The resort/location was absolutely gorgeous. The beach is beyond beautiful. Davita was our personal butler, and we cannot say enough about her. She made our vacation a once in a lifetime event! She was attentive to our every need. She greeted us every day with a smile on her face and cheerfulness that was contageous. She was amazing!!!!! Alison was an amazing chef. The private meal was superb and the intimate setting in the Italian restaurant they arranged for us was beyond our expectations. The entire service was excellent. I felt like a celebrity. A very special vacation and experience, one I will remember always!

Flames and Sparkle truly made our stay at Azul unforgettable. They brought amazing energy every single day. From the music to the fun dance classes right on the beach, they kept everyone smiling and moving. Amazing beach. Lovely pools. I wish the food had more variety. Food was probably a 3/5
Room was okay. Dated but okay. Bathroom equipment showed signs of rust. No hot water in the room we stayed in and also a few of the drinks in the mini fridge were expired.
Staff at the resort are more friendly to foreigners of a different skin color or who have an accent and that is unfortunate. There were a few persons from the buffet staff who were extremely friendly to us once they realized we were locals and made our experience better. Only one specialty restaurant is open at night plus the buffet.
Entertainment was good also. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this resort to locals. For this price better resorts can be found. But if you’re a visitor it will be the perfect resort for you.

Outstanding location on 7 mile beach. Water and beach couldn't be more accessible, calm, relaxing and beautiful. Resort offers plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and continuous food and drink service. Everyone at the resort is very friendly, courteous and helpful. Davita was our butler for the week and exceeded all expectations. She was always one step ahead of everything, while catering to our own needs and pace. It felt like she worked 24hrs a day and only for us.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Palladium, and while the resort itself was stunning, it was the food and catering staff who truly made our experience unforgettable. From the wide variety of delicious options to the thoughtful accommodations for dietary needs, every meal felt like it was made with care.
What stood out most was the exceptional leadership of Greg, who went above and beyond to ensure that the specific needs of my SEND child were not only met but exceeded. Greg took the time to understand our concerns and worked closely with his team to ensure we always had safe, nutritious, and delicious options available. His genuine care and attention to detail were evident in every interaction.
Thanks to Greg and the incredible catering staff, we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing that our child’s well-being was in good hands. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication made a huge difference for our family.
Thank you, Grand Palladium team—and especially Greg—for turning what could have been a source of stress into a highlight of our trip. We are truly grateful and can’t wait to return.

We were a party of 6 from the UK, staying at the grand palladium for two weeks. From start to finish the holiday was amazing. Check in and out was fast, the rooms were amazing and cleaned daily. The restaurants were easy to book into and the food was delicious, even the buffet was great, lots of variety.
The Pool was huge, the beaches beautiful, sunset cove was our favourite. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff, they work tirelessly with smiles on their faces, every single person from cleaners, waitresses, serving staff were kind, professional and chatty. I love their positive attitudes to life it’s inspiring. We will be returning to Jamaica in the future. Thank you for the most wonderful holiday.

Xmaica Jamaican Restaurant.
We had an amazing experience at this Jamaican restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious – the curry goat was rich, tender, and full of flavour, and the oxtail was perfectly cooked, falling off the bone with that deep, hearty taste you only get from a long, slow simmer. Every bite felt authentic and comforting.
What really made the evening special, though, was the service. Greg looked after us so well – friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made sure we had everything we needed and added to the overall atmosphere of the meal.

We recently stayed at Couples Turtle Isles and were absolutely blown away by the exceptional experience—this resort truly deserves every one of its five stars!
First and foremost, the housekeeping services were extraordinary. The meticulous attention to detail and consistent excellence set a new standard for hospitality. In fact, the housekeeping team’s dedication and high standards could serve as a global benchmark for how hotel housekeeping should be conducted.
A huge shout-out also goes to the executive chef, who went above and beyond to accommodate our special dietary requests, particularly our craving for breadfruit,. His thoughtfulness and culinary expertise made our stay even more delightful and memorable.
Additionally, the bellhop team deserves special mention. Their warmth, genuine hospitality, and eagerness to assist created a welcoming atmosphere right from the moment we arrived.
We also want to extend a special thanks to our wonderful driver who took us back to the airport at 7 AM on June 9. Though we unfortunately don’t remember his name, his amazing sense of humor, friendly demeanor, and safe driving made the typically tedious airport transfer exceptionally enjoyable and memorable.
The resort itself provided incredible entertainment and a unique, relaxing vibe that’s both chill and effortlessly cool. Couples Turtle Isles offers an experience you simply won’t find elsewhere—one that’s enjoyable, stress-free, and genuinely special.
We can’t wait to return!

Let start with the good things. Eight rivers restaurant is the best, food is amazing. There is definitely there is the hand of executive chef Valentin M. Staff need training, are few amazing and some they don't have a clue. Water Staff, helpful ,friendly, amazing team. Lovely place ,all together. But . If you forget to leave tips, your room will probably be done poorly. At the bar , grate yang funny team. I dislike the way SOME team leaders treat the staff or treat the customers, Asian restaurants need attention. Food is not what is named. In general, food is not what is named, good but rong named. Lovely location , is space for improvement on service, hospitality

This is a great resort for a getaway, it's peaceful and clean and has a lot to offer if you're one who likes activities. Even though I think the rooms are a bit dated, they are so clean and comfy I really doubt anyone would mind it. I had a deluxe ocean view on the forth building and the walk to and from there was really easy as it's a relatively small hotel. I'm definitely going to be going back as soon as I experience the other couple resorts.

