My wife and I are just finishing 6 days here and we had a fantastic time. We had an Xhale club swim up. The room was great easy access to the pool and the beach. Xhale club had great cocktails, Murphy is an incredible mixologist. The swim up was nice after a day at the beach. But the big difference from other places we have been is the level of service and the friendlyness of the staff. Glenny our butler was incredible, any thing we needed he could take care of it. Juan the restaurant manager did great extras for us just because we asked. Daniel and Tairon at the pool bar, Yenny at the beach to Marty the towel lady. Hilary at the Xhale restaurant check in. Just a great experience!

We had a blast here. We we're very spoiled with Jaime our butler was the best I've ever had. I would 100% recommend you ask for Jaime. Alejandro checked us in and gave us a gift package with coupons for the spa services and money off for bottles of wine on the beach. He was very nice and professional. Felix and Luis in the preferred bar were great. Then at the pool we loved Jorddy, Juan and Edward at the preferred pool bar. Coral and Maria were great around the pool. I think Raphael the young man with a smile at the food truck area was my 2nd favorite he was just always so nice and always had a smile on his face. Emmanuel was great on the late shift in the preferred reception. He got me special pillows. Although my favorite the man the myth the legend was Francisco in the Sports bar. He is a tiny older man with a bald head who stole my heart. He was trying to teach me more Spanish and I never had an empty drink. He would bring me another one. I absolutely loved him. He mad my heart smile. Loved him. Alejandro I can say upgraded us to one of the nicest rooms we've ever been in. Look at my videos. The resort was the second nicest resort we've stayed at next to Secrets Moxche in Mexico. The trees, the beach, the pools. Everything. I can say if you want a medium steak ask for it as rare. That's the only thing I would change was the cooking of the steaks.

This was such an amazing experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Manager, Gregory always made sure we were enjoying our stay and asked if we needed anything. Lucie accommodated us at check in when we weren't totally satisfied with our room. Jacob took care of us several times at breakfast and dinner and knew exactly how we liked how drinks. Andrea was such a friendly soul during our time on the beach. Her smile was so infectious and she made us feel like she enjoyed taking care of us. Hands down, one of my best experiences in the Caribbean! My only cons were that our face clothes didn't get replenished daily. We always had to call for them. Some of our food would come out cold or luke warm, but they always corrected it. They had this amazing chicken sausage, but only served it once during our 5 day stay.

You will love your stay! Very clean and beautiful resort. The staff is super friendly, helpful, personable and fun! Upgrade to Exhale for your personal concierge. Jesus was ours and he checked in with us every day and booked all our services and made sure we were aware of all the amenities! We all loved him! He even gave us rides to dinner in golf carts. The exhale bartenders were also amazing! Murphy and Yarina remembered our drink orders and took awesome care of us! The experience was excellent and I’m beyond impressed with all of the staff.

This place was a blast! It was so gorgeous! If you do it, upgrade to the Xhale VIP! Worth the money!! The Xhale bar and pool are amazing. Yarina, Murphy and Yenny were the best servers and bartenders we had during the trip! Not to mention the extremely cold AC in this bar! Our concierge Miguel was amazing!!! He text everyday to see what we needed! He always made a point to come see us during the day! He helped with all the planning of events! Everyone was so nice! The housekeepers were amazing as well! Everyday came back to a spotless room, clean towels and typically came back at night with the bed turned down with rose petals. The food….we were a little skeptical before we arrived wondering how well an all inclusive can do with food. This was hands down the best food!! We had beef tenderloin more than once because it was so good! Did the Lobster dinner on the beach and it was the best!!! It was all so good! Highly recommend Breathless!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I came here for my 26th birthday and it was one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. The food was amazing with so many options, including vegan choices, and the drinks were just as great. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful anytime I had a question, they never hesitated to assist. Our rooms were cleaned daily, and the entire resort was well kept. What I really appreciated was the guest services area where you can book excursions right on-site. It made planning activities so easy and affordable without having to leave the resort to search for options. From start to finish, the service, food, and overall experience were excellent. I truly loved my visit and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at this resort. The weather has been amazing, even though the weather apps kept predicting rain — when it did rain, it only lasted about 10 minutes at most. The room could use an upgrade; while it’s spacious, it feels a bit dated. That said, the facilities here are fantastic. There’s loads to do — definitely enough to keep you busy for two weeks. The staff have been amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Steve, the marketing manager — he stopped us on our first day to introduce himself, get to know us, and share useful info about the resort and things we shouldn’t miss. He even offered better discounts than others we’d seen, so be sure to find him and have a chat. His English is excellent, too

