This is a late post as we visited in April 2024 - a big thanks to all of the staff of the Bel Jou for making our vacation great. We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday and the hotel did everything to make our time special. The hotel works very hard to give a variety of entertainment. The fire show was amazing! Very clean rooms, attentive service, excellent Caribbean food, and walking tours as well as the daily water aerobics made our trip fun and kept us active. Note there is no Coke Zero or Diet Coke, but if you ask the manager, he will arrange for bottles to be brought to your room, which was very nice. I miss the views at breakfast of Castries and the beach. Highly recommend this resort!

The place has incredible views, you can see Martinique from the buffet area. The vast majority of the staff were so friendly, so helpful and polite. The hotel itself is beautiful. The food was amazing, during my 4 nights, I got to try many different cuisines and some very good local food also. The all inclusive drinks were delicious and there is a self service bar by one of the pools. The hotel can arrange transportation & although it is a bit pricey compared to say, a local driver, it is reliable and the drivers were also friendly and polite. The staff took my luggage to my room for me which I greatly appreciated. The free WiFi is also available around most of the resort. The air conditioning in my room was amazing and the room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The plug sockets are uk style which was perfect for me but they also have adapters available. Some of the male staff were a bit too friendly, as I was alone it did make me uncomfortable as I had to get one member of staff to open my room for me & I felt he was making inappropriate comments, knowing he knew what room I was staying in, while I’m almost sure he meant no harm, the way it came across made me a little uneasy. I returned at around 1:15am from the Friday night street party, a popular tourist attraction. There was nobody at the front desk, meaning I couldn’t get any bottled water after having been out in 27 degree weather. The letter containing all the information for my check out was dumped outside my room, on the porch, I didn’t discover it in time meaning things like a late check out were no longer possible. I paid 60 usd for a pedicure which ended up chipping off within 36 hours. The walls are quite thin, I could hear my neighbours tv. To have the amazing views that’s bel jou has, it has to be on top of one of the steepest hills I’ve ever seen, I personally called a driver every time I left the hotel & that was quite pricey.

We stayed here for my boyfriend birthday. The stay was amazing. The rooms where clean, the pool was clean , the staff was pleasant especially brendan and Anabelle who help us with anything we wanted , they are very friendly and polite . All in a it was a really good experience and I would recommend anyone to stay at this hotel .Also Dana at the front desk made sure everything was smooth and she was very friendly, I appreciate that very much . We would differently be back here .😄😊

My husband and I attended this resort for our honeymoon and had the best time! The workers were wonderful and the food is amazing. We did have one issue with the Piton Sunset Cruise excursion offered by the resort. We booked it (and paid a pretty decent amount for it) but upon boarding the boat, we immediately regretted our decision. The seats were PACKED. Like, uncomfortably packed. We couldn’t move. There were also a couple families with a large group of kids (which totally isn’t an issue, we love kids, but we did pay for a couples only resort and felt this should’ve been disclosed ahead of time). The kids were a bit fussy and it was chaotic. The boat wouldn’t start and we were waiting for about 45 minutes while they tried to fix it. Eventually we decided we didn’t feel comfortable with the condition of the boat, and asked to be taken back to the resort. We would absolutely never recommend this cruise to anyone. We are waiting to hear back from management regarding a refund. Otherwise, we have loved our experience. We are a little upset we had to waste about 3 hours of our second to last day.

Stayed from 7/13 - 7/20. We loved the beautiful resort. The staff work very hard at keeping the grounds and room pristine. Restaurants were always very good. Wait staff professional and friendly. Carnival was awesome to see. The on site nurse was so helpful when I got sick. Sea Trek and Bean to Bar were amazing excursions. Dawn gave me the best massage I have ever had! All bartenders are great! Vince made us amazing drinks! Loved the pools and swim up bars. Entertainment was great! Silent Disco was a blast! Thank you Halcyon staff for taking care of my husband and I as guests in St. Lucia! I only have two complaints. Our bed was very hard. Secondly, the drivers from the airport and to the excursions. Speeding and weaving in traffic. One of our drivers hit a curb. Due to the aggressive driving, we decided against seeing the other Sandals Resorts. However, the driver that took us back to the airport was excellent! Not sure if Sandals has any influence on how the driver transports guests. If Sandals can address this issue it will be greatly appreciated.