Stayed here for seven nights in mid-January and have to say the place really grew on me and I would recommend, despite a number of shortfalls. It is a good two-hour drive from Kingston airport but the complimentary hotel transfer was seamless enough in a small mini bus, complete with decent reggae music along the way! Arriving late at night meant the introduction to the services wasn’t as great as I’d expect but they do offer a daily ‘orientation’ tour at 10am which is great to get you familiar with everywhere in the large complex.
Our room was on the fourth floor and down the side of the property. At first this felt a little ‘cut off’ but actually was really nice - there were still good ocean views from the balcony but it came with no noise from the pools or evening activities so was totally relaxing. It was a shame that the mini bar was empty on arrival, with no instructions on how to get it stocked, and indeed there was no guide to any of the services or facilities, so the morning orientation session is a must!
It was annoying there were no light switches next to the bed so you need to navigate from the door in the dark, not helped by the fact the bedside lamp was badly broken; some maintenance and touch-up in the room wouldn’t go amiss. It was also frustrating that the shower had really weak power and, while great at always returning throughout the day, housekeeping were very random with what they did - sometimes exchanging four towels for two, large with small etc.
However the main the room was great - really large and spacious, wonderful balcony with seating, effective air-conditioning and ceiling fan, loads of storage space, huge comfortable bed and everywhere really clean. Eventually we found there was a website where you could request the mini-bar to be stocked, as well as make restaurant reservations which was really handy; just a shame it wasn’t advertised better!
The variety of restaurants is great, although most require a reservation to be made. The buffet restaurant had small changes each day to try prevent it becoming repetitive and the food quality across them all was generally good. The various bars throughout the complex are fantastic - great staff, a huge menu and both premium and local spirits available.
There’s a couple of pools and both felt a little dirty as the day went on. There’s also no umbrellas for any of the loungers, so if you’re not a sun lover you need to be careful securing one of the few options in the shade, but otherwise there’s some good comfortable seating available. The swim-up bar is a real gem with wonderful service and a good amount of seating for the size of the pool.
There’s plenty of free activities on offer including various water sports. The glass bottom-boat trip was a nice highlight, giving a good overview of the local area as well as the sea life. Each day there’s also some form of activity on the beach or by the pools, but fortunately none of it is too intrusive and there’s never pressure to join in if you don’t want.
Overall if was a great hotel for a week of relaxation and I’d certainly consider staying again!

Just back from a week at Couples Tower Isle resort. Wonderful stay in paradise. Excellent experience from start to finish. The staff are outstanding and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.
Special thanks to Jada, activities coordinator, who gave us the grand tour of the property the day we arrived. I’ve worked in hospitality for over 30 years and I could tell right away that Jada is incredibly gifted at reading people. Her charm, charisma and dedication to making guests feel welcomed and valued really stood out. She is a shining star and has an amazing career ahead of her.
Fantastic week at a wonderful property with world class staff and food that was outstanding. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a memorable, romantic & laid back getaway

If your vacation vision involves a lush, intimate escape without the flash and fanfare of massive resorts, Sunset at the Palms delivers in style. The rooms are so cozy! No concrete jungle. The low-key, adults‑only vibe is amazing. It’s extremely quiet and peaceful and there is no poolside techno music. Which was greatly appreciated. A crossing guard helps guests reach the private beach club which is a short walk across the street. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The staff on the beach also did a great job of keeping the peddlers away.
Sunset at the Palms was a romantic, restful haven for us. We definitely preferred its serene Indo‑Caribbean charm over resort spectacle. It’s not the place for loud parties or all-night entertainment—but we valued its personalized service, delectable food, a swim‑up bar, and beachside bliss without crowds, you’ll love it.

If you want a small personal resort experience this is it! No concrete jungle here just 75 rooms and everything is very personal! The beach and pool are small but we always had covered seats on the beach and poolside seating was easy as well. Met great people both at the resort and the guests. The food was very good and whatever you wanted was was taken care of! It's not what people think of when "resort" comes to mind but it is one of the best weeks I've had in a long time!

We loved our stay at the Sunset at the Palms. The property is incredibly beautiful and well kept. There is ample security and you feel very safe while you are there. They arrange all transportation for you if you leave the resort, which we utilized a couple times. They had their drivers wait for us everywhere we went, and insured they knew when we were coming back as well. The food was outstanding. Since it’s a smaller resort with around 85 rooms, the staff and cooks are local and trained very well. They prepare very authentic food. It was delicious. I came back to America missing the food, I felt a lot healthier as well while I was there. Our treehut was adorable. We had an issue with the first room we were in, but they were quick to put us in a new room and gave us a bottle of champagne as well. It was the perfect location for our honeymoon. The private beach was awesome and so relaxing. We spent so much time in the water and laying on the chairs. This is one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!