i was a little disappointed by the buffet food, but some of the options were still nice! i just wish the food was hotter. i enjoyed eating at kyoto and santa fe. the entertainment team is so lively! i enjoyed dancing with chocolate and another woman (i didn’t get her name, she was slim with wavy hair), and i loved watching the other dark skin woman (mayi) on the entertainment team dance! i stayed a week by myself and the staff was so welcoming and entertaining! Maria S. from el caribe buffet was so friendly, i enjoyed talking with her. i will definitely try to book again! after reading some of the previous reviews: i was lucky i didn’t have no issues with my room

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend babymoon. The resort was great. The rooms were clean and upkept well while we were there. The beach and pool were beautiful and we didn't struggle to find chairs at all. The only slight downside was the food. It left a little to be desired, especially from the buffet. The restaurants were much better. We had a great time and felt very relaxed by the end of the trip.

Honestly, DO NOT STAY HERE unless you’re on a very tight budget. The money you’ll save by coming here is NOT worth the expense of a very comfortable and relaxing vacation. There were so many cons of this resort that I had to start making a list so I’d remember. I’ll spare you by only naming the most notable ones. But I’ll be fair and give the pros too. Pros: Affordable, staff is friendly, nice pool, food is overall good, there’s really great live entertainment and shows, room is spacious, five restaurants came with the basic all inclusive package, and the guest services and cleaning crews are prompt with requests. Above all, the food and entertainment stood out for us. The nightly shows at the Palace were super fun and well put together. And the food at the restaurants available to us with our package, although VERY hit or miss, had a lot of hits! Now, on the cons. A lot of things are not included!!! For example, room service is not included and many of the activities the website advertises are not included. You also often find yourself hungry and with nowhere to find a snack, because there is no food at the pool or at most of the bars. There’s one place in the Palace (a short train ride away, though you have to wait 10-15 mins for the train) that’s open 24 hours and has a buffet of bar-like food. Otherwise, you have to go to one of the other buffets during their hours. Further, the train from bavaro beach (adults only) to bavaro palace is very infrequent and the system itself hard to understand, especially since trains go in different directions to different parts of the larger resort without any sort of signage. We got lost and missed dinner reservations. Now, on to the room. There is no shower curtain for some reason, so be prepared to have water all of the floor constantly. More importantly, the bathrooms are moldy, most notably around the handles and corners. There were also old blood stains on many of our towels, which is DISGUSTING. Further, they clearly don’t change the sheets everyday like they are supposed to/say they do. I know this because my bonnet left a mark on a pillow case one night, and it was the exact same pillow case when I got in the bed the next day. Amazingly, what ACTUALLY broke the camel’s back for us was when dozens of water BUGS crawled in under our door after a rather heavy rain. It was disgusting!!! In conclusion, don’t stay at Bavaro Beach. You’ll have better luck at the Palace if you’re willing to deal with kids or have kids. Otherwise, STAY AWAY!!!