My husband and I stayed at Sandals Halcyon Beach in June of 2024 for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We booked a Honeymoon Butler Room with Private pool. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us and got us into our room quickly. We seemed to have missed the formal 'tour' of the property that we saw other vacationers on, so we had to request that on our second day. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and warm. We had three different butlers, so I'm not sure that we necessarily got a seamless experience, however they all accommodated our requests. They even set out a cute "Happy Anniversary" banner with a chilled bottle of bubbly. The resort is clean and beautiful, but like others probably mention, it has a bit of age. There were spots on our pool where the tile was shoddily patched, and the main beachfront pool was a bit worn. Overall, everything seemed clean and tidy at the resort, but I did notice a bit of mold/mildew in our shower. The food was fabulous! We tried every restaurant except Mario's because we loved Kelly's Dockside so much we went there twice during our stay. So, overall, I enjoyed our stay.

This stay was a dream come true for us, 10 years in the making. In our books it is kind of pricey, however, it was well worth the money. Sandals Halcyon in St. Lucia was a quiet and laid back kind of resort. Not a bunch of hoopla, loud music and partying. Just perfect for us. We very much enjoyed the restaurants and everything else the resort had to offer. The one think I must say is that the staff made the stay even better. It is very obvious that these employees love their job. None of them ever walked by us with out saying hello and wishing us a good morning, good evening, etc. They all went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. We visited the Sandals Grande once during our stay and that resort was not our kind of vibe. It was very crowded and was very much the party scene, we only stayed for the food. On that note, we very much recommend the Sandals Halcyon to anyone wishing to go to an all inclusive resort that is laid back and relaxing.

My husband and I loved this resort! We stayed in one of the beachfront rooms with an outdoor soaking tub. The room was perfect and the outdoor area had a curtain for privacy, which was perfect as the path in front of the room was pretty well-traveled. Housekeeping kept the room pristine and well-stocked. While you can travel between resorts via Sandals shuttles, we did not feel it was necessary as the food, beach, and pool were amazing. There is a pretty good assortment of food options that range from beach casual to dressed up (dress for women and dress pants for the guys). The beach was quiet and we never had a problem finding chairs. There were some locals on the beach trying to sell souvenirs, but they were not too bothersome. I would recommend booking any excursions through the resort as it gave me peace of mind, especially knowing that transport was prearranged. Everyone was very, very friendly, and we were informed that this resort is the quietest of the three Sandals resorts on the island, which was perfect for us. Overall the trip was amazing and we plan to return! As an FYI: I also highly recommend the Catamaran sunset cruise with snorkeling. As far as I saw, there were not opportunities to snorkel ON the resort as there are at other Sandals locations (I've never been to another, so this is based on what I read beforehand). As far as excursions go, we booked ahead, but most of the couple we met at the resort booked on the first day they got there and were fine (it was actually easier for them to see what was offered and compare excursions with the help of the employees). We did arrive right after a hurricane, so I don't know if it is this easy to book all the time.

My husband and I purchased a day pass at the resort for my birthday and it was awesome! It included lunch and other food as well as a drink package. There were also a few surprises from the staff. 😁😁 We got chairs and an umbrella and a server that gets your drinks and food. There is an incredible snorkeling area that is roped off but you can snorkel anywhere there. Thank you so much for offering the day pass - it was just perfect!!

All staff friendly and could answer any question asked. They added personal touches and surprises every other day! Excursions and resort facilities were fantastic. Enough water sports and snorkelling areas. Food was fantastic with plenty of choices. Room spacious, clean and wonderful views of the pitons.