We came here for our honeymoon, to spend 1 week after 1 week of travelling by car through Jamaica. We were hoping for somewhere relaxing, beautiful, calm, with good food and drinks, good beach experience and a comfortable hotel. We found that and more. A hotel is more than a place to stay and do things, I think a truly good hotel experience needs to be a an overall experience where you really feel detached from daily life. This is one of the best hotel experience we ever had, not because it was the fanciest or the biggest or with the best food offer, but because we felt so good there everyday and the overall experience was great.
Of all the good things, for us the best thing was the staff. They were all great, authentic, proactive, professional but warm and welcoming. They would even anticipate our needs, like one time a couple of cocktails were brought to us after we finished ours and didn’t need to ask. On the last day we went to say goodbye to Andrice who served us so well at the beach, and she gave us a Jamaica key ring. Truly a great experience that I find rare nowadays in Hotels.
Other great things, the food in the beach (I must have ordered the jerk chicken and onion rings like 10 times), the drinks (ask for Bananacolada with coconut rum at the pool!), the music (Piano Paul always rocking the piano), the BBQ night (such AMAZING ribs), the beach (no concrete mega structures, just the palm trees, nice safety guard, water without rocks and good mix of shade and sun) and the room (with a balcony with a duvet where one can lie down during a tropical rain).
We had never said we would return to a hotel, but this one will probably change that. We just know that when we want days on the Caribbean with good service, good beach and good food and drinks, this place will be there for us.

We absolutely love sunset at the Palms. My wife and I stayed at the resort March 2025. We found this resort to be utterly charming. Food was amazing and the staff were so hospitable and attentive to our every need. The grounds were immaculate! The bird song And tree frogs brought so much joy to our hearts. We stayed in the 700s section and it was pure bliss. We loved our room, especially the balcony with the daybed. We took more than one nap together outdoors, listening to the sounds of nature before dinner. The beach was amazing and the staff catered to every need. Food and drinks from the beachside bar were wonderful though, I would recommend Taking one day to go over to the Office of nature for their lobster, OMG!
Yes, there were a few vendors hawking their wears on the beach, but all it took was a simple no thank you and they left us alone. Love the buskers who came along and played live music to serenade us. Donovan is the best!
The bartenders were so friendly and professional. By all means be sure to catch Paul at the piano bar. Thanks again sunset at the Palms we’re already making plans for our return.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We did so many excursions right from the hotel. Swam with the dolphins, snorkeling, the kids went scuba diving and we did a sunset cruise for the adults. The food was delicious, the service was great and the drinks tasted great. We loved the crepe station. The rooms were nice and clean and we loved the smell of the lobby. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking. It was family friendly. We would definitely recommend!

If I could give Moon Palace Jamaica zero stars, I would! This is by far the worst resort I’ve ever stayed at. They advertise themselves as 5 stars, but I would rate them no higher than 2. The entire place feels like a money-grab operation with zero accountability.
The food was a major disappointment for the price. There are very few restaurants, and reservations are impossible to get, yet when you arrive, the dining rooms are half empty. Every restaurant we visited had run out of food, only for “suddenly available” dishes to appear once servers received extra cash.
I booked and paid for two deluxe junior suites with an ocean view directly through Palace Elite, but upon check-in, we were given cramped family rooms overlooking a rooftop covered in garbage. When I complained to Public Relations, I was told I should have said something before checking in, completely misleading since I only discovered the problem after arrival. They did nothing to change the rooms or apologize.
We bought into the membership over six years ago. Biggest mistake ever. They lure you in with promises of luxury, but in reality, the amenities, food, and service are rubbish. To make matters worse, they even blackmailed us, saying they would only change our rooms if we upgraded our membership. Absolutely disgusting behavior.
The most disturbing part of our stay was witnessing how staff prey on young girls. Anyone over 12 seemed to be treated as fair game for inappropriate attention. This is unacceptable. I do not recommend this resort, and I strongly advise parents not to leave their children unattended here, it is not safe. We experienced an incident where staff begged us not to report them. Very disturbing.
Avoid this resort if you value honesty, quality, and basic human decency.
One the other hand we have stayed at Sandals in Montego Bay a while back and we had a great experience!

The Moon Palace experience is always flawless for us and Jamaica is a favorite location because of its beautiful beaches, fabulous villas, and great tours. As long term members, we are lucky to have royal treatment each time. While understandable from a business perspective, keeping access open to non members can negatively impact the vibe, and is clearly also impacting the rankings. I feel lesser crowds lead to better experiences for members and staff as well. Maybe the mass production on busy weeks lead to stressed out crew members which leads to hit or miss attitudes by some staff though overall the staff is well trained and highly hospitable especially the butlers.