We had the preferred club swim out suite and went for our honeymoon. The resort was beautiful and clean. The service was friendly and the entertainment was awesome. We were really impressed by the food and entertainment during the trip. We recommend this resort for anyone looking for sun and some fun. Our butler (Dainy) was great and very helpful throughout our stay. We went in October during the week so it was not too busy. By the weekend, it got busier. We had no issues getting a table for dinner. Some negatives would be that the preferred pool does not have enough chairs. They filled up almost immediately in the morning. I could not imagine how it would be during peak season. We found ourselves in the main pool a lot but also for the entertainment. If we stayed here again, we might not to the preferred club if going in the off season. I recommend the swim out room. When the pools close and you need a quick dip, the private pool was awesome. We also did the romantic dinner but wouldn't again. It was not private and there was about 10 other couples. We didn't get the value for the price. If you are looking for a quiet resort, this is not it. This is a fun and lively resort which we liked a lot but not for everyone. It did wind down after 11pm except for the nightclub.

We came here for our honeymoon on a spontaneous decision, and thank God we did! We had an absolute blast 😊 thank you for making our first week as newlyweds so amazing! We would like to give a special shout out to Irving for welcoming us in, showing us around, keeping us up to date with the daily events and giving us the smoothest checkout possible. He was just super nice and we just had an overall great time with him! We also would like to give a big, super shotout to Jhonaly! Being vegan was a bit complicated for the first night as no one knew that I was or that I had food intolerances. The second they knew I was though, I was taken care of and was put in the most capable and caring hands! Jhonaly helped me out so much when we would go eat. She went way above and beyond. She was also super friendly and just a really nice and wholesome person! She was always spot on and made sure that my food was carefully cooked and separated. I couldn't have been in more trusting hands and I thank her for that! We want to also give another shotout to the Drifter Pool Bar in the premium section! Thank you Obispo and Sebastian for always supplying the party! They were always such a great and fun vibe, amazing bartenders, super friendly and always knew what to make when you would give a simple description of what you were feeling! All in all, the workers were always super nice and welcoming. I've already told my husband, and he agreed, that we will definitely be coming back and making it our annual tradition!

I recently stayed at Secrets Royal Beach as a solo traveler, and while I was a little nervous at first, the staff immediately made me feel at ease. Everyone was so warm and welcoming that I never once felt out of place traveling alone. The restaurants were good – I especially enjoyed Bordeaux for its elegant dining experience and Himitsu, which had a great show from the Chef’s cooking in front of you. There were plenty of options to choose from, so I never got bored with the food. The entertainment team was outstanding. They not only kept me entertained but also made sure I had company throughout the trip. There were great shows every evening and tons of activities during the day, from water aerobics to dance lessons. A huge shoutout to Francis, Nova, J Low, Jorgi, Flower and Junior for going above and beyond to make my stay so much fun! During my visit, there were some issues with sargassum on the beach, but the hotel worked hard to clear it daily, and I really appreciated their effort to keep the area as beautiful as possible. The rooms were a little dated compared to some newer resorts, but they were kept very clean and comfortable, which is what really mattered.

Had a wonderful 5 days at Secrets Royal Beach with my wife and 18yr old daughter and her friend. We were staying in the preferred area and had the walkout to the lazy River. Super Brian was our butler and was always available and saw us everyday. We enjoyed the beauty of the resort and loved the lazy River pool and infinity pool. We enjoyed the food options and even headed to Portofino on the Dreams side for dinner one night. Our girls had the best time and thanks to the entertainment staff and bar tenders they were always centre of attention. They loved the special pineapple drinks they got made for them and had a hard time saying good bye to everyone on the day we left. I had great experiences with all staff especially Robert G from the preferred lounge at the pool he always took care of us and tracked me down on my way out to the lobby to leave. Hard to leave this resort and the wonderful people.

My experience at Secrets Royal Beach Punta Cana was excellent from start to finish. The resort felt like paradise—beautiful pools, a stunning beach, and spacious suites with every comfort. I loved the variety of activities during the day, from water aerobics to dance lessons, and the nights were full of energy with live shows and themed parties. The dining was delicious, the drinks always flowing, and the spa was the perfect place to relax. Most of all, the staff made me feel truly cared for, always friendly and attentive. It was an unforgettable stay, and I can’t wait to return.

