Ortega at xaymaica was a fantastic server. Very polite and very mindful or our needs, a bit slow with our drinks but that may not have been his fault. Very personable guy and knows how to talk to his guests. The food was a 10/10 and the bartender made us a fantastic signature cocktail that she recommended. Out of all the restaurants in this resort I’d be most inclined to come back to this one for sure. Great experience

Ate dinner at the buffet tonight for the first time. The evenings have a theme to theme and tonight was Asian night. There was a beautiful spread of seafood on the salad buffet with giant mussels, prawns, scallops, and clams. They were amazing!! The Asian food was good. Grilled tuna with variety of types of oils was really delicious. Our server Anastasia was very lively. She was very attentive and super sweet. Great evening!

Just enjoyed the delicious chicken cordon blue at the Poseidon restaurant cooked by the amazing chef Allen and served by our lovely friendly waitress Melissa Rose. Eaten at this restaurant three times, two lunches and a dinner and always lovely tasty food with probably the most exceptional service in the hotel. Delicious wine too. Had to wait a short while today but completely well worth the wait and what’s the rush anyway when we’re on holiday?

We had such an incredible hibachi dinner experience! Our chef, Ricardo was absolutely amazing, there wasn’t a single dull moment the entire time. He kept everyone engaged and entertained with great energy and humour. On top of the fun, the food was absolutely spectacular, cooked to perfection with so much flavour. It was the perfect mix of entertainment and an outstanding meal. I would 100% recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable dinner whilst at the resort.

Dinner and service were phenomenal. Everyone was friendly and the environment was warm and welcoming. Our waitress Sashe Nash was super amazing very attentive and so helpful with all of our needs overall this has been the best experience had while being on this resort for 6days.

We have been to this resort multiple times, the staff is wonderful as always! They are always willing to help with whatever needs you may have. The issues that are really upsetting are the cut of staff, causing many events and resturants to be closed. This resort boasts its many restaurants and we end up in a buffet line.......I'm expecting a certain level of vacation for the money payed. When I walk over to the buffet.. I almost loose a toe due to the decking literally disintegrating. Wich is another issue, I mainly point blame to the hotel not spending money to upkeep the facilities. I say this because the shrubbery, the beach, the grass everything that the workers "can" maintain looks excellent. Large items like the decking, fixing rot areas on the hotel room exteriors. Another issue is fresh fruit is scarce, alcohol items and mixers are limited. On top of all of this I used this vacation to show my mother Jamaica for the fist time. Overall the staff is amazing but the decline of the all of the other things make me rethink where we will spend our next vacation.

Amazing beach. Lovely pools. I wish the food had more variety. Food was probably a 3/5
Room was okay. Dated but okay. Bathroom equipment showed signs of rust. No hot water in the room we stayed in and also a few of the drinks in the mini fridge were expired.
Staff at the resort are more friendly to foreigners of a different skin color or who have an accent and that is unfortunate. There were a few persons from the buffet staff who were extremely friendly to us once they realized we were locals and made our experience better. Only one specialty restaurant is open at night plus the buffet.
Entertainment was good also. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this resort to locals. For this price better resorts can be found. But if you’re a visitor it will be the perfect resort for you.

The resort/location was absolutely gorgeous. The beach is beyond beautiful. Davita was our personal butler, and we cannot say enough about her. She made our vacation a once in a lifetime event! She was attentive to our every need. She greeted us every day with a smile on her face and cheerfulness that was contageous. She was amazing!!!!! Alison was an amazing chef. The private meal was superb and the intimate setting in the Italian restaurant they arranged for us was beyond our expectations. The entire service was excellent. I felt like a celebrity. A very special vacation and experience, one I will remember always!

Beautiful experience at the resort. The staff was extremely friendly . The beach is absolutely stunning. You will not be disappointed. Come with friends to make the trip extra fun.
The rooms need some updating. Our air conditioning did not cool past 74 degrees F. Too hot for summer. Also the tv speakers were blown out, the locks on the sliding balcony doors were broken and wouldn’t seal, and the water pressure and temperature were wonky.
They need to work on the restaurant rotation. Too many meals served from the buffet restaurant. On a long stay this gets old very fast. More kid friendly options like Mac and cheese, chicken tenders, etc… should be added to the menus. Room service options are not good. These need to be redone.
Come for the beach and the staff. It’s great.

Beach is stunning and sunset is amazing. Thanks to our butler Davita's hospitality and made our trip more memorable. Some staff are pretty nice, but some are not as friendly which caused an unpleasant experience during our vacation. The food is the worst out of all the Karisma resorts we've been to, only two restaurants open for dinner and very limited varieties.

