I believe it's in a very good location with all the stuff necessary to make it great. Excellent views of the ocean and landscape, multiple pools with slides, tennis/basketball court, golf course etc.
What I think could be better, is more emphasis on food service. The food should not be cold. Particularly dinner needs to be addressed.
Other than that Excellent resort for everyone whether you are single, coupled, coupled with kids or older folks.
It caters to all. I need to note that the staff was very kind, helpful and intelligent.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dreams Rose Hall (formerly Hilton), and I can’t thank the staff and crew enough for a truly wonderful vacation experience. Special thanks to Vanessa Uter and her team for their exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and warm, welcoming spirit. The rooms were spotless, and the housekeeping staff was very courteous, always willing to assist with any concerns. Food was not good. They cut corners on almost everything. The restaurants the food is not hot. They basically get the restaurant food off the Buffet line. The jerk hut is the only good thing. The service is awful. Absolutely. The place is worn down. In the restaurant the wall has white spots. My room the doors had half the trim. All in all I think it just they don’t have a care for the details. Granted I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. But I think they are not price higher than what they provide. Pictures I attached. The omelette station wasn’t very sanitary the money would touch the plates. Not a big deal but again details. The door. I attached this because when I brought it up the employees said. “There’s no perfect room” understood. Phone has no directory. Pool chairs are disgusting. Then last is restaurant wall. Only think I will say is look for reviews for YouTube videos after this Hilton to dreams transition but I do not recommend this hotel at all.

My husband and I have had a lovely getaway to the Hilton Rose Hall Resort.
Pros: The resort was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the “East Beach” which was quieter during the day and then would move towards the pool as people went in to prepare for dinner. Food was fine, about average for what you’d expect at an All Inclusive. We loved the Italian restaurant and had the best chickpeas ever at the Asian restaurant (would love the recipe!!). We did not try the Jerk Shack or Rum Factor as we don’t tend to like curried or heavily spiced food. The staff was lovely and was always pleasant.
Cons: There were a few things in our room (outlet, smoke detector?) that stayed lit up or flashed throughout the night which disrupted our sleep at times. Our toilet also ran frequently, filling up and emptying itself numerous times an hour. The bars did not have bananas throughout our stay, which limited the number of frozen drinks available.
You can tell the resort is older (compared to Hilton Cancun where we stayed in 2023) but this did not take away from our experience. We would absolutely come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.

We had our wedding here and we couldn't have picked a better location...from our arrival to our departure this place was immaculate. They had a wide variety of food you're more than likely to find something you like. The staff was pleasant all around. After a couple nights and wedding employees start to recognize you and make you feel more at home. I cant wait to return on one of our anniversaries, hopefully sooner than later. I'm talking sun sets to sun rises and plenty of beautiful areas to catch them. You can tell the employees are hand picked they're pleasant and cater to you to the best of their ability. The beach areas, pools were well maintained and available 24/7. This place is great for a family stay or even a romantic couples stay. 10 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely wonderful, fresh spacious rooms, stunning views, the staff is phenomenal in the level of attention extended to us and our little baby. Breakfast buffet always featured fresh fruits, local and international dishes - really enjoyed trying out Jamaican foods among which a lot of options were steamed and boiled which we could offer to our baby starting solids. We tried Asian restaurant and were stunned with how authentically Thai the curries tasted. Seafood restaurant in the lobby equally amazed us with high quality of seafood and superb taste. Also it was so convenient to stay on a cabana with the baby - highly recommend to all new parents out there! Baby fell into sound sleep every time we were by the beach. And of course the staff deserves standing ovation - everyone has been so attentive and kind to us, we truly loved every moment. Thank you, and we hope to come back again soon!

A Wonderful Stay with a Few Minor Hiccups -
Would Return!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The resort itself was spotless — clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. Our 2 bedroom ocean front suite was amazing. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their warm, friendly service and attention to detail.
The food was absolutely amazing! Every meal was a treat, with a variety of options that were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Dining here was truly one of the highlights of the trip.
The beach was breathtaking - soft sand, clear water, and plenty of space to relax and soak in the sun. It was the perfect place to unwind.
There was an issue during our stay with the water — at times there was no water or only cold water available. While that was an inconvenient, I have to commend the manager, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure we were comfortable. Their dedication to guest satisfaction really stood out and helped smooth over the situation quickly.
Overall, the resort offers a great balance of relaxation and friendly competition (like fun activities or games), making it an ideal getaway. Despite the water issue, I would absolutely recommend this resort and look forward to returning in the future!
Let’s also not forget the amazing beach staff at the cabanas. They went above and beyond to keep us comfortable.

Great resort for families with young kids. Great service and restaurants have great food options with kids menu at all locations. Suites are big with laundry machines and balconies. Never felt like the place was too full. Plenty of space at the pools and plenty of chair options on the beach and pool areas. This was mid Aug.

If your vacation vision involves a lush, intimate escape without the flash and fanfare of massive resorts, Sunset at the Palms delivers in style. The rooms are so cozy! No concrete jungle. The low-key, adults‑only vibe is amazing. It’s extremely quiet and peaceful and there is no poolside techno music. Which was greatly appreciated. A crossing guard helps guests reach the private beach club which is a short walk across the street. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The staff on the beach also did a great job of keeping the peddlers away.
Sunset at the Palms was a romantic, restful haven for us. We definitely preferred its serene Indo‑Caribbean charm over resort spectacle. It’s not the place for loud parties or all-night entertainment—but we valued its personalized service, delectable food, a swim‑up bar, and beachside bliss without crowds, you’ll love it.

If you want a small personal resort experience this is it! No concrete jungle here just 75 rooms and everything is very personal! The beach and pool are small but we always had covered seats on the beach and poolside seating was easy as well. Met great people both at the resort and the guests. The food was very good and whatever you wanted was was taken care of! It's not what people think of when "resort" comes to mind but it is one of the best weeks I've had in a long time!

We loved our stay at the Sunset at the Palms. The property is incredibly beautiful and well kept. There is ample security and you feel very safe while you are there. They arrange all transportation for you if you leave the resort, which we utilized a couple times. They had their drivers wait for us everywhere we went, and insured they knew when we were coming back as well. The food was outstanding. Since it’s a smaller resort with around 85 rooms, the staff and cooks are local and trained very well. They prepare very authentic food. It was delicious. I came back to America missing the food, I felt a lot healthier as well while I was there. Our treehut was adorable. We had an issue with the first room we were in, but they were quick to put us in a new room and gave us a bottle of champagne as well. It was the perfect location for our honeymoon. The private beach was awesome and so relaxing. We spent so much time in the water and laying on the chairs. This is one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!

