an inconvenience and were interrupting their conversation. Although they had practically nothing to do, they never left the bar to ask anyone if they wanted drinks, or remove empties. The main restaurant had the same mix of helpful and unhelpful staff. It was buffet style with a reasonably mix of food, not the best quality, but then again we didn't pay a lot to stay there all-inclusive, so they did the best that they could on a budget. Two downsides were there was no food when we arrived for late check-in (snacks for late arrival was part of the deal), and you just couldn't get anything to eat after 9.30pm. You have the option to book a table at the beach restaurant. Don't bother with the Chinese restaurant, the food was either not available, and what was available was horrible, and the server was very abrupt and not the least bit attentive. i.e never even asked about drinks. The hotel and grounds were well kept but the rooms could do with a little work. A kettle with tea and coffee but nowhere to plug it in, to turn the lights on, we had to move the bed because the switch was behind the bedpost, etc. Not really anywhere to go out and about, but we didn't intend going out on this holiday and there was entertainment in the evening.

Thank you to all the team. Staff are friendly and work very hard. We enjoyed a lovely week here. I would return and recommend the hotel. The beach is very safe for young children as it has a gradual slope to the sea. Also the beach has a nice breeze. It was easier to find a sun bed on the beach than the pool. If you snooze you lose, so be up early! There is lovely shade in the garden near the beach if you cannot find a parasol. We were unlucky with the weather but enjoyed 2 perfect hot days. The gardens are beautiful. A lovely relaxing trip.

Just returned to the rainy uk after 10 days at Roda beach resort. We had a beautiful time, the staff were fantastic, amenities and our rooms were also very nice. We made good friends with the staff in short time, they couldn’t do enough for us and that made our time there that little bit more special. You don’t really have to leave the resort but I would advise a nice walk up the beach into the town centre where your find after about 10 mins walking some lovely shops, restaurants and bars. Would also recommend hiring boats and experiencing the island with no guides, we loved it. Would also return at some point in the future for sure. Thanks everyone for a beautiful time.

Amazing experience and would definitely visit again. Love the entertainment. Rado and team animation is a great addition to this place. Marius and the lady making the omlette in the main restaurant are genuinely very nice and compliment the service. The whole place was clean, daily housekeeping, amazing staffs and to be able to have your own private pool area was very nice for our kids. Our children loved staying their so much, wanted to stay longer and we heard the same from other people who visited. Definitely recommend this place.

Firstly just want to say that the hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are very friendly but that's it. There's no hot water had to shower in freezing cold water. The all inclusive wasn't that much. There wasn't that much to do for the kids the pool was freezing and the hotel is far away from town. There is a bus to Corfu town but only at certain times. Greece is lovely though and the views are beautiful.

Absolutely amazing place. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Had amazing conversation with most of them. Any time of the day all the questions were answered and they even got out of their way to offer us extra services so we would enjoy our stay even more. Mixed feelings about this place. The rooms are OK, bathrooms average, views great, the food is plentiful but very poor (that’s being kind - it’s all inclusive but after the first breakfast and dinner we ate out the rest of the time. All the soft drinks are not real- they can’t make cappuccino etc; they put some powder in the machine and I’m not sure what comes out. Would go again for the views but they need to up their game on the rooms and change the F&B offering completly.

We (7 of us) had a truly delightful stay at Aeolos Beach Resort, and there are so many positive aspects to share about this place! First and foremost, the resort is impeccably maintained, and the staff's hospitality is top-notch. Their helpfulness and warm welcome made our stay all the more enjoyable. The all-inclusive dining experience was a pleasant surprise, and it extended even to the beach restaurant and bar, making it incredibly convenient. With two à la carte restaurants, there were options for those seeking a different culinary adventure. The rooms were not only well-appointed but also kept spotlessly clean. Finding a large bottle of water in the fridge upon arrival was a thoughtful touch. We stayed in a bungalow with a sea view at the top of the resort, and while the terrain is quite hilly, the resort offers golf buggies or vans to shuttle you between reception and your room if needed. The lagoon pool, although initially chilly, quickly becomes refreshing. We took advantage of swimming in the sea and enjoyed some snorkeling too. For practical matters, it's good to know that you can rent an iron and ironing board from reception for a €10 deposit (in cash), and you can also request a better hair dryer for those with long hair, no deposit needed. Additionally, obtaining poolside towel cards from reception for a €10 deposit (refundable in cash) is essential. The option to change towels at the beach is convenient. In terms of location, it's suitable, especially if you have a hire car. The bus stop is conveniently located at the bottom of the driveway, and the excursion guy nearby is a great resource for tours. While Corfu Town is easily accessible by bus, it's not safe to walk there due to the road's condition. Taxis can be expensive, so the bus is a more economical choice. The spa amenities are worth a visit, and there's even a free sauna available if you remember to book ahead. While the nearby beaches may not be the most picturesque, the resort's overall experience compensates for it. Lastly, the only downside seemed to be the presence of wasps, especially attracted to meat. However, as long as you avoid eating meat outdoors, they shouldn't pose a major issue. In summary, Aeolos Beach Resort offers a great holiday experience, and it's no surprise that your son loved it so much he returned a few months later. It's a well-maintained and welcoming place that provides a memorable getaway on the beautiful island of Corfu.

