Bear Grylls Explorer Camp offers the chance to test your survival skills in the outdoors, with rock climbing, abseiling, hiking and ziplining among the challenging pursuits. For more adventure you can head to the desert for camel rides, hot air balloon trips, buggy safaris and nights under canvas in a traditional Bedouin camp. Best Time To Visit

Ras Al Khaimah's hot summers and mild winters make it the perfect choice for a wonderful holiday experience, any time of year. November to February is a great time to visit this exceptional destination, with temperatures ranging from 12°C to 25°C, which means conditions are perfect for getting out and about to discover the emirate's sensational natural attractions and cultural landmarks. The mercury soars in the summer months, sometimes as high as a stifling 45°C, so this is a better time of year for a laid-back beachfront holiday, lazing on the sands and taking to the gulf for some thrilling water sports action. Ras Al Khaimah's shopping malls, restaurants and key indoor attractions have excellent air conditioning systems so you'll feel completely comfortable, even in the height of summer. This magnificent Arabian Gulf getaway experiences very little rainfall, with occasional heavy showers and thunderstorms in the winter months.