We came here for our honeymoon, to spend 1 week after 1 week of travelling by car through Jamaica. We were hoping for somewhere relaxing, beautiful, calm, with good food and drinks, good beach experience and a comfortable hotel. We found that and more. A hotel is more than a place to stay and do things, I think a truly good hotel experience needs to be a an overall experience where you really feel detached from daily life. This is one of the best hotel experience we ever had, not because it was the fanciest or the biggest or with the best food offer, but because we felt so good there everyday and the overall experience was great.
Of all the good things, for us the best thing was the staff. They were all great, authentic, proactive, professional but warm and welcoming. They would even anticipate our needs, like one time a couple of cocktails were brought to us after we finished ours and didn’t need to ask. On the last day we went to say goodbye to Andrice who served us so well at the beach, and she gave us a Jamaica key ring. Truly a great experience that I find rare nowadays in Hotels.
Other great things, the food in the beach (I must have ordered the jerk chicken and onion rings like 10 times), the drinks (ask for Bananacolada with coconut rum at the pool!), the music (Piano Paul always rocking the piano), the BBQ night (such AMAZING ribs), the beach (no concrete mega structures, just the palm trees, nice safety guard, water without rocks and good mix of shade and sun) and the room (with a balcony with a duvet where one can lie down during a tropical rain).
We had never said we would return to a hotel, but this one will probably change that. We just know that when we want days on the Caribbean with good service, good beach and good food and drinks, this place will be there for us.

We absolutely love sunset at the Palms. My wife and I stayed at the resort March 2025. We found this resort to be utterly charming. Food was amazing and the staff were so hospitable and attentive to our every need. The grounds were immaculate! The bird song And tree frogs brought so much joy to our hearts. We stayed in the 700s section and it was pure bliss. We loved our room, especially the balcony with the daybed. We took more than one nap together outdoors, listening to the sounds of nature before dinner. The beach was amazing and the staff catered to every need. Food and drinks from the beachside bar were wonderful though, I would recommend Taking one day to go over to the Office of nature for their lobster, OMG!
Yes, there were a few vendors hawking their wears on the beach, but all it took was a simple no thank you and they left us alone. Love the buskers who came along and played live music to serenade us. Donovan is the best!
The bartenders were so friendly and professional. By all means be sure to catch Paul at the piano bar. Thanks again sunset at the Palms we’re already making plans for our return.

I had very high hopes as alot of great reviews and big hotel name means high quality. We spent 5 nights in the butler suite and while our butlers were nice ladies. They didn’t quite meet our expectations. We were traveling with small children and they were booking late dinners. Not much initiative was taken we had to tell them to do everything. This is not our first time using butler service so we had high expectations. Butler service just makes your vacation more relaxing. I expected better more personable service.
Now the room, they need to do better they have beautiful limestone on the floors and quarts in the restrooms. Mold in the grout of the shower. They just throw caulk on top of mold. I had to shower in the dark. It’s too humid to not have ventilation in the restroom. Do better Hyatt!
Other than that it was a very relaxing vacation. Our kids had a good time and while we traveled with young kids we also enjoyed ourselves.

My sons and I had a guys trip to Hyatt Ziva and had a wonderful time. The grounds are well kept and the location is convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
Food was hit or miss, Choicez was a disappointment but breakfast as Calypso and the Jerk Hut were so good!! The star of the entire week was the Tuesday night Street Fair, a Jamaica BBQ with several different grills, buffet and drink stations.
The pools were beautiful, clean, and never felt crowded. The entertainment staff keep everyone entertained. Drinks are good and the pool staff keeps them coming.
Beach is beautiful but on the smaller side with plenty of shade for lounging.
Overall this is an excellent resort for families, beautiful design but some age is showing, but the staff, location, and vibes make this worth it!!

This review is for families. My family of four (kids 7 & 12) just returned from Ziva. Bottom line up front, we had a great time and would highly recommend. Now, don’t get me wrong, this place is not perfect, but the negatives are more of an annoyance than show stoppers.
Staff – We thought the staff were great. Almost 100% were delightful and really wanted to ensure we were well looked after. In fact, they provided a happy birthday welcome in one or our rooms and sung happy birthday at dinner. The other one percent I chalk up to a bad morning or afternoon. Hey, we have all been there. I say this because on one occasion I think a lady at the buffet must have been having a rough morning and it came across with her service at the start. But by the end of our meal, she warmed up. In fact, we had her the next day and she was all smiles for the very start. We noticed that sometimes the Jamaicans can speak with a bit of a rough tone but really don’t mean any ill will.
Bench/pool – Remember, this review is for families and the beach is perfect for the us. It was never over crowded and it was basically 4 to 4 ½ feet deep the entire area in the cove. The kids felt safe and had a great time splashing around without having to worry about rough waves or riptides. The pool was very clean and 4 feet all around. It is true that folks claim their spot early. Even though the pool does open to 9, try to get up and to the pool area before 7 if having the ideal spot is important to you. We never had any issues with staff coming around asking if we needed anything. The only annoyance was the staff working the pool bar must have forgotten that they were not working the adults only side and was hyping the crowd hanging around the bar with some inappropriate sounds/chats at time. For example, one it was “this is my rifle – this is my gun” chat. For those of you that spent time in the military or have scene Full Metal Jacket would know this is not something kids should be hearing. Again, a bit of annoyance. Not a show stopper.
All-in-all, we really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend the place. Again. Great but not perfect. But what is…

The rooms were quite small, outdated, and not well maintained. Cleanliness was an issue, as there was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling, and the shower handle broke during our stay. The buffet was below expectations; however, the jerk hut was enjoyable and the Di Rosa Italian restaurant offered a very good dining experience. Despite these positives, the overall condition of the accommodations was disappointing, and I would not choose to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We did so many excursions right from the hotel. Swam with the dolphins, snorkeling, the kids went scuba diving and we did a sunset cruise for the adults. The food was delicious, the service was great and the drinks tasted great. We loved the crepe station. The rooms were nice and clean and we loved the smell of the lobby. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed kayaking. It was family friendly. We would definitely recommend!

If I could give Moon Palace Jamaica zero stars, I would! This is by far the worst resort I’ve ever stayed at. They advertise themselves as 5 stars, but I would rate them no higher than 2. The entire place feels like a money-grab operation with zero accountability.
The food was a major disappointment for the price. There are very few restaurants, and reservations are impossible to get, yet when you arrive, the dining rooms are half empty. Every restaurant we visited had run out of food, only for “suddenly available” dishes to appear once servers received extra cash.
I booked and paid for two deluxe junior suites with an ocean view directly through Palace Elite, but upon check-in, we were given cramped family rooms overlooking a rooftop covered in garbage. When I complained to Public Relations, I was told I should have said something before checking in, completely misleading since I only discovered the problem after arrival. They did nothing to change the rooms or apologize.
We bought into the membership over six years ago. Biggest mistake ever. They lure you in with promises of luxury, but in reality, the amenities, food, and service are rubbish. To make matters worse, they even blackmailed us, saying they would only change our rooms if we upgraded our membership. Absolutely disgusting behavior.
The most disturbing part of our stay was witnessing how staff prey on young girls. Anyone over 12 seemed to be treated as fair game for inappropriate attention. This is unacceptable. I do not recommend this resort, and I strongly advise parents not to leave their children unattended here, it is not safe. We experienced an incident where staff begged us not to report them. Very disturbing.
Avoid this resort if you value honesty, quality, and basic human decency.
One the other hand we have stayed at Sandals in Montego Bay a while back and we had a great experience!

The Moon Palace experience is always flawless for us and Jamaica is a favorite location because of its beautiful beaches, fabulous villas, and great tours. As long term members, we are lucky to have royal treatment each time. While understandable from a business perspective, keeping access open to non members can negatively impact the vibe, and is clearly also impacting the rankings. I feel lesser crowds lead to better experiences for members and staff as well. Maybe the mass production on busy weeks lead to stressed out crew members which leads to hit or miss attitudes by some staff though overall the staff is well trained and highly hospitable especially the butlers.