⚠️ Moon Palace Jamaica – From Honeymoon Paradise to Major Disappointment
I feel compelled to share this because I don’t want other families to go through what we did.
We first went to Moon Palace Jamaica 9 years ago for our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience. We loved it so much that we decided to return this year — this time bringing our child so we could share the special place with her.
Sadly, this return trip was nothing like the first. The resort has gone downhill:
• Rooms are outdated, the plumbing was bad, and our shower never got hot.
• Our room stayed hot and uncomfortable despite reporting it.
• Worst of all, $1,000 was stolen from our in-room safe — and we got no real resolution.
• Service was poor. Many times, no one wanted to wait on us — we had to get up and get our own drinks at the pool, yet staff were constantly walking around pushing us to buy excursions instead of providing actual service.
On top of this, we were pressured into attending a 2.5-hour “Vacation Club” presentation. We were promised resort credits, and I even told the host (Opal) that we already had a spa appointment booked. She told us to “make sure we used the credits” — but never mentioned that pre-booked spa services wouldn’t qualify. At checkout, we were blindsided and forced to pay nearly $600 out of pocket for the spa.
Customer service has refused to make it right, hiding behind “policy” instead of acknowledging their staff’s misleading statements.
And just for perspective: the membership they tried to sell us was quoted at $1.3 million, and even then, members still have to pay 40% of the room cost when visiting. Absolutely shocking.
Bottom line:
• Resort quality has gone downhill.
• Service is not what it used to be.
• Security is questionable — money stolen from our safe.
• Staff focus more on selling than serving.
• Their “presentation credits” are a trap.
We will never return to a Palace Resorts property, and I strongly caution others against booking here. What was once a beautiful honeymoon destination turned into a major disappointment.

I was expecting WAY more from this hotel. We arrived late due to the hotel being an hour and a half from the airport. Check in took almost an hour. The room was decent when we finally got in it but everything is so dated. The shower door was the worst, had to forcefully push it to close, and the faucet in the bathroom sink was so close to the bowl it was hard to do anything. The views from the balcony is mostly obstructed. You’re looking at the roofs of buildings before you see the pools and oceans. Service all around the resort was barely there, it’s like they hated coming to work, especially by the pool. We would often have to get out of the pool to get our own drinks and food. Drinks and Desserts were TERRIBLE, but it seems that’s across the board for All Inclusive’s nowadays. The cookies and cakes at the hallway market were the worst I’ve ever had. Other day. Room service took almost 1-2 hrs to get. The best food was the Hibachi, Indian (by the beach) and the buffet, surprisingly. The pools are all separated so get up early, find a seat and hope that you have a good spot. The spa was great minus the lady who walked us through everything seemed like she didn’t want to be there either. The one perk was the kids club and pool area that our family loves. Night entertainment was good as well Please take into consideration all the bad reviews and hopefully improve your resort. People hate wasting money while traveling!

Exceptional Stay – Beyond Our Expectations!
Our recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of maximum in terms of our experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was unmatched. The front desk staff who checked us in were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating, ensuring that every detail was taken care of so we could have the best time possible.

An incredible hotel. Came recently with my wife and honestly from the moment we arrived to the second we left we had an amazing time. The staff are all excellent, from the front desk to the multi talented entertainment team, the chefs to the cleaners everyone is just so helpful and friendly and made our stay so comfortable and memorable. The facilities are fantastic, brilliant restaurants, beautiful sea views, great pools and an all round vibe. One of those resorts I most certainly will return to someday.

From the moment we got to the property it was the beginning of an amazing vacation. The staff was engaging and welcoming. They greeted us with "welcome home" and made us feel at home.
If you are looking for relaxation with your spouse you will find it here and don't need to leave the resort.
Most of the staff are the friendliest we've encountered. I say most because there is always one person who is having a bad day.
We will definitely come back and spend more time at this fabulous resort.

We went here for our holiday this year and omggg. I'm sooo happy we did, it was also my birthday as well so we did it up. Jamaica is amazing, the food, the people and this hotel was absolutely fantastic, it had everything you can think of. The restaurant were all good, very clean. They definitely go above and beyond. The room service, the house keepers, the bartenders and the entertainment was all excellent. I will definitely be back.

Good things: water was beautiful, the room was good. The food was really good (when the restaurants were open) the kettle drum show was excellent!
Bad things: the staff made if very clear they do NOT LIKE tourists. In fact we caught the staff a few different times making fun of people, it got so bad my husband actually called them out on it. The shops are rarely open if ever. And your never sure which restaurant was open because every night one of them is closed. But if you do get to eat the food is really good, the buffet was excellent. Don't bother bringing a lot of tip money because the staff could really care less about tips. The resort itself needs some work as well, Secrets has really gone downhill. Jamaica is definitely not what it used to be (was there 18 years ago)will never go back.

I enjoyed my time at couples swept away except for a few things.
Positives:
The location was very nice, I really enjoyed being able to walk right on the long strip of the beach every single day. The food availability of food at almost all hours was great, I never felt rushed to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The health and wellness center was also great. A lot of equipment to choose from at the gym and many other athletic options to choose from.
Negatives:
The lack of lighting in the room. The only working lights in our room was the overhead lights on the bathroom vanity and the bedroom vanity. (and entrance/hallway). The bedside lights never worked and when we asked for it be resolved, nothing happened.
The bathroom needed some obvious upgrading but it looks like they are in the process of doing that in some of the buildings. Our iron was also broken and leaking water (all over the suite that needed to be worn in a few hours) but they were able to replace that within 30 minutes.
I'm also curious about the privacy of some of these rooms, the first room we had, all 3 walls facing the outside had shutters that you would need to open since there was little to no lights in the room.
Overall I'm not sure if I would stay here again (not soon anyway) since it looks like they are in the process of doing some updates on the resort. Hopefully these issues are taken into consideration because I think it is a beautiful resort and the location is excellent as well.