If your vacation vision involves a lush, intimate escape without the flash and fanfare of massive resorts, Sunset at the Palms delivers in style. The rooms are so cozy! No concrete jungle. The low-key, adults‑only vibe is amazing. It’s extremely quiet and peaceful and there is no poolside techno music. Which was greatly appreciated. A crossing guard helps guests reach the private beach club which is a short walk across the street. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The staff on the beach also did a great job of keeping the peddlers away.
Sunset at the Palms was a romantic, restful haven for us. We definitely preferred its serene Indo‑Caribbean charm over resort spectacle. It’s not the place for loud parties or all-night entertainment—but we valued its personalized service, delectable food, a swim‑up bar, and beachside bliss without crowds, you’ll love it.

If you want a small personal resort experience this is it! No concrete jungle here just 75 rooms and everything is very personal! The beach and pool are small but we always had covered seats on the beach and poolside seating was easy as well. Met great people both at the resort and the guests. The food was very good and whatever you wanted was was taken care of! It's not what people think of when "resort" comes to mind but it is one of the best weeks I've had in a long time!

We loved our stay at the Sunset at the Palms. The property is incredibly beautiful and well kept. There is ample security and you feel very safe while you are there. They arrange all transportation for you if you leave the resort, which we utilized a couple times. They had their drivers wait for us everywhere we went, and insured they knew when we were coming back as well. The food was outstanding. Since it’s a smaller resort with around 85 rooms, the staff and cooks are local and trained very well. They prepare very authentic food. It was delicious. I came back to America missing the food, I felt a lot healthier as well while I was there. Our treehut was adorable. We had an issue with the first room we were in, but they were quick to put us in a new room and gave us a bottle of champagne as well. It was the perfect location for our honeymoon. The private beach was awesome and so relaxing. We spent so much time in the water and laying on the chairs. This is one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!

A Slice of Paradise!
Sunset at the Palms Resort exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome—absolutely excellent service all around. The tropical atmosphere is stunning and so unique, it truly feels like you’re in your own private paradise. The food was delicious, and every detail of our stay was just perfect. We met some amazing people during our time there, which made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for the perfect place to relax, unwind, and soak in a gorgeous beach with breathtaking sunsets, this is it. I can’t recommend it highly enough, and I hope to return very soon!

We recently stayed at Couples Turtle Isles and were absolutely blown away by the exceptional experience—this resort truly deserves every one of its five stars!
First and foremost, the housekeeping services were extraordinary. The meticulous attention to detail and consistent excellence set a new standard for hospitality. In fact, the housekeeping team’s dedication and high standards could serve as a global benchmark for how hotel housekeeping should be conducted.
A huge shout-out also goes to the executive chef, who went above and beyond to accommodate our special dietary requests, particularly our craving for breadfruit,. His thoughtfulness and culinary expertise made our stay even more delightful and memorable.
Additionally, the bellhop team deserves special mention. Their warmth, genuine hospitality, and eagerness to assist created a welcoming atmosphere right from the moment we arrived.
We also want to extend a special thanks to our wonderful driver who took us back to the airport at 7 AM on June 9. Though we unfortunately don’t remember his name, his amazing sense of humor, friendly demeanor, and safe driving made the typically tedious airport transfer exceptionally enjoyable and memorable.
The resort itself provided incredible entertainment and a unique, relaxing vibe that’s both chill and effortlessly cool. Couples Turtle Isles offers an experience you simply won’t find elsewhere—one that’s enjoyable, stress-free, and genuinely special.
We can’t wait to return!

This is a great resort for a getaway, it's peaceful and clean and has a lot to offer if you're one who likes activities. Even though I think the rooms are a bit dated, they are so clean and comfy I really doubt anyone would mind it. I had a deluxe ocean view on the forth building and the walk to and from there was really easy as it's a relatively small hotel. I'm definitely going to be going back as soon as I experience the other couple resorts.

Let start with the good things. Eight rivers restaurant is the best, food is amazing. There is definitely there is the hand of executive chef Valentin M. Staff need training, are few amazing and some they don't have a clue. Water Staff, helpful ,friendly, amazing team. Lovely place ,all together. But . If you forget to leave tips, your room will probably be done poorly. At the bar , grate yang funny team. I dislike the way SOME team leaders treat the staff or treat the customers, Asian restaurants need attention. Food is not what is named. In general, food is not what is named, good but rong named. Just back from a week at Couples Tower Isle resort. Wonderful stay in paradise. Excellent experience from start to finish. The staff are outstanding and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.
Special thanks to Jada, activities coordinator, who gave us the grand tour of the property the day we arrived. I’ve worked in hospitality for over 30 years and I could tell right away that Jada is incredibly gifted at reading people. Her charm, charisma and dedication to making guests feel welcomed and valued really stood out. She is a shining star and has an amazing career ahead of her.

