The first thing i noticed was 5 mins after being in the room with my shoes off, my feet were black. I could feel how filthy the floor was, that kind if made me feel weird from the start.
We arrived at around 5pm and were told we need to make reservations for the restaurants through the qr code. All the restaurants were booked out for the first 3 days of our trip which meant we had to eat at the buffet; breakfast lunch and dinner for that time. The food was terrible at the buffet. The first 2 restaurants we tried were quite average/ not very good (mexican and tapas) However the italian was amazing, had some very good options. The last restaurant we went to was ‘on the grill’ my partner ordered medium and i ordered medium rare and both steaks were rare. Good flavour tho.
The alcohol was alright, they always put a lot of alcohol in the drinks, however the alcohol was bad quality. The tequila, vodka and gin all tasted the same.
If you can get a good deal and you dont care about good food, i would recommend. The activities they had were so much fun, The rooms are nice, the beach is beautiful the workers are so nice.
DONT BUY EXCURSIONS ONLINE: They have many people in reception that work for these different excursion companies and you can get a much cheaper price through them especially if you buy 2 or 3 from the same person.

What made it special the rest of the trip ,to us it was the people that work within for impressive that we met along the way . First Rainer ( maletero) from picking us up to bring us to our room made the bad experience from front desk so much better for us . A few amazing staff members from the Buffet, Esperanza, Martha, the juice bar lady and some of the cook line folks -Thank You for treating us like family ! Great entertaining group ! Thx for spaghetti for taking the time to get to know you better . Keep up that spirit . Beautiful Beach view , and it was clean the whole time we were there !

Our stay at the Impressive Premium Resort & Spa was truly memorable and made our honeymoon extra special! From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and eager to help — even those who spoke less English went out of their way to assist us with directions and anything we needed.
We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a beautiful beach-facing room. The variety of food options and daily activities was excellent, and the shows each night were definitely worth both the time and money. The drinks at the Premium Beach were fantastic, and the bartenders were amazing with a bit of swagger to their service which added personality.
Special recognition to the kitchen, service, and housekeeping teams — you can tell they take real pride in their work. A very special thank-you to our butler, Jose Tema, who checked in with us daily to ensure we were enjoying our honeymoon and continuously offered ways to make it even better. Jose and the team went above and beyond by decorating our room and turning it into a truly special occasion. That kind of world-class service is something we’ll never forget.
We’d also like to mention Luis Vega, our destination service representative, who clearly explained the transportation process to ensure we didn't miss our flight and gave us great advice to make the most of our trip.
While the resort was undergoing some construction during our stay, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. It’s an amazing place to visit, and we loved all the different restaurant options that they had, enough for us to try a different style of restaurant each night. I’d highly recommend this resort to anyone — especially if you’re lucky enough to have Jose as your butler!. An amazingly friendly guy who was very humble to his core.

Let's split this into parts:
Service: terrible. Like really really terrible. We told them we needed a crib three times before arriving and reserved a room with two beds so our other child had a bed. We arrived, mentioned it again during check-in. Got to our room, only a king bed in it. Called and told them again. Then called again. And again. And again. Three hours later we found a housekeeper in the hallway, she radioed another housekeeper, then five minutes later we had both. Everytime we asked, they said "it's on the way". This type of experience happened over and over again in many different ways.
Food: it's bad. No way around it. The Japanese place on site is the only one that is ok but that's because they use soy sauce to season. We didn't get sick but I talked to people who did.
Price: it's the cost of a four star but it's a three star hotel, maybe two.
The room: we had bugs in the bathroom and the air conditioner couldn't get the room below 78 degrees. The sheets smelled damp the whole trip. And there was a period of four hours with no water in the whole resort. We didn't want to move rooms because of how hard it was to get in our room in the first place.
The view: incredible!!! Our room was next to the beach and pool and drinks. Super convenient.
The grounds: incredible!!! Kept very clean and nice.
The activities: really good for our two kids.
Overall: I'd never ever ever go back.

What a lovely resort, we have been here for 4 days so far and I’m from the UK so might differ my opinion compared to other American reviews.
The pools are great, warm and they have activities in the pool to keep you entertained during the day. Though the floor is very crumbly and paint chipped everywhere but doesn’t ruin the overall experience of the pool. The beach is stunning that the hotel owns, like a little paradise there’s a bar on the beach as well just before you go onto it. All the drinks are exceptional for an all inclusive hotel (I’ve stayed in all inclusive and they’ve always been really crappy) but these ones are nice, they do slushy pina coladas and daiquiris and whole menu of inclusive cocktails, rums, tequilas, gin and tonic and so on.
There’s reps everywhere selling excursions and you can get them cheaper to what you’ve found on GetYourGuide.
The food is delicious that they have here, breakfast was my favourite there are so many options for food plenty of fresh fruits and different food every night and they also do freshly stone baked pizza every day.
The rooms are okay, the thing is the rooms are decent nothing amazing but beds are comfy you get a little balcony but the bedroom smells musty especially when you turn on the air con.
Also if you miss dinner there’s a snack bar open till 2am near the pool! This was very handy for us as we arrived at midnight and was really hungry it was a saviour!!

Friendly and kind staff (especially at the lobby bar). Good and fun entertaining programs at the pool. Food at buffet was okay. Ice coffees and frapes at Palm Coffee Shop are amazing!
Do NOT use the taxi service hotel staff will recommend (bellboys) - at the airport their drivers (pink shirts) will hand your luggage to a random guy demanding money afterwards. Better arrange a transfer/taxi/uber on your own.

This was our third stay at Grand Palladium. You really do feel like you go from guests to family. We are bravaro travel club members, but with bravaro under renovations I wasnt sure what to expect. Our room was perfect, we had 3 girls in a loft bedroom. Plenty of room and space for the 3 of us. The entertainment this year was awesome, the palace lobby had alot of show nights as well as we did the white party and the chic cabaret. THE FOOD, I felt this year was the best out of the 3 years I have been there. Buffets had a ton of options and the a la cartes, were so good. My favorite restaurants were Sumptori, Helios, Caprichios, Bhogii. The beach was stunning. The spa was a 10/10 of course. We did a private party boat excursion that was also 10/10. This resort is truly the best of the best, from the facilities, entertainment, food, beaches to the people. We really do feel like family here. HUGE shout out to Maritza for always making sure we have everything we need, checking in on us (before, during and after our stay) we love seeing her every year. Another huge shoutout to Christopher and Julio, our drivers for the week. They were so kind, funny, and always willing to drive us around. They were also very fast to communicate with on WhatsApp on the resort. Another huge shoutout to our Palace lobby bartenders/ servers... Jyostin, Angelique, Lyuigi, John, although we just met Angelique this year, we have known the other boys for 3 years. Every time we see them they are just as happy to see us, as we are of them. They know our orders off by heart, they are kind, sweet, and funny. We go for a drink before supper every night just to see them. They all treated us so good. We love our nights at the lobby and WE LOVE YOUU!!! ❤️ can't wait to come back next year xoxo Victoria and the girls 💕