⭐️ 3.5/5 – Mixed Experience at TRS Turquesa We stayed at TRS Turquesa for 10 days (Sept 23–Oct 3) and while there were definitely highlights, several issues made the experience less than perfect. First, we had to move rooms twice — the first room was very dated with yellow stains in the bathtub, and the second had broken AC. The third room was much better, but these issues early on definitely affected the start of our trip. To their credit, the front desk and butler team handled the changes professionally after some back and forth, though it did take effort. Service-wise, the staff were mostly wonderful — special thanks to Felix and Cristobal (drivers), Jesus at Helios for breakfast, and Luis at the front desk for their friendliness and professionalism. My second butler in Block 51 was excellent and really made a difference, though my first butler was not as attentive. Food across the resort was quite good with plenty of variety. We especially enjoyed La Bohème and the Indian restaurant — both worth a visit. The pool area was another highlight and probably the best part of our stay. That said, there are some areas that could be improved. Bartenders were generally not very friendly, and there were too many sales pitches from spa staff and travel service reps. We also got roped into a 5-hour presentation that we’d strongly suggest skipping. The constant push for tips and upsells throughout the resort was frustrating at times. Overall, we did enjoy the trip and appreciated the resort’s amenities and lovely staff, but the room issues, upselling, and inconsistent service make it unlikely that we’d stay here again.

The location of the resort is located on a beautiful beach with a perfect spot to watch the morning sunrises. The grounds are beautiful and sparling. The rooms are located in two locations. The ones closer to the pool and lobby and the main breakfast and lunch restaurant. Those buildings form a U shape connecting with the lobby. Those rooms are outdated but nicely located. The rooms outside that location are closer to the other restaurants and while not as close to the pool and the beach, they are newer and have an updated feel and are still within a short distance from the pool and the beach. The food was delicious at every place we went to. It would be hard to pick a favorite place. The TRS Lobby is a luxurious place to relax in the evenings. With excellent drinks at the lobby bar and musical entertainment. What makes this resort amazing is the service. The staff are amazing from check in to check out. Our butler's Meldy and Jean were very helpful in assisting with any of our needs the whole trip. At the beach restaurant, Heilos, Angela and Stephanie remembered our names and even our room number and welcomed us warmly each day. At the TRS swim up bar Yeyro and Angelo served us drinks each day, remembered our orders and interacted with the guests in a way that made each day in the pool fun. The staff working the pool was amazing as well. Dolores and Eiln checked in on us very often making sure our drinks were always refilled and bringing us food from the grill if we ordered that. Dolores even remembered us from our previous visit last year. Everyone always had a smile on their face and would stop anything they were doing to answer a question. We recommend the TRS/Grand Palladium brand to all our friends and family. This is our 12th visit to one of their resorts. The service is always amazing, the resorts offer a luxury experience that is consistent across their brand. Especially the TRS resorts.

We had a wonderful stay at TRS Turquesa in the Dominican Republic. The location is fantastic, right along the ocean, with beautiful grounds that are kept serene and well maintained. The rooms were clean and the pool was easily accessible, even after a heavy rain when everything stayed spotless and usable. While the rooms could use a bit of updating and maintenance, the amenities were adequate and comfortable. The service was truly the highlight of our trip. Our butlers, Manuel and Sterling, were attentive and handled every request with ease. At the pool, Fairney was one of the best servers we’ve ever had—an absolute highlight of the week. In the lobby bar, Adames was our go-to bartender and was excellent, and Yeandra stood out as a fantastic waitress with warm, friendly service. Our favorite restaurant by far was Kusko, where Wilkins took great care of us. The food was fresh and delicious (though I’d skip dessert), and the atmosphere was perfect. From start to finish, the staff made our experience memorable. Even at departure, Christobal was a delight, helping us with our luggage and driving us to meet our transportation to the airport. Overall, TRS Turquesa delivered a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, thanks to its beautiful setting and the incredible people who work there.