⚠️ Moon Palace Jamaica – From Honeymoon Paradise to Major Disappointment
I feel compelled to share this because I don’t want other families to go through what we did.
We first went to Moon Palace Jamaica 9 years ago for our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience. We loved it so much that we decided to return this year — this time bringing our child so we could share the special place with her.
Sadly, this return trip was nothing like the first. The resort has gone downhill:
• Rooms are outdated, the plumbing was bad, and our shower never got hot.
• Our room stayed hot and uncomfortable despite reporting it.
• Worst of all, $1,000 was stolen from our in-room safe — and we got no real resolution.
• Service was poor. Many times, no one wanted to wait on us — we had to get up and get our own drinks at the pool, yet staff were constantly walking around pushing us to buy excursions instead of providing actual service.
On top of this, we were pressured into attending a 2.5-hour “Vacation Club” presentation. We were promised resort credits, and I even told the host (Opal) that we already had a spa appointment booked. She told us to “make sure we used the credits” — but never mentioned that pre-booked spa services wouldn’t qualify. At checkout, we were blindsided and forced to pay nearly $600 out of pocket for the spa.
Customer service has refused to make it right, hiding behind “policy” instead of acknowledging their staff’s misleading statements.
And just for perspective: the membership they tried to sell us was quoted at $1.3 million, and even then, members still have to pay 40% of the room cost when visiting. Absolutely shocking.
Bottom line:
• Resort quality has gone downhill.
• Service is not what it used to be.
• Security is questionable — money stolen from our safe.
• Staff focus more on selling than serving.
• Their “presentation credits” are a trap.
We will never return to a Palace Resorts property, and I strongly caution others against booking here. What was once a beautiful honeymoon destination turned into a major disappointment.

I was expecting WAY more from this hotel. We arrived late due to the hotel being an hour and a half from the airport. Check in took almost an hour. The room was decent when we finally got in it but everything is so dated. The shower door was the worst, had to forcefully push it to close, and the faucet in the bathroom sink was so close to the bowl it was hard to do anything. The views from the balcony is mostly obstructed. You’re looking at the roofs of buildings before you see the pools and oceans. Service all around the resort was barely there, it’s like they hated coming to work, especially by the pool. We would often have to get out of the pool to get our own drinks and food. Drinks and Desserts were TERRIBLE, but it seems that’s across the board for All Inclusive’s nowadays. The cookies and cakes at the hallway market were the worst I’ve ever had. Other day. Room service took almost 1-2 hrs to get. The best food was the Hibachi, Indian (by the beach) and the buffet, surprisingly. The pools are all separated so get up early, find a seat and hope that you have a good spot. The spa was great minus the lady who walked us through everything seemed like she didn’t want to be there either. The one perk was the kids club and pool area that our family loves. Night entertainment was good as well Please take into consideration all the bad reviews and hopefully improve your resort. People hate wasting money while traveling!

An incredible hotel. Came recently with my wife and honestly from the moment we arrived to the second we left we had an amazing time. The staff are all excellent, from the front desk to the multi talented entertainment team, the chefs to the cleaners everyone is just so helpful and friendly and made our stay so comfortable and memorable. The facilities are fantastic, brilliant restaurants, beautiful sea views, great pools and an all round vibe. One of those resorts I most certainly will return to someday.

From the moment we got to the property it was the beginning of an amazing vacation. The staff was engaging and welcoming. They greeted us with "welcome home" and made us feel at home.
If you are looking for relaxation with your spouse you will find it here and don't need to leave the resort.
Most of the staff are the friendliest we've encountered. I say most because there is always one person who is having a bad day.
We will definitely come back and spend more time at this fabulous resort.

We went here for our holiday this year and omggg. I'm sooo happy we did, it was also my birthday as well so we did it up. Jamaica is amazing, the food, the people and this hotel was absolutely fantastic, it had everything you can think of. The restaurant were all good, very clean. They definitely go above and beyond. The room service, the house keepers, the bartenders and the entertainment was all excellent. I will definitely be back.

Good things: water was beautiful, the room was good. The food was really good (when the restaurants were open) the kettle drum show was excellent!
Bad things: the staff made if very clear they do NOT LIKE tourists. In fact we caught the staff a few different times making fun of people, it got so bad my husband actually called them out on it. The shops are rarely open if ever. And your never sure which restaurant was open because every night one of them is closed. But if you do get to eat the food is really good, the buffet was excellent. Don't bother bringing a lot of tip money because the staff could really care less about tips. The resort itself needs some work as well, Secrets has really gone downhill. Jamaica is definitely not what it used to be (was there 18 years ago)will never go back.

I enjoyed my time at couples swept away except for a few things.
Positives:
The location was very nice, I really enjoyed being able to walk right on the long strip of the beach every single day. The food availability of food at almost all hours was great, I never felt rushed to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The health and wellness center was also great. A lot of equipment to choose from at the gym and many other athletic options to choose from.
Negatives:
The lack of lighting in the room. The only working lights in our room was the overhead lights on the bathroom vanity and the bedroom vanity. (and entrance/hallway). The bedside lights never worked and when we asked for it be resolved, nothing happened.
The bathroom needed some obvious upgrading but it looks like they are in the process of doing that in some of the buildings. Our iron was also broken and leaking water (all over the suite that needed to be worn in a few hours) but they were able to replace that within 30 minutes.
I'm also curious about the privacy of some of these rooms, the first room we had, all 3 walls facing the outside had shutters that you would need to open since there was little to no lights in the room.
Overall I'm not sure if I would stay here again (not soon anyway) since it looks like they are in the process of doing some updates on the resort. Hopefully these issues are taken into consideration because I think it is a beautiful resort and the location is excellent as well.

JUST OKAY, EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET....... Overall it was just okay. My husband and I visited Couples Swept Away for our 3 year wedding anniversary. We are both in our mid 20s (definitely the youngest couple there) and were looking for a good mix of romance, relaxation, and fun. There were some things we liked but a lot more that we didn't.
Food: Food matters A LOT to us, so to say we were disappointed is an understatement. We thought the buffet options were limited and average at best. Plated dinners were better but required a reservation. Being at a Jamaican all-inclusive resort, we thought that meant access to unlimited beef patties, but nope. With 4 spots to eat on the resort, there was only 1 location that served beef/ chicken patties. The restaurant’s listed opening time was 12pm, but if you were not hanging around to see when the staff started taking orders (~11am), you were not getting a patty until the next day.
Weather: We visited first week of July, allegedly not the rainy season. I know that you can’t control the weather but it rained every single day around 1pm and didn’t stop until around 5pm which significantly cut quality beach time. Temps were high 80s and nice other than the seemingly constant and scheduled rain. Heavy rain clouds were always looming.
Beach: Beautiful, very clean, no trash, no seaweed. Vendors heckled until day 3. It was quiet most of the time except for construction on a beachfront unit and power washing of the walkways. There were NEVER clean towels available, you had to bring them from your room. The chairs were dirty and old. There were only a few umbrellas to sit under and they were quickly taken.
Room: Our room was clean and ready for us, we did not have to wait to check in. The room was serviced almost every time we left (2x/day). We always had clean towels, bed made, and a full water pitcher. The water pressure in both the shower and sink was very weak and made showering, washing hands, and washing hair very difficult and time consuming. Shower has no door and entire floor gets wet with each shower.
Amenities: Spa was great 10/10, we got the couples massage. Since it rained every single day, we were looking for things to do indoors but indoor activities were lacking. Racquetball courts were closed for renovation and squash ball equipment did not work. Only option was to have another mid meal... The evening events were “dinner and a show” format, usually a singer or a band. One night there was a bonfire on the beach but we didn't attend because of the mosquitos. Night activities included karaoke and dance parties but with the average couple’s age being 45+, my husband and I found it pretty awkward. This is definitely not a party resort. Pools closed at 10pm.
Staff: Everyone was amazing. Very friendly and attentive always.
Do we regret visiting Jamaica? No, but would we stay at Couples Swept Away again? Also no. We feel as though our money would have gone a lot further at a comparable all-inclusive in Cancun.