I stayed at Puna cana building 40. Room was beautiful and the private swim up was amazing. Maritiza was so kind and helpful. She always makes us feel like home away from home. She makes sure all the details are what you asked for. She planned our dinner reservations and anything and everything we needed she took care of immediately. Shes so good at her job and always greets you with a beautiful smile. She makes sure your vacation is relaxing and fun. I tried several restaurants and most were really good. David at Helios was extremely helpful to me because I have a nut allergy and he made sure I had no problems. He also told all the restaurant managers so i wouldn't have issues anywhere i went. Osias also made sure i got everything i needed and always stopped at the table to check on me. Such a wonderful young man.Stephanie and Angela are a good hostesses always trying to help everyone find a good table. Jesus i think is his name manager at La Boheme made sure we were taken care of and that we got whatever we wanted both times we went. He even helped get me a special dessert. Angel from travel club always makes sure to greet me and see if he can do anything to help me. Estarlin is one of the nicest guys there he always greets you with a big smile and he doesn't forget you. Humburto at travel club lobby is the best bar tender around. He will find a drink you like even if he makes it up on the go.The travel club drivers. Ovandy Christopher Felix Jhan Carlos Edwaurdo Caleb Jouquin have all been there a while abd take excellent care of me anytime I am there. They are all so much much fun and always make the best of it. Im sure I forgot some people. there are many great employss that go above and beyond. Only think I would improve is POP . Used to be a fun time dancing with them but something has changed. Shaggy, Cappuccino used to really make things fun and get people dancing and party going. Lately just not same. Bring back Shaggy and Cappuccino or someone that bring that energy please. Thank you

The bathrooms in the rooms really need upgrading. I was put in a room with a loft which had mold and the front desk manager didnt want to move us. After insisting, i was finally helped and even upgraded.
Overall the service is great but Ambar in customer service should not be customer facing as she is nasty and clearly has a chip on her shoulder.
Indry, a trainee, was fantastic!
Food is good.
They are properly staffed and most staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
I would revisit but hope Ambar has been moved by then.

I had a wonderful holiday at the Grand Palladium. The resort was beautiful, clean, and offered everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly and always willing to help, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
A special shout-out to Estiven from the entertainment team — he was absolutely excellent! His energy, professionalism, and ability to get everyone involved made every activity fun and memorable. The entertainment overall was very good, but Estiven truly stood out.
I would definitely return and recommend the Grand Palladium to anyone looking for a great vacation with top-notch entertainment.

Had a great stay! The restaurants were delicious, everything seasoned perfectly. The buffet was medicore, not much variety day to day. We enjoyed our room, our housekeeper was great. The resort makes you feel at home. All the staff are friendly and hospitality is perfect. The beach is beautiful long stretch. Wifi needs some work, very spotty and constantly having to resign in. The entertainment crew was amazing. Upbeat, fun and had a game for everyone. Flavio and Leonardo or Lorenzio was their names. Very kind from the entertainment crew and made us feel welcome and appreciated when participating in activities. Will definitely visit this relaxing resort, (not for those looking for a party) very chill vibe. Thank you for everything.

The room in this resort is nice and clean, with the AC system working perfectly. In the buffet area, there aren’t many choices and the food tastes below my liking. This is by far the worst wifi I have ever seen on a resort. The wifi did not work at all and you could only connect using you cellular data. For the price we paid and not having access to a wifi is unacceptable. I will not come back.

We have been to many all-inclusive adults only resorts in Punta Cana. Punta Cana Princess is an older resort and the rooms are not updated with all the new tech stuff (USB chargers, fancy lamps, etc.) but they are maintained and look nice. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. There was one large pool, compared to other resorts that have multiple pools. The outstanding part of this resort was the beach. Probably the best beach we have been to in Punta Cana. It is wide and nicely slopping into the ocean. There is no coral or rocks in the swimming area and the seaweed was at a minimum. The beachside bar was nice and bartend staff very friendly. The beachside restaurant/bar has very nice seating and is open very late. There were just a few small restaurants that had good food (a very unique fondue place was cool). A nice surprise was the main dining area with buffet. Every all-inclusive has these as the main place to eat and food is not usually very good. However, this buffet was excellent! Food changed a little every day and was very fresh and tasty. If you want to try an all inclusive for the first time to see if you like it, this is the place. Lots of good stuff and it won't break the bank. We upgraded to the Honeymoon suite with the VIP package, definitely worth the little extra money, if you can afford it.

Location is amazing, right on the beach. The room need a MAJOR upgrade. The electricity in my room keeps cutting off, 4 times during my week stay. First night the electronic door doesn’t work so anyone can open it from the outside. Good thing I notice bc same night a drunk guest keep thinking it was her room and try to open it at 2 AM. AC didn’t work just blow out warm air. Security box keeps saying error when I tried to open to get some money out.
The staff was extremely nice. Waiter name Elvis was always up beat and smiling. Cleaning lady was extremely helpful. Always bring me drinks for my mini fridge and towels.

We recently stayed at this resort and overall had a lovely experience. The property is very clean, nicely renovated, and family-friendly, making it a great choice for a relaxing getaway. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, which we really appreciated.
There are, however, a few areas that could be improved:
The AC in the rooms needs an upgrade. We had to change rooms three times, and each one had issues with humidity and poor cooling.
The food could be better, especially by offering more kid-friendly options such as chicken strips, French fries, fried shrimp, and fried calamari. The seafood selection was also below expectations.
I noticed many reviews mention friendly staff, and while everyone we met was polite and helpful, the overall warmth and enthusiasm felt a bit missing — a few more smiles would make guests feel even more welcome.
We had some difficulty communicating in English, as around 80% of the staff we interacted with did not speak it well. However, this wasn’t a big issue for us — everyone tried their best to assist, which we truly appreciated.
Overall, it’s a beautiful, clean, and family-oriented resort with a lot of potential. With small improvements in comfort, food variety, and communication, it could easily become a perfect five-star destination!

We had an amazing time visiting this resort. The animationteam gave us a very warm welcome and made our time here so much fun! They do a lot of fun activities with the guests. Especially Eunice, because she really took the time for us and often came to talk with us. She is super friendly person and a great dancer!

I had an incredible time at the Caribe Deluxe Princess! The resort is beautiful clean, tropical, and full of good vibes. The food was delicious, the pools were always spotless, and the beach was absolutely stunning.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the animation team, especially Flavio and friends they brought so much energy and fun to every activity. I joined the volleyball games with him on my first day, today my team won at the Olympics pool games and it was such a great time ,full of laughter and good spirit.
The night shows were also amazing full of color. music, and talented performers, the Michael Jackson performance was on point. The entertainment really makes you feel like you’re part of something special every night. Overall, this was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. Huge thanks to Flavio and the whole team for making it so memorable. Oh and for Leonardo for the bachata's classes.

