You can explore the attraction on one of the tours and view the hot, bubbling sulphur springs, followed by a dip in the medicinal mud baths.

The volcano itself is dormant, allowing visitors to drive and walk right into the heart of it.

No trip to Saint Lucia is complete without catching a glimpse of the world-famous Piton Mountains situated close to Soufriere.

A UNESCO World Heritage site, the two volcanic peaks are a sight to treasure, with Gros Piton standing at 771 metres high, while Petit Piton is slightly smaller at 743 metres.

As well as spectacular scenery, Saint Lucia also boasts an abundance of activities. Indeed, you can take a Segway tour, go zip-lining through the rainforest, hit the road on a jeep safari and much more besides.

If you’re seeking more of a romantic setting, Rock Maison, at Cap Maison, is an excellent choice. An experience like no other, you dine on a secluded wooden platform away from the main restaurant, with champagne delivered via zip wire.

For the chocoholics, a visit to the Hotel Chocolat chocolate plantation is a must. Here you can sample some of the finest chocolate in the world and be able to experience the journey from cocoa bean to luxury bar.
