Great hotel, nothing to complain about, we enjoyed our stay. I was in the hotel in May this year and when I booked it, I didn't know that this hotel is mostly visited by older clientele. But it was a nice discovery on the spot, as I was here with my mother, who is retired, so she felt very well here and was also happy for the evening program. I appreciated that there were no screaming children running around the pool and no drunken youth making noise in the evening. Overall, there is a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The pools are nice, clean and there are plenty of sunbeds, the hot tub is very pleasant. The entire hotel and rooms are kept clean and are in excellent condition. We had half board and there was always a great choice and the food was very good. What I have to highlight is your staff, all very nice, helpful and always smiling, especially the staff in the restaurant and bar, we felt welcome here. It was my birthday during our stay and the hotel gave me a voucher for drinks at the bar as a gift, which was a wonderful surprise and very kind of you, thank you.

My 7 night, winter sun, break at the Volcano was everything I had hoped apart from the two cloudy days. I have stayed several times at the Volcano and am always drawn back to this hotel because it offers everything I want. The rooms are clean and well maintained. As always, I opted for a room overlooking the pool area. This gave me a pleasant view both during the day and at night when it is beautifully lit. My room package also gave me access to the Balance terrace with its own infinity pool. This is a great facility but it does get busy so securing your preferred sun bed has to be done as soon as it opens at 10am. The large soft drinks cooler is always well stocked and offers a good selection of refreshing drinks. I go half board. The food is good and something to suit everyone’s taste. It is plentiful and dishes are replenished regularly so there is no fear of missing out on a particular dish. The staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and always willing to help. Transfers to and from the hotel were easily arranged and hassle free. I use the small gym and find it more than adequate for my needs but didn’t use the spa facility this visit. It does look nice and I may well give it a try when I return in February.

What a great place to stay! Spacious bedroom, great pool area(s!), good evening entertainment, abundant & varied food choices, great location. The clientele were all ages and as its very accessible, a broad mix of abilities. I did yoga & aquaerobics (free), & there were other daytime activities subtly going on around the hotel if you fancied. But what really makes the hotel is the staff. All are unfailingly cheerful & bend-over-backwards helpful! You really get the feeling it's a nice place to work & they want to be there to help you have the best holiday. When my elderly parents ran into some health issues, their concern was genuine & honestly they could not have done more to assist. The customer service team were exceptional. All the reception staff, waiting staff & room staff (never a morning without a "buen dia" in the corridor!) were amazing. No wonder people return year on year. Loved it :)

This hotel is generally very good and has been refurbished to a high standard. It is geared for the 50+ with the majority 60+. The breakfast is excellent in quality of food and service. We were B&B so can't comment on dinner. The cleanliness of the hotel through out is excellent. A couple of niggles. Extras, they want to charge for minor additions. Tea and coffee replenishment, room safe, indoor pool/spa etc. A smart facility that is charged by the hour and as a consequence is left unused for the majority of the time. The hotel is not cheap so the extras are unnecessary in my view.

Even though the whole place looks nice at first, I did not enjoy my stay here at all. The rooms are terribly noisy both from outside noise and the neighbouring room (i could hear them talking and their tv all night long). I changed the room once, and it was worse than the first. also, they threaten to charge you with 15 Euro for a room change. The reception staff was of mixed quality. some were kind and helpful, others cold and heartless, letting me know that I was only a means to pay their bill. There are very few amenities in the rooms for a 4-star hotel. there is no drinking water, and they charge extra to use the room safe! I had a standard room and felt like a third class guest. the 2 nicest areas of the hotel are reserved for higher guest categories. They have a gym which is not well maintained and no water there either! even though you are not supposed to reserve sunbeds in the main pool area with towels, everybody does it, and the staff does not care. On the plus side, the rooms were at least clean ( I only saw one big cockroach on the 4th floor), and the food is very good. But for failing to provide me with a decent room, which is the main purpose of a hotel, I cannot give more than 2 stars. I would come back here only if I tried all other places in the vicinity before.