My wife and I had a wonderful time! The beach was beautiful and had very few people on it making the beach almost feel like your own. Restaurants were on point and food was great. Loved the rooms and how they're tucked away in what feels like a forest !

Me and my wife enjoyed are stay it was nice to get away from work and enjoy some quality time together.
Pros - comfortable atmosphere and welcoming staff.
Cons- rooms outdated with terrible lighting in the bathrooms, the restaurant Feathers had and mold smell when we walked in and the food at this restaurant was ok. Bugs were present in are room on more the one occasion. Our room was right by the road we heard loud excessive noises throughout the night.

Room- Ok nothing special, clean comfortable bed. Very dated.
Staff- Mostly friendly, especially if you tip them. (Even though it’s meant to be a tip free hotel.) Special mention to Al-Jay down at the swim up bar who is particularly rude to the English guests and won’t even speak to us.
Food and Drinks- Fantastic range of drinks and beautiful cooked food. Particularly enjoyed the Jerk Chicken and the breakfast buffet.
Entertainment - Very good standard, the resident band are brilliant especially when you’re stoned.
Water sports - Good selection to keep you entertained. King Julian and his snorkelling trips are excellent. 🐠
Pools - Nice but not the cleanest.
Beach - Absolutely beautiful, just wish the vendors would leave me to enjoy it in peace.
Sports Complex - Everything you need for a decent workout.
I should also mention that some staff at the hotel are constantly asking guests for money and we were approached a few times by staff asking if we go get them jerk or food from the all inclusive buffet. I feel like this is a problem with the hotel management not paying and feeding them well enough.

The property and resort is nice, although we weren't blown away or impressed above our expectations. The food is delicious, however there are some that I would avoid, such as El Patio. The a la carte dinners also took a long time, up to 2 hours if you also have dessert, which lead to long wait times if you don't arrive close to opening at 6:00. The app was also not accurate, listing hours for each restaurant, which changed our plans more than once when we arrived to a closed restaurant. Room service was quite slow at times, so we only ordered breakfast which was more prompt. The very large size of the resort (combining 3 resorts) seems to be a challenge from a service and maintenance aspect. The pool area was clean. Although the beach/ocean had a high amount of sargassum, it was still swimmable. The ocean only gets around 3-5ft deep up to the buoys. Lots of beach chairs available. Pool chairs were more limited.
This is the 2nd Secrets we have stayed at, and Secrets Cap Cana was a more impressive resort to us, and left us expecting more from Wild Orchid.
Overall, this is a good resort worth going to and we had a great time, but unless it is your first time at an all inclusive, you should adjust your expectations.

In general would give this resort a 3.5 out of 5. They desperately need to remodel and upgrade their rooms, pool, restaurants décor etc. The hospitality was not always good, a lot of times the women would give a lot of attitude and make it seem like getting our requests were such a pain to them. Our toilet was clogged one of the nights just because they didn't work well enough. I had to call front desk 3 times with a wait of over an hour, no one came. I had to go down to front desk and demand maintenance to ride in the elevator with me to fix the issue. A few days later when we were making a reservation to a restaurant the hostess was oh room # XXX you guys had the toilet complaint - EXCUSE ME? First of very unprofessional you would bring that up at dinner, secondly it wasn't my fault maintenance was not doing their job and I had to yell at them to do so.
The food was really good however, the wait for receiving your food was sometimes over an hour. The hibachi experience was one of our top memories - definitely recommend. The coffee shop had great coffee and the women there were very nice there. The beach area was great, beautiful, calm waves with amazing sunset.
In general I do not think the cost for this resort was worth what we got

I wanted to share some feedback regarding our current stay at your resort. While we were very much looking forward to this trip – especially as we’re celebrating our belated honeymoon – unfortunately, our experience so far has been underwhelming and disappointing in a number of ways.
We arrived at the resort at 10:30 AM and were informed that check-in would be at 3 PM, which we fully understand. However, the resort didn’t appear to be particularly busy, so we were hopeful that our room might be ready a little earlier. Despite checking in with the staff multiple times throughout the day, we were not able to access our room until 3:20 PM.
Once in the room, we found it to be nice overall, but the “ocean front” view was not what we expected. Our room is located in the corner with a peeling wall immediately to the right, which significantly detracts from the view and ambiance.
There have also been several maintenance issues:
• The air conditioning won’t cool below 20°C, hovering instead between 21.5–23°C.
• The coffee maker doesn’t work at all.
• The mini-fridge stopped working altogether.
I’ve attempted to call the front desk multiple times, and after finally getting someone, I was transferred to another line that went unanswered.
Additionally, we’ve noticed that many of the restaurants and shared spaces like the lobby and elevators lack proper air conditioning, making it uncomfortably warm throughout the resort. While the food so far has been pretty good, the service has been quite slow.
At check-in, we were asked if we were celebrating anything special, and we mentioned that this trip is our belated honeymoon. The staff member asked if this had been noted on our booking – which it had, via our travel agent – but we’ve received no acknowledgment or effort from the resort to make the occasion feel special. No champagne, no romantic touches in the room, not even a simple welcome note.
By contrast, during my previous honeymoon at Sandals Grenada, they went above and beyond – with room upgrades, floral arrangements, towel art, and attentive service that really made the trip memorable. Unfortunately, this stay with Secrets has fallen short in comparison, and as it stands, we likely wouldn’t choose to book with this brand again in the future.
We’re here until Friday and hope that things may improve in the meantime. I felt it was important to share this feedback in hopes that it can be addressed while we’re still on the property.

Lisa and Davin were great at check in. Kenny and Duran are the BEST butlers on this side of heaven. And Nickiesha and Tanesha with Amstar deserve flowers for how hard they rectified a problem for us.
I don’t know if I’ll recommend this resort as I am a tough critic on food and drink and this resort needs some upgrade in quality. Best restaurant was the hibachi but idk guys, I feel like I woke up with knots in my stomach every day after that. Service was great though, everyone was kind and attentive. And again, Kenroy and Duran!!!! They would have something ready for us before we even asked. It’s amazing that 2 people can work together so well and treat us like the only girls in the world. I miss those two dearly already!
It was my cousin’s birthday and Kenroy and Duran treated her like royalty all day and secretly decorated for her while we were gone.
Pools were nice and beach access on the other side of your swim up room was great, too! Can’t promise I’ll be back but if I do, it’ll definitely be as a preferred member again! Thank you all for everything!