We found Anse Chastanet with British Airways Holidays and booked the all inclusive package. Location: Beautiful location on the hillside with lovely views of the Pitons and sea. Enjoyed sunset views on our balcony in our room. One note to be prepared for the bumpy track to the hotel. We didn't find it too bad but could be troublesome for those who get car sick. I'd recommend asking the hotel to take the water taxi from the local town as they do provide this for a small charge and are happy to accommodate. Room: Our standard room was very spacious with great amenities. The molton brown products were lovely as well as the welcome rum drink and banana bread. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our 'fact of the day' bedtime reading as part of the turndown service. Housekeeping was excellent throughout our stay and the hotel kindly gave us a bottle of prosecco for our anniversary. They left plenty of water each day in our room. We didn't have any trouble with mosquitoes but there was bug spray in the room in case. We are light sleepers so we made use of the ear plugs and eye masks in the room but it's lovely to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of nature. There was no air conditioning in our room but there were plenty of fans and found it was cool enough at night to have a good sleep. Food: We were impressed with the variety of food options and the quality of the food. Drinks, cocktails and wine were super! This is where the all inclusive package pays for itself as you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner every day. We enjoyed that they provided towels on the beach and you could put out a yellow flag to order drinks and food. Services: complimentary activies include yoga, chocolate and rum tastings, walks and water sports. We also paid to hike up the Gross Piton (a great climb but not for the faint hearted!), saw plenty of Dolphins and Sperm Whales on the whale watching tour and went on an escorted snorkle to the Piton. The snorkelling around the reef at the beach is also fantastic and we saw plenty of colourful fish, turtles, baby barracuda and sea snakes. Every morning and afternoon the beach attendants would come around with cool lemongrass towels and spray us lightly with a eucalyptus spray to cool us down. Much appreciated in the hot weather! I had am aromatherapy massage in the air conditioned spa which was very relaxing! Staff: Everyone was so friendly and made our stay comfortable. A big thank you to the girls at reception for letting us check out of our room later for our delayed evening flight. We were able to enjoy the beach for a couple more hours! We enjoyed meeting everyone and recommend the nature walk with Meno. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

My bouquet was an exact match to the picture I provided, showcasing her strong attention to detail and dedication. Bernd, the photographer, along with Casey and the rest of the team, were phenomenal. They had an incredible eye for capturing the breathtaking scenery, resulting in stunning shots that we will treasure forever. **Resort Amenities:** The resort itself is a unique blend of luxury and local flair. The decor and food reflect the rich culture of Saint Lucia, providing an authentic and immersive experience. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The food was incredible, offering a delightful array of dishes that catered to all tastes. The beach and water were stunning, with a gorgeous onsite reef perfect for snorkeling. The resort features walking trails and two beaches, ensuring that it never felt crowded. Overall, our stay at Anse Chastanet set a new standard for us. We cannot wait to return and relive the magic of this extraordinary resort. Just getting around to reviewing after having visited in October 2023 for honeymoon. Upon arrival, we were pleased to discover that our room was upgraded and we even had a choice of two different rooms. We settled with the room that has a large tree growing from the shower floor. While the room was incredible and breathtaking upon entry, we did miss the view of the Pitons. The shower also had a very slow drain, causing frightening gurgles in the dual sinks while draining. We knew about the open-air concept of these rooms, but were unprepared for the symphony of tree frogs throughout the night and the rude sun awakening us in the morning. The room did come with earplugs and eye masks, but nothing seemed to mask the glorious nature of Saint Lucia. The in-room amenities were plentiful and nearby water bottle filling station kept us hydrated. The espresso machine in our room was a favorite of ours, especially when paired with our handmade chocolate. Definitely take advantage of the shuttles to get around the resort. A couple of days walking the stairs and steps will have you hurting well into arriving home from vacation. Anyone that has visited Anse Chastanet via wheeled vehicle can tell you that the road leading to and from the resort is atrocious. After going out for one day of self-guided excursions, we decided to spend the rest of our time at the resort to avoid the road. Maybe this is a premeditated strategy to keep people at the resort, or maybe to keep the riffraff out? Either way, we found that with the rental car it’s best to go faster and get the drive over with. The beach was wonderful and the snorkeling area was impressive to say the least. We wandered over to Anse Mamin and were blown away by its seclusion and beauty. The food was pretty good, but nothing really stood out as overly impressive. The drinks were good, but we were confused why “craft cocktails” section is not included in the all-inclusive plan. It’s not really all-inclusive if you’re having to pay for alcohol. We did not realize this the first night and ordered more than a couple. Once we realized the next day, we asked around and got the same answer from all staff that those drinks will be charged to our room along with all other top-shelf liquors that we order. We did order more of the craft cocktails throughout our stay and expected to see them on our final bill, but no sign of them when reviewing the check out paperwork at the airport. We took the sunset cruise offered through the resort, which was delightful. However, this was also omitted from our final bill at checkout, which we didn’t notice as we were rushing to get to the airport. It wasn’t until a week later the resort emailed to say they were charging my card on file for the cruise excursion. Overall, the stay was good and we found out quickly why everybody raves about the service. The staff makes it a point to treat you like royalty. Our stay at Anse Chastanet was truly a unique, once in a lifetime experience that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Overall, we had a great experience here in St. Lucia. The staff were very friendly, courteous, helpful all of the above. It was such an amazing time here the food was great. The drinks were amazing overall I will definitely come back next couple years great place for honeymooners, anniversaries, birthdays, it’s a beautiful island. Myself and my husband will definitely vacation again with sandals.