We are on our last day of ten and have had an amazing stay. We have a sea view bungalow with amazing views. The room is basic but we'll equipped and comfortable. The staff are great and friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is fantastic. The beach is fantastic for swimming and snorkelling. This is a great base for visiting other areas of the island and trips into Corfu. The setting of the hotel is beautiful and peaceful and it feels like a home from home. Would absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back again. Thank you Aeolos staff for a wonderful, much needed holiday.

Great experience with two small kids. Nice, calm, quiet. The front desk and the stuff is extremely helpful and speaks good English. The food is of high quality and fresh. The location is great with convenient connection with Corfu Town either by bus or rental car.

The staff were very good, helpful and pleasant. We asked for a room change due to the number of steps, they went out of their way to accommodate us The whole hotel is spotless. Rooms are pretty much similar to a travel lodge layout but with gorgeous views! Food can be a bit repetitive but would definitely recommend booking into the 2 restaurants. The hotel is spread out over a steep hillside so might be difficult for the elderly. However there are buggy's which will give you a lift anywhere in the hotel grounds. If you are a beach lover this is not the place for you. It is just a narrow strip really. However the sea is beautiful and boat and car rental is just across the road.

We had really high hopes for this place, as it was built as a five star resort, maybe we were expecting too much for five stars, whilst the food was good, and it was right on the ocean, the rooms were too small dated, no actual double beds and they were too hard, giving me back pain, lunch was too busy and a bit crowded, The beach was dirty lots of cigarette buds etc. The menu for all inclusive drinks was as cheap as they could make it , air-conditioning made horrible noises at times. If it weren’t for the staff being attentive and listening, we would’ve asked to move hotel was also very busy with younger families and the noise from the group animations was unexpected, and not what we had hoped for.

We arrived quite late but were checked in very fast. We asked the receptionist where the best place to swim was and she replied everywhere and looked as if she was irritated and confused. The next day we wanted to go swim in the ocean and there was sea grass and trash in the water. The whole beach smelled like sewage. I don’t recommend swimming in the ocean if you are prone to infections. We went on a walk and found piles and piles of trash and sewage spilling into the sea, some meters from the hotel beach. The pool was freezing cold. The rooms were very nicely equipped and have toiletries, a kettle, tea, coffee and water bottles. They are cleaned daily. The only problem is that every time you flush the toilet it reeks of sewage. It is quite hard to fall asleep as well since a big blue light shines from the router? . The gym was great, many machines and was nicely equipped. Breakfast was good, had many options but got a bit repetitive, the waiters do bring you what you want to drink so that is very nice. If you love cats this place is perfect. It has many small cats and kittens that run around and hang out while you eat your breakfast. The dinner was quite average. Every type of meat was covered in sauce so for a picky eater it was hard to find something basic except at the children’s section. The food could have been warmer as well. The desserts were good, I especially enjoyed the profiteroles. Some receptionists were extremely nice but one was a bit passive aggressive as well as the manager. Some understood English very well but some didn’t and didn’t even let us finish our sentence. Me and my partner felt as if we were being judged for asking for advice.

Upon arrival the room was delivered late but the rooms were cleaned and tidy each day. The food was ok but nothing exceptional. All activities were in french language making difficult to understand if you are not a flyent french speaker. The mosquitos were present during our stay.

It's good place to stay for calm vacation. The hotel is placed next to the sea, has 2 pools, also pool for kids. Has small kids playground. Rooms are mostly in cottages, all hotel like a small village. If you buy all inclusive - it's best choise. All staff are very kind. Food is good, various dishes to taste. It was good stay for us with the wife and kid.