JUST OKAY, EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET....... Overall it was just okay. My husband and I visited Couples Swept Away for our 3 year wedding anniversary. We are both in our mid 20s (definitely the youngest couple there) and were looking for a good mix of romance, relaxation, and fun. There were some things we liked but a lot more that we didn't.
Food: Food matters A LOT to us, so to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We thought the buffet options were limited and average at best. Plated dinners were better but required a reservation. Being at a Jamaican all-inclusive resort, we thought that meant access to unlimited beef patties, but nope. With 4 spots to eat on the resort, there was only 1 location that served beef/ chicken patties. The restaurant’s listed opening time was 12pm, but if you were not hanging around to see when the staff started taking orders (~11am), you were not getting a patty until the next day.
Weather: We visited first week of July, allegedly not the rainy season. I know that you can’t control the weather but it rained every single day around 1pm and didn’t stop until around 5pm which significantly cut quality beach time. Temps were high 80s and nice other than the seemingly constant and scheduled rain. Heavy rain clouds were always looming.
Beach: Beautiful, very clean, no trash, no seaweed. Vendors heckled until day 3. It was quiet most of the time except for construction on a beachfront unit and power washing of the walkways. There were NEVER clean towels available, you had to bring them from your room. The chairs were dirty and old. There were only a few umbrellas to sit under and they were quickly taken.
Room: Our room was clean and ready for us, we did not have to wait to check in. The room was serviced almost every time we left (2x/day). We always had clean towels, bed made, and a full water pitcher. The water pressure in both the shower and sink was very weak and made showering, washing hands, and washing hair very difficult and time consuming. Shower has no door and entire floor gets wet with each shower.
Amenities: Spa was great 10/10, we got the couples massage. Since it rained every single day, we were looking for things to do indoors but indoor activities were lacking. Racquetball courts were closed for renovation and squash ball equipment did not work. Only option was to have another mid meal... The evening events were “dinner and a show” format, usually a singer or a band. One night there was a bonfire on the beach but we didn't attend because of the mosquitos. Night activities included karaoke and dance parties but with the average couple’s age being 45+, my husband and I found it pretty awkward. This is definitely not a party resort. Pools closed at 10pm.
Staff: Everyone was amazing. Very friendly and attentive always.
Do we regret visiting Jamaica? No, but would we stay at Couples Swept Away again? Also no. We feel as though our money would have gone a lot further at a comparable all-inclusive in Cancun.

My wife and I had a wonderful time! The beach was beautiful and had very few people on it making the beach almost feel like your own. Restaurants were on point and food was great. Loved the rooms and how they're tucked away in what feels like a forest !

Me and my wife enjoyed are stay it was nice to get away from work and enjoy some quality time together.
Pros - comfortable atmosphere and welcoming staff.
Cons- rooms outdated with terrible lighting in the bathrooms, the restaurant Feathers had and mold smell when we walked in and the food at this restaurant was ok. Bugs were present in are room on more the one occasion. Our room was right by the road we heard loud excessive noises throughout the night.

Room- Ok nothing special, clean comfortable bed. Very dated.
Staff- Mostly friendly, especially if you tip them. (Even though it’s meant to be a tip free hotel.) Special mention to Al-Jay down at the swim up bar who is particularly rude to the English guests and won’t even speak to us.
Food and Drinks- Fantastic range of drinks and beautiful cooked food. Particularly enjoyed the Jerk Chicken and the breakfast buffet.
Entertainment - Very good standard, the resident band are brilliant especially when you’re stoned.
Water sports - Good selection to keep you entertained. King Julian and his snorkelling trips are excellent. 🐠
Pools - Nice but not the cleanest.
Beach - Absolutely beautiful, just wish the vendors would leave me to enjoy it in peace.
Sports Complex - Everything you need for a decent workout.
I should also mention that some staff at the hotel are constantly asking guests for money and we were approached a few times by staff asking if we go get them jerk or food from the all inclusive buffet. I feel like this is a problem with the hotel management not paying and feeding them well enough.

The property and resort is nice, although we weren't blown away or impressed above our expectations. The food is delicious, however there are some that I would avoid, such as El Patio. The a la carte dinners also took a long time, up to 2 hours if you also have dessert, which lead to long wait times if you don't arrive close to opening at 6:00. The app was also not accurate, listing hours for each restaurant, which changed our plans more than once when we arrived to a closed restaurant. Room service was quite slow at times, so we only ordered breakfast which was more prompt. The very large size of the resort (combining 3 resorts) seems to be a challenge from a service and maintenance aspect. The pool area was clean. Although the beach/ocean had a high amount of sargassum, it was still swimmable. The ocean only gets around 3-5ft deep up to the buoys. Lots of beach chairs available. Pool chairs were more limited.
This is the 2nd Secrets we have stayed at, and Secrets Cap Cana was a more impressive resort to us, and left us expecting more from Wild Orchid.
Overall, this is a good resort worth going to and we had a great time, but unless it is your first time at an all inclusive, you should adjust your expectations.