Johanna was a great butler. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and she decorated our room one night. She was very sweet and helpful. Rooms and other and facilities were very nice and well maintained. The bartenders were a little slow with service, especially at the pool, but other than that, I have no complaints. Overall great experience and would return to this property.

Very relaxing vacation. The staff couldn't be more accommodating, friendly and warm. There is no shortage of people wanting to work here. The health club is larger and better equipped than most membership gyms back home. The spa and the massage were the absolute best we have ever had.We highly recommend this resort and we will be back again

What a great all inclusive stay! We typically visit the Excellence Resorts and this experience topped it. Great accommodations, top tier service, extremely comfortable pool chairs, great food and variety. The buffet and staff were incredible! Special shout out to Dio who we met while finding our way through the resort. He was extremely helpful and walked us all the way to the spa. He is on the entertainment team and made us feel special each time we saw him. We loved the pool cycling and games! We will be back.

The BEST!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ This was the first trip booked through COSTCO TRAVEL. It was such an easy process I would definitely use them again. The hotel and experience exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious at all restaurants as well. At the INDIA restaurant the executive chef served our appetizers Yum!! The best of all was the customer service. All staff made you feel welcomed and taken care of. We did not leave the resort. From the lobby you can see the pool, beach, and breathtaking views. If you need to get to the beach to sooth your soul this is the place to be!

My husband and I went to Sanctuary on our honeymoon. Overall, we had a good experience, but there were a few things that we were disappointed with. We had never been to an all-inclusive resort before this trip, so we were hopeful that this one would live up to the hype we had heard so much about. The best thing about this resort is truly the staff. They were always kind and eager to help us in any way they could. Shoutout to Antonio with activities for being so fun and keeping the energy up by the pool during water gym! The service here was truly excellent. The grounds of the resort are absolutely stunning and very well maintained. We constantly saw staff making sure that high traffic areas were picture perfect. Another great aspect of the resort is Sanctuary Town. We found that it was our favorite aspect of the resort, and some of the best dining as well! We ate at least 5 or 6 pizzas over the week- they were out of this world! We also enjoyed the burgers and ice cream there as well. Our room was in building 1, and we were on the first floor. Our view was incredible; however, our room looked like it needed some TLC. While very spacious, it looked run down and like it was in need of some extra cleaning as well. There was red lipstick on the bathroom mirror, the shower would leak when the room above us was using theirs (it even shut off completely once when the person above us turned theirs off), and it looked like nothing had been dusted. This is definitely a chill, calm resort, which is exactly what we wanted. It was not crowded during our visit, and we never had to fight for a chair or umbrella at the pool. The beach was not available for use during our stay other than sitting in the sand, and there was caution tape marking off the shore, but this was not a deal breaker for us. One of the biggest frustrations we had was the restaurants' schedules. The app would say the hours were one thing, while in actuality, it would be something different. We tried to eat at the steakhouse one night because the app said it was open, but when we arrived, it was closed. The staff didn't have an explanation, so it seems to be something that is out of there control. We never got to eat there even though we were there for a whole week. The Italian restaurant was just okay, as was Blue Marlin for dinner. Wok was our favorite of the sit down places we tried. The breakfast buffet was good, but got to be a bit repetitive since the same exact things were being served each day (at the time of our trip, the buffet was set up at Blue Marlin and not at its usual location). The food was very hit or miss. If some of these issues were resolved, we would love to return, but if we plan to visit the area again, we would probably consider a different resort before coming back.

Our stay at this resort was excellent! We had an absolutely great time as well as rested.well Great friendly staff service, food, location and entertainment. .Our butler Carlos did everything he could to make sure our stay was extra special. He was always available to serve with anything we needed making sure that we were always satisfied. The only downfall was the closed beach due to accumulated seaweed this year. Fortunately all the 6 pools were amazing with clean crystal clear water. We will definitely go back. We recommended if you like a quiet, beautiful, friendly environment to have fun and rest.