We arrived on Sunday, November 24th, 2025, hoping to make this a special trip for our twin boys’ 13th birthday. Unfortunately, nothing was done by the resort to acknowledge their celebration, even though we noticed other guests receiving special attention for theirs.
We experienced several issues with our room. The air conditioning never worked properly—we had to place towels under the door just to keep the room somewhat cool. The toilet backed up, and we were moved to another room that had no window, which felt very uncomfortable and closed-in.
Connectivity was also a challenge. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable, which was difficult for us as traveling professionals who need occasional access.
At the sports bar, the bowling turned out to be mini bowling and quite expensive. The food there wasn’t great either—our loaded nachos arrived with only cheese sauce and none of the toppings listed. We had similar concerns with the beach restaurant; many of the fried items tasted old. The Japanese restaurant was another disappointment, especially for our kids, who were expecting a hibachi-style show that didn’t happen.
On a positive note, the staff around the pool area and at the buffet/market were friendly and helpful.
However, the excursion we booked to swim with sharks and stingrays was alarming. We were disturbed to see dolphins kept in a very small enclosure, which we would not have supported had we known. Additionally, our family was transported on a very small boat without life jackets, despite rough waves and yellow/red flags. Even as strong swimmers, we did not feel safe.
In our room, we also encountered several maintenance issues: a non-functioning phone, a smoke detector hanging from the ceiling, a loose shower head, and a very cramped toilet area with transparent glass. We requested an ironing board one evening and never received it.
We shared our concerns with management, but aside from apologies, nothing changed. We also sent an email and did not receive a reply.
This was our children’s first vacation, and we truly wished it had been a more positive experience. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this resort based on our stay. Wish I could give zero stars.

Great hotel, I enjoyed my stay. I came alone, but was not bored at all. All thanks to the animation team. A lot of activities, they try to involve and entertain the guests. I loved activities during the day, foam party, shows at night and dances. The only thing hotel can do better is food. There is a big variety of food but it is not as tasty. There are restaurants you can go to but its hard to make a reservation, most restaurants are all booked out for few days.
The territory is big and decent maintained, there is a shuttle between areas, birds walking around. The team is nice and friendly. Rooms are in good condition.

AMAZING beach, great staff. Overall a good resort. Things to do for kids is lacking a bit BUT they always find things to do at these resorts.
Food was OK. removed a star as 6 out of 10 of us got super sick. VERY sick.
Have been to many resortrs and this one is nice for sure. Not a ton of walking. 24/7 coffee shop is cool.
Preferred guests only can use the kids splash pad.

I’m giving this a 3 star as I felt there was a miss for the resort as a whole to be a 5 star resort. The rooms in general are clean and nice, the resort is small and very limited in the amount of activities to do. After 4 days, had pretty much seen it all. The bar staff seemed to be annoyed when asked for drinks and weren’t the best, while I had some of the waiting staff that were really great. Shout out to Pedro who was one of the best waiting staff that we had during our stay. We were invited from a member at the member rate but this required us to go through a sales meeting. We agreed to this commitment and they originally told us this would last 90 minutes, but when we started they changed this to 120-180 minutes. When we complained they threatened to charge us a penalty. We found this to be a huge sour point in our vacation. The location is not close by. We flew into Punta Cana as flights weren’t available to La Romana which required an hour+ drive to get to the location. Also, the maximum we were able to walk on the beach was about 1km so if you want to walk around, note this is very limited. The resort is very quiet, other than the shows they put at night there isn’t much going on after 11pm. Not sure why but we heard many people including some of us, got stomach issues from either food poisoning. We noticed that some water bottles that were given to us by staff were not sealed properly and the burgers at the beach grill seemed to be undercooked.

It was an absolute amazing stay! Nothing short amazing !! However the hotel needs to be more careful on who they allow into there compound ! Specific the Fire and Water show had merchants there two weeks ago and finds out you speak English they make up a bs price for a bottle of mamajuana and two necklace for 300 dollar us then after I told them off about there little scam they sat down and sold it for 40 dollars an absolute disappointment to have people like that scamming honest ppl who come there for vacation don’t get me started on there cashapp bar code that comes up as a scam everytime ! Great place great ppl who works there but the scammers they let in there is absolutely ridiculous

We stayed at the Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa with my girlfriends family and were blown away by how amazing the experience was. Miguel and his team ensured our stay was comfortable and had the chef accommodate all of my girlfriends dietary requirements to a tee (vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, corn-free). All the managers (William, Julio and Jairo), waitstaff and chefs at the Coastal Grill took such great care to detail when serving for us, and the hostess was always very kind and welcoming. Rooms were clean and cozy, and the restaurants were all delicious.

From the moment we arrived at Dreams Dominicus La Romana, we felt welcomed and cared for. We were warmly greeted at the Preferred Guest reception, where the staff explained about the resort, gave clear directions, and shared the QR code for activities. Our concierge, Kissairy, then whisked us away to our room. We were blown away—our family suite was beautiful, spacious, and had a great view.
As we explored the resort and headed to the beach, we met Luis from Amstar, who helped us understand excursion options and book an incredible family day trip to La Hacienda. The excursion ended up being one of the highlights of our trip—fun, exciting, and memorable for everyone.
The resort’s food and drinks were some of the best we’ve ever had at an all-inclusive. We enjoyed:
• Flying Fish for breakfast
• Himitsu for a lively hibachi experience
• Seaside Grill, where we had amazing steaks (special thanks to Yason, our favorite waiter)
• World Café, which truly had something for everyone
• The Preferred Club buffet on the beach
• Excellent pizza at La Trattoria
The overall vibe of the resort was relaxed, family-friendly, and sprinkled with touches of luxury.
We also want to recognize Samil, our bellhop, who was fantastic. He picked up our bags exactly on time and made the wait for Amstar enjoyable with friendly conversation and great service—such a helpful and kind way to end our stay.
Another standout staff member was Ray, our favorite bartender at the Preferred Club beach. He treated us like family, going out of his way to find Corona for us and keeping our kids stocked with frozen lemonades all day long. At Scuba Caribe, we were equally impressed—the staff there were welcoming and attentive every single day. We rented paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkel gear multiple times and always had a wonderful experience.
We visited the spa as well, and the whole family enjoyed relaxing massages. Evenings were also fun—we enjoyed the pool table in the nightclub and appreciated the kids’ club for our 9- and 12-year-olds.
The beach was clean, the water was beautiful, and the entire resort was well maintained.
Overall, this was a fantastic family vacation. Dreams Dominicus La Romana exceeded our expectations in every category—service, food, activities, and atmosphere. We would absolutely return!

We spent ten wonderful days at this beautiful 5-star resort in the Dominican Republic and couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease — the entire property is well-maintained, welcoming, and perfect for relaxation.
Culinary Highlights:
The food was absolutely outstanding. From the breakfast buffet to the lunch and dinner options, everything was varied, fresh, and incredibly delicious.
Beautiful Beach & Great Facilities:
The beach was simply stunning — wide, clean, and truly picturesque. There were always plenty of loungers and Bali beds available, so finding a comfortable spot was never a problem.
Exceptional Service:
A special thank you goes to our butler Alex, who was always warm, attentive, and quick to assist with any small requests we had. Her thoughtful support made our stay even more enjoyable.
We would also like to highlight the amazing bar staff:
Minerva and Carlos at the adults-only pool bar, who were incredibly friendly and took wonderful care of us.
Fernando and Lloyda at the beach bar, who greeted us every day with a smile and provided fantastic service and great drinks.
Marino at the Piano Bar also made us an amazing good by cocktail as we were checking out!
A Small Note on Restaurant Service:
While the overall experience was excellent, we did notice that service in the restaurants could at times be a little slow or not fully attentive. This didn’t overshadow our stay in any way, but with just a bit more consistency, the dining experience would be truly perfect
Conclusion:
A truly perfect vacation with excellent food, a breathtaking beach, and an exceptionally kind and dedicated team. We can wholeheartedly recommend this resort and would love to return in the future!