We checked in on July 28th it was as fantastic experience check in was quick and easy received complementary drinks we honestly didn’t know what to expect as the price was incredible almost to good to be true but all I can say is wow from the food to the service to the cleanliness everything was exceptional. People where great always pool chairs drinks where great and it was one of the most relaxing experiences of our lives definitely will return best vacation in last 15 years if there was one thing that it could have is umbrella by the pools even tho the trees provide shade

I enjoyed my time at couples swept away except for a few things.
Positives:
The location was very nice, I really enjoyed being able to walk right on the long strip of the beach every single day. The food availability of food at almost all hours was great, I never felt rushed to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The health and wellness center was also great. A lot of equipment to choose from at the gym and many other athletic options to choose from.
Negatives:
The lack of lighting in the room. The only working lights in our room was the overhead lights on the bathroom vanity and the bedroom vanity. (and entrance/hallway). The bedside lights never worked and when we asked for it be resolved, nothing happened.
The bathroom needed some obvious upgrading but it looks like they are in the process of doing that in some of the buildings. Our iron was also broken and leaking water (all over the suite that needed to be worn in a few hours) but they were able to replace that within 30 minutes.
I'm also curious about the privacy of some of these rooms, the first room we had, all 3 walls facing the outside had shutters that you would need to open since there was little to no lights in the room.
Overall I'm not sure if I would stay here again (not soon anyway) since it looks like they are in the process of doing some updates on the resort. Hopefully these issues are taken into consideration because I think it is a beautiful resort and the location is excellent as well.

Great place with a beautiful beach and some great included water activities. The food overall was just ok and could sometimes be pretty limited in terms of options. The fine dining restaurants were better but have to get reservations which fill up quickly. Getting drinks can sometimes be a pain too, not all bars were open and some can have pretty limited options. Overall we had a nice stay and recommend it but could definitely be improved in certain areas.

This is my second time visiting Couples Swept Away—my first was in November 2019—and I can honestly say I wouldn’t place any other resort or island before it. The employees go above and beyond to make every moment memorable.
This morning, as we enjoyed breakfast, the sound of the piano filled the air with the most relaxing and beautiful songs. It’s those little touches that make this place feel so special.
I truly love it here, and the only regret I have is that I’m staying for just one week. If there really is a paradise, I hope it looks exactly like this.

I stayed at Moon Palace to celebrate my 40th birthday with 7 other people, and overall, I was very disappointed. The first day felt like a complete waste, arriving at the airport at 12:30, reaching the hotel around 4:30, and waiting almost two hours just to check in.
The resort is very large, but the food selection felt limited and repetitive, even though they offered a Jamaican dish daily. Lines to enter the buffet were long, and service was extremely slow—even when the restaurant wasn’t busy. Drinks were often unavailable, forcing me to mix my own, which upset my stomach, and I could never get pizza because it would always run out.
The playroom was nice in theory, but in the evenings it was overcrowded, and kids would occupy the games for long periods, leaving no opportunity for others. Bathrooms in the building were dirty, some toilets didn’t work, there were no paper towels, and some stalls had broken lights.
In my room, the mirror lights and bathroom outlets didn’t work, and despite complaining almost six times, nothing was fixed, and I never received updates. The drive from the airport felt boring without music or conversation, unlike previous experiences I’ve had in Jamaica.
There were a few bright spots the beach party was entertaining, and Chef Andrew at one restaurant was engaging while cooking. One waiter tried hard to make my birthday special, and the staff singing “Happy Birthday” was appreciated. However, even these moments couldn’t compensate for the many issues with service, food, and maintenance.
For a 5 star resort that charges so much, I expected far more. I won’t be returning.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We did so many excursions right from the hotel. Swam with the dolphins, snorkeling, the kids went scuba diving and we did a sunset cruise for the adults. The food was delicious, the service was great and the drinks tasted great. We loved the crepe station. The rooms were nice and clean and we loved the smell of the lobby. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking. It was family friendly. We would definitely recommend!