Vacationed here for our honeymoon and we have all wonderful things to say. Joan, our butler was one of a kind and such a nice guy. The staff was always friendly, attentive and greeted us when passing by. We loved the restaurants - especially the Wok and the Cappriccio Italian. We got a couples massage with some spa time and it was absolutely lovely. We were there 6 nights and got to almost all the restaurants except sushi and pizza! We loved going to the coffee bar in the morning for Frappuccinos and then the pool each day - there were always fun activities going on as well. The seaweed did not bother us at all, plus there was a public beach next door. We’re so grateful for such an amazing honeymoon!

Recently stayed here for our honeymoon we stayed in the premium JR luxury suite. Which offered a jet bathtub on the balcony which was gorgeous for sunrise soaking which we did on at least three occasions. This room was plenty for us it offered a closet and a bathroom along with a king sized bed. The pools were great and there were many to chose from, staff would come around offering drinks or clean towels while you relaxed. One day they even served pina coladas out of pineapples! The food was equally good we tried all the different restaurants with our favorite being the WOK! This is a formal restaurant so dress code and reservations are required but it was worth it. Portions were large sometimes we could not even finish all the food. Would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a comfortable environment. We can’t talk much about the nightlife as we are early risers (hence the sunrise) but while talking to other I did hear there’s a nightclub which offered karaoke and dancing sometimes shows. We did managed to catch the circus show and that was incredible! Very talented performance.

We had an incredible time at Sanctuary Cap Cana and honestly have very few complaints. The food was absolutely delicious—truly a step above what we’ve experienced at other all-inclusive resorts. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I do wish the minibar offered a wider selection of drinks, but that’s a small detail. While some pools were sparkling clean, a few could have been better maintained as we noticed some algae. Also, during our stay, the beach had quite a bit of sargassum, which is a natural occurrence and not something the resort can fully control. Overall, the vibe of the resort was perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. We loved every moment of our stay and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful relaxing time at Excellence Punta Cana. During our seven nights stay the service from concierge, housekeeping, and food service was excellent in particular. We had a wonderful person attending us at the breakfast buffet, and the restaurants named Elizabeth. She was absolutely fantastic. She remembered our names, made us feel we were a part of her family, very comforting environment. We relaxed many days by the pool with consistently excellent bar service and snack service. Everyone was courteous and on point. Our check out with Jesus was quick and easy. As we waited for transportation, Jonathan kept us well-informed and comfortable. We will back very soon.

There were so many people who made our stay Excellent, but a few people who went far beyond any expectation for us: Esperanza, our Imperial Suite Concierge, made sure that we always had everything we needed and took care of everything for us. She is such an asset to Excellence Resorts and we appreciated her so much! Jose from the entertainment staff made us feel special and so included and made our trip so much fun! Francis at the Magna bar was so much fun, made us feel very special AND made incredible drinks! Louis, our server at Kitchen Table and Lobster House, made our meals special and fun! Miguel Angel called us by name every single time he saw us and was beyond welcoming. He made us feel at home and so cared for. Our beach waiter, Albert, was very kind and wonderful too! Thank you to all the amazing staff and we can’t wait to return soon! ♥️

We spent our honeymoon at Excellence Punta Cana, and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. The beach, the views, the resort itself was all stunning. But what really made the experience so special was the staff. Everyone we met was warm, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. We want to give a special shoutout to a few amazing people who stood out during our time there: Yefrey, Julio (Painting), Jose (Blade), Shaggy (Bernardino), Damirys, Alexandra, Jonathan Cabrera, and Elvis. Each of them brought something unique to our experience, whether it was a friendly conversation, great service, or just making us laugh and feel at home. Every day felt easy and relaxed, and we were constantly impressed by how thoughtful and attentive the team was. From mornings at the Kitchen Table to the pool and evening shows, we felt taken care of the entire time. We’re already talking about when we can come back.