We stayed here for over a week for our destination wedding and we are so happy we made the decision to have it here. The resort is huge and the grounds are beautiful. We stayed in Colonial but the other 2 are a walkable distance if you wanted to explore. The food! The food was really good for resort food, especially the hibachi and Italian food on the Elegance side, and the Hibachi and buffet in colonial. The drinks are strong and tasty, and I love the amount of bars throughout the resort especially on the beach and near the pools. Pools and beach were also well maintained. Our wedding coordinator, butler, and other staff were so kind and attentive, and our wedding was just beautiful. Only complaint would be the management lack of communication when things like transportation, laundry, room service, etc were needed, and the wait for towels by the pool. Overall, it was a beautiful trip and would return!

Current reviews of Majestic Colonial are not accurate. It is not a 5 star resort. Most reviews are likely bots or paid reviews. Giving this resort a 1 star as current reviews are overrated.
Stayed at the Majestic Colonial second week of December, 2025.
Positives:
- White sandy beach, and can walk along the entire shoreline passing other hotels.
- Close proximity between rooms, pools, and beach which is great for families with kids.
- Decent selection of liquor and bartenders pour appropriate amount of liquor into each drink.
- Good wifi coverage at the resort.
Negatives:
- People are smoking everywhere. No smoking zones.
- Rooms are very outdated.
- Shower faucets falling apart; poor shower drains; moldy.
- Toilet stall is extremely small; if you are taller than 6 ft your knees will extend past the bathroom door.
- Toilet stall is not segregated from bathroom area; little privacy with glass door.
-Not enough hangers and drawers in room to arrange clothing.
- Rooms are not properly cleaned by staff. Room service mainly replaces bed sheets and towels without actually cleaning the room.
-Staff does not speak English which makes getting help extremely difficult.
- Food selection is mediocre. No variety each day. Limited variety of fruits.
- Difficult to reach main desk. If you need something, you need to make a few calls from room before anyone picks up, and basically need to approach the front desk in person.
- Safe in room needed to have a password reset as someone likely tried to find the key combination to access the safe.
- Staff doesn't appear to provide the customer service experience even when tipped.
- Wifi password not provided upon check in nor found in room. Needed to call the main desk a few times to get wifi password.

It is our 2d time in this Hotel and we loved our stay in Majestic Colonial so much that we will definitely come again. The rooms are perfectly ok, the beds are comfortable and you have enough space in the wardrobe to keep your stuff clean and organized. The Food is AMAZING! Even if one wasn‘t hungry anymore one just couldn‘t resist „overeating“ because everything was so tasty! Fish and meat BBQ every day, different salads, cheese plates, fresh juices.. I want to be honest - we will really miss this! Yummy, high quality and addictive each day, whole day! People and Service are motivated, friendly and enjoy what they are doing! We are from Brazil and were initially very concerned about the food options at the Grand Bávaro Princess. I must say the resort didn’t disappoint us in any way. All the restaurants are wonderful, offering countless food options, and overall, you are well taken care of at all times. The restaurants themselves are also stunning — truly beautiful spaces that feel elegant and refined, almost like dining in a fine-dining venue. Everything is gorgeous.
The resort is huge, with a beautiful structure, and the rooms are incredibly spacious. We stayed in the Platinum category and have absolutely no regrets. The Platinum beach area is excellent, and the Platinum pool, located close to the beach, is also very good — much quieter than the main pool. The Platinum drink selection is far superior to the regular options, with many high-quality beverages and amazing cocktails.
I would also like to express my gratitude to the bartenders Marino and Glenys at the Platinum pool, as well as the bartenders at the beach bar. They are all extremely kind, friendly, welcoming, and always eager to make your experience better. Their service is truly outstanding.

We just returned for few short days in Grand Bavaro Princess to wrap up our Dominican Republic visit. Mind you we are from there, living in Canada now. The resort is beautiful and I loved the mix between human and nature, there are a bunch of pools, the beach is nice, restaurants are beautiful and the food was pretty good. However, I found that the few issues that arised during our stay was so completely ignored, that I had to warn future travelers.
We are a family of 4 with a two year old child. When we got to our room, it turned out that the mini fridge wasn't working (it was disconnected at the time), which we connected and kept waiting for it to cool.off as we had milk for the baby to obviously keep cool, while the temperature outside was 31 degrees. We picked up the phone to call the front desk and report the fridge- the phone was not working. We ended up going to the front desk 3 times in one day to flag the issues and they told us that tickets have been created and somebody will be coming to check both - fridge and phone. Never happened during our stay. We were also told that ice will be sent in the meantime for the milk - never happened (on 3 different occasions). We ended up going to the closest bar (having to find a plastic bag from somewhere in our luggage), so they can give us ice. The bathroom door wasn't closing, my husband took it into his hands to fix it.
We were there to celebrate my birthday and after making a restaurant reservation for 8pm, our group of 11 (8 adults and 3 kids) arrived and a very arrogant host said it is at 8.40 instead and nothing he can do. Long story short, we went into a very unpleasant 10 mins discussion (ON MY BIRTHDAY) during which he was clearly getting more and more aggravated and pretty much told me if i dont like "to go out there and file a complaint" and "nothing he can do". Mind you the restaurant was and remained half empty for the rest of the evening. Me, coming from customer service wasn't gonna let that go. Asked for the manager, at first he didn't want to bring him, raised my voice,a man in a suit quickly came. Filled him in on the situation, he didn't seem too concerned until I mentioned taking this issue to Google and Tripadvisor and those seem to be magical keywords and in the next 10 mins we were given a table. The host changed his attitude, came to ask again who's birthday is it, etc. And started saying how they will do a surprise, sign, whatever. We ordered appies, meals, desserts - not even a candle was brought out, much less any acknowledgement of the occasion. It seemed as he was just mocking the situation. Absolutely not the experience I imagined for the long planned birthday celebration at the Grand Bavaro Princess.
Would I go back - not. I will bring my cash to a place that makes me feel wanted and appreciated as a guest. Punta Cana is FULL of beautiful resorts. Hope they take a note and train their staff better.
Note: all the wait staff that worked on oyr tables was great! Wish they would just attend issues before they turn into unpleasant memorable situations.