Overall we had a great time at Moon Palace. This was our 4th time in Jamaica. We stayed in Moon Palace Cancun before and had an excellent time so thought we would give the one on Jamaica a go. Whole the hotel is neat and the surrounding area is beautiful the service in the hotel could be improved. We were a group of 12 - 3 families and arrived to not having the rooms we booked available. We were eventually given other rooms that required additional roller beds. Arriving late in the evening, after travelling for 16hrs+ then being sent off to your rooms without sufficient beds being available is just not good enough for the price you pay for this hotel. There is a lack of urgency or care from a lot of the staff, whether that's at reception or at the restaurant. The vibes at the hotel and pool are amazing thanks to the guests I must say so we had a blast regardless of the attitude we got sometimes from the staff.
Due to that lack of urgency just be prepared to queue at reception, buffet or other places.

Moon Palace Weddings SCAM - Beware, Brides & Grooms – My Experience with Moon Palace Weddings
I want to share my experience so others do not go through the same disappointment.
Moon Palace made big promises if I secured a certain number of guests and room nights. I met those requirements, but when I arrived I was told the perks and events could not be provided because “something was wrong with the system” and they could not see all of my guests. My guests had booked months in advance, so waiting until my arrival to tell me this was a red flag.
I was then told that after my wedding everything was sorted and I could use the perks or events I had been promised. Of course, once the wedding was over, those perks were no longer useful. This was another red flag.
From my perspective this felt like a bait and switch. They waited until my wedding was finished, knowing I would not benefit from what was originally promised. To make up for the situation, they told me I would receive five free nights at any Moon Palace property. At the time it seemed like they were just trying to quiet my complaints. When I later went to claim it, I was first told it was on file, but then they denied ever making that promise. Fortunately I recorded the call and have proof of what was said. It was noted in my file, but they still went back on it when I asked to use it.
My advice: do not plan your wedding at Moon Palace. Brides and grooms deserve honesty and reliability, not broken promises.

The food was good. Very nice property. Surprisingly several bars had top shelf liquor. Not all. Management was eager to correct any flaws however I didn't get that super level of customer service that I get from many other hotels in Jamaica. I can't say it was bad but its definitely not the level im used to from other hotels in Jamaica. Centrally located with a supermarket, drug store and a discount store near by. There's a restaurant across street. Mongoose. Don't go!

I had a great experience with chip chop the chef and Princess. I had an incredible dining experience at Sandals, where every aspect of my meal was perfect! The food was not only delicious but served at the ideal temperature, enhancing the flavors beautifully. Our waitress, Princess, was exceptional attentive and friendly, she made sure we had everything we needed. I was also impressed by the chef, who personally came out to check on us and even helped pack my food to my room. Their dedication to service made my visit truly memorable, and I can't wait to return!

Went here with my wife recently, absolutely astounded by the entire experience! Friendly and helpful staff at every turn, tons to do both on and off resort. Snorkeling, scuba, paddleboards, kayaks, sailing, swimming on both the gorgeous beaches and gorgeous pools. Swim up bar was an absolute blast! Plenty of night time events too, dont miss the stadium shows were AMAZING. Karaoke at Ethels bar piano led by a live pianist, staff were funny and got the crowd into it! Sea food, Italian, Asian cuisine, 9 restaurants, 4 full bars we went to buy many more on the resort. A variety of rooms anywhere from garden view villas to seaside rooms, also private rooms with private pools available. Beach parties, acrobarics, fire breathers! The sunshine and beauty of this place along with the beautiful heart of the Jamaican people will forever be with me! And dont forget your sandals! ☀️🌊🇯🇲

Our recent trip to Sandals had its ups and downs, but what truly made the experience worthwhile was the outstanding service from the bartenders, butlers, and wait staff. They are the heart of the resort and the reason we would consider returning.
Special shoutouts to Simone and Maxwell at the beachside bar, who were nothing short of incredible. As well as Ricardo and Miguel at the Cabana’s. Our housekeeper was incredible, we loved her. Their energy, hospitality, and attention to detail made every visit to the bar feel like a VIP experience. Also, Tavis at Vista Sky made our mornings memorable with top-notch service and genuine kindness at breakfast.
The reservation-only restaurants generally met expectations when it came to food quality and presentation. However, the quality of steaks and some of the dinner options outside the reservation system was extremely disappointing—closer to what you'd expect on a budget cruise line, not at a premium resort like Sandals.
Another major frustration was the reservation process. Being told “no” repeatedly by the concierge for dinner bookings, even when trying to reserve three days in advance, felt like a flaw in what should be a seamless all-inclusive experience. When you're paying a premium, you expect to be able to enjoy a quality meal without the hassle.

Sandals Ochi is our 3rd resort in as many years. No complaints! The rooms and grounds are lovely as are the pools. Everyone is kind and I feel as though they truly care about our experience. The restaurants are so delicious as always. The Vista Sky restaurant has amazing lobster tail. Highly recommend. Le Gourmand has a delicious sit-down breakfast if you’re not in the mood for a breakfast buffet. The resort activities at night are great as well. I also took a pool aerobics class with Shereka! She’s amazing and we had a great class. I can’t wait to visit again!