Positives: beautiful location. I mean stunning.
Negative: ROACH INFESTED!!! Roaches in the rooms, in the restaurants. Had a roach in my room and they didn’t pick it up for 2 days. Had to complain multiple times just to get the floors mopped properly. My family saw roaches fly onto one of the cooks who dropped everything and started screaming. My sister had a roach fly in her hair and the waiter picked it off her head and lied to her saying it wasn’t a roach when everyone saw it. Saw roaches in the day time crawling around the blue mountain restaurant. Place is crawling with roaches!!!!!!!!! Worst part is they tried to make me sign a non-disclosure agreement so that I couldn’t write a review or file a suit in exchange for $100 room credit and some Hyatt rewards points. Told them I wouldn’t be signing my life away for some cheap points and credit.

Lovely resort! Many places to take pictures. The food is okay depending on where you eat. Make sure to make reservations for the resort restaurants if you want to dine for dinner. This was not mentioned during check-in. Otherwise you have everything there. Drinks by the pool are delicious! My fav was the Bob Marley drink!🍹 Beautiful gym as well. It's a two story bldg. Very beautiful and lively place!

Dream wedding come true! My wife and I recently held a destination wedding here with about 42 guests and it exceed our expectations tenfold. Natresha our wedding coordinator went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Along with that, all the staff were exceptional. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the entire resort always offered something to do. We absolutely loved our swim-up room!
The all-inclusiveness really makes it worthwhile. You truly can relax here without hesitation! The food was amazing, and it is recommended to make reservations to the on-site restaurants as soon as you arrive. The grab and go spots are perfect if you want a quick snack by the pool or the beach.
We would absolutely recommend this resort if you are looking for a great vacation spot, or as a stand-out location for a destination wedding! We can’t wait to go back 🇯🇲🌴

Hyatt Zilara was cool for what it was — definitely a solid spot for relaxing with just a sprinkle of turn up energy. If I’m ever looking for a chill vacation where I can lounge by the pool and sip strong drinks (that aren’t too sweet!), I’d go back. The restaurants had great-tasting food, but the biggest downside was that the food was almost always cold, which was disappointing. The dinner buffet was decent, but the other buffets didn’t really hit for me. Other than that, the drinks, the vibe, and the scenery were all on point.

My husband and I had never been to Jamaica before and we absolutely LOVED the resort and staff. We met other amazing couples from all over the states who had been coming back to the resort year after year and offered lots of insight!
The food at each of the restaurants was great. Well seasoned and authentic. The staff were attentive and efficient.
We decided to do a Garden room and that did not disappoint. The view was lovely and serene. The room was clean and always stocked. The house keepers made sure you always had what you needed without asking.
The pool was a perfect temperature and the swim up bar was always fully stocked!
Of course I can’t forget to compliment how clean the beach was! It was beautiful and well kept. Clear water and nothing but sand!
Needless to say, we will absolutely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at Couples Negril and would definitely recommend it, especially as a honeymoon destination. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and set on one of the most stunning beaches we’ve ever experienced. The sunsets were absolutely breathtaking every evening — a true highlight of our trip.
The food was good overall, with plenty of variety and flavorful dishes throughout the restaurants and bars. The service at the restaurants was generally decent, but there were times when some of the wait staff seemed uninterested or not very engaged, which took away from the experience a bit.
One of our favorite parts of the stay was waking up early and heading to the beach — not just for the calm, crystal-clear water, but also for the marine life! If you go out into the water in the morning, you’ll often see stingrays, crabs, and lots of fish swimming near the shore. It was such a fun and unexpected surprise that made our mornings extra special.
Unfortunately, we did have one unpleasant moment during our stay — when we returned to our room after dinner one night, we found a cockroach on the bed. It was definitely gross and not something you ever want to deal with while on vacation. That said, housekeeping came quickly, changed the sheets, and handled the situation well.
Despite that one issue, we still had an incredible time. The beach alone is enough to make us want to return. The vibe is romantic and relaxed, the scenery is unforgettable, and it’s a perfect place for a honeymoon or couples getaway. We would absolutely come back.

Beach location is excellent and very private. All hotel amenities are a short walk away. We got a great room with a really nice ocean view. Hotel has a lot of include activities, like the catamaran ride and snorkeling boat. Scuba diving is also available free of charge for certified divers. They go on two boat dives per day. You’ll probably need the advanced open water cert to go to the nicer spots.
Drinks were subpar unfortunately. They don’t really know how to prepare a lot of them. Food quality is good, but available selection is poor. Was really disappointed to see the main buffet become a la carte restaurant of several days, with an even more limited selection. Also tried to get two sides and server got mad (I had never seen anything like this in an AI resort). I really liked the small and hidden coffee shop behind the lobby stairs. My wife also had a great experience and the spa.

Wonderful staff and amazing location. Food was good. Drinks watered down, as expected. As for the activities not included in the all inclusive offer, like the spa or scuba diving, ridiculous rip-off prices! The free airport shuttle is a whole different story! This is how you start your experience at Couples Resorts. We had to cough up tips before even being let on the shuttle bus! The porter then even stated that you should remember to make it enough for two porters! They make more in a hour than most professionals! Would I go here again? No.

Beautiful resort with a beautiful beach. Staff were friendly, food was great with good selections, drinks were great also. Our only complaint was that we didn’t book a longer stay, six days were not enough. Plan to return next year!!

I had an amazing weekend here. I’ve been to a number of hotels and I can say by far the best service I’ve received. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner were amazing. The room was nicely decorated for my partner’s birthday and I can’t find any faults with anything! Definitely will be visiting again.

Amazing all inclusive experience here! We stayed the end of June and it wasn't crowded at all. Everyone was so kind and remembered our names and there was lots of activities, events, and excursions to chose from. Next time we will definitely have to stay longer than this 6 night trip. Highly recommended!!! My husband and I had the best time at this resort. Exquisite service from everyone we had the pleasure of meeting. The grounds are out-of-this-world beautiful and great for strolling around. The rooms are spacious and clean and the food (we ate at all of the restaurants) is excellent! We booked a couples massage with Simone and Jackie and both women were true masters of their craft, in addition to being so lovely and welcoming. We were sad to leave and can't wait to go back again next year.

Staff changes happen- so you really can't go by 1 person's experience. The place is absolutely gorgeous. I would have given it 6 stars with the exception of the food. The food has been mediocre this year. This is my 3rd time coming to this resort- I don't know if they just have some key kitchen staff on vacation, or they are training some new ones. But this time/ this year - it's not cutting it.

We love it. We rented a beach cabana every day Orlando C was the attendant. He is simply fantastic. When you come to Sandals Negril (book it), make sure you see Orlando C for cabanas or snorkeling. He's great. The entire staff is great. It's quiet and adult friendly. My wife and I will return.

We just returned from a relaxing stay at Sandals Negril in May 2025, and I can confidently say it was our best visit yet!
Having previously stayed in February 2024, I immediately noticed the positive impact of new General Manager Melissa Clark and her team. The resort felt noticeably cleaner, the staff more attentive and genuinely friendly, and even the food had improved across the board. These changes didn’t go unnoticed and truly enhanced our experience.
This resort continues to be the perfect choice for a romantic and stress-free getaway. From breathtaking sunsets to the soft, white sand beach just steps from your room, the location is unbeatable. You’re literally on the beach—it’s hard to find another resort with this kind of proximity to the ocean.
One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional butler service, which made our vacation feel completely effortless. Huge thanks to our incredible butlers, Felix and Damien, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect. We were treated to breakfast on our patio, daily treats like fresh fruit and champagne, romantic touches like a sunset soak in our tub, and seamless dinner reservations each night.
While no place is truly perfect, this trip came very close. Sandals Negril earns a solid 4.5 stars from us—5 stars for rooms, service, and location. If you're considering a relaxing beachfront escape where you're truly cared for, I highly recommend Sandals Negril (especially with butler service!).