Currently on vacation at this hotel. Firstly the positives. Fantastic location! Can't fault it with the mountains and right on the beach, it is superb. Very relaxing spot. The staff, are really nice people, they are always friendly and will always try their upmost to cater for you. The endless supply of ice cream and crepes next to the beach is awesome. The pools are well Maintained, clean and always plenty of sun beds etc. The grounds are always clean and tidy, great job done by the hardworking ground staff. Now for the negatives, the buffet restaurant is manic, it is like watching cattle graze! Whilst this might be difficult for the hotel itself to control, dining for us wasn't relaxing at all, just felt to busy, guests rushing about to gather their food, table service was a bit of a joke, you get shown to your table, sometimes with no cutlery to eat with, you would then have to wait for the poor waiter to fetch you some cutlery. Definitely needs more waiters, they are trying their best but really are swamped by the demands of some of the guests. The hotel does have premium dining slots or alternative restaurants that you can book through reception. We arrived on the Friday, we went to reception Saturday and was told we would receive notification of availability of restaurants to our room via a letter, received nothing, so went down again Sunday to ask if we could book in one of the alternate restaurants and nothing. Tried again Monday and still waiting..... bit frustrating really as we wanted a couple of nights away from the frantic families trying to feed their young children so they catch the evening entertainment. Even though we were on an all inclusive package we have now resorted to going out to the other restaurants in town, just so we can experience table service, and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet with our two teenagers, as we all found it difficult to cope with eating in the buffet, not a great experience. In the evening whilst sitting outside, the table service is dire, I think only the more pushy guests will get served, which again is out of the hotels control to a degree, but there was nights on multiple occasions where we would put our order through to a waiter to then wait 30 minutes or more to receive anything and on multiple occasions didn't receive any drinks at all. The area outside where the entertainment is, most nights big groups of children are booting a football around which is fine, but not great when it is right next to people trying to enjoy their evening drink. Seen it happen on a couple of occasions people Getting pelted with a ball by other people's kids, parents in a world of their own. Starting to paint a picture?!? Hotel room is functional, I wouldn't say high end. Bathroom is basic, hot water run out multiple times, ran out of toilet roll and the room cleaning was ok but nothing to write home about. Mini bar, shouldn't be called a mini bar, it is a fridge that gets restocked with water and cola, no alcohol and no replacement wine, so don't get excited thinking your getting your own personal mini bar. On site drinks are 100% watered down or not what you would expect. Understandable being all inclusive, some guests would drink the hotel out of a profit margin, but it would have been nice to actually enjoy a beer that was remotely alcoholic, or a pina colada that didn't just taste like some cheap tat. To some this hotel is going to be a blast, those with young families, who are after quantity over quality, not too fused about the finer things, who don't really care about everybody else's experience this is the place to be. I wouldn't recommend this place at all to couples only, unless you can guarantee you are going during term time, otherwise it will feel like a never ending kids club. I don't think really the hotel is a 5 star hotel, based upon our experience I would class it as a 4 star perhaps? However in the hotel defense, it's the end of probably a very busy season, swamped with loads of demanding families, kind of dampened our expectations, which is a bit of a shame.

There is nothing negative to say - everything was great. Staff - 10/10, facilities -10/10, customer service - 10/10. We will definitely come back. Kids club is fantastic largely because the staff are outstanding. Felt very special when we arrived - greeted from the car and given fresh lemonade and Greek homemade sweets. I can't express how amazing it is. Whether it is because our visit was in October (term time) made it better I don't know but our experience was second to none and we can't recommend highly enough.

We had the most wonderful stay last week at Costa Botanica. The staff in the whole hotel were really lovely and the Grecoland kids club exceeded all of our expectations and we are so thankful for Elena, Ionna, Katerina for taking such wonderful care of our children and making it and even more special family vacation. Their love and care went above and beyond and our kids could not have had a better more fun filled vacation full of arts and crafts and games and movie nights and dancing. We felt absolutely confident in their ability and could not get our kids to leave! The food was delicious and the pools incredibly beautiful and designed for ultimate relaxation. We will hopefully be going again next year!

What an absolutely incredible stay we've had! Me and my partner stayed at Costa Botanica for 10 nights in October and it couldn't have been better. From the moment we arrived and were greeted with cold towels, lemonade and Greek sweets to every single moment in between, the holiday has been amazing. It is a truly unique hotel with a friendly village feel and 4 a la carte restaurants to choose from which served delicious food as well as different entertainment every night. We also made good use of the tennis courts, the 3 pools, the beach, paddle boarding, the spa, wine tasting and a Greek lesson! It really was the staff who made our stay perfect - every single one of them work so hard and are so friendly and welcoming! Despite a busy hotel, they were always so attentive and chatty. Particular thanks to Spiros, Athina and Lefteris who we saw most nights and were so kind! Thank you to everyone - we will definitely be returning again as soon as we can and would highly recommend staying here to everyone!