Awesome place to be if you just want to relax without worries ( this is what sans soucis means). The rooms are very generous size wise. The vegetation is lustig. The food is excellent! They even have a well equipped gym. Loved it there!

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with champagne and smiles, which made for a lovely first impression. The hospitality at check-in truly set a welcoming tone. The rooms were clean and modern, offering a stylish space to relax. However, the bedding left much to be desired — the sheets felt clingy and less comfortable than what I’ve experienced at other resorts and hotels.
One of the major drawbacks was the lack of consistent hot water in the shower. Additionally, since the rooms are accessed from the outside, we encountered quite a few bugs at night — including, unfortunately, a roach near our door. I understand the outdoor setting invites nature, but that was a bit unsettling.
The food overall was underwhelming. It lacked both variety and flavor, and the portions felt modest. That said, we absolutely loved Casanova — by far the best dining experience at the resort. The main buffet and service were just average. While the staff were generally polite, many seemed tired or disengaged, which is not what you’d expect from a so-called “5-star resort.”
There’s no shortage of activities — we particularly enjoyed kayaking and lounging by the pool. However, the “mineral pool” appeared neglected and in need of cleaning and refurbishment. Seeing bugs and debris on the steps was off-putting. The hot tub near the main swim-up bar was also poorly maintained, with leaves and dead insects floating around — something a simple, regular cleaning could easily fix.
Overall, the resort offers a beautiful setting and is a nice place to unwind. One major perk is the complimentary taxi transfer from the airport, which is a thoughtful touch. That said, despite its luxury branding, the resort doesn’t quite deliver on the 5-star experience it promotes online. I’m not typically one to complain, but having traveled extensively — from cruises to various international resorts — I’ve stayed in better accommodations at similar or even lower price points.
If you choose to stay here, you’ll likely still enjoy your time, but temper your expectations. This isn’t the ultra-luxurious all-inclusive experience many might expect based on its marketing.

Highly recommended!!! My husband and I had the best time at this resort. Exquisite service from everyone we had the pleasure of meeting. The grounds are out-of-this-world beautiful and great for strolling around. The rooms are spacious and clean and the food (we ate at all of the restaurants) is excellent! We booked a couples massage with Simone and Jackie and both women were true masters of their craft, in addition to being so lovely and welcoming. We were sad to leave and can't wait to go back again next year.

Sandals South Coast was top notch. If you are able to get a butler, I highly recommend it! They made our experience even better than I imagined. The beach was pristine, the service was amazing and they really took care of us. It was a week with no worries and total relaxation. It's not a huge party resort but the main pool is where there's always something going on. 100% would recommend Sandals South Coast. Only negative is the long ride from the airport to the resort which is approx. 1.5 hours. We had a great driver who made it informative and we were able to learn a lot about the area.

The entertainment staff, especially King James, was top notch. He was an amazing performer and helped us have so much fun on the trip.

We just returned from a relaxing stay at Sandals Negril in May 2025, and I can confidently say it was our best visit yet!
Having previously stayed in February 2024, I immediately noticed the positive impact of new General Manager Melissa Clark and her team. The resort felt noticeably cleaner, the staff more attentive and genuinely friendly, and even the food had improved across the board. These changes didn’t go unnoticed and truly enhanced our experience.
This resort continues to be the perfect choice for a romantic and stress-free getaway. From breathtaking sunsets to the soft, white sand beach just steps from your room, the location is unbeatable. You’re literally on the beach—it’s hard to find another resort with this kind of proximity to the ocean.
One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional butler service, which made our vacation feel completely effortless. Huge thanks to our incredible butlers, Felix and Damien, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect. We were treated to breakfast on our patio, daily treats like fresh fruit and champagne, romantic touches like a sunset soak in our tub, and seamless dinner reservations each night.
While no place is truly perfect, this trip came very close. Sandals Negril earns a solid 4.5 stars from us—5 stars for rooms, service, and location. If you're considering a relaxing beachfront escape where you're truly cared for, I highly recommend Sandals Negril (especially with butler service!).