In general would give this resort a 3.5 out of 5. They desperately need to remodel and upgrade their rooms, pool, restaurants décor etc. The hospitality was not always good, a lot of times the women would give a lot of attitude and make it seem like getting our requests were such a pain to them. Our toilet was clogged one of the nights just because they didn't work well enough. I had to call front desk 3 times with a wait of over an hour, no one came. I had to go down to front desk and demand maintenance to ride in the elevator with me to fix the issue. A few days later when we were making a reservation to a restaurant the hostess was oh room # XXX you guys had the toilet complaint - EXCUSE ME? First of very unprofessional you would bring that up at dinner, secondly it wasn't my fault maintenance was not doing their job and I had to yell at them to do so.
The food was really good however, the wait for receiving your food was sometimes over an hour. The hibachi experience was one of our top memories - definitely recommend. The coffee shop had great coffee and the women there were very nice there. The beach area was great, beautiful, calm waves with amazing sunset.
In general I do not think the cost for this resort was worth what we got

I wanted to share some feedback regarding our current stay at your resort. While we were very much looking forward to this trip – especially as we’re celebrating our belated honeymoon – unfortunately, our experience so far has been underwhelming and disappointing in a number of ways.
We arrived at the resort at 10:30 AM and were informed that check-in would be at 3 PM, which we fully understand. However, the resort didn’t appear to be particularly busy, so we were hopeful that our room might be ready a little earlier. Despite checking in with the staff multiple times throughout the day, we were not able to access our room until 3:20 PM.
Once in the room, we found it to be nice overall, but the “ocean front” view was not what we expected. Our room is located in the corner with a peeling wall immediately to the right, which significantly detracts from the view and ambiance.
There have also been several maintenance issues:
• The air conditioning won’t cool below 20°C, hovering instead between 21.5–23°C.
• The coffee maker doesn’t work at all.
• The mini-fridge stopped working altogether.
I’ve attempted to call the front desk multiple times, and after finally getting someone, I was transferred to another line that went unanswered.
Additionally, we’ve noticed that many of the restaurants and shared spaces like the lobby and elevators lack proper air conditioning, making it uncomfortably warm throughout the resort. While the food so far has been pretty good, the service has been quite slow.
At check-in, we were asked if we were celebrating anything special, and we mentioned that this trip is our belated honeymoon. The staff member asked if this had been noted on our booking – which it had, via our travel agent – but we’ve received no acknowledgment or effort from the resort to make the occasion feel special. No champagne, no romantic touches in the room, not even a simple welcome note.
By contrast, during my previous honeymoon at Sandals Grenada, they went above and beyond – with room upgrades, floral arrangements, towel art, and attentive service that really made the trip memorable. Unfortunately, this stay with Secrets has fallen short in comparison, and as it stands, we likely wouldn’t choose to book with this brand again in the future.
We’re here until Friday and hope that things may improve in the meantime. I felt it was important to share this feedback in hopes that it can be addressed while we’re still on the property.

Lisa and Davin were great at check in. Kenny and Duran are the BEST butlers on this side of heaven. And Nickiesha and Tanesha with Amstar deserve flowers for how hard they rectified a problem for us.
I don’t know if I’ll recommend this resort as I am a tough critic on food and drink and this resort needs some upgrade in quality. Best restaurant was the hibachi but idk guys, I feel like I woke up with knots in my stomach every day after that. Service was great though, everyone was kind and attentive. And again, Kenroy and Duran!!!! They would have something ready for us before we even asked. It’s amazing that 2 people can work together so well and treat us like the only girls in the world. I miss those two dearly already!
It was my cousin’s birthday and Kenroy and Duran treated her like royalty all day and secretly decorated for her while we were gone.
Pools were nice and beach access on the other side of your swim up room was great, too! Can’t promise I’ll be back but if I do, it’ll definitely be as a preferred member again! Thank you all for everything!

Positives: beautiful location. I mean stunning.
Negative: ROACH INFESTED!!! Roaches in the rooms, in the restaurants. Had a roach in my room and they didn’t pick it up for 2 days. Had to complain multiple times just to get the floors mopped properly. My family saw roaches fly onto one of the cooks who dropped everything and started screaming. My sister had a roach fly in her hair and the waiter picked it off her head and lied to her saying it wasn’t a roach when everyone saw it. Saw roaches in the day time crawling around the blue mountain restaurant. Place is crawling with roaches!!!!!!!!! Worst part is they tried to make me sign a non-disclosure agreement so that I couldn’t write a review or file a suit in exchange for $100 room credit and some Hyatt rewards points. Told them I wouldn’t be signing my life away for some cheap points and credit.

My husband and I had never been to Jamaica before and we absolutely LOVED the resort and staff. We met other amazing couples from all over the states who had been coming back to the resort year after year and offered lots of insight!
The food at each of the restaurants was great. Well seasoned and authentic. The staff were attentive and efficient.
We decided to do a Garden room and that did not disappoint. The view was lovely and serene. The room was clean and always stocked. The house keepers made sure you always had what you needed without asking.
The pool was a perfect temperature and the swim up bar was always fully stocked!
Of course I can’t forget to compliment how clean the beach was! It was beautiful and well kept. Clear water and nothing but sand!