Just got back from 8 nights, our first holiday with our little 13 month. Can't recommend enough. Was perfect that if you wanted to you could just stay on site you and have plenty to do. Most of the staff, 90% were outstanding. Very friendly and happy to help. Would have like a little more variety at the buffet would have been good. Most of the baby chairs need replacing as broken. Rooms cleaned to a very high standard. Well stocked fridge. Drinks range superb.

A lovely resort with a spacious room. Enjoyed my time at this resort & would recommend if you’re looking for a stress free break. Staff were friendly and happy to assist with any requests we had. The only negative is the restaurant situation which I’m sure has been noted on plenty of other reviews. To ensure there are no tears, make sure to download the app beforehand & book into the restaurants well in advance. If you make reservation when you arrive, you will likely not be able to eat at many of the A la Carte restaurants. In saying this however, buffet restaurant still provided a decent feed (especially in comparison to many all inclusive resorts). Overall, an enjoyable experience with many memorable beverages indulged!

Me and my partner have just visited here after a 4 night trip. The entertainment here is non existent sadly we had one night of it out of 4! Just felt the we were counting down the hours in the evenings. A massive inconvenience also is the fact there’s no toilet facilities on the ground level of the hotel so if you needed to use the bathroom whilst eating it felt like you had to walk 5 minutes to go!!! We stayed in the bungalow sea view - room was very nice and had a classic Greek villa style to it with a lovely view! Downside to selecting this room was that we had paid extra money to fly out early to only be told we can’t check into our room until 15:00 which was a massive inconvenience as we arrived at 12pm and wanted to get into our cases to get changed after travelling most of the day and my partner who is heavily pregnant found this very uncomfortable. Upon that we checking out we asked if we could have a late check out but that wasn’t even an option according to front desk. The food here is pretty standard for an inclusive variety but seemed to be the same thing everyday so I could imagine if you stayed for longer than 4 days you would be a bit bored of the options! We didn’t get to try any of the a la carte restaurants unfortunately due to them being fully booked. Location of the hotel is nice but the downside is you are approximately a 25/30 minute drive into corfu town. Pools at the hotel are nice size but just too cold we didn’t see more than 5 people in the pool over our whole stay as everyone complained about the temperature. Beach is lovely with a great view and bar! Overall is a very nice hotel, with amazing staff who really do go the extra mile to ensure you have a great stay. Would definitely say this hotel is more of a relaxing break away than somewhere to escape with your children.

This hotel is something out of this world 😍. From the moment that we checked in, it was absolutely fantastic - very friendly and polite staff, always ready to help you and support with everything. It's definitely one of the best choices, and we have visited this fantastic island 10 times now. Close to Corfu Town and the balcony and the seaside has this gorgeous mountain view. The Downside was that we could not book any of the 'À la carte ' restaurants 😫. It was fully booked, and it was not fair because I really wanted to try Asian cuisine. Overall, I absolutely loved it - staff, food, views, beach, surroundings, and everything totally perfectly fine. You will not be disappointed! While the food at the main restaurant, Atain, is generally good, it might lack variety after a few days. The indoor pool, though occasionally not adequately heated, still provides a relaxing escape, while the outdoor pool can get quite busy with guests lounging around. We just got back from a fantastic stay at the Mareblue Hotel. I was slightly apprehensive having read some mixed reviews but those thoughts quickly feel away as we settled into our stay. The room we stayed in was a family room with a bunk bed for the children. I had previously read some negative comments about the rooms but our room looked like it had been recently refurbished and was done to a high standard. The food was great, we were there for a week and did not tire of the all inclusive offering. Drinks were also good, with a selection of cocktails on offer with wines, beer and local spirits also available. The site itself was lovely and spotlessly clean, with three swimming pools and we had no issues getting sun beds each day. There is not a huge amount going on outside of the resort, just a couple of bars and restaurants. However, this made the site feel incredibly safe and we had no concerns with our children (9 & 11) going off and doing their own thing. Finally, what makes the hotel is the staff. They are so are hard working and welcoming. We would not hesitate to return to this beautiful corner of Corfu again! (Just to add, there were lots of comments about mosquitos/wasps, may have been because we were at the start of the season but we didn’t encounter any issues!)