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Sandals Negril last week. It was amazing! I highly recommend Sandals Negril! The staff is wonderful! Shout out to Orlando C. for his excellent service and making our trip even more special. He needs a raise! Orlando C, if you read this, we couldn't find you before we left. We had to cancel the cabanas because I wasn't feeling good our last day. You were amazing and we want to thank you so much for everything you did for us and making our trip special. ❤️ Vandam was super sweet and a great photographer. We bought mostly his pictures. Wilby was sweet as well. The server at Sundowner was great but we didn't get her name. A sweet girl singing in the main bathroom needs to be in the entertainment team and the other lady working the main bathrooms was very kind and sweet.
We had a club room in the bamboo grove building and it was excellent. We had an amazing view and the tubs added to the room. I must admit I was eyeing the swimups below us. The beach is great! I will say they need a yogurt place like Beaches and better desserts for us sugarholics. 😂 Other shout outs are for the lady working Crema most days, Easton, the chef at our candlelight dinner (amazing chef), Nicardo at Barefoot and Sundowner, the server at our candlelight dinner and everyone, so amazing. We failed to get all the names so if we missed several, we are sorry. Everyone was great and made our trip so much better! Romaine the sales manager is wonderful as well!

My husband and I had never been to Jamaica before and we absolutely LOVED the resort and staff. We met other amazing couples from all over the states who had been coming back to the resort year after year and offered lots of insight!
The food at each of the restaurants was great. Well seasoned and authentic. The staff were attentive and efficient.
We decided to do a Garden room and that did not disappoint. The view was lovely and serene. The room was clean and always stocked. The house keepers made sure you always had what you needed without asking.
The pool was a perfect temperature and the swim up bar was always fully stocked!
Of course I can’t forget to compliment how clean the beach was! It was beautiful and well kept. Clear water and nothing but sand!
Needless to say, we will absolutely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Couples Negril and would definitely recommend it, especially as a honeymoon destination. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and set on one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever experienced. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking every evening — a true highlight of our trip.
The food was good overall, with plenty of variety and flavorful dishes throughout the restaurants and bars. The service at the restaurants was generally decent, but there were times when some of the wait staff seemed uninterested or not very engaged, which took away from the experience a bit.
One of our favorite parts of the stay was waking up early and heading to the beach — not just for the calm, crystal-clear water, but also for the marine life! If you go out into the water in the morning, you’ll often see stingrays, crabs, and lots of fish swimming near the shore. It was such a fun and unexpected surprise that made our mornings extra special.
Unfortunately, we did have one unpleasant moment during our stay — when we returned to our room after dinner one night, we found a cockroach on the bed. It was definitely gross and not something you ever want to deal with while on vacation. That said, housekeeping came quickly, changed the sheets, and handled the situation well.
Despite that one issue, we still had an incredible time. The beach alone is enough to make us want to return. The vibe is romantic and relaxed, the scenery is unforgettable, and it’s a perfect place for a honeymoon or couples getaway. We would absolutely come back.

Wonderful staff and amazing location. Food was good. Drinks watered down, as expected. As for the activities not included in the all inclusive offer, like the spa or scuba diving, ridiculous rip-off prices! The free airport shuttle is a whole different story! This is how you start your experience at Couples Resorts. We had to cough up tips before even being let on the shuttle bus! The porter then even stated that you should remember to make it enough for two porters! They make more in a hour than most professionals! Would I go here again? No.

My husband booked this trip and never will he book another. He went off it stating how much this hotel was a 5 star from the internet, but I would NOT rate it as such. Everything is very outdated. I was in Jamaica feeling like I was in America trying to eat Jamaican food. The food was nasty and not even seasoned. Every morning I watched birds have a blast with the buffet styled breakfast. The food selection overall was scarce. For the most part, there was only one place opened at a time. I basically ate something to not starve each day. The room, the bed was nice other than that everything else appeared to not be clean. Especially the bathroom, the shower was very dirty. We kept having to kill roaches that came through the window in the bathroom due to the window not being a completely sealed one. It mimics blinds that you can open and close. Overall, I would never come back to this resort and wish that I could be compensated for how falsely advertised the site does this resort.

Best hotel I've ever stayed at! Super friendly staff that made you feel like family. Very welcoming and inviting. They all introduced themselves to us and always remembered our names. I will of course recommend this to anyone who comes to visit Ocho Rios. The amenities were amazing as well. from the nightly dessert selections placed in our room, the paddle boards kayaks and sailboats, there were just so many fun things to enjoy. we were also able to stay for the Tuesday night meet and greet with all the staff and managers and an open bar, and then a very lovely dinner on the beach in a buffet format. There was also Thursday movie night which had a nice James Bond movie displayed on a large projector out on the beach. overall, if I could give this higher than five stars I would! It was the best resort I've ever stayed and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Let’s just say, I happy we made it apart of our “mini-moon” trip! Perfect for decompressing from the busiest of the wedding.