Before the trip we read some reviews and were a little worried, BUT it turned out that everything here is wonderful!!!
The rooms are modern, beautiful, and comfortable. Housekeeping was excellent every day with fresh towels. We stayed in complex #2 with a sea view, just 100 meters from the beach and the kids’ pool 😍
The air conditioning worked well, and there was internet in the rooms (for an additional fee).
No cockroaches or bedbugs in the rooms!
The minibar was refilled daily (the only thing is we would’ve liked more beer), but since we lived near the pool bar, we brought drinks ourselves.
Children
There was a kids’ program every day at the kids’ club and at the children’s pool — music, dancing, and a kids’ disco every evening. My daughters had so much fun, and we are incredibly grateful to the animators from the kids’ club.
Service
All the waiters were friendly and always greeted the children warmly :)

The meat and fish didn’t taste very good, and we were a bit afraid to eat them.
The pasta, pizza, and hot appetizers were good.
There were no seafood dishes at all in either Trapiche or La Hispaniola.
Also, the fruit selection wasn’t very big.
We only managed to visit two à la carte restaurants, but the food there was quite tasty.
The beach is clean, they remove seaweed every day (although there isn’t much of it). The whole territory is well maintained and the pools are cleaned regularly.
Transportation around the resort
We were probably lucky with our accommodation because our stop was the first one on the resort train route, so we could always get on and go wherever we needed.
People who lived in the middle of the resort often saw the train already full and couldn’t get on.

The washroom was gorgeous, but the window leaked when it rained. The balcony was spacious. The living room ceiling leaked and caved in during a thunderstorm and we have to switch rooms.
They definitely lost points for having twin beds - at least get doubles.
The grounds were clean and beautiful. The beach was ok. The main pool was way too crowded and loud. The "relaxing" pool was also very loud and not relaxing at all.
The buffet was good, and the pizzeria was fantastic! The sports bar was nicely air conditioned, but the food was burnt both times we went there.
The spa was nice, quiet, and clean.
The shuttle was great because the property is humongous, and they increased service during the rain.
The shops on site are expensive for the most part. Souvenirs were cheaper at the airport going home.

We came to celebrate our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Excellent service, fun activities and a wonderful beachside dinner for us platinum guests. Dalvid is a wonderful karaoke host, Estefania,Mayerlin are great hostess as well . We definitely recommend everyone to try out their Platinum package it is 100000% worth it . We will definitely be coming back soon . The food was 100% delish and the service was amazing. Can’t wait to come back ! Most unexpected honeymoon trip and was wonderful.

Being greeted with such beautiful smiles, and enthusiasm was absolutely inviting and set the tone for our friend’s wedding week and so Heartwarming. This is an amazing hotel, but it's more than that. It's a full service resort. The staff is completely professional and dedicated to service and excellence. The rooms are beautiful and the ocean is as clear as can be. You can snorkel, you can swim, you can scooby dive. You can kayak, you can take out catamaran. You can have any food imaginable and catered to your taste. Buffet for every meal and plenty of restaurants to choose from. I was here for over a week and was not bored ever. There is a kids club and lively nightly entertainment. Highly highly recommend this for anyone looking to truly vacation and disconnect.

We're disappointed with this hotel; it's definitely not a 5-star hotel. We got sick on the fifth day, with diarrhea and vomiting. We're sure it was after visiting the Sakura restaurant. I didn't think this would happen to us because we're three times more careful about hygiene, but it did. At the end of our stay, during check-out, we were asked if we liked it. We said there were a few things that were average, but the check-out lady wasn't interested in asking what was wrong, so I assume she wasn't interested. It's disappointing. Many staff members clearly expect Tips. They change their attitudes towards guests when they serve them, which unfortunately results in unequal treatment. The food is the same every day, while the selection in other 5-star hotels is wider—breakfast and lunch are the same every day. We Were preferred and it wasn't worth it. For example, were we supposed to have a personal check-in? There wasn't one.
There was a small mold growth on the ceiling in the bathroom.

The food was easy and great! The service is beyond good. We stayed at the preferred side and were taken care of by Amelia and Rosie daily. They were so polite and prompt with us. The rooms were nice, the location to everything was so easy. It never was overwhelming with people, it never felt crowded or congested at anytime. I had a fantastic experience at all of the a la carte as well. Alejandro was a host with the most. I was impressed with the staff's promptness and straight forward approach dealing with allergies as well. So efficient and so personalized should you make it known to your server.

Our stay here did not meet our expectations but we made the best of it and had fun - how can you not in DR.
The rooms were large but not neatly maintained/ updated borderline dingy. The sofabed was large and appropriately done up for the kids to sleep on and it is nice to share a room and not be forced into a suite or adjacent room as a family of 5.
There was a giant plastic blimp in the middle of the room that served zero purpose and about the only nickelodeon centric decor seen aside from random orange. The Orlando hotel does a much better job of character/theme rooms.
We had to ask for a replacement fridge as it didn't work, the door to the toilet stayed neither open or closed , we had to ask for a stool so my children could reach the bathroom sink to wash their hands
Everything is an add on -Character Breakfast, Family Slime, Cabanas etc that then pulls you into a member (timeshare meeting) that we have zero interest in.
There is strict schedules for seeing/getting pics with characters most actual things for the kids are on the other side of the resort that requires a trolly ride
Dining is not kid friendly there isn't even plastic dishware for them to use which is something we have consistently seen and used at other family resorts.
To top it off there was feces in the junglegym of the water park that took a ridiculous amount of time to be addressed and cleaned up after notifying different staff members
My children acquired Coxsackie (Hand foot mouth) disease from this facility, which they have never had before not even in school, daycare or their swim school.
I also did not appreciate being solicited to write a Google Review by a staff member while at the water park and to stand over me to watch me write as it felt pressured and obviously dishonest.
The main infinity pool and beach were enjoyable we ended up spending more time there than AquaNick esp after that poop experience
They do not serve Presidente which is kind of absurd considering it is THE beer of the country. The food was subpar, but Wok Wok and Spacewalker were the better options. The Bartender in the courtyard during dinner /evening time made delicious drinks. The IceCream bar was great.
We've honestly had better overall service and a more family friendly fun at other resorts in Punta Cana that also have water parks and kid play areas. Here they ride the wave of being a known name/Brand but are really lacking in terms of facilities, cleanliness and a kid friendly and family inclusive experience

I usually read other people’s reviews to help me choose a hotel. So, I hope this is helpful to you. We had travel complications and missed one night at resort. We did call and explained wasn’t looking for no compensation but was looking forward to go straight to our room when we arrived. We waited for 2 hours until we got in our room. The TV had another guest name so we couldn’t order room service from the TV. I called for it to be fixed nobody came. We didn’t have hot water another fix. We didn’t receive our pictures we paid for. I could get over the language barrier but service is service. Whether it’s an expensive or less expensive stay and in this case it was expensive stay the service should be exceptional. Our room was the plunge pool room which was beautiful and the view was amazing. Have extra money because you will have to pay for different experiences if you like too.