We stayed at Sandals Negril for 7 nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary — a trip we had been looking forward to for years. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, and our room exceeded expectations. The butler service was outstanding — attentive, thoughtful, and truly top-tier. In that regard, the resort and staff deserve a 5-star rating.
Unfortunately, our overall experience was devastatingly disappointing due to a severe illness that struck both of us the second day of our stay. We spent the majority of our vacation — nearly 80% of the time — extremely ill and confined to our room, unable to enjoy the amenities, beach, restaurants, or even our anniversary day itself.
We sought care from the on-site doctor and were told lab results would be available within 7–10 days. It has now been nearly four weeks, and we still haven’t received any results, despite following up. Multiple staff members asked us what we had eaten, suggesting the illness may have been related to the food — which is deeply concerning, especially at an all-inclusive resort known for its culinary offerings.
This was the most expensive vacation we’ve ever taken, and it was meant to be a celebration of a major milestone in our lives. Instead, it was overshadowed by a health crisis and a lack of post-care follow-through.
We’re heartbroken that such a beautiful place with such excellent service ended up being the backdrop for such a disappointing and distressing experience. We hope that no other guests have to go through the same.
*** UPDATE- test results arrived after 3 months and we tested positive for SALMONELLA.

Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation! The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was great at every restaurant. Kimonos and Barefoot by the Sea were our favorites! The beach was beautiful. The seagrass was there, but really not a huge problem. We had the Paradise Beachfront Club level room (3rd floor) and the view was amazing and the room was spectacular. Seriously don’t know how anywhere else could ever top Sandals Negril!!

Sandals South Coast was top notch. If you are able to get a butler, I highly recommend it! They made our experience even better than I imagined. The beach was pristine, the service was amazing and they really took care of us. It was a week with no worries and total relaxation. It's not a huge party resort but the main pool is where there's always something going on. 100% would recommend Sandals South Coast. Only negative is the long ride from the airport to the resort which is approx. 1.5 hours. We had a great driver who made it informative and we were able to learn a lot about the area.

What a gorgeous 10 days here at south coast. Restaurants although limited were all fantastic. Property is stunning and the array of water sports and snorkelling is fantastic. We’ve had a great 10 days and will be sad to go home tomorrow. Especially gonna miss the fantastic cafe de Paris where the entire staff are phenomenal!!

Our daughter had the most beautiful wedding ever last night. Highly recommend the over the water chapel with beach reception. 5pm wedding a must to catch the beautiful sunset and then the string lights are perfect when it gets dark during the reception. The entire wedding and reception staff went above and beyond the all evening! They made the evening that much more magical with their hospitality. South Coast is the best!!!

We went here for our honeymoon and it was the best trip I could have ever imagined! The staff was so amazing and friendly - Kayan and the entertainment team are phenomenal. Our room was so pretty and was stocked and cared for daily. All the food and drinks were delicious and they are not afraid to make those drinks strong! Would love to come back someday. Multiple people there who had been to other sandals locations told us this was their favorite one. Picture shows a gorgeous view from the overwater bar.

It’s a safe, non-judgemental space and has something for everyone! There is no pressure to ‘play’ here at all. People come from all over the world.
Enjoy it all - Quiet private cabanas, play-room by the pool, hot tub, romping shop, sexology classes, parties at all hours. I’ve done it all over the years, quiet private balcony stay, prude side, rude side, full-on steamy exchanges. Every time I go it’s different people and a different energy. I’m not a huge fan of the groups, the rooms, the food or even the staff and entertainment (but that’s just me). I like to please myself and when it comes to pleasing yourself and living your best life - this is as good as it gets!

100% Best resort to stay at in Jamaica. My home away from home. Dive team is awesome. Everyone is super friendly. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Love the entertainment and games. Fire show is so much fun!! We’ve been 7 times. Only negative/ NOTHING drys out here, could use some dryers for guests and fans in the bathroom to get the moisture out of the room quicker, but I know it’s a climate issue, not the resort itself. Love this place. Will be back.

What a fabulous spot. People are there for a variety of reasons but certainly all centered around the possibility of naked freedom and there is simply such a good vibe about the place.
It's a great setting and the rooms are quite fine. Facilities for fun are fabulous, even to the wee hours of the night with grilled cheese and fries at 2 am!
Food is great and all booze is top shelf. Very friendly staff and lots of pool activities and great evening entertainment.
Can’t wait to go back in January.

Great resort, would be 5 stars were it not for the string mold smell up on entering rooms. There has to be a way to remedy this as the resort is newer. I definitely enjoyed the access to Secrets restaurants and beaches and was treated like Secrets royalty. Would come again but would love for them to do something about mold smell. JANICE in the spa was awesome, special about Shout to her, such a pleasure. We enjoyed the stay and pool parties and drinks..staff very friendly and attentive. Fun trip.

Alistair is the the Best bartender on the whole resort! He’s promptness and his personality is so refreshing!! We hung out with him our whole vacation upstairs at Altitudes! If you’re coming to Jamaica this is the place to stay. I am shocked by how friendly the staff is. 24 hour room service endless vibes and delicious food. Connected to secrets resort and offering more dinning options there as well. Pool parties and daily activities are available. This place is so amazing we did not even have to leave the resort because there is so much to do here. Would give 10 stars if possible

We received excellent service at this resort. The customer service is outstanding 10 out of 10. We had the butler service and we also ran into some really great waiters. One of the best was Donatello at altitude restaurant and at breathless breakfast buffet so awesome. We will be back just for Donatello and our great Butler service Raynard and Craig also so caring! We are grateful we booked here…. The blue Mountain restaurant has authentic Jamaican food, and it was amazing as well

The room was nice however we had an issue with plumbing. We had no hot water.
For breathless to be the “exclusive” side (secrets is connected and within a 5 min walk) all of the amenities are on the secrets side.
A lot of things went wrong at this resort including the breakfast in bed I ordered (extra $200) not only not coming on time but was the wrong order. Dinner on the beach was missed as we were not told it’s a 20min walk and our bullet was MIA (that was an additional $400). The spa was a nice experience but again.. it’s on the secrets resort side as well as the beach and cabanas that you cannot order food from. I would never recommend Breathless. Just stay on the Secrets Resort side.
PS. Breathless actually serves drink, drinks and the Secrets side drinks are more like juice. Drink responsibly 😎

I will start with negative. Humidity is off the charts. Beds could be softer. Need more trash cans setup.
Now positives. Entertainment was off the charts. One name we remember is Super Mario he was incredible. Made you feel welcome and appreciated. To the gal that did omelettes she called me Santa Clause she was great. To the lady that did the pastry, coffee shop she was great. All front desk ladies very helpful. Candle light dinner for our 50th anniversary was memorable. Blue Mountain Coffee on my can’t say enough.