I must say this place is absolutely perfect!! Not a single complaint. The wife and I are frequent travelers. We travel several times a year. I will have to say that this place is by far the best place we have ever stayed. We have stayed at huge all inclusives and luxury villas. But this place trumps all of them. We love how small and private it is. (Which explains why so many celebrities choose to stay here) The rooms are very clean with stunning views. The service is excellent. Staff know privacy and space. They don’t overwhelm you but are very attentive. Once you choose a place to relax on the beach and go for a swim, within minutes they set up your chairs with towels and linen. The food was delicious . The waiters know how to properly seat people with privacy and space in mind. All the staff are clean and professional. They have a beautiful sweet Labrador named Shadow that spends all day on the property and knows basic commands and loves to swim and fetch. Fun fact: Shadow is their 5th generation pet! You can grab her leash and hang out with her for as long as you like. She’s super sweet. I met one of the owners and he was very approachable and was very attentive of your needs. The wife and I have been looking for a place where we can come to every 6 months for 5 days to reboot since our business is so demanding. We found it!!! I am super excited to become a familiar face and establish great relationships with the staffs. The Morrows Family has owned this place since the 50’s and you can tell what their vision is. To be a place of privacy, safety and most of all relaxation. I highly recommend this place. I am now a regular customer at The Jamaica Inn. Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful experience. See you in 6 months!!!

Favorite place in the world. I have been coming for 13 years now and although the dear people I met there are no longer with us, the memories will never end. Impossible to mention all the things I love about Jamaica Inn, here are just a few: « Welcome home » greeting upon coming in, veranda suite which feels like home, opening the shutters first thing in the morning to the beautiful light, walking barefoot across the lawn to the sandy beach to the warm water, « Blue mountain » coffee in the morning, afternoon tea, cocktail on the terrace under the stars with the sound of tree frogs… it’s the place where my soul feels at home and longs to be back. The only thing I wish for is the time-share option, so I could spend 2-3 months a year there 🤗

I have to start off with recognizing the service. Staff at Sandals Royal Caribbean is absolutely top notch! We were fortunate to get to know Terrence the lifeguard during our stay who worked hard to keep the beach beautiful, and, more importantly, had a really refreshing perspective on life. Patring, our server for our candlelight dinner, was a joy! Mark, Princess, and Garfield at Bombay Club were also incredible. Karrette, our housekeeper, kept our room spotless throughout the duration of our stay. Every individual we interacted with was fantastic, but these specific individuals deserve special shoutouts and really contributed to a memorable trip!
The setting was tranquil, the resort was not sprawling like others I had visited before but never felt crowded, and the room was gorgeous! The temperature was comfortable in the room, the bed was great, and our mini fridge was always well-stocked. We loved the ability to stay here and take a short shuttle to Sandals Montego Bay, and proximity to the airport was a plus. The views from the beach were stunning!! The concierge was helpful with making dinner reservations, and we appreciated the tour prior to being taken to our room. We really felt pampered throughout our trip and loved the resort.

This was our fourth Sandals resort visit and our third experience with a butler. While we always look forward to celebrating our anniversary at these resorts, our recent stay in Montego Bay didn't quite meet the high expectations set by our previous visits. We genuinely appreciate the butler service, as it greatly enhances our trips, making them both amazing and romantic.
During our stay, we noticed there was no clear schedule of events, which led us to unintentionally stumble upon the silent party after dinner. We also encountered a small hiccup with our snorkeling excursion; unfortunately, we didn’t receive the boarding pass we needed. Additionally, we returned to our room without any surprises to celebrate our anniversary, which was a bit disappointing since past resorts have always shown such thoughtfulness.
Usually, when we meet our butler, we are asked about our plans. However, this time we didn’t have that opportunity. We typically tip well, but this trip included a request for tips, which was a new experience for us. While some team members were friendly and approachable, we occasionally felt a general atmosphere that made us seem like a burden.
On a positive note, the beach was gorgeous and is now my second favorite among all the places I've visited. We even decided to upgrade the couple we invited so they could enjoy the same experience, although it didn't quite match those of our previous visits. We truly appreciate the efforts made by the staff and hope to see improvements for future guests.

It's not the building, views, or even the food that keep us coming back. We just completed our sixth stay here over the past 15 years and some of the same employees are still there. Getting to know the staff is truly the best part. The managers, Omar and Marvin, are running this place as if it was their own home. Always checking on guests by name, checking the food, and really caring about the experience. You will certainly find prettier rooms with fancy bathrooms all over the Caribbean, but you'll never find better hospitality and personalized service.
If you want anything all, just ask. They'll do it! Special lunch? Unique drink? Just ask!
They even provided coffee beans in my room so I could grind my own coffee. Those little touches make all the difference in the world.