Had a great stay with the family. Everywhere we went we were treated with so much genuine joy and excitement. Specially the entertainment team, they really made our vacation a success. Specially Luis, Oliver and Tuti fruity. They made us feel like family and made our days super enjoyable. The staff at the buffet helped us celebrate my dad's birthday, loved them too. Myself ,my best friend and her mom had the pleasure of staying in the Elegance club ,adults only section. It was amazing. Our rooms were close to the beach. We really enjoy private areas away from the large crowds. The staff was very helpful, special mention to Santa ,the waitress/ bar tender who helped me to feel better after some stomach upset with her BOMBA drink. The hotel is beautiful. My friend and I played pickleball 10 days, loved it! WE used a local cab from the airport instead of the hotel transportation, much more affordable and safe. Rooms were clean and it wasn't noisy. Large selection of good even though I am a vegan, i found many things to eat. Entertainment was good as well, beautiful long beaches to walk, we used the gym as well, great equipment and staff. Butler service was helpful az well. Would diffinately come back, thank you for a perfect stay.Only thing I would recommend is screens on the patio doors.

Trip was great. Juan our butler went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. The entertainment team was awesome. Great shows and very friendly people. Tutti fruity was the best. The room was always cleaned well. Loved the Japanese, Italian, and steakhouse for dinner. The only down fall to vacation was having to wake up at 6:30am to go find a cabana/pool chair for the day. People were putting out towels and reserving the night before. People were also reserving early in the morning and leaving their belongings for hours unattended. This needs to be regulated.

Casa de Campo Resort was absolutely exceptional. From the resort itself, to the food and the amazing friendly, helpful staff, it was amazing.
My husband and I have recently returned from a week's all inclusive holiday and it was my husband's birthday while we were there. The staff made us feel so special especially on his birthday.
The resort was absolutely stunning and there were so many different amazing restaurants to choose from as part of the all inclusive deal, and the food in every single one was absolutely delicious.
Our room was beautiful and kept immaculate by the hotel staff.
We have been to all inclusive resorts before, but this is in a different league! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! This resort delivers a true all-inclusive vacation experience. Their customer service is top notch—every staff member goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for. The rooms are beautiful, and the housekeeping and turn-down staff are phenomenal. Each year, the staff at the pool bar and breakfast buffet remember us! I imagine they meet hundreds of people every weekend, so being remembered by them is incredibly special and meaningful. For many years now, Carlos, Jonathan, Roberto, and Johan have been serving us at the pool bar (near the main reception desk), and their kindness and attentiveness have made us feel like family. Carlos even remembered my favorite drink from my previous visit.
Also, the staff at the breakfast buffet is top notch. Benjamin, Leonardo, and Roberto bent over backwards to make sure we felt at home and our coffee, water, and fresh smoothies were topped off at all times. And Benjamin remembered me from my previous visit, as well.
We will continue coming back to a resort that makes us feel like family while delivering top notch, luxury service.
We highly recommend the resort and the golf courses.

So you cannot go in to visit musuem unless you take a taxi with their own drivers. We took Uber and were not allowed in. So we had to come back to port and take their own shuttle. Even with its beauty I would not go back.

Lago had the best breakfast and lunch. Every day different food. Very polite waiters. Junior, Ramon, Jenny, Leon, Leonardo I don’t remember everybody’s name. Italian restaurant was the best. Clean beach and blue water.

My stay was great. Came with the family for thanksgiving and mom’s bday. Beautiful resort, food was good, the service in some of the restaurants was very slow, but it didn’t take away from our experience. The entertainers at the resort were so great and always tried to make everyone dance and do the daily activities. Bolivar was our butler throughout the trip and he was more than awesome, was very accommodating and answered any question we had at any time of the day. He even prepared a very nice surprise for my mom’s bday in the room. He genuinely wanted to make our trip the best he could, would highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay at the Majestic Resort in Punta Cana! The property is beautiful, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want on a tropical getaway. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pools were always lively, and the beach was absolutely stunning.
One of the best parts of my trip was the entertainment team — especially the activities coordinator, David “La Mamba.” He brought so much energy and fun to every event. From pool games to nightly activities, he made sure everyone was having a great time. His personality truly elevated the whole experience!
If you’re looking for a resort with great vibes, friendly staff, and plenty to do, Majestic is definitely the place. I’d 100% come back!

Just returned from a fantastic one-week holiday at the Majestic Mirage. The staff throughout the resort—from the towel attendants and room cleaners to the bartenders and food servers—were absolutely wonderful. I don’t think I encountered a single rude moment during my entire stay.
Our butler, Morillo, was amazing. He took care of us every day and kept us informed about the daily events and activities. I will definitely be asking for him again.
The food was excellent, and the Christmas decorations were truly a cut above. They made the whole Christmas atmosphere feel so beautiful and special.
I also want to give a special mention to my favorite bartender, Cesar. He makes the most amazing cocktails, crafted with care and beautiful attention to detail. The lady at the Martini Bar also deserves recognition—she makes the best martinis, though I’m sorry I can’t recall her name. She and Cesar are truly the best!

Majestic Mirage is a great hotel and a perfect place for a family vacation. There is a lot to do, a good gym, and separate adults only buildings for guests who want a quieter atmosphere. The beach is amazing, we tried the banana boat attraction and had a lot of fun. The foam party in the pool was also a big highlight for us.
The only thing I would love to see is a bit more variety in the food.
I want to give a special thank you to our butler Bolivar. He always made sure we were taken care of, prepared a beautiful birthday surprise for my wife, decorated the room and made the whole day feel very special. We truly appreciated his kindness and attention.

We really enjoyed our stay at TRS Turquesa. Some of the highlights were the ocean, the pools, and the service. The rooms were acceptable, but had some quirky features or needed minor maintenance.
The Las Torres buffet was a really. The sit down à la carte restaurants were hit or miss. My two favorites were Kusko and Bhogali. Don’t expect to have fast service at the restaurants, it is more of a laid-back environment. Expect to spend a minimum of an hour.
Our Butler, Jean, and Steven at the building 58 pool bar, both provided extraordinary service, were polite, and always had a smile.
As a recommendation to the resort, I recommend more lunch options and even some quick grab and go food locations. Helios needs to change up their morning buffet options. 95% of the items were there every day. Some variety would be great.

We had an amazing stay at TRS Turquesa in Punta Cana. Everything about the experience was excellent. Our butler Edward was the absolute best. He was kind, generous, attentive, and made our trip feel effortless and special.
The food across the resort was fabulous. We tried Helios by the beach, Kusko which serves Japanese and Peruvian fusion cuisine, La Boheme which offers beautiful French dishes, Capricho for international options, and El Dorado Steak House in the adjoining Palladium area. Every restaurant was delicious and the service was wonderful.
The pools were amazing and always very clean. The drinks were great everywhere we went and the bartenders were friendly and fun. The maids kept our room spotless each day. We also had massages at the spa and they were incredible and very reasonably priced.
Overall TRS Turquesa exceeded all of our expectations. The staff, the food, the relaxing atmosphere, and especially Edward made this an unforgettable vacation. I highly recommend this resort and I would happily return.