When we arrived it didn’t start off well. our room smelled musty and was very hot. We called the front desk and they sent up the maintenance man. He looked at it for about 20 minutes and told us to wait another 15 minutes room temp was 78 but it was set for 65. After over two hours and us calling them they finally changed our room. We didn’t get in our room until 10pm. Val the manager apologized and ended up giving us a dinner comp. She tried her best to make it right. She has the best customer service at the resort. The entire visit she asked if we needed anything. The staff was very friendly. For me it being a sandals resort I expected more. It needed some updates. We even paid for an upgraded room but it was no different then the basic room. As for the alcohol the only had lower level alcohol. Other then the local beer Piton it wasn’t great.

Overall a wonderful place and a wonderful experience. There were a few minor things that were bothersome but most of it was great. I went there for a wedding and the bride had a very rough experience with her coordinator from the resort. However, my family and myself met others who had weddings the same weekend and they had great experiences with their coordinators. Around 70% of the bartenders and servers were friendly and even put up with my family and their jokes. Remy was easily the best and funnest bartender. The other group of servers or bartenders would make rude faces or be very short and you could tell they were not very happy (which I have never seen at other all-inclusive resorts or cruises I've been on). I also know if two room of weddings guests that had money stolen from their rooms. The resort had them fill out reports for it but one of them had $200 stolen from a closed suitcase. I highly recommend using the safe for anything, even if you think it's hidden. Hopefully it's not a common a just a coincidence that it happened to two groups I knew who were on the same trip. Anyway, those two negatives definitely did not soil my experience and I absolutely loved the views, service and many other things this place had to offer. Totally worth the trip for a honeymoon, wedding, or just vacation.

Everything was wonderful at Sandals Grande in St Lucia. Our room was actually refreshing when the island was hot and humid. The drivers were very informative about the island. It was a long ride from the airport , but what a view and the safe time traveling to and from the hotel. Thanks Linus and Big Rich ( shopping excursion). We wanted to thank particularly the staff that made our experience even more special, Randy & Peter poolside bar, Sharlene manager Barefoot Restaurant, Nicholas photographer and Nicholas room stock person, Rachel & Jolene massage ladies, and our private dinner waitress on August 24. ( Sorry, Forgot her name ). It was unforgettable. We will return again.

We absolutely loved Ladera. The staff was impeccable and so friendly! They cared about our entire experience at the island and made us feel really special. The view is unbeatable from everywhere in the resort especially the rooms and the nature walk is really lovely. The restaurant is amazing for all meals. And the yoga classes, the beach service, and all extras are just great. I’ve travelled all over the world to 55+ countries and highly suggest St Lucia and Ladera in all ways!

We stayed in Ladera 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely breathtaking. I’m a picky person when it comes to hotels and was a bit nervous as I wasn’t sure how I’d like the open air but it was perfect. Our room, the service and the food at Dasheene - all 5 stars. We also tried their Rum Tasting in their lovely new bar (which by the way has amazing AC) and thoroughly enjoyed learning about their St. Lucian rum. Highly recommend hiking their trail and visit the awesome treehouse and outside gym. Would absolutely come back to visit. Thank you Ladera team!

My husband and I came here to celebrate our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our butler Ali who gave us fresh coconut water with rum. She then gave us a brief tour of the resort so we could know where everything was located throughout our stay. After that she showed us to our room and helped us set up massage appointments (booked through Serenity’s honeymoon registry.) The following day we had a different butler because Ali was off and he helped us set up a couples Private Tour. We got to see some breath-taking views of St. Lucia and visited some of their most popular sites such as the volcano & sulphur springs, diamond waterfalls and the botanical garden. It was a fun day on the island and the transportation service Serenity uses has the most friendly & knowledgeable staff! The next day Ali helped us set up an excursion to do chocolate making at Hotel Chocolat and we had so much fun! Thank you again Ali for taking such good care of us during our stay! I would also like to shout out a few staff members that made our stay at Serenity one for the books. Thank you to Kevin who always made sure we had a drink in hand and brought the vibes! Thank you to Tyler for being the absolute sweetest and going above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were taken care of. Thanks to Jonathan (Coconut guy) for making us some delicious drinks in our coconuts on our last day. And of course a huge thank you to Tracy & Trisha who always kept our room clean and left us adorable notes. With their impeccable staff, amazing food & drinks and the love you feel at this resort, I hope to return soon!