A lovely hotel, came here for mine and my husbands honeymoon and was well worth it. All staff are amazing. Food is delicious and the weather is perfect! Only thing that let it down was the ants and bugs that entered the room, when we arrived we had no bugs and the night we came back on the 1st day, it was covered. I think to improve there should be traps in the rooms and spray if required to use to get rid of them. But other from that a very enjoyable week here

Great location, very helpful staff and great service. It was a perfect vacation. I booked the vacation through Jet2 holidays, and it didn't disappoint us. The resort is at an hours  distance by bus from Corfu airport. We had to queue up for checking in. However, the staff were very helpful and delivered our luggage to our room. They also served refreshments while we were waiting to be checked in. The reception area is very modern and they also have a beautiful spa. The spa is a bit pricey, though, but it was worth it. The room we got was sea viewing and had a great view. The room itself was not the best but not too bad as well. The quality of the rooms could be improved, but I will still give it a 7 out of 10. The landscape was carefully built and was greatly maintained. The restaurant was very good and offered very good food. They had a vast variety of food and everyday changing menu. The restaurant staff was also very helpful. They also have two restaurants in the pool area, which serve Mediterranean and Italian food. The downfall is the all-inclusive drinks, which was not worth at all. Alcohol lovers would not like it. There was no whisky in their all-inclusive menu, and they had all the local alcohols. If you want to have any other alcohol that is not in their menu, there will be extra charge for that. But overall experience was good. There are small beaches just 100 meters walk from the resort and some restaurants and grocery stores as well. The restaurants were not open when I went there in April but were about to be opened as the tourist season was approaching. They also have a children's club where you can leave your kids for some hours to have fun. Overall, it was a very good experience.

The hotel left an exceptionally pleasant impression! I would especially like to mention the wonderful staff: everyone is very attentive and friendly, and the animators Gracie and Joy, along with their boss, are simply amazing. The food at the hotel is diverse and very tasty, and the selection of drinks caters to all tastes. The hotel's grounds are impressively beautiful: numerous palm trees and three spacious pools create a true paradise feeling. The only drawback is the weak internet in the rooms, but this is a minor issue compared to the overall experience. I definitely recommend this hotel for a vacation!

I'm hoping this review clears up the opinion of this resort given the mixed feedback. *Rating* Firstly this is a 3 star hotel. Not a 4 star. Bellhop service is an expectation for a 4 star hotel and Mareblue does not offer this. No amenities also e.g. robes, slippers. No room service. I was travelling with family. We have an 8 month old and was placed on the second floor of the Goldfinger building. Everyday I had to carry the pram up two flights, not to mention bring all of our luggage ourselves without any help or offer from the hotel. Whilst checking out, I saw an elder family group having to carry their poor suitcases from reception to the other side of the hotel. *All inclusive* Mareblue is definitely all inclusive. Like other hotels they have a premium menu which isn't included, but all in all, there is a decent variety. See image of menu. *Room Quality* You pay for what you get, I had the superior double and suite with my family. This is the premium version of the other rooms available. This is probably why there are some complaints of the rooms being run down. There is an ant problem, bring some citronella as house keeping tend to resolve it...but they keep coming back. *Location* It's one hour away from the airport. So bare this in mind when traveling. The view of the Albanian mountains is breathtaking. There is a beach nearby also. *Wasps* Like any hot country, there are mosquitos...just bring your jungle spray. I went in April...didn't see much of an issue here like other reviews mention. *Food* There is a range like most all inclusive establishments. Depends on your pallet but the food was on the bland side. The most you'll wait is 2 mins before you're seated, and that's only because they are adjusting tables depending on your group size. Olives and Pizzeria - they say you have to book in advance but when you get there...it's already booked. Very silly behaviour in my opinion. Of course they back themselves with the clause of "subject to availability" but if you staying here. Contact the hotel in advance and you may get a spot. Margherita Pizza from the Pizzeria is available for lunch in the pool area so don't worry if there's no availability. *Entertainment* Garbage. They had a singer who could not sing, and there was bingo most nights. If you've ever watched the TV show Benidorm...that's basically what you get. The kids disco was fun for the kids. *Transport* The hotel offers a shuttle bus return service to certain locations e.g. Corfu old town return €15 pp (see images) you can also Google other transfer services nearby who are more expensive, but offer privacy. *Staff* The receptionists aren't that welcoming. They're probably overworked but given that this hotel is advertised as a 4 star, I expect better. The guest relations (blonde lady) was rude and unprofessional. They should get her another role because customer service isn't working. The bartenders and restaurant staff were really great. They made you feel welcomed. *Final notes* If you're looking for a getaway at a decent price, this is probably up your alley. Unfortunately for me, I was ready to leave the minute I got there. My holiday was during April half term, so availability for other hotels and villas was a myth. If there were options...I would have ditched Mareblue in a heartbeat.