We had a wonderful stay at Couples Negril and would definitely recommend it, especially as a honeymoon destination. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and set on one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever experienced. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking every evening — a true highlight of our trip.
The food was good overall, with plenty of variety and flavorful dishes throughout the restaurants and bars. The service at the restaurants was generally decent, but there were times when some of the wait staff seemed uninterested or not very engaged, which took away from the experience a bit.
One of our favorite parts of the stay was waking up early and heading to the beach — not just for the calm, crystal-clear water, but also for the marine life! If you go out into the water in the morning, you’ll often see stingrays, crabs, and lots of fish swimming near the shore. It was such a fun and unexpected surprise that made our mornings extra special.
Unfortunately, we did have one unpleasant moment during our stay — when we returned to our room after dinner one night, we found a cockroach on the bed. It was definitely gross and not something you ever want to deal with while on vacation. That said, housekeeping came quickly, changed the sheets, and handled the situation well.
Despite that one issue, we still had an incredible time. The beach alone is enough to make us want to return. The vibe is romantic and relaxed, the scenery is unforgettable, and it’s a perfect place for a honeymoon or couples getaway. We would absolutely come back.

Beach location is excellent and very private. All hotel amenities are a short walk away. We got a great room with a really nice ocean view. Hotel has a lot of include activities, like the catamaran ride and snorkeling boat. Scuba diving is also available free of charge for certified divers. They go on two boat dives per day. You’ll probably need the advanced open water cert to go to the nicer spots.
Drinks were subpar unfortunately. They don’t really know how to prepare a lot of them. Food quality is good, but available selection is poor. Was really disappointed to see the main buffet become a la carte restaurant of several days, with an even more limited selection. Also tried to get two sides and server got mad (I had never seen anything like this in an AI resort). I really liked the small and hidden coffee shop behind the lobby stairs. My wife also had a great experience and the spa.

Wonderful staff and amazing location. Food was good. Drinks watered down, as expected. As for the activities not included in the all inclusive offer, like the spa or scuba diving, ridiculous rip-off prices! The free airport shuttle is a whole different story! This is how you start your experience at Couples Resorts. We had to cough up tips before even being let on the shuttle bus! The porter then even stated that you should remember to make it enough for two porters! They make more in a hour than most professionals! Would I go here again? No.

Beautiful resort with a beautiful beach. Staff were friendly, food was great with good selections, drinks were great also. Our only complaint was that we didn’t book a longer stay, six days were not enough. Plan to return next year!!

I had an amazing weekend here. I’ve been to a number of hotels and I can say by far the best service I’ve received. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing. The room was nicely decorated for my partner’s birthday and I can’t find any faults with anything! Definitely will be visiting again.

Amazing all inclusive experience here! We stayed the end of June and it wasn't crowded at all. Everyone was so kind and remembered our names and there was lots of activities, events, and excursions to chose from. Next time we will definitely have to stay longer than this 6 night trip. Highly recommended!!! My husband and I had the best time at this resort. Exquisite service from everyone we had the pleasure of meeting. The grounds are out-of-this-world beautiful and great for strolling around. The rooms are spacious and clean and the food (we ate at all of the restaurants) is excellent! We booked a couples massage with Simone and Jackie and both women were true masters of their craft, in addition to being so lovely and welcoming. We were sad to leave and can't wait to go back again next year.

Staff changes happen- so you really can't go by 1 person's experience. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I would have given it 6 stars with the exception of the food. The food has been mediocre this year. This is my 3rd time coming to this resort- I don't know if they just have some key kitchen staff on vacation, or they are training some new ones. But this time/ this year - it's not cutting it.

Awesome place to be if you just want to relax without worries ( this is what sans soucis means). The rooms are very generous size wise. The vegetation is lustig. The food is excellent! They even have a well equipped gym. Loved it there!

Great resort, would be 5 stars were it not for the string mold smell up on entering rooms. There has to be a way to remedy this as the resort is newer. I definitely enjoyed the access to Secrets restaurants and beaches and was treated like Secrets royalty. Would come again but would love for them to do something about mold smell. JANICE in the spa was awesome, special about Shout to her, such a pleasure. We enjoyed the stay and pool parties and drinks..staff very friendly and attentive. Fun trip.

Alistair is the the Best bartender on the whole resort! He’s promptness and his personality is so refreshing!! We hung out with him our whole vacation upstairs at Altitudes! We had so much fun meeting him and invited him to come to our home in Florida! He’s a good man and we wish him a very prosperous life! He definitely deserves the best life can offer him! We’ve been here 3 times in the past 7 years! He’s the Best! Make sure to look for him as your Best Bartender on the Resort!!

If you’re coming to Jamaica this is the place to stay. I am shocked by how friendly the staff is. 24 hour room service endless vibes and delicious food. Connected to secrets resort and offering more dinning options there as well. Pool parties and daily activities are available. This place is so amazing we did not even have to leave the resort because there is so much to do here. Would give 10 stars if possible

We received excellent service at this resort. The customer service is outstanding 10 out of 10. We had the butler service and we also ran into some really great waiters. One of the best was Donatello at altitude restaurant and at breathless breakfast buffet so awesome. We will be back just for Donatello and our great Butler service Raynard and Craig also so caring! We are grateful we booked here…. The blue Mountain restaurant has authentic Jamaican food, and it was amazing as well