Very luxurious and premium all inclusive resort. My wife and I have stayed here 3 times and will be back! This is an all butler Sandals property and Omar and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. You don't have to lift a finger if you don't want to. Hospitality is the name of the game at this resort! The staff know you by your name and really care about your stay. The food and entertainment is also top notch! Our room was very clean and tidy, not to mention comfortable! I love the overall layout of the resort as well as the overall size of the resort. It's a smaller resort, but it's very well done. A must stay!!!

This was first trip to a Sandals resort. We stayed for a week and had an amazing time. I especially loved the entertainment each night. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did, so that is something I will definitely look for in future travel resorts. The staff members were very courteous, helpful, and polite. We did appreciate the variety of restaurants at the resorts as well. I do wish there were more menu options for in-room dining for the times we just wanted to relax in our room and not go out to a restaurant. There was construction going on in a lot next to the resort (next to our building) that was bothersome at some times.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves and the amenities that the resort had to offer. We will definitely be back for future Sandals vacations. Thank you for a wonderful trip for our first Sandals experience!

I came out to this resort purely for my moms wedding but could not have been more amazed!! Almost everyone is so polite and kind. They'll greet you in the halls if you pass by and none of my requests felt like it was a bother because of their demeanor. The drinks are also amazing! We went to the swim up bar 2 nights in a row because our bartender Dane was amazing!! In all the service and excursions were amazing and I hope i get to come back some day!

Nice resort. All inclusive activities and food. Rooms were a little dates but nice. The only issue we had was the water was out one day for several hours. I would definitely go back. Staff was awesome.

I will start with negative. Humidity is off the charts. Beds could be softer. Need more trash cans setup.
Now positives. Entertainment was off the charts. One name we remember is Super Mario he was incredible. Made you feel welcome and appreciated. To the gal that did omelettes she called me Santa Clause she was great. To the lady that did the pastry, coffee shop she was great. All front desk ladies very helpful. Candle light dinner for our 50th anniversary was memorable. Blue Mountain Coffee on my can’t say enough.

I just have to say that our Butler Carline was beyond amazing. She is so kind and helpful, she made us feel very comfortable throughout our entire stay here at Montego Bay. She knew what we needed before we even knew what we needed! Because of her, we will be returning in the future. She goes above and beyond and she takes the time to get to know you and accommodate your needs. Best Butler ever and she deserves all of the recognition!! :)

I stayed in this hotel resort recently. Loved it. Great staff. Very kind and attentive. No exceptions. It was a great facility. It was very charming. Felt like stepping back in time with very classic island decor. I heard that it was decorated by Ralph Lauren and I absolutely believe this to be true. Food was amazing. Staffed with Michelin star chefs. Shows every night. Beautiful beach, pool and water sports. Not the sort of place you go if you want to be rowdy.

The Villa was spectacular, the food was good, but not great, service was very good, but staff was actually too intrusive. The point of a villa is privacy, yet they wouod just walk on the grounds and into the villa constantly, it was ridiculous. But most importantly, and the reason I took a star off, was they listed a couples massage as $300, then charged $300 per person. As someone who has had countless massages, I have NEVER had that happen. It was truly outrageous.

All around amazing experience at Round Hill. The property is beautiful, timeless and pristine. The beach is perfect and the staff was fantastic. Special shout outs to Colleen, Shashana and the kitchen crew at Villa 10. They took great care of us, made breakfast an experience and kept the vibes high every morning. Also Bunny the groundskeeper at Villa 10 is an artist. Pristine property.
Owen on the bell staff was very kind and helpful and went out of his way to help us rent a guitar for the weekend.
Gavin was great on the concierge staff.
We also did a catamaran adventure one day. Thanks to Captain Sardine and his very fun crew. Shout out to Kenroy for guiding the snorkeling adventure and making it very memorable!
Round Hill is an amazing property with a fantastic staff. 10/10. Anyone who gets the privilege to stay here is lucky!

Generous size rooms and bathrooms. Fabulous villas (friends stayed in a few villas as we were there for a 90th bday celebration!). Amazing views. Expert, friendly and professional service from all staff members. Great walking trails. My fav was walking to the Spa. Beach front rooms and balconies are awesome. Beach and pool are beautiful. Jamaica is lush and beautiful and this is a perfect place to enjoy your resort time! And daily tea time is lovely! Not far from the Montego Bay airport. A bit expensive, but worth it. Fabulous for adults, family and group trips!