Sandals Montego Bay is the flagship location, and they pride themselves on service! We traveled for our honeymoon and had THE BEST butlers (Dane and O'Shane). These guys communicate and stay on top of things you like. Upon arrival, you're greeted with a smile and they bring you drinks and food when you don't even realize you want it! Though the rooms are dated, the views were spectacular. Everyone we encountered, regardless of their station, were pleasant and ready to chat! When you come with cool vibes, you get cool vibes back! It was a perfect vacation, and we will 'soon come back'! If I could offer one major warning -that would be to bring ALL essentials including Pepto Bismol, cough drops, etc.

We went for a honeymoon last week and it was amazing and beautiful. We loved our room and it was always well taken care of. We were a little lost being that it was our first sandals so there was an intimidation factor and us looking for help. People were helpful for the most part. There were times that service was slow, which I can understand being a lot of people around. We had a time where we were not served at all or waited on and we had to have customer service involved. There were times where the bartenders were indifferent. When we wanted to do water sports we got made fun of for not knowing what to do. We think that it’s Jamaican culture and they’re sarcastic because we weren’t super off putting or awkward. We think they may be just sick of tourists lol. But we still made it fun! None of that ruined our trip. We love how close it is to the airport but we get that people may get sick of the airplane noise. We did book again for next year so it was definitely worthy. We loved our room as well with a view

We just finished another amazing week at Sandals Montego Bay! As always, it was a great time and I can’t wait to go back. No complaints at all, services, food, rooms were all on point this trip. Our butler Orain and Aaron were phenomenal and it was like coming back home. Can’t wait to see them again and all of the staff at MoBay. We loved the new option of Butch’s breakfast, seemed like a well kept secret but we went nearly every day. The staff there made our morning every morning! Couldn’t have started the days better. Everything from the time we got to the sandals check in lounge to the time they dropped us back at the airport ran smoothly and efficiently. Can’t recommend this resort enough!

Very nice resort. The resort is kept very clean. Rooms need to be updated but are clean. Pools could be much much bigger. I was disappointed in the size of the pools. Food was good. But was missing authentic Jamaican cuisine. But we enjoyed the different choices for each night to choose from. Staff were wonderful, very friendly and helpful.
Our butler Stevan was Thee best and helped with a pretty scary situation when I got bit by a bug while sleeping in my room the very first night and had an allergic reaction to it. They have a 24hr nurse station at the resort. They have the ability to call a Dr in and he arrived very quickly. It turned out to be a very expensive Dr visit but it was needed treatment unfortunately for me. I appreciate everyone who treated me with such concern and patience.
I will say that the bug bit me in our room and we killed a couple of other bugs in our room. But did ask for our sheets to be change and room to be sprayed which our butler made sure it was taken care of. So dealing with that issue was disappointing considering this resort is not cheap.
Our other butler Marvin was also wonderful.
Overall we had a wonderful trip and had fun.

It's not the building, views, or even the food that keep us coming back. We just completed our sixth stay here over the past 15 years and some of the same employees are still there. Getting to know the staff is truly the best part. The managers, Omar and Marvin, are running this place as if it was their own home. Always checking on guests by name, checking the food, and really caring about the experience. You will certainly find prettier rooms with fancy bathrooms all over the Caribbean, but you'll never find better hospitality and personalized service.
If you want anything all, just ask. They'll do it! Special lunch? Unique drink? Just ask!
They even provided coffee beans in my room so I could grind my own coffee. Those little touches make all the difference in the world.

We enjoyed every minute of our anniversary trip here. The staff from the managers to the cooks were all courteous and amazing. They made us feel at home as if we were family. This is an all butler Sandals property and Omar and his staff are very friendly and accommodating. You don't have to lift a finger if you don't want to. Hospitality is the name of the game at this resort! The staff know you by your name and really care about your stay. The food and entertainment is also top notch! Our room was very clean and tidy, not to mention comfortable! I love the overall layout of the resort as well as the overall size of the resort. It's a smaller resort, but it's very well done. A must stay!!!

Our first visit and definitely not our last. Tamara and Carlos are phenomenal butlers! Could not ask for better. All the restaurants were exquisite and food was amazing. Water sports crew very helpful and efficient. All staff were always smiling and pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in a beautiful place, this is it. Best hotel I've ever stayed at! Super friendly staff that made you feel like family. Very welcoming and inviting. They all introduced themselves to us and always remembered our names. I will of course recommend this to anyone who comes to visit Ocho Rios. The amenities were amazing as well. from the nightly dessert selections placed in our room, the paddle boards kayaks and sailboats, there were just so many fun things to enjoy. we were also able to stay for the Tuesday night meet and greet with all the staff and managers and an open bar, and then a very lovely dinner on the beach in a buffet format. There was also Thursday movie night which had a nice James Bond movie displayed on a large projector out on the beach. overall, if I could give this higher than five stars I would! It was the best resort I've ever stayed and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

The purest definition of “disconnect”. With no televisions in the rooms, you are guaranteed to reconnect with nature, the sea, yourself and your partner if you bring one. Singles are certainly comfortable here as well!
Classic and authentic in nature and decor, it feels like you’ve taken a step back in time to when things were “simple” and “unpolluted”.
Let’s just say, I happy we made it apart of our “mini-moon” trip! Perfect for decompressing from the busiest of the wedding.

I must say this place is absolutely perfect!! Not a single complaint. The wife and I are frequent travelers. We travel several times a year. I will have to say that this place is by far the best place we have ever stayed. We have stayed at huge all inclusives and luxury villas. But this place trumps all of them. We love how small and private it is. (Which explains why so many celebrities choose to stay here) The rooms are very clean with stunning views. The service is excellent. Staff know privacy and space. They don’t overwhelm you but are very attentive. Once you choose a place to relax on the beach and go for a swim, within minutes they set up your chairs with towels and linen. The food was delicious . The waiters know how to properly seat people with privacy and space in mind. All the staff are clean and professional. They have a beautiful sweet Labrador named Shadow that spends all day on the property and knows basic commands and loves to swim and fetch. Fun fact: Shadow is their 5th generation pet! You can grab her leash and hang out with her for as long as you like. She’s super sweet. I met one of the owners and he was very approachable and was very attentive of your needs. The wife and I have been looking for a place where we can come to every 6 months for 5 days to reboot since our business is so demanding. We found it!!! I am super excited to become a familiar face and establish great relationships with the staffs. The Morrows Family has owned this place since the 50’s and you can tell what their vision is. To be a place of privacy, safety and most of all relaxation. I highly recommend this place. I am now a regular customer at The Jamaica Inn. Thank you to all the staff for such a wonderful experience. See you in 6 months!!!

Favorite place in the world. I have been coming for 13 years now and although the dear people I met there are no longer with us, the memories will never end. Impossible to mention all the things I love about Jamaica Inn, here are just a few: « Welcome home » greeting upon coming in, veranda suite which feels like home, opening the shutters first thing in the morning to the beautiful light, walking barefoot across the lawn to the sandy beach to the warm water, « Blue mountain » coffee in the morning, afternoon tea, cocktail on the terrace under the stars with the sound of tree frogs… it’s the place where my soul feels at home and longs to be back. The only thing I wish for is the time-share option, so I could spend 2-3 months a year there 🤗

Great location. Very private and quiet resort. Granted we were here during low occupancy period with just 15 or so couples. No kids while we were there. Plenty activities. Great food. Very “old school” decadent hotel in a very good way. Owners are on the property to tend to any issues or needs. Looking forward to be back!