The room was nice however we had an issue with plumbing. We had no hot water.
For breathless to be the “exclusive” side (secrets is connected and within a 5 min walk) all of the amenities are on the secrets side.
A lot of things went wrong at this resort including the breakfast in bed I ordered (extra $200) not only not coming on time but was the wrong order. Dinner on the beach was missed as we were not told it’s a 20min walk and our bullet was MIA (that was an additional $400). The spa was a nice experience but again.. it’s on the secrets resort side as well as the beach and cabanas that you cannot order food from. I would never recommend Breathless. Just stay on the Secrets Resort side.
PS. Breathless actually serves drink, drinks and the Secrets side drinks are more like juice. Drink responsibly 😎

Best hotel I've ever stayed at! Super friendly staff that made you feel like family. Very welcoming and inviting. They all introduced themselves to us and always remembered our names. I will of course recommend this to anyone who comes to visit Ocho Rios. The amenities were amazing as well. from the nightly dessert selections placed in our room, the paddle boards kayaks and sailboats, there were just so many fun things to enjoy. we were also able to stay for the Tuesday night meet and greet with all the staff and managers and an open bar, and then a very lovely dinner on the beach in a buffet format. There was also Thursday movie night which had a nice James Bond movie displayed on a large projector out on the beach. overall, if I could give this higher than five stars I would! It was the best resort I've ever stayed and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The purest definition of “disconnect”. With no televisions in the rooms, you are guaranteed to reconnect with nature, the sea, yourself and your partner if you bring one. Singles are certainly comfortable here as well!
Classic and authentic in nature and decor, it feels like you’ve taken a step back in time to when things were “simple” and “unpolluted”.
Let’s just say, I happy we made it apart of our “mini-moon” trip! Perfect for decompressing from the busiest of the wedding.

I must say this place is absolutely perfect!! Not a single complaint. The wife and I are frequent travelers. We travel several times a year. I will have to say that this place is by far the best place we have ever stayed. We have stayed at huge all inclusives and luxury villas. But this place trumps all of them. We love how small and private it is. (Which explains why so many celebrities choose to stay here) The rooms are very clean with stunning views. The service is excellent. Staff know privacy and space. They don’t overwhelm you but are very attentive. Once you choose a place to relax on the beach and go for a swim, within minutes they set up your chairs with towels and linen. The food was delicious . The waiters know how to properly seat people with privacy and space in mind. All the staff are clean and professional. They have a beautiful sweet Labrador named Shadow that spends all day on the property and knows basic commands and loves to swim and fetch. Fun fact: Shadow is their 5th generation pet! You can grab her leash and hang out with her for as long as you like. She’s super sweet. I met one of the owners and he was very approachable and was very attentive of your needs. The wife and I have been looking for a place where we can come to every 6 months for 5 days to reboot since our business is so demanding. We found it!!! I am super excited to become a familiar face and establish great relationships with the staffs. The Morrows Family has owned this place since the 50’s and you can tell what their vision is. To be a place of privacy, safety and most of all relaxation. I highly recommend this place. I am now a regular customer at The Jamaica Inn. Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful experience. See you in 6 months!!!

Favorite place in the world. I have been coming for 13 years now and although the dear people I met there are no longer with us, the memories will never end. Impossible to mention all the things I love about Jamaica Inn, here are just a few: « Welcome home » greeting upon coming in, veranda suite which feels like home, opening the shutters first thing in the morning to the beautiful light, walking barefoot across the lawn to the sandy beach to the warm water, « Blue mountain » coffee in the morning, afternoon tea, cocktail on the terrace under the stars with the sound of tree frogs… it’s the place where my soul feels at home and longs to be back. The only thing I wish for is the time-share option, so I could spend 2-3 months a year there 🤗

Great location. Very private and quiet resort. Granted we were here during low occupancy period with just 15 or so couples. No kids while we were there. Plenty activities. Great food. Very “old school” decadent hotel in a very good way. Owners are on the property to tend to any issues or needs. Looking forward to be back!

I stayed in this hotel resort recently. Loved it. Great staff. Very kind and attentive. No exceptions. It was a great facility. It was very charming. Felt like stepping back in time with very classic island decor. I heard that it was decorated by Ralph Lauren and I absolutely believe this to be true. Food was amazing. Staffed with Michelin star chefs. Shows every night. Beautiful beach, pool and water sports. Not the sort of place you go if you want to be rowdy.

The Villa was spectacular, the food was good, but not great, service was very good, but staff was actually too intrusive. The point of a villa is privacy, yet they wouod just walk on the grounds and into the villa constantly, it was ridiculous. But most importantly, and the reason I took a star off, was they listed a couples massage as $300, then charged $300 per person. As someone who has had countless massages, I have NEVER had that happen. It was truly outrageous.

All around amazing experience at Round Hill. The property is beautiful, timeless and pristine. The beach is perfect and the staff was fantastic. Special shout outs to Colleen, Shashana and the kitchen crew at Villa 10. They took great care of us, made breakfast an experience and kept the vibes high every morning. Also Bunny the groundskeeper at Villa 10 is an artist. Pristine property.
Owen on the bell staff was very kind and helpful and went out of his way to help us rent a guitar for the weekend.
Gavin was great on the concierge staff.
We also did a catamaran adventure one day. Thanks to Captain Sardine and his very fun crew. Shout out to Kenroy for guiding the snorkeling adventure and making it very memorable!