Very mixed experience after a week here.
Let’s start with the good. The drinks were almost always great. Our butlers in building 55, especially Kris, were responsive and helpful. The gardens on the resort were well kept and beautiful, so were the sports courts. The main pool was nice, though we could never find a chair as they were all reserved at all times with no enforcement of the explicit no reservation policy.
However, the beach was filled with sargassum the whole week we were there. While this problem exists elsewhere, this resort never bothered cleaning the seaweed more than once a day. The beach was also at the very end of the complex which means you’re next to several boats and vendors - not super relaxing. Talking about vendors, they would bother us several times per hour while we were at the beach, including people who were employed by the resort itself. Does that seem like a five star experience?
The food was average at its best. The buffet food was always lukewarm, both the food that should be cold and the food that should be warm. I also got very sick from the food for the last few days, even if I had been carefully washing my hands and drinking only bottled water.
I know the resort will answer this with a generic response saying that they hope I will have a better experience next time but I can assure you I will never spend another week of vacation there. There are plenty of better, less run down hotels to visit for the same amount they ask for or less.

I had a group of 14 that celebrated my birthday and wedding anniversary at TRS turquesa. We were lucky enough to enjoy Seven full days at this Resort. Our Butler was Meldy, he was so helpful and kind. Meldy had a way of making you feel welcome as if you were family. I'm sure it was not easy to accommodate a group our size for dinner reservations but he always found a way to make it happen. Chic Cabaret is a must see!!!! I was not only the guest and host of our group but the travel agent as well. I will 100% recommend this Resort and if our Travelers are lucky enough, they will also get to meet Meldy.

This is an amazing place for families. They have lots to do like waterpark, theaters, bowling, arcade and just lots of space. The resort is very large and the service is great as the staff goes above and beyond to help. Rooms could be a bit more cleaner but they were okay. AC really drys out the air and takes some time to get the room cold. The resort is really large and so there is no need to run to reserve spots in the morning like other resorts. Food is okay for vegetarians and vegans but there are options like a vegan burger which is hard to find at any other resort. We would come back as they have a reach nice beach front, lots of space, good enough food options, lots of pools, and service is great. Just watch out for the sales folks who pretend to be your friends.

We just got back from a family vacation at Hard Rock Punta Cana and overall had a really good time. I went with my wife and our two kids, and there were plenty of fun things for all of us to do throughout the week—pools, activities, and enough going on that the kids were never bored. They absolutely loved it.
The food was good across the board, with lots of variety, but there were high wait times for a few of the more popular restaurants, especially at peak hours, so be prepared for that. Our room was good—comfortable and clean—and the service overall was solid. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
One annoying thing was how hard it was to break 100s or get smaller change; it became a bit of a hassle at times. I’d also strongly recommend avoiding the membership / timeshare-style presentations—they’re a waste of time and can cut into your vacation.
The beach itself is nice and the water is great, but the area could be cleaned up a bit more to really match the rest of the resort. On the plus side, the main lobby is lively and fun, with good music and a great crowd, so it’s a nice place to hang out in the evenings.
All in all, we had a good family vacation, and the kids had a blast. A few minor frustrations, but a fun, memorable trip.

This resort exceeded my expectations. Very well maintained. Clean rooms though beds and pillows could be more comfortable. The hospitality was amazing from the restaurant/buffet staff to the front desk to the bar attendants. Everyone was just so nice and courtesy and really cared. The food was gourmet for an all inclusive resort. Truly have not had better food at an all inclusive and I’ve been to so many. There are four restaurants and one buffet. They also a restaurant with live entertainment and an experience but that was for pay. Pools were clean and nice. Beach was clean of seaweed but smelled like fish so we just played in the sand. Several activities throughout the day and nighttime entertainment was great. Overall would highly recommend.

We just returned from our second trip to the Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana. We travelled with our 4 year old son. We loved the hotel last year and this year did not disappoint. This resort is incredible.
Rooms: We love the rooms...we were 3 adults and 1 child in the sofa bed and it didn't feel cramped at all. There was a ton of space to put your luggage and lots of drawers. The shower pressure and toilet flushing and AC were all great (always an issue down south) and the room was very clean. The minibar was always stocked. The patio is nice and big. A tip: don't pay for an ocean front room as all of them have some sort of ocean view. My only complaint is that they got rid of the casting option onto the tvs (they had it last year).
Pools: There is one giant pool with tons of chairs. The resort wasn't at max capacity however even last year we never had an issue finding chairs. There are a ton of shaded areas everywhere. They offer their own floaties and if you bring your own they will pump it for you. We loved the pool bar. A big shout out to Juan who always remembered my son's Banana shake order and was extremely professional and courteous.
Food: The food is very good and very hygienic. The buffet has a great choice of grilled meats (lamb chops, ribs eyes, chicken) and grilled seafood (mussels, salmon, tuna, octopus). Everything was very well seasoned. The a la carts service was a little off (not the Chinola; there it was great) but food was always great. a plus is also the resort only uses bottled water.
Service: The service is impeccable here. There is always somebody ready to help you. The public bathrooms everywhere are impeccably clean and there is always someone cleaning something somewhere.
Gym: the best gym at any hotel anywhere hands down.
Activities: lots to do for the kids...movies at night outside, silent disco, fun shows, karaoke, fake birthday parties. you name it.
Beach: We travelled early November and the Sargassum was pretty bad at the beginning of the week. It got progressively better as the days went on. The water was swimmable but not pristine.
All in all we love this place. We felt extremely safe and well taken care of. We will be back for a third time next year!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, and I'm delighted to share our outstanding experience at this beautiful all-inclusive resort.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by every aspect of our stay. The property itself is absolutely stunning, with immaculate grounds and a perfect blend of luxury and Caribbean charm. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, greeting us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that made us feel truly welcome throughout our entire visit.
The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully appointed with all the amenities we could want. Our accommodations offered spectacular views and provided a peaceful retreat after days filled with activities and relaxation.
The resort's facilities are world-class. The pools were pristine and never felt overcrowded, the beach was gorgeous with plenty of comfortable loungers, and the various dining venues offered excellent variety. We particularly enjoyed the dinner restaurants, where the quality of food and service was exceptional.
One small area for improvement: While breakfast offered good variety and options, the quality didn't quite match the exceptional standards set by the rest of the resort's dining experiences. Elevating the breakfast to match the dinner service would make this resort absolutely perfect.
Overall, Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. The combination of stunning location, outstanding service, excellent amenities, and attention to detail made this a truly memorable vacation. We would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious all-inclusive Caribbean getaway and look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful property, but the seaweed situation is disappointing.
One of the best things about this hotel is its size, it's perfect because you're not walking 15 minutes from one place to another like you do at other resorts in the area. The food is tasty and the water park is fantastic for kids, they had a blast there.
Now, the sargassum is real. We went in late October and the beach was completely full of it. Here's the worst part: both hotels adjacent to the Hyatt clean their beaches every single morning. You can clearly see the difference. Hyatt has apparently reduced this maintenance cost and does it way less regularly, which is really disappointing for a property at this price point. This made it so guests weren't getting into the water at all.
Another downside if you're traveling with kids, there are way less surprises and entertainment compared to other resorts in the area. No costumed characters walking around, no kid-friendly shows or activities that really engage them. The water park is great, but beyond that, the kids' programming feels pretty bare compared to what you get at comparable resorts.
It's frustrating because everything else about the hotel is great, but when you're at a beach resort and can't enjoy the beach because of something that could be managed better, it really affects the whole experience. The neighboring properties prove it can be done - they have clean beaches every morning. For what you're paying at the Hyatt Ziva, you'd expect the same level of beach maintenance and kids' entertainment. Such a shame because otherwise it would be a solid resort.