Such a fantastic experience at this resort. All aspects of the service team were top notch. Extremely friendly and helpful staff here. The food is exceptional at each of the restaurants (loved the Peruvian dinner the best). The beaches are well maintained and clean. The water is crystal clear. The Beach activities are managed from a third party company. We did 3-4 activities and excursions, and each was enjoyable, safe, and professionally handled. There's some very fast and fun water slides, and a splash area for the little ones. The evening and night shows featured a very talented team, employed full-time by the resort. From fire shows to water shows,
reggae and Broadway nights -each were very enjoyable. Thank you Beaches Negril team for a great vacation!

We loved this vacation for the kids! From the beach to the pool, water park, crafts, shows, games.... there was never a shortage of things for them to do! The staff are amazing and very helpful, the food was delicious and the options are never ending! The property is very well maintained and we loved wandering the grounds looking at all the flowers and scenery, it is a beautiful place!

Mikelia, the Red Lane Spa receptionist, was very friendly and welcoming. I was a little late for my appointment, but she said that was no problem. She made me feel right at ease.
Maxine was my masseuse, and walked me through the procedures, from where the locker room was for changing and then where I would meet her to walk me to the massage room.
My lavender massage was fantastic! Maxine did an exceptional job and was very caring. She remembered exactly where I had my sunburn and was gentle on those areas. After my massage, I almost fell asleep because it was so wonderful. Maxine is the best, I highly recommend her!

Our room had some issues but were fixed within an hour or two. You can't beat the location. Such a beautiful beach. The Jamaican people are wonderful. They are so nice and go out of their way to make your experience incredible. I traveled with 7 grandchildren ages 18 yrs to 5 yrs old. They had fun things to do for all ages. All 7 would love to go back.

I recently stayed at Beaches and there were many aspects of the experience that I truly enjoyed. The food was excellent, and the service provided by staff across the resort—including the front desk, concierge, restaurants, kids club, and entertainment team—was top-notch. The entertainment was lively and engaging, and the character experiences were a big hit, especially for the kids. The outdoor appearance of the property is beautiful and well-maintained.
However, there are definitely some areas that need improvement. Room service was only available to guests staying in the most expensive butler suites, which was disappointing given the high cost of staying at the resort. Some rooms are extremely outdated, with old, worn-out furniture. I had to request a room change because my original room was in poor condition.
There were also plumbing issues—my toilet flooded, the bathtub was loose and “sweating,” and there were visible signs of water damage on the walls, which had clearly just been painted over. Mold was present along the sides of the air conditioner, which raised health concerns and added to the overall dissatisfaction with the room.
For the price of this resort, I expected better. It’s clear that guests in butler suites receive a much higher level of attention and quality, but all rooms should be held to the same standard. I’ve stayed at less expensive resorts that offered more modern, better-maintained rooms and room service for all guests.
Beaches really needs to invest in updating all rooms and offering room service across the board, not just for premium suites. Until these issues are addressed, the value for money just isn’t there.

We spent a week during the holidays there. I think it is a fine resort. Here are the pros and cons.
Pros:
-The staff were very attentive, kind, and always willing to help.
- The resort was very clean.
-The shower had good water pressure and worked well.
-The food was not excellent but decent overall. The jerk chicken stand near the beach was a highlight, and the smoothie bar was good, though it didn’t have many options. I also liked the ice-cream machine in the buffet! The drinks were okay, but higher-quality liquors came at an extra cost.
Cons:
-The resort is quite far from Montego Bay Airport. If you’re traveling with a tour, keep in mind that the bus will stop at multiple resorts to drop off other passengers before reaching yours. The ride typically takes around t3 hours, but due to an issue, ours took 4! If that sounds too long, you might want to consider booking a private transfer—we did that on the way back, and it was much more convenient.
-Although the resort is large, it feels a bit old and outdated. Some parts need renovation. However, it is kept very clean.
-I appreciated the resort’s quiet atmosphere as an adults-only getaway, but at times it felt too lifeless. The entertainments were limited and not very engaging, and there were no special programs for Christmas.
-Despite being in a tropical country, the fruit selection was surprisingly limited—mostly just cantaloupe and pineapple, with the occasional addition of watermelon or apples. There were no lemons or limes anywhere in the resort! I once ordered a mojito, but they couldn’t make it because they had no mint. The restaurant options also lacked variety.

We just returned from our stay at Jewel Paradise Cove and we did not want to leave! The food was, by far, the best we'd had at an All Inclusive resort. We were always excited to see what was available at the buffet, or to grab a delicious coffee (grab your cold brew with some rum cream added, you won't be disappointed!). Don't sleep on the Seaside Jerk Hut! Fresh jerk by the beach was such a treat, especially when paired with a cool drink!
The service was absolutely outstanding. We really loved all the staff we interacted with and the vibe was perfect for our vacation.
The facilities are well-maintained and while most areas were lively, I never felt like any one area was too busy or crowded.
The room we stayed in was roomy and the shower was huge!
Overall, we had such a lovely trip that we're already planning when we can go back. Absolutely would recommend!

I was visiting for the INTIMATE concert and this location was perfect. The service was excellent because A. Stacy from the spa made time for me a quick dry pedicure so I wouldn't miss the concert.
B. The front desk ladies made sure I had transportation to the concert and back to Mobay.
C. When there was a malfunction with my room door, I was relocated next door to a room with a SOAKING tub!! My view was perfect and steps away from the grill, which has the best burgers! The food was just ok, but the PUMPKIN SOUP WAS DELICIOUS. I only ate from the buffet. The Hammock was my FAVORITE spot😍
I have 2 suggestions: invest in better quality mattresses and have Pino Grigio for my next visit!

Below standard rooms. Outdated and over used. Toilets flushed 50% of time and shower leaked everywhere. Liquor drinks were basic. Anything upgraded was being charged at 8 US dollars. Beer was being served warm at best and in a dirty plastic cup.
Food was also basic with no effort by this resort to do anything special or different at Christmas breakfast or dinner. Total lack of effort.
This resort seems to cater to the “day use” locals from 9 am - 6 pm. Good luck getting service by staff at the restaurants near the pools because they will be busy catering to the local users above the tourists who have paid huge to be there.
Totally a frustrating resort to be at for 10 days. Feel cheated out of a large amount of $$. This was our 4th time to Jamaica and we have never experienced such substandard food. No seafood anywhere unless you want to pay for a private meal including a bottle of wine, but get ready to pay the “extra” again. This resort is all about saving $$ and overcharging for what you believed you already paid for.
I would not recommend this place for a vacation.

The Jewel Paradise Cove is a small outdated all inclusive resort and hours drive from Sangster International Airport. This is an older resort so you’re not going to find the “most updated anything” the rooms are older and a bit beat up in some areas though they are very clean. The food is kinda of hit or miss.
I’ve always enjoyed myself. I come for the scenery and location. Tons of trees and plants. You really feel like you’re in Jamaica. Yes I wish it were more modern in areas but I do love this place even though I’m giving it less than 4 stars. I’m just being honest!
Come to the Jewel for beauty enjoy the quiet in this truly unique property!
