Third time here and love the staff at Sultra restaurant the most (Christian Reyes, Juan Tee and Jones). Very attentive and remembered my drink order. The food is fantastic and I never needed a reservation to go there. Treated with respect being alone and its definitely my preferred spot. Pool and beach volleyball 🏐 😎 🤗 Theme nights are fun to dress up for. Security and bar staff are respectful and helpful. Chac-Chi Massage On the Beach, you’ll enjoy a truly amazing time. $45 for 1hr. $65 Jet Ski for 30 min and for para-gliding. This resort is a party resort. Its noisy no matter where you are lol

Such a fun experience. First time we have been and it was an experience like no other! We enjoyed it very much. Jesus and Carlos and Bianca were Especially amazing! We got locked out of our personal safe by accident (🙄) anyways we needed help because my passport was in there and we were about to catch a train and Jesus and Carlos literally saved the day for us and we still made our train on time. Bianca was always asking if we were ok and if we needed anything and immediately took care of anything at all we needed. Love them all! Highly recommend!

First-timer review — take it or leave it, just my opinion! The people: 10/10, no notes. We met SO many amazing people and had an absolute blast. Never felt pressured, never felt creeped out—just good vibes all around. The playmakers especially deserve a raise because they really tried their hardest to keep the party alive at all times. Now… the resort. 😬 Respectfully, she is tired. Maintenance clearly took a long vacation because things were broken everywhere—public bathroom handles hanging on for dear life, dirt in places dirt should not be, and missing tiles all around the pool bar like a bad game of Jenga. We booked the plush jacuzzi room and were excited to use it one night… until the water came out yellow. And not a cute yellow. It was giving “absolutely not,” it was giving yeast infection, it was giving drain the tub immediately. Food was fine. Nothing to write home about, but it kept us breathing. Overall verdict: the party and people were elite, but the resort itself was very much not it. If anyone knows of a higher-end resort with the same vibe (but, like, clean), please let a girl know 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I really wanted to love this resort. The theme and concept are genuinely fun and unique, and it’s clear that a lot of creativity went into the design of the place. Unfortunately, beyond the theme, our experience didn’t live up to the premium pricing or expectations. Let me start with the bright spot: the buffet. Normally buffets are the “backup plan,” but here it was surprisingly the highlight of our stay. The variety was good, the food was consistently enjoyable, and it ended up being the one place we looked forward to eating. Sadly, most of the specialty restaurants were disappointing. Meals were frequently overcooked, incorrect, or simply underwhelming. The teppanyaki restaurant was the only other dining experience that stood out as reasonably enjoyable. The property itself appears to be in need of some maintenance and attention to detail. Our room had a significant gap around the door that allowed sunlight in during the day and plenty of noise at night, making restful sleep a challenge. Several decorative elements were worn or peeling, the mirror was visibly deteriorating, and at one point our door lock broke entirely, leaving us waiting about an hour before we could get back into our room. Small issues individually, but together they added up and took away from the overall experience. Additionally, our mini-bar was never refilled after check-in despite requests. The drinks were another area where consistency would make a big difference. Depending on the bartender or bar, the same drink could taste completely different, and at times we genuinely couldn’t tell what we had ordered. Many blended drinks also contained large chunks of ice, suggesting the equipment may need maintenance. A standardized approach to recipes and preparation, similar to what many cruise lines use, could really improve the guest experience. On a positive note, the majority of the staff were friendly, hardworking, and clearly wanted guests to have a great time. They were one of the best parts of the resort. The timeshare sales team, however, was persistent in ways that may not appeal to every guest, so just be prepared for that aspect. To put things in perspective, we finished our trip at another resort that cost about a quarter of the price yet felt significantly more polished and better maintained. That comparison made it clear how much potential this property has if operational details and upkeep are improved. Overall, the resort has a fun theme and wonderful staff, but for the price point, the quality of food, maintenance, and consistency need significant improvement to match the experience guests expect.

We had an amazing first time experience at Temptations! The entire staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Even the playmakers, when they weren’t performing, if you ran into them randomly, they made you feel welcome, introduced themselves and also did a great job at remembering faces and names. Rafa and Mojito were very personable. The facility was always clean. The food and drinks were great! Absolutely loved our time here. 100% we will be returning. I have zero complaints.