Our honeymoon at Serenity was amazing! It was by the far the best resort vacation we've ever been on. The highlight was definitely the staff, who knew our names and treated us like royalty from day 1. Our butler Davidson was a phone call away and checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. He set up our schedule for the week, including excursions and dinner reservations, before we even arrived, so we didn't have to make any decisions. Our servers at the Greathouse restaurant were incredible, especially Ginel, who was so friendly and welcoming, and took amazing care of me with my food allergies. If you are gluten free and/or dairy free, you'll have plenty to eat (gluten free bread, pizza with vegan cheese, wraps, burgers, tacos, and even croissants!). Every meal was delicious - not your typical resort food. Ray was at the bar every day and made us amazing drinks. We loved the various nighttime events that the staff put on, from karaoke night to a rum tasting with Caribbean food stations and a fire show! A highlight of our trip was the beach cabana day, part of the Grand Romance package, which we highly recommend. We can't wait to go back!

Everything about this stay was incredible. All of the staff here from the butler to the dining staff to the “coconut man” were attentive, kind, and welcoming. The room here is stunning; there is truly nothing like a private pool and patio. The food was pretty good and having breakfast delivered every day was a convenient perk. We LOVED having dinner each night at the great house which had frequent live music. I can only hope to come back. The only tough part of the stay was the 2 hour wait in line at the airport for customs upon arrival. It was very very hot and crowded. But this has nothing to do with Serenity! Just something for travelers to be aware of!

My husband and I came to serenity for our honeymoon, and holy cow was it really trip of a lifetime! Honestly hands down one of the best vacations we have ever been on. We stayed for a total of 7 nights!! When we arrived we were greeted with fresh coconuts with rum and they were quite tasty and your butler showed you around property. The food and drinks all week were phenomenal, second only to the awesome, bubbly and personal staff everywhere we went at Serenity. I have a gluten allergy and the staff also when above and beyond to accommodate me! Major props to our butler McGregor! He really went above and beyond for us every single day. We got the grand romance package which we highly recommend and the really nice part was McGregor planned out the itinerary for us so we didn’t have to worry about it!! The drinks and food at Great House are REALLY good and love that you we loved the bartenders Ray, Charles, and Kevin! Highly recommended Serenity and we can’t wait to come back!!

The hotel is out of this world incredible! The staff are constantly offering a beverage, snack, cool towel or activity. They are friendly and communicative and generally the atmosphere is very chilled and happy. The water sports on offer are fantastic and there is a range of additional excursions that can be purchased and arranged by the hotel. The direct access to the beach is perfect and the sea is beautiful and warm. The resort is fairly small which gives it a relaxing intimate feel. No one rushes to reserve a table or fights you for sun loungers and towels (as has been my preconceived view of all inclusive hotels). Rendezvous is the perfect size resort for us on honeymoon with an intimate and luxury feel. Our room was small and practical but the balcony with a view across the gardens to the sea was absolutely amazing! We loved staying in this tropical paradise for 7 nights and would have stayed forever if we could! Beautiful location, the staff made the experience exceptional.

We had the pleasure of spending our honeymoon at Stolentime, and we truly couldn't recommend it enough! Stolentime is the ultimate destination for unwinding. To fully immerse yourself in the serene, laid-back atmosphere, I’d recommend staying at least 10 days. This allows you to properly adjust to "island time" and enjoy everything the resort has to offer. There was also a great variety of activities available each day, including excursions to the stunning Pitons. Whether you’re looking for adventure or simply want to relax, there’s something for everyone. The staff at Stolentime were incredibly personable and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. No request was too much.

We stayed here back in May and had an amazing time! If you are looking for an ultra modern party resort then this place isn’t for you. It’s quiet with just the right amount of activities. The staff are amazing and go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. Highly recommend!

We spent 2 weeks at Stolen Time in early May. It is the first time we have ever stayed at an all inclusive resort or a resort of any kind. We usually opt for 5* Hotels so quite a change for us. We were not dissapointed, within a day we had both relaxed and were in full Holiday switch off mode! The resort is beautiful, all the staff are fantastic, food was lovely and the beach absolutley perfect. As others have said the resort is quiet, but that is what we wanted so perfect. The [ools are lovely for a good swim but for me it was the beach and perfect sea that was the winner. We hired a car for 4 days to explore the island and explored the beautiful rain forest. We will return!!!