We just returned from an incredible week at the Hyatt Zilara, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The quality of the food and the variety of restaurants were outstanding—far beyond any other hotel we’ve stayed at. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, with an attention to detail that made us feel like part of the family.
We stayed in the Zilara section, which is adults-only, but the resort also offers the Ziva side for families. Every evening featured fantastic shows, along with surprise performances by talented artists in different areas of the resort.
Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a breathtaking view of the beach and ocean. Housekeeping was impeccable, with daily cleaning, evening turndown service, and even midday visits to ensure we had everything we needed—water, towels, and more.
I highly recommend trying the Blind Butcher experience. This specialty restaurant, available at an additional cost, is absolutely worth it. The culinary experience was phenomenal, complemented by live performances every 15 minutes, including dancing and singing acts that made the evening unforgettable.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Pedro Thomas and his entire team, with special recognition to Jenny and Darling for their exceptional hospitality. A big thank you as well to our butler, Osiris, for his attentiveness and availability throughout the week, and to Anthony and Daniela from The Pier restaurant for their outstanding service.

A Perfect Paradise – Unforgettable Stay at Hyatt Zilara Dominican Republic!
From the moment we arrived, our experience at Hyatt Zilara Dominican Republic was nothing short of spectacular! Jesus welcomed us warmly at check-in, setting the tone for an unforgettable vacation. Our butlers, Junior and Lois, went above and beyond every single day—whether it was reserving the perfect poolside spot or anticipating our every need with a genuine smile.
At the pool, the energy was incredible thanks to the amazing bartenders—Alfoncina, Maria, and Jose—who kept the drinks flowing and the good vibes alive. Ignacio, the talented mixologist, crafted the most creative and delicious cocktails we’ve ever had, while Georges at the bar always made us feel like old friends. Carlos, the barista expert, started our mornings right with his perfect cappuccinos and warm personality.
Our room was always spotless thanks to Magalis, our wonderful housekeeper, who added thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. At the restaurants, Yamilett, the hostess manager, ensured we always had the best tables and service. Edgar Garza was ever-present, checking in to make sure everything about our stay exceeded expectations.
A special shoutout to Crystal and Catherine, the incredible masseuses at the spa—their massages were pure bliss and left us feeling completely renewed.
Every member of the team radiated warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. Hyatt Zilara Dominican Republic is truly a slice of paradise, but it’s the people who make it extraordinary. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana! 5 nights was not enough! The property is stunning, the service was impeccable, and there’s plenty to do or relax. We loved Manuel with entertainment and Larissa our butler (included with Club Level)! I was waited on hand and foot! Very different from my normal life as a mom. We went for our anniversary and can’t wait to come back with our kids!!
The Ziva side has an amazing water park for kids! This property and staff blew my expectations out of the water!

I have so much to say! What a great experience here. I am a returning customer and based on my first visit I decided the Hyatt. Zilara is where I wanted to have my elopement. It was a small event, just me and my now husband, but our wedding coordinator, Martha made us feel like we were as just as important as a party of a 100. No detail was missed. I felt as special as any bride should feel! Our butler, Andreas had special treats sent to our room and a beautiful Bouquet of flowers sent on our special day. Even our waiter, Santo made us feel special. We literally had zero stress from the day we arrived to our check out. Our photographer, Ryan was amazing in seeing my vision and was allowing me to add my spin on shots. I can go on and on about this place, but don’t waste any more time and just book the trip! If you’re looking for a safe place to relax, eat great food, have great drinks, receive great service JUST BOOK IT! You will not regret it! Beach is beautiful and pool is great never over crowded always a plus for me! Book your next stay here and they will handle the rest. Enjoy!

If I could give this resort 6 stars instead of 5, I would. The attention to detail, the service, the food, the rooms are all spectacular. My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at this lovely resort. Our guests did nothing but rave about their stays and we had over 100 guests. When it came to planning our wedding, their wedding team went above and beyond to ensure our day was special. They were so accommodating and communicative that it made stressful situations, like a tropical storm, easier to navigate with their unrelenting support. I would recommend this resort 1000 times over and we simply can't wait to visit again.
Some recommendations: I recommend staying in the castle for the butler service because they help with reservations to some of the restaurants and keep you updated on events. The events they have daily and nightly are thoughtfully put-together and are great to participate in. Keep in mind that different restaurants are open on different nights. If you don't stay in the castle, they have an app through Marriott that makes it easy to keep track of all the events happening! Happy travels!

We chose this luxury resort to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary after doing a lot of research.
Before coming, we saw a few reviews that made us a little uncertain, but we decided to experience it ourselves — and we’re glad we did!
This resort is adults-only, which makes it a perfect place for couples who just want peace, quiet, and relaxation.
The staff are very friendly, and the food is overall good.
If I could suggest one thing, it would be to have some small evening shows or live music — it would make the nights even more enjoyable.
We also loved spending time at the pool bar, sipping cocktails and just unwinding.
I especially recommend the Asian restaurant — the food and service were both excellent.
If you’d like to receive a bit of extra attention, leaving a small tip goes a long way.
We truly enjoyed our 4-night, 5-day stay here.
Also, I highly recommend joining a local tour. It costs around $50 per person and makes for a fun and fulfilling day.
Just keep in mind that the resort photos online look a bit more glamorous than reality — so try to come with an open mind.
Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this resort!

Our stay at this resort was excellent! We had an absolutely great time as well as rested.well Great friendly staff service, food, location and entertainment. .Our butler Carlos did everything he could to make sure our stay was extra special. He was always available to serve with anything we needed making sure that we were always satisfied. The only downfall was the closed beach due to accumulated seaweed this year. Fortunately all the 6 pools were amazing with clean crystal clear water. We will definitely go back. We recommended if you like a quiet, beautiful, friendly environment to have fun and rest.

I have been to this resort 4 times and was informed that this resort is NO LONGER including the Town in its all-inclusive package. This is a very expensive resort without much night life and a beach that is not great. The Town was one of the best features of the resort. I am never coming back to this resort after learning that the Town is not included. Every year it appears this resort is getting more cheap ...last year they decided to end free room service. Getting rid of the Town is the last straw.
Bye bye Sanctuary, it was nice before, I now will look for a more affordable resort that isn't cheap as heck.

Recently stayed here for our honeymoon we stayed in the premium JR luxury suite. Which offered a jet bathtub on the balcony which was gorgeous for sunrise soaking which we did on at least three occasions. This room was plenty for us it offered a closet and a bathroom along with a king sized bed. The pools were great and there were many to chose from, staff would come around offering drinks or clean towels while you relaxed. One day they even served pina coladas out of pineapples! The food was equally good we tried all the different restaurants with our favorite being the WOK! This is a formal restaurant so dress code and reservations are required but it was worth it. Portions were large sometimes we could not even finish all the food. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable environment. We can’t talk much about the nightlife as we are early risers (hence the sunrise) but while talking to other I did hear there’s a nightclub which offered karaoke and dancing sometimes shows. We did managed to catch the circus show and that was incredible! Very talented performance.
